I know that the kr community is still heavily involved in church (both prot and catholic), like it's such an important part of the culture and identity of our community but I realized how poorly cathecized most of them are... from the things I hear they treat church more like some kind of a social club and it's actually sad.
#idk much about the kr protestant churches#but the catholic church is basically a mess#like i doubt most people know what a mass is#especially the younger ones. they don't even understand korean so how do they even understand mass

Beautifully Cruel World-The Pack
Series Master list | Next
ABO Non-Idol Stray Kids Universe Poly OT8 x Reader 18+ MDNI
Disclaimer: The names and faces used here are just that, names and faces, and in no way reflect the real people the characters are based after. The actions, views, personalities and characteristics of these characters do not in any way shape or form reflect the real Stray Kids. This story is all for fun so please keep it that way.
Background: This story takes place in an alternate universe where everyone presents as 1 of 3 sub-genders, Alpha, Beta, Omega. Omegas became a rarity after a disease almost wiped them out and the world has been slowly trying to repopulate them ever since. Omegas are normally sold to packs as possessions and are for the whole pack to use. Most packs only have one omega if any unless a pup is presented as one which they are groomed to be the perfect submissive omega for a pack to buy. But some rare omegas don't go through that, this is that story.
Let me know if you want to be added to the tag list for this series
Christopher Bang Chan- Alpha (Pack Alpha / Pack Leader) 27
Chan helps run his fathers business in the Korean Office with his fathers business partners son after deciding to move there from Australia. The 2 created their small pack named SKZ located a bit outside of Seoul and helps take care of a small town. Chan's a pack and family man, having become more understanding and protective of omega's after his younger brother presented as one and takes care of everyone even if it means neglecting his own needs.
Lee Minho- Alpha 26
Minho is hard to read. He can come off as cold and distant to outsiders but in the pack he's actually the caretaker type. He's the main cook for the pack and just seems to know how all of his pack mates are feeling and what they need. Before meeting the pack he was a backup dancer for a K-pop group called BTS and have since become a dance teacher at a big prestige dance studio in Seoul.
Seo Changbin- Alpha (Head alpha / 2nd in command) 25
Changbins father ran an office in Seoul with his business partner in Australia (Chan's dad). Changbins father stepped down and decided to let Changbin and Chan run the Korean office. Together with Chan they slowly formed their pack, becoming protective of his packmates. He's Chan's second in command and will do anything to protect his pack. Even though he's seen as the muscle and tough guy of the pack, he's actually one of the sweetest and the pack all collectively agree that he gives the best hugs and comfort.
Hwang Hyunjin- Beta (Head Beta) 24
Hyunjin is a hopeless romantic but has shielded his heart because of it having been hurt too many times. Because of this he's possessive of his fated mates and doesn't take too kindly to new people. He was even cautious with each of his pack mates having to take time to accept all of them. And it took him even longer when their pack was betrayed by one of their own. Because of this he's a great head beta and often time used as one of the mediators. He can be found teaching art classes in the towns community center once a week.
Han Jisung- Beta 24
Jisungs one of the most helpful and supportive of everyone, even if he doesn't even believe in himself. Even as a beta he still has some omega tendencies. He stives to please the people he loves. At first he can be shy and introverted but around is pack he's always talking and joking. He has some insecurities the pack helps with as well as mental health but he tries to not let that stop him, especially when his true mates remind him how amazing he is.
Lee Felix- Beta 24
Felix is the most omega like beta you will ever meet. His family was honestly surprised when he presented as a beta instead. They joke that his and and his sister (who did present as an omega even though she's more beta like) had somehow mixed up their sub-genders. The pack was always okay with not having a true omega as they felt they already had one with him around. No one can ever say no to him as he's just a ray of sunshine that brightens the packs lives. He will nest for not only himself but also for his pack and can be found in the kitchen along side Minho.
Kim Seungmin- Beta 24
Seungmin pays attention better than anyone in the pack. He's observant of everyone around to make sure his pack isn't in any type of danger. All though one of the youngest he knows how to assert his dominance when needed. Along with Hyunjin he's a great mediator for the pack. He has a passion for baseball and is the coach for the local towns little league team.
Yang Jeongin- Alpha 23
Jeongins the youngest member of the pack and a late presenter. It took time and a lot of help from his alpha hyungs to control his tendencies and he looks up to all of them because of it striving to be as great as they are. It also helped that one of his brothers presented as an omega allowing him to understand what it's like to protect one. Although he's the least experienced in the pack he's devoted.
Y/n- Omega 23

Me, and my opinion. Last post.
Ok, I am simply amazed that there are comments on whb. Ha. When they were complaining about Levi and his new card, I thought it was because of how childish and silly it had been. I didn't expect them to give him the real P solely because Mc was younger.
So, at some points, with some posts talking about it, I thought I was going to be really rude if I got into an argument, “over nothing”, but now that I'm justified...
1.- We are adults.
And as adults that we are, we don't get to invent, or assume. We resolve ourselves with facts, and with coldness. We do not launch stupid and unverifiable accusations. If we want to point out a fact, you must demonstrate that Leviathan, as a character, is a pedophile.
2.- Do I really have to explain it?
For the people who accuse Leviathan of being a pedophile, where the hell do they get that from? Are they guided only because they wear a uniform? Mc may very well be over the legal age of consent for sexual relations in any country, not only that, Mc's nationality is Korean. In South Korea, they enter college at between 18-19 and finish between 22-23. At no time was it specified that Mc went to high school, or anything like that. Another point, are they really going to discuss the age of Mc when Leviathan biblically exists since the beginning of creation? Really? I don't know if those people will feel better if Mc is at least five thousand years old.
If don't have enough…
Well, let's say Mc was 16-17. You, player, are between 19-30. Do you know what age the game is geared towards? +18 in case we forgot the LITTLE detail. What if they know that Mc is the player's representation? Idk what they want. Especially BECAUSE THEY ARE ADULTS who know how to tell the difference, separate fact from fiction, separate a game from real life. Leviathan is not out there on the loose, looking for 18-23 year old “babes”, my god. And no one who plays the game, is going after a minor just because Leviathan likes the Mc who is probably 20 YEARS OLD. And more, of course. The story is based ON A DREAM, MADE OF MAGIC. Where do they find sense for they to want to complain about it? At this point I am indeed laughing at how absurd it sounds, because that's what it is.
Last but not least.
Okay, let's ignore all of the above. If you don't like the game, because it has certain themes, stop playing, go to Play Store, and look for the thousands of Otome games you like so much. There are millions, even those that touch only a sexual plot. There are hundreds and hundreds of different games for all tastes, but don't ruin the experience for other players just because other people think Leviathan is a pedophile. The game is PB's, and they can do whatever they wants with it as they has always done.
