sunday and robin are reincarnations of xipe.

for light years, there have been others before them that inhabited xipe’s will — to capture the souls of the weak and strong for her influence to conquer. 

but not all have been triumphant with this mission due to the fact that none of them recognize they are pieces of xipe with a goal to follow through. 

ena had been the one to dissolve xipe’s influence for eons, hence why there hasn’t been corruption to occur and why her reincarnations haven’t fulfilled their duty. it wasn’t until xipe finally snapped and swallowed ena, blocking her power from seeping through. but even with ena being consumed, aers ( aer/aers pronouns for ena )  powers are still awake within xipe, proving the whole “i’m not going down without a fight” and still doing what aer can to prevent xipe from bringing corruption. 

that’s when xipe though of a new plan — creating a shell/persona/clone of herself to walk amongst the mortals and that body she’s currently using is aglaea.

bare with me okay.

sunday and robin were born out of light like all the other reincarnations before them with no parents in sight. however, xipe in aglaea’s skin adopted the two and raised them, seemingly in a pretty normal way. however, it did not take long before she would start to brainwash them into unleashing their full potential in order to wrap penacony in a pretty little bow and absorb all of the souls’ essence. robin was the one with the most resistance against the corruption, “the broken wing” as aglaea would call her. robin was also the strongest between her and sunday, but she didn’t know that, so that’s why aglaea was so adamant to try to brainwash her first but to no prevail. 

so aglae turned her sights to sunday.

sunday was the weakest between the two and easiest to manipulate, aglaea using sunday’s love for robin as the motivator. it was then that aglaea was able to convince sunday to do whatever he must do to assure a long, happy, and fulfilling life for his sister. at first, sunday was hesitant but after seeing robin get hit with misfortune more than a couple of times, he knew he needed to take matters into his own hands.

and that’s where it all started.

with aglaea’s guidance, sunday was able to harvest  xipe’s divine powers and encapsulated everyone in penacony in an eternal slumber/illusion. it took a few years to get to that point, but eventually sunday was the mastermind behind the bubble that trapped the citizens of penacony, controlling them to an extent to make sure that robin’s dreams all come true. nearly everything they did was all for robin, ensuring her a safe and happy life, and none were the wiser as to why they looked up to robin so much just for being a popstar.

yes, even robin herself was caught in this mess, and she isn’t aware of it. 

you see, the memories of the people in penacony have been altered and some erased in order to fit into robin’s dream. whatever she wanted to see come to life, it will happen, and that meant the people around her would change personalities entirely if it meant to satisfy her desires. again, no one was aware this was happening to them, so no one really questioned anything and were ignorantly in bliss with the new life they were given to follow. 

the only ones unaffected were people outside of penacony such as any travelers from faraway lands or even penacony citizens that had left before the corruption. it would raise questions at times, especially those who knew of people before the corruption, but it was rare and few that it wasn’t really a problem. and if they did become a problem, sunday would handle the matters personally by straight up killing them because trying to trap them within the illusion he was already having a hard time keeping up for being the only one maintaining it was tedious work and dangerous as he didn’t want to risk releasing everyone accidentally. he opt to just alter the memories of those who knew the deceased person, and they would completely be forgotten forever.

as mentioned above, the illusion isn’t the strongest due to the fact that it was just sunday manipulating it on his lonesome and he was the weakest compared to robin who would’ve had less of a hard time. aglaea couldn’t assist much other than guide him because of the fact that her real self was busy doing aeon things — most importantly taking care of ena from doing something uncalled for. so because of this, there were instances were people would break free from the illusion and wake up and these people would try to find the bottom of this mess. but sunday had been able — for the most part — to regain control by recapturing their consciousness back into the illusion. it was easier than trying to chain up a soul that hadn’t initially been a part of it. 

aventurine was the one soul that managed to escape but i honestly hadn’t put much thought into his role in all this so we’ll leave it at that.

so everyone in penacony at the current time in rping sense is currently under a massive illusion all puppetered by sunday who is puppetered by aglaea. the trapped souls are slowly being drained of their essence in order to empower xipe and be able to overthrow ena at long last as well as conquering the other aeons. it is a tedious process, especially with ena still alive and kicking within xipe and blocking most souls from entering her being. 

and yeah that’s my condensed, heavy headcanon lore for sunday and robin blep.

