Koo 💞: You look pretty in that sweater

You hear the gentle buzz of your phone and look down at your screen to read his message before looking up in his direction. His friends are sat around him conversating as he stares at his phone nonchalantly.

A grin appears on your face as you pick up your phone to reply when your actions are interrupted, “What about you, Y/N?” Jimin says as he, along with Eunwoo and Areum, are staring at you for a reply.

“Sorry, what?” you put your phone back down and give them your full attention, “He was asking if you’re coming with us to the country club later tonight,” Areum fills you in and you remember.

The country club that you basically grew up in along with Jimin, Areum, and Eunwoo, was going to be holding a small dinner event for the richest members as a thank you since they were their biggest spenders. Jimin and Areum were set on going because who could say no to free food and liquor. Eunwoo on the other hand didn’t care for going much, but if his friends were going then he didn’t really mind it.

“Ugh, I don’t know,” you say and look across the room when you hear and see Jungkook laugh at something his friend said. Your favorite sound, really.

“My parents and brother are going but I just wanted to spend my Friday night watching some movies,” you reply and Eunwoo nods while Jimin and Areum stare at each other.

“Y/N, when was the last time we had access to free booze?” Jimin tries to persuey you and frankly, that’s his weakest point.

“Forget the booze-Y/N you don’t hang out with us much anymore,” Areum adds and Eunwoo says, “I don’t want to force you to come with us but the last time you came out was last week when we basically forced you out of your room. Everything okay?”

You remember that night. Jungkook was half naked and hiding in your closet as your three friends walked into your room demanding you go out with them for dinner.

“I’m completely fine, guys,” you say with a gentle smile and they are stare blankly at you, “Really! I’ve just been enjoying my quiet lately,” You add and they sigh at your response.

“Okay but you’re coming with us next week,” Jimin says and turns back around in his desk along with Areum while Eunwoo shrugs next to you.

“What are we doing next week?” you say and Areum replies, “I don’t know but we’re going out with us,” you and Eunwoo chuckle at that.

“Are you gonna need a ride home?” Eunwoo asks as the professor finishes up his sentence and dismisses the class. Jimin and Areum already packed up and waiting for you two, eager to get out of the classroom.

“No, I need to go to Mr. Yoon’s office hours and ask about the packet he handed out last week,” you bluff and the three nod, “We’re going over to Jimin’s after if you want to join us or you need a ride,” Areum says and you nod before Eunwoo zips up his backpack and the group walk out the door.

After a while, you place your last pen in your backpack’s small pocket. You feel warm hands around your waist and flinch before turning to see who it was and quickly calm down when you see the face you’ve woken up to just this morning.

“Hi pretty girl,” he says and you look around to the now almost empty classroom, save for four of five students who were still packing.

“Koo!” you wrap your arms around his neck and his arms, like second nature, wrap around your waist. He places a gentle kiss on your neck and takes a small step back to take a look at you. There’s nothing but love in his eyes. The emotion he’s only ever held for you.

“I want to take you somewhere,” he says and you step away from his embrace gently and turn to grab your backpack.

“Oh? Where are we going?” You say and turn back to him to see a smile on his face that you just know so well. He has something planned.

“You’ll see,” he says and intertwined your hands together before stepping out of the class, taking a moment to assure that neither of your friend groups were near, and making his way to the school’s parking lot.

You both walk to his car and he follows you to the passenger’s side before opening the door for you and quickly making his way to the drivers side with a smile.

“Koo seriously where are we going?” There’s a gentle chuckle in your words as he starts the engine and only looks at you with a smile.

“Relax pretty,” he throws both your backpacks in the backseat and you give up. It wouldn’t be the first time Jungkook does something for you and it certainly would not be the last. His surprises always found a way to make you smile the way nobody else could. The last time he surprised you, you ended the night with a promise ring on your pretty manicured hand, and hickeys all over your body.

He safely makes his way out of the student parking lot when you plug in your phone and Tip Toe by HYBS starts playing softly in the background. Jungkook’s hand on your thigh with your hand above his just enjoying his touch.

The weather was gloomy but it was okay because it was your favorite weather. It made you want to wrap yourself in a ton of blankets and watch your comfort films all day.

With Jungkook’s gentle hum to the song you find yourself at ease.

“We’re here,” you don’t realize how much time has passed until you look up and see…another school?

“Where are we?” You unbuckle your seatbelt and Jungkook makes no effort to reply. He simply gets out of the car and goes to your side to open the door for you.

He gently takes your hand to help you get down. As your fingers pat your skirt down he smiles and says, “A friend owes me a favor,” without another word he takes your hand and starts walking you towards a building on a campus you don’t recognize.

“Jaykay!” A tall blond man yells from afar and Jungkook waves back, “That’s Taemin,” he says to you and soon you both are face to face with said Taemin.

“You must be Y/N,” you smile and nod before extending you hand out to him, “Yes and you’re Taemin,” he nods.

“Jungkook speaks of you a ton during Overwatch matches it’s insane. You know one time while in the middle of a game he left because you texted him-“

“Taemin, we should get moving, right?” Jungkook interrupted and clears his throat with a flushed face. Taemin simply laughs and nudges his shoulder before walking away, without another word, and you two following behind. He swipes his card on the badge reader and opens the door for you three.

“Right through here,” Taemin walks you two towards a door in a hallway filled with stars and astronomy facts along with encouraging posters to study.

“You said an hour but I signed up for an hour and a half,” Taemin smiles at you with a wink when Jungkook thanks him, daps him up, and shoos him away playfully.

“Koo what is this?” There was no one else in the hallway and it was quiet. It was a peaceful quiet thought. The hallway proved to be calming with the gentle lights and glowing star stickers.

“Do you remember what I told you on our first official date?”

“That you liked me a lot but if I made you microwave the chocolate again you would have to make me do the chocolate covered strawberries by myself?” You playfully reply and he chuckles.

“No, pretty. The other thing,”

“That you’d give me the stars and planets if you could,” you remember how he said those words to you that night and how you felt the butterflies in your tummy go wild.

“Unfortunately, I can’t literally give them to you in this lifetime but…I got you something close,” and with that he opens the door and leads you in.

You’re confused at the dark room for a second until you see it. The layout of the universe and stars displayed on the ceiling for you.

You look around the room at the hundred empty seats, “I got Taemin to reserve me his school’s observatory since ours was booked for the next month,” he says and you feel the tears form at the bottom of your eyes.

“Happy 5 months my love,” his chest is to your back as he hugs you and your body fills with warmth. Quickly you turn around so you’re facing him and squeal before kissing him like he’s your entire life. Genuinely, because he is.

He became your support system and someone you always felt safe and loved with. So what if your relationship was private? You’d rather have these simple and loving moments with Jungkook than worry about your friends asking why you’re dating someone like Jungkook who doesn’t share much experience in your lifestyle.

“Baby, I love you,” you say against his lips.

“I love you,” he replies and takes your hand before walking you to the nearest seat and allowing you to sit first before he takes the seat next to yours.

His arm is quick to go behind your seat and you follow by leaning on him as you stare at the moving stars and planets.