Really is the last.
With this point, it is where we delve into the fact that PB never gently implies when they talk about abuse, nor do they leave it implicit. They never did, they never would, they know the topics they touch on, how they use them and they never romanticize them. We are all aware of when it happens, and we are consistent enough to know that it is wrong, and that we are not going to replicate it in our daily lives, nor idealize as if we were 13 years old.
So, person who thinks they saw the worst of the worst, and you expose it as if no one has three fingers in front to understand it, question it and know it's a game, you're not helping anyone. Those of us in fandom are not idiots to not know what we are consuming. We know what whb is, we are aware of the complicated issues, and no, we are not 14, much less 16, we can think for ourselves and know what is wrong. You don't have to stress what we already know, please. If you want to complain, don't make a pointless war out of the issue, show that you have reading comprehension and do it on a reasoned basis. (Although I don't promise that anyone is going to take any notice of you for it, because no matter what you say, I repeat, we know what we are consuming).
If someone has to send this to one of those who can't even research for a minute, do it. Because it is truly fucked up to be at the expense of a daily absurd complaint.
Clarification.
I am not implying that no one is complaining. In fact, we should understand, learn, and tolerate all opinions, but it's one thing to say that Leviathan is an unprecedented jerk, abuser, and manipulator (and I would totally agree with the point), and quite another to accuse him of seriousness, spread him thin, and have more people, who don't know about the subject, want to play along, to the point that they get to PB.
I knew that whb had the potential to grow
And reach the public, even the wrong audience. But for certain types of people to make such a big deal over a card, especially over something as trivial as the Leviathan card it's absurdly stupid.
My prediction of all this is that Pretty Busy is going to be criticized sooner or later. We accept it, but we know it's not going to come from fandom, because we're not teenagers with attention issues.
It looks like PB is going to have to post more warnings and cautions about its content and the kind of themes they can find in it even within the game itself. I, what I fear the most, is that they will end up censoring it. (Because it's not enough for X and Play to have it labeled as C content.)
#prettybusy what in “hell” is bad?#what in hell is bad#whb#whb leviathan#whb content#I bet my opinion will pass by but it never hurts to state the obvious.

Uh, as a Korean American immigrant who has actually lived in Korea as a child, spent time in Korea for vacation and lived in Seoul while studying, this is 100% bullshit.
I really wish people who aren't Korean or don't have any connection to Korean culture would stop commenting in this way and I really wish people would stop taking Korean shippers at their word. A lot of shippers can not be trusted to remain unbiased and honest and that includes K-tkkers as well. Shippers always have and always put their own agenda first. We have all seen how video editors have been able to twist a single moment into something that seems much more and it's no different than what some Korean shippers do with the language.
Jeongguk isn't any more or less formal with Jimin than he is with Taehyung besides the fact that he's a little more teasing with Jimin in a way that could be considered taunting if you dialled it up (and I'm not saying that Jeongguk taunts Jimin. I'm trying to describe what kind of tone it is...more like sibling/close friend. Actually a bit like VMIN but not as much, if you understand what I'm trying to say)
but jkkers will use the fact that Jeongguk often drops the 형 (hyeong) honorific with Jimin but they won't tell you that it's because he jokingly PLAYS up the formality instead. If you listen closely, you will often hears Jeongguk adding 씨 (ssi) at the end of Jimin's name in place of 형 (hyeong). This is essentially calling him Jimin, sir or Mr Jimin.
(To make it clear, Jeongguk does this is a playful manner, not a cold or disrespectful manner and definitely not a sexual one as I've heard some foreigners claim when they find it out )
His language or tone can be very fond at times but this isn't exclusive to any particular member. It's just that shippers will only zoom in on the interactions between members they ship.
As for romantic tone, what are you people hearing, honestly?
Nobody and I mean NOBODY in Bangtan are speaking romantically to each other. Simply because they would never get away with it, making it so obvious. If you hear ANYTHING like that, it will be done in a way to make it obvious that it's a joke or not to be taken seriously.
If there were any romantic overtures at all, it would be done in a way that can be passed off as fanservice since that's considered acceptable and cute within fandoms (though there still a good portion of the GP especially older men who do not like fanservice between idols at all ) You would NOT find it within the language itself. We (Koreans) take language VERY seriously and that is something that would draw the attention of people outside of shippers.
To make it clear, there is none of this 'nuance' between the way Taehyung and Jeongguk speak to each other either.
The closest you will find to that perspective is that they kind of alter their tones with each other in a way that could appear 'couply' if that's what angle you were looking at it from; speaking lower and higher to appear more manly and soft but even then, in Korea this can be put down to a younger brother trying to impress an older brother by appearing more manly or an older brother teasing a younger brother because of the respect/honorific system.
(With all the other 'evidence' I personally considered it from a romantic angle but the point is that it can be viewed a different way)
I'm sorry to tell people but the only people who consider Jikook real or even Taekook real are their shippers. Korea really isn't as progressive as some of you seem to think it is. It's getting better but there's still a whole generation or two who hold onto the old ways and would not tolerate a homosexual couple and there's still a lot of homophobia within the younger generation that would surprise some people. The tide is turning but it's turning slowly I can see it taking a couple more generations at least before we see any sort of significant change. Personally, I think LGBTQ rights in Korea will be led by feminism and that it will be a consequence of women's rights being taken more seriously. I think we're going to have to wait to see a major foothold gained there before the discussion on LGBTQ is even taken seriously. That's just my opinion though.
So if any ship in Bangtan were treating each other or talking to each other in a way that could be considered seriously romantic, we would all know about it because it would be considered a national scandal.
Even when Dispatch highlights Taekook, they do so in a way that falls in line with the concept of fanservice or Dispatch trying to capitalise on their individual popularity by putting them together (like doubling down on their fans, if you understand what I mean)
Being American raised, I do think the fact that Dispatch highlights them so much and specifically focuses on them as a 'couple' rather than playing with the pairings is one of the more suspicious things about Taekook, especially if it is true that Jikook are the more popular couple with the Korean fandom and considering Jimin and Jeongguk are both more popular with K-Army than Taehyung is. (Up until Running Man at least. That gained him a lot of attention and favor with the GP and an older audience and I know his choice of military service would have been received well, especially by older and younger Korean males)
If you pay attention to the actual words passed between these pairings, you will very easily see who spends much time together and doesn't, who is just catching up after some time apart and not, who is pleased to see each other again or who doesn't feel the need to be, who knows more about each other than not. This is the kind of stuff where any 'nuance' lays but I can tell you absolutely that it doesn't lay directly in their language.