He is so silly...I do love Dan Heng, he was actually my first main in HSR! I don't think I've posted much of him here though because I have literally no idea about any of the Xianzhou lore sldkjsdgsdg so bear with me lol.

I'm going to make a distinction between Dan Heng and Dan Feng here, as I think the two would have vastly different approaches to how they interact with a love interest. If we're talking about straight canon, the only thing that's changed is that Dan Heng is a yandere, then I think he's extremely subtle about it. First, because that's just his personality. Dan Heng isn't prone to histrionics; he's more practical. Second, because if he isn't, Himeko or Welt could notice, and then who knows what would happen. They might take you away from him, and he can't have that.

So he has to play it cool, keep his obsession undetectable. It shows up in small ways: how he always makes sure to be by your side during missions, even when the Trailblazer and March run off; how he lets you stay in his room whenever you'd like, even if it's just to hang out; how he holds your hand tightly whenever danger approaches, to the point where by now, your palm must be molded to the shape of his fingers. In a similar vein, he works to slowly mold your mind, doing his best to convince you that you can come to him with any problems or worries and he'll help you.

He starts making entries for you in the databank, chock full of your likes and dislikes, your habits, your routine, everything and anything. It's a strange hobby he almost seems to take pleasure in, compiling everything he knows about you. Anytime he learns something new, best believe he'll be heading off to his room to write it down and save it for later. Eventually, he starts using all of that information to his advantage: you like a certain scent? Soon enough, Dan Heng vaguely smells like it. You enjoy hugs? Dan Heng will awkwardly try to fold his arms around you back. You have a favorite food? Dan Heng makes it for you almost daily, until he's mastered it.

I will say he definitely struggles to fight against the draconic urge to hoard you away in his room. To try to tamp down that need, he develops a bad habit of stealing your belongings. Nothing big, just things you might not notice if they go missing. A piece of paper you scribble on, a pen cap that you chew on, a sock forgotten in the recesses of a dryer. He stows it away safely, somewhere nobody will ever find.

One day, he'll do the same with you. Only you'll come alone willingly.

I assume you mean aus for HSR specifically? I've got a lot more for genshin, but to stop myself from going on massive tangents, I'll just stick to HSR. I'll keep them all as summaries and go into more depth if there's any interest. Ok here we go:

Chimera Yanqing has kinda become my whole thing now, but I've never actually mentioned the other characters that I've also made chimera forms for. Namely Jing Yuan.

He doesn't really have any lore...? Unlike Yanqing, I was too focused on making him look pretty, which is easy because it's Jing Yuan. I'll make an update if I add anything more to his lore, cause I'd hate to just leave him unfinished forever. I do have a chimera Yunli au too, which I'll also save for another time. (Also keep in mind that he has wayyyy more fur than what I've shown. It just would've made his actual form unclear. He is very, very fluffy, canonically)

Mara-struck Yanqing (aka How the general ate the cabbage). Made a whole fic for this one, the plot is in the pudding, and by pudding I mean my ao3 lol. Instead of deflecting Jingliu's ult, Yanqing is instead killed and mara-stricken, and everything falls apart from there. Keeping it vague since it's still in progress. As of writing this, I'm three chapters in, so check it out if you're interested <3

Band au. I actually forgot about this one until I went through my list. Basically, It's a modern au where the high cloud quintet were a huge band back in ye olden days of the mid 1980s until their downfall, where the lead singer (Baiheng) is killed in an accident, triggering a series of unfortunate fates for 3 of the 4 remaining members. Jing Yuan is the only member still working in the industry and adopted Yanqing roughly 20 years after the the HCQ's fallout. One day, though, after years of no contact, Blade comes back into Jing Yuan's life, seeking refuge from law enforcement, and it all tumbles out of control from there after Jing Yuan accepts. The rest of the story would follow a very suspicious Yanqing wondering what the deal is with his dad's weird new boyfriend, and eventually reuniting the 4 remaining members (getting the band back together, as Phineas would say). There is SO much lore for this one, but it would take up this entire post to explain, so I'll probably just make it into its own post (with designs ofc). Tbh I haven't done as much work on this one as the others simply because I just don't know that much about music? Zel does though, so if I ever come back to it, I can go to him as a consultant.

