First reason why they're cowards, being the obvious reason:

Not letting Sherlock and John get together. COWARDS. So many adaptions and only, like, one that I know of let them be together??? (That being this amazing short film I watch ten times a day) And it would be different if they let their relationship just be and let them be platonic while still letting them have that familiar depth like in Sherlock & co., but NO, shows like Sherlock BBC and The Irregulars tease and queerbait to hell and back, and even make the one of them queer and in LOVE with the other (like in The Irregulars, John is in love with Sherlock but as far as I know, doesn't tell him because he's unstable or smt idfk) but they don't get together for one convoluted reason or another. It's frustrating as hell because it's not like there was no substance between the two in ACD/Original canon, it's not like the TJLC invented it bc of Sherlock BBC or the RDJ Adaption, no, their relationship was so deep and so real and so beautiful in ACD canon and if there is gonna be an adaption where their relationship stays the same, that's fine, perfect even, but NO, they add extra bullshit that make you think there might be something and then give unreasonable reasons why they can't be together, making you feel like YOUR the weird one for seeing something that wasn't there apparently.

Reason number two why I find most of these adaptions cowards:

For some reason, every single adaption (except for my love, Granada<3) they fuck her up. Like. ACD Irene Adler vs BBC, RDJ, Enola, ect. Irene Adler are not the same Irene Adler. Who is she????? Because the Irene Adler I heard in The Scandal In Bohemia, was an upper class woman who had an affair with the king of [Forgor lol] and kept the photo of them together as collateral when he ditched her and tried to get married to a princess.

The Irene in these adaptions??? She's a trickster, a Dominatrix, an Assassin, the Lover of Moriarty, and INSANELY IN LOVE WITH SHERLOCK HOLMES. what the FUCK

Like. Please please please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but is there another Irene Adler in the ACD canon??? Who is all these things?? Because when I watched Granada, when I read the story, and now listening to the audiobook (which, off-topic, found a playlist of free audiobooks of all the short stories on YouTube with a fantastic narrator here) The Woman described in these stories, yes can be secretive and sneaky, but was NEVER fucking like RDJ or BBC's level of Irene Adler. It kinda feels like they just picked whatever character they wanted to make a Pandora out of (which is doubly weird that BBC made Mary Morstan like that when they had Irene but I barely acknowledged post season two canon outside of @gaylilsherlock 's fantastic fics, plus they almost completely left ACD canon after Reichenbach which I don't really mind, but post-reichenbach is a whole other post) instead of making their own character. So I find them cowardly for a) not making Irene at least semi-accurate to the canon besides a tiny photo (even tho canon photo was a FUCKING CANVAS- okay I'll stop) and b) not making up a new fleshed out character of her own to be a secret spy.

And uhhhh I can't think of anything else rn. Yeah:D I would complain about Sherlock & Co. But because it's not finished yet and I like how they're treating Sherlock and John's relationship and also them as their own individual characters I don't have too much to complain about, and I would complain about Irregulars but I could not get past the first five episodes. I just couldn't get into it. It kinda felt like they made a whole story that just so happened to have Sherlock Holmes characters in it. Idk tho.

Day 2

First, thank you for the people who “hearted” and responded to my “I’m back on tumblr” post. Feeling the love already and happy to see it still exists here! 💛

Secondly, today has been so busy at work that I haven’t had a chance to post yet and I really don’t want to let this fall off again. I want to stick to it for the accountability and the releases of all the thoughts of Michelle….well maybe most of them anyways. lol

So, this morning I did stop and get a Starbucks coffee (coffee will never be off limit to my trying to eat more from home - tho I don’t exclusively buy it). However I did cave and buy some egg white bites for breakfast. Personally, I would like to blame Mother Nature for starting the day after I decided to start this weight loss/eat healthy journey. What a time to come in! But really it’s egg white bites - could have been worse and it’s Day 2 - so owning it and moving on.

