doing my thang checking out a list of the top 100 songs of 1972 (the year mash premiered) to see if i can't yoink a good title for my hawkahy fic and HOT DAMN WHY WERE THERE SO MANY BANGERS THAT YEAR?!??!?!?!

i mean like... get a load of this: american pie. lean on me. let's stay together. i'll take you there. horse with no name. everybody plays the fool. rocket man. burning love. day dreaming. you don't mess around with jim. roundabout. USE ME. what was in the fucking WATER in 1972?? was it the lead or the asbestos or the LSD????
