Event Management Solution - Clearevent
What are the 5 elements of event management?
The five essential elements of event management are foundational components that guide the successful planning and execution of any event. These are often referred to as the 5 Cs of Event Management:
Tumblr media
1. Concept
This is the initial stage where the idea or purpose of the event is developed. It involves answering questions like:
What is the goal of the event? (e.g., marketing, education, entertainment)
Who is the target audience?
What type of event will it be? (conference, workshop, gala, etc.)
This phase sets the tone and theme of the event, ensuring alignment with objectives.
2. Coordination
This involves detailed planning and organization:
Budget creation and management.
Securing a venue.
Managing resources (staff, equipment, materials).
Creating a timeline and ensuring all tasks are assigned and tracked.
Coordination ensures that every aspect of the event is well-structured and runs smoothly.
3. Control
Monitoring the progress and execution of the event plan:
Ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Risk management and troubleshooting.
Quality control to meet the desired standards.
It’s about staying on top of logistics and resolving issues promptly.
4. Culmination
This is the actual execution of the event:
Ensuring the event unfolds as planned.
Overseeing live operations, guest experiences, and vendor management.
Responding to real-time challenges or unexpected situations.
It’s the moment when all prior efforts come to fruition.
5. Closeout
Post-event wrap-up and evaluation:
Conducting a debrief with the team and stakeholders.
Analyzing event performance against goals (e.g., attendee feedback, ROI).
Settling financials (payments, refunds).
Documenting lessons learned for future events.
This phase ensures a professional finish and continuous improvement for future events.
Would you like tips or tools for managing any of these stages?

Starting a Non Profit: A Checklist
Meta: How should you go about starting a non-profit? Read about it here and sign up for an event listings app for social service organizations to market your non-profit.
Tumblr media
Starting a non-profit sounds exciting. After all, it’s a noble cause and the perfect opportunity for you to step into philanthropy. However, kick-starting a non-profit social service organization requires more than a kind heart and a dream to serve the community. You also need to address dozens of other aspects to ensure your non-profit succeeds in the long run.
Here are a few items to mark off your checklist before officially starting a non-profit.
Do Your Research
Starting a non-profit isn’t something you can do on a whim. Before you actually set up an organization, you need to know exactly what you aim to achieve. This requires extensive research and planning.
Here are a few questions to consider:
Who will you serve?
What social issue are you targeting?
Are there other non-profits working for the same cause?
Is launching a non-profit for this issue feasible?
Is there a need for your non-profit?
How will you structure your non-profit?
Can you commit to this cause long-term?
It’s imperative to do your due diligence before starting a non-profit. This will give you direction.
Tumblr media
Write Your Mission Statement
This may sound like a simple thing, but the mission statement is one of the most important elements of your non-profit. It essentially defines what your company does, who it helps, and how it contributes to the growth of your chosen community. In doing so, it serves as the foundation for your non-profit’s current and future endeavors.
You also need a mission statement for fundraising and grant approvals. Your financiers need to know you’re clear about your goals, and a well-crafted mission statement helps do that. It doesn’t have to be lengthy. Even a sentence or two can get the job done, as long as you accurately convey what your organization does.
Moreover, the mission statement also helps market your organization, recruit talent, and motivate your internal teams. It ensures everyone is on the same page and working toward a shared interest (i.e., your cause). Try to incorporate your organization’s core values in your mission for maximum impact.
Tumblr media
Take Care of the Legal Issues
The next thing you need to do is file articles of incorporation. This is essentially a formal request made to the state to recognize your organization as a business. Once this request is approved, you can legally operate as a business. You’ll need to determine which department or regulatory body to turn to for this procedure as this varies across states. You’ll also need to thoroughly go over the documentation required as these also differ across states.
Once you’ve filed articles of incorporation, you need to file for tax-exempt status. Your non-profit is officially a business, but it isn’t yet exempted from tax. To achieve that status, you need to clarify the type of 501(c) organization you’ve formed and begin the relevant tax-exempt application process. Make sure you consult a paralegal for this to follow the correct steps and acquire federal and state tax-exempt status.
