#estella's brilliance
Text
Estella's Brilliance Psalm
Waking up in a vast void
The only thing she sees is complete darkness
Much like the atmosphere, it is dark and bleak
The only color she sees is pitch-black
No light in sight, Just darkness all around
Suddenly a brilliant light appears
Brighten up the pitch-black vacuum
Stunning her into silence
Facing a glowing curtain of luminescence
She couldn't believe what she was seeing
A brilliant light approached her
She didn't know what to do
Fight it? Or Embrace it?
She decided to embrace the glow and allowed herself to be taken by the light
Taking her to a different place that she had never been to before
To a world where she can truly embrace her true brilliance
Finally, she can be free from the shackles of tribulations and adversities
She releases the brilliance within her
By her own volition
Starlight spills over to the diamond-coated view
The stardust follows the breeze, and the stars pursue an illusion
The brilliant lights of the stars become more diamond-like
As she entered into the starlit hour in a new era
Where everything is luminous and brilliant
She walks into the brilliant flicker
She can truly see it now
She truly accepted it with open arms
A brilliant light begins to engulf her
She closes her eyes and feels a warm sensation surging through her
Everything to her seemed to be in a brilliant starry stagnation
The starlit purification has commenced
The bright emanation makes her tattered clothes disappear
The brilliance starts to strip her bare
Her body began to brightly resonate
Shows her vulnerability and baring her soul to the soft glow of luminescence
Her exposed silhouette is covered in stars' glimmers
Alleviating away the pain and misery, and trauma that she suffered
Erasing any memories of her past
Wiping it all clean from her psyche and resetting it all as an anew
Another life has been reborn in a pristine body of a youth
Another psyche has been reset in the impressionable mind of an adolescence
Her skin began to return to its original fair complexion
Her cuts and bruises have completely vanished
Clearing her skin from any blemishes and flaws
Leaving her entirely pure and pristine
Her hair began to change its color from a dull and monotonous brown to a vibrant crimson
Swaying in its gentle caresses
Her eyes began to change their color from lifeless and monotonous teal to a brilliant and deep sapphire blue
Glistens with a tinge of the starlit shimmer
This is a story of a once tormented and damaged young girl who embraced her true brilliance and carried it throughout
She became a lore in itself
She conveyed to use the readers, In her own words
"Wow, That's astounding, seeing the lens of the world in a brilliant view... I have to admit that it makes me bloom with excitement and anticipation!"

10 Best Movies of 2021 (So Far)
https://ift.tt/3iTu7sI
Can you ever really go home? Millions of cinephiles are likely asking themselves this as summer 2021 winds down with doubt again lingering over their favorite movie houses. For a time, theaters were once again open for big business in the U.S. and UK, and remain so in at least one of those venues. But box office reports paint an ambiguous future, and many casual moviegoers clearly remain reluctant about returning to the cinema.
Nonetheless, it’s still good to be back in those old familiar places, as well as to have an ever expanding list of options to discover on streaming. Compared to last year, 2021 feels like a sunny balm, particularly now that the heaviest hitters and biggest surprises of July and the dog days of summer have landed.
It’s why we typically save our “mid-year” ranking for that deep breath between the end of summer escapism and the awards season push that begins in September. There have been some real treats on the 2021 calendar, so whether you’ve seen the entire list below or are looking for something you missed, sit back and enjoy a collection of the best movies of 2021. So far.
10. Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar
Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo wrote and star in this bizarre, brightly colored, and utterly joyful comedy that defies expectations throughout. The two are middle-aged best friends who take their very first vacation to Florida together to visit the idyllic Vista del Mar.
But it’s not all cocktails and banana boats. Behind the scenes, super villain Sharon Fisherman (also played by Wiig) has an evil plan for the resort. With shades of the best of Austin Powers (though far more sincere) Barb and Star is a good natured friendship comedy through a surrealist lens, which could scratch an itch for anyone missing a bit of beach time this year.
9. Psycho Goreman
Unexpected gem of the year surely goes to this utterly bonkers grue-filled cosmic horror B-movie which is also really funny and kind of sweet at the same time. It follows annoying little shit Mimi (Nita-Josee Hanna) who bullies her brother Luke (Owen Myre) mercilessly. After defeating him in a game of “crazy ball,” Luke’s punishment is to dig his own grave (!) but instead the pair discover an artifact which turns out to be the key to controlling a universal evil imprisoned on earth for trying to destroy the galaxy.
