erbluhen emotion knows he is not long for this world. however, there's something he wants to do before then. wc 2968, ao3 mirror
He comes first to Arme, who scowls and commands him not to touch him like that. He pouts, puts on a theatrical show of whininess because he knows it’s what he expects, and he knows it’ll ease the burn of rejection.
He comes to Arme because they are kin, and he thinks this is the kind of person who is supposed to touch you affectionately, and he wants to feel this before he dies. (calling it death was scary, but he found it less so than the reality of what it was. if you died, you were at least remembered after you were gone, so thinking about it like that was easier.)
Because he was held before, once by Elsword, and once by Rena, both times with joy and affection in their limbs. It felt warm and lovely and many more words Erbluhen was only just now learning the true definitions of, even if he didn’t know it at the time. He wants to feel this again, because he thinks perhaps one of the saddest things about dying is that he will never get to feel that warmth again.
But he doesn’t want to push Arme into something he doesn’t want, because he doesn’t want to upset him, despite knowing the other angel does not feel upset, or anything at all. (and because the embrace, if he got one, would not be warm and loving like before, which is what erbluhen is aiming for. but that isn’t important right now.)
One wouldn’t really expect there to be any kind of warmth, or any kind of anything in Henir, but Erbluhen had learned better.
It feels a little bit like stepping into a pond, or maybe stepping onto a sheet of ice covering a pond and falling through, except he doesn’t get wet, just keeps falling and falling. But he’s walking as he does, and following the little trace of warmth he’s familiar with. The only piece of warmth in the entirety of the void. A marvel, and a blessing.
Though that light didn’t have any idea, couldn’t see it. And maybe he never would. Maybe that was part of being a light in the dark, was that others could feel it, but you never would yourself.
Erbluhen eventually finds the source of the warmth, and greets him with a friendly ‘hello.’ Of course, he doesn’t respond, he never does, but Erbluhen likes the act of a greeting.
He bows over to see him better. He’s sitting, or at least Erbluhen thinks he is, he looks like it. But he wasn’t sure where the surface of this place was, or if it was a place, or if it had one at all. So maybe they were just floating.
Well, either way. He situates himself in a similar position next to him, knees curled up to his chest. Leans on him gently.
“Apos, can I ask you for a favor?”
And Apostasia doesn’t say anything, simply makes a noncommittal noise, and Erbluhen has grown used to this, so he continues.
“I would like it very much if you gave me a hug.”
“...What?” His voice is soft and pseudo-hoarse.
“Are you familiar with it?”
“...Yes. But why?”
“Because I won’t be able to feel it anymore soon, and I want to do so one last time.”
“Why… did you come to me…?”
Erbluhen hums. “Because I like you. And you understand a lot more about me than most people.”
Apostasia doesn't acknowledge him for a few moments. But then, after a bit, he slowly, awkwardly, extends his arms to him. Erbluhen happily situates himself in them.
...Ah. It did feel warm. Apostasia’s arms close around him, and he thinks maybe it shouldn't feel as warm as it does, but it does, and it's nice.
Was he supposed to think things of Henir were nice? Would Ishmael erase him even sooner if she knew of this?
Well, it wouldn't matter soon enough anyway. He nudges closer to the other angel, or whatever Apostasia was now.
“You're very warm, you know.”
A long pause. It always took Apostasia a moment to respond. “...You're the one who's warm.”
“Mm, but I'm fairly certain of what I feel right now, and it's definitely warm.”
“Broken and empty things… do not feel… anything at all.”
“Now, who told you any of that?” Erbluhen asks, leaning his head back to look up at Apostasia.
Apostasia doesn't answer. Erbluhen doesn't understand. Maybe he doesn't need to.
Did Apostasia enjoy this as well? (could he enjoy things?) He scoots himself up more upright, face next to Apostasia’s, now.
“Do you want me to hug you too?”
“...I don't know.”
Well, let's try it anyway, Erbluhen thinks, forgetting the saying part of it. He rests his head on Apostasia’s collar and wraps his arms around his stomach so his hands link together on the other side.
He thinks, for a moment, that this is closer than he's ever been with anyone. Huh. Might as well get it down, since he won't have another chance, he supposes. Was Apostasia feeling anything?
