#i do think she enjoys fashion as like. self expression bc its one of the few ways of self expression left to her#but i think its less about clothes and more about creativity#anyway my argument for all of this is that she changes her clothes a lot even in her spare time when theres no real need so she must like it (tags from @ozvezdja)
the "fashion as self-expression" angle on padmé is really interesting to me because as queen you get the sense that her clothes (and hair and makeup and accessories) are very dictated by tradition—i.e. a way of expressing an idea rather than a form of self-expression—and even with her outfits as senator seeming subject to fewer constraints, she's still seen using them as a political messaging tool
which doesn't rule out using fashion as self-expression when she's not in the public eye, but does continue her general tension between the self and the image
does padmé actually like fashion or is it just one of those things she does for work and happens to be super good at

Leia Organa headcanons
# because I love her with my dear life
Tumblr media
Unknowingly has curly hair (I made a longer post on this one)
Ears not pierced
Not at all the type of person to change her hair for "cycle closure" purposes, so the first time she did (before ROTJ, when she got those little bangs) she was actually really excited to see herself looking a tiny bit different
Wanted to be a historian for a while when she was 13-16
Never had pets
But also a magnet for animals for some reason
Like she's the one that cats choose to cuddle in a room with several people
And she has a blast every time
Shyly (but not necessarily closeted) bisexual
Hums quietly while organising/cleaning
Tea person (Alderaanian tea is smoothly bitter and helps focus)
Her dorm is perfectly tidy but her bed is either A- Permanently unmade or B- Also perfectly tidy but wrinkled, because she just collapses on it rather than tucking herself in
Fluid in like four languages she never uses
Everyone expects her handwriting to be all fancy and clean
It's not
She writes in a medium sized roundy lowercase and crosses out misspelled words all the time
Canon aside, I don't think she would pursue or want to become a mother
Don't think she'd hate or be completely closed off to the idea, either
So my conclusion is she'd probably become a foster parent at some point
The smell of incense makes her dizzy
Would never forgive Anakin
That one's obvious but I feel the need to include it since it was "canon" at some point that she did
Wtf is that crap about her naming one of her children after the man who took everything from her
Nuh-uh
Would adore Padmé though
Learning about her legacy was probably one of her most deeply cherished things
I believe one of the comics featured her being sent Padmés gowns from Naboo for her to keep and # yes please we need more of Leia and her mom
Likes wearing perfume!
Cannot draw anything but stickmen, but loves watching other people draw/paint
Never gets a runny nose no matter how cold or sick she is
Cannot cook
Like throughout her childhood everyone focused on how "wise" and "mature" she was and taught her things that were well beyond what was expected of a girl her age, and she excelled at most of it, but ended up lacking basic life skills
She had to learn those in her 20s
And started making traditional Alderaanian dishes and the ones that she remembered her parents used to make for her when she realized that was a possibility
Honestly I think I might do a longer post on Leia going through the Mature Child Pipeline ™ because there's just so much to unpack

The Galaxy Guide to loving girls presents: Fashion across the galaxy.
Ladies. We all know how to dress to impress. We all have that special dress, or that cute skirt that will make  your gf or every girl in the club fall over her heels for you. But as big as our closets are the galaxy is even bigger. And fashion changes in different ways depending on where you are. For those who haven't visit the outer rim, who have never go down the rabbit hole of parties on the core worlds or venture into Hutt Space, we bring you fashion trends and advices from every corner of the galaxy
Core Worlds
Naboo. Let me tell you something. If you are a cute girl really into pastel colors, silk robes and dresses that go all the way down to the floor, jewelry from every corner of the galaxy or just really, but REALLY sexy swimsuits, Naboo is your place. Home to the capital of Fashion, Theed, and has a little bit for everyone! The beaches and lakes are a great place to get some skin out, so take some sunscreen and a cute swimsuit and relax. The raves are also a wild space where you can have some fun with some of the cutest girls in the galaxy. You will be getting into a beautiful and wild rainbow of colors, where people laugh, drink and dance until they cant stand.  And finally tea parties in the city are the best place to try new things. The nobles from Naboo are really grounded and they try to give back at the people. Getting invited is a bit tricky as everyone wants to go but its a excellent place to go out in your fancy clothes.
Alderaan. Fancy. That's what you need to think when dressing up for Alderaan. For years, the different houses of Alderaan had made the planet into a jewel for high society parties and ball dances! As so, the people in Alderaan love to dress to impress. Think tight dresses with the best cuts, amazing haircuts, and of course, the most impressive lingerie and tattoos you can think off! For Alderanians, everything should be fashionable. Your hair, your skin, your clothes and even your underwear. Of course you can also hit the more casual parties. Most of the population like the fashion from the nobles, but they also want to relax every now and then. So you can get yourself some old clothes, some easy makeup, flats, and just go and share a drink around a fire. Casual parties are often in the middle of the wood so you can get away from the noise of the cities
Corellia. Now listen up ladies. Corellia is the bomb. And i'm not saying that in some sick way because of all the imperial bombardments. Corellia is a place where you can go and fuck around. You want to go for wild colors? You want to wear all black in the middle of the park? You want to have a skirt shorter than your ass and strings as a bra? Corellia has a place for everyone! From the east plazas to the north raves, Corellia embraces diversity of extreme styles like no other place.
Outer Rim
Tatooine. Now listen. Many people don't know this but there is an actual FASHION WORLD in Tatooine. Most smugglers across the galaxy end up in here after running away with some loot. So to cheat boredom, they began to go through their goods and loot to thrown parties. After a while this parties became a nice event that has become a tradition. The hottest things in Tatooine beside the sand, are ponchos and hats! You need to protect yourself from the sun ladies so sunglasses are also really cool! The colors are usually clear and with few jewels so you dont tempt the patrons. But if you fancy some new type of fashion, head over Tatooine for a party! Just remember your sunscreen.
Nar Shaddaa. The fashion on Nar Shaddaa has 2 sides. Neon and wild colors and High Sexy Fashion. If you have been in Nar Shaddaa, or at least its higher levels, you know that the world is a big Ad. Everyone wants you to go and spend money in either a casino or in a bar. As so, most streets are filled with Neon signs and wild colors to hook you up. Parties are the same. Nobody will be judging you here so go wild, get yourself as many colors as you want, some high heels or flats that make you feel cute and hit whatever party you want. Some bars have a color scheme so if you really want to kill it, try to plan ahead. Otherwise even wearing 6 or 7 colors is cool! Now there's also the highest parties. Here, people with power and influence throw their sexiest dresses and go to have some fun. Most parties of course are private but there are a good amount that will let you in as long as you look cute or sexy. These parties are usually wild as everyone invited will be looking to hook up.
Rishi. Now girls! Rishi is the capital of pirates. If you thought Nar Shaddaa was a paradise for smugglers Rishi is heaven on steroids. But worry not! There are some good souls in Rishi that want to keep civilians safe so they can spend money around. And one of the best attractions on the planet is the Jungle Cat Walk! Here, pirates and smugglers lend all the clothes they have to the prettiest girls, so they can walk around the party and catch buyers. There's also pirate fashion battles, where a group of girls try to come up with a new outfit out of random stuff in a box in order to win. And of course, for all of you not in a pirate gang or smuggling goods, you can go and enjoy yourself in the after party! The fashion in Rishi is wild. You must look as cute and dangerous as you can! People even carry knives under their dresses just to look better! Greeen, gold and red are your best friends. And there are plenty of beaches for you to go and try for a wild swimsuit. Do try to avoid heavy jewelry as you don't want to tempt locals
Special Mentions
Dromund Kaas. Now I know that not everyone wants to go get themselves in the middle of some sith drama. But if you manage to stick to the drama free parts of Kaas City, you will actually have a good time. Now as the capital of all things sith and scary, Droming Kaas is also the capital of all things goth and metal. If you fancy wearing black as dark as your soul, metal spikes and chains, or just a dramatic dress out of a fantasy movie, you will be right at home. Of course, not everything is black in Kaas. Some people like to wear white and gold to look like characters from movies. Some even wear fake armor just to look cool. As i said. The capital of drama is a place where you can wear whatever as long as it is amazing. Cosplayers might find this is their own little paradise. Just stay away from wearing anything to similar to prominent sith’s

Milk | (explicit) v
Tumblr media
Paring: Din Djarin x Reader
Words: 6609
read chapter four  read on AO3
After you and Crix finish eating, you both go outside, giving Mando the privacy of the house. It seems a little overkill to leave the man an entire house to himself (and the bounty), but he deserves that much at least. And while the Tatooine night isn’t as beautiful as the sunsets, the stars more than make up for it.
“There, you see that,” you say, pointing towards the right side of the sky. “Somewhere in that constellation is my star, and the system that surrounds it.”
“Beautiful,” Crix replies. “You know, I never studied astronomy on Alderaan, too happy with history to bother. And we’ve explored most of the galaxy anyway.”
“I guess. I’m pretty sure we know less than we think we do. The Unknown Regions could be twice or three times the size of the Core and all the Rims combined. Think about it!” Crix laughs and takes a sip of his tea. A sleeping tea, this time, cooled and perfect for an easy rest.
“How many constellations do you know?” You pause, taking the time to mull over the question. When you dreamed about finding your brother, you studied the stars. You plotted different routes he could take, the planets he could reach given the fuel capacity of his ship, which ones he’d avoid or welcome. Charts of the skies were imprinted on the back of your eyelids, day and night.
It also helped, that your time doing finances for your parents gave you constant practice with math. While you weren’t the next big physicist, you knew enough to plot coordinates. And make finance sheets compatible with different holo programs.
Somehow, in all that studying, you enjoyed learning about the stars. Not enough to make a career out of it (and what a useless career that would be), but it’s a fun enough hobby. “I can point out most of the constellations that make up the Known Regions,” you grin. “And if we’re talking Mid Rim in, I could tell you the different constellations in the main languages from their systems.”
“Oh? You know many languages and are a budding astronomer. I see.” Rolling your eyes, you shuffle a bit. The sand is as irritating as always but- you could get used to it. Probably. “If- you mentioned becoming a pilot and following your brother were your dreams, right?” You nod, looking at Crix. The night is too dark, however, so you only see a shadow. “I could teach you how to fly, if you want. If we can get a ship.” You pause, dumbfounded.
It’s so easy for Crix to offer you flying lessons when it took Mando so much kriffing effort to even agree.
Crix would be a better teacher. He’s gentle and softhearted. He’ll give you corrections sandwiched between compliments and encouragement. A far cry from Mando’s disastrous lesson. Maker, you can imagine it: you, a few years from now, with fantastic piloting skills honed by an ex-rebel pilot.
But flying with Crix would mean letting Mando go, and you’re not sure if you want that. In fact, you’re not sure if flying is a thing you want to do for yourself and not for your brother. Your mind hurts at the implication, though, so you steal a sip of Crix’s tea before thinking of your reply.
You open your mouth to speak, ready to give an answer when- “Or, we can go to Anchorhead, and see if there’s a book about stars. For you to take on your trip with your Mandalorian.”