“Thank you so much for this Koo,” you say looking at all the colors. The stars reflecting in your eyes in amazement and awe.

“I’d do anything for you, baby,” from behind, Jungkook takes hold of your face and turns you to face him, “And I know we said we weren’t gonna gift each other anything but…”

“Koo-no! I didn’t get you anything!” You whine as he pulls out a small box. A deck of cards…?

“For you my love,” your confused as you take the box and look at him and he’s nudges you to open it so you do.

Pulling out the deck of cards the first one is painted all black with writing in white paint.

“Koo!” You place them against your chest and feel the sting in your eyes. His smile is gentle as he pulls you in for a kiss on the forehead and a hug right after.

“I kind of had the idea a long time ago but thought it was too corny,” he says, “and then I remembered it’s you and you liked corny things so,” he playfully finishes and you nudge him as you lean back on him and read through a couple and feel like crying from joy.

You put the deck back down and put focus back on the scenery displayed all around.

“Oh right,” Jungkook says more to himself as he pulls out his phone and does something with it.

Suddenly ‘Through the Night’ by IU is being played throughout the entire room at an appropriate volume. Just enough so you and Jungkook could still speak and hear one another.

You chuckle.

“Really?”

“What?”

“This is the same song we danced to in the middle of the night like 3 months ago. I didn’t even know you knew the name of this song,” you explain and he chuckled.

“Yeah I have all the songs you’ve ever played or recommended to me in a playlist,”

“You do?”

He nods and you swear it. You swear you found your soulmate. His hand extends and he says, “Would you like to dance under the stars?”

Your laugh is gentle as you place your hand in his and you both sway to the love song with nothing but adoration for one another. His eyes never leaving your face.

He never wants to leave this moment. If he could, he’d freeze time just to stay here in this exact place in time with you. He loves you so much. It’s something that he knows for a fact will never change.

coming from a new money family, junho never took anything he had for granted. as a kid, he was always seen as kind and loved by all his family's employees for being so down to earth.

he always had this dream of helping people with his family's money since the whole lavish lifestyle never really suited him (even though his parents protested). you'd often see him giving away his toys and clothes to random kids he met.

even though he was passionate about it, his parents never took it seriously. to them, it was just a silly kid's dream, and they figured he'd eventually forget about it and start hanging out with more influential people.

that actually happened when they enrolled him in a prestigious school, and junho quickly realized he could be much more helpful if he was on the good side of these kids' families.

he started to dress and talk more like them, but deep down, he knew that even with his best efforts, he could never be like them since his family and their scandalous empire were never taken seriously.

sometime around high school, he decided to focus on other things instead, like becoming an exemplary student and giving another shot at trying to help people with a charity he planned himself and that was enough to him to ended up in snu.

being recruited for the club wasn't something he expected; it caught him by surprise. but all that determination and hunger for acceptance came rushing back, and he started giving his best to get in—even though he knew beating hyungseo would be almost impossible.

then the impossible happened—hyungseo died. he was actually happy that the competition was gone, and he could finally enjoy being part of something important.

UNTIL 2024

during his time in uni, he made good use of his connections, using them to distance himself from his family's brand and build a career of his own in law.

by the time he graduated, he had the best opportunities laid out for him and started working at one of the biggest law firms in the country, using the silent power of the club to reach even higher.

he was almost certain he could just take the money from the family, build a respectable legacy, and live among the other wealthy without being looked down.

but then, of course, his dad had to ruin everything and died… leaving junho very mad about it and with a legacy he wasn’t looking for.

now he was trapped again by his family name and the chain he hated so much, this time with no escape route since all the money came from it.

he doesn’t really know how to run a business and is struggling a lot with it, which adds insult to injury. but again, he’s determined to make good use of it and maybe a rebrand in the future so people forget about his father legacy.

PERSONALITY

junho is incredibly driven, always pushing himself to prove he’s more than just his family’s reputation. he genuinely cares about others and wants to make a difference, even though this is kinda forgotten in him. he feels a lot of pressure to fit into the elite world.

he often struggles with self-doubt and frustration, especially when balancing his values with what’s expected of him.

despite the challenges—like managing his family’s business and climbing the social ladder—he stays resilient and adaptable. junho is smart and strategic, using his connections and opportunities to his advantage.

although he’s constantly seeking approval and dealing with insecurities, his charm and natural charisma help him build influential relationships.

ambitious as ever, junho is determined to surpass his family’s success and leave his own mark.

glimpses of his conflicted self are hard for others to see, but they're there. somewhere inside, he’s still that kid who just wanted to be a good guy, but it’s hard now when he’s trying not to be a joke.

“TOOK HER?! WHAT?!!! i’m on my way right now, okay? we’ll look for her together okay? don’t do anything crazy!!” eunwoo hangs up the phone, grabs his keys, and makes a speedy trip to jungkook’s apartment.

as eunwoo is speeding down the highway, he realizes that this is a set up. the job offer, him spying on you, everything was set up. the argument must’ve been intentional and you both played into their hands like a card game.

“please be okay, y/n. please be okay…”

ji-cheol strokes your cheek. you’re still as beautiful as he remembers. even though he’s not a fan of your short haircut, he’s still in awe of your beauty. so radiant, so pretty. ji-cheol firmly believes that you were made for someone like him and although your action should be deemed unforgivable, he still loves you. he’s got your name permanently on his heart, after all.

your steady breathing calms the anger deep inside him because right now, all that matters is your safety. you could’ve gotten kidnapped or killed but he’s thankful you were safe and healthy in busan.

it’s a three hour drive from busan to home and despite your betrayal, your family still welcomes you with open arms. have things changed? will everything remain the same? will you see jungkook again? you’ll never know because your life isn’t in your hands anymore. it’s in theirs now.

“calm down” nara rolls her eyes. “isn’t this what you wanted?”

jungkook doesn’t hear her. he’s too focused on the fact that you’re gone and there’s no way to track your location. right at this moment, he could be out of the country and flying you god knows where. you aren’t safe with ji-cheol and he knows for a fact the he has you but how will he find you?

“WILL YOU GET A FUCKING GRIP?!” yells nara who’s patience has worn thin. she’s tired of jungkook always talking about you. you aren’t even here anymore, so you’re none of his concern yet you’re all he’s thinking about. you’re all he’s talking about.

“i hope she’s fucking dead so you can stop being such a bitch and move on. SHE DOESN’T EVEN LOVE YOU, DUMBASS!!! she doesn’t love you or your son. she never has and she never will. she probably ran off with ji-cheol because he’s better than you”

seol jumps in his sleep when nara yells at jungkook and slowly, he wakes up wondering what’s with all the commotion? once he comes to, for some reason you’re nowhere to be found and his father looks panicked.

“oh! hi seol. long time no see, baby~” coos nara. “d-daddy? where’s mommy?”

“i’m right here, love”

“you’re not my mommy” seol gets up to go to jungkook’s side but nara quickly grabs him.

“D-DADDY!!! GET OFF ME!!! I WANT MY DADDY!!”

“tell seol that i’m his mom and that we’re getting married or i swear to god i will hurt him. TELL HIM RIGHT NOW!!”