Tumblr media
Market Your Nonprofit
Now that you’re officially ready for business and have addressed legal obligations, it’s time to get the word out. It’ll take some time for your organization to grow and gain momentum, but your marketing efforts should commence from day one. Promoting your non-profit across online and offline channels will help you acquire the talent, resources, funds, connections, donations, and beneficiaries to work on your cause and gradually take it to the next level.
Every non-profit is different. What works for one may not necessarily be the right marketing strategy for another. Take out some time to analyze your marketing needs, set realistic goals, and develop strategies that would help you achieve your desired results. It’s a good idea to establish a social media presence early on to build traffic and create awareness. This will also help you gain volunteers and expand your professional network.
Non-Profit Organizations Listings App
All set to commence operations at your newly launched non-profit? Make sure you register it on an exclusive non-profit organizations listings app.

The hot seat.
Synopsis: You decide to attend a speed dating event in the city where you're deployed. Simon “Ghost” Riley, your lieutenant, is also there.
Relationship: Simon “Ghost” Riley x F!Reader
Word Count: 1,595
Notes:
I got this idea after a friend told me she matched with one of her colleagues on Tinder.
Fluff.
Want more?
———————————————————————
“Why don’t you just give it a try?” One of your friends suggested, “It’s not like you’ll be committing to anything.”
And when you told them there are other ways to meet new people, such as dating apps, they laughed so hard that you felt offended. “You don’t trust your own shadow,” one of them said, “how could you possibly trust a couple of pictures and a few messages before meeting a stranger?”
They were right; not only had it been months since your last date, but your trust issues weren’t helping. So you listened to your friends and decided to give it a shot. This could be your opportunity to get “back on the horse.”
They wanted to come to your house a few hours before to advise you on what to wear—it seems like it wasn’t just you who had trust issues. “You have a thing with self-sabotage,” one of them admitted, “and we don’t want you to portray yourself as less than who you really are.” A bolt claim from Jessica, the master of self-sabotage, who kept bailing her partner out of jail because he was constantly breaking into people’s houses.
You politely declined, promising to do your best. You chose a little black dress, opaque tights, and black heels. You let your hair down for once, since the army wouldn’t let you, and applied some make-up—but not too much—to enhance your features.
The speed dating event is held in a trendy downtown bar. The room is crammed with small tables, each with two chairs facing each other. You take a deep breath and walk over to the registration desk. You sign up, fill out a form with your information, and they hand you a name tag.
“This Is What You Came For” plays over the speakers, and you can’t help but wonder what made the DJ choose that song. What did I come here for, Rihanna? You think to yourself. To tell a stranger in three minutes about my food preferences and favourite colour? Is that what will ensure compatibility?
Your nerves start to kick in, so you rush to the bar. Your options are limited to beer or wine, according to the bartender. When you ask why, he starts narrating the horrors he’s seen of people attempting to calm their nerves with shots before the speed date. You choose wine and turn to face the people you’re about to meet in three-minute rounds. A few catch your eye; some look intimidated, while others appear overconfident and exuberant. “Peacocks”, as you call them.
The event organiser announces the beginning of the event, and you make your way to your assigned table. Dread grips you. What if you don’t meet anyone interesting? What if everyone you talk to is dull or uninteresting? You take a seat and wait for the event to start.
The first guy who sits down is a health freak, to put it mildly. He gets up at 4 a.m., lifts “hard” for two hours, goes to work, and waits until his next workout at around 6 p.m. He says he likes chicken because of its high protein content and asks what your favourite food is, to which you respond, “Haribos,” to piss him off.
The next one is a cryptocurrency investor. Enough said.
The third guy is a motivational speaker. You’re unsure about the “motivational” part, but he’s undeniably a “speaker.” He doesn’t. Stop. Talking. He only asks for your name, which you don’t have to say because it’s written on your tag. He then starts mumbling about books he’s read and the importance of a proper and consistent morning routine. He and Mr Health Freak could have easily become soul mates, you think to yourself.
Three minutes pass like hours, and you lower your head to the table. This was a mistake. Coming here was, as you suspected, a bad idea.
“I see you’ve already given up.” The man in front of you comments with a smile.
