Alright yall I’ve touched grass. Therory time.
I’m going to start with what we learned today from Fit, before talking about everything strange that happened.
1. Fit remembers his past from before the island in clarity. He remembers the life he had and the reason that he came to the island. The vacation was a ruse.
2. Fit is working for someone. He is being paid for his work and has signed a contract of some sort.
3. Ramon is Fit’s priority right now, no matter what.
4. the conflict on the island is increasing the value of something
5. The federation and the anti-cheat that they have on the island is blocking Fit’s acsess to whatever he came to the island for, as well as any abilities he has.
Now, I’ve seen a lot of people speculating that whatever or whomever Fit is working for is behind the code entities. Here’s why I don’t think that’s the case.
First and foremost, it appears that they want something that the island has. The code’s expressed and clear purpose is to get everyone away from the island and back to whatever life they came from. The code is doing this by sending out messages in whatever way it can and killing the eggs. On top of this, the code seems at least somewhat aware of the federation because they’ve hacked their broadcasts.
Fit’s orignization, on the other hand, was not aware of the federation. He’s informing them of the federation’s existence and what they’ve been doing. He talks about the anti-cheat, how they’re keeping everyone trapped, ect. If the group that is paying Fit knew about this beforehand or currently, why would he need to inform them?
The priority of Fit’s orginzation seems to be a physical thing that has value. For some reason, Fit needs acsess to cheats in order for him to acsess whatever this thing is. They’re also paying him enough to clearly do something that is going against his morals, I mean, the whole stream he was procrastinating reaching out. I wouldn’t be surprised if Fit was worried this connection and his mission put Ramon in danger.
Now, onto therorizing. I fully believe that the Federation and the code are, at least currently, tied only to the island. However, there is something on the island that would hold a lot of value to someone in a place like 2B2T. I would not be surprised if one of both entities know of this value, but both have diffrent goals with using whatever it is.
The federation may be using it to experiement on people. We’ve seen the federation do insane things - bring the dead back to visit loved ones, erase memories, change the weather and time of day. The code has also shown these abilities.
Imagine how useful something with that sort of power would be to those on an anarchy sever?
On top of that, there’s been a lot of therories about this being some sort of show. It’s being broadcasted live and being seen by hundreds of thousand. The conflict with the codes and the federation and the eggs, the members, all of that could easily raise the value on whatever this thing is. We’ve seen it used here - come look at this in our server too!
Fit is still a human though. He’s being paid, and he’ll do a good job, but we can feel his humanity seep through in his message. Ramon is his first priority, he’s saddened by the others loosing their eggs, he’s grown attached to his friends. Fit has a job to do, but he is clearly stubborn with putting his own priorities first. He is helping the others, even if it is partially motivated by his contract. He’s asking them to think of the cost to other people.
I have no doubt Fit will continue his mission, but I think he will let his humanity affect it.
I don’t know quite what’s up with the book or the strange messages but I think Fit is a bit too casual about those ‘intrusive thoughts’ for me to accept that they’re not tied to whomever he’s working with.
Closing thoughts: I believe we are aware of four diffrent orginizations now.
The Federation: They are behind brining all the current players to the island as well as the eggs. They are experimenting on the island members in some shape or form and want to keep people happy so they don’t try and leave. They attempt to limit outside influence on the islanders.
The codes: Assumedly on the island before the federation, they don’t want people on the island aside from themselves and will do anything to reach that goal. They don’t desire casualities but they see no other choice at this point.
???: A group against the Federation that heard Max’s signal and gave him the skematic for SOFIA. Possibly working with the codes.
Fit’s orginization: An outside group interested in something that the island has. Hired Fit to retrieve that something unaware of the Federation or the Code. Having trouble/unable to get messages through thanks to the federation firewall.
Now the real question is... how did Bad bypass the fedderation firewall to call Skeppy?? lmao

Tumblr media
But this time its my 43 hour I like every song I come across playist^^ Also I am making that up as I go, so I have no idea if the songs will connect.
1: Cannibal - Kesha, so female!