Jungkooks face pales and his blood runs cold, his teary eyes filling up with more tears as he realises that Seol is in danger.

“L-LEAVE my baby please I beg you please! PLEASE LEAVE HIM! GIVE HIM TO ME I SWEAR TO GOD!” Jungkook screams at the top of his lungs as he tries to snatch his son away from the woman- but she starts to dig her nails into seol’s fragile skin.

“AHHH! AH! D-DADDY!” Jungkook gets up and cries out in horror- he immediately tackles Nara to the ground before slapping her hard across the face.

He slaps her so hard that it makes a cringey sound. He cannot believe this he is raising his hand on a woman-but she’s not a woman she’s a monster.

“NO ONE HURTS MY CHILD GETS AWAY WITH IT!” He spits on her. “SEOL GO TO YOUR ROOM AND DON’T COME OUT UNTIL DADDY SAYS SO?” Seol nods crying loudly as he runs to his room.

“YOU HURT MY BABY!” He backhands her again, and it feels fucking good to inflict pain on her, “YOU WANT TO BE HIS MOTHER?! A MOTHER CAN DIE FOR HER CHILD! SHE CANNOT EVEN THINK OF HURTING HER CHILD! like YN! YOU CAN NEVER BE HER YOU PSYCHO BITCH!” Jungkook is going crazy with rage.

“ YOU ARE NOT HIS MOTHER AND YOU WILL NEVER BE YOU PSYCHOTIC BITCH”

He slaps her again and then grabs her hair and tugs on it. “You psycho bitch you said that you hope that yn dies?! I WILL KILL YOU!” He grabs her throat, and starts to choke her.

Her busted lip is bleeding but jungkook is not feeling an ounce of guilt, “You want to replace her? YOU’RE ABOUT TO MEET YOUR FUCKING WHORE OF AN AUNT!” He laughs maniacally.

She struggles to breathe, kicking at him, but it doesn’t hurt- she’s about to die, and he will be free of her forever.

Nobody hurts his child- or you.

But as he’s choking her? Someone busts in through jungkooks unlocked door and it’s eunwoo as jungkook looks up to see.

To me the fact that they enlisted together is the biggest confirmation they aren’t a couple

Imagine getting caught that you are gay in the Korean military…it’s so risky

Imagine how hard would be to be there woth your partener and not act like a couple nearly two years

They sleep next to a bunch of men, eat next to them etc. It would be so hard

Not to me, tbh. I used to make fun like everyday of shippers who thought military was on their ass and waiting to catch them being gay or something. I remember making a joke about Jimin and Eunwoo in the military literally the day before Jimin's enlistment was announced. I never thought military was an issue.

Neither Jimin nor Jungkook are "out", if they're even queer. Officially, they are cis, heterosexual men. Especially Jungkook; he's literally the poster child for Korean Heterosexual Fuckboy.

Shippers always have a problem with understanding this, but that's what they are to almost everyone. You can think something of someone, but that doesn't mean you're right. You can be wrong.

So, why would there be any problem with military if they're cis straight men? That's what shippers were never able to understand. They created a fantasy world in their minds where they insisted Jimin and Jungkook couldn't be seen together, couldn't talk about hanging out, couldn't do anything that friends do because military officials were waiting to catch them being gay. That's how they made it sound for years.

Jungkook pushed Jimin's hand away - oh, that's because military is dangerous.

Jungkook said he didn't meet Jimin - oh, that's because military is dangerous.

Jimin said Jungkook didn't cook for him - oh, that's because military is dangerous.

So it's extremely annoying and laughable that the same people who pushed that imaginative narrative, they're now now saying that enlisting together is actually proof that they're dating.

They couldn't be seen together because military is dangerous, but now they're being seen together everyday there. Did military stop being dangerous?

But no, it's only because shippers needed a "reason" that was so out of their control to come to terms with the fact that maybe they don't hang out or go out together that much because they're just not dating.

Which is why jikookers will always be shippers just like everyone else.

Also the way they always claim taekookers or other shippers are from conservative cultures, but they've spent all their spit saying that Korea is so homophobic and intolerant and conservative, all while at the same time boasting about so many jikookers allegedly existing there? Is being from a conservative country valid or not for being a shipper?

Jimin's POV

"Haha," he laughs, "you should try finding a girl to love from one of the refugees. I'm sure all the women you've saved swoon over you."

"You know I don't bring them here with any intentions, Eunwoo," I laugh.

"I knowwww," Eunwoo drags, "but you need someone to love you."

"For now," I sigh, "no."

Eunwoo frowns. Right then, Lucas comes running, "Sir!"

"Jimin sir!" Lucas huffs.

"Woah, what is it, Lucas?" I ask.

"Storm," Lucas tries to catch his breath, "proximity. Will hit us soon. We need to cover."

"Alright," I straighten my posture, "Blare the alarm. Make sure everyone's inside."

"Yes, sir!" Lucas runs back.

"Let's go take cover, shall we?" I ask Eunwoo.

He nods and we walk inside our camp. I have been living in this camp filled with saved refugees who escaped from their countries into Egypt illegally. When I find someone, I usually bring them here and offer them shelter and food in return for their skills. We live here illegally and a lot of time authorities had to be bribed into leaving us alone. We had to be prepared for the authorities when they come so we've placed several instruments around us which help capture soundwaves, heat signatures, etc. 

"Sir!" Lucas says.

"Yes?" I ask.

"We've picked up a heat signature," he says.

"What? In the storm? How many people?" I inquire.

"One," he says.

"One? Alone? Any vehicles?" I ask.

"No, sir. One. All alone," he says.

"Oh God, no. We need to get them. It's dangerous outside alone," I order, "get the vehicle up and running."

"Yes, sir," a few guards run outside the room.

"I hope they're alright," I sigh.

In a few minutes, we were outside in the blowing storm driving towards the heat signature. Soon, we saw a woman in our sights. We stopped our vehicle and stepped out and take spare goggles and masks for her. We run towards her.

"Are you alright ma'am?" I ask holding her shoulders.

"A-a man," she struggled to breathe, "with glowing eyes."

"What?" Lucas asks.

"Help," she says and faints into my arms. I quickly pick her up and walk to the vehicle. We placed her in the back seat and drove back.

"Dr Maria!" I call for her. I found her a few years back in the city when she ran away from her abusive parents and husband. When I found out that she was a doctor, I offered her shelter and food in return for treating the people in our camp.

"Yes? What's wrong?" She asks.

"Everything!" I panicked, "she was caught in the dust storm. She fainted."

"Bring the stretcher," Dr Maria ordered, "hold onto her."

When the stretcher arrived, I placed her onto the stretcher and Dr Maria took lead to the medical room and instructed everyone to stay outside. After a while, she came out. I scanned her expression but she gave none.

"She's fine. Probably fainted from shock and she's inhaled a lot of dust which probably will develop into pneumonia," she finished.

"So, is she awake?" I ask.

"No, but when she does, you won't disturb her by bombarding questions. She needs rest physically and mentally. Got it?" She says.

"Yes, ma'am!" I salute. She smiles and walks away.

