Jack Benny is "The Medicine Man" (1930) -- Or IS He?
And though it is Jack Benny’s birthday, and I am developing a longish piece about Benny’s movies, the precipitating cause of this post is that February 14 ALSO happens to be the birthday of Eva Novak (1898-1988) who is third-billed to Benny in his very early comedy The Medicine Man (1930). Novak’s career encompassed over 100 films though her true heyday as a star had been in the silent era. She…

Hitchcock's Blondes: The Unforgettable Women Behind the Legendary Director's Dark Obsession by Laurence Leamer #ARCReview #NetGalley #BookReview #HollywoodHistory
A new book travels familiar territory: #AlfredHitchcock obsession with blonde actresses. A closer look at #HitchcocksBlondes by #LaurenceLeamer #netgalley #arcreview #bookreview #gpputnam #moviehistory #gracekelly #ingridbergman #bargainsleuth
Alfred Hitchcock was fixated—not just on the dark, twisty stories that became his hallmark, but also by the blond actresses who starred in many of his iconic movies. The director of North by Northwest , Rear Window , and other classic films didn’t much care if they wore wigs, got their hair coloring out of a bottle, or were the rarest human specimen—a natural blonde—as long as they shone with a…

which streaming service has the most vintage movies? If you don't know, maybe your followers could answer? 🙏
Ooh hoo hoo you asked and I'll answer!!
I actually made a post like this for the hot men tournament, but I can't find it now so I'll do it again from scratch. The short answer is that I don't know of any one streaming service that has all the old vintage movies—but most streaming services have a "classics" genre category that can get you started. Here's a small selection of what you can find on different streaming services:
TUBI (free):
The Adventures of Robin Hood (Olivia de Havilland)
A Streetcar Named Desire (Vivien Leigh)
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Jane Powell, Julie Newmar)
North by Northwest (Eva Marie Saint)
The Music Man (Shirley Jones)
The Women (Norma Shearer, Rosalind Russell, Joan Crawford, Joan Fontaine, Paulette Goddard, several other hotties in small parts)
The Philadelphia Story (Katharine Hepburn, Ruth Hussey)
Notorious (Ingrid Bergman)
Bell, Book, and Candle (Kim Novak, Elsa Lanchester)
The Talk of the Town (Jean Arthur)
Dark Victory (Bette Davis)
Stray Dog (Keiko Awaji)
Some Like It Hot (Marilyn Monroe)
Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow (Sophia Loren)
Dirty Girtie From Harlem USA (Francine Everett)
Passport (Madhubala)
Dark Passage (Lauren Bacall)
Sepia Cinderella (Sheila Guyse)
On The Town (Ann Miller, Vera-Ellen, Betty Garrett)
The Bandwagon (Cyd Charisse)
Devar (Sharmila Tagore)
Reet-Petite and Gone (June Richmond)
The Postman Always Rings Twice (Lana Turner)
KANOPY (free through some libraries):
Dial M for Murder (Grace Kelly)
His Girl Friday (Rosalind Russell)
Ball of Fire (Barbara Stanwyck)
Black Orpheus (Marpessa Dawn)
Flower Drum Song (Reiko Sato, Nancy Kwan, Miyoshi Umeki)
Marriage Italian Style (Sophia Loren)
The Rose Tattoo (Anna Magnani)
Tokyo Story (Setsuko Hara)
War and Peace (Audrey Hepburn, Anita Ekberg)
Salt of the Earth (Rosaura Revueltas)
Metropolis (Brigitte Helm)
The Red Shoes (Moira Shearer)
HOOPLA (free through some libraries):
The Court Jester (Angela Lansbury, Glynis Johns)
Sunset Boulevard (Gloria Swanson)
A Place in the Sun (Elizabeth Taylor)
Barefoot in the Park (Jane Fonda)
The Barefoot Contessa (Ava Gardner)
Wings (Clara Bow)
YOUTUBE (has a lot of older movies that have slipped through copyright/are still up for some reason):
Charade (Audrey Hepburn)
Story Weather (Lena Horne)
Gilda (Rita Hayworth)
Rebecca (Joan Fontaine)
This entire playlist of Indian cinema that I just found (Madhubala, Waheeda Rehman, Nargis, Meena Kumari, etc.)
And that's just a small sample. There is also always your local library for physical DVDs, the Internet Archive, and....other methods.....if you know exactly what you're looking for.
I haven't seen all of these movies, so don't consider them personal recommendations—these are just famous movies with our hotties in them, so please be careful if you have content warnings. Good luck and have fun!
EDIT 5/16: Added a few more movies to the different sections, but this is still just a small selection of what the different streaming services have. Good luck!