He looks to his face again. His eyes are ever unchanging, but his expression looks softer, somehow, his air warmer, somehow.
“Apos,” he starts, “has anyone ever held you before?”
Apostasia shakes his head, slowly.
“So this is the first time?”
A nod, just as slow, and Erbluhen notices now, apprehensive, maybe.
“Do you feel happy?”
He takes a moment. His head falls light onto Erbluhen's, his eyes close. A silence that blankets them both comfortably. “...I don't know. Maybe.” Slowly, slowly, “I am not… sure… what my being happy feels like.”
“Well, maybe is better than nothing,” says Erbluhen, and lets himself feel as if made of feathers and in a soft bed at home, as togetherness sometimes does to you.
...Oh, his thoughts were turning again. He doesn't want to think of how now that he knows this warmth, he's just going to lose it. He makes an attempt to discard this train of thought, and focus on the feeling of being close with someone instead.
Because this was now. He could have his death later. Now, he was warm, and still had time. He could still make the best of what he had left.
He looks out into nothing, and thinks that he will do the best he can to go through with this. The thing about nothing, was that it gave you a lot of space to think. He wonders if that was what Apostasia did here, thinking. Erbluhen is of the opinion that doing too much thinking must not be good for you, if it’s never split up by anything else, and he thinks maybe Apostasia should partake in a bit more doing, though he doesn’t know what there is to do in the void.
He supposes all there must be is thinking. He doesn’t know if dragging Apostasia out of the void would hurt him. Does he simply stay here because it’s easier? ...Either way, he wouldn’t want to upset him.
“Would you like to leave with me, for a bit?” he asks.
Apostasia barely moves his head, long unkempt hair falling over his shoulders. “...Why…?”
“I want to see the sun shine over the arcs in Elysion with you, and I wonder if you would like this as well.”
Apostasia shrinks in tighter on himself. “I don’t… know.” A pause, longer, longer. “Is it… nice?” An enthusiastic nod from Erbluhen. “...Warm?” Another. “...Maybe…”
“Now?”
“Now…?” He pulls himself closer, tighter. “Why… now?”
“Well, it doesn’t have to be now, but I don’t know how much time I have left, is all.”
Apostasia stares holes into nothing. Slowly, slower, “...Alright.”
He gently asks Apostasia to take them to Elrios, as he may know how to enter this void, but he doesn't know how to leave, and he wordlessly obliges. It's almost routine, by now. Apostasia at the very least doesn't seem to mind.
Where they end up is where Erbluhen was before, which, luckily, was right around Atlas Station. He tries not to think about how empty it feels now. Apostasia doesn't acknowledge it. Perhaps he doesn't even know. Had he ever gotten to meet Yuno…?
...Well, he never would, now. He briefly thinks about how no one else would ever get to meet him. Would Apostasia remember him, being another angel…? Or would he be erased from even his existence, his experience?
Ah, it was a dreadful train of thought. He cuts it off to call Apostasia to follow him. He goes along, though Erbluhen notices his demeanor here is not unlike a small child in a new place. He seems pensive, wary of his surroundings as if something might try to hurt him.
(though, it was like this before as well, but now he seems more like he'd cut whatever attempted down before it could touch him rather than cower in acceptance. he doesn't know if it's better or worse. perhaps it's neither.)
Apostasia seems not to know what to do with himself upon arriving at Elysion. Like a vampire shrinking away at the sun, or a flower wilting in heat, or something or other else, there were too many things to draw similarities to, and Erbluhen was getting caught up in them.
He pulls him by the hand as gently as he can through the walkways. Apostasia seems not to want to leave the shade, and that’s fine with Erbluhen. They sit together, and Apostasia looks much smaller when he’s not blending into the vast expanse of the void, Erbluhen notices.
Much more frail. More fragile. Like something that needs protecting. The dark patches of his body where his skin appeared to flake away make his head hurt at this proximity. Perhaps he was protecting Apostasia, albeit from himself.
"Apostasia," he starts, "Why are you kind to me?"
Apostasia doesn't respond, not immediately. "...I am… kind?"
