EN After Harrison and Emiljan met first on an excavtion, where Jani was Harrys guide, they had good vibes together and felt as if they know each other for long years, so they got friends in that days out there. Now some month later Harrison is entering the house Jani inherited from his grandfather and which he renovated with the share of a treasure he found. Harry was a helpful hand last weeks and  now entering the house. He had expected Jani will welcome him, but the door stood open and there was nothing to see from his friend, but a very sharp smell of smoke reached his nose, so he hurried up to search for Jani. DE Nachdem Harrison und Emilijan sich auf einer Ausgrabungsexpeditiion kennengelernt haben, bei der Emilijan die Führung hatte und sie sich so gut verstanden haben, dass beide das Gefühl hatten sie kennen sich seit Jahren, enstand schnell eine Freundschaft. Jetzt einige Monate später betritt Harrison dass Haus, welches Emilijan von seinem Großvater geerbt hat und mit dem Anteil aus dem Fund eines Schatzes renovierte. Harry wr ihm dabei oft eine helfende Hand und hatte eigentlich erwartet das Jani ihn begrüßen würde, aber die Tür steht offen und von Jani ist weit und breit nichts zu sehen, dafür steigt ihm ein scharfer Geruch nach Rauch in die Nase - schnell macht er sich auf die Suche nach seinem Freund.

EN Jani had just had a bit stress caused by a kitchen fire while he wanted to prepare a little snack for his old friend to say a heartly welcome and now the door bell rings already, he hopes the door is still open, he didn’t close it. DE Jani hat gerade echt Stress, er wollte einen kleinen Imbiss vorbereiten um seinen alten Freud zu begrüßen, dabei ist leider ein Feuer ausgebrochen und jetzt klingelt es auch schon, hoffentlich ist die Tür noch offen und Harry kommt alleine rein.

EN After the situation calmed down a bit, Jani showed Harry the common rooms on the first floor. Harry was here before to help him a bit and this was the point to decide to move in, but Harry didn’t saw it finally ready, he is very pleased. DE Nachden sich die Aufregung etwas gelegt hat zeigt Jani Harry erstmal die Gemeinschaftsräume im Erdgeschoss. Harry war zwar bereits hier und hat Jani geholfen, dabei enstand auch die Idee ebenfalls hier einzuziehen, aber er hat das Haus noch nicht im ganz fertigen Zustand gesehen und er ist begeistert.

EN Jani is currently really tired from this accident in the kitchten, so Harry suggested he should sleep a bit while he is looking around a bit by himself. DE Jani ist ganz schön geschafft von der ganzen Aufregung durch den Vorfall in der Küche, darum schlägt Harry ihm vor sich etwas hinzulegen, er könne sich auch in Ruhe alleine im Haus umschauen.

EN Just after that stressing move-in day and the look around Harry checked his mails and informed his related that everything is good ... DE Nach dem stressigen Tag und seinem Rundgang durch das Haus checkt Harry erstmal seine E-Mails und schreibt seiner Familie eine Nachricht dass er gut angekommen ist ...

EN There is one thing Harry is really excited about and this is this modern WC, while Jani is sleepig he need someone to talk to and gave it a try, he was very amused by that. (I had to change that WC, cause he was always talking with it *lol*) DE Da gibt es doch tatsächlich so eine furchtbar moderne Toilette im Haus, Harry ist total fasziniert und macht sich einen Spaß damit als er das Bedürfnis hat mit jemandem zu reden, da Jani ja noch schläft (ich musste das WC austauschen, weil Harry ständig da runter gegangen ist um sich mit ihm zu unterhalten)).

With some curious onlookers and some help from Hills X Excavtions , site clearing has been done at Glenorie and trenching / piering completed.

The NuVision team have installed all the reinforcement steel ready for concrete.

After struggling on figuring out on stuff to make (Still struggling), I’ve decided to do a Precedent research. 

Daniel Arsham, He is an american artist who is famously known for his excavating techniques. I was inspired by how he uses this technique to showcase the time and relationship between the sculptures he had done. By doing so, excavting sculputres makes these “decaying” effect which could translate to people as if its getting old and rotting away, but it could also mean that its evolving, growing and merging between the materials.

I wanted to do something similiar, something that we sort of ignore within our day to day basis. I could try to use the idea of is it decaying or growing? As i wanted to play with lighting also, i thought of what if the light penetrates throught the excavation and forming some kind of “path” on the ground.