Kind of an odd one, but I'm including it since it sorta counts, and I've become pretty fond of it over time. Mom Lumine au(s) Xiaother being Yanqing's dads is one of my favorite little crack aus. This au is the brainchild of imagining Yanqing as Lumine's child instead, but me as the author not enjoying xiaolumi as much. Thus, this was born. There's not really a story? Just a bunch of loosely put together concepts with multiple potential narratives that I find fun. Most of the time I default Childe as Yanqing's bio dad. In a weird way, it makes sense in my head? Yanqing resembles Lumine and uses a sword, and has that same go-getting, battle-hungry attitude as Childe, with all the knock-outs to boot. I mainly imagine chilumi as this interstellar crime duo; the Bonnie and Clyde of space, if you will. Because, honestly, if Yanqing's parents are ever to be revealed, would it not be the funniest thing for them to turn out to be criminals? I think it's hilarious, because Yanqing himself would be mortified.

Guardian Blade/Stellaron Hunter Yanqing au. These names are kinda lazy cause I usually don't make official titles for them unless their a fic, which this one happens to be. Here, Yanqing is an abomination of abundance, and as my interpretation usually goes, the only person who knows about this is Jing Yuan. Him and one other - blade, who was confided in the secret shortly after Jing Yuan had taken baby Yanqing in. Jing Yuan made Blade promise that, should the truth ever be uncovered and Jing Yuan punished, Blade is to take Yanqing and protect him. And years down the line, when the truth does finally reveal itself, Blade fulfills his promise. Theoretically, Yanqing would then join the stellaron hunters, albeit unenthusiastically. I haven't actually made any plans for that concept outside of a single one-shot. I still need to finish the actual fic first lmao.

Mara-struck Jing Yuan au. Probably the least original one I have to offer, because there's nothing particularly unique about it aside from one little twist I added that I think differentiates it, and that's that Yanqing doesn't actually kill Jing Yuan, or vice versa. Instead, Jing Yuan, in his current state, attacks everyone and everything except for Yanqing, and actually goes out of his way to keep Yanqing away from danger. The way I rationalize this (and this is me stretching the mara lore a LOT) is that Yanqing is so important to Jing Yuan that he creates a sort of blind spot to the mara when present; he is both innately precious and harbors only positive memories in Jing Yuan's mind, so in a way, he retroactively contradicts the way mara-struck!Jing Yuan would normally perceive him, seeing Yanqing as something to protect rather than attack (i hope that made any sense </3). This would probably never actually happen in canon. I just really like the idea of Jing Yuan's love for his son being so strong that it stays with him even after he's gone mad and can no longer remember what Yanqing means to him.

Progenitor au. Saved this one for last because it's been occupying my entire brain for the past few days. It's based on Dillongoo's Progenitor Albedo series, and by based, I mean it's just the same au, same universe and everything, but HSR. I won't go into the details because I'm planning to make it its own dedicated post as well, but I think its safe to say its becoming my favorite au out of all of these. I already have some designs and original lore cooked up, so hopefully I can post about it soon.

I think that's all of them? Debatable if some of these even count as aus, but who cares. I hope you enjoyed my rambles and found my ideas interesting enough to read through. I'm hoping to eventually give them some more life and make actual content with them.

Okay, I'm only posting this here because I pretty much only ever talk about HSR and/or Genshin here or like...on their respective subreddits (outside of fanfic on AO3, lol). I also realize this sounds like I'm ranting, but I'm not really that pressed...I just want to get it 'out' instead of rolling around in my head.

Spoilers down in there for some Penacony stuff regarding Acheron but if you're reading my tumblr you probably either don't care about Honkai Star Rail or you already know what I'm talkig about.

Anyway, I was in the shower and for some reason started thinking about the inherent tension between people who want to play HSR and experience its story/lore as if HSR was a standalone game and people who really want to dig into all the connections with Honkai Impact 3.

I am, more or less, one of the former (I've read up on various things about HI3 but I'm not interested in actually playing it). And the latter type of player isn't so bad except for the people who instantly draw comparisons between the games whenever anything remotely similar pops up (shoutout to the teased Amphoreus cast getting called by the names of the characters from HI3 they look similar to instead of by their known canon HSR names) and/or insist that when there's something in the story/lore that explicitly references HI3, everyone absolutely must know all the background detail from HI3 or you Just. Won't. Get. It.

No, actually, I did not need to know everything about what happened to the Raiden Mei in HI3 in order to understand the tragedy of Acheron's story. No, I did not need to know about Kevin Kaslana to understand what I need to from the story Welt told her. No, I don't actually need to know everything about Welt to understand or like his character even though he actually is a canon HI3 character.

