#tbt to my 2014 "Birthday on Broadway" celebration. I swear this video brings a smile to my face every time I see it. It shows my personality perfectly. I was so happy in this video because I was surrounded by loved ones, just finished watching Keke Palmer play Cinderella on broadway, I've been living on my own for 2 months (anyone with lupus knows that was a huge f*#king deal), and I was feeling like me again. #tbt to 2013/2014 when I decided that living in fear was not the way I wanted to live my life. I started to be more mindful of how I thought about myself living with lupus. To be totally honest with you, at the time I didn't realize I was using a powerful tool. All I knew was something in my life had to change.