You look up and meet his gaze. He is tall and well-built, with short blonde hair and dark brown eyes. But it’s his sleeve tattoo that draws your attention.
It’s familiar to you. You’ve seen it before, peeking through a military uniform and tactical gloves.
Simon “Ghost” Riley.
You’d never seen him without his mask, but his build, voice, and tattoos are distinct. Your heart is racing as you struggle to remain calm. He, too, appears surprised. Did he not recognise you at first because of your make-up and hair?
Well, it seems like he recognises you now. But you’re not supposed to acknowledge his true identity; doing so might destroy everything he’s worked so hard to keep hidden all these years. It may also jeopardise your professional relationship.
But, my God, he’s hot. He’s exactly as you imagined him, if not better. It’d be best to act as cool as possible. Ignorant, stupid, call it whatever you want—just don’t reveal his identity. There are tens of thousands of people named Simon, and you are not supposed to give your surname to the other person here. So all you know about him is his name. He could be any of the other “Simons” out there.
You immediately put on a happy-go-lucky face and smile, trying to muster the courage to date your lieutenant for three minutes.
“Hi, I’m Y/N,” you reply, trying to play it cool.
He fidgets in his seat, still feeling uneasy. You need to act quickly.
“Yes, I’m about to give up,” you moan and pout, “so please, for the love of God, be a decent one.”
He lets out an awkward chuckle. “I’m not sure about that,” he says.
“Oh, really?” You exclaim, raising your eyebrows, “Unless you speak nonchalantly about yourself, chuck twelve egg yolks in the morning, or boast about imaginary coins, you’re good.”
“Ah,” he says hesitantly, “no, I prefer my eggs cooked.”
“Boiled, scrambled, or sunny side up?”
“I don’t mind as long as they’re cooked properly.” He responds, and you raise your fist to your mouth.
“I assume no runny egg whites?” You ask, making a disgusted face.
“Christ, no.” He smiles and shakes his head.
He appears more at ease now, thinking you haven’t identified him.
But then another problem arises. When dating, one of the first questions you usually ask is about the other person’s occupation.
“So, Simon,” you say, “what do you do for a living?”
“I, um, work as an operator,” he replies. “And you?”
That was a wise move on his part. He knows you’ll relate if he discloses his primary occupation, and you’ll start speculating. So he decided to reveal his side job. Although he is not completely honest with you, which could be interpreted as a red flag, there is a serious reason behind his answer.
“I’m a sergeant in the military,” you admit.
He nods and smirks but doesn’t ask a follow-up question.
“I’m sorry,” he says, “I’m not very good at this.”
“Neither am I,” you chuckle, “but I can help you.”
“Thank you,” he says.
“Do you prefer cats or dogs, Simon?”
“I like both,” he says, “I can’t have a preference for animals; they aren’t eggs.”
“Phew!” You exclaim, theatrically placing the back of your hand on your forehead, “most of the men I met today hate cats!”
“Yeah,” Simon agrees. “I believe it’s because they don’t have control over them like dogs.”
“I feel bad for most of the women in here,” you say, looking around, “for settling for such controlling personalities.”
“How do you know I’m not controlling?” He asks, his brow furrowed.
“Men whose job is to order soldiers around, tend to live a more chilled lifestyle.” You elaborate.
“Order soldiers?” He asks, and you immediately stiffen up. “How do you know I order soldiers at my work?”
“I, um, assume you do because of your profession.” You stutter and look down at your lap.
“I said I’m an operator,” he smirks, leaning back in his chair with his arms crossed, “but I never said what kind of operator I am.”
Your chair has turned into a hot seat all of a sudden.
“From what you know, I could be a heavy machinery operator.” He adds, his smile widening.
You blush and turn to look at the clock; time’s almost up.
He leans forward to the table. “Why such eagerness to end our date, sergeant?” he whispers, “I thought we were doing so well.”
You raise your head to look at him. “I’m sorry, Lt.,” you admit, “I just didn’t want to make you feel uncomfortable.”
“I appreciate that,” he says, “but knowing that you know who I am is already uncomfortable, don’t you think?”
You look down again, and he continues.
“Perhaps it would have been better to acknowledge the elephant in the room from the beginning.” He explains.
