Karya Ilustrator Indonesia Dipakai untuk Film Wanita Terseksi di Dunia

Los Angeles (SIB) -Karya ilustrator Indonesia dipakai untuk film yang dibintangi Scarlett Johansson. Ghost in the Shell, film besutan sutradara Rupert Sanders yang dibintangi wanita terseksi di dunia tersebut kini mencapai box office dunia. Ilustrator tersebut berasal dari Malang, Indonesia bernama Evan Raditya Pratomo. Pria berusia 27 tahun tersebut memulai kariernya sejak 2011 tapi tak terlalu berkembang. Sejak 2014, beralih ke aliran kontemporer dan pop surrealis Jepang. Mei 2016, ia mengunggah empat gambar - yakni Power, The Debris, Filled Her Lungs, A Kiss for Red Sun - ke Tumblr. Sehari dipublikasi,  Paramount Pictures menghubunginya dan mengatakan sedang mencari desainer yang cocok untuk membuat poster film terbaru, Ghost in the Shell. Nama Evan terjaring dari seluruh desainer di dunia, bersama dengan beberapa ilustrator lainnya yang berasal dari Taiwan, Singapura, Spanyol, Argentina, dan Amerika Serikat. Satu-satunya pemuda dari Indonesia itu dipilih karena dianggap memiliki gaya yang cocok dengan Ghost in the Shell. Itu film adaptasi dari komik Jepang. Gaya Evan: 'ke-Jepang-jepang-an.' Karyanya dinilai memiliki perpaduan budaya yang pas antara timur dan barat. "Mereka [Paramount] lihat karya saya cocok karena memiliki perpaduan timur dan barat dengan objek manusia yang berwajah barat, tapi warna dan finishing dari Jepang," kata Evan seperti diberitakan CNNIndonesia.com, Kamis (6/4). Evan kemudian diminta untuk terbang ke Wellington, Selandia Baru, lima hari setelah menerima surat elektronik itu. Jika tidak, proyek itu dianggap batal. Tak ayal, ia panik. Bagaimana tidak, Evan harus mengurus segala keperluan berangkat ke Selandia Baru sendiri, dalam waktu singkat pula. Belum urusan visa, yang biasanya butuh waktu dan rumit. Akan halnya akting Scarlett Johansson. Sebagai wanita terseksi di dunia menjadi daya tarik dalam film dengan ilustrator karya pemuda Indonesia. Gelar terseksi dua kali diraihnya dalam kurun waktu tujuh tahun. Pertama kali tahun 2006 dan 2016. "Saya satu-satunya wanita yang menyabet gelar ini untuk kedua kalinya, bukan? Ini sangat membanggakan mengingat umur saya, sebentar lagi mungkin peran yang tersedia untuk saya adalah peran ibu-ibu," ujar perempuan berumur 29 tahun itu. Gelar terseksi pun pernah diberikan pada Mila Kunis (2012), Rihanna (2011), Minka Kelly (2010), Kate Beckinsale (2009), Halle Berry (2008), Charlize Theron (2007) dan Jessica Biel (2005) tapi Scarlett Johansson mendapatkannya dua kali. SKY OF SUMMER NIGHTS

As a person who works in art and entrepreneurial design in education, I deeply understand the importance of setting the right mood and ambience to dive into the creative state of mind. "Sky of Summer Nights" has been my private playlist on Spotify sinceFebruary ‘23 because I was fascinated by the concept of Eternal Night - to put simply, I don't want it to end. As time passed by, I started to get a faint impression when I put in more songs to complete the playlist. Around May ’23, by then, I started to create an illustration work for this playlist, which was also a comeback moment from my long absence as an Illustration Designer. Sonically, this playlist has a mixed genre of alternative rock, retro-pop, hopebeat and indie tracks perfect for evening chill sessions with your friends and beloved ones or even a solo night of reflection. Some of my favorite tracks on the playlist include "No Choice" by Fly By Midnight, "10K Summer Nights" by Eighty Ninety, and "Beats Of A Heart" by Nightshift. "Sky of Summer Nights" isn't a name for this Spotify's public playlist, but an artwork I dedicate to those hopeful nights. I hope it can help create cherished or sweet memories for you as well ★. Love Fearlessly, Mughal-E-Azam

Illustration for Star Gold Select in collaboration with Dynamite Design from India. On Sunday December 17, 2017 at 1 pm the channel will premiere a magnum opus of Indian Cinema, Mughal-E-Azam, a film that continues to captivate and inspire even after 57 years of its theatrical release. They will give the viewers the choice to watch it in either color or black and white -like the original movie.

MY CLOUDNINE (僕のクラウド•9) Once, I used to ride a Paper Airplane and counted the cloud sheeps I let the ocean to Filled my Lungs and freed my Demons One day, the Red Sun didn't shine anymore and I lost a sight of those Koi Fishes But, in the Land of Cloud I see a bright and colorful sun I realized if the ocean is in my blood and the universe is in my vein In my Cloudnine I'm a burst of Stars and Wave ⭐️ 🌊

Evan Raditya Pratomo x Ghost In The Shell ▲ part 1

Several days ago, Paramount Pictures team allowed me to share one of two images I made for the upcoming @ghostintheshell movie to be released on the 31st of March, 2017.

May 2016 was the month when Paramount Pictures invited me to be involved in the “Ghost In The Shell” (GITS) project, and conjointly welcomed several other artists from different countries around the world to assemble together in Wellington, New Zealand. 

They wowed us with the chance they gave us to observe the shooting of some scenes, meet with the production team, take a look at GITS concept arts and props like Geisha’s head, guns, and vehicles. Finally, on the last day, they took us to Weta Workshop. 

--- GHOSTDIVE

Like the two ends of a magnet, so are Major and Batou from Section 9. They are the two main characters with the strongest bond in the GITS realm. In fact, there are several interesting reasons and outlooks on life from GITS perspective that impelled me to decide to coalesce the element of water into both of my pieces and name this opus “Ghostdive”.

The first doodle in my sketchbook while I was present at the filming location in Wellington, immediately became the idea behind this piece. One thing that crossed my mind at that point was, “I should make it like a cutting edge movie poster with the impression of being a manga cover.”

Please Be Mine (even if it's just for a second) I interpret the struggle between believing two souls that will never be together and denying that belief, believing that they will but in another place across space and time.
