Heyy, can I ask for match up and sorting at the same request? I think it would be super annoying for you to read me talk about myself twice, so🙈 so, firat about the hcs sortings. The ones I'm gonna choose is Avatar The Last Airbender = sorting what bender you’d be and The Last of Us 1 + 2 = sorting which (human) group you’d be part of.
For the match ups: The last of us (Part 1 and 2) and MCU. I don't really care if it's female or male, I don't have preference.
So, for my description:
I'm a teenager and my pronouns are she/her. I'm a hufflepuff and my zodiac sign is aquarius. I love art in any way possible, but drawing is basically my roman empire. I'm always with a sketchbook and sometimes I look at random places and people and I try to imagine how would I draw them. I usually draw and paint listening to classical music and orchestras (I even used to play Erick Satie pieces on a kalimba!!!), but I also love Rock and Metalcore. I'm that type of person who has a headphone on her head 24/7. I'm very introvert and usually have difficulty communicating with other people, simply because I'm bad at continue conversations. My mom says it's because I spend so much time at the little world in my head that I forget how to get out of it, and as much as she doesn't mean in a harm way, I know this can bother people around me (I mean, somebody called me autistic in a perjorative way once. I'm don't even have autism, it's just my personality). Even tho I'm introvert, I can be very chatty around people I like and trust. I also don't like fighting, I hate fighting, and because of traumatic experiences involving bullying and problems at home, I start feeling anxious when I hear arguments. So I'm usually a very chill person and try to keep things smooth till I can, but I can also get exaggeratedly agressive when people step on thin ice with me, and that caused me problems before. I also love animals (at this point, I don't even have to explain that I prefer them to people, right?), I would totally be a vet if I wasn't so afraid of seeing injuries, and I could also study astronomy if I didn't hated physics/math. I'm not very patient, but I also change my mind easily, so I'm the type of person who tries something new and says "I won't ever do this again" and it goes wrong, but is trying again next day. I looove eating, and even tho I have some pet peeves with food, food bribery can work a lot with me lol. My favorite types of films are drama and science fiction (cry for a good story and think hard are my two favorite things). I'm a very perceptive person and I am very vulnerable to see through people, I know there's something wrong in the air usually before everyone else, and can see how people may be feeling even if they don't tell me right away, that's what makes me a good friend to the few people I'm friends with, because my intuition is good. I'm also very criative, and even though my imagination can get a little morbid and sad, it also gives me good ideas and experiences. On the other hand, one of my flaws is not doing things I'm supposed to do like fufill tasks, and I get over disappointed when things don't go exactly the way I plan. I'm also not that good at talking about my feelings, but I like hearing others. I don't like hot weathers and my favorite season is fall. My favorite holiday is christmas, and I usually spend the whole year deciding what to wear for halloween. I don't really get happy about my birthday, but I like the cheap excuse to eat cake.

If you don't mind, what does visibly autistic look like
It means many things, and it does depend on context. Like, theres some nuance here that can get lost, similar to how there is actually nuance to nonverbal experiences but by having to constantly restate that people with speech loss arent nonverbal, your focus is shifted from discussing this nuanced experience to guarding it. And with that comes generalizing it a bit more, to make those arguing with you understand it more easily. I'm assuming you're asking to understand my actual definition of it, instead of wanting to argue, so I'm thankful for that! This let's me be a lot more nuanced than in a situation where my nuance will be immediated used to pick apart everything that I'm saying about it being about others perception at all.
Disclaimer that I'm not visibly autistic all the time. To me it does heavily depend on if I'm using my AAC at the time, which has increased over the last year (which is not much a choice though, I am a part time user by definition but I'm not choosing to use it over verbal speech when I do, if that makes sense.) & the general state of my autistic catatonia like symptoms at the time, which do fluctuate somewhat day to day, and a few other factors such as "how obviously is my carer / person around me to make me able to access this thing not just a 'normal' relative or friend? Is this obviously a caregiving (esque) relation in front of others?" etc. So I'm not in the same boat as someone who continously gets read as autistic, especially not someone who's HSN and/or nonverbal, and I'd suggest you try and find what some of them have said about it.
Visible autism with nuance (to me) means that the same behavior does get read differently depending on many factors, race being one of them. I'm white so this is just things I've heard from other autistics of color, especially black autistics, but their behavior that would make white autistics get read as autistic, often makes them get read at schizophrenic / on the schizo-spec instead, etc.
Similarly, sometimes other disabilities "overshadow" the visible autism. Some people with ID will only ever get read as having ID, not autism, despite both being present and obvious in different ways, especially if they have facial features associated with having ID, or other ways people can "just tell". Similarly to people with down syndrome who have the characteristic facial features, this frequently makes people go "oh everything I'm seeing is related to down syndrome / ID, got it" even if it would make them think of autism in someone without these facial features, etc. Someone w these can still be read as autistic frequently, but it's another layer that complicates it. Listing all of these influencing disabilities is impossible I think, it's just important that we know they exist.
Since visible autism is about "how do you usually get perceived by the general public? Do they think you're autistic?", this also means that it is, annoyingly, quite dependent on your surroundings, and visible autism might look a little different in different countries, because we've all grown up being conveyed slightly different images of what autism "is" (aka "looks like"). Different generations might have slightly different images of autism as well, and especially younger generations might have expanded what they consider "visibly autistic" a fair bit because of things they've been exposed to online over the last few years- what will be visibly autistic to the general public already Has Changed a bit with the "autistic genius" thing all over media for the last years, so that's interesting I suppose, but that "type" of visible autism is also very restrictive and most LSN / high masking autistics probably dont get read this way either because of how highly speicfic it is.
However for the rest of this I will ignore that part somewhat, assume that all of these can however also be read as other disabilities in that sense. I might use visibly disabled sometimes though to sort of reference it a bit.
Ok. That was a lot before I even got to what behaviors in the end are generally associated with visible autism, sorry but yeah.