Oh. Oh. You release a breath, stomach giddy and confused. Crix knows you better than you know yourself, you realize. Which you shouldn’t be surprised about, honestly. Your brother held your identity so secret that only Crix knew he had family, but that didn’t stop him from telling Crix every embarrassing story from your childhood.
“I’d like that. Thank you.” You hear Crix chuckle.
“You’re welcome.” The both of you stay quiet for a moment, content to sit next to each other in silence. It’s a stark difference from the thick tension between you and Mando. And there’s always tension whether it be sexual or emotional or- or anything else. “Tell me about your parents,” Crix says softly. “What are they like?” You furrow your brows. You already told him all about them before.
But this is the first time Crix wanted to know something, the first time he asked an actual question. Taking your silence as rejection, he says, “I’m sorry. You don’t have to-”
“They’re nice. I think, once they get over the fact that you’re a boy, they’ll like you. Of course, they’d learn their firstborn son had lied about his death in a plot to destroy the Empire, but,” you shrug, “they’ll learn to internalize their grief and move on like everyone else.” Crix stays silent, and you worry that maybe what you said isn’t the sort of thing he was looking for.
“My dad… he likes his caf with just a little sugar. No cream. He can’t drink lactose without getting an upset stomach. He loves sour treats, especially the lemon tarts imported from Naboo. His favorite color is orange, and he doesn’t like speaking when he has to. My mom,” you pause, choking back the urge to cry.
You don’t know why you suddenly want to bawl, but, just as you feel the familiar urge of drowning, Crix places a warm hand on your elbow. You suck back your tears and continue.
“My mom loves plants and pretty things. It’s why she likes the b-bar girls so much. They’re prettier than me. But she loves me, in her own way. She buys me d-dresses and skirts, but they never fit. She sees everything as a project, a slate for her to fix,” you fiddle your fingers, thinking of all those beautiful clothes the bar girls wear while you get too-big or too-small garments. The colors shine and shimmer on the Twi’leks, Togrutas, Pantorans…. They never glitter on you.
“She likes lemon tarts too and takes her caf with cream and lots of sugar. If she had the choice, she’d probably travel, looking for the prettiest things in the world and leaving me and dad behind. But she lo-loves us so m-much,” you sob, burying your face in your hands, chest squeezing. It’s been a while since you last cried, much less about your parents; the last time you shed a tear was before Mando… before you and Mando….
Life is so different now; you’re so different. You’re no longer a bumbling, naive girl with dreams too big to ever complete. Truly, you’d been a fool to ever think that you’d track your brother’s journey through the galaxy, years after his supposed death. But you found a man who made you feel what love is like (is it love?), and you found the truth about your brother on the first planet you landed on, and somehow, in the past month, you found out how to be just a bit stronger, a bit less rambling and insecure.
None of that would have happened if Mando never saved you that day when you got in his way, surely endangering himself and his bounty.
But you can’t deny that, for the first time, you miss your parents. You’ve changed, yes, but- Maker, you miss them so kriffing much. In the holodramas, the young girls that go on adventures have no parents, while you willingly left yours behind. Crix pulls you into a sideways hug, and you lean in.
“Shhh, it’s ok. Thanks for telling me,” he says, after your tears dry and sobs stop. You realize that you’ve probably been out here for an hour, and Mando is definitely finished with his food and armor cleaning. Voicing your observation, Crix agrees, and you head back, wiping your face one last time.
When you enter the house, you find Mando closer to the door than you thought. Odd, but not unwarranted. Crix breezes to his room, claiming the sleepy tea made him exhausted, and leaves you alone with the bounty hunter.
“Where’s the bounty?” you ask after an uncomfortable silence. Mando points to the corner at the man, gagged, bound, and unconscious. But not tied to anything. “He won’t escape?” Mando shrugs, and his armor gleams from the moonlight.
“I broke his ankles. He won’t run anytime soon. Once he’s in carbonite, he’s not a problem.” Mando walks over to you, a hulking man of metal, and gently brushes his knuckles against your cheeks. “Does that scare you?” You gulp.
“No,” you say. Because you’re not. You think. You know how Mando can get, how all bounty hunters act when the prey is caught and the hunt ends. But breaking a man’s ankles seems unnecessarily cruel but- you know Mando would never hurt you.
“No, I’m not,” you smile, leaning into the gloved hand that now cups your cheek. This is what you wanted, right? For him to touch you like he loves you, like he’s a romantic interest in the holodramas, and you’re the main character. So why is your heart pounding with a little dread?
“Good.” He pulls away from you quickly, and you almost want to bring him back closer but- you’re not foolish enough to think he’d like that. Mando is blunt, quiet, and scary. Independent. He doesn’t need a girl like you, lost and chirping away, tugging at his hand for affection.
“Okay,” you reply because you don’t know what else to say. With that, you turn to Crix’s bedroom, but stop in your tracks. Would Mando…?
No, he wouldn’t mind that you and Crix would share a bed, right? Crix had voiced his concern, but Mando had to see you weren’t interested in Crix like that. Besides, the couch is too small for both you and the bounty hunter. And there is no way Crix and Mando would share a bed. The thought almost makes you laugh, but you stop the sound from bubbling past your lips.
And yet…
You breeze into Crix’s room, tugging at the spare linens in his closet and stealing the second pillow off his bed. He shoots you a knowing smile, even winking at you which you pointedly ignore. Mando doesn’t say anything when you throw the couch cushions on the floor, doesn’t even move when you settle between the spare blanket, motioning for him to share the pillow.
Later, with Mando’s arm across your waist, armorless except for his helmet, you shut your eyes and try to sleep. You dream of stars and spaceships and siblings.
*****
Mando had stayed behind with the bounty on the homestead when you and Crix left.
He had wanted to leave the man’s injuries unattended, but he caved and allowed you to brace his ankle after you pressed a kiss to his helmet. The man cried when you did, almost reaching a hand out to touch you, but Mando stopped him.
“He’s a killer,” he said. You didn’t mention the fact that Mando’s a killer too. That he shot Ras Drun because he didn’t want others to kill him first and- you shove that thought out your traitorous mind. Killing is part of the job; he doesn’t like what he does. Mando is the only justice the galaxy can get, the type of justice that tracks criminals over systems.
When you and Crix reach Anchorhead it’s as dull as before, but the library isn’t. Small, dusty, and on the brink of collapse, the library teems with old books. Tatooine is decades behind on literature, but the stars don’t change much, and Crix secures you a book with paper pages. Paper! An outdated thing, yes, but the book is so beautiful. You thank Crix many times over, and he laughs it off like the good would-have-been brother-in-law he is.
The book, titled The Scholar’s Guide to the Galaxy’s Stars and Systems, Edition Twelve, sits on the bottom of your bag. Crix pushes the bag, filled with tea and milk and bantha jerky, at you, making you promise to come back.
You leave that night since Mando prefers travelling when the oppressive heat doesn’t cook him in his armor. He returns the speeder bike in Mos Eisley and drags the bounty through the sand, braced ankles and all. It’s a blessing that the man doesn’t wake up; you can’t comprehend the pain he’s going through, killer or not. It serves as another reminder that, much like Tatooine, the real galaxy is full of pain and suffering, more than the small glimpses you had back home.
The trip back to the Crest is silent, Mando not speaking even when you arrive at the ship, opting to open the hatch and climb right in without sparing you a word.
You place the bag on the floor gently, mindful of the inner contents, and crouch down. The milk will go sour soon, so you should probably drink it now. Before you can continue contemplating what time to drink your blue milk, you hear the tell-tale signs of the carbonite sealing around the bounty.
As the hiss dies down, you look towards Mando on the other end of the ship, then at the bounty’s face, mouth wide open in a silent scream. You wonder if the braces you gave him would be enough to help him heal while he spends time in his frozen prison.
Sighing, you reach back into the bag to pull your book out when Mando suddenly towers over you. A bit spooked, you scoot back.
He looks so large standing there, a mountain of metal. You know the corded muscles that sculpt his body; you know that if you reach out to the tiny spot below his ear, and give him a little kiss, he’d treat you with a groan. But it’s been so long since you two had any real time together (not counting last night because you both were tired), despite it being three or so days since you landed on Tatooine. Your face heats up at the memory.
You expect him to reach out to you, to speak and say what’s on his mind. Instead, Mando pushes past you and heads up the ladder. It stings like rejection, but you push the feeling down. You have no right to feel that way.
After a minute or so, the ship rumbles, and you feel the Crest rise into the air. You should’ve gone up with him, so you can help plot the coordinates on his next bounty or something. You want to be more useful, less like a burden.
With another sigh (geez, when did you get so gloomy?), you trudge up the ladder and into the cockpit. Mando sits in the main chair, broad and unwavering as always. For a moment, your throat goes dry, and you wonder what to say. Thankfully, he beats you to it.
“We’re going to Cato Neimoidia,” he says, not bothering to face you as he speaks.
You calculate the distance on your fingers, almost surprised at how quick the journey would be. You’ve never ventured that far into the galaxy before, much less to a Neimoidian purse world. “That’ll be, what, five and a half days of travel?” Mando wheels his chair around.
“Yes,” he says, curtly. Oh. Well all right. You fiddle your fingers a bit, unsure on how to proceed. It’s always been slightly awkward around Mando, but you got used to it. Now? Now, there’s something different, an underlying tension you’re not quite sure you like.
Suddenly, you’re reminded of the last time you were in the cockpit, horny and frustrated. Back then, you still had faraway dreams of tracing your brother’s path. But when you finally got the answers you ached to have… that means it’s all going to end, right? You should’ve stayed with Crix when he gave you the chance. Because as much as you want to stay with Mando, maybe he doesn’t want you to. But he did offer to continue your piloting lessons, and he never explicitly said he’d kick you out.
“W-would you like some milk?” you ask after a long, long time of standing. “We should finish it before it spoils. Crix said-”
“I know what he said.” Mando turns around, and that’s as big of a dismissal as you’re going to get. It stings, just a little, to be pushed aside so easily but- what can you expect? He doesn’t owe you anything even if you wish he had a little more tact.
So you hurry downstairs to your bag and split the glass of milk between two packed cups. You leave yours downstairs, a snack for when you read your new book, and take Mando’s up the ladder, careful not to spill.
When you re-enter the cockpit, Mando has his head in his hands. “Are you all right?” He flinches at your voice, not bothering to acknowledge your presence. You set the cup down on a flat surface, making sure it won’t spill on the controls you only just managed to remember. Looking at them now, you can barely tell which meter is the gauge for the hyperspace fuel and which one is for the oxygen levels in the ship.
“Yes,” Mando replies, and you realize you had forgotten what you even asked. Without a thank you, he picks the cup up, and you take your cue to leave him his privacy. When you descend the ladder, you fight the urge to throw your forehead against the wall and scream.
Why is he being so kriffing cold? Why? Things were good before Tatooine. Great, in fact. Those three days were both nerve-wracking and exhilarating. And the cantina? Stars, you almost gave him a handjob in public! So you don’t understand why Mando is being so- so stiff.
