Your legs may be weary and your heart may be heavy and your questions may be many but whatever you are facing, the Lord always sees and he will always see to it and he will be seen. Calling where you live - provision - to name the place where you call home “the Lord will provide.” I found a short gap in the day to put up more lights outside and I contemplate what more I might do on the inside. Feeling overwhelmed by a busy week with an extra job but finding simple peace. Planning on the baking of gingerbread soon and reading different christmas stories with the kids. Many things in my home have felt like chaos but getting more settled and actually ready for our second Christmas in this home and I continually thank God for our home. (last year our home ended up being flooded just days after we moved in and days right before christmas, it was a weird chaos.) Every mountain that every Christian ever faces the Lord levels with sufficient grace the Lord will provide. Worry is believe gone wrong because you don’t believe that God will get it right. Believe that exhales because you believe that God‘s provision is everywhere like the air. With a sighing breath saying “I thought it would be easier” and God will come near it says “I will provide the way.“ God gives himself and we only need to slow long enough to unwrap the greatest gift with time in his word, in his presence, and time at his feet. Know how he loves you. Count his provision. His gifts of grace. Keep counting eucharisteo. https://youtu.be/wzJ-PyMVIcU A lamb “Abraham named that place The Lord Provides.” Genesis 22:14 . . . #advent #December #growth #change #jessetree #annvoskamp #bethegift #theultimategift #heart #jesus #cross #ram #provision #eucharisteo https://www.instagram.com/p/Cl5XldgucEL/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

« Je tiens pour un miracle de voir des choses très pauvres. Je ne me lasse pas de ces miracles, et suis bien incapable d’expliquer pourquoi parfois il n’y a rien, pourquoi parfois il y a tout. » Christian Bobin

Resurrection Sunday: He Is Alive!! “But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men suddenly stood near them in dazzling clothing; and as the women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, ‘Why do you seek the living One among the dead?  He is not here, but He has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again’” {Luke 24: 1-7 NASB}. #pipergreenwriter #PipersPen  #Theologyofthanksgiving #theologosministries #TheWord  #Father #Son  #HolySpirit #theology #apologetics  #jesusofnazareth #Christ  #ChristtheCreator  #prophecyfulfilled #kingofkings  #incarnation #preexistentchrist #Eucharist #Eucharisteo #redeemer   #HighPriest, #Godslove #Godbecameflesh #setthecaptivesfree   #writinglife  #BibleStudy #Bibleteacher #resurrection #Easter (at Centennial, Colorado) https://www.instagram.com/p/B-4wPl9DVZ-/?igshid=12dqldqsauzr5

grace - (n.) the free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings. Sipping from the cup of, no, diving into the river of grace today…. soaking Him in, believing that “Eucharisteo always, always, precedes the miracle.” -Ann Voskamp

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

THANKSGIVING, PRAISE AND WORSHIP
And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders…Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing (Revelation 5:11-12).
PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD
When the Bible talks about blessing the Lord, how do you bless the Lord? In Matthew 26:26, the Bible says, “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it….” How did Jesus bless the bread? The Apostle Paul, by the Spirit, explained it in 1 Corinthians 11:23-24 when he said, “For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks (Greek: eucharisteo),‌ he brake it….”
Matthew said Jesus took bread and blessed it; then Paul gets the revelation and tells us exactly how Jesus did it: it was by giving thanks! In essence, when we say, “Let’s bless the Lord,” it means to give Him thanks; you’re thanking Him for who He is, for what He’s done in your life and for all His mighty works.
This is what we do in worship. The Bible says, “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name” (Hebrews 13:15). Praise is giving thanks. In Revelation 11:16-17, we observe an offering of true worship; it says, “And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.” Hallelujah!
Live each day in an attitude of worship, an attitude of thanksgiving. This is the way to stay happy all the time, because you know that no matter the challenge you face, greater is He that’s in you than He that’s in the world. You always win. Praise God forevermore!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you, in the Name of Jesus! I live each day in an attitude of worship, an attitude of thanksgiving, because I know that no matter the situation, you’ve already given me the victory. I thank you for who you are, for what you’ve done in my life, and for all your mighty works! Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY:
1 Corinthians 14:16-17 NIV Otherwise when you are praising God in the Spirit, how can someone else, who is now put in the position of an inquirer,[a] say “Amen” to your thanksgiving, since they do not know what you are saying? 17 You are giving thanks well enough, but no one else is edified.
Hebrews 13:15 AMPC Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.
Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

No matter what the day holds, how the seasons unfold, God holds and enfolds “I am come to find thee, wherever thou mayest be. I will look for thee, till the eyes of my pity see thee, I will follow thee till the hand of my mercy reaches thee; and I will still hold thee till I bring thee back to myself, and reconcile thee to my heart.” (C. Spurgeon) “I’m hiding” Waverly often says. And I “look” for her. often I can see her. I was already there for her and although this is silly play for her, it’s an interesting picture of how we may be toward God. Where are we in our life? hiding from God as those in Eden at the fall? Lost at one tree and then we find ourselves at another. the manger. the cross. God is looking for you. refuses to give up on you. What places deep within your soul do you long for the Lord to seek out during this season of Advent? God is faithful and we can see the promise. Just come. Oh come let us adore Him. https://youtu.be/uxHCwJPFtqU His heart is already turned to you. “And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the [d]cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” . . . #advent #December #growth #change #jessetree #annvoskamp #bethegift #theultimategift #heart #jesus #cross #sin #thefall #searching #Bethlehem #bread #eucharisteo #joydare #thegreatestgift https://www.instagram.com/p/ClvKIsvOwSA/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

A beautiful reflection on the importance, joy and mystery of giving thanks by my amazing dad. He wrote this a few years back but I just reread it this Thanksgiving and it struck me anew.
“To “give thanks in all things” is an exceedingly perplexing command; but more than a command, it is truly a promise of hope. For by beginning to give thanks we begin to recognize that God’s nature is unchanging, and that his almighty love – which raised us with Christ from the dead and turns even evil to good – is present among us even in (especially in) our places of pain and brokenness. By giving thanks we cease to order the world ultimately around ourselves, our needs, our crises, our concerns, and our limited perspective within the present moment. We encounter the mystery of God’s presence among us, even when his almighty love seems hidden from sight (Col 3:3), and we begin to view our circumstances with hope in the permanent good he has in store for us. Therefore evil remains evil; good remains good. We dare to weep intensely, without despair; we rejoice profoundly, without shallow optimism (Romans 12:15).”
“We praise Thee for the grace by which Thou dost enable us so to bear the ills of the present world, that our souls are enriched by a fuller experience of Thy love, a more child-like dependence on Thy will, and a deeper sympathy with the suffering and the sad.” (Scottish Prayer Book)

I leaned out the window and the words "Acció de Gràcies", "Thanksgiving", showed up brightly between numerous turrets high above the city street, a message that thankfulness is not just one day of family and feasting, but a continual lifestyle of gratitude. #lasagradafamilia #gaudí #barcelona #acciondegracias #thanksgiving #eucharisteo #eucharist #gratitud (en Sagrada Familia de Gaudi, Barcelona, Spain)