Sorry for rambling but it's just really annoying when I see Korean Army manipulating International Army with our language and culture. Yes, there are some nuances that can be missed if you're not familiar with our language and culture but we are all human beings at the end of the day and some understanding between us is universal. A good rule of thumb is that if it isn't coming across in the body language then don't trust it if someone says it's coming across in the verbal language.
If people really want to use language to frame or understand their ship then I would suggest actually learning it so you can be informed yourself rather than trusting the word of biased people. It might not give shippers the results they want but it is a beautiful, poetic language in its own right.
Hi anon!
Thank you very much for this!
#this is what it always seemed like to me#and it’s very nice to hear this from someone who actually knows#thanks anon#straws#ship analysis#taekook

[ 𝚔𝚎𝚒 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚎𝚒𝚔𝚘'𝚜 𝚝𝟸 𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚛𝚘𝚐𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 ]
it's the idealization duo's interrogation time! these two have a lot to say this time, hopefully it helps you understand their crimes and backstories a little better (especially kei's. btw what's everyone thinking about his crime rn)
Q.001. What would you want to hear from your lover?
Kei: That they accept me.
Eiko: That they want to be the best partner I've ever had.
Q.002. Can you drive?
Kei: Eiji, don't you remember how I used to drive you to school when you were younger?
Eiko: I do have a license and my own car, but I don't really drive. I'd prefer my partner to do that.
Q.003. What's your favorite drink?
Kei: I like milkshakes, especially strawberry ones. I have a lot of nice childhood memories associated with them, haha.
Eiko: Just lemon tea is fine.
Q.004. Your ideal type?
Kei: Someone who doesn't judge me and someone who can keep up with me.
Eiko: Someone who is always honest with me and someone who is willing to do their very best for me. I think I'd like to date someone like you, Eiji-kun~
Q.005. Do you have any fun memories of your childhood?
Kei: My favorite one is when our dad's friend taught me how to take photos with my new camera and he told me to go and take a picture of anything I want. I took a picture of a dead butterfly lying on the ground. He said that I'm very creative and that I have a bright future ahead of me.
Eiko: I remember going shopping with my dad when I was little and he told me that I can have anything I want. I told him that I want to see him smile. He almost cried after that for some reason.
Q.006. Have you ever tried learning a foreign language?
Kei: I can speak English fluently, I mean, our dad is half-American and I've also spent a lot of time overseas. I tried to learn some other languages too, like French and Spanish, but I gave up. I'm not even that good at reading and writing kanji, so..
Eiko: I can speak English and a little bit of Korean, but mostly because I listen to a lot of music in those languages, haha.
Q.007. State the meaning of your name.
Kei: I think it's supposed to mean "gemstone"? Mom said that she named me that because she thought I was so beautiful, she wanted me to have a name that would have a meaning just as beautiful as me.
Eiko: I think it's something like.. "an excellent child"? Haha, my parents must've had a lot of expectations for me.
Q.008. What do you think about your siblings?
Kei: I love you, Eiji, even if you can be really mean sometimes.
Eiko: My little brother is very nice. He does have his quirks, but I think they make him cuter.
Q.009. What are lies to you?
Kei: Something that is necessary to have a fun life!
Eiko: Something that is forgivable only if it's done to save someone. I still won't forgive anyone who lies to me though.
Q.010. What are your parents' occupations?
Kei: Dad's a movie director and mom's a toymaker! Both of them are so creative! There's just something about our family that makes all of us so artistic.. You too, Eiji. Dad always praised you for being so reliable.
Eiko: I don't know actually. And I don't really care. Well, as long as they continue to buy me gifts and help me with money if anything happens, I'm fine.
Q.011. Do you like children?
Kei: I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that I actually have one, considering my lifestyle.
Eiko: Not really. They're not a part of my concept of a perfect life.
Q.012. What is/was your major?
Kei: Photography, obviously.
Eiko: Fashion design, though I'm more interested in modelling than designing clothes.
Q.013. Tell us about your dating history.
Kei: Um, are we talking about, like, "serious relationships"?.. Then I guess Ruka is the only one that counts..
Eiko: My victim was the only person I've ever dated.
Q.014. Did you have any friends in school?
Kei: I think I had one?..
Eiko: Yeah, but I wasn't really close with them. We talked a lot, but our relationship wasn't that deep.
Q.015. What's the greatest act of love?
Kei: Uhh, if it's from my lover, I think I'd just want them to tell me that they love me even when I don't look so good. If it's from me.. I don't know! Holding myself back
Eiko: Promising to make someone's life as happy as possible and actually keeping that promise.
#idk how to explain but i really like this parallel between kei and eiko like..#sure whatever the themes of kei's songs can be more mature than most other prisoners whatever.#sure he can flirt with other prisoners and all of that stuff.#but the moment when it comes to like.. what's actually going on inside his head he's like#“oh i love milkshakes :) i love mom and dad a lot! i love eiji-nii too! wdym he's younger than me?”#and like. he casually goes “oh maybe i do have a child :D who cares like omg who cares!!”#meanwhile sure you can judge eiko for dismembering a guy for betraying her expectations#but she's also much more mature than kei and she's actually one of the smartest prisoners here#believe me when i say that if it wasn't for her being apathetic she'd solve all mysteries of milgram in like. one or two days#also. i'm thinking of maybe. maybe dropping mrs sanada and mrs yoshioka designs? 👀#also yes there was a hint about eiji's past. yes.#✍️interrogations! ✍️#🍓prisoner 005: sanada kei 🍓#💎prisoner 006: yoshioka eiko💎#milgram#milgram oc#milgram project#ocgram

Read chapter 11-20 of Disaster Class Hero. (2% completion lol)
There's a lot of interesting points in general, but worth noting is that novel vs manhwa definitely has a difference in tone due to the things that got dropped or toned down. The novel has some comedy from Lee Geon being kind of absurd, but the manhwa is more humorous in general, especially since they remove some of the bloodier violence, a lot of mentions about how oppressive the temples are, and how wildly incompetent the saints are without Lee Geon.
My biggest other takeaways:
Lee Geon is mentioned as being 25 before the Tower, but looking 50-60 due to speeding up his aging from burning his life energy to fight. Post Tower, he looks like he's about 18 and repeatedly compared to a high schooler. I thought the art for the novel and the promo chapter was twink Lee Geon, but it's actually true. Tbh I'm gonna quietly scrub that from my brain, I can't deal with it.
Hugo is stated to look late 30s, early 40s (so barely younger than his actual age??), and thinking about them side by side is hilarious.