Part of you thinks you should’ve known this might happen, that your days of happiness and bliss wouldn’t last. He’s a bounty hunter, not a prince. Bounty hunters don’t wear their hearts on their sleeves; that’s a business infraction. But another part says that he might’ve changed. Might’ve actually wanted to be nice, and that, beneath all that metal, he’s still a man. A man with toned muscles and a stiff co-
Okay. You should probably stop there. You’re mad at him, right?
Shit. You don’t know what to do if you’re mad at him or if he’s mad at you. You wish Crix were here; he’d give you great advice.
And suddenly you have a bright thought, a glaring epiphany. Crix. You remember how quick Mando was when he slammed Crix into the wall and threatened him. You thought he got over the initial animosity since he allowed you to stay on Crix’s homestead while he did his job. Maybe Mando stayed territorial, possessive. But while your growing arousal surges at that thought, another part of you shivers.
Yes, you like the feeling of him dominating you in bed. But dominating your affections? Your emotions? Who you could care for or be around? That doesn’t sit right with you at all. Especially since he has the gall to be jealous over your long-dead brother’s fiance.
With a sudden spike of anger, you take a sip of your milk for some much-needed energy and climb the ladder once more.
Before Mando can even turn in his seat, fully helmeted with an untouched cup of milk on the console, you wheel his chair around yourself.
“Why are you like this?” you say, not really sure what you mean, but you know you have to get this off your chest.
“What?”
“This,” you wave your hands in his general direction. “Cold and mean. We were fine before- before Tatooine, and we come back, and you’re all grumpy. You don’t say anything on the ride here. You don’t say thanks when I give you milk. And you don’t even know what you’re doing wrong! I just don’t get it, and you don’t have any right to-”
Mando cuts you off by grabbing your wrists and pulling you in until you’re sprawled over his lap. “What-”
“Can you please shut up?”
“No,” you glare, your reflection distorted on his helmet. You try to wiggle away, but his grip is too tight.
“Listen to me. Can you- stop moving. I get it. You want to go back to that shit planet and be with your new boyfriend. But you said you wanted to learn to fly, and that little rebel farmer doesn’t even have a ship.”
You freeze, unable to process what he said. But when you do, you become infuriated.
“Boyfriend?! What boyfriend? Last time I checked, Mandalorian, you’re the closest person to fit the bill! Did you really think Crix and I are- are dating? You and I slept on the floor last night! Together. I know you have a bucket on your head every day, but are you actually that dense?” You don’t know where the sudden venom in your voice comes from, but it’s there, glaring and loud and stinging.
You try to squirm away, too angry to deal with the blank, metal facade in front of you, but Mando pulls you tighter to his chest. “You seemed so happy with him, and told him about your parents that I thought-”
Wait.
What?
What do your parents have to do with anything unless- he heard you, didn’t he? Heard you cry and sob about missing them. And somehow, your words made him believe that you and Crix…
“You thought what?” you say, softer, forcing the bite out your voice.“He asked about my parents, Mando. So I told him. Just because he’s a guy I’m friends with doesn’t mean I’m attracted to him.”
“Oh.” He sounds so… sad yet still gruff. Resigned. It almost breaks your heart, and for a moment you let yourself wonder about his personal life, about his parents. He’s never mentioned them, and you highly doubt he’d start talking now, but-
“You can always ask,” you say, and Mando brushes a finger against your cheek. “But next time, please don’t jump to conclusions. For both our sakes.”
“Hmm.”
You take a moment to linger in the aftermath of your miscommunication and- Maker, you feel so proud of yourself. For being able to handle the situation without any lasting consequences, for not fumbling over your words despite feeling overwhelmed. You might be a little high on adrenaline (his accusation almost gave you a heart attack), and you really, really want to laugh, or cry or sleep but- you hold it in.
It’s ridiculous to think of Crix as anything other than a brother. But given that Mando is a touch-starved, emotionally stunted bounty hunter who can’t even show his face or divulge his name, he didn’t understand how simple your relationship with Crix is. How can anyone reach the conclusion that you and Crix are an item when you gave up an actual bed to sleep on the hard floor with Mando?
“Are you angry with me?” he asks after a long while. You shake your head immediately. No, you’re not angry. Or even scared. Because, while Mando breaks his bounty’s ankles or shoots them point blank, he’s still vulnerable enough to ask if you're angry with him. To grow soft at the mention of parents.
You move to get up, but two gloved hands on your hips stop you. What-
Something hard and stiff presses against your inner thigh, and you fight the urge to squeal. Only now, far departed from that dirty cantina, do you remember the familiar feeling of want nestled in your stomach. You forgot how much you craved more of Mando’s body until his actual boner juts into your thigh, a reminder of what exactly will come next.
And while some part of you wants to be petty and leave him hanging for being a jerk who talks first before thinking, you also desperately want him to take you right there in the cockpit. Or rather, you just want to be in his arms forever.
“Fuck,” Mando grunts when you adjust yourself in his lap. “Eager, aren’t you?”
“You’re one to talk,” you breathe out, hands already reaching between your bodies to where his cock tents, stiff and proud. You debate taking off his thigh armor but decide against it even though you really want to feel his muscular thigh.
Bringing one hand to your mouth, Mando lets you take his glove off with his teeth, and you take a moment to appreciate his darkened skin, calloused and large. Together, you and Mando pull his pants down just enough for his cock to slip out and- Maker, it’s so much better seeing him in the light like this. The veins, slight curve, the leaking-
With a jolt, you realize that this is the first time you’ve ever seen any inch of unprotected skin (aside from his wrist). Maybe it’s a step in the right direction, an achievement to show that he’s willing to reveal parts of himself.
You spit into your hand, much like the way you first touched him so long ago, and reach for him. You give him firm, slow strokes, and Mando rewards you with a groan. There’ll be no kissing this time, you mourn sadly, but he might give you access to his neck. The thought makes you giddy.
With a little maneuvering, you manage to tug enough of Mando’s clothes down and reveal his equally tanned skin underneath. He lets you, surprisingly, but jolts when you first press your lips on the dip above his collarbone. His cock even twitches in your hand.
Mando gets tired eventually, though, and he wrenches your own pants to your knees. You stand up for a moment, basking in his attention, and undress the whole way, throwing the pants on the floor, soon followed by your shirt and undergarments.
Kriff, you feel all the blood in your body burning, aching for more Mando, for more of him, helmeted or not. He eases a finger into you, and you gasp, body opening up again after a few days of celibacy. He presses the pad of his finger right into the ridged, highly sensitive part of you, and you drool against his neck.
“F-fuck, Mando, right-”
You climax not soon after, two of Mando’s fingers curved upwards into you while one thumb rests above your clit. When Mando slides between your folds and begins thrusting, it’s like the past few days never happened, and you’re right back normal. A simple girl with dreams of following her brother through space. A girl with a useless, hopeless crush on a masked bounty hunter.
It takes you begging for his helmet to come off to make Mando twist you around so your back presses against his chest. The position is new and exhilarating, and it sends shivers of excitement up your spine.
Mando touches you, all of you, and as his mouth sucks wet hickeys on your throat, he thrusts up into you. There’s no measured pace, no cadence with his motions. It’s pure, wild fucking and- there’s something like desperation there.
With him squeezing a nipple in one hand and covering your eyes with the other, it’s up to you to rub your clit, chasing down a second high as your head lolls back to rest on his shoulder, chest heaving from Mando’s rough thrusts.
Moments later, bright white flashes behind your eyelids, you’re entire head going fuzzy and airy and wired and- fuck, you go limp in Mando’s arms. With a drawn-out groan, he finishes inside you, a trickle of his release gliding down your aching thighs.
When you think it’s time to go, Mando keeps you there, and you feel him soften, sometimes twitching. It’s… new but not unwanted. In fact, the whole experience has been something novel, a new achievement indeed. He presses a gentle kiss to your ear, and you swoon, happy to pretend for a little longer.
Promising to keep your eyes closed, you allow yourself to be picked up and off his lap as Mando grabs his helmet from the floor, groaning at the sudden emptiness. And, when your eyes begin to droop and you don’t need to force them closed, you let him tuck you into a co-pilot chair, his cape draped over you like a blanket.
*****
Din doesn’t remember why he first asked you to join him on Tatooine. All Din knows is that he didn’t want to leave you behind on the Crest, all sad and lonely, especially not after he fucked you for three days straight.
And it’s not like you ask to come to missions, only prompting questions about the next destination, so Tatooine would be a change of pace.
You were mildly interested in Nevarro, but while he’d left you behind on the Crest before, he didn’t dare bring you there. If Paz catches wind of you— weak and starry-eyed—the whole Covert would wonder why Din would choose someone so soft. But Din doesn’t want you to make more younglings for the Covert; boiling down your purpose to a breeder seems so… demeaning. No, he doesn’t really know why he wants you next to him. Something about you makes him… start questioning things.
So he takes you to Mos Eisley, buys you a drink as if he were just another man, and watches as you almost gag at the taste. It stings a bit, but what did he expect? Din Djarin is not the definition of a “good date” and never has been.
And then he has to control himself when your pretty little hand cups him through his pants with the promise of more. Fuck, the dirtiest words escape your mouth. You surprise him, but he should’ve known that you’re a little vixen under all your awkward fumbling. Or rather, you grew more confident to show that side of yourself after a month under Din’s rough tutelage. After all, you’re very different from the stuttering girl who spilled details on one elusive Devaronian bounty.
Everything in the cantina goes well, the buildup of something dirty and satisfying just barely out of reach. Then you go and meet that odd, grimy, ex-rebel, and Din has to watch you smile at his stories and stay at his farm.
He thinks of you during the entire hunt despite the rational part of his head telling him to stop. You are… well, Din doesn’t know what you are. What your relationship is. Are you his girlfriend? Would that make him a boyfriend? Din doesn’t know how to be a boyfriend. The word itself seems a little… immature. Young. Juvenile. And Din is too old to be using those words.
He’s only ever had lovers, most of them seedy, and no one near serious. But you- you sleep in his bed, allow him to ravage your inexperienced body, and clean up the ship. You want to learn to fly, want to trace your brother’s footsteps, want to seem like an older woman rather than the small girl you are.
He wants to be at the farm with you, have you on a real bed regardless if there’s company (but he really does not want to share) but- there’s a bounty to catch. And if Din takes out his personal frustrations on the boy, he’ll never tell. Thankfully, the kid’s already weak ankles break easily. Gagged, bound, unconscious. Easy money.
But when he arrives to see you and Crix watching the kriffing sunset together, he feels an ugly coil settle in his stomach.
And fuck, Crix gives you everything you want. He knew your brother. He was a pilot who could teach you better than Din can. And Crix makes you smile and laugh and talk about the personal details of your life that you never divulged to Din. Even worse, Crix is still young, younger than Din. And you’re fresh and green, barely into adulthood and- and Din used you.
He knows you were willing, but he still thinks himself a little monstrous for taking advantage of you. Cabin fever, his shebs. All his talk of taking it slow led to three days of sex, three days of leaving you in the dark about everything in his life while he takes and takes and takes from your innocent body.
