Duke knows there’s trouble coming when Evi appears on his deck. He’s making coffee in the galley when he glances up and sees his ex-wife step on board his boat. You’re sitting in your usual chair on the deck, wearing nothing but his shirt and a pair of his boots, the latest Stephen King novel clasped between your hands.

He hasn’t told you that he’s married, honestly it’s slipped his mind. Him and Evi haven’t been together in years, she doesn’t exist in his day to day. By the time he gets out of galley you’re already striding down the gangplank, book tucked under your arm, car keys in hand.

“You need to stay away from her.” Evi informs him when he tries to follow you, her hand fastening on his arm. “Being with her, it’s dangerous for you.”

Duke has an iguana??? Since when

There's that one episode where he puts the little silver Crocker box under the blue light and sees it glow with the word 'Crocker'. Evi leaves him a note telling him to put the box under the iguana tank light.

I thought there was no mention of it after that episode, so it's nice to see they kept the tank around through the seasons. I'm not sure there was ever an actual iguana on set though

a trouble that duke has to release in season 6-ish that temporarily brings the dead back to life, weather that be in a physical form or a ghost form or a hallucination form, and audrey and nathan go and check on duke at the gull or the rogue and they find him being bothered by jennifer, wade and simon crocker

So 2x12 if it took place in a later season? I feel like if the dead came back to life, Duke would probably be haunted by the Rev or Evi more than anyone else. Jennifer would be a welcome presence (though Duke would feel incredibly guilty), Wade would probably fuck right off, and Simon... would also probably fuck right off unless and until Duke sought him out for whatever plot device he needed

In which Chris Brody deals with a terrible date, Audrey deals with dangerous plant life, Nathan deals with Vince & Dave and their broken-down camper van, and Duke & Evi look for information on the silver box.

She wakes in a hospital, aching to her bones, jerking so suddenly that she does not notice the hand curled around hers until it is too late; Duke's eyes shoot open, and he manages-barely-to keep from falling completely off-balance.

"Duke... You're alive," she breathes, staring at him in awe, horrifying images of Wade Crocker, a monster who called himself Croatoan, and Duke sacrificing himself for Haven still lingering desperately in her mind.

He looks at her like he isn't altogether sure she hasn't lost her mind. "Yeah, well, you're the one who just got shot," he mutters, and beautiful realization dawns: Everything after that was just a dream.