When mentioning how he doesn't know what smartphones are initially, Lee Geon thinks he's from 2005, which would be only five years after the calamity invasion started. The manhwa dated his and Hugo's first meeting as 30 years ago, so something mysterious going on with the timeline.
Hugo has a photo that shows Yooha and Sungjae, ages supposedly 9 and 5 respectively. Sungjae is 16 in present day and turns 17 partway in. So that would mean Yooha has to be 20 at minimum. Given that Hugo and Jiwoo were supposed to have met after the tower (iirc?)... I suppose everyone might be rounding down when talking about how the tower was twenty years ago. Otherwise, I do recall that Koreans sometimes count age differently, and you basically need to reduce it by one, so maybe it's that?
Novel does explain why Hugo mistook a random person for Lee Geon. He specifically expected Lee Geon to look even older than before the tower, like in his 70s, so he singles out an old man who also happens to be a tourist wearing a replica of Lee Geon's mask and even makeup to mimic his scars. So it's extremely understandable that he doesn't get it. Actually, even the divine gods who don't distinguish people based on their faces don't recognize Lee Geon, so he's basically entirely different from his previous self.
Worth noting is that Lee Geon seems to genuinely not understand how different he is from everyone else and what he can expect from others, to the point that I'm kind of surprised he hasn't killed someone accidentally by misjudging his strength. (my fanfic brain: bodyswap shenanigans with a touch of angst, yes??)

Random thoughts about Jazz for Two episodes 3 and 4:
I'm late to the party! I know all episodes are already available online but I'm paying for Gagaoolala so I will watch it there even if it means I have to wait two more weeks to know the end. After all, I'm watching a lot of series at the same time and it's better for me to not binge watch a series.
Let's start with things I liked in these two episodes:
▪️ Se Heon remains a nice character despite his weaknesses and his low self esteem when it comes to his piano's abilities. He is also jumping from on conclusion to another one so quickly. It was funny to see him trying to guess what is Joo Ha and Tae Yi's relationship.
▪️ Do Yoon is really a good friend and he is my favorite in this series. He is a cheerful and compassionate man. He has poor taste in men, but he is still in high school. He will have time to get better.
▪️ Tae Yi going to therapy for mental health struggles. In many countries, mental health issues are still not cared enough for. It's important to show that it can be helpful and if you go to therapy it doesn't mean you are "crazy"... We all need help sometimes.
▪️ The exploration of some serious topic such as internalized homophobia (because this is the vibe we get a lot from Joo Ha).
Things I didn't like in these two episodes:
▪️ They don't know how to communicate and it leads to so many misunderstandings. It's totally unhealthy. I can understand that some of the characters are facing very hard situations and they are not in the best place right now, but it's hard to watch how the lack of communication is poisoning their relationship.
▪️ The bullying dynamic that runs between all the two couples. This trope is not something I like to watch. I thought we were past these. You can't make me believe a relationship that start from bullying has any chance to work in the long run.
▪️ Se Heon's family lacks of love and warm sadden me. The father is incapable to be nice to his younger son. The older brother may help Se Heon but he never goes against the father and it's annoying. How can you grow up well, in this kind of atmosphere?
▪️ Joo Hee's character is again the "girl" who gets in between the couple and doesn't seem to understand her crush doesn't like her. Why are they always putting girls in this role? They can play the role of friends, helps, classmates without always getting in the middle of the romance. It's annoying.
▪️ The dead fish kiss between Do Yoon and Joo Ha. I know they are idols and from the same band so it explains this poor kiss, but I wish they would just stop hiring idols for this kind of role, especially if you want the characters to kiss (again, you don't have to kiss to be in a relationship with someone. There are multiple ways of being in love and in relationship). It's just that Korean idols especially and BL, don't work well together, in my opinion.
Next week, I'll see how things will go for everyone.
#my thoughts#random thoughts#jazz for two#jazz for two the series#bl drama#bl series#kdrama#korean bl#episode 3#episode 4#This series is not bad but it feels a little bit underwhelming after Love for love's shake.

I find it really hard to word this properly but does anyone else feel some kind of sense of dread or loss over the parts of our tradition and culture that we lost to westernisation?
Where are the καράβια for christmas? Why are traditional clothes so incredibly hard to find? Why do we barely get taught the easier dances at school (πχ συρτό στα τρία) and that's it (unless of course you decide to pay to take lessons or your family teaches you)? Why has our cuisine changed so much? There are so many more examples, I've lost track at this point
I absolutely understand why many people, especially younger people, don't care since anyone that feels rejected by the culture will reject the culture back (especially if you grew up feeling abandoned by the state and ESPECIALLY if you are gay or any other type of minority in greece). I still hate it though
I know what you mean. We are basically a second little US compared to how our country would be if it were free of that heavy outside influence.
Modernization is good, buuut it's not without cons. I've heard a young Greek call the color combinations of traditional clothing "tacky" and I sense that's how many Greeks think given how our nationality aesthetic has been reshaped. The fact that we have to get used to the aesthetic our ancestors appreciated for generations....
That's just one example of how we have embraced modernity on the condition we completely reject everything traditional. Even when we "modernize the traditional" is 99% (mostly) USian standards and environment and 1% of Greek culture just to add enough palatable uniqueness. I wish we could have both.
On top of that, religion doesn't appeal to a growing number of Greeks for various reasons (which I don't condemn). Unfortunately, religion used to be the glue between any Greek community and now we can't bond over that. We have nothing to replace it with so far, leading us to further isolation.
(That's partly why I occasionally reblog things such normally more religious people would be interested in. The history of the Greek Orthodox church is also Greek history. It concerned the people of this land for thousands of years, and we cannot separate our past from the church completely.)
And, on another note, why the fuck do we have to get to specific events and lessons to dance our traditional dances? Why don't we wear traditional jewelry, for example? Why most of us don't know how our traditional clothing looks like? Many Greeks admire traditional dances and clothing from other cultures (Indian, Korean, Native American tribes, and more) but when you ask their opinion about traditional Greek clothing and dances they are suddenly disgusted. Their appreciation for culture stops in their own culture 🤦

First of all, loved the reading! "She’s very well attuned with her sexuality and the cards even suggest she’s no stranger to using it in commercial activities" True. She's also opportunist, no surprise at all how she'd use what she can to get where she wants.
"She’s not shy about expressing her needs and wants to her lover, she’s likely to communicate her fantasies pretty openly and sometimes with even shocking details." Again this resonates. Eunbi was the leader of Izone. She speaks her mind and was firm but caring to her members, shy and Eunbi doesn't go hand in hand.