Din resolves himself to be silent, to not make your departure from Tatooine any harder than it has to be. Half of him thinks you would actually stay with Crix, and he’s happy you don’t. But he hears you talk about your parents, and Din, for an achingly long moment, wonders if you'll ever share that information with him.
He wonders if his parents would have liked you. And shit- he hasn’t thought about them for years, not after Death Watch showed him the Way, and Din Djarin became Mando. The fact that you- an unassuming, stuttering girl makes him remember, makes him question… he doesn’t know what to think about that.
His only reprieve is holding you at night on the hard floor of another man’s house where he can’t even take his helmet off to kiss you. You’re as soft as ever and Din… Din feels emotions other than lust when he hugs you close.
Then he returns to the ship, and Din’s constantly reminded of Crix everywhere. Your little book about the stars— an interest that you never told Din before. The tea sashays you bring: a drink you actually enjoy instead of Din’s atrocious gift at that cantina. Hells, the milk you pour into a cup and give to him.
And then- then you storm back up, demanding to know why he’s acting cold and blunt, not realizing that he’s building his walls because of you. With his heart caught between his ribs, he only says what he thinks is true. That you and Crix have to be together because there’s no way in all of Corellia’s hells that you like Din as much as he likes you.
Fuck, it feels so good to admit that in his head. He likes curling you into his chest at night, likes draping an arm around your shoulder at seedy cantinas, likes kissing you senseless. Likes teaching you everything whether it be sex or piloting or carbon freezing.
Before you, he resigned himself to thinking of himself as more metal than man. More Creed than person. He was Mando like all other Mandos, plain and simple.
With you, he can be Din Djarin. He can approach a past buried under pain and devotion to the Way.
He wants you to understand, just for a bit, how he’s in pain at the thought of not having you. Because he knows for a fact that if you were to leave… he’d go right back to being Mando the bounty hunter, one of many other bucket heads, follower of a stiff creed from a broken planet.
So right now, angry and hurting, he pours out his frustrations only for you to respond back with more determination and grit that he’s ever seen. And while the jealous, irrational part of him says Crix made you stronger, he’d be blind to not realize that no man could change you. He has no right to say that he’s the one responsible for your new-found strength.
While Din taught you not to stutter and how to suck cock, you grew up on your own. No longer chasing long dead relatives but now your own desires. Din’s happy you chose him to continue to be in your life, so fucking happy and reassured and safe.
So he stops you from leaving and shows you just what you do to him.
He takes you right there in his chair, even taking his helmet off to kiss your neck because he needs you. All of you. When he finishes inside you and keeps himself there, he almost confesses his fucking feelings like the love drunk fool he is. But the words don’t tumble past his lips, not even as a whisper or murmur.
Din feels how tired you are, though, too tired to head down the ladder yourself. So he dresses you back in your shirt and tucks you into the co-pilot chair, snuggled under his unfastened cape. He watches you sleep, as creepy as that sounds, and sips the milk. It’s an odd taste, and he doesn’t know why you like it so much.
He doesn’t know a lot about you actually. You said that he only had to ask about your life, and you would answer. But that might mean giving up his own history, and Din’s pretty sure he’s not ready for that anytime soon.
Din buckles down in the chair, refraining from thinking about the events that happened a few minutes prior. He watches the NavComp chirp the coordinates to Cato Neimoidia and thinks about the next target, a girl slightly younger than you. Wanted because she killed the man who slaughtered her family. If Din had a stronger moral compass, he wouldn’t take the job but- he needs the credits to support you. And the younglings back on Nevarro.
He only hopes you don’t find out the grisly details of the job and, since Guild members don’t ask questions, he won’t know more than he needs to. Because he doesn’t know what he’d do if you reacted badly to the truth about his next bounty. Doesn’t know what he’d do if you realize he really is a bad man who preys on weak, young girls, whether or not he had to stow them on his ship in the middle of a firefight.
Sighing, Din spares one last look at you before heading downstairs. He picks up the book Crix bought you, flips through the pages, and settles on your home planet. For the next hour or so until you wake up, Din memorizes every single bit of information about your home world, ingraining then in his head. He wants to say he’s doing it out of curiosity but the growing romantic in him says that he simply wants to impress you.
So he learns about the local vegetation, biomes, unique animals, big cities. The singular page devoted to the planet is half scientific, half cultural. There’s a big festival coming up, and Din pulls up a galactic standard calendar. If he catches the next bounty within a month, he might be able to bring you back home in time for it.
He thinks you’d like to be back home, if not for the festival then for your parents. He remembers what you said about them, about the too-big clothes and Naboo lemon tarts. Selfishly, Din wants to celebrate the festival with you, wants to know what it’s like to have fun with someone he likes, wants to see your face light up with surprise and joy because it’s Din, not anyone else, who brings you home.
And, with a nervous fidget, he imagines what it would be like to meet your parents. What their reactions would be to seeing their precious daughter with a Mando bounty hunter bound by a code that hides his face. They won’t like me, he thinks sourly, but at least you do. Snorting, he realizes this is the first time he’s ever entertained the thought of seeing someone’s parents. How… domestic.
By the end of his reading, Din feels more confident, more self-assured than he’s been in a long time. He’ll show you how he feels when he’s ready. And he hopes that, when the time comes, you aren’t scared off.
a/n: sorry this chapter took a week to x-post on tumblr! I’ve been having major computer issues and had to get a new one :(

A different path
- anakin wanders off while qui-gon and obi-wan talk to the council
- he find himself in the library, force guided
- a pair of jedi are there twi-lek and a wookie, they are basically the jedi equivalent of married, though no one says anything.
- the force all but wallops them over the head when anakin comes in and they are like “hey, we keep meaning to get a padawan, look, here is our padawan”
- the council and qui-gon try to argue but anakin is already being held by the wookie, who is making sure his new little padawan is warm, poor cub has no fur and was visibly shivering, why had no one gotten him a robe? He’s wearing clothing woven for a desert climate for force’s sake.
- Yavanna and Lowbacca are like, no, the force says this is our padawan, who we’ve been waiting for, he’s ours now, the jedi council should be able to understand the will of the force shouldn’t they?
- Yavanna to Qui-gon - yes you found him, but you have a padawan and he doesn’t need to be tossed to the wayside.
- Qui-gon tries to argue that Yavanna is essentially a researcher, she goes out to find old holocrons and texts and just, information on the force. She’s a very active librarian. Yavanna’s like, yeah, he won’t even need to stay here to get lessons since I’m a walking library. Lowbacca’s an expert ‘saber fighter, he’s even bested Master Dooku in a training duel. But Lowbacca’s main job seems to be pulling you out of trouble...so he’ll be able to pull our padawan out of trouble too.
- the council is like, uh two jedi can’t share a padawan...the force says we can
- by this point anakin’s fallen asleep during the arguing because Yavanna and Lowbacca’s force signatures remain calm and solid, and the training bond has already hooked up between them (anakin’s force senses had been trying to find stability and something to hold onto since he’d had to leave his mother).
- eventually Qui-gon and the council capitulate and Anakin is named Padawan Leaner to Knights’ Yavanna and Lowbacca.
- anakin wants to go with everyone back to naboo and Yavanna and lowbacca agree, this is essentially his first mission, as they wouldn’t have been able to get this far without the boy.
- things go pretty much the same way, only anakin is given some basic meditation training on the way over and a bit of a “here’s how to shove bad things away 101″ since they are taking a child into a warzone.
- anakin is still in the ship and still ends up engaging the auto pilot, however, with just a bit of instruction on how to focus, anakin is much quicker at destroying the control ship, with his awareness of the forces guidance heightened.
- qui-gon doesn’t die as he has two knights as well as his padawan to assist him in fighting darth maul.
- aftwerward anakin leaves with his new masters off to the first of many adventures
- and if the first adventure is on tatooine freeing his mother, well, Yavanna and Lowbacca must always follow the force and there are interesting caves that might have jedi/sith/force user stuff in them...
- and if they “forget” bags of rations and some blasters in those caves, after giving the newly freed shmi a scanner built after anakin had had his chip removed, and the boy was able to study it and to build the right kind of scanner, well, Yavanna wasn’t the most with it of jedi and something or someone might be able to put those useful resources to use.
- he learns a lot, in the following years, how to read and write and speak a variety of languages and dialects from ancient to current.
- they face fights, of course, some battles turn into peace talks, some into having to take prisoners, some, thankfully rarely, into death matches. Anakin learns how to fight in different ways, is he fighting to defeat? distract? defend? a combo? He learns to understand in seconds what his fights are for.
- he learns how to care for animals, and how to use the force to back down frightend or territorial ones. He even learns herding, as sometimes they need a local guide to find what they are looking for, and that’s often a child who has chores, and quite often, anakin gets to do those chores in their stead.
- it doesn’t bother him, sometimes it’s been lowbacca to stay back, when it was a larger person to lead them, and the wookie never acted like he was to good to mind children or wash cloths, or plow or harvest a field.
- sometimes anakin helps anyway, as waiting for Yavanna to translate a wall over months can be pretty boring, and if washing, minding live stock, clothes in a river or plowing a field isn’t the most riveting thing anakin’s ever done, it’s at least something.
- if there is any tech, anakin is much more in his element and is doubly welcomed, as he is clever with anything mechanical and many places they go don’t have the funds for new things.
- anakin learns basic field medicine, as well as local cures and remedies wherever they go, and is often asked to report to the healing halls on return as he’s good at remembering things and the healers are always interested in new ideas and new learning.
- he in point of fact finds himself half apprenticed to a healer, when he finds out that anakin was the closet thing to a doctor many of the being they interacted with saw, besides perhaps a wisewoman or shaman. Horrified, the healer commands anakin to report to him when he can so that anakin has better than field medic skills to offer
- anakin already new how to tend to children, but he still gets plenty of practice.
- anakin learns how to say goodbye, with each place they go, he often makes friends among the other children and depending how long they stay, can determine how tight their friendships become. But he learns to say goodbye, and that goodbyes are not always bad. He is not having to see a friend sold into slavery away from him, only that their paths are parting, it makes things easier.
- anakin learns how to let go, not, not feel, but how to feel and still let go. it’s a hard lesson, and learned many times, but it’s how life is. From an old woman who was kind to him, who passed in her sleep, and anakin attended the funeral, to having to leave behind an injured revolutionary (who was a good friend already) because it was needful that the information anakin had to get to the leaders and he couldn’t wait for the injured man. and even when he looses a patient, he has to contact master Ten-ri, his healing instructor, to aid him through that time. It was just a sickness, anakin had even managed to beat it in the village and discover a workable cure but the child was simply to weak, and she died holding anakins hand.
-  anakin learns his value as a person in these years, and the value of others. Master Ten-ri tells him that not many seek to be healers, for it can be a painful path, but that he is proud of anakins work. Anakin learns that no job is to little or to big for a jedi, one may need to ask for help or instruction in it, but fixing the vaportors in one small desert village is just as important as aiding a planetwide revolution against a corrupt government.
