2/3 Moving on with @yauatchariyadh at @modealfaisaliah, we continue with the starters: 1. Edamame Truffle dumplings - not a preferred taste 2. Har Gau - also known as shrimp bonnets were definitely second best from the dumplings. 3. Scallop Shui Mai - This was the best to me being a prawn based dumpling, it was my favourite. 👌🏽 4. Wagyu beef puff - This looked the most interesting and tasted really good even though it’s on the sweet side. 5. Mushroom spring roll - A nice treat 6. Three style Mushroom Cheung Fun - This is amazing for the mushroom lovers out there. 7. Szechuan aromatic duck served with pancakes - Crispy on the outside, while so tender on the inside, this tasted really good when made nicely with the soft pancakes. Altho the duck salad from the previous post is still my favourite when it comes to duck. . They also have a wide assortment of amazing tea options, which were definitely refreshing. . Coming up in the post for the last section would be main course along with the dessert from Yauatcha patisserie, their own line which is also available as grab n go. . 🥢 @kimono.sa is Japanese fusion takeaway restaurant located at @onesquaresa. . We were treated to some delicious selections from the menu: 1. Kimono Popcorn - Interesting looking and oh so delicious! Shrimp stuffed with kunafa. 👌🏽 SR49 2. Beef Teppanyaki - Tender, juicy and flavourful. Was definitely a delight. SR59 3. Kimono Salad - Wasn’t bad but not for me. Looked a bit like coleslaw but tastes nothing like it and yet close. 😅 SR29 4. Rainbow Maki - Lovely selection of maki, especially for the authentic sushi lovers. SR34 5. Halloumi Maki - If you’re into the more fried fusion forms of maki, this was nice in that aspect. SR25 6. Crispy Cheetos Maki - As intriguing as this may sound to some, it wasn’t great. SR34 7. Drinks (Very Berry and Minted Lemonade) - Both really nice drinks especially the Very Berry. SR24/17 . Overall a nice cozy little place with amazing service and vibes. 🥢 So this got removed first for copyright issues. 🙂 . I’m gonna talk about the food at @kimono.sa in detail on another post so do keep an eye out for that post to come. �� . If y’all are curious though, it was definitely interesting and nice. 🤔 Staff and service was amazing. Some dishes are worth the price while some are not. And they are available for delivery through the @jahezapp. . So I tried a video shot for the first time without a gymbal and that’s why it’s not great but hopefully will with practice will get better! 🤣😝 . Suddenly, I’m a lot more interested in videography these days. So many things you can do now so easily and the results can be so rewarding compared to photography. Who doesn’t love a challenge and to expand their skills, am I right? 🤓 . I’ll work on it more in future shots, this was just a trial to see if I can do without a gymbal for now.