----
A big part often is "how does this person move?" Many autistic people, especially those who fall more towards the MSN & especially HSN area of autism, have issues with gross and fine motor skills that are very apparent and go beyond "clumsy". "abnormal gaits" for example, to the point it might result in using mobility aids to help them move around. Gait trainers being one ive seen a lot over the years, but others as well. People with certain issues with walking might also be prescribed AFO braces and the likes. How do you hold your upper body, your limbs, how do you use tools? Is it obvious you have issues with motor skills when you for example eat something with a fork or a spoon? Etc. This is basically your entire way of moving, which is complex to describe, and I struggle to define it more than "people see your (issues with) movement & categorize it as disabled / autistic, in those terms or very similar (the r slur, etc), in their head"
Motor development can also be stunted in LSN people & actually frequently is, (though this is understudied in the entire autistic population) but on average (!) as is with most autistic traits, they present more strongly in people with higher support needs & lower IQs, so they might cross the line from being read as "clumsy" to "disabled" a lot more.
Stimming is the next obvious one, which is where it does turn into a bit of a battlefield in the visible autism argument, because most people I would say are not visibly autistic do also, visibly "stim", and they know this obviously. The thing is just again, how far does it deviate from the norm until it is categorized as (stereotypical) autistic behavior in the average persons head.
Allistic people, yes even those in the fully neurotypical sense, no adhd, no anxiety, nothing, do also "stim" as in "self stimulating behavior", it just generally gets called "fidgeting" (that's also why a lot of the time, at least early on, many "stim toys" were also / only marketed as "fidget toys", in my area at least, everyone called it "fidget cubes", "fidget spinners", etc).
My allistic mother bounces her foot or leg, especially if she has to wait for something a long time. Many people with longer hair frequently play with strands of this hair, twirling it around their fingers etc. "Someone is clicking their pen over and over" is something fairly normal in any room with many people who are holding pens, and the people doing this are not automatically autistic, or read as such. The less disruptive this is, the more it will be tolerated, and allistic people usually do not struggle to redirect this into something else if they are told to stop because its annoying someone else.
A lot of LSN and / or high masking autistics have talked about masking stims, either suppressing them entirely, or redirecting them to less disruptive ones. I'll probably get more into masking towards the end, so for now that's all I'll say about it. This does result in it less and less being read as visibly autistic. Again, not about 'is this actually autistic behavior' but just, what does it get labeled as? In that case, when all I would do to stim was bounce my leg, doodle in my notebooks or twirl some hair around my finger, etc, no one thought "oh damn, that kid is autistic".
This is in stark contrast to stims that are a lot "bigger", "louder", something allistic people would generally never do to "fidget", etc. Common stims of this type, usually done by low masking, higher support needs / higher level autistics etc are: pacing (when they should be sitting down), jumping, spinning etc (when they should be sitting down, or at least stand still), flapping your hands or otherwise swinging your arms around repetitively, rocking back and forth, clapping, vocal stims that range from repeating quieter sounds or words over and over to people who straight up yell, etc. & of course, self injury behavior / stims like banging your head against a wall or similar behavior like biting yourself, hitting yourself, or scratching yourself until you bleed etc.
SIB especially is very associated with developmental disabilities in the general public, to the point many peoples way of mocking visibly DD/ autistic behavior is by acting like they are hitting themselves, often their head, amongst other things. SIB is often the reason people will be wearing protective helmets to prevent injury, and also usually the reason for putting autistic people into restraints etc.
Important: these are not masked in public or if attempted to, can not be sustained for very long at all (a few minutes, maybe?) and will usually present as differently disruptive / large stims instead of "smaller", more close to "fidgeting" appearance ones. If you somehow manage to get me stop pacing and running my hands over the walls, I will instead rock and hum and make popping sounds with my mouth, clap a bit (all more or less simultaneously), etc.
Carers and similar things are another way one might be visibly autistic. Though with absence of currently ongoing caregiving tasks that are very visible to others (helping someone with bADLs like eating, drinking, going to the bathroom, transfering, .... or communicating for them, keeping them from running into traffic, trying to redirect (harmful) stims, ...) and an absence of many other things that people read as disabled, this might not accurately get understood to be a caregiver.
I think it's fairly obvious that most people will have a largely different reaction to either a) seeing someone twirl their hair or tap their fingers onto the table in a rhythmic manner, etc or b) someone who screams or continously makes lower volume noise or repeats words over and over, hits themselves, paces up and down in situations where you're supposed to be seated, chews on their hands or specialized chewing objects, .... I'm not saying these stims are exclusive to higher support needs, but the act of doing them in public regularly is one most high masking people avoid successfully, and instead limit to spaces like their own home, etc, because they KNOW the reaction to these is far more severe.
Your eyes / gaze is another one, though I find that it does frequently only become visibly autistic in addition to other behavior / traits and severity. On good days where I manage to look into someone's vague direction & respond (verbally) to some degree, I am treated as an active participant despite missing eye contact, or sometimes letting my eyes wander across the room to look at every small detail. On days where I am fixated on the ceiling for the last 5 minutes, or some blinking lights on a screen, etc, and i dont look in your direction at all when you address me (and also respond a lot less) I am treated as someone who does not belong to the conversation. I am talked about as if I was not there, as if I could not hear them. When I am like that, and my carer says I'm autistic, no one questions it (especially in combination with the visible large stims from before).
Communication is one of those defining factors in being read as autistic by the general public. where if you are nonverbal or use verbal speech in a very limited way, often instead rely on high or low tech AAC, primarily communicate in grunts/ gestures, etc in combination with other traits like those described earlier in this post, it is very visibly autistic. Generally any communication deficits like frequent wrong grammar beyond what your peers might mess up, or simply not holding conversations (aka having no apparent interest in talking to others about things they are doing, etc. Sort of like "what are you doing ?" "..." "are you drawing?" *nods* "is it fun?" "...") while theoretically being able to talk verbally. It's part of the "being in your own world" view many have of autism. Do they only communicate about their interests and nothing else?