- anakin is not held to ridiculous standards, he almost never sees the council or qui-gon, though he has gotten to see obi-wan off and on and he finds he really likes and admires the jedi. Who had been a bit distant at first but steadily warms up to anakin over time.

"THE RISE OF SKYWALKER" as I would have liked it to be (fanfic)
I saw "the rise of the skywalker" at the cinema and I didn't like it. In addition to the criticisms that everyone made and which I fully agree with, I believe that it is not only a "betrayal" of the previous film, but precisely of the sense of the great moral strength of the original saga. I thought that even I, who am a man with no talent for writing, could have done better and I decided to do it. The following is a similar script that contains the main dialogues that for me had to be present to conclude the saga and explain to the public what there was to understand. The action scenes are not described, if not a generic "battle in the space" and the comic scenes (which are an essential part of the complete films) are completely absent, I leave the reader the space to imagine them. Finally, I ask you for clemency considering that everything was done in a few hours. If you think it would have been better than what the film actually is (because that's what it is, let's make a reason for it), give it a thumbs up.
warning, this is a google translation from itaian original.
titles that flow
3 years have passed since KYLO REN became the supreme leader of the first order, meanwhile the resistance, thanks to POE DAMERON, has reorganized, finding new allies and more modern means. Thanks to this, the resistance managed to get some victories.
Unfortunately LEIA ORGANA's health has deteriorated, and now it seems that she has little to live on. For this reason, all the main exponents of the resistance rushed to his bedside, even REY, who interrupted his JEDI studies just to run to the princess
SCENE 1
everyone is at the bedside of Leia, who appears very weak, when Rey also arrives, so the princess asks to speak only with her.
rey: Leia, how are you? you're making us all worried!
leia: I feel that the forces are abandoning me, my body and my heart have gone too far, that's why I made you come, there is one last thing I feel I have to do.
rey: is it about Ben?
leia: yes, even if we have never fully dealt with the subject, I feel that something has happened between you two, something that goes beyond fighting against the first order; as a mother I wish I could at least understand ...
rey: he ... killed Snoke to save me and then asked me to reign over the galaxy together and I ... (looks down) I was tempted to accept. Even today I continue to think about this offer and see myself on that throne next to him ...
leia: I had imagined something like this, Ben has always been a kindhearted child, but he has always had difficulty managing his emotions and externalizing his feelings; as a mother I ask you to try to understand and forgive him in spite of everything, I am sure that if she did these things it is because she really loves you. After my father he too seems to be the victim of a curse, but you have a strong heart, promise me that you will try to break it ...
rey: (sketching a smile) okay, if you ask ...
leia: thank you my dear, I know that Ben has understood that you love him too…. (with less and less voice) now I have done all I had to, I can also rest in peace.
Leia dies, the others come too and everyone is sad and downcast. Phrases of circumstance.
SCENE 2
change shot, the coffin is loaded on the Millennium Falcon while Chewbecca, C-3PO and R2-D2 also rise, with rey talking to Chewbe, Rey and the others are on the ground.
roses: where will they take it?
finn: on Naboo, where there is also the tomb of Han solo.
rey: Chewbe ...
chewbecca: (makes his verse)
rey: maybe you're right, this is our war and it is right that our generation will fight it, but i will miss you. I hope one day we can all meet again.
the Falcon leaves and Rey sadly returns to a building alone. Here he realizes that a connection in force with Kylo is about to begin. On the edges there are also r2-d2 and c-3po who will remain on Naboo as guardians of the tombs of their masters, since they are not heirs of Han and Leia still alive.
kylo: (contemptuously) oh, after all this time, you finally deigned to grant me your presence.
rey: (sad) Ben! I must tell you that your mother ... is no longer among us ...
kylo: I know, I felt it in the force.
rey: (angry) why ?? why you have to be like this, she was your mother, a wonderful woman and it seems that you don't care!
kylo: here is little orphan Rey looking for parents who makes me moral! you don't know anything and you want to give lessons to everyone !!
Rey takes a look between the injured and the angry, but the connection ends. Meanwhile, Poe and Finn arrive and tell her to prepare, because they have to go to a planet to meet a spy in the first order.
A droid enters Kylo's room
droid: supreme leader, the meeting is about to begin, the general staff is already present
kylo: the meeting is canceled, now go away, i want to be alone until tomorrow.
SCENE 3
When they arrive, however, they are attacked by an assassin and go in pursuit. However, this is a trap and it turns out that Rey is the target, suspected of being Palpatine's granddaughter and that she may therefore be "enlisted" by the followers of the old empire. Arrived at their refuge, the bandits capture Rose and FInn
bandito1: the game is over! surrender and give us the girl.
finn: Rey! you don't have to give yourself up, we can't allow the first order to win!
bandito2: you don't know what you're saying, we'll take down the first order!
rose: (surprise) but we are the resistance! if you are against the first order you are on our side!
bandito2: on your maybe, certainly not on the side of the jedi girl.
finn: are you kidding? she is our best ally!
bandito2: that's why I say you don't know what you're talking about! our sources have clearly indicated that among the nostalgics of the old empire they have identified the granddaughter of Emperor Palpatine in an abandoned girl on Jakku. They want to make her the new leader, not only by recruiting a good part of the first-order army, but also by many who have not yet lined up.
rose: it is not possible, even if she was really Palpatine's granddaughter, she would never accept being the puppet of the empire! you don't know it!
bandit1: and you don't understand how dangerous this thing is. We will not allow this risk to be realized!
In the end, however, Rey and Poe manage to defeat them and put them on the run, even if the angry version of Rey makes the bandits exclaim that he is the worthy heir of Palpatine.
poe: I can't believe it, but are you really Palpatine's granddaughter? this would explain your predisposition to force!
rey: No !! I'm just Rey and not somebody's granddaughter.
poe: but ...
rey: that's enough, I don't want to talk about it anymore !!
poe: ok…. but…
rey: then !!!
finn and rose: come on Poe, stop it here!
SCENE 4
Back at the meeting place, they stop at an inn, where Finn, Poe, Rose and Rey sit at a table and start talking while waiting.
poe: I still can't believe ...
rey: Poe !!
poe: ... that Leia is dead! (the other 3 nod) I knew her since I was little, for me she and Han were invincible heroes and instead look what a sad fate they had !! and all because of Kylo Ren. First he killed her son, then her husband! and then she died of pain too; at least he will be able to rest next to Han, his son never found his body.
finn: but how, you don't know? Kylo Ren is the son of Han and Leia.
poe: what ????? Ben's wimp is Kylo Ren? .... at the same time I am surprised and not surprised. I mean, he was the guy who stands alone in a corner and never speaks to you, but at the same time he was making a lot of trouble when he got angry. Now that I think about it, he actually blew things around him by force, in desperation his parents had to send him to his uncle Luke. Who expected it to become so powerful if I think about how hard it was when he tortured me !! what did he do to you, Rey ?
rey: (sadly) did nothing to me.
finn: what if he caught you and questioned you? that is a ruthless man, we have seen what he is capable of !!
rey: (with more determination, but always sad) no, he didn't hurt me during the interrogation, indeed he never tried to really hurt me.
poe: (absorbed in his thoughts) killed his father !! and he probably tried to kill her too, I believe that Leia died of pain !! That's a monster capable only of bringing ruin ...
rey: no, he ...
SCENE 5
rey realizes that a connection in the force is about to begin, so he gets up in a hurry and runs away to the back (closet?) of the place.
finn: Poe, look what you've done!
poe: but I ...
finn: Rey wait !!
rose: stop! let me talk to you, you two have already done enough damage
meanwhile, hidden from prying eyes, the connection between Rey and Kylo has begun.
kylo: what a surprise, after only a month you speak to me! and this time it was you who called me ...
rey: it was certainly not the result of my will
kylo: Snoke is dead and I didn't try to contact you ..
rey: (smiling) so in the past you've been looking for me
kylo: (embarrassed) certainly not to offer you to be by my side again. But you still haven't told me why you activated the connection.
rey: I repeat that I didn't do it on purpose, perhaps discovering that even as a child you was not well seen by others, although in those days you had a heart for good, it connected us again.
kylo: I was just pathetic and weak back then. Thanks to the dark side I now have the strength I need.
rey: yet there is still some good in you, even if you do everything to make me forget it.
kylo: The mistake you made showing me mercy won't make me falter, I know you don't care about me, just your rebellion. Well, I will destroy you and let you contemplate your defeat !!
rey: how can you say this Ben! all that we have gone through, all our feelings, I know that you also perceived them in the force! why don't you go back to the light side!
kylo: never! only on the dark side will I be able to fulfill my destiny, the galaxy needs order and only a strong leader can guarantee it. Giving to feelings has brought me only misery, the next time we meet we will be enemies, be prepared.
rey: (angry) I already beat you and I will do it again, I was just a fool trying to forgive you.
the connection ends, and Rey starts crying desperately. Rose enters the room and the girls embrace each other.
rose: Rey, I'm sorry, I ...
rey: Rose!
rose: I saw you talking alone to the wall. You were talking to Kylo Ren, weren't you? (Rey nods) do you love him?
rey: i don't know, all i feel now is my broken heart
rose: but I've seen you make the most beautiful smile of these three years. Come on, let's go back to the table.
Rose and Rey return to the table where Finn and Poe are waiting for them worried.
rey: well, i ...
poe: Rey, sorry, we said too much
finn: yes, sorry, we didn't want to sadden you
rose: ok, let's end it here, let's not forget that we came with a purpose.
rey: (angry) in fact, we have to defeat the first order !!
Finn looks at Rose with a questioning look, and she nods to him that there is no need to investigate
poe: right! indeed the spy should be here by now, his identity will be a surprise.
a hooded man approaches the table and when he takes off his hood he turns out to be Hux.
rey, finn and rose: You !!!
finn: why, you are the supreme general!
hux: why I can't stand Ren being the supreme leader! I prefer everything to go down the drain than to submit to him.
poe: whatever his reason for us is a unique opportunity to defeat the first order.
hux: right. But let's not stay here, let's go to a more secluded place.
leaving the room they find soldiers with weapons in hand ready to arrest them
poe: what does this mean?
finn: I knew it couldn't be trusted!
hux: for these years I have been your spy and I have also provided you with modern means, but now things have changed.
rose: what do you mean?
hux: it is very simple, we have discovered that there is a descendant of the emperor Palpatine still alive, thanks to her all the old guard will rise against Ren, I will be able to see his ruin and remain in my place. You don't need me anymore, I just have to eliminate uncomfortable witnesses. Goodbye!
poe: it's Rey! Rey is the one you are looking for. she is Palpatine's granddaughter.
hux appears surprised, but seems to believe in poe.
hux: if it really is, it means that we are still allies, but only if the girl accepts her role
rey: never! I will never associate with anyone who wants to restore the empire !!
hux: don't be in a hurry, if you really want to bring down Ren you don't have much choice, there are whole cruisers ready to die for you, just for who you are. When you have made a decision, in the meantime our little collaboration will continue.