I would also like to give another shout out to the best husband ever @hrstories1234 who packed my lunch/snacks this morning (on his day off) because I was too tired to do it last night. Swear I am going to work on that!

Here is what I have eaten so far (obligatory photos at the bottom 😜)

Breakfast: SB coffee (Pecan Crunch Oat milk Latte) & egg white bites

Snack: Blueberry overnight oats and SWEET NOTE FROM HUBBY!

Lunch: Lean Cuisine cheese pizza and avocado salad, coke (maybe didn’t need that coke but I was crashing)

So far today is going well - except my water intake has been zip. Goal is to down at least three bottles by the end of the day.

We are planning to make spaghetti for dinner with a salad. So I set myself a goal to be aware of my spaghetti portion - cause I could go to town if I don’t think about it.

Hi hello! Tis I, the 𓆣 anon back from the grave!! Yes yes, rejoice. I haven't the slightest clue if you're still writing for my dearest pookie-poo Death the Kid, but if you are, I have another idea to offer up! A new meal to dish up thanks to the ingredient of newly acquired trauma steamed in a pot of agony and guilt or whatever, I call it character development💅

Consider this if you will, Kid with a ball of anxiety so bad that makes his tantrums over symmetry look completely normal. Just an absolutely traumatized, scared poopless ball of sheer terror. Like Crona, but dialed up to an 11 on a scale of 1-10. I'm thinking maybe they're paranoid, especially when it comes to reoccurring patterns. (Think what others consider coincidences, for example if I punch guy A), guy B) feels pain in his arm. And this keeps happening everytime I punch guy A), so on so forth.) Maybe throw in a couple dead friends in there too, and some abandonment issues to add some more pop to the taste. And to finish it off, sprinkle some crippling social anxiety on top!

Bonus points if they're selectively mute or have a really weird niche interest that Kid meticulously educates himself on so he can understand all the details. (He's such a good boyfriend GRRRRRR💛💛💛)

Anyways, as always, drink good water and eat good food if you can. And treat yourself to a cookie if available! - 𓆣

Author's note: this is a theme in my life, where I disappear for a certain amount of time and then appear again as if nothing. And well, since I now have decided to edit my Naruko fanfic and add more parts to it I said why not and come here to do some asks. Headcanons is the only thing that I could come up now, sorry. I hope your vacations started well, mine are okay. Do any of you know any lore about that red main guy from hazbin hotel? I'm making a drawing for my friend of this character (for the new year) and idk shit about this character except for his visual and that he's one of the main casts (he also has an hotel? I think). Help is much needed. Hope you enjoy the reading, more under the cut.

× | This talk doesn't resolve their mental health problems, but it does let some things clear

× | Kid starts talking with them in more situation, after which they become friends

× | One afternoon, as they're talking about while drinking tea (or whatever else) Kid mentions something slightly related to their interest and they just started talking and talking about it

× | Kid just let's them, one, because he's surprised, two because why not

× | Again, when they snap out of it, they start panicking and apologizing

× | Kid calm them down and says it's alright and that he wants to hear them talk about it more, if they want to

× | They're very happy about it and continue telling him about this interest

× | After quite some time, they start dating

× | And as they start opening up more and more to Kid, he realizes just how bad their life has been

× | Which is why he treats them as best as possible

× | The joke about his tantrums looking normal compared to their panick attacks is common between his friends

× | Until he, or Maka, tells everyone off

× | He'll be very caring as a boyfriend, I think

× | Though he's still very private

× | Just as they open up to him, he also opens up to them

Okay so I got a lil theory I wanted to share :p

I'm not sure if they covered this in the game or not but yk how Satan said that just because they're in an order now doesn't mean that was the order they were born in? Okay so I kina have a theory (not necessarily backed up by evidence) of the actual "birth" order of the bros. (This is based off of personality, interactions and my delusions)

Lucifer - First born - We know this for a fact that Luci is and has always been the oldest