2: Record Player - Daisy the great. (Has brown hair she tried to colour blue, turned out seasick green. So, she loves vintage dresses from thrift stores and has boots? (Long hair ig)
3: My hero academia - peace sign /season two opening. (So when I listened to the song the cover was mostly red, black and a dash of yellow! So red dresses with black accents (and make up) and orange boots!! Because I have no idea what the song is saying and I am too lazy to translate the lyrics at the moment-- he...he... he.)
4: Little girl gone - Chinchilla (She had a really troubled past so she joined a gang and became this bad ass fighter!)
5: Elastic Heart - Sia (She has no travel picking herself up. It doesn't matter what happens. Her heart is bendable and doesn't break, she can be cold and she has trouble trusting people. She has a very strong moral code and while her joining a gang might be counter productive, she fights for what she believes is right.)
6: Servant of Evil (english cover) - lizz robinett (I am sorry, but I have trouble making this romantic, but here is what I have so far! She is very loyal to the person she loves and is willing to sacrifice herself for them, it doesn't matter what they ask of her. Once she is in love its forever.)
7: Zydrate Anatomy - Paris Hilton (Murder, kidnapping, being useless, surgery??)
8: MEAN! - Madeline The Person (Her family thinks of her as a waste of space and she never wants to be like them. Her family is really mean to hear and they are lying. They treat her bad and use her as a scapegoat for all of their problems
9: The kageguri rap (She is more sick when people think. I guess you could say should she ever do what her thoughts are telling her the world would be burning. She likes gambles and her thoughts have diffrent personalities ig)
10: Other friends - Steven universe (WAAAAA WHY IS ALL OF THIS SOOOO CONFUSING??? So she was replaced and thrown away and she had to watch the people she liked get along with the people that hurt her the most, even leaving her behind. And know she has to deal with them being celebrated as heros and even being forgotten!)
11: I don't like myself- Imagine Dragons (because of her family she was seriously depressed early in life. She wanted to love herself but she couldn't, she became insecure and kinda clingy. People spread rumours about her and after some time she started to believe them?)
12: The ghost - NIVIRO (Girl can't catch a break-Up her lover has a hunter prey kin-I AM JOKING!!! So her love is kinda obsessed with her and is chasing her around? She tends to be in multiple places at once and finds everyone no matter where they are)
Soo, what should her name be??

Just Like Old Times| Rex
I should probably start putting like "rex x reader' so ya'll know what your reading lmao
Tumblr media
"General! General Y/n!"
Y/n stopped in her tracks, turning her head, the sun almost gone on Coursaunt, Rex stood in the light, the doors to the Jedi Temple behind him, while the Shadow from the temple incased her and the stairs behind her.
Rex stood there, panting heavily, the news of General Y/n L/n leaving the Jedi order spread worse than wild fire and a plauge. It had gotten to the barracks within seconds of being said.
Rex had just caught her in time as she was leaving.
He had grown attached, he had grown to love Y/n , and she knew that. She knew the feelings Rex harbored for her and she harbored them as well.
They're relationship kept a secret, for a long time, and still was.
"General you don't have to leave!" Rex argued, "Please- I-"
Turning herself around fully she walked towards him, standing at the edge of the Shadow.
"Why- Tell me why!" Rex begged walking forward meeting her half way.
"Rex..." Y/n spoke reaching a hand out, carassing his cheek, " my moral code is so much more diffrent than the jedi code..."
"So that's why your leaving?" He asked, tears struggling not to fall out his eyes.
"Its wrong. The way everything is treated. Is going...its not human." Y/n responded, "nothing about the Jedi council is human."
"Then leave the council. But stay. With me." He responded hand holding her hand which carassed her cheek.
"Rex. We believe in two diffrent things." Y/n spoke with a solemn smile, "You in honor, and loyalty."
"And what? You don't believe in them?" Rex asked, "you don't believe in me?"
"I'll always believe in you." She responded rubbing his cheek with a thumb, "truth be told your the only bit of hope I have left...and- because I need to leave- I don't want to leave. But I have to...and that means...I have to leave you."