Its more like the existing idea of someone being disabled / autistic creates the idea that the person with them must be a caregiver, than the presence of someone who is not currently doing any visible caregiving being interpreted correctly by itself. is pretty obvious by visibly disabled people who do not need a caregiver at this time, having their friends / family / partners assumed to be caregivers constantly on the mere basis that they are around them, a visibly disabled person.
there is also general appearance: are they maybe covered in stains, etc? Very common for people with bad motor skill issues, since they might spill things daily. They might refuse to bathe frequently, or their caregivers have decided to not do it as frequently for other reasons, neglect of some form, etc. Are their clothes not picked for looks but for sensory friendliness? Are an adults clothes very "childish"?
Other "miscellaneous" behaviour like drooling, or throwing things. Meltdowns.
Are their interests "age inappropriate", like young children's shows? Do they read picture books? Do they otherwise appear childish? (Carrying around plushies, chewing things that look like teethers for babies, ...)
a lot of this is generally cumulative. Basically, having one or two things from the long list of behaviors / traits, especially in the less severe expressions, might not be enough to push someone over the line into the visibly autistic area, while a different combination or different severity of the same combination might do. Depending on where you live, etc. Again, its complicated & this isnt supposed to be a checklist or anything.
In short: disability aids, assistive tech, etc, like mobility aids, visible orthotics, AAC, specialized bottles or cutlery, ... general movement & control over your body. Limited Communication and less reactiveness to others communication. Needing carers. Drooling, stimming in loud, large or simply very "unusual" ways (e.g. chewing past a certain age & with unusual objects). Meltdowns. I'm surely forgetting some things as well.
What a lot of these have in common is that their similarity to the developmental stages of babies, toddlers & younger children makes a lot people mentally categorize visibly autistic people as either "child like" or "mentally the same as children". Because who also spills things on themselves a lot? Who chews on things? Who jumps around when they should be sitting down? Who's motor skills are not fully developed yet? Who cant speak yet, or speak more than a few words, ....? Young humans, that's who.
It's hard to make definitive statements like "only x autistics get treated x way", but pretty much anyone who observes different autistics treatment will realize that people who exhibit the above traits are on average treated a lot more like:
-they are unable to / or shouldn't be allowed to make basic decisions about their own life, including medical care, where they live (you dont want to live in an institution? Well your family wants you there though, etc) when they sleep, eat, bathe, especially if they need assistance with that, or any other thing filling up the time in their day. How they look (carers might control their clothing options, ability to get tattoos or piercings, etc), their ability to understand and consent to sex or romantic relationships, ...
- they are Not Human, they are Literally A Child (not as vague vibes deep down motivating this treatment, but frequently as direct statements) and they are not worth my attention, respect, time to understand their forms of communication, or emotional closeness such as in a friendship, because they are not my Equal
- they should not be in public at all because they are disruptive with their stims / meltdowns / communication needs / ... they should be segregated from society as much as possible, in seperate schools or classrooms, institutions, ...
- they are unable to learn the same things as their peers academically, regardless of actual academic ability. Their ability to learn how to read or write might be disregarded without any attempts at actually teaching it, etc.
#ok i genuinely cant read thru this myself. like its too long. so i hope this is like. idk. understandable to some#asks#anon

All posts and replies run on queue. Though sometimes i wont queue replies depending on my motivation but it will be rare for now. Queued replies tend to go up in the evening. There are six muse related posts daily. Be it memes, things my muses like or muse photos. Those go up all throughout the day and usually alternate content to keep the page from feeling spammy.
The ages can vary depending on the rp so just ask if you want to change the age, but by default, it tends to be around what it says on their bios.
Continue for muse info - All muses are 18+ - STARTER CALL - ASK MEMES - WANTED PLOTS - All Muses are Original Characters - Unless I'm sick I never go past 3 days without replying. - 3 girls and 4 boys.
Rio - 152cm - 2003 - Inugami (Dog demon) Black and white Akita- Autistic, chronically Ill, PTSD, and anxious. - part-time fashion model and part-time shop worker - Pansexual (no preference) - Has a teen verse for people who want to explore her traumatic past. She is around 16 in that verse.
Anxious autistic girl. Dealt with a lot of abuse in her youth and now struggles with the trauma. She relies heavily on her emotional support dog Akachan a lot. She doesn't talk to her parents anymore. Her parents disowned her for being disabled and her mother tried to kill her when she was young. She was homeless for many years and dealt with a lot of abuse during this time. She tends to avoid people as she is afraid of being hurt again. Though she keeps to herself deep down she is desperate for love and acceptance. She wishes to not be alone anymore but is scared to reach out to new people.
Cho Hye-Bin - 172cm - 1997 - Nickname Hayden - Tengu (Crow demon) - Autistic, PTSD, addictive personality and anger issues - Freelance writer - Bisexual (prefers females)
Autistic and a bit of a loner. Dealt with a lot of trauma from past relationships. She is a protective person who tends to avoid relationships but likes to fool around. She has a sister but isn't close with her. She also doesn't talk to her parents anymore. Her mother always hated her for not being straight. She is soft spoken and rather intimidating looking but she is actually rather protective and caring underneath her often angry looking expression. She has an addictive personality and is trying her best to avoid falling into old habits but even now she drinks to numb herself and quiet her mind.
Hikari Ogawa - 167cm - 1998 - Half human and half alien - ADHD and addictive personality - Nail artist and hairstylist - Bisexual (prefers males)
Autistic and a bit out there Hikari is a style conscious person. She loves partying and takes no shit from anyone. She has a terrible past that she loves to avoid talking about. She's prone to addiction but as an alien is harder to die from them. She is hot headed and outspoken but she will protect you with every fiber of her being and not ever question it.
Kyou Imai - 160cm - 2000 - Energy Vampire (feeds off attention and emotions) - Anemia and autism - Aspiring idol and secret cam boy - Bisexual (prefers males)
Though he's an energy vampire he can eat human food. But must consume energy too. Not just one or the other. Though he doesn't have to eat as much food as most.