Hux and his men board a ship. Left on the ground, the four confront each other with different feelings.
rey: Poe, how could you!
poe: but we are alive! that's what counts!
finn: are we allied with Hux ?? it's a nightmare!
poe: but think about how many resources and what advantage we can have!
rose: i feel bad
poe: this is our chance to destroy the first order from the inside !!
on the ship Hux and his crew seem satisfied
officer1: we fell for it! they really believe that Jakku's waste hunter is the emperor's grandson!
hux: in fact, leaking the news first to the bandits was an excellent idea. Now at least a third of the troops will turn against Ren and at the same time the alliance will cause him many troubles. When they are all exhausted we will intervene and the whole galaxy will be ours!
SCENE 7
meeting of the general staff, an important rebel base was identified.
hux: then we will deploy four cruisers, but I also suggest a hunting fleet, to intercept any fugitives.
kylo: well, I expect an overwhelming victory. We proceed.
the first order fleet arrives and starts bombing the planet. Meanwhile Kylo feels that Rey is there, takes his shuttle and goes down to face it. As the battle rages on, the duel between Kylo and Rey also begins. Although their strength equals, Kylo eventually disarms and lands her. Instead of giving her the coup de grace, she stops and lowers his sword
rey: do you call this order? I only see violence and destruction
kylo: this is only the consequence of the disorder brought about by your useless rebellion, sacrifices must be made!
rey: then come on, sacrifice me too to your thirst for power, sacrifice the whole galaxy.
Finn and Rose also arrive, trying to save Rey by shooting at Kylo, but as he did with Poe, he manages to block the laser and the two assailants.
kylo: Rey, I never lied to you and I never really wanted to kill you. I won't even do it today, take my vehicle and your friends if you want and leave, forget about this war, if you are not ready to make sacrifices.
rey: i'm ready to sacrifice myself.
kylo: I also had to sacrifice something, my humanity
rey looks painfully at kylo
kylo: that's why I'm letting you go. With my vehicle nobody will dare to stop you.
rey, finn and rose start, but rey first says one last thing to kylo
rey: Ben, at least I want you to know that I was really tempted to accept your proposal that time, just because I know there is still some good in you.
that said, they leave while Kylo rejoins the troops. Meanwhile Poe decides to call Hux.
Poe: then we agree. Tell everyone that the girl accepted the inheritance of her grandfather Palpatine.
Hux in his room smiles.
SCENE 8
the news of Palpatine's heir had its effect, many were the defections of the old admirals, which also joined some local troops, while resistance seems to have intensified. The first order has suffered big losses, but it is reorganizing itself and launching a counterattack. In the Kylo war room, Hux and the other officers are preparing the decisive battle in the solar system of Naboo. The plan includes a battle between space cruisers and a battle on the ground for control of the planet. After the meeting everyone returns to their rooms, first we follow Hux, who has a secret meeting with his loyalists and ren's knights.
hux: everything is going according to plan, the final battle will be on Naboo, when we are at the end of our strength we will also intervene and finally we will triumph our ideal. Kylo and the girl, however, you will have to eliminate them, knights of ren, and thus carry out your revenge.
officer1: and what about resistance?
hux: we will also need them to balance the forces on the field, but we must provide them with new means; where can we meet them?
official2: Jakku is a loyal planet and far enough away, we can fix it there.
hux: perfect, prepare everything.
the scene moves to Kylo's room where Luke appears as a ghost of strength.
kylo: it looks like i can't get rid of you, even after your death.
luke: Ben, I warned you that if I hit me I would always be with you. I'm here to warn you; the path you have taken will not bring you anything good and you know it too, otherwise why would you have let Rey go, with a meaningless excuse?
kylo: killing her would only make way for unnecessary feelings that a leader cannot have to hold the galaxy together, as when I killed Han Solo.
luke: at least you're admitting that you have feelings for her. Don't make the same mistake as your grandfather, believe in who believes in you!
kylo: (snorts) the only thing that interests her are her friends and her resistance, I was just a means of getting rid of Snoke. it was only because of the little Ben Solo that was left in me that he was able to achieve his goal, but now even that small part of me has gone with her.
luke: amazing, once again everything you said is wrong! it is precisely because that part of you that you think has disappeared becomes stronger every day that I can be here in front of you. and if you look clearly in strength, you will also know that for Rey you are as important as she is for you.
luke vanishes and kylo remains alone and thoughtful
SCENE 9
Poe, Finn and Rose (and others of the resistance) meet on Jakku
poe: guys, how are you? and Rey?
rose: we are fine, but Rey is quite down, being defeated by Kylo Ren was a serious blow and the fact that you made her famous as a Palpatine made her anything but pleasure.
finn: I still managed to contact her during her training and she said she will come.
meanwhile they walk through the village where Rey worked, it seems bigger and with more life. Rey is coming.
rey: Poe, how could you !!
poe: you're right, but I won't apologize. The situation was desperate and thanks to my decision the first order is now faltering.
rey: you don't understand, I'm not Palpatine's granddaughter !!!
poe: how can you say that? a hidden girl on Jakku, sensitive to force, is practically your description.
rey: I repeat to you that it's impossible!
poe: even if it were, the description fits perfectly and thanks to this we have broken the power of Kilo Ren.
rose: Rey, why are you so sure you're not Palpatine's granddaughter?
rey: (ashamed) because ... because ... because my parents were the bad guys who sold me for buying a drink.
everyone is surprised and embarrassed
finn: Rey, how did the training go?
rey: honestly, badly. It seems that no matter how much effort it takes, I have less and less strength ..
poe: and this is where I enter the scene! don't worry about your loss of shape, today they will give us new means by which we can finally destroy Ren and his kingdom !!
in the meantime some people are approaching, including the old woman seen in the foece awakening that worked with Rey.
man1: Rey, it's you then! I didn't think I would see you again!
rey: man1, how nice to see you again !, Old woman! but how are you?
old: since you left things have changed a lot and for the better
rey: what happened?
man1: the supreme leader Kylo Ren !!
old woman: yes, one day he came here with his troops and freed us. Now we no longer work for the minimum food ration in order not to die, but we receive a fair compensation. As you can see we have money and we can afford to live in real houses by putting something aside.
man1: here we are all loyal to the supreme leader. some even enlisted to fight alongside him. what are you doing here?
rey: (visibly confused) well, I have deals I have to attend to.
after greeting the old acquaintances, he heads out of the country to meet Hux for the delivery of new fighters. After the resistance took possession of the new means, while they are heading towards Naboo, Rey decides to deviate the route and go to Ahch-too.
SCENE 10
Rey gets out of Kylo's vehicle and heads determinedly towards the dark side area.
luke: Rey, you won't find any answer there!
rey: master Luke! how can you still be here?
luke: I became a ghost of force, because I still had something to teach you.
rey: master Luke, I'm confused, I don't know what is right anymore! I thought I could stop Ben, to bring justice back to the galaxy, that he only wanted to crush the population !!
luke: and why are you confused now?
rey: he came to Jakku and really freed everyone who was in my same situation. If I think about how much we waited for someone to make such a noble gesture! and instead now in the resistance we speak only of destruction ... I thought I could distinguish between right and wrong, but now I don't know anymore !!
luke: Rey, every generation has to face their choices and understand where the right and the wrong are. Open your heart to the force and you will find the answers.
rey: now i just feel that my heart is broken, master luke, help me.
luke: maybe knowing my family history will help you. As you know my father was Dart Vader, but his real name was Anakin Skywalker and together with his mother he was a slave boy with no future on Tatoonie, despite the fact that the republic still existed at that time.
rey: I didn't know this was his origin, I feel I have a lot in common with him, this thing scares me a little ...
luke: not many know these details, we often like to idealize the past and see only what we want. One day, however, a very particular group of people arrived who had broken the course, They were a young girl with her escort who also included Jedi, since that girl was the queen of Naboo and was also my mother, Padme Amidala. Incidentally they came into contact with my father and realized that his predisposition to the force was exceptional and then redeemed him to make him a jedi, convinced that he was the boy announced by an old prophecy according to which he would restore balance in the force. However at the end of his training, when he was already an adult, he met my mother again and they fell in love. But a jedi cannot bind to an exclusive love, moreover she had become a senator and she feared that the scandal would overwhelm not only her life , but also his work and therefore decided to marry in secret. I think this was the beginning of my father's descent to the dark side.
rey: do you mean that those who undertake the ways of the force must forget their affections? what are we fighting for then?
luke: it was the vanity in wanting to keep up appearances, the greed of not facing the consequences of one's choices that placed malice in their hearts. from here the tragedy began. If they had acted in the open, they certainly would have had to give up the life they had known until then, but they could have started a new one, in the light of the sun. Instead, due to the constant fear of losing everything, my father let himself be seduced by the dark side, became a sith in the service of Chancellor Palpatine and together they destroyed the Jedi and established the regime of the empire. My mother was unable to follow him on this path and so, after giving birth to my sister and me, she died from the pain of having lost the love of her life.
rey: it's a very sad story, I feel that it touches me deeply, I see so much of the relationship between Ben and me. But how did you manage to defeat your father and the emperor?
luke: (laughing) but I didn't defeat the emperor, it was my father!
rey: how ?? but wasn't he a disciple of his? I knew that you had faced and defeated them to destroy the empire.
luke: it was true that I was part of the resistance and that I had already clashed with Vader, but when I finally found out that he was my father, I understood why I always felt uncomfortable dealing with him: he was still good in him and I could no longer ignore him . So I left the political struggle aside and decided that I wanted to bring my father back into the light. Once in his presence, however, there was also the emperor, who manipulating our feelings pushed us to fight in order to bring me to the dark side; It was in the heat of battle that I realized that from violence I would get nothing, so I threw my sword. The emperor took advantage of the thing to attack me and this moved my father, who understood that the love he felt for me, his son, exceeded all the life he had spent in the dark side and killed him the emperor, dying he too shortly thereafter.
Rey looks thoughtful for a while, then shows a serene look.
rey: thanks master Luke, now i know what i have to do. And sorry, but I can't be a jedi ...
luke: Rey, may the force be with you!
rey leaves
SCENE 10
the main scene is the battle between loyalist and separatist cruisers, with an uncertain outcome, and battles on the ground around the royal palace can also be seen. Kylo Ren is located there. Rey arrives and manages to land as a member of the resistance in the separatist controlled area. At this point Hux reveals his cards and attacks both factions by bringing them to their knees. In particular, with two knights of Ren assaults Rey and nostalgic officers (separatists).
SCENE 11
separatista1: Hux, what does this mean?
hux: (laughing satisfied) that you all fell into my trap. But did you really believe that the emperor could have had a child he cared about? and that a waste rummage was his granddaughter? nostalgic fools blinded by pride like my father. And you will end it.
rey: it won't go as you think, Ben and I will stop you.
hux: I don't know who this Ben is, but you're going to have a bad end. Knights of Ren fix them all !!
rey fights against the two riders of ren and manages to defeat them, at this point he also captures Hux.
separatista1: will you kill us now?
rey: why should i?
separatista2: because we have been defeated.
rey: I don't kill anyone for such a reason, consider yourself defeated and under arrest though.
separatista1: certainly, there is still a minimum of honor left in us.
rey: perfect, and keep hux in custody too.
hux: what do you think you can do now? Kylo will be dead too, you have defeated two of the knights, but the rest have gone to look after him.
