"The entire Main City is just as cold and heartless as the Arbiter"
yeah im fine, no really i am, its just that I can't stop thinking about how the Lighthouse handed the Trial Court over to the military because no one there could handle, yk, being responsible for killing people day after day, knowing that there was a chance they were wrong. They were just researchers, so of course they couldn't handle that kind of environment. And yet. And yet. The lighthouse ended up making such crueller decisions.
The Trial Court looked at if you were infected or not. A yes or no. Sometimes they werent sure so they went with yes, but its still only two options. Kill or not. But the Lighthouse??? They decided who survived based on far vaguer parameters. First it was cut off the outer city. Ok, fine, clear line drawn. Then it was save only the twin towers. Lose all the citizens. These people did nothing wrong, and werent even infected, but they were cast off to give those more important a better chance. But thats not even the worst thing they did. The Lighthouse. The Lighthouse ranked every single researcher, based on their contributions to the base, and their ability. It compared every single person to another, and placed them in tiers.
Lu Feng can look someone in the eyes, see if they are infected, and shoot. Each shot is independant, and simple. But to rank every single person's value in relation to the other. Thousands of them. That takes another level of cold indifference.
Who would be able to handle that? Would you be able to handle that? I truly do not know what kind of person could have looked at a list of names, and ranked them, knowing that each decision decided whether or not this person could live, or would die, or could get a +1. How cruel. How cold. But then again, isnt that the point of the novel to question these things.
...They couldn't even grant those they left behind a quick death.

(I'm feeling this is a unfair ask because you barely started Post-Timeskip {or even Marineford} but I need to ask) (If you already answered a question similar to this one, please point me towards it)
Devil Fruits vs Haki
What, on your opinion, are the strengths and weaknessess of each as power systems and how do they compare to each other?
I don’t really like how haki has been implemented. I understand why it exists, and for a story like One Piece there’s value in willpower being a literal super power, but it’s taken away some of the creative fun of the fights. Like, the Straw Hats wouldn’t have needed to team up to take down Oars if a couple people in the crew have armament. Nightmare Luffy doesn’t happen post time skip, and with enough haki the monster trio would be able to resist Perona’s fruit, and it’s things like that that are half the fun of the fights.
On the other hand, it can be fun to see a character dig deeper into a system that theoretically anyone could master, like Zoro and Luffy during Wano or Luffy on WCI. That’s when it’s at its best, I think, when the powers are clearly defined and the reader knows what limit needs to be overcome. Many of the more basic fights with Haki feel wishy washy and ill defined. Like, Vergo is a master at armament, but what does that actually mean? Everyone shits on the power levels during Water 7, but at least then you knew the difference between Lucci and Fukuro. If someone is wearing armor and the armor breaks, I have a good idea of how strong the other guy is. The same can’t be said when Law was able to slice Vergo in half. And when every other person in the New World has some flavor of haki, it feels much less special in comparison.
Devil Fruits are limited only by Oda’s creativity, and there have been enough near copies or bad implementation of Devil Fruits to show that even he has his limits. And to be fair, there are some powers that are so stupidly broken that without haki they’d be basically unstoppable. Thats on Oda, too, as he’s the one who sets the limits in the first place.
Power creep is incredibly hard to manage and to Oda’s credit he’s done better than a lot of other long running series balancing his system, but it’s not perfect. I’m not sure there’s an answer that would satisfy everyone, but I think to start I would have made haki rarer than it is.

Happy Halloween! 🎃 Do you have any plans with your F/Os today? Spooky or otherwise? I wanna know >:] 💕
Thanks and right back at you!
I'll ramble about this basic Horror Movie AU I just created:
Me & Ushio in woods in a cabin with our friends and he would just protect me and everyone else. Thinking who would survive and why and different kind of villains to have is interesting.
I'd be the innocent sacrificial lamb unless Ushio somehow manages to save me or by pure luck. I'm such a sucker for shit like this but there's 50/50 chance he'd die. But I like to imagine he at least would have higher chances escaping someone like Jason or Michael versus someone supernatural like Freddy (yes I know technically both Jason & Michael are supernatural because of how tough they are but against juggernauts, 2m Ushio would have a chance ok). Plus he knows how to fight ala fists and knifes.