He's a huge flirt and the type of muse you think is innocent but is the total opposite. He's also a virgin because he thinks no one is good enough for him. Also despite his perverted and lewd side, he's actually quiet and reserved. He's a cam boy because it was that or being homeless and when doing that he wears a cloth mask to hide part of his face. He can be confident because his identity is hidden. In real life, he has no confidence and struggles to maintain relationships. Because of this, he's a bit of a loner with only a few close friends. He has tattoos and smokes, he's not as innocent as he seems but that's what he likes, he enjoys surprising people when they get to know him.
Chaiyo Chaikham - 162cm - 1998 - Bakeneko (Cat demon) - Autistic and anemia- Aspiring idol and part-time shop worker - Gay
Chai is an aspiring idol. He's a bit clumsy and overly friendly. He's always smiling and overall is very happy. Though he's a bit awkward when it comes to meeting new people due to his autism he does pretty well with making and keeping friends, though he struggles romantically. He is a cat demon which is a yokai from Japanese lore. Though he is Thai his species can come from any country. He has a few siblings but isn't close with them. Overall he isn't very close with any of his family as they dislike the goals he's set for himself career wise.
Arun (Ah-roon) Siriwong - 182cm - Unknown Birthday - Nickname Sky - Vampire (friendly kind) - OCD, sensitive to the sun and overprotective - Gang leader and model - Pansexual (no preference)
Sky is a vampire. Known by most as the friendliest vampire. He's lived a long time and has since forgotten his exact age. He's over protective of his community as his mother died because of prejudice against his kind. He is a born vampire while hus mother was turned by his father. He's dated many during his long life but none ever wished to turn for him. He has avoided relationships for about a hundred years now and he's hesitant due to all the loss in his past. He is protective of his friends and anyone he let's into his life. Though he survives well on blood bags, he's prone to going too long without feeding which can be dangerous.
Mitsuki Iwata - 175cm - 2002 - Inugami (Dog demon) Black Shiba Inu - Autistic and asthmatic - part-time model and part-time shop worker - Pansexual (no preference)
Mitsuki is a model most of the time. He adores fashion and likes being creative. He's socially awkward and struggles to make and keep friends. Being autistic on top of being part alien he tends to keep to himself as he's afraid of being judged by others. He's very close with his family and once he feels he can trust you then he can become very attached. He's quiet and often soft-spoken spoken but he opens up once he knows the person well enough. He's afraid of being judged so keeping to himself helps him feel secure.

Hey hawk, did you observe a pattern among people who participate in Woke-ism culture, they seem to have similar "traits" and "personality"? Dislike the "straight" orientation (usually identify themselves as gay/lesbian/bi and brags they are LGBT every second), they seem to think gender identity is a personality trait etc therefore "I'm holier than thou because I list myself as she/he/they/it". I bet they are gonna scream at me for being whatever "phobic" just because of this post lol
*clears throat* yeah they gonna scream at you but they can’t scream at me because it’s been a year that I am in an lgbt relationship soooo xD
Ofc I noticed this kind of behavior, these woke ppl really like be ‘different’ and tbh the thing I find more irritating is when they define themselves ‘autistic’ or ‘asperger’ or ‘adhd’ whathever other mental illness/condition, because these are serious things that should be diagnosed by a specialist and not an online tests, and usually ppl who have a real problem are not so incredibly vocal about it. Sure they don’t brag with it....”but I don’t have money to take a test and my parents don’t let me!” they say? yeah. could be. but it also could be that you just wanna look special and since you’re socially anxious or shy or just a b*tch, you like to play rude and then justify yourself with those labels, and if someone dares tell you you’re a piece of shit you can call them ableist lol
Same for race or country. Not taking anything away from populations/countries/cultures/religions that have been oppressed, but sometimes I cringe cause some ppl try so hard to fit in this. Like, at some point 99% of populations were invaded by others and oppressed, and I’m sorry for welsh ppl, to just name one (no offense it’s the first that came to my mind cause I read a post recently lol) but if this continues we’re gonna have to seek justice for the victims of the vikings’ raids lolol
Anyway, back to what you were saying. I partly get that lgbt ppl are vocal about what they are bc maybe they can’t tell their families or friends, and they use social media as outlets. but like you said, your personality is not defined by who you f*ck and/or love (It’s not even defined by the fiction you like, actually, but they think so). So while I understand ppl describe themselves in their profile and specify their gender identity and sexuality, for me it’s cringey when they take it too far. Like when they start with all the labels ever, or they make combinations...demisexual panromantic/asexual demiromantic/trans nonbinary aroace spectrum...sounds like a competition of who’s less ordinary. Bonus points if they also add race and illness. Bonus points if they pretend they’re experts and activist and they shit on ppl who ship something or speak of top/bottom bc they’re fetishizing gay mlm/wlw and how dare they, dirty cishets (cause Anon, straight is a too banal word lol).
(also...not to offend ‘aroace’ ppl out there but...when someone is like 12...couldn’t it be that they’re just...too young for caring about sex/love? asking for a friend lolol)
I mean, tumblr has a lot of lgbt ppl and it’s cool, and I know it’s hard to live as an lgbt person cause you can’t do what het ppl do normally, like kissing in public or holding hands or writing cute posts on fb bc someone might bitch or be even worse, so this creates a bitterness and aggressiveness on social media I guess, especially here where minorities are the majority lol. And I too, on my personal blog, occasionally ranted about things like internalized homophobia and queerbaiting, but only very rarely lol and no one paid attention to me, guess I am not lgbt enough hahahah
But, it’s stupid to use sexuality labels as a shield to shit on ppl and then call them --phobic when they react. It actually happened to me a couple of years ago, I wrote something about bottom Sasuke and this self defined aromantic+asexual+autistic+gay american dude attacked me for fetishizing gays. Back then I was in a relationship with a guy so for him I was only a boring straight person I guess, a gross fujoshi who dared like mlm haha. fuck him. If I were the same type of person as him I would have pulled the oppressed card, I could have attacked him reminding him that his country treated italian immigrants like animals, and that they had this veeeery big problem of being unsure about our ‘race’ so in their papers they often wrote ? cause they couldn’t understand if we were poc or not...but it would have been kinda off topic and I cartainly don’t waste time talking about me to ppl I don’t even trust to be what they say.