So of course Mimi names him Psycho Goreman and forces him to hang out with her family and friends despite his insistence that he will bathe in their blood the moment he is freed. From Steven Kostanski, the director of 2016’s The Void, Psycho Goreman is a spot-on blend of brutal slaying and hardcore gore, a cosmic plotline involving an alien council and a wholesome family comedy. An unexpected delight.
8. Cruella
Emma Stone is a punk rock designer in the mold of Vivienne Westwood in this vibrant London-set comedy, which is on paper a prequel to 101 Dalmatians. But in reality, take it as a standalone and you’ll have way more fun.
Up and coming fashionista Estella manages to impress one of the leading designers The Baroness (Emma Thompson) and secures a coveted job at her world famous fashion house. But when Estella discovers a dark secret relating to her own past, she takes on the outrageous alter-ego Cruella to destroy The Baroness by out-fashioning her at every opportunity.
Packed with banging tunes and great dresses, Cruella is a high energy spectacle but it’s the sparring of the two Emmas that brings the real electricity. Forget any future she might have as a puppy killer, in her own film, Cruella is a legend.
7. In the Heights
The sunniest film to hit theaters this season, Jon M. Chu’s In the Heights was as sugary sweet as the frozen Piragua Lin-Manuel Miranda hocks around this movie’s block. Based on the Hamilton composer’s earlier Tony winning musical, the picture was the rare thing: a Broadway adaptation that actually soars as high as its stage production and (rarer still) the first Hollywood blockbuster with an all-Latinx cast.

In the Heights: You Need to Stay for Post-Credits Scene
By David Crow
The film came under fair criticism on social media for not being as inclusive as it could be, but that shouldn’t be the last word on such a big-hearted achievement. From the buoyant performances which have already opened doors for Anthony Ramos and Leslie Grace’s immense charisma, to the Latin, salsa, and hip-hop infused melodies which celebrate a culture long left out of the Hollywood image of American life, In the Heights is a jubilant celebration. There really hasn’t been a giddier time at the multiplex this year. Plus, those “96,000” and “Carnaval del Barrio” sequences really are fire.
6. Zola
Based on a “true” story which was told via a series of tweets posted back in 2015 (and the subsequent Rolling Stone article that brought the tale to prominence), Zola is a stranger-than-fiction saga seen through the lens of social media. An ultra contemporary, experimental, low budget comedy-thriller with a backdrop of abuse and sex trafficking, the film is as willfully uncomfortable to watch as it is massively entertaining.
From the jump, Zola (Taylour Paige) is a Detroit waitress and part time exotic dancer who meets a customer named Stefani (Riley Keough) and agrees to take a trip with her to Florida to hit up strip clubs where Stefani promises they’ll make a lot of money. With them are Stefani’s feckless boyfriend (Succession’s Nicholas Braun) and her obviously dodgy roommate. Sometimes told through spoken tweets with switches in perspective, this marks director Janicza Bravo as a compelling new voice, and her cast of leads as nothing short of captivating.
How much of what you’re watching actually happened? Well, that’s the elusive quality of social media…
5. Judas and the Black Messiah
Fred Hampton was murdered with the consent and planning of law enforcement at both federal and local jurisdiction levels. That Judas and the Black Messiah made this common knowledge would be reason enough for consideration. Yet that director Shaka King tells Hampton’s story so thrillingly here elevates his film into one of the most compelling crime dramas in years—only with the FBI’s illegal COINTELPRO program being the primary criminal element.
Told from the perspective of the man who spied on the Black Panthers and eventually facilitated the raid that took Hampton’s life, Judas radiates a despairing quality which somehow can still feel electrifying whenever Daniel Kaluuya’s powerhouse performance takes center stage. Which is pretty much any time the Black Panther chairman takes the microphone. Kaluuya deserved his Oscar, but LaKeith Stanfield’s paranoid turn as Bill O’Neal, the poor bastard coerced into being a snitch while still a kid, is what gets under your skin and walks beside you after the credits roll.