His survival would be depended on the fact would he be in situation where saving someone from his perspective is necessary. He would do so without thinking and end up dying. Without it, he'd have strong chance to survive.
Then there's Crow & Yusei who'd be the meta guys and aware of the tropes and being in horror movie so I think they'd make it.
Aki or at least Carly have strong case for dying, since neither is good with firearms or weapons. Though Aki's sorta supernatural powers would be handy against the villain so she'd have some survival chance.
Now Mikage would definitely be Final Girl, she's good with firearms and depending on the type of horror movie, she'd be the unfortunate victim of Fanservice.
Kazama would be average guy who has no noticeable weaknessess nor strengths. Highly depends on circumstances how he'd survive.
Sherry and Jack? They're not even there. Automatic survival. Though I have a hunch they'd survive anyway if they were involved. But then again Jack has unfortunate case of too much pride that could be his undoing.
Oh and the killings would be gruesome but not like gory. Impaled? Ok. Sledgehammer? Ok. Getting gutted? Nah. Not too much blood either unless it's video game ala Friday 13th. Tone would be something similar with Scream TV Series? Or Shining? Psychological horror anyway with mix of Slasher.

5 Fictional Characters that make up your Personality
So, I got tagged by the amazingly talented and kind @headspacedad . But, uh, I don’t exactly know that many people on here yet, so...gonna cheat a bit and say if you’ve not been tagged by anyone else yet/have any interest in playing, then I’m “tagging” you now? Yeah let’s just go with that.
So...In no particular order, here are the picks I finally decided to go with:
1. Spring Sprite from Fantasia 2000: Firebird Suite
Tumblr media
So...apparently I latched onto her even before my parents read me Narnia (which sparked a life-long love for nymphs and mythology in general. Digressing. Back on topic, Tiger!) Beyond the whole Mythical Nature Girl aesthetic going on and how her best friend is an Elk, I think I’ve finally got it pinned down what, exactly, SmolTiger identified-with-and-absorbed:
She’s insanely curious (more on this later)
She’s a tactile learner, and goes from hesitant to confident as she experiments with her talent, with a bit of gentle prodding from the Elk. (Also important. Hubris and greek-inspired mythological characters DO kinda go hand-in-hand.)
She’s a Perfectionist TM (ahem. Also, see the gif.)
But, then she finds something she can’t heal. And...she just kinda *pokes* it.
Tumblr media
And turns out her Curiosity, Confidence, and Pride in her work...turned into outright Hubris. And she gets burned. No, really. Quite literally, with everything she caree about reduced to ash.
Tumblr media
Which...what do you do when you’ve screwed up that badly? How do you get back up again? There really isn’t ever an easy answer for that, other than taking time to grieve, then trying again. Fortunately Mr. Elk survived her accidentally letting loose a volcanic demon and is there to lend her a helping...antler.
Tumblr media
And things do turn out alright. Her grief heals the land, she tries again. And once she’s regained her confidence? She conquers that mountain, finally spreading her Green all the way to the crater’s edge, the Firebird be damned.
What I took away?
It’s Okay to be curious, particular, and creative (as a tomboy female in a conservative, antiarts religious environment? This was HUGE. And not always a lesson I remembered.)
Your personality and talents are often both your greatest strengths as well as weaknessess.
When you fail, you’re gonna fall HARD. But you WILL survive, especially with help.
Take time to grieve and heal. But then say “screw you. I’m gonna try ANYWAY.” Then watch yourself soar.
Learning a bit of caution and situational awareness isn’t a terrible thing. But don’t let it keep you from Trying Anyway
2. Judy Hopps, Zootopia
I kid you not. From the first scene my brother was like, “oh look. It’s Tiger as a kid.”
Tumblr media
...yeah. THAT scene. (Can’t exactly claim that my art or writing have *exactly* calmed down...and...uhhh. Acting intense stuff is morbidly fun.)
And the whole thing with Gideon Grey? Yeah, that was me, too. (Only...I’d have gotten trampled by the sheep, too. Ain’t school and kids just LOVELY.)
But adult Judy wanting to be tolerant, then learning she had a LOT of unlearning left to do? Yeah...uh. Still guilty as charged.
But what I love most about her?
Not only will she Prove You Wrong, but she’ll also prove herself wrong, and grow, and do what she can to Make Things Right. (And try not to make the same mistake twice.)