"Her chest is also very likely her erogenous zone." She's definitely not shy about her bust. It's rare to see korean, idol at that, with heavy chest. Especially since Idols have strict diets and are constantly dancing. You go Eunbi!
"Eunbi might actually feel attracted to those mysterious or even outcast personalities. Not exactly dangerous types but those who live for their own sake and don’t try to stand out." Okay I must say this was unexpected and a little different from what I've seen of her. She seems like someone who's in it for money, someone well off. She mentioned she likes a charming partner, doesn't sound like an outcast to me so idk.
"She might like to be watched by her lover when she’s taking a bath, teasing them and telling them how she’s getting all warmed up and soft in the water." Sounds like something she'd do, driving people crazy with her hand steadily on the wheel 🛐
"I can see the cards suggest she might actually prefer lovers who are younger than her." Eunbi is authoritative and direct, with Korean age hierarchy, the older the superior, it's understandable why she'd prefer younger men.
"She’s likely to instruct her lover a lot because she’s genuinely seeking her release and her partner better be able to deliver it to her or they might not remain in the position of her lover for long." You just described Eunbi in a nutshell lol. I loved the reading. It paints Eunbi the leader, authoritative, sexy woman that she is! 🔥
Thank you
Hello!
Thank you for the feedback!
As for the outcast, it doesn't mean they have to be poor. I mean in a patriarchal sociaty like the Korean one still is, a man who's willing to submit to a woman can be viewed and weak and outcasted by his peers to a certain degree. What I had in mind was more of a person who doesn't follow all the customs and norms. For example it can be a hard working and decently earning person but maybe they don't drink alcohol and don't go on those drinking sessions with their colleagues which are popular in Korea. This can easily make them seem antisocial and in a way outcast. I should have elaborate a bit more. 😂
I'm always happy to do readings about powerful individuals and Kwon Eunbi seems like she's like that. 😊
I think her strongest archetype would be Mommy, followed by Domina. A little bit of Bad Girl when she is in a mood and just a pinch of Good Girl on special occassions. But this is my guess and it can turn out to be completely different when / if I do the reading. 😂
I'm glad the reading resonated with the personality of Kwon Eunbi as you know it. 😁
Thank you for the lovely feedback! 💖

Single's Inferno 2 was entertaining. It still had some of S1's obvious flaws, but I'm note sure I understand some of the commentary I've seen here and on other platforms?
Like, why is Seulgi getting hate? That girl has been nothing but appropriate and as honest as possible this whole show. Her behavior being different depending on how attracted by a guy she is, or how comfortable she is with him, is 100% normal and human. She hasn't pretended to like Jongwoo as much as he likes her either - giving a chance to someone who's interested and whom you think you might like back after getting to know them is a real thing people do in real life lol. Jongwoo himself knew that. Tbh I did think she'd choose Jinyoung, as she obviously was very attracted to him, but I think he scared her off with his "stability" talk. She's still a student, she's younger, I don't think she wanted something complicated. In any case, it's actually impossible to truly fall for someone in such a short time, so it's okay for people to evaluate their options - especially that it's literally the show's point.
Also not getting why Jinyoung is being accused of disparaging Soe's looks, he simply noted Sejun's ideal type was the "charismatic" type (or sophisticated, or whatever other word they use) as opposed to Soe being the "sweet" type. I totally get being uncomfy with how Korean people so easily label people in general and categorize women by "type" in particular (sexy-cute, cute, sexy, charismatic, party girl...) but he didn't make that up.
And why are people resenting the men for going for the girls who fit more the Korean beauty and dating standard on a show where they only have 9 days to make a choice and much fewer days to even decide who they're going to pursue, and where the importance of initial physical attraction is that much bigger given there's a lot of personal stories and subjects they can't discuss for fear of disclosing age and profession ? The person you go for in that context would not be the same as the one you'd go for after really getting to know everyone and getting to witness their charms. The show exploits the first urge, not actual connections, despite it's claims. It's also different when you have several "options" which you'll then inevitably compare, as opposed to a chance encounter in real life with one (1) person. The fact that the Korean beauty and dating ideal is much stricter than in other countries can be felt, obviously, but all the factors above heavily influence those decisions as well.
Now don't get me wrong : I 100% agree that the man gravitating around the same girls makes the show extremely predictable. That is it's main flaw. But if anything, it's the casting team choices that should be criticized - they knew what they were doing when they cast Soeun and Seulgi, just like Jia and Jiyeon in season 1. The show might be more interesting if they didn't cast those kind of girls (not derogatory at all, to be clear) .... but there also would be less competition (which they want to keep the drama high) and maybe a higher number of people not remotely interested in anybody (though some of the connections on the show are already clearly exaggerated).
Anyway I liked this season more than the first one. None of the guys were annoying or too pushy, I really really liked every single one of the girls, and everyone expressed themselves pretty maturely (Yoong Jae took his time but he got there lol). Thrilled Soe had some positive development, she deserves it (shocked at how mature she was for her age). Bummed that Sejeong couldn't go to paradise at least once, but more pissed at the producing team for casting her while knowing she'd probably be in that position (like Yewon last season).

Hi. At first I want you guys to take cool approach before you'll judge what I'll write. I wondered will BTS spouses take benefits from being wives of famous husbands and do what they want behind the scenes? They're probably won't because members are shrewd and will look for someone even more rich. Idk, but I'd do this. Spending their money and making people jealous that my spouse is big persona but I'd be also looking for affection and sex somewhere else. Because, let's be real. They'll cheat on wives too or will change them on a younger versions after more years. I'm sure. Let's even take look at all those older, Hollywood actors who already have 3, 4th gf or wife who's younger. Typical for rich, white prick. I think in Korean version it's that they will stay in marriage even if it will be awful but they'll sleep around behind the scenes for ages. More likely to happen because it's Korean culture. Because culture in Korea is similar to those rules in times of our grandparents who remained in marriages even if it was practically long gone. I know that fans are told by most of readers that those marriages will be great but it's only for fans to not to attack readers. It made me kinda smile when you told one of anons that they'll all marry because of love.. And you don't seem someone who answers to please fans. People of such status like BTS will firstable pray to get someone with good image and good family background who won't take advantage of them financially. It's a top priority of such people. Then the top priority on a list is the same level of wealth and good looks. We're talking about people who gave up on dating to debut, who mostly have casual relationships for basic needs because of fame and fear of being used. Even Namjoon new songs hint about ,,not being able to be close enough to partner" Love will be on a far list when they'll decide to marry someone. Marriage is a contract between very rich people and especially in korean culture (that are very practical in love). I know what I'm talking about because I got familiar with korean culture but also rules in rich society. If people of such caliber would care about relationships and feelings, they wouldn't be on the top. You need to be calculated af. It's very lonely life for sure but I think that most of them don't complain if they've got everything available - including girls who wait with legs wide open for them 🤭 Some even lost a touch with reality like Taehyung/Jimin who thinks that he can seduce everyone or Jungkook who gets super shocked when someone isn't interested in him (Because why when he's the Jeykey 🤣) Men are funny.