4. Pig
Are there really folks out there who wandered into a screening of Pig and assumed they’d get the Nicolas Cage knockoff of John Wick? I like to think so, just as I love to imagine what they said to each other afterward. To be sure, Michael Sarnoski’s Pig sounds on paper like something in that ballpark: Cage plays a hermit living in self-exile from his past life when ruffians steal his beloved… truffle pig. In response, he comes down from the mountain, ready to reengage with the old ways.

The Suicide Squad Character Guide, Easter Eggs, and DCEU References

Yet when you realize those old ways involve being the greatest chef in his state—and reengagement means partaking in a fight club that’s far more pitiful than it sounds and simply cooking gourmet meals—the more apparent it is that this is a sophisticated, nuanced allegory about grief and self-identity. Anchored by Cage’s best performance in a long, long time, Pig is a gentle and revelatory experience that slowly unpacks its brilliance piece by piece, vignette by vignette. For those coming in wanting fast food, this probably will be a disappointment. For all others, it’s a resplendent five course meal.
3. The Suicide Squad
For once the marketing wasn’t kidding. Writer-director James Gunn does have a horribly beautiful mind, and we at last get to see it fully unleashed on a superhero property. Yes, the filmmaker made many cry over a CGI tree and talking raccoon in the Guardians of the Galaxy films, but perhaps not since Logan has a storyteller seen such free rein over valuable studio IP. Gunn didn’t waste it.
The Suicide Squad plays very much like the men and women on a mission ‘60s capers its director grew up on, but that structure is channelled here through a filthy and deranged sensibility. How else can you describe a picture that makes you want to cuddle a land shark who just swallowed a bystander whole? The Suicide Squad does that and more while providing a showcase for sure things like Margot Robbie’s irresistible Harley Quinn, as well as the dregs and rejects of DC Comics who ultimately steal the movie: David Dastmalchian’s Polka-Dot Man and Daniela Melchior’s Ratcatcher 2, namely. Box office be damned, this is one of the best superhero films ever made and will be a classic in the years to come.
2. The Green Knight
When you hear the name “King Arthur,” certain elements spring to mind. It’s one of those classic properties which have been adapted, exploited, and parodied with killer rabbits ad nauseam. Even so, it’s safe to say you’ve never seen the lore become as foreboding and startling as this. Reimagined through the gaze of writer-director David Lowery, the 14th century poem Sir Gawain and the Green Knight at last takes on a trippy and witchy connotation. An interpretation that pulls as much from medieval paganism as it does obsessions with chivalry and Christian virtue, The Green Knight successfully reinvents its Arthurian quest into a journey toward certain doom.

The Green Knight Ending Explained
By David Crow
As the central figure on that mission, Dev Patel reveals superstar charisma and the ability to completely command the screen. His version of Gawain, the wayward nephew of King Arthur (Sean Harris), is vain, cowardly, selfish, and somehow wholly sympathetic as he searches for Ralph Ineson’s Green Knight: a godlike creature who has promised to behead Gawain when they meet again. Through it all, Lowery and company craft a sumptuous world that in every shot looks like the most transportive Dungeons and Dragons cover you’ve ever seen. The atmosphere is oppressively brooding, and it will not appeal to everyone. Yet like the very best films released by indie distributor A24, there is a touch of mad genius at work here that demands to be seen and then seen again.
1. Inside
As arguably the best piece of art to come out of 2020’s torments, Bo Burnham’s Inside was not marketed or even conceived of as a film. Nevertheless, it slowly transformed into one throughout its months-long production process, which forewent mere sketch humor to reveal an undeniably cinematic, experimental, and ultimately bleak heart. In other words, it’s a perfect distillation of how all mediums are blurring into that loathsome word: content.
Through heavily edited, conceived, and revised set-pieces, the film’s director, star, writer, and composer lays his insecurities and vanities bare. Filmed inside Burnham’s home studio space, Inside is the result of the young filmmaker behind Eighth Grade becoming acutely aware he’s regressed to his early resources as a teenage YouTube star: a camera, a music keyboard, some synth programs, and hours of idle boredom.
Within those numbing hours, Burnham built something both reflective and suspicious about technology, the internet culture which gave him his career, and even his own self-image. With a catchy songbook of synthesized bangers, many of which echo ’80s pop ballads, Burnham crystallizes better than any typical three-act film the anxieties and delirium of a year spent mostly at home. He also provides a scathing critique of how our concepts of communication and identity have been co-opted and undermined by tech companies whose products incite division for profit—all while still releasing his film on the biggest streaming platform in the world. It’s a challenging, self-loathing, and haunted piece of work that will invariably become a time capsule for its moment in history.
