I only post gifs here on tumblr dot com and if that was the case, why the morning after I posted my message in the reblog did the person not reply or address it and continued to post? and if they did actually took it from another thief, it is still stolen and credit erased. it's still up so if they're actually innocent and made a mistake, why is it still not taken down? but instead when confronted, continue to hide behind anon with rude responses? I bet you would tell a mugged person it was their fault for carrying a wallet

Hi, New People?

For some unfathomable reason, Tumblr has decided to suggest my blog to brand-new accounts to follow, so I've had a crazy influx of followers who, of the ones that are genuine accounts, probably have no idea what they've signed up for. (sorry.)

Oh, and I also have some new bittern-loving followers who have a slightly better idea but might not know the whole story!

Protective Obi-Wan anyone?

I was re-watching the Ryloth arc and I couldn't help but notice,

I love how Obi-Wan's arm immediately goes to block Cody, he extends his hand out and it's not in the form of a fist, it's flat, it's an attempt to block as much of Cody's chest as possible. Cody takes a full step back to, mainly to get into position to shoot. But he's preparing himself to move behind Obi-Wan, who'd need enough room to swing his lightsaber to block blaster shots.

Obi-Wan's first instinct is to protect Cody, his second is to ignite his lightsaber. Obi-Wan protects Cody before protecting himself and others. His lightsaber would give enough cover for all his men, but his body would only cover Cody's.

In the second frame, Obi-Wan puts his hand on Cody's gun first before turning off his lightsaber. Now, he does know what is about to come out of the grate before his men do, which is partially why he wants to stop Cody. Cody putting down his weapon would signal to his men that there is no danger, however, turning off his lightsaber would do the exact same thing. But he chooses to stop Cody first.

After Obi-Wan puts his hand on Cody's gun, notice how long he looks at Obi-Wan. Cody's guard is down, he doesn't keep his eye on the grate like his men do, he doesn't even try to keep his blaster aimed, also unlike his men. Cody doesn't break contact with Obi-Wan until he does, it's in that moment we understand how much Cody trusts Obi-Wan with his life.

Okay, well, foremost, my condolences on your evident confusion.

With that out of the way, two points regarding the content of this ask:

1. There IS some uncertainty about this, sometimes, but this blog is not actually here to be a prompt-generating resource for the wider fandom. This blog is a transformative fanwork and a challenge to myself. For a year I came up with a tf fic idea every day, and then I posted it.

The purpose of the blog is therefore not to create prompts for other people "to do for me," but a creative exercise that allows me to explore different fic ideas without requiring the time commitment of writing them all.

You can use the bad tf fic ideas to make fanworks in any medium if you want, but that's not, in fact, the reason they exist.

2. I've written over a hundred and fifty transformers fanfics. Whether or not people like them is a separate matter, but I reckon I'm good as far as the bizarre argument of "weh, weh, why don't you write your own ideas instead of sharing them publicly and therefore burdening others with them somehow," goes.