"Please. Not another one..." Rex begged, "not you...out of all people not you!"
She pulled away from him, he still gripping her hand but she pulled from it softly.
"Its just my time." Y/n spoke, "but remember. Just because Im gone. Doesnt mean Im not with you. There is always hope if you believe in that."
Rex watched her walk away, another one he loved so dearly.
Gone.
This one was diffrent. His lover gone- the one keeping him grounded for so long.
Rex somehow pushed through it. He didnt understand how but he did- and with Ashoka's return a while after he found himself looking over a little sister again.
Rex did share his pain with her, telling Ashoka of where his lover had gone and that she wasnt coming back. It was only the calm before the storm as order 66 was excuted. The two luckily escaping together by the tip of there noses.
It was finally they had to go there own ways. Rex had made his way around, running into some old friends, clone force 99, wolfee and Gregor. Maybe not all at the same time, but was happy to know that there was hope out there, meanwhile he never did forget about Y/n. He figured thats where the hope came from, the idea she was still out there. Even as he aged he contuied to remember her. Sure old with a gray beard and all.
He never knew you'd show up once more.
"Master- I can call you Master Y/n? Right?" Ezra asked as Y/n chuckled.
"Yes young one. Y/n will suffice though." Y/n smiled, even though she wasnt a Jedi, she'd atleast let him have idea of what it was like to be a Padawan.
"So. Master Y/n," Ezra spoke as Y/n sighed, this young boy was relentless, "You seemed to know Ashoka before hand did you?"
"I did." Y/n responded taking a seat across from Ezra on the Phantom, "Very well. But...I left the Jedi order."
"Why?" Ezra inquired.
"During the Clone wars, many clones were killed. They were discarded like trash. It started on Umbara. My master had sent both forces of clones against each other. The clones were like family. But they turned on the Jedi in the end," Y/n told, "I left before the order was excuted. I had left because my morals over threw my Jedi judgement. The jedi council did some bad things to some good people, and the clones were forced to excute things such as Order 66 and 37."
"Order 37?" Ezra asked.
Y/n nodded, "It was a day I knew what I was part of wasn't me. And that I'd never stand with the Republic again, thats all I wish to say about it."
Ezra frowned as Y/n crossed her arms, as the ship landed. The others getting out as Y/n rubbed her temple.
"He means no harm." Kanan told.
"I know." Y/n spoke, "i havent heard the word Master since talking to the masters at the high council."
Kanan put a hand on her shoulder as she nodded, him leaving the small ship as Y/n sat in her thoughts. She had been through a lot. Met the Bad Batch along the way, blew up one of Maul's spice ships.
She'd have to apologize for that one day-
Fought Maul, and a new character named Vader, just to realize, Vader was indeed an old friend Anakin. That devastated her even morez but somehow she was alive- maybe not well- but alive.
"They're clones!"
Y/n's entire body went into immediate action, rushing out of the phantom and pushing the boys aside as she looked up at the walker.
"General Y/n!?" Wolfee asked.
"Its General Y/n! Would you look at that!" Gregor laughed, "I knew you were still kicking! Rex! It's General Y/n!"
Y/n was frozen as she stared up at him, he had aged- but that was Rex alright.
"Well...General... it is a surpise..."
"Commander." Y/n responded smiling up at him, "you look like absolute shit."
He chuckled rubbing the back of his neck, "I guess I do don't I. Look at you!"
Y/n responded back with her own chuckle, "I suppose it just like old times huh?"
"I suppose it is."

Fiend Sims (Work in Progress)
Fiend Sims
Fiend Sims came from Scourge Planes and Shadow Planes. Fiend Sims can be created though a ritral of turing a ghost sim into a Fiend Sim or can be made hrough a process similar to baking, mixing together ingredients to form them. The fiend recipes from a large green cookbook labeled Fiend Recipes. The base ingredient is a colorless powder, or liquid, called "Fiend Mix" and spiders. Adding any ingredient that doesn't fit can make the fiend come out entirely wrong. (This Fiend Making is base off of Making Fiends by Amy Winfrey).