Hi, let's chat. According to all your versions, they won't change wives. most likely. Even if they are rich. And even if the guys. Well… I have a question. And why do rich girls need someone from BTS? Something for one night? I understand what you wanted… Add bitterness to people, but don't confuse your finger with a hedgehog. They are artists, not businessmen. The same gene directors in their company earn more. They have no power. Reputation? Yes, they need to support it, but they do not need to "make deals". I'm talking about arranged marriages. And you won't believe it, all people (mostly) marry for love. And then they have a life together. And yes, that's what I assume it will be. They deserve at least one wonderful relationship.
Well. Yes, maybe I don't want to argue. Maybe they will cheat, what difference does it make to us? Maybe even girls will cheat. (I do not know why you think that only guys fuck (in principle)
Ironically, they will look for people who are of the same or higher income with them, those who doesn't even talk to people if it doesn't bring income (figuratively speaking), so that they don't being used. I wonder how it is?
Fear of being used… How can you be so sure? Maybe they don't have any fears of being used? They're very rich according to you. Such are not afraid that they will be used.
I do not know which song exactly you are talking about. It is logical that they are not about close love / marriage. After all, he wrote these songs about his years that have passed. And Big Hit didn't confirm that he was married or in a relationship. So yes…
Marriage is a union of two people. Not two rich people. Everyone (so far) can get married. (even though it's fucking expensive)
You won't believe it, I'm also familiar with Korean culture. Your rules of "rich society" (although this is high society) only apply to those wives who were "bought". She came to everything ready and endures for the sake of money. Marriage contracts, did you hear? It's a pretty common thing if both have something. And if you're talking about such marriages, then, in principle, "rich people" often have both he and she have a lover.
Yes, you need to be prudent, but it's enough not to confuse work with personal life. And since you mention Korean society in this way, then the conversation may be over, because then they will not choose anyone for themselves, their parents will choose their spouse.
In general, everything turned out to be quite blurry… Summing up, I still didn't understand what kind of essence you were trying to convey.
Why have they lost touch with reality? How do you know their abilities? There are people who can literally seduce anyone. This is in fact pure psychology, and charisma. And Jimin and Taehyung have enough charisma.

Majority of my dreams are bizarre. And I would have to say that it's so very rare for me to have dreams that actually make sense. If I can also remember any of my dreams, especially dreams that make sense, I'm always writing notes of what I can actually remember if I'll do use that for materials in a creative way. Like using dreams for plots in stories.
~
Either one long season, or one last movie or something to completely wrap up the whole franchise. I don't really know about Keiji as Rocky.
But the Mighty Warriors (the musicians) have been making the music videos where they're apart of Kuryu now, with new and old members.
So if the Mighty Warriors are technically the new Kuryu now, I have to say that they hopefully would get more backstory for some of them if that were the case. And that actually does include Ryu this time too.
This new war between SWORD gangs and the newly formed Kuryu, is the actual war I've been really curious about. Who's the real winners.
Hopefully find out who or want this mastermind, Mr. Bulge, person is.
Also more concrete ending for the SWORD gangs, happier times with these gangs too. Basically anything and everything we want for them.
Actually.. I think I gave you some of my ideas for a sequel story. If and when I actually do start writing stories. So this is always my problem.
That's how I felt. Despite them graduating, they still seem like closest friends with each other (but not really including other gangs either).
Yeah.. If someone in Daruma accidentally let any secrets slip about all the older Daruma men, it would have to be the younger generations. I can't imagine Hyuga, Kato, Sakyo or Ukyo mentioning anything since they seem that they would keep it amongst themselves. Not others. I don't really know. That's how I see it. But I could be wrong about that.
And Seki is someone who would accidentally say things he shouldn't.
~
If I watch Worst Of Evil, I might wait until the season is over because I am too patient to wait weekly for an episode. So... I'll wait a bit longer.
I don't mind watching shows and movies on sites - especially if that is the only way to watch. But I can't tolerate that many commercials but popup ads are even worse than commercials, if that really is possible.
Exactly! Obviously Vincenzo's multilingual. He speaks Korean, Italian and English. That is because he lived in Korea and Italy, so that would make sense for his character. And Jang's character lived in America... So I know he could speak fluent English. But altering the English and Korean sentences while communicating to people who don't know so much about that language? Why? I know in Asian countries, English's the secondary language they have to learn in school. But that doesn't really mean they are fluent in that language. Some may be, but not all of them. Because Cha-yeong and Choi are really not fluent in English.
And, I know there are some of the men from Exile Tribe who are really able to speak more than one language. Not sure who though. But! I'm sure Elly is one of them. He was able to speak English and Japanese.. Same with Sarah. Granted those actors are of mixed descent so there is a chance they learned more than one language from their families - same with some other mixed celebrities. I know there are times when some people may be able to understand a language without knowing how to speak it, but that's not too often that I know of. Like you said; I just watched End Of Sky. So I remember those scenes when that guy with the pompadour hair kept communicating with Yamato, mainly in English too. There was some times where even it seemed like Yamato understood some sentences. But for the most part, he didn't actually understand most of what was said to him. So why communicate with someone who doesn't know the language? I don't know. Personally I'd be too confused to have a conversation with someone who would not know the language. I know the Korean actor who was just completely, y'know, manipulating Kohaku was also multilingual (in reality, and the movie). And Pearl spoke a little English. So I can't remember who else is able to though. But! I know they never mention this. So this may be my headcanon.. But because Kizzy and Kaito lived in America, during the time Kizzy was getting her operations. I do believe they can speak English, at least conversational English so enough to communicate.
And you probably already know this by now because I've commented about it.. Vincenzo (and Joong-ki) is my type of man. Especially when he is a mafioso man... "I'm just a scumbag who gets rid of even worse scumbags." I'll so just look the other way if my man actually murdered people like them, people who deserve to die. And no questions asked.
Anyway.
You're probably annoyed by obsessive commentary about men now.
I do love the plot twists that happen. And, a lot of the time, those plot twists are twists that you'd least expect to happen in this entire show.
Definitely one of my favorite series.