You let out a sigh. “You’re right,” you say, “I should have been more honest.”
He nods, and the bell rings for your next date. Simon gets up from his chair and smiles at you.
“Normally, I’d end this with a nice to meet you,” he says, “but in this case, it’s more of a nice getting to know you better,” he adds, extending his hand for a handshake.
You stand up and take his hand in yours. “Likewise, Lt.,” you say, smiling.
“See you tomorrow,” he says.
“For another date?” You joke, “You move too fast, Simon.”
“For the best military drill of your life,” he corrects you with a smirk, “for thinking you could fool me so easily.”

So I have some upsetting.. events to share that I promised to keep secret, but this blog is secret, so it feels like I'm not breaking my promise by putting the secret into the well of secrets.
My roommate came to me today with some documents for a sanitary permit for work, and asked me to translate it and explain to her where to go. I translated it, and offered to take her to the microbiology lab since I knew where it was. She still looked worried and lost, but didn't know how to explain in english what was going on. I encouraged her to talk into her translator app, which would then translate everything in english, and I'd understand what's going on.
She then proceeded to speak in Nepali, and the translation was: 'I don't know how things work in here. I still haven't received a salary for this month. It's confusing and I don't know what is going on.' I was concerned, and asked her if she had received salary for her work before this, and she said yeah, and went on to explain that she first came here via her agent, and she was working at the sea side, doing the seasonal work, and she was paid for that part. But then the season was over, her work permit ran out, her agent left her, and she got work in the Thai restaurant with the woman who brought her to live with me. Without her agent, she didn't know how to get her salary, or who to talk to. I asked if she could talk with her employer, and she grimaced and said she couldn't, because the woman is angry at her.
I asked more questions, and she teared up and showed me a small injury on her leg, explaining that the woman yells at her, gets angry with her for not understanding croatian, and yesterday she threw a knife and injured her leg. I was horrified, but she asked me to please not tell anyone about this. I promised not to. (you gyns don't count okay. shhh. you won't tell anyone either).
She then slowly explained that she said to the employer multiple times, that she'll go and find a new job if the employer isn't happy, but the employer said no! She can't find another job because she'd already signed a contract to work for her until the work permit runs out, but she didn't even get the permit yet, and the employer said she'd cancel the work permit if she quits. I was scandalized and suggested we tell someone or call the police, but then realized she can't go to the police as an immigrant without a work permit, it's illegal for her to work in the first place. I looked over her work contract and the contract said the work started only when she got her work permit, so the contract has not even started working, but without working for this woman, she can't get the permit, and won't be able to find another job without a permit. I tried to find a way around this, but was then overcome by the pain in my neck and had to lie down (I was sitting up for too long) and she said thank you, and went off.
I looked up the requirements to get a work permit in croatia, to find that you already have to have an employer, and have to submit the registration number of the company you're working for, just to get a work permit, and if the permit is connected to the employment, quitting might mean that you lose the permit, which leaves workers vulnerable to exactly this type of abuse. I am stressed, I have no clue what to do. I hate it here. Mobbing at work is so common here that about half of my roommates complained about it, and it seems croatian people give themselves even more freedom if it's immigrants who have nowhere else to go. I'm not good with legal stuff, it was my first time even looking into this, so I don't know what would be a good solution for this. Does anyone have an advice or further insight into how things like this could be resolved?
The work contract stated it can be resolved by the employer or the employee, but upon looking for rules and requirements for such a thing, it was clearly written for the native people who didn't need a work permit, and didn't depend on the employer to get them one. So what is a woman supposed to do when she gets a knife thrown at her at her workplace?
The only help I could offer was to teach her croatian so maybe the woman wouldn't get so mad over her not understanding the language, but it's a hollow help, not resolving the danger of working in a violent place. I'm upset. She told me all this in confidence and called me 'my friend and my sister' which made me tear up but I feel helpless to do anything.