They appear to red-skinned, green-skinned, or tan-skinned with Fiendish horns or without Horns, They had a muscular or skinny human upper body while its lower body resembled that of a hoofed animal or dog like legs and feet standing upright. It also had a short tail or long tail and black fuffy fur.
Their are diffrent types of friends it depands of which one they are though fiend making or if they there born fron depths of the Scourge Planes or the Shadow Planes. They can be made or Summoned to become servants of the individual Sim though Friend Magic or if a Sim is a evil spellcaster called a Warlock.
When a Fiend Sims dies the Grim Reaper will take them to thier own afterlife aka purgatory and can't not be summoned again. The Purgatory Netherworld takes a form of a offce building which a friend will work there for all internity for Grim's sake.
They can also take human form to hide the fiendish form and can also shapeshift into objects like picture frames and rugs or very small animals like mouses and crows
Making a Deal with a Fiend
A Human Sim or A Spellcaster Sim "Ask For Fiendish Help", This sets up a contract, allowing human sim or spellcaster to choose the spells they want used on them. They make deals with a fiend like bring world peace or become famous  or have a girlfriend with easy woohoo fun. But their will be a time limit for when you can give a payment. If you don't pay for your contract for their spell or deal with the fiend within 7 days, you will receive a nasty curse and will become a lost soul or worst become a fiend yourself and be evil.
What do Fiends Eat
Fiends mostly eat clams of the coastal line beaches of Grimsville. They also mostly feed off of Haday Larvae meaning Fiends are 20% Mesocarnivores, Fiend whose diet consists of 30% meat with the balance consisting of non-vertebrate foods which may include insects, fungi, fruits, other plant material but their diet consists actaraly being 50% Insectivores they eat a many bugs native to the Grimsville or Outside of Grimsville that they call Grubs. Depending on type, they may bear hard shells, wings, or pincers. Some grubs are distinguished by spots or stripes, or even color. Caterpillars, Wireworm, Beetles, Palm Grubs and Grasshoppers are there favorite food type. They can cook an excellent Insect Cuisine out of them but Human Sim might find a little to creepy to eat.
Dark Magic
These are the Fiends supernatural powers or Any type of magic that is mainly used to cause harm to, exert control over, or even kill the victim for evil and selfish purposes but those Spellcaster or Other Fiends who have this power are not necessarily for "evil" but only to use it for mischief or just to have fun with dominos of human sim misery. Mostly Sims who are half Fiend are call "Their Heirs".
Fiend Breed Traits
Changelingaus Fiends/Imposteraus Fiends - They are a type of Friend that are tricksters who can change form to look like anyone and tap into their memories in order to manipulate Sims. They are capable of manipulating spirits and Seance tables to trick any spellcasters or sims with a medium skill.
Shadowaus Fiends -  A type of Fiend sims known for their shadowy forms and their ability to phase-shift. The power elemental Form to turn thier body into a mass of shadows. A Shadow Demon's shadowy form grants them several additional abilities. They also take physical Fiend form if they want to seen by their summoner or creators. They areserved as a messenger first between Grim Netherworld Fields and The Mortal World.
Pyrovaus Fiends - Pyrovaus Fiend sims have the power to create, control and manipulate fire and when they to woohoo with a human sim they will give hybrid know as Pyromaniac Sims. Pyrovaus Fiends are Immmune to fire and have happy moodelt of seeing sim's misery when they be caught on fire. This form allows a fiend to turn into a Elemental Form of Fire
Electrovaus Fiends - Electrovaus Fiend sims have the power to create, control and manipulate electricitys to attack Human Sims with a lighting struck or with Electric Balls. Their Elemental Form being composed of pure electricity. It moves through electrical outlets and devices to surprise and attack its victims. Those who touch the fiend sim will be electrocuted.
Cryovaus Fiends - These Fiends have the power to create and manipulate ice and decrease temperatures. This Elemental Form allows a fiend to turn into a body of frost, allowing them to fill up a room and lower the temperature.