Suddenly we hear a scream from the medical room and we run in to see the woman sitting up and prying the IV off, "Please help there was another woman she needed help."

"Another woman? Is she your friend?" Eunwoo asks.

"No, I don't know her but she was asking for help but that man almost killed me. She took the hit," she starts hyperventilating.

"It's okay, ma'am. Please calm down. Can you tell us a location?" I ask.

"I don't know it was dusty and all I saw was brown and the lady. And then a pair of glowing eyes," she speaks as she tries to calm down.

"Okay. Where are you from, ma'am?" Eunwoo asks while noting down everything she says.

"I'm from a village nearby. I was in a travel pack but got lost. Please help me return. My kids might be looking for me," she requests.

I smile at her, "Once you recover, we'll find the village for you. Do not worry. What's your name?"

"It's Edrice. Thank you so much," she says.

We step out of the room, "We need to find that woman," Eunwoo says.

"Yeah. The storm's calmed down. Let's go now. The sooner we find her, the better it is," I reply.

"What's with the glowing eyes though.." Eunwoo asks.

"Probably seeing things while panicking. We've all been there. Haven't we?" I look at Eunwoo. His past was quite rough and he could relate to this woman's ramblings.

"Yeah.." he looks down.

"Hey pal, it's okay. Don't worry," I put my arms around him to comfort him and he smiles at me.

Just as we reached outside, we saw the guards carrying a woman. 

"Sir!" One of them screamed, "We found this woman outside trying to get in here."

She was struggling in their grip, "Let go of me!" She was screaming.

"Let go of her," I said.

I knew the first thing she'd do was make a run for the gates and before she did I held softly onto her arms, "We won't hurt you. We just want to help. What's your name?"

"Can you hide me?" She asks.

"H-hide? From who?" I ask.

"You won't understand who. If you want to help, then please, hide me somewhere," she pleads.

"I'll try. Tell me," I reply.

"Can we go inside?" She stands up clutching her stomach.

"Yeah, sure," I help stand and throw arms around my shoulder.

"I'm fine, I can walk," she said.

"No, it's alright. I'll help," I insisted and she gave in.

I took her to the medical room and she froze looking at Edrice.

"It's no problem. You tried to help me too," the woman replied.

"What's going on?" I ask.

"I told you, the man with glowing eyes. He was trying to kill her or something and tried to help and he tried to kill me and she took the hit when he did and save me. I-" She started rambling but the woman hushed her.

"The man with glowing eyes is real?" Eunwoo asks.

"Yes," both of them reply in unison. 

"What's your name?" I ask.

"Yuna. Min Yuna," she replies, "are you perhaps... Park Jimin?"

I was shocked. How did she know me?

"Y-yeah, how do you know-" I asked.

"Oh, I've read about you. How you help refugees and... loot from the pyramids and government camps," she looks away.

"I-" I didn't know what to say, "who are you?"

"I am an archaeologist," she says, "I've been in Egypt before and heard a lot about you so I read up on you before we set camp. I was afraid that someone like you might rob our camp."

"Which camp?" I ask.

"Oh, the south camp for the lover's pyramid..." she says and looks down.

"Oh, that one?" I ask, "we spied on you guys. We were planning to rob if you found something from the pyramid. We've been to that pyramid before the government had it under its radar. We couldn't break in because it was too fragile and our detectors found almost no gold."

"We couldn't enter either. It was too fragile. I wish we never went there..." she sighs.

"Why?" I ask.

"If I tell you why you'll call me crazy," she chuckles. 

"No," I encourage, "go on."

"Would you believe if I said that a mummy woke up from its death?"

KANG TAEJOON (SEO JAERIM) is a 25 year old GRADUATE STUDENT & BUSINESSMAN (IDENTITY THIEF), originally hailing from SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA (DAEGU, SOUTH KOREA). with a net worth of 8B₩ (4.5M₩), it’s no wonder they secured an apartment at noeul gardens! being so CHARISMATIC is probably what made them so notable, but if they aren’t careful, garden party will pick up on how CONNIVING they are. if that dreaded magazine ever finds out that THEY’VE STOLEN THE IDENTITY OF A TRUST FUND BABY WHO IS OUT OF THE COUNTRY, the gossip will write itself… 

BACKGROUND: 

broke kid (with a measly 4.5M₩ in savings, of which he hasn’t touched since he’s gotten access to kang taejoon’s trust fund) without any dreams or aspirations in life

kind of like your typical genius who is too smart for his own good, his intellect being the cause of his downfall

all he really wants is to have fun, very “here for a good time, not a long time” and what better way to achieve that than to be filthy rich?

getting a good job was not an option for a college dropout (college was too boring for him) so he resorted to "borrowing” the identity of someone who has everything he deems necessary for a fun life

kang taejoon was the perfect target—dumb spoilt brat wasting away at clubs and casinos overseas, too drunk to even realise his bank account had gotten compromised

definitely helps that the real taejoon is currently studying in the US for the past couple of years, which explains why people don’t really know him (though it’s likely his family isn’t too proud of him and would rather he not appear in public too) 

he doesn’t know taejoon personally, he was just sitting at the table next to him at some bar in itaewon, where he heard him bragging about his wealth to a girl he was trying to take home so jaerim stole his phone and wallet (easy, considering how he was practically staring down the girl’s shirt) and gained access to everything that dumbass owns (also did his fair share of research after, made easier with access to his phone)

it has been a couple of months since jaerim started living as taejoon, which was around the time he moved into noeul gardens

like taejoon, he claims to be a graduate student in business analytics, interested in starting up his own business, of which he is seeking investments for  

currently in talks with some investors about some new age club-cum-casino type of establishment (inspiration taken from the og kang taejoon himself lol) and if he pulls it off, he could very well triple in net worth or land himself in jail and have his own tinder swindler type of documentary—go big or go home, yeah?

PERSONALITY:

seo jaerim likes to think that he’s the smarter, funnier (and better looking) version of kang taejoon 

the real taejoon is much like a wastrel fratboy who only got this far in life because his grandfather left him a hefty trust fund

he’s convinced he’s making better use of taejoon’s money than taejoon ever will, which would relieve his guilt, if he even had any to begin with (unfortunately, he feels no remorse over what he’s doing) 

can be a bit of a narcissist; he’s pretty vain and highly aware of how intelligent he is, doesn’t help that he thinks he’s better than the real taejoon lol

every move he makes is careful and calculated, though he portrays a very relaxed, almost even nonchalant attitude on the outside

enjoys flirting and playing with people’s feelings, even better if he can tell they’re falling for him 

sociable but private, hardly reveals anything personal about himself (for obvious reasons, that and he does not open up to people easily); is great fun at parties though

he’s living very hedonistically as taejoon, has absolutely no restrain over how he spends his money; eating, drinking and dressing in only the finest (though there are days you would catch him ordering in fast food or cheap delivery when he gets tired of rich people food)

basically, he makes the perfect kang taejoon, the kang taejoon the kang family would’ve wanted him to be—smart, eloquent, and an outstanding bachelor, except none of this is real

WANTED CONNECTIONS:

someone that knew the real taejoon before, maybe they were childhood friends of some sort, and notices a difference?

or someone that knew him as jaerim and finds him oddly familiar, though they can’t make out why

enemies to lovers or enemy with benefits, two people who absolutely do not get along but cannot ignore the sexual tension between them

a potential investor for that business idea he has aka a potential scam victim… calling for naive muses lol

he knows your secret and has some sort of hold over you, probably blackmails you into doing whatever he wants

or both of you know each other’s secrets and made a deal to keep mum for mutual benefits

you’re famous and you have a fling with him, which is problematic since he shouldn’t be catching the eye of the paparazzi (secret fling gone wrong maybe?)