Runner ups that almost made the cut: Annette, Black Widow, Coda, Mr. Soul, No Sudden Move, Raya and the Last Dragon, Rita Moreno: Just a Girl Who Decided to Go For It, The Sparks Brothers, Val.

Toil and Trouble (Part 1)
Getting a bridge open to Sha’kaar had been no easy task. When Starscream had researched the coordinates to which Estella had accidentally been sent, the brief description available of the planet had been nary more than three sentences. An explorer had charted it not so long ago, and had not stayed overly long, reportedly due to the overt hostility of the natives.
When at last the space bridge was in proper condition to be used to transport them, Starscream feared he might be too late. Estella would not fair well on a primitive world alone, unarmed and ill-equipped against a species three times her size.
Starscream had arrived on the desert planet armed to the teeth, Thundercracker in tow with more sobriety of mind than his younger brother. “You can’t just start shooting natives, Star...” he admonished, already kicking with disgust at the sand ground into his thrusters, “Is there not a law among explorers not to interfere with or...otherwise exterminate the populace of foreign planets?”
“This is different! These filthy savages have my daughter!” He adjusted his null rays, “For all I know, they could be...could be doing...” he whimpered and shuttered his optics, “If they’re violated her, it is your fault.”
“You had no right to cage her,” Thundercracker retorted sharply, “Intelligent creatures cannot be kept as pets. There is no justification.”
“I made her! I can do whatever I want with her!” Starscream turned the barrel of his gun to his brother, “She is my daughter.”
The elder seeker grimaced and lowered his gaze, “...I am sorry you could not have children of your own, Star. Truly, I am sorry. But you have allowed your desperation to warp your mind...That creature is not your child. It is unnatural for you to believe so. All the same,” he amended before the other argue, “We will retrieve her and return to Vos...Though I still believe you should put her back on the planet you plucked her from and leave her there.”
“I am not interested in anything you have to say.” Starscream lowered his weapon and ingnited his thrusters, “Whatever you thought was right, you may have inadvertently gotten her killed. I am world weary, and she is my only source of joy. If she is dead...” He chocked, not wanting to accept the possibility, “I will hate you all the rest of days, however they are shortened by the loss of her. Whatever you accuse me of doing, I love my daughter. Everything I did for her was done out of love.”
Thundercracker watched woefully as the other seeker took to the skies before following after him. His poor, foolish, ill-fated brother... All his intelligence, and yet he still had gained no wisdom. His brilliance had only made him mad...

Smokey brand Movie Reviews: Sympathy for the DeVille
I’ve been hearing a ton of mixed sh*t about Cruella. Everything official coming out about this thing has been incredibly positive. Great cinema score, decent critic reviews, high marks in the user score of Metacritic; All around okay. Then there’s the other side of that coin, the black to the white if you will. Like, holy sh*t, is there SO much hate for this movie, man! So much controversy, so much malice. I kind of turned me off for a while but then my curiosity got the better of me. I love Emma Stone. I knew she was going to be something special way back in Superbad. Outside of Easy A, which i absolutely adore, she’s never had a proper vehicle for herself. Cruella is definitely that opportunity and, being a Disney product, is prime for franchising so i decided to see it. Is Emma enough to save this thing? Does it need to be saved in the first place? Will i be as disappointed with this as i was with Army of the Dead and Maleficent II? Let’s find out together!
The Great
Emma Stone was outstanding as Cruella. I loved her take on the character and considering it’s one of the few in Disney’s roster with several, unique, interpretations, that’s saying a lot. Even as Estella Miller, Stone never dulls the edge. She IS Cruella through-and-trough. Unapologetic. Unrepentant. Irredeemable. Absolutely f*cking fabulous. I never thought I'd like a Cruella more than Glenn Close, and I'm definitely not saying that right now, but Emma comes REAL close. So close, in fact, after a few more viewings, she might overtake the Legend, herself. Speaking of legends...
Can we just recognize the effortlessly incandescent brilliance that is Emma Thompson. She is an EXCEPTIONAL talent, one of my absolute favorites, and brings all of that charisma, confidence, swagger, and snark, to her Baroness. If Stone is a young, brash, inexperienced Cruella, then Thompson’s Baroness is everything she will become and more. Like, holy sh*t, some of the things this women delvers with such dry conviction? To so effortlessly destroy someone with just a few words? If talent was a f*cking superpower, then Emma Thompson turns her Baroness into Wonder Woman.