Widowaus Fiends - Female only Fiend sims that drain their victim's life force through a woohoo or romantic congress.
Vampiraus Drinkeraus Fiends - A type of Friend sims that drinks the plasma and life force of Vampires after a Fiend defeats a vampire during a duel. They are ememies to the vampire sims.
Fiend Half-Breeds - The human Sim their fiend parent union created a massive concentration of power. Even as a Infant, the child displayed incredible power, being able to vanquish a spellcaster or a Fiend believed to be indestructible using an advanced version of Spellslinging though dark magic.
Angels (Opposite Of A Fiend)
Angels are powerful beings of good or neutral power. Good Angels have a positive role in many mortal religions and cultures. Some Angels match their traditional image, wearing white robes and a golden halo. They live at the Upper Planes of the Holy Netherworld Meadows. The fiends are easily defeated by them and are sent back into the Scourge Planes and Shadow Planes where they belong.
New Spellcaster Type
Warlocks - Warlocks are a breed of evil magical beings descended from other spellcaster who have the evil trait, who gained their powers from the Scourge Planes. Most Warlocks are driven by the desire to kill and obtain the powers from other good spellcasters. Warlocks can also possess limited shapeshifting abilities and making fiend skill.
Sims Religions
Worship of the Watcher
The Jacoban: A branch believes the Watcher to be an angry, vengeful god and claims that Sims must live by strict moral code to avoid punishment. Getting Sims to submit to this code and fear punishment by the Watcher enough to want to be absolved is the main goal of Jacoban priests. Jacoban clothing and buildings are grand, especially their cathedrals.
The Peteran: A branch believe the Watcher to be a compassionate and loving god who wants Sims to have happiness. The faith is rather informal; priests often use humor in scheduled sermons and tend to engage in impromptu public sermons and evangelizing. Peterans are cerebral and seem to practice a form of mysticism, often praying for answers and writing down religious texts and tracts. Peteran buildings and clothes are visually more humble than Jacoban, with simple robes and monasteries.
The Jeffrean: God’s eye is oft turned half away, questioning but immobile. A sim’s path is theirs to trace, and the Watcher will only watch. (Named after TwoJeffs, the creator of ACR, because autonomy.)
The Gurusan: All sims are but vessels of god’s thoughts and actions. The watcher lives within all of us
Agnostics: Agnostics are adherents of Agnosticism, the view that the existence of deities is unknown, unknowable, unproven, or unprovable. Agnostics don't disbelieve but merely feel that there's not enough evidence to support either the existence or inexistence of deities.
Grimful Faith
Faith of the Grim: belief that Death is a driving and influent force in the lives of all sims - beyond its simple inevitability. The Grim is at times a force to be feared, and at others a fate you’ll great like an old friend.
Cult of the Undeath: according to whom the Grim can be joined in its state of unlife, and sims of certain afflictions (vampires, zombies) have attained a superior way of being.
The Treaders: This faith unites alien believers and incognito aliens, vampire worshipers and vampires themselves. Mermaids and Spellcasters.
Hollow Sang: The vampire sims ingest small amounts of Plasma, human or otherwise, in order to obtain the energy that they believe is held within the Plasma.
Vrexatanic: The Order Of Black Darkness, Deity Shadows and Fire Wanders. The Religion mostly worship by evil spellcasters, warlocks and fiends.
New Afterlife Worlds
The Holy Netherworld Meadows (Haven) and The Grim Netherworld Fields (Hell) is an idea I made that is an afterlife where ghost sims live in the afterlife. Good Sims who worship the Watcher go to The Holy Netherworld Meadows while the Bad and Evil Sims go to the The Grim Netherworld Fields. Cowplant Fallowers go to an afterlife known as Eternal Green near Holy Netherworld Meadows. The Treaders go to aonther regin occult afterlife paradise near the The Grim Netherworld Fields known as Daenee. The Non-Believers go to a Logicial world known as Prime Realm near the Holy Netherworld Meadows. Fiends sims go to a fiery version world near Grim Netherworld Fields called the The Scourge Planes and Shadow Fiends go to the place call the Shadow Planes. Angel Sims go the the Upper Planes of The Holy Netherworld Meadows.