"In a way, yes. You let me come to see you, and talk to you of things I know full well you don't care for. You came here with me when there's no real benefit for you. But it makes me happy. In that way, yes, I believe you're kind."
Apostasia stares forward. He never does look Erbluhen in the eyes. "...That is selfish, not kind. I miss the earth. The shine… of life unique to it. ...You have that. I can see it, through you."
Erbluhen smiles. "You don't usually talk like that." He gets no reply. He redirects the collective train of thought. "You lord over things that pass, don't you?"
Apostasia nods. They both know it's not that simple, but neither need elaborate. Erbluhen sighs, wistful, tired, maybe.
"Do you think I'll come to you? When I die."
Apostasia stays quiet. Erbluhen continues. "I must say, I think I'd prefer that. It would be much less lonely, all the nothing, if I had someone else, don't you think?"
Apostasia nods, slowly. Erbluhen wonders if that's how Apostasia feels about his 'visits.' He knows he wouldn't get an answer, however, as well as that he doesn't particularly need one.
"Apostasia," he says, "would you ensure my death would be a peaceful one?"
"...I can't do that." Apostasia tells him plainly.
Erbluhen laughs. "Oh, I know that much. But, hypothetically. If you could, would you?"
A silence drawn out for what would be too long for someone unused to the corrupted angel's way of things. "...Of course. That is… the least a being like you deserves."
Erbluhen sighs. "It would be nice… I wish I could say goodbye, at least. I'd like to tell everyone that, and decide that I've done what I need to, and… Fade, quietly, among the flowers and dew of life. But that's not a privilege angels get, I know that. Still…"
He glances over to the other. He realizes only now that Apostasia is staring at him.
"...Is that odd?"
"For an angel… yes. You… are not afraid." Apostasia pauses. "...Rather… You view your end as something sentimental, rather than simply ceasing to exist."
Erbluhen laughs, again. "And that's odd for an angel, isn't it."
Apostasia knows he's right, and so does he. "...You are more than just an angel."
"Ahh… Is that so? How interesting." He doesn't entirely understand what Apostasia means, though.
"You are a person. Not an angel." He states. They both know there is a stark difference between the two. Erbluhen is a bit taken aback.
Truthfully, the idea of being his own person instead of a living intent was terrifying, as appealing and wished for as it was.
He decides not to think about it for now. There was too much to think about, and too little time, and it was all rather overwhelming.
The sun is beginning to set. Warm evening light falls over them, and lights the city in a way that Erbluhen has always found stunning. The sun lays the earth to rest, and the moon watches over it while she rests herself.
Ah. His heart aches so very badly. He wants to see this same thing and so much more with everyone he’s come to love. He wants to tell them this, that he loves them and would love nothing more than to spend the rest of his days in moments like these with them.
But telling them that was scary, and he’s been so cold thus far, and there’s no time, and everything was so intensely frightening.
The air cools around them. He shivers, and it makes Apostasia stare. He simply laughs. Right, angels weren't supposed to feel the weather, much less care about it.
Angels weren't to be sentimental, either. They weren't to deny their purpose, or their end. Everything about him was wrong in the eyes of Ishmael.
Perhaps it was best that 'he' would soon end. Maybe to end this way, naturally and as intended from his very beginning, would be better than being forcefully cut down by Ishmael for defying her.
He shivers. It… was a scary thought. Apostasia cocks his head, a slight motion barely noticeable if not for the way his long hair falls delicately over his face when he does.
“...Are you cold?”
Erbluhen is caught off guard by the statement. Then, after a moment, he laughs, and loses himself in doing so.
“...I don’t understand. Why are you laughing? I asked a question.”
“No, no, it’s fine! I’m not laughing at you.” He clarifies, though he knows Apostasia doesn’t care if he’s laughing at him or not, nor does he comprehend that notion, but he forgets he’s not speaking to a person for this moment. “It’s just… I suppose I am a person, after all, if you can ask that sort of thing, huh?” He pauses. “And… I’m not cold, no. It’s warm out.” He knows Apostasia can’t feel it, though, so he uses a tone of gentle explanation rather than teasing. “I’m just thinking.”
“I understand that.” says Apostasia, after a long pause. Of course Apostasia would understand that, what with it being likely most of what he does, now. Erbluhen realizes he might not be around for when that changes.