Also because I was raised by parents who were very politically involved, so I remember them doing activism, like, getting out of the house, going to protests, doing volunteering, even taking me along when I was little. So even tho now everything happens online first, and even tho posts can spread awareness and change ppl’s minds, I still don’t trust when I see those blogs full of angry woke activism, because they seem fake and even those ppl seem fake. It’s easy to scream for justice from a keyboard, in a comfortable house. It’s less easy to protest in the cold, risking to have problems with the police, the government, the pandemic, whatever else.
It’s irritating that wokies want to take the right to like smth in the right way or whatever, telling everyone else who don’t fit in the minority group that they can’t like the thing. Idk, I just wish ppl were like in Eastern Asian fandoms, not making everything about themselves, being open minded enough for whatever ‘different’ thing whether they are into it or not, and if they’re not ignoring it only.
And I do get wanting to fit the minority, as a teenager I was veery punk/gothic, depending on the moment, and I never fit in the majority opinions or habits anyway. And I was kind of fluid with my identity and sexuality, but silly me, I kept it for myself, even tho I discussed with those who insulted lgbt ppl and I wrote stuff where everyone is bisexual by default, thinking that it was how people were born before society conditioned them...I could have bragged but I had no idea about ‘fluid’ or ‘pan’, silly me.
I am so irritated at everything, like the words they use, even the english language that is not mine, is getting on my nerves because it’s the vehicle for their crap, but these periodically trending words are disgusting like these ppl to me.
I migth have gone out of topic again lol.

I don't really have anything specific in mind, I'm actually kinda lost as to what to look for jkjsksjk I know I identify with some traits, like sensory issues and difficulty communicating (I do have a diagnosis of social phobia, though I've been thinking maybe autism would better explain other aspects of my life beyond social interaction). I've been reading some articles regarding late discovering of autism and mostly looking for experiences, so I can compare to my own. I feel like I should be looking for something else but I don't really know what? lmao I don't think that was really helpful, anything you can share would be good to me
This is a really long post so I'm going to put it under a read more to not clog up other people's feeds but I think the main areas to cover are:
- verbal communication issues
was your vocabulary/reading ever under/over developed as a child? Having a really advanced vocabulary is just as much a sign of autism as having delayed development in this area. Also, having a very hard to pin down accent, or taking on others' accents Really easily is common amongst autistic people. Do you ever have trouble speaking? I experience selective mutism and when I'm overwhelmed/stressed/upset I often find it hard to speak out loud and have to communicate through messages/notes, though when I'm not mute I'm very eloquent and have always had a vocabulary that was advanced, other kids found it hard to talk to me when I was younger bc they couldn't understand me, but equally comprehension/vocabulary can be delayed/compromised and you might find it hard to understand others because you struggle with that sort of thing yourself. Do you have issues with your tone of voice ever? I find that I can't read my own tone of voice or my volume, some things will come out really bitchy-sounding or angry-sounding and I won't be able to tell, or I might be shouting and not know it because it all sounds the same in my head really.
- sensory issues
do you have issues with certain types of sound? volume? quantity? volume doesn't bother me, but too many different sources of noise will send me into a meltdown so fast. Do you struggle with certain smells, bright lights, tastes, textures of food or of clothing, certain sensations, for example I get really stressed out by having wet skin/hair, and I can't stand the sound/feeling of something rubbing over carpet. I also find some tastes to be overwhelming. Under-sensitivity or processing issues can also be a symptom. Do you ever struggle to process reading/listening to something? I have absolutely awful retention for auditory information, I can't hold more than around 4-5 words in my mind at any one time, and I can't follow auditory instructions at all if there's more than one step, it needs to be written down. I also often struggle to read things because I don't process the words and they just look like meaningless letters on a page to me. I also really struggle to process my own thoughts and order them, I'm able to talk out loud but there are times where I can't write my thoughts without speaking them first because ordering my thoughts while they're still inside my head is very difficult. I also have an under-sensitive sense of smell and taste at times. I can't even smell when meat has gone bad and everyone else I know says it really stinks, and like I can't tell the difference between chicken gravy and onion gravy, for example, because they taste almost identical to me. And senses aren't just the basic five, either. Do you have a particularly high OR low pain threshold? interoception is the perception of bodily functions. Do you have trouble identifying/noticing when you're hungry/thirsty or when you need to go to the toilet e.g. you didn't need to go pee a minute ago but now you're Suddenly absolutely bursting to go because you didn't notice it earlier at all. Proprioception is your perception of your movements, balance and of where your limbs are in relation to your surroundings. Do you bump into things or fall over seemingly nothing a lot? Have you ever been told/noticed you move "strangely"? Do you ever walk sort of on your tiptoes or toes-first rather than heels-first?
- social issues
do you have trouble reading body language? facial expressions? figurative language? tone of voice? not every autistic person will experience all of the above, I know people who can't read body language but can read tone of voice, or can't read figurative language but can read facial expressions, etc. etc. Personally I struggle with tone of voice a lot, I can't tell when people are being serious or not, or whether they're upset or not, tone of voice doesn't really tell me anything about how they're feeling of what they mean. Figurative language varies, I understand metaphors and I often understand sarcasm, although I won't get it if it's too deadpan, and I sometimes miss hyperbole and think people are being serious. I also can't tell whether people are teasing me or genuinely being mean the vast majority of the time. I tend to rely on speech patterns and word choice a lot to understand people, personally. I pick up on what sorts of words they use in what moods and use that largely to inform my interpretations of their current mood based on the words they're choosing. Do you ever struggle understanding what is/isn't socially appropriate? I overshare a lot bc I don't rlly understand what is "too much information" and what isn't, and I also don't understand really how to treat people differently based on their "social role", like I treat someone like a friend regardless of whether they're a stranger, a classmate, a friend, a family member, a colleague, a boss, a teacher, etc.