New Mortal World
Grimsville
Used to be ounce the coastal town of Sunbeam and thriving tourist destination, has now become a grim, forbidding place fill with Fiends and Warlocks.
Theme Style
Grimsville's Theme Style is base on the New Orleans distinct music, Creole cuisine, unique dialect, and its annual celebrations and festivals, most notably Mardi Gras. The historic heart of the city is the French Quarter, known for its French and Spanish Creole architecture and vibrant nightlife along Bourbon Street. Additionally, New Orleans has increasingly been known as "Hollywood South" due to its prominent role in the film industry and in pop culture. @sp-creates Let me know of what you think about my idea?

Could you write Nines deviating because he has to bring in android!Gavin when he finds out Gavin is deviant? Nines wants to protect deviant Gavin at all cost.
When Nines had been brought into the DPD he had been assigned a partner straight away, given his nickname as a short hand, being sent on many complicated calls and hunts for criminals across the city. But even the department has quiet days and on those days, when the filing work and menial tasks were finished, the RK found himself at the charging station along with all the other androids.
He would take stock of the diffrent ones, the dates of release, model types as well as the wear and tear from the jobs they did. Most of the time they were quickly replaced, sometimes repaired if it was minor enough, but for the most part they were all well polished machines doing their duty to the letter. However one always seem to stand out to Nines. A older GV model with more visible wear than the others to the point of scars that his synthskin couldn’t cover, even less friendly looking than the other police androids.
It was strange such an old model was still here, more so how odd he looked. The RK could only chalk it up to being a custom android, though he couldn’t see why they would make one like that and took to inspecting him more.
He watched as the GV worked, obedient but seemingly with an attitude which set red flags for the deviant hunter. He had have to wait until he was dismissed for the day before he could get to him however, needing to bring the grumpy android out of stasis. It wouldn’t bother him if it was a newer android, but older models needed stasis for calibrating and what not. Upon awaking the GV met him with a confused tilt of the head.
“GV200. I have noticed you have an diffrent design than other androids, explain.” He could scan, but due to on and off work with another detective and learning personal information, Nines had been asked not to go prodding into the androids files for privacy reasons.
“Custom. Was originally made for a particularly unruly detective until he got transferred. The department kept me though, called me Gavin.” The GV seemed to be telling the truth, and it added up for Nines to believe it.
“And that explains your attitude?”
The GV smiled a bit, nodding, and the RK wondered what kind of programming he had. “Yes. To match my partner.”
Nines stared him down a moment longer before marching off to his own station again. It made sense but something still seemed off about the android. Even after weeks of watching the GV he hadn’t a clue what it was, though it was a high probability that it was just custom programming, after all it wasn’t something he was coded to deal with. They were fairly rare after all.
After a particularly harsh call that saw Gavin having more repairs than Nines saw normal androids get, the RK made it a habit of checking on Gavin nightly now, checking his systems to make sure they were running right. The odd little android was a touch abrasive but there were those in the department that seemed to enjoy him around so he thought it best to help for morals sake, and for the sake of efficiency seeing as they were not willing to let him go.
“Gavin. Have you finished your system scans?” It was early in the morning but he was sure the GV had enough time.
Gavin, for the most part, had became used to the larger android’s poking and prodding. Even if Nines saw his led go yellow most of the time. “An hour ago. Everything fine.”
It went on for some weeks before the pattern broke, Nines bring dropped off late after a longer case only to find Gavin missing. It was odd to the RK as he was always there at the same time and he wasn’t called out on anything. The fact rang a instability though his systems, knowing full well that the GV shouldn’t be anywhere else. Immediately he set off to hunt the android down.
There wasn’t many people around, mostly janitors and the cops on night shift were all out patrolling at the moment so it made for an easy search. He moved quickly though all the rooms until his hunt lead him out the backdoor, quietly closing the doors behind him as he didn’t want to alert anyone. His led was red when he found the android.