Beelzebub - Second born - His whole demeanor just screams big brother. It seems like Beel still has his big bro tendencies when he's in the Devildom. And the way he stands up to Luci at times feels like he's closer in age to Luci than the others

Belphegor - Third born - Well since he's Beel's younger twin this is his logical place (that's it, I have no other reason skdjdbdj)

Mammon - Fourth born - Okay Mamms just has middle child energy. Like everyone picks on him, Luci uses him as a punching bag. Classic middle child

Leviathan - Fifth born - I was trying to figure out who had more intense middle child energy and Mamms won that battle so Levi gets this spot sorry Levi :(

Asmodeus - Sixth born - Asmo has baby energy. I honestly think that he got so much self confidence from the entire family doting on him as a baby angel and he just kept that energy.

Satan - Seventh born - Okay this one is cannon so it's self explanatory (the idea of Luci just poppin out a whole ass demon is still so fuckin hilarious to me lmao)

Now I think it was confirmed in nightbringer that basically their ‘birth order’ is the same- Lucifer, Mammon, Levi, etc- with the exception being Satan‘s body only manifested after the fall, but in the OG game Satan says he has clear memories of Asmo and the twins growing up even if he wasn’t there physically.

Tho honestly I think that’s a little boring when the devs could’ve switched it up a bit, making their order different would’ve been better, because it’s another thing that changed when they fell.

"Skinny-dipping" However unconvincing it might sound, a peace treaty with an adversary nation only meant more missions.

"Sleepover" “I beat you again, Kakashi!” It was a new feeling - losing to Obito. Strangely satisfying, disarming even.

"A Birthday Card" "Kakashi, honey, are you in there?" She knocked on the door again, but all her efforts to engage the nine-year-old's attention were met with stoic silence.

"Not in a Lifetime" Obito has never been on good terms with Might Gai (Always-Over-Doing-It Gai was more of a suitable name for him).

"Calm the Storm within Me" The cabin where they had been stationed for almost a year was tiny, but they managed to give each other space and co-exist peacefully.

"My Favorite Cupcake" “Are you sure I’m invited?” Obito was walking next to Kakashi down a busy street of Konoha, gloved hands in pockets for extra warmth.

"Lost and Found" The Foundation corridors were never meant to be navigated easily.

"Bedtime Story" Obito is fighting a lot of demons because all those voices and urges can’t disappear without a trace all at once. He needs support, he needs someone to believe in him. Kakashi gives him that.

Yes, opening with direct speech is apparently my weapon of choice. I love it when a character welcomes the reader right away. It's supposed to feel like you've been dissociating for a moment there, and the character's voice has woken you up, and now you're in my fantasy hehe. (i think i like the last two too)

(guys sorry the wedding is short one that only contains the two main rituals I had planned I'll show another wedding but this time I am going to do it after the titan squad)

The shirai ryu garden had been decorated thanks to the help of bi-han and sareena the wedding only had little guests which were basically family.

Lisa, scorpion harumi, Hatsune, Tomas , bi-han, sareena, sbKenshi and simone.

The guest list was changed as kuai Liang didn't want a big wedding plus it would be safe to have a small wedding just between the family.

The one who initiated the wedding was none other than the wind god fujin who had just came back from his day off and was happy to initiate the wedding between Hanzo and kuai.

The family was present fujin stood at the pedestal while hanzo stood in front of him on his left wearing the monstuki Haori hakama (the groom's wedding robe in Japan) while Hatsune stood beside hanzo "you look good brother" Hatsune said to hanzo "thank you Hatsune" hanzo said to kuai liang "thanks for coming on such short notice" Hatsune said to fujin "it's no problem officiating gay weddings is my side job" fujin said to Hatsune "alright-" "Hatsune it's time for the bride to come" sbkenshi said to Hatsune "okay , good luck" Hatsune said to hanzo before going.

Kuai had entered the ceremony area wearing the shiromuku Hanzo was in disbelief kuai looked really beautiful and the fact which was more unbelievable to him was that he was officially going to get married to that man.