~
Oh! Speaking of alcohol.. Maybe not anymore. I know the drinks were a part of the Club Heaven scenes. And, I know, the White Rascals had been inspired by Clockwork Orange - I don't know if you ever saw the movie. Anyway. I do wish that there was a recipe for the milky drink in Club Heaven because I might want to try that drink. I don't know why.
i wish my dreams could be used for story plots, but all of them are so nonsensical that they’re basically useless. or i forget them before i can get my phone open to the notes app. cannot wake up quick enough, just keep trying to fall back asleep and in the process end up with an entirely different half-asleep dream.
~
gimme one long season. 50 min - hour long episodes. tie up those loose ends, squeeze in some new fun characters history scenes. crush new kuryu/warriors into an unreturnable-from dust or gimme an enemies-to-allies plot where they face off against bulge. leave all the sword gangs with more concrete, hopeful endings instead of the ramshackle open ones they’ve currently got.
they’re besties! and doing their own lil things now that they’ve graduated! i like to think the got closer with the sannoh boys - mainly because murayama goes around into sannoh to bother befriend cobra. i think furuyu and seki would get along with yamato and noboru.
sakyo and ukyo mind their business. the babies are a lil bit of blabbermouths. kato would let a secret like hyuga falling off the hood of the car slip if hyuga was annoying him enough - that’s the big brother energy popping out.
if cobra found out, he’d probably confront them about it. cobra just ‘did you fall off your car/truck?’. murayama/hyuga: …. 😬
~
the popups at least don’t cut in if you go fullscreen so that’s good. plus the myasiantv site has, like, ever possible asian show and movie available. nearly all with english subs unless they’ve just come out or only the raw footage was released. i’ve only found a couple things that don’t have subtitles.
i like when vincenzo speaks italian. it’s a neat language to listen to and his voice is nice. from googling, it seems like only about ~10% of korean citizens fluently speak english. so i can only imagine that when jang speaks english that whoever he’s speaking to might only understand about half of it.
i think elly can, and i think that i trad that pho’s actor used to be fluent in english but he’s been living in japan for so long that he’s slipped a little bit? i don’t know about the other guys. i think i also read that naoki (genji), naoto (jesse) and alan (bernie) can speak a little bit of english?
kizzy and kaito are probably decently fluent in english, maybe kizzy a little more than kaito just because she’s the more chatty one.
~
i thought i saw somewhere that the club heaven drinks might’ve been lychee flavoured but i don’t remember where. might’ve just been in my head idk. they’re probably some kind of cocktail, maybe something coconut-y. there’s a lot more white cocktails than i thought, but one that looks similar might be the french 75? not a milky drink tho. in some pics it looks more white but in others it looks more yellowish/clearer? there’s also a couple japanese sake cocktails it could be. idk i’d have to look at the club heaven drinks a little closer.

he nods , thinking about his own sister and the way that when she'd moved out - nico had been the first one to come over and check all locks on the door and see how safe the neighbourhood was at night . but also . . . how happy she'd been to show him her own slice of the world , even if it was tiny and with a leaky tap . he feels himself smile , wondering if star's brother is going to do the same . it sounds like they have as good of a relationship with each other as nico has with his own siblings . at star's next question , he laughs softly . he doesn't know how to really answer her question ( as if he's so good at answering them normally ) . " not really . " nico admits . he doesn't mention that younger nico wasn't really hard pressed for work options . his neighbourhood wasn't flush with cash , his mum worked 3 jobs and his school had a 35% drop out rate . he doesn't even know how he finished high school .
" cold noodles . " he pauses . " what do you call them again ? " nico won't butcher the word , but he wants to at least try to say it - especially if its stars favourite dish . he isn't familiar with korean food as much as he probably should be , but he grew up eating tlayudas and empanadas primarily .
nico notices the way star's cheeks colour as she struggles to answer his question . it makes his own grin grow before he can even think about it . he leans back against the stool , watching and waiting and realises he could do this forever . he could spend hours in this moment right now , with her blushing and talking and him just watching her . nico can't be thinking about what that means right now . " i don't think it's sad . " he replies , before flicking up an eyebrow . " but everyone should do somethin' bad at least once . don't tell my sister and little brother i said that though . " nico jokes . his other eyebrow raises now too , not quite understanding the rebellion or what styling consists of . " disney styles you ? " it makes sense and he understands it in theory , but it still seems unfathomable , as if star's a BARBIE DOLL rather than a human .
star doesn't get what it is about nico. why she wants to know so much more — that even when she first met him and realized his purpose, she never really retreated the way she notices other's did. it's completely different to how she felt about chris. the pull she had to him was dizzying, like a hurricane waiting to happen. but this, it feels safe. warm, even, in ways she didn't think possible . . . wait why is she even comparing him to her ex like this?
"yes! he's been wanting to see my apartment for the longest time. he moved out before i did, so he's been excited for me," she continues the line of thought, smiling slightly at the memory. in fact, moon was the biggest supporter of her moving out finally, next to her best friend maggie. when he replies, a new barrage of questions floods out of her brain, only barely held back by her rationality. 'why not?' 'what else would you be doing if not this?' 'did you ever teach boxing too?' after a pause, she settles on just one question, one that hopefully isn't too prying. ( as much as she wants to dig a little more. ) "did you ever imagine being a bodyguard growing up? protect people for a living?" tilts her head in curiosity, eyes finally staying on him for more than a few seconds.
she hums at his question, genuinely having to think a bit harder to come up with an answer. ( of course she noticed him taking three servings of the stew; but kept it as a pleased thing in her chest, not commenting in fear he'd pull back. ) "mulnaengmyeon, i think. they're cold noodles," she says with a resound nod, satisfied with her answer, "i don't think it's much of a fall-type food though . . ."
the flash of nico's smile makes her physically react. she manages not to stop smiling abruptly, but she feels it — in her stomach, in her chest — hit her like vertigo. it's warm and hot and too much and she almost pauses too long at his question because he grins again and she hopes to hell that it passes off as her thinking. "uh- is it sad that i can't really remember anything too bad?" she replies lamely, cheeks rapidly rising in colour, "maybe that i constantly said no to the styling they gave me on disney, but i'd only get my way half the time . . ."
#nico tbd#c: star#sorry u got a lot of inner monologue here#bc nico just . . never speaks out loud i guess jknbfdnjkfd

― dancer youtubers!lee heeseung x gn!dance major!reader
sparks fly when the top two dancers on youtube collab!
genre: slow-burn fluff, s2l
wc: 3.9k (omg i'm sorry) + 2 twitter pics
warnings: probably some wrong dance terminology, slightly suggestive (the dance is just 😳), short timeskip, it's cheesy please bear with me
part of my youtuber enhypen series, the fifth upload! feel free to read on its own~ ♞──────────────────────────♞
you finish off your last move with your arms wide open, your chest heaving up and down from lack of breath. smiling nevertheless, you know you absolutely love the feeling of getting your breath taken away after dancing because you know it meant you did your best. you walk towards the camera lens and peek at the comments through your open laptop.