He also realizes with the setting sun that it’s late, and he needs to be with the others, and that he’d stayed out far later than he’d intended to. (but he didn’t want to leave. he was scared to.)
But something he’s learned is that confidence is about acting despite that fear. He stands, holds his hand out for Apostasia to take. He follows, pensively letting his hand close around Erbluhen’s as he lifts him up. He has a slightly confused look in his eyes that says he doesn’t know why Erbluhen did that, simply took the gesture because it was offered. Erbluhen doesn’t let go of his hand. Apostasia’s eyes fixate on that.
“I… think I’ve got to go. There are people waiting for me.”
“And… that is why you return to them?”
Erbluhen nods. “It’d be rude to leave them waiting.”
Apostasia looks up at his face as he says that for a moment, then back to their hands. “...If I… were to wait for you… would you return to me…?”
Erbluhen blinks, surprised. “I… would certainly try, if I were still around to do so. Would that be okay?”
Apostasia nods after a moment, letting his hand fall out of Erbluhen’s. “...If I wait.”
“If you wait.” Erbluhen repeats with a smile. Apostasia words it like a hypothetical, but he knows, somewhere, that he’s being perfectly serious about it. Had he been lonely…? ...Well, it certainly seemed like one would be, all alone with nothing but the void. His smile grows softer. “I’ll see you, then. You’ll go back on your own?”
He asks, but they both know the answer, that Erbluhen can’t come back to Henir with him. Apostasia stares back at him a moment longer, before pulling his gaze away and stepping into his self-made blindingly dark abyss that would lead him to Henir.
Erbluhen lingers, feeling empty in a way he struggles to find a way to describe to himself. Well, he’s lingered long enough already.
When he returns to the people he would now feel comfortable calling his family, they fret over him, wondering where he’s been. He tells them he was visiting an old friend, though he fails to elaborate when they prod him for more. He’s happy to be back among them, more than he’s ever been before.
It feels warm. Friendly? These were his friends, after all. ...Right.
Ah, he would miss them dearly. (he knows this is untrue, as he wouldn’t be around to. but it’s something he feels very deeply in his heart.)
(his heart…)
That night, Erbluhen watches over the search party instead of sleeping.

“So I give you a new command:
Love each other deeply and fully. Remember the ways that I have loved you, and demonstrate your love for others in those same ways. Everyone will know you as My followers if you demonstrate your love to others.”
Today’s reading of the Scriptures from the New Testament is the 13th chapter of the book of John:
Before the Passover festival began, Jesus was keenly aware that His hour had come to depart from this world and to return to the Father. From beginning to end, Jesus’ days were marked by His love for His people. Before Jesus and His disciples gathered for dinner, the adversary filled Judas Iscariot’s heart with plans of deceit and betrayal. Jesus, knowing that He had come from God and was going away to God, stood up from dinner and removed His outer garments. He then wrapped Himself in a towel, poured water in a basin, and began to wash the feet of the disciples, drying them with His towel.
Simon Peter (as Jesus approaches): Lord, are You going to wash my feet?
Jesus: Peter, you don’t realize what I am doing, but you will understand later.
Peter: You will not wash my feet, now or ever!
Jesus: If I don’t wash you, you will have nothing to do with Me.
Peter: Then wash me but don’t stop with my feet. Cleanse my hands and head as well.
Jesus: Listen, anyone who has bathed is clean all over except for the feet. But I tell you this, not all of you are clean.
He knew the one with plans of betraying Him, which is why He said, “not all of you are clean.” After washing their feet and picking up His garments, He reclined at the table again.
Jesus: Do you understand what I have done to you? You call Me Teacher and Lord, and truly, that is who I am. So if your Lord and Teacher washes your feet, then you should wash one another’s feet. I am your example; keep doing what I do. I tell you the truth: a servant is not greater than the master. Those who are sent are not greater than the one who sends them. If you know these things, and if you put them into practice, you will find happiness. I am not speaking about all of you. I know whom I have chosen, but let the Hebrew Scripture be fulfilled that says, “The very same man who eats My bread with Me will stab Me in the back.” Assuredly, I tell you these truths before they happen so that when it all transpires, you will believe that I am. I tell you the truth: anyone who accepts the ones I send accepts Me. In turn, the ones who accept Me also accept the One who sent Me.