Annnnyway, that's all just kind of set-up.

So during the Penacony arc in HSR, there's a couple of times where Acheron asks us some questions and she mentions that the specific answer isn't actually what's important.

And then I thought about in that one scene with Tiernan where he asks her for her name and the one she gives is an obvious reference to HI3 (not a problem, her entire character is a reference to HI3). I've seen people like, "I bet those guys who don't play HI3 don't get why this is cool," or like, "man, I hate that HSR is putting stuff in the game you have to know the other game to enjoy it" or whatever.

But like?

The answer wasn't important. The actual name could have been anything (as a Genshin player too I have decided it would have been hilarious if she'd said her name was "Alice Gold Andersdottir"). The point there was really in her giving Tiernan her name, even if it was pointless in the face of him, y'know, being dead. It didn't matter (nihility, baby), but he asked, and she answered and for a moment someone remembered her as more than just "Acheron".

Okay I’ve been wanting to rant about this for a while and I feel like now is the best time to do so after this um… very galpal trailer came out lmao.

But I’ve always found it so stupid when people in the community act as if hoyo would never put any queer coding/queer characters in their games because “they’re a Chinese company so that makes them homophobic (or something); stop trying to spread your agenda!!!!! Not everything has to be queer!!! 🤬" People INSIST that others are just “reading into things too much”.

And listen, I don’t think that any ships or headcannons of mine are actually canon in game and obviously you don’t have to ship characters or think they’re queer that’s totally up to you.

But saying hoyo would NEVER queer code is objectively false. Like, please I’m begging you to look into the HI3 lore/story for just two seconds. There’s even a canonical kiss between Seele and Bronya. They have been creating queer characters for years. I mean come on, you can’t watch that hsr trailer and look me in the eyes claiming they’re dancing in a friendly way lmao.

Yes, there is a lot of censorship from the CCP but censorship is the reason why queer coding exists in the first place. I mean the kiss that I talked about prior I believe is censored in the Chinese release, but the fact that hoyo even tried to include it in the first place is hella commendable and shows that they want to include queer characters in their stories.

That being said, I do think there is a conversation to be held critiquing hoyo when it relates to queer characters such as how a lot of queer coding hoyoverse does is fanservice. I mean hey, companies will be companies and at the end of the day hoyo is trying to sell us a product to get more sweet sweet money. Hoyo isn’t blind; they know when two characters are commonly paired together. Sometimes they play into this to make people more inclined to pull on banners. Black Swan and Acheron are good examples (exhibit a is up above lmao).

I know I’m preaching to the choir here considering Tumblr is not the place most bigots flock to. However, my point in all of this is just to let people interact with media in the way they want to and stop calling queer people delusional when we call out obvious queer undertones in characters. Again, you don’t have to believe said undertones or think any of this is canon, but don’t put queer people down for wanting to see ourselves represented in media.

TLDR: Hoyo is a company known for queer coding and bigots need to let people live.

My brainrot over it is driving me crazy, so I will now be rambling about my Honkai Star Rail x Hualian AU. I haven’t been able to discuss it with anyone because I’ve got no friends who are TGCF mains, who also enjoy HSR & know a decent amount of lore…

(If you are that person and are 18+, then please please please please let me spill the contents of my overfilled brain in your presence, thank you. I need more friends… especially ones who like TGCF.)

Anyways, time to let my rambling begin. For now I’ll talk about Hualian and relevant info about them, the plot I have in mind is still being sorted out.

Their lives take place on the Xianzhou Luofu, and the plot starts when they’re young childhood friends, around 100 years or so before the present (in game.)

Hua Cheng and Xie Lian are both from the Vidyadhara race, though they’re drastically different. Hua Cheng isn’t as pure in blood, thus he resembles the various npcs with pointed ears you see walking around the Luofu. No horns, no tail, and no important social status. Xie Lian on the other hand, is more pure in blood. (this may be going slightly against canon hsr lore, since I’m pretty sure only those chosen as successors for the High Elder position can have a tail and horns. I think that’s silly though, so in this AU horns and tail can exist on Vidyadhara who aren’t the High Elder, it’s just rare to find one. They merely lack the power which is strictly for the High Elder position.) Xie Lian is a rarity among Vidyadhara as he has horns and a tail, thus he was held in high regard even in his past reincarnation. He has no interest in learning about his past self though, and was adamant about it ever since he could express it after hatching from his shell.