Oh...and make jokes at her own expense.
Tumblr media
(...ahem. I totally don’t make jokes like that. Nope, not me!)
3. Vash the Stampede, Trigun
Tumblr media
So...this guy’s an interesting take on the “Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass” trope. In...he seems like a moron, but it’s moreso a persona he puts on. He doesn’t have a “badass switch” that needs to be flipped like many anime protagonists—he’s always That Good. The question is only how much effort is he gonna put into hiding that. Then we learn that he plays up the Fool ‘cause he’s got a ridiculously high bounty on his head...which we assume is exaggerated.
I mean, he’s a pacivist to a fault. “Love and PEACE~!!!” ...right?
Well...yes, and no. Turns out he did end up doing those things, but not intentionally. And he’s so wracked with guilt about it and the stories about what he might have done that he outright represses those memories for a time. And his “goofy fascade” isn’t...just to avoid getting attacked by those who wish him harm (and don’t care who gets caught in the crossfire). He’s also Lonely and craving any sort of non-lethal human interaction he can get.
And he’ll continue to protect, even at the cost of severe personal injury to himself or being forced to play up the Villain everyone believes him to be. It won’t change who he really is.
What I learned from Vash:
Silliness, Kindness, and Competence can coexist. You don’t have to “just pick one”
Cognative Dissonance is HELL. But, it’s one you can survive
You can always Start Again and make restitution for your past mistakes, even though you cannot undo them.
4. Takashi Shirogane, Voltron: LD
Tumblr media
yeah yeah I know. Small surprise. But, he’s a fellow struggling mid20 year old who survived an insane amount of trauma and later learns that he might’ve done things he’s ashamed of, yet he actively chooses to fight and protect those in need (and “adopts” a group of squabbling teens along the way).
Not only does he choose to protect, he chooses to be kind. He leads by example with that same kindness, and people notice and respond to it.
That’s damn inspiring.
I wanna be Shiro. I wanna lead like Shiro when I’m called to lead. please don’t pick me!
And the Black Lion chose him despite his trauma and learning about being “Champion”. And staying active? Keeping himself involved and engaged? That gave him purpose, and that purpose gradually gave him healing (even if not closure).
Tumblr media
...It also helps that he’s a Complete Dork.
What I learned from Shiro:
Your past does not define you
Kindness is an active choice and strength
Kind Leaders do exist, and they’re worth following
Staying Involved as much as you can actually can help manage your mental health and healing process
5. Jiro Shirogane, Voltron: LD
Tumblr media
...aaaand this one should be less of a surprise, honestly. I love both Shiros, okay? I also spent more time with this Shiro, and identified with him maybe a teensy bit more.
Takashi’s “who I wanna be when I grow up”.
(Even though he has his own healing to start, and could stand to confide in...idk. Coran? Allura? They’re the fellow coded adults. Form a support group of “I Crossed the Galra and Survived” or something.)
Jiro’s where I’m currently at, admittedly.
And Jiro’s the one we see trying so damn hard to find “what he CAN do” if being a Paladin wasn’t an option (even though he’s still miserable. But he’s trying.) And when he screws up? We immediately see him doing what he can to Fix It, or at least Do Better. He’s also the one we got to see actively try to manage his mental and physical health, as well as finally open up to Someone. (Even though...egh. Monsantos. Just, monsantos.)
Those were all things I Wanted for both Shiros, but especially Jiro. Those were all also things I learned along the way (and way...way too much meta. Like an admittedly unhealthy amount as I accidentally tied the Shiro(s) being Okay with me learning how to be okay, too) that I could work on giving to myself, too.
What I learned from Jiro:
Focus on What You CAN Do
It’s okay to be longing for something else
Being Kind includes doing what you can to repair your relationships and fix your mistakes
Know when to ask for help, and do what you can to take care of yourself. You can’t help anyone if you’re not taking care of yourself, too

Congratulations, LOUISE! You’ve been accepted for the role of BEATRICE. Admin Em: Louise, your application was such a joy to read, and I knew by the time I finished with your interview and sample that this IS Brielle. You captured the balance between dreamer and cynic perfectly, brought life into our spark and made it impossible to tear our eyes away! You showed us why she’s not to be underestimated, why she’s a force in her own right - “That’s what caused her to win; not God, not luck and not whatever else people decided to give credit to.” Just Brielle. Brielle and her horse.  Please read over the checklist and send in your blog within 24 hours.