- need for routine/dislike of sudden/significant change
this isn't always as clear as like needing an entire day to be a routine, it can be little things. I'll give some examples: I have to brush my teeth in a specific way - I count the number of passes of the brush over each section of my teeth, I have to eat a sandwich in a specific order of bites, many food places I will order the same thing every/nearly every time and I will eat that order in the same way, I wash my body/hair in a certain way/order in the shower every time, sometimes I get weirdly obsessed with symmetry and I have to walk in a certain way and if I step "wrong" I have to hop around on one leg until I feel "balanced" again, I have to do my daily tasks on genshin impact in a certain order, etc. etc. I could probably think of more if I tried. I will often get distressed/overwhelmed/upset if any of these "routines" are disrupted somehow. My original method of eating a sandwich applied to when they're cut across into rectangles, so I used to hate eating triangle sandwiches because I couldn't eat them "correctly" until I figured out a similar way to eat triangle sandwiches, and now I Have to eat them in that way because it's "correct" and I'll feel uncomfortable otherwise. Note that this isn't like OCD because it's not anxiety-based, it's based on the fact that it feels like the "correct" way to do it, and that any other way is simply "wrong" and you don't like doing it "wrong". The need for routine and dislike of change might also manifest in needing to plan things ahead days in advance, you also might be like me and be very capable of impulsively doing things like going out if You decide to do it, but if someone Else suggests it, then you need the preparation time. - stimming/special interests
stimming can be honestly anything. I tap my foot, I sing, I have a whole folder names "stim games" on my phone, I type, I eat, I chew gum, I flap my arms, I scratch fabrics, I smell blankets/clothing. Stimming just means self-stimulation and is absolutely any repeated action that you find soothing/cathartic in any way. Under here I'm also going to mention samefoods: foods that you feel comfortable eating even when you don't feel comfortable eating anything else. Like if too much flavour/smell/texture feels overwhelming, most autistic people will have food/s that aren't at all stressful to eat and they can default to at those times. Mine is a specific brand of chicken nuggets, I'll often fall back on those when eating anything else feels overwhelming but I need to eat Something, and I can usually handle those when I can't handle other things.
as for special interests, they are anything that you're kind of obsessed with. You can have multiple, they can change over your life, but your interest tends to go much deeper than that of a neurotypical person's and you feel a need to know everything about it and struggle to hold conversations about other topics because it kind of just takes over your brain. when I was younger some of my special interests were final fantasy, anime, hello kitty, languages/linguistics has always been a special interest of mine, kpop is definitely one, astrology is also for sure one. I fall in and out of being obsessed enough with genshin to call it a special interest. I had a friend in highschool whose special interest was the periodic table, for a while they were obsessed with the 8 times table, and then it became dinosaurs. My little brother is autistic and his special interest has always been video games, he's really interested in retro games, he loves Minecraft and Mario too, when he was younger it was ben 10 for a while, there was also a period where all he wanted to do as a kid was rewatch the cars movies. Media likes to portray special interests as being academic but they can truly be absolutely anything. A desire to know absolutely everything about trains or flowers or kpop is just as much a special interest as neurology or maths or physics or smth like that.
Another thing I've just thought of to be noted, is hygiene:
some autistic people might appear to have borderline OCD tendencies where they can't handle dirt/mess and need everything to be tidy/clean all the time. This is definitely one of the stereotypes. But struggling with hygiene is just as much a symptom of autism. If you struggle to remember to shower/wash hands/brush teeth/do laundry/etc. that could well be an autism symptom. I found out I'm sensitive to mint and especially to toothpaste, it makes my mouth feel like it's burning and like I'll actually cry if it touches my tongue bc it hurts that much lmao. I discovered a toothpaste that's unflavoured and doesn't foam up and now I can brush my teeth without pain but for a long time I struggled with consistently brushing teeth bc of that. I also struggle with showering bc of being stressed out by wet hair/skin. Sometimes it's also a memory thing, and I forget to do these things. I also absolutely suck at keeping my room clean, idk why I just Really Can't lmaoooooo
I'm certain there are things I haven't covered, these are mostly pulling from my own experiences of autism from myself and those around me. All of this might apply to you, it might not, but I hope it makes sense and has given you a good starting point of things to examine within yourself and questions to ask yourself <3 I wish you well bub and please always feel free to ask more questions and/or talk to me more about your experiences <3

Hiya! Could I request Claire and the boys with a autistic s/o 👉👈 sorry if this seems a little weird but I'm curious 👉👈
As someone who is on the Autistic spectrum, I felt the need to write this one personally. Please don’t feel embarrassed at all, I’m glad I was able to write a set of head canons for this considering my own position on the spectrum. I’ll be answering two prompts in one here. The old request was an S/O with Autism on a date with the boys and Claire. I do hope you enjoy.~
Wilardo:
The two of you are out and about. Wil decided to take you to a botanical garden and specifically over to a vast section of flowers that you were quite interested in.
You happen to see one of your favorite subspecies of flower and begin to flap your hands.
Wil always found your little quirks endearing so any time he noticed you stimming in a positive manner he couldn’t help but crack a subtle smile in your direction
His good mood is interrupted however when he notices a group of passerbys begin to point and laugh.
Tears start to brim in your eyes as your stimming is interrupted and you hide behind Wilardo, utterly embarrassed due to the people poking fun at you.
Wilardo is silently fuming but he was reluctant to leave you since you were going into a crisis mode.
Instead he pats your head briefly before calling out, “Hey. Mind your own business or go somewhere else. I know the owner of this garden and they’d gladly kick you out with a simple word from me.”
He flashes a smug triumphant grin in their direction.
The ableists whine like the little snow flakes they are and leave.
Wilardo then turned his attention to you, his tone softening.
“Come with me.”
He gently takes your hand and leads you to a secluded part of the garden that had been roped off.
He continues to lead you even further inside, weaving through a rose hedge maze.
Roses were another flower you enjoyed so you focused on them as the two of you walked.