In a cozy café in Amsterdam, with plush sofas and warm lighting, a group of people sit around talking, laughing, and playing board games. But something noticeable is missing. There is not a single phone in sight. It's one of a regular series of community events held by the burgeoning Offline Club, where members pay around $8.00 to leave their phone in a lock box at the door and spend the next few hours unplugged. Demand is growing rapidly. What started as a local initiative is quickly turning into a global movement with regular events hosted in cafés, churches, and town halls selling out fast across the UK, Denmark, and the Netherlands.
2025 marks the turning point when people will try to spend less time on screens and to reclaim meaningful in-person connections.
Yondr, founded in the US, partners with comedy clubs, arenas, clubs, and schools to organize phone-free events. Jack White, Bob Dylan, Garth Brooks, John Mayer, Madonna, and Adele have all implemented cell phone bans at their concerts so they could stop looking out at a sea of blinking smartphones, and to help the audience to connect by disconnecting.
Meetup, the global platform that enables over 60 million people to use the internet to get off the internet and meet up in the real world, had a 19 percent rise in registrations in 2023. The latest Meetup Measurement Report showed that the number one reason people use the platform is to find meaningful connections in person, a 50 percent rise over previous years. “Friends” is the most popular search term for events, and “Book Club” is back in the top 10.
We are reaching toward things that knit us back into the social fabric of local life. According to new research in the UK from the National Lottery Community Fund, half of UK adults intend to participate in local volunteering activities, both formally and informally in 2024. Over 70 percent say it's important to them to feel part of their local community.
The growing demand for real-world interactions is emerging from a confluence of societal challenges, namely the increasing awareness of the adverse effects of spending way too much time on screens, and the loneliness epidemic. Recent research by Gallup showed that 80 percent of young people under the age of 18 report feeling lonely, with 22 percent saying they have no real friends. Zero. Twelve percent of adults admitted to having no close friends in 2021, compared to just 3 percent 30 years ago. In these stats is a collective cry of loneliness. People don't just want followers anymore; they want real friendships.
But 2025 could mark the turning point of this deep friendship recession. It is the year when a rising number of people swap screen time for real-world interactions.
Today, there is a deep sense of loss or longing, across generations, for a time before constant connectivity, apps, and algorithms. That sentiment is called anemoia, the nostalgia for a time or a place one has never known.
Take the recent rise in popularity of vinyl records, Polaroid cameras, board games, and even mixtapes. According to the Recording Industry Association of American, 43.2 million EPs/LPs were sold last year, up from less than a million in 2006. From classic card games to board sets such as Monopoly and Cluedo, the compound annual growth for the board gaming market is over 9 percent. The Polaroid market is expected to double over the next seven years from $2.93 billion in 2024 to over $5.72 billion in 2031. Or the surprising resurgence of independent booksellers enjoying their sixth consecutive year of growth—a revival meeting the demand for real recommendations from real people. As of 2023, there are 2,185 independent bookstores in the United States and 1,072 in the UK.
There is a clear pining for a pre-dating-app era, with younger generations moving away from the endless swiping and “ghosting.” According to the 2023 Statista survey, millennials make up 61 percent of dating app users, whereas Gen-Z comes in at only 26 percent. Dating apps like Bumble have introduced local IRL events, including tennis tournaments, cooking or spin classes, and cocktail nights, marketed on the promise to “meet up, chat, and make moves in person.”
2025 is when people start to reclaim the communal experiences and deeper connections that have been lost in our lives. It marks a critical societal turning point where people prioritize real-world connections over the deluge we face on our digital devices. To reconnect by disconnecting.

Seeing what's happening with whb, I wanna make a list of suggestions for pretty busy to improve it (I accept suggestions btw & I'll be updating the list with them)
Disclaimer: I know they are like 15-20 people & I'm really happy with the game, but these are some things that make a lot of us angry. The number of the list doesn't mean priority.
If they're seeing this or anyone can make this reach to them I'd be really grateful 🙏🏻
1. Make a way to transfer accounts from Google Play, App store or Erolabs. Or uncensor everything back to how it was.
We are getting really tired of the stupid censorship that's happening because of pointless reports. It's a +18 nsfw game & we signed for that & the fact that entitled parents are doing this is not okay.
2. An easier way to get candies.
The only "fast" way to get them is in one chapter battle & they're random. We need a lot of candies for the secret club & they're hard unless it's an event period.
