Solar flares scorch the earth, trapping stragglers within their homes. As the government scrambles to find a solution, monsters that look just like humans—dubbed "visitors"—escape the ground, killing survivors in the safety of night, posing as humans looking for shelter to avoid the daylight. Living on the outskirts, Junghyun's been alone for as long as he can remember, with the exception of his neighbors Jihoo and Seobin. But in this new world, loneliness is death, and if Junghyun's to survive, he'll have to let in some of the stragglers from the city—whether that'd be human or visitor both.