Hello hello my lovelies!!! How are you doing this wonderful Thursday? I hope everyone is well and taking care! Did you remember to drink some water? Have you snacked in the last 3 hours? Are you sitting straight? Remember to open a window for a little and let the air around change!

Today I bring you guys a little fun post, a throwback post! I've been sitting at home and going back and forth to the studio for the last few weeks and to be honest I miss the road a whole lot! (╥﹏╥) If you know me, you known I LOVE going out on small trips around the country and sometimes even overseas! I was going through some pics with one of my closest friends today and we stumbled upon our New York trip pics! It was sooo long ago and I can't wait for having new adventures!

I guessed since I can't travel right now, I could at least reminisce about it with you! So let's get started on that ♡

[SoHo, New York]

First day on New York! We went there as a Christmas gift for ourselves I remember. We spent there something like a week? Maybe 10 days? So we didn't want to waste a single second. We arrived at like 1pm, rushed to the hotel and went out again right away. It was so cold tho! But we enjoyed a lot that first day hahaha! We went to SoHo and honestly shopped SO much for a first day there- No regrets though.

These are some of my favorite pics from the trip! (๑>ᴗ<๑) The Brooklyn Bridge was awesome, really! There was a lot of people which was fun, but also we were all tourists so no one looked at me weird for having a photoshoot in the middle of it LOL!!! I gotta admit that I was a bit confused on why we would visit a *bridge* but honestly once I was there it was just breathtaking- I underestimated the size of that thing!

Last but not least, Times Square!!! We went there last of all because we knew we would be broke way too soon otherwise. Regardless!!! We did have a really fun time and still shopped a lot there too LOL I think half of my clothes to this days are from New York and honestly? Best investment I've ever made.

Have you guys been to New York or any other overseas country? Do you like traveling at all? What's a place you'd love to visit someday? I'd love to visit New York again! Italy is a dream of mine too. And Australia! I would travel the world if I could haha!

Okay, Long Rant time.

Lee Suho and my thoughts

I'll be talking mostly about drama Suho

Honestly, I am so done with all people putting Suho down and using excuses like

"He was boring" "He had no personality" "Han Seojun was way better."

No. Wait. Hold on.

First of all, Lee Suho as a character is a complex personality both in the webtoon in the drama. Now, take a step back and imagine how would it be like if you were in his place?

Can you imagine being a kid watching your mother die slowly and then watch your own father cheat on your mother with some other woman?

He was a kid, for God's sake and no one thought about it that way. He closed himself off and distanced himself from others and avoided getting too attached to anyone except for this one girl he found at the comicbook store but she ended moving away from that place.

Many years later, he found two friends, Seojun and Seyeon. He slowly opened up to them and they became an important part of his life and just when he thought that things are fine, one of his friends committed suicide and as if that itself was not enough and he wasn't already overwhelmed with guilt, Seojun showing up, blaming him and calling him a murderer made things worse for him and that's how in a very short period of time, he lost another friend.

Can you imagine that happening around you?

Honestly, I can't.

Even if I love Han Seojun as a character, I'll never truly forgive him for not hearing Suho out and blaming him and breaking things off instead of sorting the problems out.

After years of blaming himself, suffering from PTSD and depression to the point that he got panic and anxiety attacks, he continued to distance himself from others and became this cold distant guy because he didn't want people to warm up to him and the thought of losing the people (who he grows close to) in the future haunted him. He also considered himself the worst kind of person and didn't bother to let people think otherwise.

I understand that he was kinda rude to Jugyeong in the start but when he understood what he is doing, he stopped doing it and apologised. But somewhere he was still scared of hurting her or losing her that's the reason why he immediately shut himself off after Seojun not very kindly reminded of that one thing he already blamed himself for and told her things that would push her away even when it hurt him.

He was scared to go ahead with his instincts and you can see him just stand in the background and do nothing at times, but then he eventually decided to confess what he felt and much to his luck she liked him back. He got that happiness he craved for since he was a kid through her and was it wrong?

No. Because she was healing his broken state and he was healing hers.

And just like that when things seemed to good for them, a sequence of events unfolded themselves before them. Him getting involved in an accident, that scene where he was about to get hit by the car, the expression on his face screamed that he was alright with his life ending right then and that broke my heart. He blamed himself that much for something which was not even his fault. His confrontation with his father where in he finally lets it all out, that scene made me feel terrible for him, he went through so much pain and suffering for so long and yet again when he was settling and accepting things around them, Jugyeong's secret came out and he literally ran around to make sure she was okay, idc if you are team Seojun but if you tell that he didn't care enough, rewatch the entire show. :)

Through all of this, Suho tried his best to learn from his mistakes and to come out of his little anti social shell. He was finally learning to find happiness in the moments while they lasted.

And because well his bad luck loves him, his father ended up in a hospital in a country far away from his hometown with no one familiar and the worst thing was parting from the people he cared about, Seojun and Jugyeong.

If you tell me that he was the one who broke up, do you try to think why did he?

Again, imagine yourself in his shoes, your faraway, like almost more than 12 hours away from someone you love and that person is in their hometown staying up all night waiting for your call and ending up sick because of doing so. It was obvious he felt the guilt of making her suffer like that, so he broke it off. Now, Jugyeong had friends by her side and her family but him? He had no one, just a few people from his dad's company and doctors. He was literally in an unfamiliar country surrounded with strangers.

Imagine getting up everyday and finding yourself in the same place. I can't imagine how hard it was for him to be like that but he went through it for almost more than one year.

He deserved happiness and what was wrong with it if he found through Jugyeong?

But what I truly love about his character is how he loves and cares with all his heart and is loyal to the core. I mean seriously. Also the way he changed and learned from all the mistakes he made and was the first to apologise and actually change makes me love him even more.

Also, I get it if you dislike Suho, but don't hate on Cha Eunwoo, he did his best to portray the character the way it was written and according to me, he did an amazing job.

Eunwoo sighs very tiredly but he has to wait until he gets her to a dorm. What she didn’t know was he got someone he trusted very much to help her with her studies and someone she could actually trust. He knows Jungkook has connections due to the job he has, and he has looked up those people that were with him.

He has to think of a plan that makes them both save, he also got a job in a different place to disguise himself to protect Y/n and himself with. She will be online for now while she is on the campus. The problem is that Jungkook could fit in with the college campus, but he is sure that he could either be a student, a janitor, a principal and a teacher.

Now that thought scared him and he wanted to know how he got Y/N.