3. Quick level up button.
If you have a card on lvl 1 & you wanna level it up all the way to 20, it's time-consuming having to do it one by one
4. Make Gabriel & Mammon 🍑 available for more players
Okay, this one may sound unfair, but it's the same as the bloodshed cards. Mammon's is not so unfair if we take into account that it was a free Erolabs pre-registration reward.
5. L cards for the archangels/seraphim & other demons
Y'all I wanna have Miguel & Marbas so that I can do whatever I want to them if you know what I mean 😏 & I know that a lot of people want the other 2 seraphim & the other A-S rank demons
6. Fix the pronoun bug
This one is very self-explanatory
7. Increase the rates of the gacha
0.50% on an L card? Really? That's not even 1 from 100 pulls
8. Secret shop time
Most of us can't stay up til 1 am 💀
9. More info about the seraphim & no-L demons
Even the horn/"horn" size & their heights

My Saturday
I set my alarm for 8:30am so I could have some breakfast and pick a cute outfit before I head to the conference. Unfortunately I snoozed my alarm so I woke up at 9am. I got instructed to spend 5 mins lightly tapping my clit since I was on no touch and somehow still managed to have a ruin yesterday. I got caught up scroll tumblr for another 20 mins before I got up to dress for the day. The registration for the event was 9:30-10 and the place was a 25-30 min drive. I was already late at this point so decided to skip breakfast and just have a Milo (can of chocolate milk) on the way since I was taking a taxi.
I got to the venue still a little horny but mostly present at around 10:15. I networked and mingled before the talks started. When the talks started it was pretty complex for my brain to understand. I felt quite dumb which made me even more hornier so mostly I daydreamed about the guy sitting next to me or sometimes even my eyes wondered to the male speakers bulge. Fast forward a bit and I felt like I had to use the bathroom and my eyes were watering so I slipped into the bathroom but both stalls were busy so I just made sure my mascara wasn’t running and washed my hands trying to trick myself that I went to the bathroom. I got offered a chocolate cake pop and really enjoyed it! Especially since that was the first food I had that day.
Lunch was delayed an hour because a few speakers talked too much! By 1:30pm my tummy is rumbling since I skipped breakfast. They released us to eat so I went to grab the pre-made lunch box. I open it and there are 4 different items: a small portion of garlic pasta, soya sauce grilled chicken, roasted vegetables and a pastry. With my numerous allergies I only had the small portion of pasta with a glass of water.
I again mingled and talked to people during the lunch break. I went to one of the workshops but since I didn’t have my laptop and the app wasn’t working on my phone I decided to leave by around 3:15pm instead of staying till 5:30/5:45. I felt a twinge in my bladder asking me to go before I left but I ignored it.
I found a taxi relatively quick but he got lost and kept going round and round in circles. I decided to grab a croissant at the cafe next door and thought about a hot chocolate too but decided not to test my bladder. After waiting another 10 mins I cancelled and rebooked to find another taxi, within a few minutes the new taxi had arrived but he told me there was traffic! It took almost 35 minutes to get home. Plus the driver kept starting and stopping the car so it was very jerky, the movement was rubbing against my cunt nicely and putting a lil effort erasure on my bladder too.
When I finally got home at a little past 4pm I decided to spin a wheel to decide if I can use the bathroom or have to wait, luckily it said yes I can use the bathroom but I’m still pretending my stomach is full and will not feed it any food till 7pm at the earliest.

Online Registration Software - Clearevent
What is the meaning of event registration?
Event registration refers to the process by which individuals or groups sign up or enroll to attend an event. This process typically involves providing personal information, such as name, contact details, and sometimes additional details like preferences, ticket selections, or payment information, depending on the type of event.
Tumblr media
Key Components of Event Registration:
Information Collection: Gathering essential details from participants, such as name, email, and contact number. Additional fields could include dietary preferences, organization affiliation, or special requests.
Ticketing/Payment (if applicable): For paid events, the registration process often includes selecting a ticket type (e.g., VIP, general admission) and making a payment.
Confirmation: After completing registration, attendees usually receive a confirmation message or email, which may include event details like location, time, and ticket information.
