(gonna go off that thread we had where they met as kids when Etu was on the streets and Mikhails family was on the run and hiding in sweden.)

It's not very long time after they meet before Mikhails family opens their home as a place for Etu if he wishes. It's a tight space with all of them already, but they know how tough it is to be without a home, and they're not going to sit by and let a boy be without somewhere to go if they can help it.

Mikhail followed Etu after he joined the gang, acting as muscle and brute force when needed. But however he doesn't follow Etu to America when the gang falls. Not right away. His priority is to move his family away from sweden and any possible connection in case the people who took out their gang decide to go further with their bloodshed. But he held onto the Mann co flyer, and eventually crossed the pond himself.