WELCOME TO THE MOB.

In Character
Character | Beatrice a.k.a Brielle King
What drew you to this character? | The first line of her biography hooked me in right away. It really intrigued me about her character and it got me curious about what was the story behind the words you guys used. I was pleasantly surprised. And as I kept reading, I just got this incessant feeling of wanting to explore her character more — I almost couldn’t even sit still (then again I never can’t) until the end of the biography because I was excited to do things for her, to write as her and to develop her.
When I got to the end of her biography, I found myself wanting to read it again and again; I adore the fact that Brielle, quite literally, built herself from nothing — she’s a dreamer and a cynic at the same time, with street smarts that would put most to shame. I like her independence. I like her strength and that includes her weaknesses, as well. And, most of all, I love how she’s everything people don’t expect her to be.
Brielle is strong in her own way and while she might not look intimidating, she is, in my opinion, the embodiment of the words “Throw me to the wolves and I will return leading the pack”. People look at her and see an outsider that will be eaten alive by the city of Verona but her past will prove them wrong; she might not end up ruling over the city of Verona but I believe she’s strong enough to sway some power in her favor, in her own way.
She’s clever, she’s intelligent, she doesn’t give up and doesn’t back down. And I love how she handled the cards that she was dealt, in a table where it’s so clear some people are being favored over others. She didn’t just sit back and waited for life to give her what she wanted; she didn’t wait for karma to finally give her the life she wanted and deserved. Instead, she took matters into her own hands and did what she had to do to get to where she is today.
What is a future plot idea you have in mind for the character? |
i. GREATNESS FROM SMALL BEGINNINGS. At the risk of sounding a bit too greedy, I would love to see Brielle become “more important” within the Montagues; of course, I don’t want her to become a Captain overnight but I do believe she has the potential to be quite the asset to the mob and climb that ladder, step after step and prove herself to be more than they expect her to be. She’s hardworking, an overachieving, always striving to do better and do it to the best of her abilities, proving that the doubts about her, whatever they may be, are plain wrong. This is a plot for the long-run and I think would be very interesting!
ii. BE STILL, DON’T MISS IT. Catherine Daly holds a very interesting place in Brielle’s mind. For someone that has always depended on her own mind, her own edcisions and her own beliefs, it would be refreshing to have someone that makes Brielle’s mind take another stance when it comes to proving to everyone who she is; perhaps, she could take a break, for a few hours, and just enjoy someone’s company and that someone would be Catherine. Like it’s said in her biography, Catherine reminds Brielle of her sister. Although she couldn’t compare to the unspoken bond between Brielle and her blood, Catherine fills a void that appeared in Brielle’s heart when she finally went out into the world and took what she wanted.
iii.  THESE VIOLENT DELIGHTS. I’m quite interested in her mentor and mentoree relationship with Faron Vasiliev and how it’s implied that they are kindred spirits. I adore those types of connections and for someone that’s always depended on herself her entire life, it would be good to see Brielle keep her independence and her street smarts but still be able to lean on someone for some guidance; of course, she would say it’s only just so she can become better herself but I believe that, either way, it would be a good relationship to explore and let it influence Brielle.
iv. HAVE VIOLENT ENDS. When I read about her relationship with Brigette, I was so enticed by it. For someone that’s so fearless but keeps her own weaknessess in check, it’s really interesting to see Brielle lose control of her emotions, the reins a bit looser, when it comes to dealing with Brigette. I love that the word “fear” was mentioned and that Brielle believes she has never felt it, but come this porcelain looking girl and, in a moment, she feels as if the world is about to fall on her. I think the interactions between these two can show a different side of Brielle; instead of roleplaying the fearless, overachieving Montague soldier, I’ll be able to also write a more… vulnerable side of her, in terms of being close to afraid of someone.
v. WHAT’S A GOD TO A NON-BELIEVER. I know this is a really vague plot, but I’d like to have the possibility, as well, to explore a waver in her loyalty. The way I see it, Brielle is loyal to the potential that comes from being o Montague’s side and she’s loyal to her mentor; however, I’d like to see how far she could be pushed until she began realising that perhaps her loyalty wasn’t as certain as most would assume. I feel like throughout her biography I didn’t get the sense she was fully committed to the Montagues, so that’d be something I’d like to explore if it fit her and the plot!