Meanwhile with the Choi family

Mr. Choi had to tell Jungwon to separate from them, and go low profile. Go to their secret place for a while. Jungwon nodded his head and went to their secret place that in not in Seoul but somewhere else in Korea. Jungwon also destroyed anything that could track him down like a phone computer and camera. Mr. Choi gave him a bag full with necessities.

Mr. Choi told Mrs. Choi to get rid of their phones and to get all the necessities that they could get and they also had to separate. Mr. Choi doesn’t have much because he gave it all up for his wife and child.

They got away from the PI without knowing they did and no one would know where they could be. Also they avoided Bangtan without knowing.

Meanwhile with Jungkook

Jimin tries to contact them and but no luck was on his side. He was really confused because he thought he could trust them enough to pick up. Now he is actually worried for this family because once Jungkook is bloodthirsty that’s it, everyone in his way will suffer. He shivers at the thought.

Jimin thought about Jungkook has like three different personalities one is cold-hearted and not as affectionate, one is bloodthirsty and will make you regret, and his actual form is bunny hybrid that will worship the ground you walk on, but only for his noona.

Taehyung was looking at Jimin’s facial expressions and to him it actually hurt because that family that doesn’t deserve to be targeted is very much in danger. Y/N is also in danger and he also has Eunwoo’s contact. He told him everything. The tiger hybrid sighs and hopes for the family to make it out alive. He also doesn’t know why he cares, maybe it’s Y/N’s family or the fact that he feels noona’s spirit more when he is around her and he just wants her safe.

It has been days and he’s sure that he’s gone insane because he’s seeing your face everywhere. Nothing is of no use, no connection is helpful.

Jungkook sitting on the chair of his study in his house, and it’s very dark, the weather is cold outside, and it feels so alone and crazy.

Even his friends were of no use, which is really upsetting because they used to help him with basically everything and now it’s like you’ve gone off the surface of earth.

Where are you?

You’ve left him just like his noona. Jungkook rubs his temples. He wants to cry, but he’s sure his eyes are out of tears.

If only he knew which country you had escaped to, and with whose help he would be able to find you.

Just then his phone rings. He rolled his eyes as he picked up his phone.

“ WHAT DO YOU WANT AND DON’T CALL ME UNLESS IT’S IMPORTANT, RIGHT, THIS BETTER BE IMPORTANT.” Almost screams into the phone.

“sir sir calm down you’re gonna love this news.”

Jungkook raises his eyebrow. “ what do you mean?”

“Ms yn has been found!! I mean her whereabouts.. she is in Hawaii.”

10 - Cha Eunwoo

He's young and still learning and form "My ID is" to “Rookie historian" you can already see the improvement. He does still have a way to go. Eunwoo is however born to be on screen. He's too pretty and too cute and too likeable not to watch. I'll enjoy watching him grow.

9 - Kwak Dongyeon

I'm going to be honest, I fell for his face. He was so stunning in "Love in the moonlight" with that long hair, I couldn't get him out of my head. I'm still completely floored by the fact that he's the same age as Cha Eunwoo!

8 - Lee Jae Wook 

Scary looking until he smiles then he baby! Able to convey a lot with very little. It’s all in the eyes. Talented young guy that’s shot up the ranks the past years. And he’s still so young! 

7 - Lee Jong Suk

Truth be told I had to get used to him at first. He does not have the most conventional face... It didn’t take long though. He is very handsome and he has a really high cuddle factor and a goofyness that kills me every time. His speaking voice is also highly underrated. When he was reciting poetry in "Hymn of death" I remember thinking, I have no real idea of what Korean should sound like but if it's not this then what's the point.

6 - Jung Hae In

He's like a little boy, that baby face and those innocent eyes, but with the body of a man. Remember hat scene in “While you were sleeping”, oh you know the one. And then there’s "Tune in for love". (Are you still scared of me? *scoots closer* How about now? *closer* And now? ) If you've seen it you know. Not only is he pleasant to watch so is his acting. Delicate and never over the top.

5 - Park Seo Joon

He's mister likeable. Tall, handsome, goofy and strong. He's just one of those actors whose on screen personality is entertaining and hard to resist. It doesn't matter what he's doing but if Park Seo Joon is doing something people will want to be a part of it.

4 - Jang Se Jong

Soft spoken, soft face, soft personality... soft me. Somehow he always has the power to captivate me on screen. He seems to cry A LOT. Cinnamon roll. It's also nice to see a leading actor who is not completely rail thin and chiseled, don't get me wrong he's def in shape though!

3 - Seo Kang Joon

A stunning, versitile actor with eyes to drown in. Top tier acting. He blew me away in "Are you human too". He always get's cast as older, it's hard to believe he's only 26. Plays the piano and is made to do so in practically every show he does. I'm not complaining.

2 - Woo Do Hwan

A recent addition that shot up my list like a cannon. He's got a face that can do everything and slice bread. He can pull of everything from lovable dorky geek to psycho killer with that face. His acting in "My Country" was what made the show for me. What could have been an annoying, easily hated, uncohesive character became one of the most rounded relatable characters on the show. And how STUNNING did he look with that long hair?! He's got the looks AND the chops... GIVE THE MAN MORE WORK!

1 - Ji Chang Wook

My ult number 1. He's so cute I could eat him up! He's got puppy face and I love him! If he smiled at me directly I would go blind. And did I mention sexy? Whether he's the action hero or dorky lead he's always a joy to watch even in a mediocre drama just because of who he is.

Hello. So my blood’s been boiling all day long reading the things regarding Jungkook, Jaehyun, Mingyu and Eunwoo’s actions and the media’s and kfans comments about it. So i gotta say a few things again, I’m literally so mad at this point idc if anyone will agree or disagree with me, I just need to say it.  

So I got a list.

1. Let’s start chronologically with what Dispatch comes up with: Jungkook, Jaehyun, Mingyu and Eunwoo have visited CLUBS in Itaewon in time of Coronavirus, after they encouraged social distancing. Okay. So dispatch (the hypocritical tabloid that will constantly search promotion and support from idols, and will later blackmail them with info about THEIR OWN PERSONAL BUSINESS), releases that information without mentioning any dates of the occurrence, BUT 

right before BTS is releasing something new

ASTRO’s current promotions 

Seventeen’s new docu series are out

NCT’s comeback literally a few hours away

right after there has been a corona outbreak in some Itaewon clubs

right in the midst of Nth room’s owner’s prosecution

 And surely enough omits the fact that the boys did not go to a club, but went to a restaurant and a bar, after Korea’s regulations about social distancing have been somewhat dropped, people were allowed to go eat out or walk around freely in small groups and a WEEK (25th april) before any covid-19 outbreak (1st may) happened, in a place far away from where the idols were. So in conclusion, dispatch had this info for a month now, decided to release it in a crucial time for all the members of the groups and at a time much much more important crimes are being brought up to light in Korea AND decides to miss out on the fact that this is literally nothing more, but a dinner with friends. 