When you both reached the center of the maze there were several cherry blossom trees cusping over a large koi pond.
The two of you sit in a small wood fixture that was suspended partially over the pond.
He had brought you here mostly due to how easily overstimulated you could get especially while in crisis mode.
You nod, letting your leg bounce so you could stim.
“Just because they said those things. Doesn’t mean I’ll even judge you for stimming, [Y/N].”
You nod eagerly and scoot closer to him while the two of you watch the swimming Koi.
“Next time I see ‘em though I’ll kick their teeth in.~” He quipped at you with a grin.
Sirius:
He had brought you both to one of those public tea rooms.
Usually the lavender was the type to enjoy such pleasantries with you at home.
But regardless of spoiling you himself with his own skills he was not one to avoid spending atleast some of his earnings on his partner.
So as a change of pace he brought you out today.
And as nervous as he often was with going out into public, he felt confidence when bringing you.
Sirius held great admiration towards you, namely your ability to be yourself even considering how unique you were.
Which is why when hearing an odd comment from the member of the wait staff who had been attending you both his softer expression with you hardened.
Turning to the waiter in question, he stood.
And this was deemed odd considering Sirius was not one to make a scene in public. Perhaps at home should something happen but never when the two of you were out.
With a smile of which that you could only assume put the waiter in his place, Sirius stated this. “I do believe I’ll have a word with your store owner. Now.”
The waiter froze, attempting to mumble protests but Sirius was having none of it. “ I don’t believe I asked for your input on the matter, Did I? No I believe you over extended that yourself a moment ago when saying what you did about my partner. Now. If you don’t bring your store owner to me I’ll gladly find them myself. Considering I’m a regular and we know eachother quite well.”
Defeated, the waiter scurried off and into the back prep room.
Neither of you saw him again for the rest of that evening but instead you were both attended to by the store owner themselves.
They had set down one of those slow rise sweet shaped stim toys for you after having taken your order.
The rest of the afternoon was lovely, and the store owner had been sure to speak in length to Sirius concerning proper preparations for you both next time.
And you may have heard correctly but the earlier waiter seemed to have been dismissed from service entirely.
You talked about how much fun you had to Sirius on the way home.
Info dumping about the little things and that you liked that place because it wasn’t loud!
You had also explained again that most time you couldn’t go out for public outings since it was so loud.
Sirius had known your reasonings but listened again none the less.
Upon returning home the two of you sat in the library and picked out a few books.
Sirius would put off his duties for the day just abit longer in favor of some more time with you.
Noel:
He often struggled with the idea of public dates, namely because of how many would give him attention and it would detract from his time with you.
So today Noel had decided to bring you to a star gazing observatory.
You both arrived late in the evening, not many people were here other than the occasional maintenance staff for the equipment and the building itself.
The building itself was beautiful.
After only entering in the bottom floor you were enamored with all the stars littering the walls and ceilings.
You stimmed with your hands as you moved from one location to another.
The blonde only smiled, remembering a place like this one himself.
When his mom was still around, she’d wisp them both away to an observatory that she’d privately reserve just for her, and her son.
Noel would fall asleep in her lap on these visits while she would point out the constellations and talk about star names that would make up each constellation.
He had retained a lot of this knowledge from both hearing it and brushing up on it himself later in life by reading those same books again.
Approaching your side, he directed your attention to some of the mimicked constellations on the ceiling.
Softly stating their names and which stars made up each one.
Your eyes lit up, listening to him talk. He knew so much and it amazed you!
He continued his explanations as the two of you ascended the narrow spiral stair case to the tower itself.
Helping you to the top, he then lingered by the telescope and gestured for you to come closer.
“ Y/N I want you to look through the lens. “
Your head tilts but you do so anyway.
Shoulders dropping as countless numbers of stars dance across your vision.
You pull back and stare at him, mouth agape.
Noel only smiles, laughing softly once before encouraging you again. “Go on. It’s ok. Look as much as you like!”
It wasn’t often that Noel could share his passion like this with another.
In fact it was difficult for him to downplay his own interest like this in favor of feeling he may scare you off.
But to be proven wrong, it had his chest swell, looking at you like this now.
Perhaps he could share more with you than he had first imagined.
Ashe:
As boyfriends go, Ashe was protective, to put it lightly.
It wasn’t that he was possessive, no.
He was just paranoid when it came to not being in charge of certain situations.
You equated this to his trauma and did your best to be understanding of his situation
And you both have been quite good with communication especially when you felt he was being too cautious.
So after a lengthy discussion, Ashe caves and takes you somewhere he had often wanted to.
The two of you arrive at this small charming little café off the side of town.
Pastries, sweets, sandwiches, teas and even hand crafted sweet drinks were a specialty here.
The expanse of the menu was nearly overwhelming.
Ashe having expected this, had spoken to the wait staff ahead of time in asking to be seated in one of the quieter corners and to be given more time to look things over.
Though Ashe would often get the same thing from this location,he didn’t want you to feel pressured or rushed.
You were aware of your boyfriends hobbies so you asked him about the menu, he gave his own recommendations as well as stating which items he could and would make for you at home should you ever ask.
You settle on a softer mousse cake, and lavender milk tea.
Ashe orders a strawberry mousse cake for himself, and hibiscus tea.
When yours arrives, you try a bite and melt in place, eyes lit up as you simply stare at it.
Ashe laughs softly, “My my, Y/N is it truly that amazing?”
He made a mental note to make some for you himself at a later date.
Ashe enjoyed making sweets and meals for you, and as nice as it was to take you out.
There was a sense of pride for him with being able to make such things for you completely by himself.
On the way home you chattered about the cake and about how cute the location was.
All Ashe could do was watch your smile.
There was, a bittersweet nostalgia present here.
But he chose to keep it to himself.
For perhaps one day he’d choose to stop burying it.
Claire:
As bubbly as Claire was, she was often focused on doing things you wanted to do.
You both played off of each other well considering you both had sensory stims.
So, Claire understood you best or atleast that’s what you felt.
She took your hand and you both walked together to the farmers market.