Are you comfortable with killing off your character? | Right now, I’m going to have to say no. However, that might change in the future!
In Depth
In-Character Interview:
Come to the west, come to Verona and you’ll experience a life you’ve never experienced before. Brielle remembered her benefactor’s words like he had just said it to her, days ago. Although she had just arrived in Verona mere months before that very moment, it took the newspaper all but a few weeks after she arrived to schedule that small interview; lucky for her — or was it? — it was right in the middle of the Phoenix and the Turtle coffee shop and although she had just made an appearance, her alignment might just prove dangerous in that particular moment.
Sitting across from the interviewer, Brielle allowed her dark eyes to study the man for a few moments; middle-aged, carefully groomed hair and a suit that put most to shame, not to mention he had ignored technology and held a notepad and a ballpoint pen in his hand. The young woman didn’t want to do this interview but she knew better than to bite the hand that fed her.
Foregoing the famous coffee for which the Phoenix and the Turtle was known for, all the brunette wanted was to get out of that interview. The faster, the better.
What is your favorite place in Verona?
“Verona.” Brielle simply said, a lopsided smile appearing on her lips as if she had thought of such an answer just to appear clever; the young soldier didn’t have to appear to be anything. As far as people were concerned, she didn’t appear much but Brielle knew she was on her way to becoming everything. “I’m still getting to know the city of love, you know? So, I can’t name a place.” She figured if she talked enough, then he wouldn’t pester more than the necessary.
Why Verona? It’s the embodiment of the ultimate challenge; Brielle knows she can survive such a merciless town, plagued by both beauty and a crimson, scary river of blood from both sides of the city, inhabited by people with knives for tongues and smiles as deadly as a gun. There’s beauty in danger, she muses inside her own mind, but Brielle is too smart to be swayed by beauty.  The city that saw her as nothing but an outsider, the city that threatened to swallow her whole without knowing that she was made of poison.
She’s both proudful and humble and she hasn’t gotten this far, climbed through vines made of poison and thorns, to be made a fool of by Verona.
“But if you want to know a specific place, then whenever I’m racing or at the stables.” Whether it was Rio’s mere presence or the fact that whenever she was on a horse, she wasn’t just the outsider that had come to race in the West and try and make it there. Whenever she entered a race, she knew that inside that place, Brielle was another equestrian and a good one at that. Her roots didn’t matter because, at the end of the race, the only thing people remembered was whether or not she finished last or first.
“Life of an equestrian, right?”
What does your typical day look like?
There was something about sharing that had Brielle feel conflicted; she had no problem sharing a room or a piece of clothing or even her own bed. Coming from nothing, Brielle knows how it feels to be deprived of what you need and not what you want.
However, when it came to sharing her life, she was always with a foot in the room and another out the door.
“I’m an equestrian.” It was the perfect cover, wasn’t it? Brielle had grown up being invisible; being the daughter of a man that brought dinner to the table instead of sitting down and eating it, much like her family, Brielle was used to being in the background, never having the spotlight shine on her. And most didn’t care about horse races, at all.
Before, the fire that grew inside of her for being treated like nothing because she came from nothing had been just that — fire that never seemed to guide her anywhere (until it finally did). Now? It’s her ammo.
“If I’m not at the stables, taking care of my horse, Rio” river, stream — that’s what her horse’s name meant; it was a symbol for who she wants to become. If someone builds a new path for the river, it doesn’t do anything but shape itself to it and carry on until its final goal: the ocean. That’s who Brielle was, was it not? “ — I’m either training or just exploring the city. I’ve only been here for a couple of months, I know there’s still a lot to explore.”
And everything left unexplored had a darkness to it that called to the curious minds like a siren song.
What has been your biggest mistake thus far?
None. That was the first response that came to her mind because everything she did was because she wanted to do it. “Not coming to Verona sooner.” If she allowed herself to be truthful about something in her life, it was that.
