PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE ; most people, even strangers, know about this
Major TV host of Eteria, and well known in Pokèmon Europe
Hosts several TV shows, most of which have something to do with gossips
Host and owner of the Battle Arena in Meraviglia
He appeared in a few small movies, mostly interpreting himself
He's often seen with his Tsareena, Anastasia
He works with two of the Battle Arena Champions, Sadie and Etna. Both were asked to work with him only after they earned that title.
He, Sadie and Etna call themselves "the Marvellous Trainers"; however, not many had the chance to personally test him in a serious battle
SEMI-PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE ; selected groups of people know about this
He wrecked a piece of the Arena during a non-title battle with Dante, which he lost. It was fixed post-haste
He's very interested in other Region's "battle gimmick", such as Megaevolution and Dynamaxing
He spent a few formative years in Kalos, working in the local news.
He's an incredibly skilled and powerful Trainer, often considered one, if not the strongest in his Region
PRIVATE KNOWLEDGE ; very few people know about this - in doubt, please ask!
He was considered as a Gym Leader by the Champion Dante, but he declined the offer
He was approached by Lysandre in his time in Kalos, and joined Flare for a short while. He left as soon as he noticed the vibes were off.
Most of his Pokèmon adopt a different Region's battle gimmick, but he uses them all only in fights he deems worthy a spectacle: Tsareena knows a Z-move, Vespiqueen has a Teracrystal, Gardevoir can Megaevolve and Ampharos can use the Gigantamax.

Rubika: Can you believe what Alzena said?
Rosaria: What did she say?
Rubika: She said "I hope you have a great time"
Eteria: Shut up! Can she be anymore rude?
Rosaria: Right?

Phoenix vs Rubika
Why? Because I have this headcanon about Phoenix being an agent working for Night Swam, which had to fight against some enemies she has. >>>
Tumblr media
As we are told, Rubika and her friends are not exactly superheroes, however I developed a headcanon explaining why they are neutral, and I had to involve Phoenix because she is one of my favorites :D
Rubika, Rosaria and Eteria were doing a great job as begginers inside the society of superheroes. But they wanted a bit more of action so they ended up "finding" a wooden box from Cyberfunk that had to be delivered at Eternyx. (they didn't told anything to their superior)
The box contained a few electronic components, however one of them seemed more special. The trio are still university students so they asked for permission to borrow a computer. Unfortunately, they discovered that it had not only all the coordinates of the danceverses and their protectors (Dancecity is not the only one with powerful coaches) but also that the package was for Cygnus, who worked for Night Swam so...
They tried to send quickly all the information to the other superheroes but Phoenix arrived.
Until now the trio never had a serious fight,at least for them, Phoenix wasn't taking any of that seriously. They were defeated one by one while trying to get the information to the Central given that Phoenix smashed to little pieces the computer.
Rubika was the last one left, even so she wouldn't surrender so easily. There was a moment when she caught his opponent by surprise. She saw her enemy laying down on the ground, for a moment Rubika was relieved until she noticed that the pendrive was gone.
Then Phoenix stranded up smiling with the electronic device in her hand, waved at her and walked away. Surprisingly for Phoenix a second blow came from his back sending her in the direction of one of the buildings. "Did anybody teach you to know when to give up?"
"That's not something we learn at the Central"
"Maybe you'll change your mind if I show you what those damn people have to deal with on a daily basis"
ANYWAYS, Rubika lost
Here is the sketch I did for the drawing :D