Do you feel like Holger doesn’t have any friends? Because I feel like the only people he hangs out with are Aneke, Alma, and his team. Idk I feel kinda sad thinking about it 😭
Carlos has tons of non tennis friends, they go on vacation together etc. Jannik has Hubi, Jack, Anna, the italian guys.
I dont think l’ve heard another player say Holger is their friend. Would love to be corrected on this though
hi friend, I didn't see this idk why??? this is really funny because holger can have like 5 friends in the ATP tour but then he hangs out with the girls and it's way too funny. But now on a serious note, he has said he has some close friends back home and that his closest friends on tour are Carlos, Lolo (Musetti) and Luca (Nardi). (Also Novak, ofc). (oh, and he is friends with Casper, I'm still so surprised they are actually friends... my pookies. tennisblr manifested too close to the sun). Besides he seems like he has a really good relationship with Marta (Kostyuk) and Eva (Lys), taking into account he went out with the girls during Wimby for Marta's birthday (everyone was so surprised and I was like this somehow makes a lot of sense). I'm not sure what to answer because I don't really like to assume stuff, but the tour is harsh and I'm glad at least he keeps mentioning his circle, like I don't really mind if the other players don't do it.

VIDEO:
A lencsevégre kapott valakik, benne néhány kivándorolt/elmenekült/elűzött magyarral:

Aldrin), August Lumiere, Johnny Cash, Humphrey Bogart, Ernest Borgnine, Mariska Hargitay, Kim Novak, Kevin Bacon, Lassie, Ronald Reagan, George Cukor, David Niven, Marlene Dietrich, Jane's Addiction, Richard Pryor, Alfred Hitchcock, Frank Sinatra, Orson Welles, Joseph Szigeti, Tom Jones, Eva Gabor, Larry King, John Cusack, Vladimir Horowitz, Daniel Radcliffe, Celine Dion, Bee Gees, Matt Damon, Forest Whitaker, Martin Landau, Billy Bob Thornton, Harrison Ford, Kevin Costner, Russel Crowe, Anthony Hopkins, Martin Scorsese, Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, Halle Berry, Steven Spielberg, Jamie Foxx, Jamie Foxx, Susan Sarandon, Whoopi Goldberg, Bela Lugosi, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rod Stewart, Hugh Laurie, Ella Fitzgerald, Aerosmith, Janis Joplin, Mötley Crue, Marilyn Monroe, Ozzy Osbourne, Jay Leno, Sandra Bullock, Keanu Reeves, Anthony Perkins, Britney Spears, Antonio Banderas, Peter Jackson, Ryan Reynolds, Ricky Martin, The Doors, Slash, John Travolta, Salma Hayek, Charles Bronson, William Shatner, Godzilla, Tom Selleck, Tom Selleck, Jodie Foster, Quentin Tarantino, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Elton John, Billy Crystal, Bruce Willis, Tommy Lee Jones, Bruce Lee, Orlando Bloom, Eddie Murphy, Drew Barrymore, Julio Iglesias, Glenn Close, James Dunn, Alice Cooper, Henry Fonda, David Hasselhoff, Patrick Swayze, Richard Chamberlain, Samuel L. As of 2023, the Walk of Fame comprises 2,752 stars, which are spaced at 6-foot (1.8 m) intervals. There is a $75,000 sponsorship fee upon selection. The fee is used to pay for the creation and installation of the star, as well as maintenance of the Walk of Fame.
Donald Trump valamivel leöntve. Nem akarom tudni, hogy mivel öntötték le ennek a derék, becsületes, szőke, fehér hazafinak a csillagát.

Objects in Motion
Objects in Motion https://ift.tt/kxSGQMP by camwelgrace When Castiel trades a professor position in Boston to be a high school physics teacher in Lawrence, Kansas, he's looking to start a new life. Though it's a considerable change, he's determined to get away from his family and to make something for himself. And everything would be going perfectly if it weren't for one senior in his fourth period who is arrogant, brash and a constant distraction. The student does his best to anger and humiliate Castiel whenever possible, and worst of all Castiel fears that beneath his swagger and charm, he may be more genuine than he likes to let on. Either way, Dean Winchester seems determinately set out to ruin everything Castiel is trying to build.