Rey then takes a vehicle and leaves for kylo.
SCENE 12
Kylo fights against Ren's knights and defeats them, but is injured
SCENE 13
Kylo is sitting on a staircase when Rey arrives with the activated sword.
kylo: in the end they sent you to kill me? apparently I can't escape this fate.
rey: you're wrong, i didn't come to take your life, but the opposite. (turns off the sword and throws it away). I finally made it clear in my heart: I love you and I know that you love me too, and I don't want to live a day away from you anymore. But at the same time I cannot follow you on the path of the dark side, so I beg you, go back to the light side and I will stay with you whatever life you decide to do; it doesn't matter that you want to be the new emperor, a smuggler like your father was, a farmer like your uncle and a scavenger  like I have been doing all my life, as long as I can be with you it will be the best life I can have.
kylo: (visibly shaken) it is too late for me now, I have committed too many crimes, I have killed my own father and my mother and my uncle are also dead because of me.
rey: you have a whole life to remedy the evil you have done and I will always be by your side. I always knew everything you did as Kylo Ren, but I fell in love with you anyway.
kylo: are you sure what you want? I never thought that Ben Solo could deserve to be loved.
rey: Kylo Ren is just the mask you hid behind all this time, I know, I could know your heart, it's Ben's!
kylo: and your resistance friends? what do you call your family? I don't think they'll ever accept me, are you ready to say goodbye to them?
rey: they will always have a special place in my heart, but i can go on living even if they decide not to want to see me anymore, if i lose you i know i would end up like your grandmother. I would simply stop living.
kylo: I've already made you plead too much, the truth is that I can't tell you no whatever request you make. The same things you said are true for me too, in these three years it has seemed to me that I am no longer alive, I regretted every single day that I did not do more to convince you to grab my hand in the Snoke tron room. But…
meanwhile Rey has approached Kylo and, smiling, puts her hand on his face
rey: but?
kylo: I feel I don't deserve all this, to be loved, to be happy.
rey: i know we both deserve it
Rey approaches his mouth and they kiss
kylo: I'm afraid we won't be able to enjoy it for long, unless you find a doctor ...
SCENE 14
Kylo continues to lose blood, Rey takes him to the royal palace in search of treatment. They find C3PO which recognizes Rey and Ben as the son of Leia and Han and consequently as the last real descendant of Naboo, and so the staff takes courage and takes care of Ben. Meanwhile, the last remaining force on the field is the resistance that is determined to kill Kylo Ren. The rebels surround the royal palace and put it under siege
SCENE 15
Poe orders the few guards to turn Kylo Ren over to him, but gets refused, so they prepare for the siege. When the fight is about to begin Rey arrives.
poe: Rey, how nice to see you! did you defeat Kylo Ren? we won?
rey: no. Ben is fine and I'm not here to fight him. (to everyone) The battle is over, there is no reason to fight anymore, please go away.
poe: what do you mean? all the other armies are gone, this is our chance to kill Kylo and free the galaxy.
Rey retrieves his sword with force and ignites it.
rey: I'm not going to let anyone hurt Ben.
everyone is flabbergasted, especially finn, while Rose seems almost happy.
finn: Rey, what does that mean? Did Kylo Ren do anything to you ??
rey: i'm acting of my will, friends, please, there is no more reason to fight.
finn: but why, how come you defend Kylo Ren ??
rey: (hesitates for a moment) because I love him!
poe: I can't believe it, you have betrayed our ideals for a couple of beautiful eyes !! leave us no choice but the clash !!
finn: Poe, wait! Rey is a friend of ours, we have to give her credit.
poe: you too? but what's wrong with you all? if we don't kill him now we will regret it in the future !!
rose: but if we act in this way, how will we be better than the first order?
the rest of the rebels appear confused, some are on the side of Poe, others on the side of Finn
finn: I'm tired of fighting, if Rey says there is a hope of bringing peace back, I believe her.
rose: and me too!
rey: guys, thanks!
poe: I can't believe my ears !! Rey who passes on to the enemy for a crush, you who give her credit because you are tired !! but have you forgotten about our dead comrades? that he established a dictatorial regime? I can't give up now !!
walking with difficulty Ben also arrives.
ben: what is this noise, sweethart?
Poe acts instinctively and shoots Ben, but Rey blocks the laser with his sword.
rey: Ben, come on, lean on me
Ben puts his arm around Rey's shoulders, the two look at each other and smile.
rose: you see? we must fight to protect what we love and not to destroy what we hate! Rey is our friend, let's trust her!
poe: Rey, how long have you been cheating on us? I can't believe I didn't notice anything !!
Ben gestures Poe's rifle away.
ben: measure words, you're talking to your empress! (addressing everyone) the war is over, my men are coming. But do not fear, no harm will be done to you, you are free; indeed from now on we will build a new galaxy together.
among the rebels, the reactions are varied, there are those who seem happy, those who are sad. Poe leaves evidently angry immediately, while Finn and Rose embrace each other enthusiastically.
SCENE 16
Finn and Rose visit Rey, they are in a very beautiful room and she is dressed in precious clothes, there is a mannequin with Padme's wedding dress, it is what Rey will also use for her wedding with Kylo. After some general chat they start talking about their new life.
rose: if I think about how we were a few months ago! especially you Rey, you are about to become our empress !!
rey: don't tell me about it, i'm terrified! already so I am overwhelmed by commitments, I dare not imagine what to expect.
finn: it's the same for us too. Reconstitute the senate and work with all those people who have ideas often opposed to ours, it's a nightmare believe me !! I don't know how Ben does it.
finn: by the way, but how did this Skywalker dynasty come to mind?
rey: well, he's always been particularly proud of his origins, so he came up with this embarrassing idea. Among the others.
rose: that is? tell us tell us, what else is embarrassing?
rey: it's actually just sweet and does everything to spoil me, it's just that I'm not used to it at all. But let's talk about you too, is it really so hard to deal with people of the first order?
roses: a little bit, but at least they are all interested in doing the good of the galaxy, even if someone would have preferred to roast it with a laser! But perhaps this time, by putting all the issues together we can build a better future than we would have expected.
rey: but how are things going between you in the private sector?
finn and rose: (embarrassed) well…. but we don't always talk about us !!
rey chuckles.
rey: uh, have you had contact with Poe?
finn: (seriously) well, to tell the truth it's not that he took all this history of the empire well, but at least he found something to do ... the smuggler. You know he always admired Han.
rey: I'm glad you still feel, and let him know that the door here is always open, but the part of the smuggler ... maybe it's better that I pretend I haven't heard, given the role I'm about to play.
rose: ok, now just chat, FInn go out that Rey has to prepare for the ceremony, now there are few hours left.
the ceremony is held on the same staircase as the other scene, the officiant is halfway up. Ben and Rey arrive and say yes and then kiss.
Then they start to climb again and two thrones-like chairs have been placed at the top of the staircase and the two spouses are announced to the people as Emperor Ben Solo and Empress Rey Solo of the Skywalker dynasty. The celebrations start and at the end we see the silhouettes of Ben and Rey kissing again.

Summary: On Exegol, Ben and Rey defeat Darth Sidious together, as they finally are able to start their lives together.
***
Ben felt Rey was near. He ran, after just defeating his former Knights of Ren. His legacy's lightsaber was in hand as he turned the rocky corner, knowing he was heading in the right direction.
He then saw her. Rey used the force to slam one of the red guards to the ground, pushing him away. In front of Ben, the last red guard had a blaster pointed at Rey. He immediately raised his left hand and used the force to smack the guard to the ground, away from them.
He walked towards her knowing his reason to live. It was to be with her, that's all that mattered. Her expression of hope and determination matched his own as they stared intently at each other, knowing what they were going to do.
They turned with their lightsabers ignited, facing the greatest evil the Galaxy had ever known.
The Emperor, known as Darth Sidious, wore dark robes covering his scarred head. He looked ancient and decrepit, meant to be dead for decades but was sitting on his throne before them.
Upon seeing the grandson of his former apprentice and the scavenger girl, he laughed, seeing their weapons raised at him! "You two are weak together—You don't carry the power of the dark side!"
"We don't need the dark side. We are stronger together than apart," Rey remarked, looking defiant.
"Oh? Scavenger girl, you were never my granddaughter. You could never be an Empress." He grinned. "I lied to bring you here together."
"I don't need to be an Empress to have any standing. I've always been Rey of Jakku. Your lies and deceit are as old as your throne."
Sidious laughed. "Good... Good," he said in good humor. He turned to the last Skywalker. "You, my boy, had all the potential I thought you would. The blood of Vader, pity." He shook his head in despair.
"The blood of Skywalker and Solo runs through me, that's all I need," Ben said confidently. Rey staring at Sidious, felt the corner of her lips lift at hearing Ben's words.
Sidious sarcastically smiled, "Oh, yes, son of the swindler, Han Solo, and the traitorous Princess of Alderaan." He snarled at their son. "When I learned of her home planet's destruction, I was delighted to know we vanquished that traitorous planet along with your grandparents—Or wait." He looked up in thought. "But your other family died long before that, didn't they?" He smiled, showing what was left of his teeth, which was not much. He laughed perversely.
Ben knew of his mother's real parents. He wouldn't allow this old man—
"Your grandmother Padme Amidala." He shook his head. "She was Queen and Senator and had promise as well, but when she knew what was coming, she died young, before her time and your—"
"I don't need to hear this from you!" Ben yelled in anger. Rey looked quickly at her other half, seeing the anger build on his face. She breathed slowly, and hopefully, through their connection, he would ease his anger. Seconds later, Ben breathed more slowly, his eyes not leaving the enemy.
"Your grandfather, Anakin Skywalker," he said with disgust. "You hold his saber with such strength," he said softly. "How you stand reminds me of your uncle—"
"Enough talking about my family. You manipulated me ever since I can remember! Your treachery on all of us ends now!" Ben growled. He pointed the legacy saber towards him.
Sidious nodded. "Ah..." He looked at Rey and smiled. "You two, a dyad in the force--Something that has not been seen in centuries is precious indeed." He continued his wicked smile and said, "And now it will be mine!" He quickly attacked them with force lightning.
Ben and Rey were quicker, blocking the lightning with their sabers and using all their strength to keep them standing.
Sidious laughed with pleasure as he continued his force lightning. Rey gritted her teeth, using all her strength to hold on. She felt Ben doing the same. They would defeat this evil, together. All they had was hope.
Suddenly, Sidious stopped and made as to catch his breath. He then laughed, force pushing Ben with one hand, knocking the saber out of his hold. "You will fall just as your grandfather did me!" He used his other hand to attack Rey with force lightning. She was quick and defended herself with Leia's saber.
"No!" Rey screamed. She saw Ben being pulled toward a pit but at the last second, the last Skywalker used both of his hands to use the force, pushing the Emperor off his throne, stopping his force lightning. Ben quickly flipped in the air and landed at the edge of the pit, picking up the legacy saber just before it fell into darkness.