War in the Balkans: An Encyclopedic History from the Fall of the Ottoman Empire to the Breakup of Yugoslavia
This comprehensive encyclopedia is edited by the acclaimed historian Richard Hall and covers the general topic of war in the Balkans during the past two centuries. Some 60 leading scholars contributed well-examined snippets on the war in the Balkans culminating in a volume that is an excellent reference for a wide range of curious researchers.
Richard C. Hall's timely encyclopedia can help reporters and scholars investigate beyond a headline. The book features informative and expertly written essays with suggestions for further reading. As a leading scholar of Balkan history, Hall, Professor of History at Georgia Southwestern State University who has written multiple books on this topic, is an ideal editor for a work of such monumental scope ranging from the fall of the Ottoman Empire to the dissolution of Yugoslavia and beyond.
To produce nearly 240 entries covering 200 years requires assembling a team of researchers, which is precisely what this work achieved. Altogether, 62 expert contributors wrote entries spanning five categories: Events, Individuals, Organizations, Places, and Treaties.
The most impressive category of contributions is “Events," with 132 topics compromising 56% of all entries. Each war in the Balkans has many entries, and the encyclopedia dedicates five entries to the Balkan Wars of 1912-1913 alone. For these wars, there are separate “Causes” and “Consequences” essays that carefully consider the complex, intertwined factors leading to and resulting from the various Balkan conflicts. The "Events" category contains interesting and rather specific topics not commonly found elsewhere, such as a focus on the “Cold War in the Balkans” and “Ottoman Counterinsurgency Operations in the Balkans and Crete.” The scope of this category is so wide-ranging that it even includes entries covering the roles of Italy and Germany in the Balkans during the two World Wars.
The second category, “Individuals," is smaller, compromising only 24% of the total entries. This section includes an impressive array of people ranging from Ottoman Sultans to modern military leaders and politicians. Nonetheless, with only 56 entries on protagonists of Balkan conflicts, there is a little room for expansion and more coverage, especially with Greek leaders. For instance, figures such as Theodoros Kolokotronis and George Papadopoulos could have been fitting additions to the book's theme. Regardless, most major Balkan individuals are present with each entry on them following the customary high quality.
The remaining three categories — "Organizations," "Places," and "Treaties" — are understandably shorter in length. The category “Organizations” has 32 entries covering 14% of the total contributions. Topics such as the Balkan League, Black Hand, Kosovo Liberation Army, and UNPROFOR were not surprising inclusions. Yet, more concise topics like “Partisans in Albania” or “NATO in the Balkans” were surprising inclusions in a work of this kind. Once more, Greek topics could have been expanded to include groups such as the Philiki Eteria (Society of Friends) or IDEA (Ieros Desmos Ellinon Axiomatikon, or Holy Alliance of Greek Military Officers). The "Places" category could be expanded beyond its current 12 entries by including Cyprus. “Treaties," compromising only 1% of the entries with only 4 topics, could have been a more expansive, general category that included topics like Greater Serbia, Megali Idea, religion, ethnic cleansing, war crimes, and drug trafficking among other issues so intertwined with the war in the Balkans.
Richard Hall’s War in the Balkans is a wonderful addition to the ABC-CLIO/Greenwood Reference collection as its high-quality, accessible, and fascinating articles along with numerous illustrations and maps make the book a must-have for scholars and history enthusiasts alike. In today's digital era, this volume might be dismissed in favor of Wikipedia or other online sources. However, the depth of analysis achieved, along with the detailed and concise topics, is not easily found in traditional encyclopedias. This encyclopedia also offers much more than what students have grown accustomed to in the age before the internet. War in the Balkans is one of those books that hardly sits on a shelf for long.

as someone who is very much obsessed with this map, i appreciate the time and effort it took to make all these headcanons for them!! i love the idea that they're a magical girl-esque group. i'd like to think they're a rebellious kinda group who does a lot of vigilante work, connecting them to the song WANNABE which is about straying from societal norms to be their authentic selves.
I'd love to hear more about Rosaria and her cursed powers! Also the supervillain too, I wonder why she said no?
Love these headcanons!!
Some headcanons about the Wannabe coaches!
Tumblr media
1. They’re high schoolers by day, superheroes by…well, clearly it’s not night in the background, but they’re superheroes by…afternoon I guess. But they’re teenage superheroes, like Sailor Moon but maybe a bit older.
 2. Rubika was initially the founder of the group and that’s why she lowkey appears to be the leader.
3. One of Rubika’s powers was sensing when other people had superpowers, so on the first day of school one year, she tracked down the other two like “hey wanna join my girl group” and they were both like “yes”. Although, there was one other girl that said no…
4. None of them actually used their superpowers for much of anything, they were pretty much just a regular friend group..until one day, a new threat attacks Dancity. A supervillain, who appears to be a young teenager. Then they were like “well shit I guess maybe we should actually use these powers for something huh”.
5. Predictably, the one girl who said no to joining the girl group is the supervillain, although they take a long time to figure that out because, well, they’re children.
6. Rosaria’s power involves singing and dancing. Her voice is magic and can make stuff shatter/explode/etc., hence why she’s seen with a microphone at the intro, but her dancing can also shoot out Unspecified Magical Force with her arms and legs.
7. Rubika’s power involves rubik’s cubes, but it’s deeper than that. Moving the rubik’s cubes into different combinations gives them different powers! She doesn’t NEED the rubik’s cubes to do magic, particularly since magic is how she summons them, but something about the process makes it more effective.
8. Eteria’s power is like water, based on the bubble-looking things in the background. Maybe ice by extension too, since ice is just water but very very cold?
9. Rosaria was cursed with her powers (but has since learned to control them so they’re not a curse anymore), Rubika was born with them (one or both of her parents might be magical too?), and Eteria was the victim of some kind of magical Accident™️
10. None of them quite look like that in their civilian forms. They do a magical-girl esque transformation not JUST to hide their identity, but to hide their AGE. The transformation messes with their hair and gives them makeup to look just a little bit older, at least to people who are only taking a brief glance, because if any of the other heroes realized they were just a bunch of teenage girls, they might try to interfere, which is the last thing any of them want! After all, they’re 15, they know EVERYTHING. /s