Jesus was becoming visibly distressed.
Jesus: I tell you the truth: one of you will betray Me.
The disciples began to stare at one another, wondering who was the unfaithful disciple. One disciple in particular, who was loved by Jesus, reclined next to Him at the table. Peter motioned to the disciple at Jesus’ side.
Peter (to the beloved disciple): Find out who the betrayer is.
Beloved Disciple (leaning in to Jesus): Lord, who is it?
Jesus: I will dip a piece of bread in My cup and give it to the one who will betray Me.
He dipped one piece in the cup and gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot. After this occurred, Satan entered into Judas.
Jesus (to Judas): Make haste, and do what you are going to do.
No one understood Jesus’ instructions to Judas. Because Judas carried the money, some thought he was being instructed to buy the necessary items for the feast or give some money to the poor. So Judas took his piece of bread and departed into the night.
Upon Judas’s departure, Jesus spoke:
Jesus: Now the Son of Man will be glorified as God is glorified in Him. If God’s glory is in Him, His glory is also in God. The moment of this astounding glory is imminent. My children, My time here is brief. You will be searching for Me; and as I told the Jews, “You cannot go where I am going.” So I give you a new command: Love each other deeply and fully. Remember the ways that I have loved you, and demonstrate your love for others in those same ways. Everyone will know you as My followers if you demonstrate your love to others.
Simon Peter: Lord, where are You going?
Jesus: Peter, you cannot come with Me now, but later you will join Me.
Peter: Why can’t I go now? I’ll give my life for You!
Jesus: Will you really give your life for Me? I tell you the truth: you will deny Me three times before the rooster crows.
The Book of John, Chapter 13 (The Voice)
Today’s paired chapter of the Testaments is the 3rd chapter of the book of Ecclesiastes:
Teacher: For everything that happens in life—there is a season, a right time for everything under heaven:
A time to be born, a time to die;
a time to plant, a time to collect the harvest;
A time to kill, a time to heal;
a time to tear down, a time to build up;
A time to cry, a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, a time to dance;
A time to scatter stones, a time to pile them up;
a time for a warm embrace, a time for keeping your distance;
A time to search, a time to give up as lost;
a time to keep, a time to throw out;
A time to tear apart, a time to bind together;
a time to be quiet, a time to speak up;
A time to love, a time to hate;
a time to go to war, a time to make peace.
What good comes to anyone who works so hard, all to gain a few possessions? I have seen the kinds of tasks God has given each of us to do to keep one busy, and I know God has made everything beautiful for its time. God has also placed in our minds a sense of eternity; we look back on the past and ponder over the future, yet we cannot understand the doings of God. I know there is nothing better for us than to be joyful and to do good throughout our lives; to eat and drink and see the good in all of our hard work is a gift from God. I know everything God does endures for all time. Nothing can be added to it; nothing can be taken away from it. We humans can only stand in awe of all God has done. What has been and what is to be—already is. And God holds accountable all the pursuits of humanity.
Teacher: Again, I looked at everything that goes on under the sun and realized that in place of justice, wickedness prevails. In place of righteousness, wrongdoing succeeds. I said to myself, “God will judge the righteous and the wicked, for there is a right time for every pursuit and for every action.” I thought about how people act: “God often puts them to the test to show them how much they are like the animals.” The fate of humans and the fate of animals is the same. As one dies, so does the other, for we have the same breath within us. In the end, we have no advantage over the animals. For as I have said, it’s all fleeting. Humans and animals alike go to one place; all are formed from dust, and all return to the dust once more. Who really knows whether the spirits of human beings go up and the spirits of animals go down into the earth? So I realized there is nothing better for us than to find joy in the work we do, for work is its own reward. For who will bring us back to see what will be after we are gone?
