We have a record number of writers committed to bringing new stories to the Skam fandom and we need artists to collaborate. The Skam Big Bang matches artists with writers to create a piece of fanart inspired by the story. Artists read blind excerpts and match based on preferences and Skamverses. Art can take any form from hand or digital drawing or painting, gif sets, mood boards/aesthetics, photoshop edits, video edits, textile arts, music playlists. omg i picked up skam (og) again bcs i was bored and i’m really getting into it all over again jejdjdjdj btw which ver is ur favorite (s) and why ?

i feel like i can't say that one version of skam holistically is my favorite. it's more like it depends on what i'm valuing. most people's obsession with the og peaked with evak. like you really had to be there in 2016 watching each update drop bc it was all over tumblr. noorhelm was popular in its own right and then there were the iconic scenes of the girls walking to the party or willhelm and his gang walking into school that went viral during their season but i don't think most people actually liked willhelm and frankly neither did i (albeit og noora was adorable and i love her!). the sana season was frustrating but sana and youssef had insaaaane chemistry, so i still really cherish that along with the evak season

other than that, skam italia and wtfock do noorhelm best (esp italia. i could write essays on incantava. i have written essays lmao i was absolutely obsessed with every facet of their season) but i don't particularly care for any of their other seasons or content (albeit i do have a soft spot for sobbe in wtfock). druck is probably the best overall adaptation but i only really care for amira/mohammed and spiderwitz. skam espana does vilda/magnus best but with the rest of the ships i only enjoy the initial development before ultimately losing interest bc they insert weird plot twists. skam nl aesthetically is gorgeous and has one of the best depictions of the central girl group, but that's about it. i don't even register skam france. and skam austin is too weird to process in my head bc i live in texasgjdfhklgdfg

Amount of sleep: usually around 5-6 hours but I'm going to really try to get more this year and at the very least get more today cause I'm exhausted and work starts again tomorrow

Dream job: I simply do not dream of labour.. uhh yeh, I really don't know, but if I must probably something crafty where I work with other people to create things maybe for theatre or film.

Wearing: dark grey denim jacket with a lot of pins and patches (I just got it back from my friend who was embroidering the right sleeve for me) Lucy&Yak rainbow stripe trousers. A black and grey patterned hoodie I forgot I owned and haven't worn in abt 5 years and handmade knitted slippers. Oh and a big orange/black patterned scarf

Fav song: I don't think I have one absolute favourite song but to pick one that's always been high on the list since I was a kid; A Girl Called Johnny by The Waterboys

Aesthetic: very eclectic. Colourful/all the colours but much more warm tones and yellow accents/statemens these days. Plants and books and art. I have a sewing room rather than a sitting room (it does have a green futon in it tho) and basically if it makes me happy I'll incorporate it into my life. Big skirts and dungarees and miscellaneous jumpes & jackets...

Random fact: I've been learning Korean for a year and 2 days! And am hoping to be able to start doing in-person lessons later this year :)

GUYS! If you liked SKAM I have a great TV show for you. Its called ,,Mixte 1963" or ,,Voltaire high". Its got the same vibe like SKAM, but Its happening during the 60s in France. There's a lot of romance and it also discuss important stuff (feminism, lgbt rights,...). Give it a chance, I promise
