This was a prize-drawing for a long-time DeviantArt friend. He wanted Fallen Gods and general mayhem, featuring his Predator character. So, there we go. ...I really need to return to this theme. Fallen Gods are such fun.

Okay, but honestly...

You know what bothers me right now? Since I am recently writing a lot more stories set in the DnD world, I really gotta struggle with the "evil gods" and their cults. Because I will always ask: "Who the fuck are those people praying to the god of murder?!"´

Just looking at the Dead Three there is already the issue. Sure, I absolutely can see who is going to pray to Bane, god of tyranny. Because... I mean, there are enough people who want a "strong man" to lead them. Like, those mindless drones voting for Trump and such. So, yeah, if there is a god promising those people: "I'm gonna give you a strong leader!" Sure, they are on board with it.

Myrkul as well. Like, I absolutely can see how someone grieving a death or something like that can fall for the evil death god, promising folks ressurection, if they are good in following him. Whatever. I can see that.

But Bhaal? Sure, there are going to be a handful of murder hobos who think that is totally their religion. But... That is barely gonna be enough for a coven, let alone a full on cult.

And some of the other evil gods are much like that. Like, who the hell are the people praying to the goddess of poison? And while it is totally possible to worldbuild Loviatar in a way that people actually would think that is a good idea... The canon worldbuilding definitely isn't it, buddy.

The fact that a lot of the evil gods are also way less world built than the good and neutral gods does not help. It is very clear from what is written that the idea was basically always that the players will pray to the good and neutral gods, while the evil gods mostly exist as a vague backdrop for possible BBEGs.

And boy... It is frustrating.

What kind of unfortunate circumstances has put you down on your knees time and time again?

For what conceivable reason is your imprisionment considered justified?

Bound to a cell of shame and misery.... shackled by those who deemed themselves more worthy of success.

*Ahem* Sorry, I got a little excited there. Anyway, what is up with really cool boss monsters and characters with op powers never allowed to showcase what they can do? Is a world ending monster not entitled to the sweat of its villainous brow?

Always beaten by plot armor every single time... oh what a shame. Just wish this thing was allowed to shine as a threat more. Every single time this beautiful abomination is defeated without showing what it can do. Very frustrating....

Okay here we go again with a silly brainriot of mine that i will maybe do it (or not) because i'm in "I need a vilain with a soft spot for somebody" again and i will fucking talk about it !! - Listen up, listen up imagine a ancient deity (evil or at least morally questionnable) who everyone forget or still adorerd. - Then boom another boring ceremony for them with all the stuff and they see they're soulmate (i will developp for the romantic side or the platonic don't worry) - It could be anything, they could closed they're eyes again but nope, not this time - The soulmate ? Absolutely scared cause they know they will be offered but when they're blood flood, something happend - The divinity is here and say "Hush my dear, it's finished nobody will hurt you, it's okay, i'm here now" - (Platonic) If they stay friend i see it very affectionate, yes sometime i see "But why do you still keep this way ?" "Because it's funny 💀💀" and yeah, they sometime don't understand the divinity brain but hey - (Platonic) I even an alternative when it's kinda Parent-Child relationships wich make the divinity 100% OVERprotectiv and worst with other's and try (but struggle for real) to raise a kid and try to not make them like they are (and it can be 50/50) - (Romanticly) It doesn't change that MUCH, the overprotectivness, the "It's just a normal day" "No it's not 😒😒" and still have the moment, but a thing is sure, absolutetly soft with each other - And plus one if the divinity is an absolute eldrich abomination who just took a human apparance - BYE AND THANK FOR THE SILLY BRAINRIOT