2. Let’s talk about the situation in South Korea with COVID-19 and the reactions of the “fans”. Don’t you dare come up to me with “facts” about the virus that people don’t know, because I am a med student, I’ve been more than introduced to the virus by all of my professors and I am currently writing a final essay on Social medicine and the epidemiology of viruses and diseases, guess where, that’s right, in South Korea. So, let me tell you some stuff: South Korea was NEVER in a state of a full lockdown. People were encouraged to practice social distancing and through the discipline and resources of the country, the count of the people who got the virus was kept low. From being the second country with most cases after China inFebruary , due to early regulations, South Korea managed to score 0 new patients on the 30th April, AFTER the boys went out and after places like restaurants, malls, bars were working. So if you’re gonna bash on the idols, how about you also do it with the majority of Seoul that was free to go out. Jungkook, Jaehyun, Mingyu and Eunwoo NEVER broke any laws, never acted out in a midst of the virus spreading and never did anything that the normal human (which they are btw, idk if kfans have noticed) would do at that point. 

So that brings me to the Hypocrisy of korean “fans”. We all saw that the majority of the hate comes from them. Honey, things are bad in the other countries, you are aware of the regulations in your own, so you can not use the “i didn’t know how thing were” because YOU LITERALLY LIVE IN THE SAME PLACE. So tell me why I saw things like “You shouldn’t have become an idol”, “I want a written apology” (which you got :))) and get ready for the last one - “kill yourself”. Why, maybe because there is nothing going on in your boring life that you want to take on four people who did nothing against their country and you are going against  their freedom as individuals. I love the fact that international fans are more willing to not blindly trust a media’s words, when some literally have it worse in their countries and kfans are ready to throw idols under the bus right away. And by “I love”, i mean I hate this shit. How spineless can you be?

3. Now, here is the deal. They are idols. Therefore yes, I agree with the fact that if they were going to go out and get caught, more or less we live in a world, where they should have expected some backlash, regardless if it’s from dumb haters. However it’s one thing to say “hey that wasn’t right” and it’s another to put them all at the stake, for literally going out with their friends, while breaking none of the regulations of their own country. Seeing the comment on Jaehyun’s insta that promoted suicide, I can’t help, but think about Sulli and Jonghyun, who had such a hard time with managing this “idol image” and constantly being put on a scale or under a microscope for each action, that they made the decision to take away their own life. Is that what you want? It’s easy to sit behind the keyboard and blurt out hate just because you cannot deal with your own issues, but words cut deep, and I don’t know how some people still have the nerve to do these things when we live in 2020 and we have suffered these losses. 

4. Lastly I want to say that there are much more important stuff that we should be focusing on, like for example the whole situation with the Nth room being revealed right now, which involves Sex trafficking and exploitation of human rights, and you want to focus of four men having dinner together. I’m not saying that dispatch has anything to do with that case, because I really don’t know that,  but this speaks for us as a society. Do we really want to let rapists and sexual predators (Moon Hyun Wook) live their best life with zero criticism and reflection on what they did and prosecute Jungkook, Jaehyun, Mingyu and Eunwoo for doing literally nothing illegal and dangerous, just making a poor decision for their image because of the time we live in? Well, damn.

True Beauty: 2 Episodes Recap and Overall Thoughts

Some SPOILERS but also it’s in the first 2 episodes so not really. Alot of my notices are in comparison to the Webtoon which is free to read on the app.  1. Jugyeong Lim trips a lot. Like a lot. Super annoying. 2. She’s supposed to be into horror, and she is, but her room is decorated with Day of the Dead items. Day of the Dead is a day of remembrance of those who passed away in Mexico and other Latin countries. It’s not really supposed to be “scary” so I don’t know why that was chosen for her decor. 3. Sujin Kang’s character is a natural beauty, no makeup. She’s pretty cool and even beats up a guy that harrassed Jugyeong. So far, way different than her Webtoon character. In comparison, the Webtoon character was into make-up, dressed a little sultry, and was passive aggressive towards Jugyeong. Her character also pretty much disappears in the 2nd season of the Webtoon. 4. I’m not a fan of Cha Eunwoo’s acting, and thought it was weird he was being dropped into a similar story/character since he was already in Gangnam Beauty. I was worried he’d do the same monotone character, but so far, he’s been fine.  5. Jugyeong’s expressions have been awkward. During the scene when we were supposed to be in awe of her beauty, she had an awkward expression that reminded me of a goldfish. She does this a lot throughout the drama. 6. Additionally, Jugyeong keeps using a high pitch voice that sort-of make her sounds like an anime cartoon. Sometimes her real tone comes in, and it’s nice but then she goes back to her cartoony voice.  7.  Jugyeong has a dad! In the webtoon, we never hear about her dad or see him. In this one, they throw in a tropey “loan shark” scenario which is why they have to move. He seems like a loser so far.  8.  Jugyeong and her 2 love interests meet differently which I don’t mind. I understand it’s a drama and they have to introduce the characters earlier. 9. The rejection scene was way more harsh than in the Webtoon. I can see why they added that to make sense of what happens after that.  10. In the Webtoon, the story starts in middle school. However, the drama starts in high school.  There are some other differences, that I have no complaints about. I understand they have to change the formatting to make sense for a K-drama. I’m curious if Sujin Kang is still going to be a villian because so far I like her.

3RD POV

Y/n took a long, deep breath as she reminisced on how she had been caught. Sweat rolling down her face to her neck as the scorching hot sun blazed down on her. Her dirtied, ragged clothes sticking to her now tanned skin. Her foot chains grazed against the dirt every few minutes as she moved along the vegetables from the ground. Her back aching as she crouched down every step she took, pulling the carrots from the ground. She felt her body attempting to cool itself down from the heat.

She looked up to her left, looking at the soldiers whose eyes roamed over the farm with other prisoners spread about doing different tasks. A man near the forest, surrounded by countless soldiers, had chained feet and hands was lumbering firewood for the emperor's fireplace as winter was to come in a few months. Rumor has it that he had killed countless men during his time of service of the late Emperor Jooyoung only to betray his country and had almost made the late emperor headless. A man not that far from her, with only bound feet was also picking vegetables from the ground. Rumor had it that he used to be the executioner for the Kims for the last 10 years. However, he had tried executing the Queen as he was one of her many affairs whom she had promised that he were to climb up the hierarchy. Many more prisoners that surrounded her had rumors going around and about that they all had tried murdering the Emperor and Empress while working for them. Securing a job within the palace gave them that advantage to do so. These criminals were called “parasites.” This term was only given to prisoners that are considered to be one of the most violent and tyrant; the lunatics. “Tsk, ‘parasite’ my ass.” muttered Y/n under her breath.

As Y/n went back to her assigned cyclic task, she felt a pair of eyes burning through the back of her head making the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. She had ignored it and focused on not trying to be punished for “laziness” and “day dreaming.” Y/n shrugged off the feeling of uneasiness and continued working. At that moment, she had heard footsteps getting closer and closer to her but had ignored it as she thought that she was not the one being approached. Y/n’s eyes widened as she felt a sudden tug on her right wrist, turning her around making her bump into someone’s chest. A soldier looked down at Y/n winking at her but not letting go of her wrist. Some prisoners tried to be discreet and watched from the corner of their eyes as they were doing their work. This ought to be interesting. Y/n looked up at the unknown man with confusion written all over her face, until she yelped feeling a hand creep around her waist and grope her ass.