I am still debating where to place the “present day” plot. I’m not sure if I’d like to have everything occur before the Stellaron burst, or have it occur during and after. Most of my plot takes place in the present, as the past is for showing the childhood friendship between Hualian prior to Hua Cheng’s mysterious disappearance.

Now, for their paths, elements, and affiliations.

Hua Cheng:

• Path of The Destruction / Quantum / Stellaron Hunter

Xie Lian:

• Path of The Erudition / Imaginary / Judge in the Ten-Lords Commission

As for their weapons, Xie Lian will normally wield a sword which I will design based off Fang Xin’s manhua look. Ruoye will exist, I am just trying to figure out how to make Ruoye fit in.

E-Ming exists as well, and I DO have lore for it, thanks to the latest patch in hsr. E-Ming is a Heliobus that Hua Cheng encountered outside the Luofu, it took the form of a Scimitar. It approached Hua Cheng with a singular wish, to be wielded and used as a mighty weapon by a capable swordsman. Hua Cheng is not a fool, however, and knows that the Heliobi are parasitic in nature… at least, the ones he heard about on the Luofu were. In exchange for wielding E-Ming as his weapon, the Heliobus must agree to be bound to him permanently, and sealed in a way where it was under his control, not vice versa. Thus it explains how Hua Cheng lost the red eye he loathed so much. E-Ming was sealed within the eye Hua Cheng tore from himself, and with the blood he had spilled, E-Ming was then bound to him. E-Ming had no issue with this though, as it had not been exposed to human emotions and remained an innocent being. welt had a close friend from hi3 universe who died and saw their expy in hsr in one of the future planets. i was thinking of penacony since it’s one of the planets mentioned on the radio. apparently the trailblazers were supposed to go there after jarilo-vi until kafka said that there’s a stellaron in the xianzhou luofu.

penacony being the planet of festivals reminded me of ba sing se from avatar. since they’re about peace and happiness, the residents pretend that everything’s alright and therefore ignoring the existence of the stellaron there. don’t tell me this section of the wiki page of the family (faction of xipe, the aeon of harmony) seems sus to you:

“People are also curious whether any members of the Family had grown tired of the one and voluntarily abandoned the Path of Harmony? In the face of such a question, the Family smiles and replies ‘Never.’”

what happened to those who abandoned the path of harmony? extermination? who knows; that’s what i theorized. the astral express was invited to penacony to join in their festivals, but what if they were being targeted by the family for prying onto the issue of the stellaron, thus disrupting the peace they’re striving for.

reader disagrees with their philosophy and created another faction that they’re a leader of. when they sensed the upcoming doom of the astral express, they come to their rescue and agree to help them find the stellaron. welt’s taken aback by their appearance, because they’re an expy of a close friend from the hi3 universe who loved him so much and died in his arms.

one night reader admitted to welt that he reminded them of a friend who died (and guess what; his name’s joachim, welt’s real name, but this joachim’s an expy of welt). joachim had dreams for saving the world and it’s reader’s turn to fulfill it. iirc welt means “of the whole world” stated in 2nd eruption, and welt’s determined to save the world, like he did in hi3. he tells reader what his name means and he shares the same sentiment as their friend, and he’ll do anything in his power to help them.

i honestly have never read omegaverse fic before, knowing only the basics, mostly from memes lol so it was really interesting to get in detail into your take on their biology and how nicely you entwined it with existing hsr lore. morphing known issues to match the omegaverse world. i especially liked when you mentioned cutting the other scent gland from the necks, because wow, it’s so barbaric, but makes so much sense to describe it. i’m a big fan of how you organise the story around the main characters — like i’m reading news or just following canon events, because everything just fits so well that i’m not even questioning if you came up with all these names by yourself or if they were mentioned somewhere in the game. there are just things that must happen (arriving at the desert planet) no matter what, and we’re following the narrative, but oh! suddenly something unexpected happens (the heat) and what now?!

i’m also surprised because this fic wasn’t deranged at all? or i’m just clueless lol sure, the setting wasn’t cotton candy sweet at all, but the story itself was rather soft and slow, and loving. i love love love the reader there — they’re so respectful and understanding, and how they view aventurine is so special. they seem so pure despite all the awful things they have gone through. i just can’t wait to read how their relationship develops.