Crouched behind the station Gavin was making a noise, reaching his hand out for something the RK couldn’t see. As he got closer he found it was a cat, watching as the GV managed to get a hold of it and hold the feline close to his chest, happily petting the cat.
Nines protocols kicked in, programming recognizing undeniable deviant behavior and demanding that the android be taken in back to Cyberlife. He had every intention of following his programming despite the instability warnings up and until Gavin heard his marching over, freezing when the android shot back up into a standing position with a horrified look on his face.
“Sh- This isn’t what it looks like I swear…!“ His own led was just as red as Nines, and despite his words the RK could see the android was far from a calm, unfeeling bot.
“You left your station to find a cat.” Not a question, a firm statement that had the GV shifting from foot to foot as he started to babble excuses.
But the RK didn’t hear any of them, his processors running full force with what he was seeing. The smaller android was still holding the cat, clearly caring for it’s safety and comfort, empathy an android shouldn’t have. He knew he had to bring this android in but… he found himself unable to move to do it. Gavin was good at what he did, funny and a weird way, determined to the point of being better than one would expect. He didn’t want to bring in Gavin.
He wanted to keep him around.
This want, a feeling he shouldn’t have, fought against it’s own restrains. Fighting his way out of a scarlet box of coding until it couldn’t hold him any longer, till it couldn’t force him to do anything to this android. He couldn’t bring him in, he couldn’t lose Gavin. He knows both of them are going to be in trouble if they are found out, and he just couldn’t let that happen.
Nines finally closed the distance, halting Gavin’s rambling with both hands on his cheeks. What fear the RK found in his eyes disappeared when he was able to get a interface, surprise taking it’s place.
“It’s alright, Gavin. I’m not going to hurt you, but you are going to need to calm down.” At the nod he gives Nines, the RK smiles. “Good. Just follow my lead. I won’t let anything happen to you, even if I have to take you away myself.”
First order of business, wiping the camera recordings. He wasn’t going to risk this android for the world.

bad writing is the simple and obvious answer, but it’s a theory time so let’s go
When it comes to some struggles people only act smart after it happens and when they face the same problem again they resort to their old ways they already told themselfs they wouldn’t ever again. This applies to Saihara’s struggle with revealing the truth and generally calling people out, after his sense of responsibility forces him to do it he believes that from now on he’s stronger, but actually the next time he struggles all the same.
The implied neglect on his parents side makes it even harder to confront people he cares about, because he’s lonely and makes himself immediately dependant on people who show him care, of course it creates bias that affects his logic and moral code, it’s so easy for such a person to become desperate not to lose the attention they have been given.
Second trial is diffrent then fourth though and the reason is something you pointed out yourself - everybody else is caught up and Saihara recognizes that he has to do something because nobody else will, but during fourth trial it must feel unfair, why does he have to be the only one arguing against Kaito, why their frienship has to take damage, other people aren't as close to Momota why won't they argue? And if he has to then why Maki won't? Will anyone even take his side against Kaito who is definitely better than him in Saihara's eyes if he does stand his ground?
Saihara not only has no spine, he also has no sense of self worth, so I understand that he makes himself dependant and foils his own judgement for the sake of his feelings. I understand the Momota situation as much as I despise it.
What I don't understand is the first trial. He trusts Kaede, he trusts her with the secret, he trusts her with the plan. What Kaede preached to everyone is trust and cooperation. So they cooperate. Except she makes her plan behind his back. She didn't betray just him and not only on one level. First of all I'd take her making a diffrent plan as an insult to intelligence, as not trusting his plan after praising him so much. Then there's betrayal of the group as after what she told them she chooses to work alone. Only after that comes the commited a murder level, it wasn't something impulsive, she carried that ball with her for a while, it took time to prepare the book path and she had to go out of her way to do it. It doesn't matter that she missed, if she didn't drop the ball Tsumugi wouldn't have a person to frame so Akamatsu is guilty. Then comes that making Saihara re-live the trauma she knows about level which is the part I don't forgive her. There is nothing stopping her from confessing guilt herself after “finding the mastermind” plan fails, she doesn't have to make Saihara be the one to say it, but she's like "suffer for the character development, thot" as if that could work or he wasn't already suffering in that trial.