The Book of Ecclesiastes, Chapter 3 (The Voice)
my personal reading of the Scriptures for Saturday, may 22 of 2021 with a paired chapter from each Testament of the Bible along with Today’s Proverbs and Psalms
A post by John Parsons that looks at Light:
Because Ultimate Reality *is* the Presence of the LORD, the meaning of life is found in a personal relationship with Him, that is, being in agreement with the Truth of Who God is. Sanctification, or growing in holiness, is the process of drawing near to the LORD and learning his character and will. As we are encounter the light of his truth, we will see more, and this enables us to follow him (i.e., share his heart and vision) more clearly...
May we always focus on Yeshua, the Light of Torah and the true Wisdom of God: "Whoever has My commandments (מִצְוֹתַי) and keeps them, that is the one who loves me. And the one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will manifest (lit., "shine within" from ἐν, "in" + φαίνω, "shine") myself to him" (John 14:21). There it is - the Source of the Light that overcomes all darkness; the Power that is behind the armor of God... Yeshua is the Beginning, the Center, and the End of all true meaning from God.
"Where your treasure is, there will be your heart also" (Matt. 6:21). Your heart, your soul, your inmost being: What you value most defines and "locates" you. We cannot not "treasure;" we cannot desire not to desire; we are inherently valuing beings. It's not a question of whether you will worship, but what you indeed are worshiping. Where is your heart? What are you seeking? Our heart, our core, our meaning is revealed by what we value most... And May God give you the grace to find true treasure! [Hebrew for Christians]

and another:
From our Torah reading for this week (Naso) we read: "The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers -- it is to him you shall listen" (Deut. 18:15). So who was this "prophet like Moses"? Islam claims it was Muhammad (y"s), though that is certainly false, since the true prophet to come would be a Jew who would be from the people Israel, not from another nation, and particularly not from the descendants of Ishmael. So what characteristics were to mark this extraordinary Jewish prophet to come? To answer that question intelligently, we must first consider the life of Moses so that we might detect the foreshadowing of the one who would be "like" him, that is, a prophet who would serve as an analog to his mission and life. Consider, then that after being chosen by God to deliver Israel from bondage during the time of the Exodus, Moses became 1) the mediator (priest) of the covenant between God and the Jewish people, 2) the legislator the various commandments of the Torah, and 3) the prophet who received the vision of the Mishkan (the Altar), the future exile, and the ultimate destiny and glory of Zion. Moses was extraordinary because as the mediator of Israel, he instituted various sacrificial rites before the laws of sacrifice were enacted. For example, he instituted the Passover sacrifice in Egypt (Exod. 12:1-11), and when the people later reached Mount Sinai, he offered blood sacrifices to ratify the terms of the covenant (Exod. 24:8). As the great legislator of Israel, Moses declared the terms of the covenant, serving as its voice of authority. And finally, Moses ascended the mountain and received the prophetic vision of the Mishkan (Tabernacle) before the priesthood had been instituted in Israel (Exod. 25:8-9). And even after the laws of the priests were proclaimed and the Mishkan was set up, Moses went before the very Holy of Holies to hear the Voice of the LORD, even though technically speaking this was forbidden, since he was not a kohen (i.e., descendant of Aaron). Indeed our Torah portion this week (i.e., parashat Naso) concludes, "And when Moses went into the tent of meeting to speak with the LORD, he heard the Voice speaking to him from above the mercy seat (i.e., kapporet: כַּפּרֶת) that was on the Ark of the Testimony, from between the two cherubim; and it spoke to him" (Num. 7:89).
"A prophet like unto me..." (Deut. 18:15). I mention all this because some people stumble over the fact that Yeshua, who was from the tribe of Judah, served as Israel’s High Priest of the New Covenant. Of course this issue is addressed in the Book of Hebrews, where the role of the Malki-Tzedek priesthood is ascribed to King Yeshua (Heb. 5:6-11; 7:1-19), but it is important to realize that Moses himself foresaw the coming of the Messiah as Israel’s great prophet, priest and King (Deut. 18:15-19; John 5:36). Indeed, just as Moses himself was "outside" the law by serving as Israel’s priest but nevertheless was commissioned by God Himself, so also with Yeshua, who instituted the sacrifice of His blood as the Lamb of God and who went directly before God's Throne to intercede on our behalf. Near to the Heart of God
“And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goeth in unto the holy place, for a memorial before the LORD continually.” (Exodus 28:29)
The clothing of the high priest was made according to very specific instructions. Each piece of the garment both symbolized and preshadowed a ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ as the “one mediator between God and man” (1 Timothy 2:5).