i feel like aventurine is slightly different here. but i enjoy it! i guess it’s because in this fic he’s forced into a vulnerability he cannot control — something that probably didn’t happen to his canon version. so he’s more… pathetic? it adds the edge because the risk seems even greater, and i completely understand the reader to worry about his luck and confidence when his heats are still the biggest threat. their dynamic is so interesting. that aventurine, despite being an omega, has the reader wrapped around his finger because they’re so down bad for him. their instinct turned into love :(

and i was supposed to say nothing yet i yapped. i thought i wouldn’t have the attention span or the strength to read through this entire fic in one sitting, but i got so invested!!! like i was watching a tv show, not reading!!! thank you for the amazing fic, mao 🙇

i portray bailu as being the human equivalent of 12 years old despite her many years of age. may be subject to change if she gets an older form (sp bailu, anyone?)

bailu is a character whose freedom is very restrained, so for threads that take place outside of the luofu, always assume that she's escaped somehow and is evading capture. she's very eager to see the world—if there's a will, there's a way!

bailu's healing is based off of the systems of traditional chinese medicine, which i will reference often. do note that i'm still doing my research about it and while i have been exposed to the culture and to tcm itself, i still come from a different cultural context and may understand things wrong. please do let me know if this is the case, i would hate to misrepresent.

I’ll take whatever details you can give me but I do have one specific question: would Yanqing be with Lumine (and maybe Childe) like some crime-committing Batman and Robin, or would he still be with Jing Yuan? I can’t see Lumine abandoning her kid but Jing Yuan without Yanqing just wouldn’t be the same lol

Unfortunately for you, anon, in most versions of this au, she does, in fact, abandon him </3 There is a reason for it, but I'll leave that for another time. Just know that this au is largely canon-compliant.

To keep everything concise and easy to swallow, I'll compile all the lore for the primary (my favorite) version into a bullet point list.

(Putting a cut here in-post because I yapped. So much. I'm sorry, anon)

Lumine and Childe are heavily based on Bonnie and Clyde, and they follow the same general idea and dynamic.

For Childe, his crimes involve mainly petty things, with a good amount of theft, battery, grand theft auto, etc, while Lumine is best known for one thing: the murder of a high-ranking political figure many decades ago.

It should be noted that the two of them aren't hsr versions/expies of their canon selves, they're the same people (technically) and have the same backstories (with some tweaks on Childe's part)

I'll focus on Childe mainly. The main divergence in his story is the fact that once he entered the Abyss at 14, he never left. He remained under Skirk's tutelage for some time, but soon began traveling on his own in search of a blonde girl he's been seeing in his dreams (memories) since childhood.

Two things about the Abyss: 1, I'm following the theories/implications that the Abyss and the sea of quantum are the same and therefore connect to different worlds. 2, and a personal headcanon(?), is that the Abyss saps away at ones sanity, and by association, their memories.

Having spent the better part of a decade in the Abyss, Childe is slightly more unhinged than canon, and despite entering the Abyss to one day return with Lumine, over time, he's all but forgotten most of the life he had before, including his and his family's names. In fact, most of his memories are completely muddied, only clearly remembering his search for one very important person.

It's by seeing Lumine's wanted posters all over the place that eventually leads him to her. Along the way, he becomes a wanted man in his own right for said theft, battery and grand theft auto.

While Lumine denies knowing Childe, she entertains his antics and accepts his (many) requests to join her on her journey, despite not being privy to all of her motivations. His main goal in this partnership is to act as her, well, partner in crime, and hope that maybe one day she'll remember him.

Aside from Lumine, Childe's main goal is to find stronger opponents across the cosmos to challenge himself, and it's through following (and "protecting") her that he can meet different worthy opponents.

It's estimated that they've been in this partnership for 2-3 years prior to hsr's prologue (Childe is roughly 25). So far, no one has been able to catch them or fully understand their motivations.

Bonus: the idea of Yanqing being a sort of "robin" to chilumi's batman (technically its more joker and harley quinn, but still) is an idea I've rotated in my head a bit. I feel that, for the most part, none of the party members would actually know that they're family. Childe and Yanqing would play off each other brilliantly, though. I just know it. Even without knowing he's a dad, he fits into his role with ease.

First impression: basic unoriginal condescending good looking guy. Present impression: insecure person that got unfairly treated for not being the perfect child. He's ashamed of his good looks because his family couldn't care less about any of his redeeming qualities. Love was conditional for him.