Bi-han cried slightly seeing his little brother finally getting married "awe your crying-" "he is getting married to my mortal enemy of course I am crying" bi-han said to Lisa sareena handed bi-han a tissue "what will you do without me" sareena said to bi-han "you guys are next" Hatsune said to bi-han and Sareena she was also crying "now why on earth are you crying-" "these are tears of joy my two most favourite people are getting married to each other" Hatsune said before looking at the bride and groom.

As the ceremony began with the purification and then drinking the sake lastly with the branch offering to the Shinto deity which in this case fujin and raiden.

"now we have two additional ceremonies remaining, Hatsune will you do the honours" fujin said Hatsune stood up she has the tray with an old kunai wrapped in a ceremonial thread and a small cup "this is the shirai ryu blood binding ceremony, this will bind your bloods and declare kuai Liang as the grand mistress of our clan." Hatsune said to them Hatsune gave fujin the knife.

"hanzo hasashi as grandmaster of the clan will you respect, love and cherish the kuai Liang accepting him as your husband and the grand mistress of the clan?" Fujin asked Hanzo "I do" hanzo said his eyes on kuai Liang "kuai Liang will you hold the duties of the grand mistress of the clan and love , cherish and respect the grandmaster?" Fujin asked kuai Liang "I do" kuai Liang said "as the will of the fire God kagutsuchi you must take the ceremonial kunai and drew blood in the ceremonial cup" fujin said to hanzo "the grandmaster goes first" fujin said giving hanzo the kunai.

"wait why kagutsuchi tho and not amaterasu?" Lisa asked Hatsune "the fire God kagutsuchi is the one who created the ritual in ancient times he was the god of fire most people thought his ritual didn't make sense except for the first shirai ryu grandmaster. The shirai ryu were the only clan that continued it hence it is now known as the shirai ryu blood ritual" Hatsune said to Lisa.

Hanzo took the ceremonial kunai and cut the palm of his hand the blood dropped into the cup filling a quarter of it "now the grand mistress" fujin said hanzo gave the kunai to kuai liang who did the same ones the cuo was filled by both of their blood fujin raised the cup "you both must drink the cup with each other's blood to finish the ritual" fujin said.

"is this necessary?" Lisa asked Hatsune "yes" Hatsune said

After the blood ritual ended with them drinking from the cup first hanzo and then kuai "now the scorpion medallion" fujin said Hatsune had stood up again with the scorpion medallion in the ceremonial tray "welcome to the clan" Hatsune said "the family of the groom must place the scorpion medallion on the neck" fujin said "Hatsune, kenshi" Hanzo said sbkenshi stood up and went to Hatsune both of them put the medallion on kuai liang's neck "congratulations dad" kenshi said to kuai liang while simone cooed having tears "i guess Simone is emotional" Hatsune said.

Hatsune and sbkenshi went back to their seats "i believe we have a last ritual by the lin kuei" fujin said "actually my brother bi-han is going to represent" Lisa said bi-han was shocked and stood up Lisa handed him the tray with the ceremonial dragon ribbon.

"the lin kuei has traditions of their own and one of them is the ancient soul bound ritual used to build trust and empathy uniting two souls destined to be together" bi-han said "as grand master will you initiate the ritual?" Fujin asked bi-han gladly accepted.

Fujin stepped away from the pedestal as bi-han stood on it "as the grandmaster i would Like my brother in law to hold one end of the ribbon while my brother helds the other end" bi-han said Hanzo held one end while kuai Liang held the other end of the ribbon.

"hanzo will you accept the soul bound , uniting you and kuai Liang for all your mortal lives?" Bi-han asked "I accept" hanzo said without hesitation "kuai Liang will you accept the soul bound uniting you and hanzo for all your mortal lives?" Bi-han asked "i accept" kuai Liang said the dragon string glowed creating a blue string on both of their index finger "the dragon accepts your unity and love for each other" bi-han said "wait shouldn't we have prayed to the gods?" Tomas asked "I think the god must have noticed who's marriage is being initiated" kenshi said to Tomas.