The names of the tribes of Israel were engraved upon two stones (six names per stone), and they were to be mounted upon the shoulders of the ephod. The broad shoulders of a man are often used as a symbol of strength, particularly in carrying a heavy load. Illustrating His perfect faithfulness and capability, the burden-bearing work of Christ weighted with the sins and needs of His people is pictured through Aaron, who would “bear their names before the LORD upon his two shoulders for a memorial” (Exodus 28:12). It is with great confidence in that capability that His people can therefore turn to Him, “casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you” (1 Peter 5:7).
As seen from the text verse, this work is not a drudgery but a labor of love. The names of the children of Israel were not only on the high priest’s shoulders but also carried “upon his heart.” In one sense this was a visible token of what He had said of old: “Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee” (Jeremiah 31:3). For believers today, Christ’s high priestly ministry is explained more fully in the book of Hebrews, where believers are assured that “because he continueth ever, [he] hath an unchangeable priesthood” (Hebrews 7:24). Therefore, “let not your heart be troubled” (John 14:1), for He has your name upon His own heart “for a memorial before the LORD continually.” RJG

• Tonight we are going to look into the topic I titled SINGLEHOOD
Some questions and problems we have been solving here make me to understand that we don't actually know the purpose and meaning of Singlehood.
Singlehood is stage where every single prepare for an institution called marriage. It's unescapable stage in life. Every man/ adult passed through Singlehood and every child must pass it as well. You can't escape it. Your marital bliss is bassed on the usage of your Singlehood. If you utilize it well, you reap the good fruit of it in marriage but if misuse it, you will reap the bad fruit of it.
• What are you doing with your Singlehood right now as a single?
So many people are so desperate to marry without having an account of their Singlehood. If I may ask, as a single, what have you achieve in your Singlehood?
What will you tell your children tomorrow About your single stage that will make you to be proud of your Singlehood? Are you proud your Singlehood right now based on things you have achieved as a single? Are you really proud of your Singlehood now?
Every stage is for a purpose. Your being single is not a cause but a gain, you know why? Because It is better to be single and be hopping to marry than to marry and be praying to be single. Your Singlehood is the only opportunity to achieve whatsoever you want to achieve. Whatsoever you fail to achieve in your singleness you can't achieve it in marriage or else God want helps you. During your Singlehood, you have the time for yourself without taking an excuse or permission from someone close to you a spouse. You have right to take decisions on your own, do whatever you desire without explaining to anyone why you choose to do do it or take such decision.
• Singlehood is a blessed stage of life.
You don't have any distractions during Singlehood or else you choose to allow the distraction of the world to affect you. But when you marry, you don't own yourself again. You can't take decisions on your own. Before you take any decisions it must be negotiated between you and your spouse. Distraction of the family can't allow you to do so many things, distractions from children and other family things.
• What have you achieved being single?
Or your single stage was used to cheese men and play slay queen. You use singlehood to play amigbo and that's why you are crying heart breaks every day. Why can't your heart broken when you bend it over for everyone to climb on top. Why can't your heart broken when you fail to develop yourself? Why can't your heart broken When you spend all your Singlehood time with a Man that don't have future with you. Spending your precious time in a man's house sleeping around with a man You don't know where he's coming from because he told you I will marry you.
Who told you that I will has become.
Common laddies woke up. I repeat, anything you fail to achieve in your Singlehood it only takes the help of God to achieve it in marriage. That's why you don't have to waist your Singlehood stage pushing things that's not necessary
• Who told you that as a single lady that you can't own a company, house or car?
It's not a sin for a single lady to her own house and make her own money legally not illegally. you are crying marriage marriage, What do you have that will unleash you into marriage, What do you have what you will use to build a home. Can you remember your single tomorrow and be happy of what you achieved.
• Will you remember your single and thank God for passing through Singlehood? Why all these pressure?
What have you achieve that you will use and enter into marriage. Don't you really know that marriage is a ministry, what are you going to minister in that ministry that God is about to commission unto your hands?
What are you really going to minister in that ministry called marriage????