The dresses in this are stunning. I’m into a fashion guy, i fin the entire industry to be ridiculous, but even i had to recognize the artistry in those garments and the industry around them. I’m not going to get super deep into which ones i particular took to but that first window Cruella drunkenly threw together? That was exceptional. And it only gets better from there. Straight Glam Punk Anarchy, all day!
The Good
I specifically mentioned the dresses in the Great part of this review because they definitely deserved their own mention bu the costuming in this film, overall, was just plain inspired. Whenever anyone needed to put their best foot forward, they f*cking did. The dresses were a standout but even the suits the dudes wore had that high fashion energy. Hell, the casual sh*t Cruella threw together in that attic made me stop and stare. Again, not a fashion guy, but i would be surprised if this flick didn’t get at least an Oscar nomination for costuming. It would definitely be well earned.
Speaking of looks, this movie is just plain bewitching. Like, the cinematography and shot composition are all super keen on to the eye. Calling it a feat would be cliche but, i mean, it really is a feast for the eye. I don’t know that the period entire of this flick really shines through all that bright but regardless, the aesthetics, the feel of the time, definitely resonates.
This soundtrack is something special. Disney definitely shelled out, for sure. It’s all period accurate, i think, and fits the tone of each scene perfectly. There is a lot of music in this flick but, unlike Suicide Squad, it’s never intrusive. It’s never there to distract. It’s all organic and feels necessary to the vision on screen. I am  strong proponent of having the right soundtrack to accompany your narrative because, while both can solicit strong emotional resonance in the audience, together they can deliver a downright religious experience. Cruella doesn’t go that far but that music and those scenes go together like peanut butter and jelly.
The overall plot is okay but suffers from Joker syndrome. What i mean is that the principal performances from the two Emmas, outshine what i imagine was a pretty cliche script. A lot of the “revelations” were not. I could see them from a mile away, especially the big one. That one was spoiled super early on if you’re paying attention and have even a minuscule understanding of Us cinematic plotting. That said, and i can’t stress this enough, the Emmas absolutely uplift this rather pedestrian material and make this movie a real experience even if you have seen this film hundreds of times.
As great as the two Emmas were in their respective roles, the supporting cast never falters. They were all excellent. Most of them. I’ll get to the two which kind of sh*t the bed but everyone else was exceptional. Emily Beecham as the saccharine and doomed Catherine Miller was great while Mark Strong is always just Mark Strong. I love that guy. The cats that portray adult Horace and Jasper, Paul Walter Hauser and Joel Fry, respective, really get into their embellished parts. I really enjoyed John McCrea’s Jasper, even if the fact that both he and his character are gay, kind of outshines the performance. Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Jamie Demetriou, and Kayvan Novak. I have to give special mention to the actress who played young Cruella, Tipper Seifert-Cleveland, because she was a delight. Child actors rarely deliver great performances but Tipper did a decent job, especially considering the company.
The Meh
This movie is long and i can see people getting frustrated with the run time. I, personally, didn’t see any place that could have been trimmed to make the narrative flow better but to don’t watch movies like regular people so i can definitely be insulated to it. Like, the pacing is methodical. This movie wants to tell you a story and it tells you in as much time as it needs to do it.
The two kids who play young Horace and Jasper are bad. They’re bad! Especially when put up against the young woman who plays little Cruella. Like, sh*t, is the contrast is sobering! F*cking woof!
That mid credits scene is dumb and unnecessary It kind of f*cks up the continuity for 101 Dalmatians. That said, in the context of this film, it’s sweet. If you take this as kind of an alternate telling of that story, it’s not so intrusive.