Ben ignited the saber and ran towards Rey. They looked toward the Emperor, his back on the steps of the throne. He was gasping for air. "Fools!" He exclaimed. He sat on the steps and ignited his force lightning again.
Rey and Ben were more than ready this time and were starting to move towards him, pushing with all their might until they felt the presence of those from the past.
They were surrounded by Force Ghosts. Ben looked to his left, pushing the force lightning with his saber, and saw his uncle. "Luke, he whispered. Rey looked past Ben and acknowledged Luke with a nod. On the other side of Luke was a younger man with tousled hair like Ben's.
Anakin Skywalker said to his grandson, "I'm proud that the saber I built has been in good hands." He gave both him and Rey a half-smile, making his grandson raise his brows, seeing his real grandfather for the first time. "Let us help you," Anakin said as he, Luke, and others surrounding the dyad, used the force on Sidious to distract him.
The Sith Lord looked around at all the deceased: Yoda, Windu, Kenobi, Jinn, Secura, Allie, Tano, and the two Skywalkers. Sidious snarled and directed his force lightning at all of them.
With the Emperor's back to them, Rey looked at Ben, nodded her head, and together they ran towards him. Both stabbed him in the back, hearing him groan in pain. Ben said at last, "This is for my family." Ben let the saber pierce him further. He then pulled the saber back and decapitated him, his body falling with a thud. Rey and Ben stepped back.
"It's done," Rey said. She looked around, seeing the Force Ghosts look at them with gratitude.
Anakin stepped in front of them, putting his hand on Ben's shoulder. Ben could feel his touch. He looked at his grandfather in awe. "Remember, the Force will be with you two, always, as is your family." Anakin smiled, making Ben's eyes water. He looked at his uncle, who gave him a nod. He and Rey watched them disappear.
Ben closed his eyes, instantly feeling his mother. He felt a kiss on his cheek, the same cheek his father had caressed. He then heard, "We'll be with you, Ben, always," Leia whispered, making tears stream down Ben's cheeks. He nodded, believing her words. He opened his eyes and saw Rey staring at him. She lifted her hand, brushing his tears away. He held her hand with his as they looked at each other...
Until suddenly, all of Exegol threatened to collapse. Rey grabbed Ben's hand. "Hurry!" They ran together, making it to their ships. They turned and saw the last of Exegol fall into ruin. They looked above and saw the star destroyers falling, The First Order defeated!
Ben felt the warmth of Rey's hand. He looked down at their clasped hands, squeezing her hand gently. She looked up at him and saw his stare was on their hands. "Ben," she whispered. He looked at her and in an instant, her lips were on his. She finally kissed him, feeling him respond. She wrapped her arms around his neck, feeling his silky dark locks.
Ben had his arms around her waist, pulling her more into him. Rey pulled his hair gently as she felt him lift her; she wrapped her legs around his waist, enjoying this intimacy. She smiled against his lips before she felt he kissed her deeper, his tongue mingling with hers. She moaned, feeling something she never felt before, loved.
Suddenly, she broke their kiss, catching her breath. She caressed his cheek and said, "I'm so happy."
Ben nodded. "When I'm with you, I feel this was meant to be."
Rey nodded, feeling emotional, a tear ran down her right cheek. "Yes, me too." She kissed him again and all was right in the galaxy.
Days later, after leaving the Resistance and having everyone know Kylo Ren was dead but Han's and Leia's son, Ben Solo was finally, home, Rey and Ben were piloting the Millennium Falcon. She dressed in her gray robes from before as Ben wore clothes he retrieved from his father's closet, a white shirt and blue trousers.
"So, searching for kyber crystals first or... Naboo?"
Ben smiled. "Wherever you want to go."
Rey grinned. Ben had his hand on the levers, ready to go into hyperspace. Rey put her hand over his. "Ready?" She asked.
"Ready." Ben gave her a kiss, before they pushed the levers, going into hyperspace and starting their lives together.

Okay, I would like to say sorry for not updating anything lately. Things have not been the greatest and writing took a slight back burner in my mind lately. I apologise in advance if this seems a little rushed story wise. I hope I did alright with this chapter. It was a pain and a half to get down.
We are nearing the end of the story. I am not sure how many chapters there will be but it is nearing the end. I am sad to say that once I am done with this story I will probably be leaving it there and not continuing it on. I love Across the Stars and the universe that I have made but I am looking to do other stories now. My Qui-Gon Story part of the Across the Stars verse will likely be abandoned. I am sorry but even though I love this story with my whole heart, I am going to be moving on once the main story is complete.
Please enjoy this chapter and thank you for waiting.
Obi-Wan moved quickly over to The Doctor, feeling the tension that had risen in his body ease. The Doctor was here and Donna was poking her head through the door as well and honestly, Obi-Wan could not help the wide smile that crept onto his face.
The Doctor and Donna will be able to help the prisoners here with him. And they will be able to explain what they had found out about the two parents who had been keeping the park hostage. And they will be able to help find a Comm and…
And Donna pulled him into a tight hug, holding him close in a near crushing hug. Obi-Wan let out a small squeak but was quick to hold her back. The warmth and closeness of the hug was something he had only received a few times when in the Temple. Quinlan was away most of the time or in classes and he was the only one who would (or could for that matter) hug Obi-Wan like this. Many of the Masters discouraged such displays of affection, though he was never sure if it was because it showed affection or it was because they were both considered to be young hormonal boys.
He could faintly hear The Doctor walk around them and move towards the prisoners but that did not matter to Obi-Wan. Right now, all that mattered was this hug and the feeling of safety that it brought.
If Obi-Wan was pressed in the coming hours to tell someone what happened after The Doctor and Donna arrived in that small room that was more of a closet, he would honestly only be able to tell them that The Doctor took care of everything.
The Doctor freed the prisoners from the shock bands and woke the younglings. The Timelord was calm and steady, talking in a smooth, kind voice as he assisted everyone. Working together, the now freed adults and younglings were moved to the front of the building and away from that room. One of the Twi’leks, on the instructions of the owner of the park, left the group to go and find a Comm unit to hopefully call Judicial. They found a med kit in an office not too far from a working Comm and the adults began to patch each other up.
Donna gently pulled Obi-Wan to the side and away from the group, keeping him close and running her hand carefully through his mattered hair. “Are you alright Obi-Wan?” She asked quietly.
It took him a few moments to answer. “I think so.” He said softly, his shoulders sagging. “I’m… tired.” And he was. It had been a long day. He leaned into her shoulder and let her wrap her strong, steady arms wrap around him. “What happened to the boy and his parents?” He couldn’t help but ask. He could feel a faint light coming from the youngling that he now knew was in that room, but he could not tell how he was.
There was a small, shuddering sigh from the woman and the arms around him briefly tightened. “The boy has a few hours left. That machine he was hooked up to was old and the EMP damaged it. According to The Doctor, the boy only had a few weeks left, if that. He has Naboo Bone Disease apparently.”
Obi-Wan felt the breath catch in the back of his throat. The child only had… Obi-Wan felt a wave of nausea and bile rise up in his chest. “And the parents?” He asked faintly. Oh Force, that poor boy. There was no cure for that and it would have been painful. No wonder his parents had wanted him on that machine. It would have meant no pain and fun for the child.
Donna took a moment to answer. “They are spending the last few hours of their son’s life together and are going to turn themselves in when the judicial come.” She said, letting him go and looking down at him with a sad smile. “One of the hardest things you learn while traveling with The Doctor is that sometimes the villains of the story are not really the evil monsters we first think them to be. Sometimes they are just desperate people doing desperate things for the ones they love.”
“And we all know desperate people are dangerous people.” He murmured, closing his eyes briefly and letting out a slow, even breath through his nose. Desperate people do stupid things. Desperate people don’t care about the consequences. Desperate people are dangerous because they are desperate and when you are desperate you sometimes have no other option left. Or at least that was what his Masters had taught him back at the Temple.
He remembered more than once a visiting Master would tell them that when people get desperate they become dangerous. It is why uprisings and wars happen. Because sentient beings are dangerous when cornered or when they have no other option. He remembered very vaguely one Master with long hair saying that the most dangerous of desperate people are ones who are acting out of love for someone they care about. Those people are the ones who will cross all lines to get what they want or need.
Obi-Wan guessed that was what happened here. The parents were desperate to make their child happy and be no longer in pain. They just didn’t care who they hurt to make that happen.
Donna pulled Obi-Wan back into her arms and held him tight. He buried his head into her shoulders and held her back. This was not what he expected when The Doctor offered him an adventure. This was not fun or a good kind of exciting day. Yes, Obi-Wan had been trained to deal with these situations but being trained for these things and experiencing them were two vastly different things. His shields were fractured from the stress of the whole day. His body was exhausted. His wrist was still aching from when he twisted it the other day. He could feel the skin on his nose peeling. Everything that had happened just felt…
It felt too much. Too many emotions. Too many events. Too much of everything.
Obi-Wan wanted to have a cold shower, mediate and sleep for the next day or so. He just wanted everything to be over and he just wanted to rest. There was so many things he did still need to find out though. Like how the boy’s parents managed to get a hold of Lumence droids. How the workers were. If everyone was okay or not. He still needed to figure out how a training ‘Saber ended up in his bag and whether or not someone had noticed it was gone yet. Force, did anyone even know that he was gone yet?
Obi-Wan slowly lost himself in his thoughts and worries, drifting deeper and deeper into his own mind and doubts when he was all but yanked out by a slap on his back.
“You doing alright there, Obi-Wan?” The Doctor’s calm voice was quiet in his ear but the words were enough to pull him out of his head.
“Yeah.” He said softly with a small nod. He was not alright. He wasn’t at all. And judging from the looks on The Doctor’s and Donna’s faces, he knew that they did not believe him at all. But rather than press, The Doctor gave him a half smile.
“That’s good to here. Come on, then. We need to sneak out before judicial arrive and start asking questions.” The Doctor looked over his shoulder towards where the adults were with their younglings. “They have everything under control.”
A small part of Obi-Wan wanted to protest to them leaving. He wanted to help these people get to safety and to ensure that they all got the medical treatment they needed. He also wanted to make sure that the boy’s parents were safely delivered to judicial and that the boy was taken care of for what little time he had left.
But there was a bigger part of him that just wanted to rest. That wanted this all to be over and for him to be somewhere safe and quiet away from all the chaos and emotions that were surrounding him.
So, he gave a small nod and allowed himself to be lead past the adults, who all believed The Doctor when he said that he was getting Ben (Obi-Wan) some air, and out into the heat. His guardians walked by his side as they passed the rotting food and loud automated cheerful voices that came from the stalls and rides. They walked out of the gates and to the T.A.R.D.I.S without seeing anyone else and without being stopped.
Obi-Wan’s eyes blurred as he stepped into the darkened room of the T.A.R.D.I.S and if he was honest to himself, Obi-Wan was not sure if it was because of the sudden change of light that hurt his eyes or if it was because he felt the small bright light that clung to the sick boy in that room go out.
