AI WEIWEI - EVERYTHING IS ART

„Everything is art. Everything is politics“ so brachte der international anerkannte Gegenwartskünstler Ai Weiwei das Grundprinzip seiner Arbeitsweise auf den Punkt. „Alles ist Kunst, alles ist Politik“ ist auch das Leitmotiv der umfangreichen Ausstellung der Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen. Hier wird anschaulich die enge Verzahnung von politischem Engagement und künstlerischer Arbeit von Ai Weiwei deutlich. Erstmals in Europa zu sehen ist die Installation „Life Cycle“, eine, 17 Meter lange, fragile Skulptur aus Bambus, welche ein mit Menschen besetztes Flüchtlingsboot darstellt.

"Is everything political?"

Most of the people are confused, curious, questioning, debating, this phrase "Is everything is political?". Just like the other people, I also questioned myself why everything is political. Politics have a lot of meanings. It can be about the government, how society works, how the government gains power, how a person should make a decision, how the people should follow the rules in the society, and how much power should the people have.

According to Skwarecki (2017), Everything is political, and it always has been. Politics is what the government does, and what opinions people have about what the government should do.

As Hanisch says, the personal is political. The women's personal problems were political because of gender inequality. She argued that the personal experiences of women can be traced to one’s location within a system of power relationships.

She added that "political" refers to any power relationships, not just those of government or elected officials. One example is the ability of people to afford health insurance and access care (or not) is considered political because it was shaped by the actions or inactions of a government. Also, if the student can't attend his/her, online class, because their internet is too weak is also political. That is a public issue which is the inaccessibility of students in education.

Is everything political? Yes. And it will never stop.

WHY?

Because politics dictate our life, what we can do and say. Everything that we do in our daily life is political. And all the things that we need are also political since we are part of society. Also, the things that we can't get or afford are affected by politics. Even our religion, the decision to get married is political. I realized that we can't separate politics from our life. Because of that, I definitely agree that everything is political. But some people don't understand and agree with why everything is political. They prefer to not talk and ignore this question. You can tell that our personal problem has a big impact in our society because everything is political. And we have to accept the fact that all things in our lives are politically connected and we can’t stop it.

Is everything political?

        Most of people, when they hear the word political the things that comes into their mind is Government or all about government only, but little we do not know that politics isn’t just all about government because everything is political, every action that we do is political and that is the truth. Even the simplest thing or smallest thing that we do is political. Why? Politics is the way that people living in groups make decisions. In everyday life, the term "politics" refers to the way that countries are governed, and to the ways that governments make rules and laws. As long as there is law everything that we do is political it is always connected to politics because we are governed by law. We tend to do things that we do not know that it is connected to politics, we as citizens and people of this country we should identify and know what are different types of political situations.

          Do you know that even the games is political? Yes. example of this is the Tetris, Tetris is a communism and other one is the game Pong, Pong is unity so there is a political in games of the games. Furthermore, according to the knowledge I got from course Political Government, when there is a group and there is a decision- making involved, then there’s is politics. It also means that everything thing that we do, every action we do and word we say is a political, everything is connected to political, even if the person just say that she/he doesn’t want to sleep is a political, why? because it serves your interest and choice. Even deciding if you wanna continue your life or not is a political because it involves choice. and your choice can affect other people that is why it is political. there is always a political choice. and in economics it is covered also of decision- making of an individual. politics is everywhere and we people don’t know that it is existing in every action that we do. People should always care and think about the politics because it is the thing that happens around us, and in making decision people should think also other people because your decision may sounds good but it is devastating other people. In every decision that we make can affect many people or their living so we should think wisely.

I’ve been thinking about (and drawing) my mother Helen and her father Charlie and considering how society evolves. He died in 1975 at age 95. She has out lived him now at 98. So from Charlie, who was in the Ku Klux Klan in 1920’s Oklahoma, to Helen, who never voted in her life, to me, who votes and who, at 57, finally challenges every instance of racism and political ignorance I encounter (I haven’t always done that). I promised myself that I would, and I owe it to America, and to Helen and Charlie, to continue doing so. Of course I’m just one branch of the family tree, and I didn’t have offspring but, overall, society has improved, a little. i realized that i know i have the capacity for leading,

as well as being ethically behaved when doing it;

but i also realized that i don’t like to do it alone,

i’ve already been a cheerleader in high school.

so the experience had showed me

that leadership can arrive in other combinations,

i prefer to lead if i know i have smn on my side whom i completely trust

and this person trusts on me.

but, as time is a social institution,

and if the answer is yes,