Of course, it was the answer that she knew they wanted to hear, at least partly. If Brielle hadn’t come sooner, she wouldn’t have realized that she was so much more than everyone told her she was; she wouldn’t have raced against every doubt throw in her face and let it eat the dust she left behind; she wouldn’t have shown someone that took his position for granted that, if given the choice, she’d take it for herself and be better than they could ever be.
“The horse race tracks are much better here.”
What has been the most difficult task asked of you?
Oh, Brielle remembers it clearly. It was as if she would be able to look into the river that bathed Verona and see the scenario play in front of her, like some independent motion picture. It wasn’t a one time kind of tasks, that much she remembered. It was something spoken to her every day of her life, for hours on end. Mind your station. Watch who you’re talking to. Focus on your work and nothing else. Don’t expect too much of yourself. Those were the tasks that were hardest for her, but the absolute hardest was easy to remember.Don’t dream too much. “So far?” She wasn’t about to be truthful, not in this sort of… interview. “Riding a horse that wasn’t mine. It’s just… strange, I guess.”
What are your thoughts on the war between the Capulets and the Montagues?
It was the epitome of greed and malicious thoughts and actions, the home to people that believe themselves to be better than the rest just because they are native to fair Verona. Still, Brielle knew where she ought to be and where she wanted to be. “Just like in every war, there’s going to be a winner and a loser.” The brunette began, shrugging her shoulders. And I’m on the winning side. Brielle planned to make the most of the situation, just like she had done thus far — and, where success was concerned, she had managed to grip the reins of it even when life wanted to see her fall and stay down. “It’s not my place to comment any further.”
In-Character Para Sample:
The reds and the oranges of the sunset cascaded down the sky, lighting up the stables in a color that was fitting for what was happening at that moment; it was neither night nor day, dark nor light — it was an ambiguous hour and if one didn’t try hard enough they could mistake the colors of the sunset for those of a sunrise. It wasn’t defined and hard to pinpoint, just like Brielle was, many complained. For someone that didn’t have much growing up, her confidence and pride sure rivaled the ones of people that had been brought up with everything on their silver platter, from the latest piece of clothing to their precious silver spoon — or marble one, should they decide to eat caviar.
Up and down, up and down. Her hand followed the brush as she tamed Rio’s mane, a lovingly stare becoming an empty gaze as her mind got hypnotized by the repetitive motion and her thoughts began flowing away, thinking back to memories she hadn’t thought of since she got to Verona.
                                                                   ————
The sounds around her began to fade and it was as if she was watching a show with a slow transition into another scene. Flashes of her childhood, of the word she had done before she even knew what working was. Brielle remembers walking by the oblivious people that surfed through the waves of an easy life while the young girl had to fight and swim among the same crashing waves; she remembers how she felt whenever they passed her by, ignored her and became the embodiment of the words ignorance is bliss.
Oh, they were as blissful as they could be, with rose-colored glasses matching their perfect outfits. Brielle’s glasses didn’t even have lenses, she saw the world exactly as it was and she still wanted to conquer it.
The faces of her parents and her sister looked right at her and though they moved their lips, there was no sound coming out of their mouths; Brielle’s memory was good but not that good. Her father, with a surname worthy of someone at the top of the food chain, was someone that lived to pick up the breadcrumbs from those around him. Her mother, either praying to a God that didn’t seem to know of their existence of knitting Brielle and her sister new sweaters for the winter was near and they didn’t have enough money for warm enough jackets. Brielle remembers looking around her house — if one could even call it that — and knowing that that life wasn’t meant for her, it wasn’t meant for anyone.
Then, every time she looked at the blissful people surrounding her, it was as if someone poured gasoline in the fire that kept her going. It was as if she had to thank those ignorant, rich kids for where she was right now.
                                                                  ————
Brielle King? Brielle King?
The words echoed inside the stables and although she didn’t recognize the voice, she knew it was time for her and Rio to join the others and race. There was going to be no God with her in that track; only her hard work, dedication, and practice; the countless hours spent in the stables and the tracks, every day spent there and every drop of sweat that escaped her. There was a lot of preparation before every race, at least the way Brielle did it. That’s what caused her to win; not God, not luck and not whatever else people decided to give credit to.