Y/n ripped her wrist away from his grip, punching him on the face and kicking his ribs. Soldiers ran towards the commotion and took their swords out from their waists. Y/n felt fear creeping upon her but soon disappeared as she saw a prisoner stand in front of her, her eyebrows furrowing and mouth hung slightly ajar. Soon enough, every prisoner isn’t he farm stood before her facing the soldiers. ”No woman should be touched like that by any man,” a man who looked about her age had stated. “I’m Cha Eunwoo, the lieutenant of this military. I can do whatever I want and no one is to tell me otherwise but his highness, himself,” Eunwoo took a step closer to the young man staring right through his soul. “While you can’t do anything. Because, one wrong move and I can just have you killed off right here, right this instant, parasite,” Eunwoo spat on his face. A man had suddenly yelled, “We’re not the real parasites Eunwoo, you and your little minions are!”

Y/n pushed herself through the crowd trying to get to Eunwoo before any violence could occur. She was pushed and shoved in every direction as the prisoners started yelling vulgar words towards the “Lieutenant.” At last, Y/n stood in front of him withstanding her ground, “Just because you are part of the royal army does not mean you can disrespect others however you like. You should know that the best as it’s part of the oath you took, Lieutenant.” Eunwoo scoffed and rolled his eyes in response, blinding down to her ear, he whispered and a moment of silence instilled in the air. No one hears what he’s saying, Y/n’s eyes widening by the second.

She landed the first punch on Eunwoo’s face, catching him by surprise, making him stumble back and fall down. Y/n marched towards his direction only seeing red at this point. Eunwoo struggled to scramble back as the crown surrounded him. Y/n snatched a sword from a soldier standing on the sides and that’s when the prisoners realized she was about to kill him.

Y/n raised the sword, ready to swing the heavy piece of yielded metal at him. She doesn’t want to kill him, no, she just wants to put a cut on his pretty little for him to be reminded of her. With each step she took toward him, the more he had struggled to move back. “You’re no royal soldier. You feed off of the unnecessary fear you give to people. You belittle anyone who is below you so you can feel higher than you already are. But, let me tell you this once. You will just be like your father, you will never experience sitting on that thrown, you’ll only die trying to. You’ll die with everyone knowing you’re just a nobody. You’re nothing but a conceited traitor who wants all the power to himself, wanting to overthrow The 7 Emperors with your little minions. Don’t think I know that your soldiers that are with you right now framed these prisoners just so YOU and your little friends can step up and take their spot. “ Everyone had gasped, still not being able to believe the words that they had heard. “But, what happens once everyone hears about this? Oh wait, they just have. Now, would you rather die in the hands of a parasite still maintaining your titled rank? Or, die in the hands of an executioner as the three Kim Emperors laugh at you as you beg for forgiveness on your knees, Lieutenant.” Y/n held the edge of the sword in his right artery.

The sight in front of Y/n made her grin wide in content, her smile imitating that of Cheshire the Cat. Eunwoo has cold sweat running down all over his face, pupils shaking with fear that he had been caught. But, he slowly regained his emotions. “And who do you think you are, little girl? Who do you think the emperors will believe, you, a homeless and worth-nothing-thief? Or, their prized royal lieutenant?” Y/n scoffed and pressed the sword deeper into his neck, “You? A prized lieutenant you say?” Y/n looked straight into his eyes, suddenly erupting in loud laughter. The royal soldiers with confusion written all over their face as the other prisoners joined in the laughter.

“Oh my, my, what a gullible soldier boy.” She gripped his collar, picking him up off the ground, “Just because I’m a thief, does not mean I am any less important than you are to the emperors.” Y/n grinned and pushed him towards his men, who still had yet to process the information that their Lieutenant was a traitor to their motherland, Eunwoo filled with shock and confusion as he came to a realization of what she said. Y/n looked around her and saw them looking at her with curiosity and wonder, urging her to speak more, waiting for her to say more.

“Now, is that how a lady should behave in this dynasty?”

Y/n turned to the direction of the voice that had interrupted her, eyes widening, but withstanding her emotions. There he was, the smartest of the Kim brothers, Emperor Namjoon, who also happens to be the general of their military. Everyone had bowed excluding Y/n, Eunwoo stood up glaring at her, “Your highness, this parasite has done nothing but spew lies out of her mouth. She is accusing me, your royal lieutenant, of treason. I suggest we execute her.” Y/n scoffed, merely glancing at Emperor Namjoon before gracefully bowing to him showing the man her respect. “To answer your question, your highness, the answer would be, “no.” No, as in a lady should not behave like that, but...a lady should not be told how to behave when an estranged man has touched her without her permission,” while glaring at Eunwoo. The edge of Emperor Namjoon's lips stretched upward at the rebuttal Y/n had given.

“Lieutenant.” At the sound of the Emperor’s, who is also his general, Eunwoo automatically stands at attention with his chest out and chin high, like he was trained to do. “You and your men are relieved from duty and to be arrested...of treason.” Y/n smirked once she heard the words coming out of Emperor Namjoon’s mouth. Eunwoo looked at the Emperor with shock as he couldn’t seem to comprehend what was happening. “No, you can’t, general. My family blood line has been a part of the Royal Army for centuries. I’ve only just become lieutenant, I’ve just earned the title. I am the youngest person in the dynasty to earn this title, something I worked hard for….your highness, please. I will bring nothing but disappointment if my mom was to hear about this. I cannot break my family’s tradition, Emperor, I beg of you,” Eunwoo’s voice laced with desperation as he begged on his knees in front of him.

“Get up off your knees,” Emperor Namjoon said looking down on the desperate man. “If I had not bumped into Y/n in the bamboo forest that day, how would have I figured out your plans? How could have I figured out the reasons why my brothers and I’s officials were dying off one by one, day by day mysteriousl? You convinced me to hire an executioner, which so happened to be your father, my late father’s Royal Lieuteneant. My government officials heads’ were cut off by the same sword the executioner uses, do you want to know why?” Eunwoo shook his head refusing to believe anything that was going on, mumbling, “This must be a dream….this can’t be true.” Emperor Namjoon had a sinister smile on his face, “Y/n was the one who had informed me. Had told me how she had witnessed it with her own eyes.” Eunwoo charged towards her direction, “She has no proof, your highness.” Emperor Namjoon signaled his men to take a hold on Eunwoo with a tilt of his head towards his direction. “I don’t need proof, Eunwoo. The executioner owns three swords, one used under the common of my older brother, Emperor Seokjin, and my younger brother, Emperor Taehyung,” Namjoon said as he walked around him looking into his eyes, smirking as he saw Eunwoo starting to cower in fear, averting his eyes to the ground.

“Now, I do know my brothers have executed very few people in the past. The people that were executed in this kingdom, were criminals who have committed crimes that were not worthy of justice. The executioner is to be commanded by the emperors…..and my lieutenant. I, however, have not ordered any executions my whole reign,” Namjoon took out his sword and threw it Eunwoo’s feet.

“Then how come my sword has stains of blood on it?”