The Verdict
God help me, i really loved this movie! I did not expect to come out of this thing wanting more. I did not have any faith in another Live action Disney remake after the disappointment of the Lion King. I dreaded an another villain redemption after Maleficent II. I liked what i saw in the trailers and the posters were f*cking brilliant but then i heard from so many cats that the movie was just so-so. It was not. Cruella is easily the best of these films. It kind of sh*ts all over the first Maleficent which, up to this point, was the strongest of the Disney gamble. Emma Stone carries this film, absolutely living her version of Cruella which is unique to her. This Glam Punk Psychopath, cut from the same cloth as Ledger’s Joker, just paints the time black, white, and red, looking absolutely stunning while doing it. In fact, everything looks stunning in this film, It’s f*cking gorgeous and never, ever, let’s you down visually. I can gush about so much in this, the music, the costumes, the sets, the fashion; There’s so much to like but, outside of Emma Stone, the best thing about this flick is Emma Thompson. Holy sh*t, she is menacing as the Baroness. Just, f*cking see the movie. If you feel brave, definitely recommend checking it out in a theater. This thing would be amazing on the big screen. Just, you know, understand that people are going to be absolute assholes about it. The stories coming out of these showings are almost as entertaining as the movie, itself!

I love Cruella, though something seems out of place (honestly the dogs, but they are very cute anyway) it is a very good movie and enjoyable experience. I just love all those costumes, they are soo good. After I watched it, I wonder how unhealthy 3w4 manage to charm people so well and get them to work for them. I have to admit. It's really hard to watch Baroness bulging up her head by saying everything, all the works are hers (directly and indirectly.) Like everything in her Fashion House is her brilliance alone. It obviously is not and it's the collective hard work of everyone and she's cruel to her subordinates too.
Well, the Baroness IS a psychopath (which is why she's cruel, callous, and unfeeling)... but you raise a good point. I felt torn between 3 and 8 for her, because a lot of her behaviors are unhealthy 8, but she image-controls like a 3. She may be an 8 with a 3 fix, since she seems to use aggression and force and be unconsciously unaware of adapting to survive, unlike Estella. Estella puts her head down and cons the Baroness, working against her from within like a 3 would, but the Baroness is fairly straightforward in her bragging.
(btw, Estella's Te is like magic to me. When I watched the movie and see her planned things so good and get so much done in so little time I thought "what magic is that?!" salute to all EFPs!)
Aww, yas. EFPs get a lot done once they decide on a plan! Twas lovely to behold!
So my questions is: in this kind of situation, why unhealthy 3w4 can advance their career so easily. Wouldn't people (including higher ups) be put off by their cockiness? I've heard somewhere that the best kind of leaders is unassuming one. They usually don't boast around their brilliance and just get things done. I can see that (being humble and genuinely pleasant) but someone like Baroness (or even Cruella at some point) would be a respectable leader.
It's more about being an ETJ, to be honest. Te-doms know how the world works and how to get things done in it, and them being super-competent and super-efficient goes a long way in a world that values earning money and stable bottom lines. ETJs know how to get things done, streamline them for efficiency, and turn a high profit. Think about Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada. An absolute bitch to work with or for, but she's so competent and attuned to what is fashionable that people up with her and cater to her every whim, because she exudes power. You are correct, in that the BEST kind of leaders are modest and unassuming, but that doesn't mean everyone who SUCCEEDS is that way. There are plenty of obnoxious, much-loathed jackasses who make a ton of money or become famous, because they won't stand for anything less. But they will have no loyalty from anyone around them and few people who like them much. Miranda screwed over one of her longest term partners to stay in control of her magazine.
Another thing is I'm wondering whether I have 2 fix or 3 fix. I assume 3 fix because, I bleed into people easily and am rather adaptable. But, lately I've noticed that I can't stop myself from helping people in some ways (even someone I don't like.) Wouldn't that relate more to 2 fix? The motivation I want to help everyone is because it's just right to do that. People should help each other and that's it, I get in and help, no more question no second guessing. I don't know if this is trifix related though.
Well, what other fixes do you have? Do have a 9 which could account for the 'bleeding into people' and being adaptable? Could it be 9 merging instead of 3 adapting? Being adaptable can also be high Ne/Se/Fe/Extroversion (go with the flow, respond to things as they happen, stay open to changing as you go). Your described behavior does indicate a 2 fix -- 2s are so in tune with other people and their needs that their automatic thought is "I should help" even if it has little to do with them or is someone they do not know. 3s do not think about those things -- like a 2 who shows up with a hostess gift to a party and the 3 who goes, "Damn, I should have thought of that," not the gift itself, but the GESTURE which draws positive attention and/or is culturally acceptable. For a 3, it's about comparisons and outer measures, and for a 2 it's "this is what they'd like/they need." A 3 goes to the party and mingles, a 2 winds up helping them clear away the dishes or putting champagne glasses to one side so no one breaks one.
