MY CLOUDNINE (僕のクラウド•9) Once, I used to ride a Paper Airplane and counted the cloud sheeps I let the ocean to Filled my Lungs and freed my Demons One day, the Red Sun didn't shine anymore and I lost a sight of those Koi Fishes But, in the Land of Cloud I see a bright and colorful sun I realized if the ocean is in my blood and the universe is in my vein In my Cloudnine I'm a burst of Stars and Wave ⭐️ 🌊

Months ago, my friend told me about his story and this book. It such a blast and I'm blown away by his story through his mom's memoir, THE SPARK. I decided to make a tribute for Barnett family. I choose the scene of Jacob when he was writing math equations on the windows and it took several sketches, character, background and colour development. I used the noun "Spark" itself to incorporate elements of sparks and overall design. For final touch, I combined the geometric elements in this illustration to represent the applied sciences, physics and mathematics.

A KISS FOR RED SUN 🔴 

Around months ago, I had a lucid dream that inspired me to create this artwork. In the dream, I saw anastonishing-yet-surreal scenery of schooling koi fishes flying towards the Tokyo Tower and I realised I was gazing at them in awe. In my younger days, I was clueless why my Dad liked Koi fishes so much, but later I came to understand the reason behind. 🗼   🎏

CHILDREN’S DAY • こどもの日 I used bento (弁当, being a single-portion takeout or home-packed meal common in Japanese cuisine) as the reference for this fun project of the Children’s Day celebration in Japan, which takes place annually on May 5.  🍙  🍡  🍥  🍰  🍭

PHOTOSHOP'S 25TH ANNIVERSARY // BRAVE IT OUT

To celebrate Photoshop’s 25th Anniversary, Adobe approached and gave me the honour to be a part of their milestones. This campaign involved 25 visual artists and was entitled "Photoshop 25 Under 25".
