Every time a religious conservative says "Preaching about eternal damnation isn't inherently bad, it's only harmful when christians fail to relay the message in a godly way!" I lose a brain cell.

It's like saying eating radioactive waste isn't inherently bad for your health, it's just the way you consume it that's harmful.

You cannot tell someone they're going to suffer in Hell for all eternity if they don't obey a certain religion in a non manipulative way, just like you cannot tell someone they deserve to get their teeth kicked without being a bully.

The creature indeed seemed to understand what was said, though found himself conflicted. He looked to the right where the bystander stood, then to the left at the old manager about to exit the alley and turn the corner. The words were tempting, and he had already been hungry for payback...

His choice was made, as he darted off to the left, a red blur zeroing in on his prey before—

A growl came first, before a horrified scream filled the air, but there was no blood or sounds of actual struggle. The man was left shaking on his knees, unharmed - physically, at least. The fear-stricken look on his face told it all. He'll be haunted by nightmares and intense unease for a good while. It served him right.

Wasn't a great thing, but he couldn't deny that it was exhilarating, absolutely gratifying in the end.

The wolf turned back into the alley, still relishing the satisfaction - until he was once again stopped in his tracks, turquoise eyes landing on the eyewitness from before.

Shit, he actually forgot all about him.

He hadn't the chance to dart away, not that it mattered. Ramuda had seen and likely heard... Wouldn't be right to leave it be. But he only stood, staring Ramuda down as if waiting for him to make the first move. And the wrong one might just spell more trouble...