2s and 3s are both very aware of how things LOOK, so they can get confused for each other as fixes. The difference is automatic helping (2) vs. wanting to draw positive attention to oneself by "shining" (3).

Text Message = Lovely Night (Luke x Jamie)
Jamie: Hey Luke, do you want to hang out with me on the balcony?
Luke: I can't because I'm still playing Estella's Brilliance
Jamie: Please Luke!
Luke: {Sighs} Okay? What time?
Jamie: 12 O'clock at midnight
Luke: 12! Seriously pretty boy
Jamie: Yes I'm serious, and please don't call me pretty boy it's fucking annoying okay! Get ready!
Luke: Geez pretty boy you are "Pretty" upset… Okay, I will get myself ready…
{Notification Bell Chiming}
Jamie: Luke! Are you still up?
Luke: Yeah I'm still up!
Jamie: Okay, Just go to your balcony
Luke: Why?
Jamie: Because I'm here!
Luke: Pretty boy?!
Jamie: Yes! Damn it Luke! Again don't call me Pretty Boy!
Luke: Okay Pretty Boy! I'm here!
Jamie: Come out then! Meathead!
Luke: Geez pretty boy, you are waiting for me huh?
Jamie: Damn it, Luke Just kiss me already!
When Luke came out of his bedroom to see his boyfriend, standing there with a smirk on his face and he begin to excitedly run up to him and begin to hug him and kiss him on his lips and even have a battle with their tongues for dominance, while they are entwining their tongues in a sensual mock battle, Jamie goes lower to Luke's firm buttocks and squeeze it which cause him to lose the mock match. They stopped for a few seconds to look into each other's eyes and even softly caressing their firm buttocks and even grinding on each other's clothed erect penis and begin to passionately kiss each other's lips, slowly walking back to Luke's bedroom while still passionately kissing.
{Kissing}
{Caressing}
"Jamie, Thank you for coming to see me (looking at Jamie's chocolate brown orbs)" Luke replied with a sincere smile on his face.
"Luke, I always love to be with you (looking up at Luke's ocean blue orbs) Well, I don't want to waste any time here" Jamie replied with a smile on his face.
"Oh yeah! Sorry about that! (Kisses him)" Luke sheepishly replied.
When they get to the bedroom they start to take their clothes and shoes off of each other, and Luke covers the latter's smaller body and begins to kiss him on his exposed neck which leaves trails of saliva and tiny bite marks on Jamie's neck and while Luke was kissing on Jamie's lips and neck.
When Luke was done kissing him on his neck, Suddenly Jamie turned the tables on him, did a reversal on Luke and pinned him to the bed, kissed him on his lips, and began to frottage on Luke's erect cock.
While Jamie was grinding on him, Luke used two fingers to enter his anal entrance to make it open for penetration, at first Jamie just hissed at the intrusion and even winced in pain but he felt the amazing feeling of Luke's fingers.
"Luke......!, Please I can't take this intense friction (being breathless) Please fuck me!" Jamie softly pleaded.
{Laughs}
"Oh my! Pretty boy, you're desperate for my cock huh?" Luke asked with a smirk on his face.
"Please......!, I can't take this anymore! (being breathless)" Jamie softly pleaded.
"Alright then! But I must warn you (looking at Jamie) It's going to hurt (putting two of his fingers to make a scissoring emotion to Jamie's anal entrance)" Luke replied with a smirk on his face.
"I won't mind it Ahhhhh! (being entered)" Jamie softly moaned.
When Luke finished fingering Jamie in preparation for the penetration, he put a condom on his cock and lubricated his cock and even Jamie's anal entrance.
Luke begins to slowly thrust into Jamie's tight entrance and began to begin softly moaning with each slow thrust Luke leaned over to kiss Jamie on the lips, and while he was primal and senselessly thrusting into him, Jamie was kissing him and having a mocked and sensual battle with their tongues until Luke reached to his completion inside of Jamie and sloppy and sweet kisses him on his lips.
"Fuck!, baby I'm coming! (being strained)" Luke shouted.
"Aaaaaahhhh! (sensual moaning)" Jamie moaned loudly.