Hmmmmm frank again right, but we can't stop telling you the, it's better to hurt you with the truth than comfort you with lies....
• Do you really know the meaning of the word single??
S= sincerit's, spiritual, self-dependant
I= inspiring
N= Nation
G= God
L= Leader
E= exceptional, extraordinary
Don't worry we are going to take it one after the other.
• S= As a single, are you really sincer to yourself? Are you spiritual?
As a single, you must be sincer to yourself, be spiritual and self-dependant. For bible said in book of Ecclesiastes 12:1
[1]Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them; Ezekiel 16:60 [60]Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.. If you can't serve God now you are single is it when you will have a lot of excuse that will serve God? It's your youthful service to God that will provoke God to enter a covenant of glorious future with you. Singlehood is the stage of self-dependant, if you can't learn how to depend on yourself during your singleness, you will really have a problem in marriage. If you don't learn how to believe on yourself while single, there's a problem in your future. If can't develop self dependent during your singleness it will affect your self esteem.
• I= inspiring.
Are you really inspiring? Can you inspire yourself, if you can't inspire yourself, no one will do that(inspire you). It's your self motivation that will attract the motivation of others to you. If you can't inspire yourself when you are single, in marriage you can't be inspired, nothing in that marriage will inspire you and when nothing inspires you in marriage, problem they. That marriage has only one leg. Because in marriage you will encounter so many things that will discourage but through self motivation, you will be able to overcome it. Be self Inspiring before being inspired by others.
• N= Nation.
You are a Nation. Every person is a nation. From the day you discover that one mistake you made today will affect generation in nearest future the day you become yourself. In the book of Genesis 17:20, [20]And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. Genesis 18:18, [18]Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?. Genesis 21:18, [18]Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation. Genesis 46:3,
[3]And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:
And many more....You are a nation through you shall all other nations be blessed. Beloved know from today that you are a nation.
Can a nation run after man? Why are you running after people? Develop yourself and accommodate others.
• G= God.
Know you that you are a god, we are god over other gods. Lord is the greatest God who made us in his own image and likeness according to the book of Genesis 1:26, [26]And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Lord is greatest God while we are gods after our maker. Know that you are a god. Even In the judiciary, lawyers are addressed as my lord and many other examples. Know that you are a god. From the day you know that you are a god you become yourself
• L= Leader.
You're a great leader, it's through your Singlehood that you will learn your leadership. No leader was born as a leader but was made. all the great people God used in the bible he choose them during their youthful age where they have all the strength that will carry them to do an exploit. Are you really leading others to the right place/ direction or to the wrong part or wrong direction?
How are you leading your lead? Are people proud of your leading? David was one example, Joseph and many more. If you can't lead yourself, you can't lead others. Leadership start self leading. Can you trust yourself? Do you really have leadership potentials and qualities? Are you truthful to yourself, are you accountable? Are you dependant? Etc. Are you really a leader of your own self. Are you self discipline?. Can you control your emotions?. Can you speak to yourself without compromising?
• E= Exceptional.
You are an exceptional being. In the book of 1 Peter 2:9, [9]But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: you're a choosing generation, a royal priesthood, an Holy nation, a peculiar people only you... haba, you are unique, extraordinary. since you know who you are, why then are you woring and disturbing yourself over nothing, cheesing people that supposed to come to your help.
Common, we have to woke up. Holy Spirit is here right now, moving around. Am seeing him healing some heart, marriages. Am seeing them changing someone low self esteem and perspectives. Are you ready to receive your own. There's a shifting in the mind tonight. Take your own right now in Jesus name.. What am seeing right now is beyond explanation, there's will a lot of mental healing tonight. If you are ready, I want you to connect, connect.... I have to leave you here so that the Holy Spirit will finish the remaining work... But pray right now and ask Holy Spirit to take over you tonight...Ask yourself this question right now as a married person, what did I achieved during my Singlehood?
What can my single teach others. Think about it tonight. As a single, am I really enjoying my Singlehood, if no, then why?
Can your Singlehood be a blessing to others? May God bless is wonderful word..
Please prepare your question. If you have you can drop it and i will answer. God bless you all. Thank you the host for the opportunity given to me.