She wanted to get some ingredients to bake with you today but you had no idea that she was bringing you here for another reason as well.
You pause and perk up once you both reach one of the corners of the market.
A petting zoo. There were so many animals, bunnies, small puppies and kittens, chickens, llamas, goats, and even a few baby calves.
You bounce in place turning to her and giving her the largest pair of puppy eyes you could manage.
Claire laughs and rubs your shoulder, “I didn’t only bring you here to shop! Let’s go see the new friends we can meet, ok?”
You throw both your hands up briefly and do a little skip as you take her hand and bring her along with you.
You both enter the small little zoo and you fixate on the bunnies.
There were so many and most all of them were bundled on top of each other in one corner of the open top enclosure.
They seemed to be sleeping so instead of interrupting you only chose to try to count how many were there sleeping.
Hopping from each enclosure, you’d either gently pat some of the animals there or you’d count all the ones that were sleeping.
A high pitched meow resonated near you and you looked down to see this tiny black kitten curling up on your foot.
Flapping your hands, you rub at your eyes briefly so not to cry over how cute it is before scooping it up.
You turn to Claire and stick out your lip.
She pauses and says, “Oh! That ones, cute-“
Then the realization resonates, “Ooooh, you want to bring it back with us huh?”
You nod, having gone non verbal. You gently squish the kitten in both of your arms as it chooses to nap there.
“Hm….ok!” Claire steps aside to talk to the owner and after some brief haggling you both walk away with a new small friend.
Later the two of you arrive home and you’re glued to the little fuzzball for the rest of the evening in between helping Claire with dinner and dessert.

okay i'm snapping what the hell is saints row about. who's the dude with the giant titties you keep thirsting over and who's the mcdonalds emo. i need some answers bc i don't know shit.
ill edit this w a readmore bc it got Very wordy and im on mobile but i promise you. this series is a mess, i live for it, i could go ON abt it for days but this response was long enough fhwkfhejhfnd
1) so basically the premise in most of the games is like. you are a member (leader as of sr2) of a street gang (the third street saints!) and though the story is tweaked slightly for each installment, the overall goal is the same- control different neighborhoods in your city, squash the other gangs, be badass. i *call* it a grand theft auto clone but tbh i havent played gta, the gameplay's similar enough though. the first two games are more uhh... grounded? than the later 3? the plotlines are darker, deaths & events are more fucked up in a heavier/moral sense, etc etc. but the last 3 are way more silly i think. the entire series is kinda packed with crude/sexual humour and essentially responding to a punch with a flamethrower, but it goes over the top in the newer games which is.. why i always liked em lol.
but its just funny in general to think of the plot progression. oh i witness a gang war so im recruited in a gang whose current leader... wants to end gang violence. oh that leader tried to kill me and arrested/killed everyone else so i am going to go apeshit on this city until i find him and kill him back. oh somehow we are international celebrities and do crime as publicity stunts, i am gonna ask mayor burt reynolds to help us with this zombie invasion. oh now i am president of the united states, time to get the earth blown up by an alien warlord and do it with whats left of my gang every survivor plus an ai in a ball.
ive seen Some Shit abt the general timeline but tbh ive always tried to piece it together like. ok these games take place in/around whatever year they were released. besides sr4 which would be... 2019 if my math is correct? i just felt like mentioning that bc i am not touching any canon timeline
OH ALSO the main reason i even got into the series. i literally bought sr3 because of the character customization. the body mods could.... use a lot of work imo but what you can do for your protags face is BANANAS... and changing voice pitch in sr4 was fun too bc male 1 was ok for my boss but having it just a teensy bit higher REALLY made it
tldr; i cant help you there i am just along for this ride
2) im assuming you mean johnny gat not bc theres any competition but like. theres so many dudes like that in this game
his role is actually pretty consistent in that he stays a lieutenant, and hes one of the rare characters (besides. the protag i think?) who's been in every single game. he's the designated badass of the saints and is really good at coming up with plans that involve lots of guns or blowing stuff up. if i typed everything i liked abt him right now this post would be a mile long but trust me he is an excellent man, even tho he might be the scariest motherfucker ever and i probably would be afraid of him irl, he fully deserves that. hes loyal to the saints and his boss which i absolutely respect. still bitter abt sr3 "killing" him bc cmon. he cannot die. does that count in the spoiler? its the literal first mission after u customize your character so i dont think so// whatever ive been posting untagged spoilers for the other games bc theyve been out for a decade
3) IM STILL LOSING MY MIND OVER THAT SJSDHADDHSI mcdonalds emo.... thats his legal name now....
but seriously matt miller is like. one of my fav characters from sr3. he's the leader of one of the rival gangs, the deckers, and they specialize in hacking & money laundering and stuff like that. matt specifically is 16 in his debut game which is really funny to learn bc imagine being a ballsy ass kid repeatedly nae naeing the us government because you can.
anyway i like him bc instead of killing the other gang leaders like usual, u just fight him in a vr world and ur both sick ass dragons and he decides "actually i dont wanna go brain dead. ill give u either weapons or car discounts" then he fucks off back to england. then it lets him come back for sr4 and yall are friends now :D yes yall tried to kill each other but whats past is past. i would be his friend irl honestly hes great. also im still firm on the autistic matt train bc of how often he shares his love for nyte blayde & im WEAK over the boss eventually getting into it as well
#response#groovenians#saints row#someone please help me out my sr1 knowledge is not as great as the other games#but yeah this series is peak me. funy s*x joke. hot dudes. organized crime. character customization. its great#ppl upload cutscenes and stuff on yt too if ur interested!!! but if ur more into story start with sr1 bc thats where it all starts#aaaand if u just wanna jump into the haha funny stuff sr3 or 4 are fun#gat out of hell technically is a standalone expansion but i LOVE the plot in that one. obv lots of religious imagery tho#what am i missing. oh yeah im not messin around w the first two games being darker#like it works in gettin u attached to characters but also. sr2 made me feel sick. if u dont want that PLEASE stick to the newer games