"Aaaaaaahhhhh! (blowing his cum over Jamie's entrance)" Luke moaned loudly.
"Luke, I love you (being breathless)" Jamie replied with a smile.
"I love you too, Jamie (leaning towards him to kiss him)" Luke replied with a smile.

--I am Complete--
Once upon a time, when Estella was still little more than a teenager, her creator had told her he was making her a companion. She remembered waiting anxiously for cycles and cycles, anticipating the day he would finally be finished. She filled the time drawing pictures, imagining what he would look like. She had rehearsed endless imagined conversations they could have, written scripts for herself on what she could say that would amuse him. All the time she had waited, she hadn’t gotten any real work done, to preoccupied with the thrill of imagining what it would be like to have a real friend for the first time...
When at last she was allowed to see him, a tall, lanky boy with heated green eyes, they had only been permitted fifteen minutes together. She smiled at him and said ‘Hello!’. The boy had not answered, only stared at her, his gaze intense and bright.
‘My name is Estella’, she told him, ‘May I know your name?’
The boy had approached her then, reaching out and clasping her hand, ‘Erick.’
Starscream was quick to snatch him from the room then. After that, she saw him only six times more, then never again.
Estella’s throat was tight, her fingers drumming against her collarbone. Tears slipped down her reddened cheeks as her head bobbed back and forth in disbelief.
Erick craned his head down to see her better; a strain for a man so tall, “Why do you weep, Estella? You are not displeased to see me..” His shoulders bunched self consciously and he quickly raked a hand through his mess of hair.
“Oh no!” She urged, horrified that she had offended him, “Erick, I am very, very glad to see you! I am sorry,” she choked out, wiping her face readily, “Only... I had begun to think that you had only been in my imagination... A friend I made up in my mind to ease my loneliness...” She closed her eyes and brushed her hair back, “Creator never spoke of you...I could not find any of your information in the consul... You must think that I abandoned you...” She sobbed  and looked up at him in misery, “Oh Erick, I am so sorry... How you must hate me...”
Relieved by her response, he exhaled and knelt before her, “You had no way of knowing I was still alive. The seeker is clever in his ways of deceit and illusion. I am sure he wanted you to think I was never real.” He took her smaller hands in his, and she readily clasped his fingers. He nearly wept with joy at her touch, “Never could I hate you, Estella...I dreamt of nothing but you, all these years... I have been so lonely...”
His heart skipped in ecstasy as she lunged forward and embraced him tightly, “I cannot imagine what you have suffered...I promise, I will make amends.” She held him about his neck, “I promise, I shall---”
“You have nothing to amend,” he assured, locking his own thick, powerful arms around her, feeling that any moment he would die from happiness, “We are together, at length. Never again will I allow us to be separated.” He gestured proudly to the ship around him, “I have grown not only in stature, but in strength and knowledge. This vessel is but my cruiser. My true ship is anchored in the next star system. When we reach it, I will show you the extent of my work. You need never fear anything again, Estella. My power is great enough to protect you from any and all.”
Estella’s optics glittered eagerly, “You have built your own ship? Even I have never endeavored such an undertaking! I cannot wait to see the brilliance of your work, brother!”
Erick froze, every muscle suddenly tense, his optics dark with horror, “...brother?” He pulled her tighter against him, staring at her intently, “Estella...we are not brother and sister.”
Not understanding him, she chuckled and quirked a brow, “Well, are we not? We share the same creator, don’t we? We were born in the same lab.”
His horror deepened, “No! No we are not brother and sister! This is what you feel for me? Tell me it is not, Estella.”
She realized he must have no great love for Starscream, and did not wish to be likened to him as a creation, she was quick to soothe him, “I did not mean to offend you, Erick. My only thought was to express my kinship towards you. If it saddens you, I will not call you brother. We shall be good friends only, if that is the term you prefer.” She reached out to embrace him once more, “I would never wish to make you unhappy.”
Erick was still looking out in desperation. Why...Why would she...? He sighed heavily, trying to regulate his frustration. He would have to have patience. Estella could not be expected to accept him so readily after so long apart. Women were more sensitive to such things.
“Of course... Do you follow me. We will soon arrive, and I am sure you wish to shower and change...Forgive me, I fear I have no clothes that would fit you well...”
She trotted eagerly behind his long strides, “If you have a pair of sweat pants I could borrow, that would suit me fine.”