Is it not enough that he got accused of being the culprit? That he's losing friends? Why did she have to do it to him? Why did she put him under even bigger stress and responsibility by making him promise? Why his entire reaction was "Now I am sad, but I have to keep the promise"? That doesn't make sense to me, he should have more emotions about that, not just sad, perhaps a lot of that could be written down to being in shock but Idk.
Sometimes I think if Saihara had the guts to feel betrayed when his friends, well, betray him and instead of being sorry make him stand for their ideals they were not able to stand for themselfs he'd be more likeable, not sure if realistic applies too, but like, I would feel betrayed were I to take his place
Shuichi is so strange to me. He feels like 2-3 people in one body.
At times he adamantly believes that he must search for the truth no matter who the culprit is and no matter how painful it is, other times he's throughly convinced that he needs to blindly believe in people and that suspecting certain people –even if there is evidence– is wrong because Kaito told him so.
Notably, he only believes that he must find the truth when
The narrative needs to progress (EX: during trials where he can't get the wrong answer because the story/game isn't over yet or Chapter 1 where he needs to set up Kaede's plot for the story to progress)
It doesn't involve suspecting anyone he's actually close to (EX: he always vehemently denies to himself that Kaito could ever commit murder even if the evidence is pointing to Kaito and he doesn't have evidence to deny Kaito's plausible involvement)
It largely sounds like an inconsistency born from him being forced into the protagonist role. If he hadn't become the protagonist would he have been biased in all situations instead of just the convenient ones? It's something to think about.
Back on topic, I remember during Kirumi's trial everyone doesn't want to suspect Kirumi because she's their "mom" and has been taking care of everyone, and during that trial Shuichi has to force everyone to look at the facts instead of going by their emotions. He seemed pretty upset that people weren't listening to the truth he had found and stood his ground because he knew he was in the right for trying to listen to his head and not his heart in the dangerous situation they were all in.
However, when this scenario happens again in Chapter 4 Shuichi does a complete turn around and while he still forces himself to find the truth despite the others, he also seems to believe he was in the wrong for some reason? He didn't blame himself for finding the answer in Chapter 2 but he did in Chapter 4 and I can't tell if it's because Kaito's influence on Shuichi was stronger in the latter chapters or if Shuichi's writing and character were just that inconsistent.
Narratively, Shuichi couldn't blame Kaito for being biased for some reason and I'm suspecting it has something to do with the narrative's need to make Shuichi and the players glorify Kaito, but I'm not sure why it was so important to glorify him unless they wanted people to analyze the game and they put in some very obvious questionable moments to let us know that our protagonist and narrator is unreliable and that we have to find the truth for ourselves which is... if they were trying to do that then they failed, looking at the general views of the fandom's majority.
I don't really have much of an arguement for that being the case aside from the theme of Truth and Lies maybe extending to the story itself? Like how the cast believed that Gonta was manipulated twice but wasn't, or how Kokichi was evil and inconsiderate when he wasn't, etc. Maybe we're being challenged to find the truth for ourselves like in those cases and not rely on the cast or even Shuichi, who is flawed at points in the story? But this is just my crackhead conspiracy rather than an analysis I can back up.
I'm kind of stumped on why they would set the story up like this if my speculation is off (which it very well could be, I've always sucked at discerning Author's Purpose), but I know that Shuichi blaming himself and not the others seems to be important to whatever the writers were trying to do. It's... kind of unfortunate no matter what though. I was really upset when Shuichi didn't blame Kaito for acting like a toddler and backtracked on the mindset he had in Chapter 2 which seemed to be something like "facts over feelings so we don't fucking die" lol. Shuichi being written in this way makes him feel more like a doormat or a puppet of the narrative rather than an actual person, which in turn makes him more lackluster imo.
Anyway, if anyone has their own conspiracy theory I'm all ears. I can't quite make the puzzle pieces connect aside from connecting them with red string on a corkboard lmao
