it's amazing that every time the script/actors/whoever makes the slightest queer wink with dean and castiel, the next second the show backpedal so fast It does three backflips

I mean, I'm really tired that after every dialogue like: Castiel is in love with dean humans

or

dean saying: cas I need you

they are separated or immediately overrun by women (yes i'm on season 10 and watching the castiel/hannah roadtrip while dean is a demon, and I just have to laught).

as I have said in some other post of my spn watch: the queerbaiting of this series is unbearable but at a level that is not even comparable to other series of the moment, before or after

not even as in sherlock where AT LEAST sherlock and john are given space to interact, or as in House MD where House and Wilson have episodes and episodes of just them clowning around and being insufferably codependent

the equivalent between supernatural and the other series would be, for example, that after any minimally gay phrase (like the famous blood types dialogue in House) would be that Wilson or John would DISAPPEAR for half of the season with no real narrative explanation

Destiel AU idea (again)

Dean is searching for a flat because he recently divorced Lisa. He wants one that is big and comfortable enough to welcome his children, Ben and Emma. It's been months since he started searching for one. Fortunately, Lisa is understanding enough to let him stay in their old house until he finds something.

They actually aren't in a hard and conflicted relationship right now, their marriage stopped because there wasn't love between them anymore. They still care about each other.

Dean knew he wasn't in love with Lisa anymore and he suspected the same for Lisa, but he was fine with it. Lisa though thought otherwise. She asked for divorce because she said that they both deserved to find love and be loved.

So, Dean is doing his umpteenth visit for a flat that he spotted on Internet. This one seems really nice and clean, his children will be able to have their own rooms. And the kitchen looks awesome with enough place for him to cook.

The real estate agent who give him the tour of the flat isn't bad either. He has blue eyes, which looks surreal, long and dark eyelashes that match his hair and his growing beard. Dean listens to him attentively and can't help but look right into his eyes when he speaks. Dean wants to confide in him and he does that naturally actually.

He tells him that he is sick to search for a home for his family. It's been months, and he's exhausted to be disappointed each time he thinks he found something. But at the same time, he wants his children to feel good in that new home so he is demanding.

That real estate agent, Castiel, is compassionate and doesn't understand why Dean doesn't find one with his solid, complete application. Castiel tells Dean that maybe it's because others real estate agents are struggling right now. There's a lot of people searching for a new home at this time of the year, so a lot of work. Castiel admits that he, himself, is buried in work all day long.

He works 6 days a week constantly. Since Dean is really attentive to what the man in front of him says, he notices that Castiel doesn't seem to have someone in his life to get back to. So, he goes for it. He asks Castiel if he wants to go and get a drink with him once they have finished the tour.

Castiel seems surprised by the offer and looks away. He fumbles with his pen and papers and puts them on the kitchen counter. He takes a deep breath. So, Dean fears his answer.

"Are you asking me on a d-" Castiel starts asking hesitantly.

"Yes." Dean cuts him, because he somehow fears that word. It sounds too official and he's still living with his ex. Plus, it's been a while for him.

"O - okay. Yeah." Castiel agrees, and neither of them is able to look at the other.

Y'know maybe we would let this stupid fucking show go if the CW hadn't edited and censored the hell out of the 12 year long conclusion to the best love story ever told. Maybe I wouldn't be rewatching this show over and over and over. Maybe... MAYBE I wouldn't be 75 pages into my S16 fix it script. Maybe I could work on some of my original ideas... Maybe if my brain wasn't rotting away with what should have been. Maybe if we didn't get constant news about how things were originally written and shot and goddamnit.

My Google Drive has been begging me to either pay for more space or clear out old files, and going through documents from 10+ years ago to archive them to my computer and clear them off my Drive itself is almost making me wish I could still connect to some of my abandoned stories and ideas.

I never followed through with most of them, but hindsight helps me see what I was trying to do in the moment and why it didn't work. If nothing else, I hope I've carried the things I wanted from those stories into the things I write now. I hope I learned some things from my past self, in that sense.

Man's is literally cleaning up another mess because the angel wasn't addressed again. When I tell you the spn fandom does not deserve him.

Misha shouldn't have to explain anything. It's not his job to be the fandom scapegoat nor clean-up agent. If his schedule couldn't work, fine. Doesn't mean Castiel couldn't be mentioned. Cause they found a way to make it work for Sam. JP, nor Mark S couldn't make an appearance, Sam and Crowley got a mention. And before I get the "Dean needs to work thru his shit before he says Cas' name" bs excuses, Jack can't mention his dad? Bobby can't mention his friend? "I'm going to get the calvary", "When I rebuilt heaven" were two perfect opportunities to say Cas name.

how i know dean loved cas: i have eyes. yes, jensen didn’t act outwardly emotional but like this is dean we’re talking about? the mommy issues daddy issues combo? with a side of savior complex and emotional dysregulation from ptsd? ofc he wasn’t sobbing, dean was trying to come up with a plan that didn’t end with them both dying. but even if cas had told him on a chill day where they were just at the bunker, completely physically safe, he would have had the same reaction. dean winchester doesn’t believe that he gets a happy ending, he would sooner have thought case’s vessel had been possessed by someone else or he was hallucinating than cas actually loving him back. he would need at least a week of constant “just checking, you’re actually cas?” “i think you’re lying, there’s no way cas loves me” “are you just saying that so i’ll fuck you?”

ofc course he doesn’t mention it after cas dies. he’s 99% sure he misunderstood or misheard or thought it was a trick by the empty. it would take the worlds biggest sledgehammer to get it through his thick skull that he is loved and deserves love, cas unfortunately didn’t have that

You know how I know Dean loved Cas back? They never brought up the love confession again!!!!! One of the main characters confesses his love for the other main character and gets killed for it and it's just never discussed???? In any shape or form????? WHO DOES THAT!!!!! Unless you are avoiding having any sort of discussion because there is no way this character could be anything other than reciprocating the love!!!!!!!!!