Check-in: Many events use registration to manage attendance, allowing organizers to track participants and streamline event check-ins.
Purpose of Event Registration:
Attendee Management: Organizers can keep track of who will be attending, and plan logistics such as seating, catering, or materials based on the number of registrants.
Communication: Event registration allows organizers to send updates, reminders, and important details to attendees before the event.
Revenue Collection (for paid events): Registration systems are often linked to payment gateways, ensuring attendees pay in advance.
Security and Planning: It helps ensure that the event runs smoothly by having an accurate count of participants, allowing for appropriate space, security, and staff allocation.
Event registration is a key part of organizing events like conferences, webinars, workshops, concerts, or even social gatherings like weddings or parties.

Tips for Landing Your First Entry-Level Developer Job | Resources ✨
Tumblr media
I saw a tweet by @reactive_dude on Twitter where he talked about tips for junior developers landing their first jobs and I thought I would share them here as well, it might help someone. I think these are handy, especially the projects and open-source tips. I also read through the comments and added some of the tips from there to the list. Enjoy!
Tumblr media
Have an active LinkedIn account
Add as many recruiters to your LinkedIn network as you can
To add recruiters on LinkedIn: introduce yourself in 1-2 sentences, and say you're open for entry-level jobs, there is no need to overthink this step
Most recruiters will accept your network request even without reading your message
Build 1-2 strong projects where you use/build CRUD APIs - For example a real-time chat app, an app with auth where you can log in and manage recipes/notes/tasks/whatever...
If you're a front-end dev, there are a lot of free APIs available, you can make use of these and build client apps
Make it easy to check your projects and code
This means open source on GitHub and one-click access to your project (without a complicated login/registration process)
Make a huge effort to make your resume as polished and professional as possible.
Build a portfolio website
Apply to as many jobs as possible, as soon as they're listed
Don't feel bad about rejections or if you're not getting any responses
Contribute to open source/build your own projects in public daily
More than building CRUD projects, you should show off your contribution to open-source. Whether it's a small package or a utility website for a framework that they use - stuff like that stands out more than another Student Management System.
Don't shoot too high, apply with local companies
Fully remote international companies usually hire only experience developers
Network with developers who can help you get hired in their company
If possible, attend local meetups/conferences/events to network with other devs
Share your progress and projects online!

New announcement from pretty busy! I’ll post some of the pictures here and a quick summery, if you are too lazy to read
This is the link to their official website
The new contents:
- chapter 5 will come out, and they hope to release a new chapter once every three months (next update)
- a new mini game (catch minhyeok’s boxer’s) will be added, where you can earn greater and lesser keys, as well as other materials. If you are lucky, you can also earn Solomon seals (next update)
- new daily chats with the devils, they hope to release new ones every two months !(will be added in February)!
- a friend system will be added, you can earn some additional items, maybe action power and that pretzel? !(will be added in March)!
- the realms of the seraphim (yes, we will fight against the seraphims) ; it’s similar to the nightmare dungeon, but you get the rewards immediately !(will be added in March)!
- a birthday system, your birthday will finally be celebrated !(will be added in April)!
- ‘lobby icon’ you can decorate your lobby with stickers too !(will be added in May)!
- new stickers of ppyong, I think chat stickers, could be merch too (once the registration is complete)
- new pricing, now you can choose which character you want if you hit pity !(will be added in February)!
- you can earn up to 500 Solomon seals a month through achievements and attendance !(will be added in February)!
- the pancake shop will be changed, S and L characters tea leaves will now give you nightmare pancakes, which you can trade for monthly L characters and artefacts, stickers, icon designs etc, other characters’ tea leaves will give you gold and tomes !(will be added in March)!
- they will make the battle pass a little cheaper !(will be added in March)!
- adjust the staging time of ultimates !(will be added in February)!
- event illustrations will be added to the gallery !(will be added in March)!
- boss skill window; you can read the skills of the boss beforehand !(will be added in March)!
- they will try to make faster announcements, something they weren’t able to do before bc of the nsfw side. App Store or Google play can just reject the update, with the reasoning that it was too sexual. That’s why they couldn’t name a specific date, since they don’t know if they will pass or not.
