Another thing is that jjks or jungkook akgaes sole focus point is jimin when he mentions jungkook or when he just breathes near him lol. they were losing it when jimin mentioned jungkook in the MiniMoni episode but where were they when tae name dropped jungkook twice in official content only for jungkook to come back and say it wasn’t like that lol, “he just called me suddenly and asked if he could record at my studio” just for it to be a demo after he said his ‘songs’. I also saw smn mention that taehyung touched down on jungkooks birthday in 2022 and posted his birthday message to jk as soon as he was in the car (bc he posted it when he landed and left) just to not visit him? but jennie touched down like a day before so i guess he was occupied. and it was in the heat of those rumours and pics being revealed. he also said jungkook was teaching him how to box only for jungkook to downplay it infront of him too i believe. “I learnt a bit from jungkook and it was fun” - tae. “oh that? you're calling out a double standard between t@ekook and jikook as well as the minority jikookers find themselves in regarding the larger "fans of bts/shippers/solos" space. just like how tae's solos are really just t@ekookers, most of jungkook's solos are the same. jimin is the target for them no matter what, since he is the threat to their ship. (even if some jikookers harbor dislike or criticism of taehyung, some go too far, most stay pretty tame and don't publicly threaten him online from what i've seen).

when jimin talks about jungkook, it's clear to us that he is being authentic. i believe him when he says him and jungkook drink for 3-4 hours and talk about music. its believable based on previous knowledge about jikook that we know and jimin has largely said he does not like acting fake for the sake of fans.

tae on the other hand is at a disadvantage because

there is no pre-established "lore" or "evidence" to back up his claims about jungkook in front of fans.

his ways of twisting the truth just slightly allows for it to be fact checked.

jungkook is pretty matter-of-fact, while maintaining strong boundaries. he is seemingly confused as tae's lies and corrects them.

t@ekookers are also at fault here a little, because they cling onto tae's words like its gospel, when i personally haven't found that trust in him. but yeah vminkook have developed to be very interesting to dissect. thanks for the ask!!

I've been missing BTS and decided to binge a few of their docu content like Break the silence, memories DVD etc. It's glaringly obvious the focus is on jkk interactions the most. Consistently across all content! If I was a fan that only viewed these videos, I would also make the judgement that JKK are the closest duo coz they are playful on stage and then always together backstage - eating,walking,traveliing in same car etc. Add to the mix when Jm said in the vminkook live as well as recent PTD docu that Jk spends hours in his room and seeks him out. That's what birthed this ship I guess.

For Tk i feel Ch 2 solidified it more for me based on personal tidbits shared by Tae and Jk on how much time they spend outside group activities. These focus hardly have Tae focus content, forget about Tk 🙄

Don't you think it's weird to reconcile the way the company content shows relationships/bonds and outside those? Like we barely see any Tk interactions on hours of this footage shown for so many years? Jkk the glued together duo didn't hang out much in Ch 2 until this travel docu for which Jm selected Jk.

Any cutesy clingy interaction shown will always be jkk in these content and it's been the same across years and diff docus. Look at the recent Beyond the star trailer and you'll again see Jk cooking and Jm beside him and then Jm clinging on to Jk. Don't see any other duo interactions like that tbh. Do you think this is done purposefully to establish a narrative?

People hate when I talk business strategies, but I’m gonna 🙈.

During Suchwita recently, Tae and Yoongi mentioned how about 90 percent of footage doesn’t make the cut in In the Soop. That’s basically true for all content. What we see is what BH wants us to see. I feel BTS has some say about the kind of projects they take on, some say on what activities they do, probably a lot of say about their music, but not as much say on how things are edited after they have filmed stuff. That’s basically up to the editors, and it gets done according to pre-decided goals/lines/rules/whatevers. A company as big as BH, and especially a band as huge as BTS has a whole team of marketing, pr, image-advisors behind them, and those are the people who sit around and come up with what they want to put out. That doesn’t mean that BTS members fake the way they interact or that what we see is set up and dishonest, but there’s people deciding what we see.. so it’s filtered content. Talking about Jm and Jk, they do actually spend all that time together and they do actually enjoy their time together, it clearly shows. But it’s BH’s choice to show us them and relatively speaking less other duos.

Why more Jkk than other duos? They measure fandom reactions. They know which duos get the desired reactions and ofcourse that is what they will put into content more. Every member has their role, so you’ll get Yoongi and Namjoon for the serious stuff a lot, you get Tae being cutesy, you get Jin being funny, and you’ll get Hobi being the enthousiast… and Jk and Jm for the banter. It’s not as if those roles are fake, but they are played out a bit more. Jm and Jk are the main singers, which will also play a role. Jk and Tae cannot be shown too much, so there’s that.

Official content is always edited the way it is for a reason. There’s hours going into it, and it’s a serious matter because it is directly linked to BTS’s image.

So Tae confimed that the travel show is a vminkook series...jimin got dragged by taekookers because it was idea and now tae said "our show"... so they dragged jm for nothing. I don't know why they didn't promote tae with jikook or maybe they will do it later. It's like the company wanted to bring hate to jimin only, convincing people that he forced jk to do the show, when in fact it's something vminkook decided together.

Until the remaining six episodes air and Tae is in all of them, I don’t see the point in whining, I’m not going to lie to you.

I genuinely do not care that Tae is in as far as we know, one or two episodes. I genuinely just don’t. I also don’t care that he says, “Our show.” because as established, Tae makes kind of odd choices concerning things dealing with JK. So until the remaining promotion starts to include Tae for the remaining episodes, and we see an episode or more of just him, of Tkk, or of Vmin, I don’t agree it is now suddenly a vminkook series.

So no offense, but please go talk about this with someone who agrees with you.

Editing to add: I just watched the video, and I still don’t think it’s an announcement of the series being about Vminkook now. It’s the Jeju portion, as the title says, so my assumption is they recorded this segment with the intent to distribute what was filmed in Jeju as a Vminkook trip.

If we get more Vminkook footage in other places, then I’ll concede, but it doesn’t seem like it means the show itself no longer is about Jikook traveling.

That said, I will agree it doesn’t make sense for them to cut V from the original promo if they planned to include the Jeju footage. Unless, since we know Jimin and JK didn’t originally plan to keep filming for AYS after the US, this was a last minute thing they circled back around to film an official Vminkook announcement for.
