A Strange Sky

That's what I thought looking out my window one evening at Residence. That the gray sky had an odd quality about it. And so I started taking pictures. :)

All photos mine, edited for graininess but not colour.

And lo and behold, I was right! It was no ordinary gray sky. I've seen a lot of rusty, pink, and purple skies, but I've never before or since seen a sky change like this in quite that way.

Evening Clouds - June 2024 Sometimes what you get as an image isn’t what you wanted, but it is still very good. We stayed at Indian Pass Campground in Port Saint Joe, Florida, for several days. I tried repeatedly to get either a sunrise or sunset over the water image. Every day, clouds prevented that. But this image of clouds over the water at sunset is still a great image. MWM
