Flowering into the autumn Solanum laxum 'Album' (white potato vine) is a fast-growing, semi-evergreen climber with twining stems. It will grow outdoors in a moist but well-drained soil in full sun or under glass in bright indirect light.

The paired needles of Pinus sylvestris 'Aurea' (golden Scots pine) are temperature sensitive, turning bright golden yellow in the winter months and returning to blue green in summer. This is a slow-growing, evergreen conifer that requires a moist but well-drained soil with a sunny position.