It was Brielle and her horse, the hours they spend together training, getting maneuvers down to precise movements and a form that would put most to shame. Although Rio was a beautiful, white and light brown purebred, given to her by her benefactor, every time they stepped on the tracks, alongside more known jockeys, they were underestimated. They were the dark horse. With her helmet tugged under her arm, three fingers holding the reins of her horse, she walked out of the stable and looked at the person that called out to her. With a last name so memorable, it was a surprise that most would never remember her face in a crowd; though it was something she was used to.
Upon seeing her, the young woman questioned, “It’s time for the race”
Without hesitation, Brielle looked at Rio and ran her hand through his soft mane. “And we’re ready to win, aren’t we, Rio?”

Kenny lives by the creed of “jack of all trades, master of none.” Due to averaging out with an evened stat pool across the board, he can dabble in a little bit of everything. However, he doesn’t possess a true standout quality either in this regard. As a result, Kenny is oftentimes relegated to one of two things: a good pick for new players to discover which playstyle suits them best, or for experienced players to challenge themselves.
Teammates oftentimes choose counselors who specialize in a particular trait/role (e.g. collecting parts on the sly), work with others to overcome their shortcomings, then do their best to survive. Teams, therefore, are built on the premise of “give and take,” and as such everyone pulls their strengths together to overcome their individual weaknessess. Once these concepts are met, a team can function at its highest level, which makes a “jack of all trades, master of none” counselor like Kenny seem inadequate at times.
But when the game begins…things can get out of hand quickly. Occasionally, the repair specialists die early; without them, objectives are nigh impossible to fix, forcing you to hide from Jason for several minutes. Sometimes counselors with terrible fighting potential have to take up arms against a nearly unstoppable murder machine. Finally, there are times when counselors have no choice other than to flee, and whether they can do so in secrecy or speedily can become difficult due to circumstances.
Games will not always start off well in terms of teamwork, even if players do their best to coordinate with each other, simply because their opponent is Jason; that alone can be a losing bet. Repair specialists tend to be terrible athletes, which does them no favors when a teleporting Jason happens to catch a glimpse of them near an objective of interest. Part runners, as well as fast counselors, have to contend with a supernatural being who possesses two teleportation abilities (Morph and Shift). Last of all, Jason’s Rage ability makes it difficult for any counselor to successfully hide an entire game.
It’s times like these when characters with flexible options start to shine. Kenny can assist his team by adapting on the fly when it comes to objectives. Whether that means gathering parts; fighting Jason; distracting him; or making the repairs yourself, it all depends on what the situation calls for.
Since Kenny’s stealth is lacklaster, you will need to crouch walk in order to avoid Jason. At the same time, if you need to gain Jason’s attention away from your teammates, a simple jog will do the trick. And while Kenny’s luck is average, it does help his melee weapons last a few extra swings. Finally, thanks to his decent strength, he has a chance to unmask Jason, but otherwise arm him with stun weapons if given the opportunity for better self-defense.
Kenny might not be the best at everything, but he can be counted on when the situation turns dire; your team might need that kind of adaptability to survive the night.

Being a "Good Person" ought to be in everybody's mind, heart and soul. It is in our every day actions that we are able to showcase who we truly are from the inside and not just our facade. But when we are doing it just to prove a point and gain attention plus support then all the novelty of being good becomes bad. In addition our kindness may even be used against us. A good friend of mine once told me I am a people pleaser and that I tend to soften up too much for people to like me. Sadly it has made more damage than being constructive at all. I have realized that I dont have to be validated by other people just to prove to myself that I am good. There should be a certain level of self-respect that we should maintain inorder to have that strength within us to rise up from every fall and assert our rights against people who have ill intent and anything negative against us. The law of Karma will always take effect sooner than we think and the way we see our very selves will predetermine how we veiw our strengths, weaknessess and abilities. Do not be defined by what others think of you. In the end it is your life that should matter. "Be Good to others but be Very Good to yourself"...it is the only way to live anyway. Blessed day everyone. 😊#happiness #adventure #travel #insights #dreams #aspirations #pinoy #victory #family #jesus #character #positivity #determination #friendship #lessonsinlife #horizon #followme #photography #vision #kaleidoscope #simplyme #movingforward #picoftheday #beyondtheclouds #silverlining #hope #resiliency #blogger #writersofinstagram https://www.instagram.com/p/BuvcoTBgOf_/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=9jcodfbzbood