"as the rituals have been done the vows and promises have been made you may kiss the bride" fujin said hanzo pulled kuai into a kiss the string had disappeared causing a blue ring to form on their finger.

Bi-han immediately cried Hatsune had to go and grab bi-han's face "pull yourself together save the crying for the reception" Hatsune said to bi-han "that's my little brother" bi-han said "there, there big guy" Hatsune said patting bi-han on the back.

Both of them pulled away from the kiss "okay who's ready for the reception?" Lisa said wiping her tears.

Kuai Liang was thankful the hood was a bit heavy to deal with and his outer robes were switched with a uchitake both him and hanzo were seated on the stage as the guests were also seated.

"okay as per tradition each member here has to make a toast to the bride and groom starting with the family, bi-han why don't you start" Hatsune said bi-han nodded "congratulations to kuai and hanzo may they live a happy married life. I admit at first i hated hanzo and I still do but for my brother's happiness i accepted his proposal even if he did kill me. But now I realise that people can make mistakes which weren't easily accepted by the lin kuei and i hope you treat him better than that clan ever treated him." Bi-han said "anyone else?" Hatsune asked Tomas stood up "a toast to kuai liang and hanzo I am grateful for kuai to have a lover like hanzo. After all he sacrificed for he deserves to be happy and safe." Tomas said.

"okay Lisa?" Hatsune asked Lisa "i would like to say that I am happy for kuai Liang and hanzo I am glad he has someone to trust and someone who would watch out for him and look after him. I hope your marriage would be magical just like your love is" Lisa said she was slightly crying "kenshi?" Hatsune asked sb kenshi stood up "i would like to say thank you to kuai liang for always taking care of me since I got in this dimension and hanzo for accepting me as his son. The wedding was really beautiful and the hanzo and kuai from my time line send their congratulats. I was happy when i found out you two were getting married and that i would be included. I am thankful that from every person in the universe you two got to be my parents" sb kenshi said Hatsune wiped tears from her eyes "scorpion harumi would you like to go?" Hatsune asked.

"I was happy to see Hanzo alive and that liu Kang had completed his promise but that time i had already met my snow drop who gave filled my void of loneliness" scorpion harumi said Lisa was in awe "and kuai Liang you are lucky to have hanzo as your husband and he is lucky to have you as his wife you two are souls destined to be together" harumi said.

"sareena?" Hatsune said "personally I don't know you guys very well but from what everyone here told me about you guys i believe that your marriage is going to be a happy one." Sareena said "okay Hatsune" Tomas said "I would like to say a lot of things but the only thing I want to say right now is thank you for being there for me and help me through my tough times and at first i thought hanzo wouldn't have the guts to propose now he's here happily married and i couldn't be happier" Hatsune said having slight tears in her eyes "you alright?" Bi-han asked Hatsune "i am fine" Hatsune said wiping her tears.

"thank you all for the work you guys put in" kuai Liang said "yea we just hope we don't have to do another wedding this one was a lot of work" Hatsune said to kuai liang.

Day after tomorrow

Hatsune had went back to the monastery she went to the backyard to see Kung lao "lao!!" Hatsune said kung lao went to Hatsune and hugged her she hugged him back he kissed her cheek causing her to blush "hey how was the wedding?" Kung lao "it was really good but still feeling bad we had to cut the list short" Hatsune said to kung lao "hey it's alright kuai Liang wanted to a really small family wedding and I am glad you enjoyed it" kung lao said to Hatsune she smiled at him.

"KUAI LIANG AND HANZO HASASHI GOT MARRIED AND I WASN'T INVITED!?" the couple looked to see Johnny Cage who stood there shocked "oh no" Hatsune and kung lao said together.

You can have any weddings you want but if you're friends with Johnny Cage and not invite him to the wedding it's going to be a big problem.