"did you all enjoy that?" you ask breathlessly grinning. the flooding comments are filled with compliments from your cover of nct u's boss. however, one comment, in particular, caught your eye as others seemed to reply to it.
heeseung ✔ 2s ago wow that was amazing do you wanna do a collab sometime? 😊
line break insurance you've failed me 5x already
your eyes widen as you let out a gasp. "is that the lee heeseung?" you accidentally say out loud. you wince at the realization of your mistake. the comments are both praising you for your success in getting noticed by the other top dancer on youtuber and relating to your remark.
heeseung ✔ 3s ago haha yes it's me dm me if you want to hear more about it 🤍
"oh wow... this is really cool..." you state before blinking to get you out of your stupor. "well everyone, that's going to be all for y/n's motion of dance today! thank you so much for tuning in, love you!"
you wave goodbye for a few more moments and then shut off the broadcast, closing your laptop as soon as you do. you blink twice and suddenly let out a scream.
you stop with a gasp and cover your mouth with your hands because you cannot believe you forgot that your dance studio isn't the most soundproof of places. "sorry, other dance students..." you whisper to them but more for yourself.
taking a look around your escape, your passion, you can't believe you've made it to where you are, being praised as one of the top dancers on such a vast social media platform like youtube. if anything, you guess it runs in your family, after all, you are related to choi yeonjun, who is considered 4th gen's it boy.
though people were skeptical of you at first when you came on the youtube scene as a dancer after your older brother started taking more to modeling and acting, you quickly proved them wrong by showing them your talent and bloomed from then on. of course, you can't forget to mention the person who skyrocketed just around the same time as you.
and that was the aforementioned lee heeseung. you sigh as you finish packing up your clothes and things to head back to your dorm, glancing out the window to see the sun beginning to set. it seems today was a rare early finish for you.
"i could go for a coffee... i need to finish my classics essay anyway," you mumble to yourself, throwing your bag over your shoulder before hitting the showers and changing into a more casual set of clothes. the finishing touch is a baseball cap that sits snug on your head. tightening the strap on the back and grabbing your backpack and dance bag, you finally take your leave of your beloved dance studio and return the key on the way out. fresh air meets your face, allowing you to take a whiff of the cherry blossoms that have been blooming for a month or so as you make your way to the campus café.
ding ding, the coffee shop's calm doorbell welcomes you as your nose is hit by the sweet smells of freshly ground coffee beans. "welcome!" one of the servers calls at the counter, smiling at your figure that walks closer to order. "what can i get you?"
"hi, may i have..." you scan the menu quickly for a familiar drink. "a honey cinnamon iced latte please?"
"of course, name please?"
"choi y/n," you reply.
if they recognize you, they don't make any notion of it, simply scribbling your name on the plastic cup as you make your payment. you're grateful for the normal interaction and the peacefulness of the café, especially after a surprising stream. "i'll call you when your order's ready, choi y/n-ssi," they inform you with a warm grin.
"thank you," you smile back before going to find a seat. spotting a relatively private area close by with only a pair of boys sitting at the booth, you decide to take the booth two spaces away from them. one boy, you notice, sits taller than the other, but his face is covered by a baseball cap. the other looks like a freshman, his cheeks accentuated by a pair of deep dimples.
as you take your seat, you can't help but think the boy with dimples looks rather familiar but can't seem to place your finger on it. shrugging, you simply begin preparing to write your essay by taking out your laptop and notes from your classics ge. the moment you finish is when you hear your name being called.
"choi y/n-ssi, your honey cinnamon iced latte," the server's voice calls. on your way to receive your awaiting drink, you can finally hear the voices of the two boys sitting two booths down from you.
"did your crush just say choi y/n?" the one with the hat says.
'yes, that's me,' you think to yourself nonchalantly.
"weren't you just watching their stream, heeseung hyung?" another voice says as you pick up your latte and thank the server.
wait, heeseung? as in lee heeseung? it's when you turn around with your drink in hand that you notice the two males looking straight at you. now you're able to make out the features of the boy with the cap, and there's no mistaking it.
"lee heeseung?" you mutter out loud at the same time he speaks out yours.
well, maybe that wasn't what you were expecting today, but hey, life is full of surprises, even if they are one after the other for you. after that unexpected encounter, you and heeseung acquainted yourselves, he invited you to sit with them, and now you're sitting at their table, awkwardly sipping on your latte.
"right, so should i leave?" the other boy, who you found out is studytuber and vlogger yang jungwon (which is why he looked familiar to you), blurts out. you chuckle as heeseung shakes his shoulder lightly. "what? you two clearly have to talk about something, i need to study."
"yea, yea, lover boy. make sure you say bye to your crush on the way out," the male dancer teases, causing the younger one to turn bright red.
"don't call me that, hyung," he mutters before picking up his bag and leaving the booth. sure enough, you watch as jungwon passes by the counter and erupts into a nervous mess the moment the server beams at him.
"ah... so he likes them?" you think out loud.
"yup, it's been almost four months now. i'm the reason he even knows this cafe and that server exists," heeseung mentions, making you nod courteously. he turns his attention back to you with his hand placed under his chin. "but their relationship is besides the point. let's talk about us."
"d-did you have to put it that way?" the forwardness catches you off-guard, and you suddenly have a harder time swallowing a sip of your coffee.
"sorry," he says with a teasing smile. "i just think the collab i mentioned would be good for both of us, and it'll be really fun too."
"i agree, people who like you will come to me and vice versa," you nod. "but do you know what we would be dancing to?"
"so does that mean you're in?" he asks, smile starting to grow on his face. wordlessly, you roll your eyes and hold out your hand for him to shake. that's when his full smile comes out, causing your cheeks to heat up as you think about how much more handsome it makes him look. taking your hand, heeseung shakes it with his vigorously. "alright, dance partner, we have a deal."
after much deliberation and research, the two of you finally agree on troublemaker by the duo hyuna and hyunseung. heeseung suggested this song, stating that he always wanted to do the choreo with somebody and that it's destiny that both males have a name that starts with h and ends with seung. quite frankly, it's not like you could find much anyway, besides some cool music bank mc stages, it is cool that troublemaker was originally an opposite-gender duo in the korean entertainment industry.
the choreography however is an entirely different story. at many points, hyuna's body is touched by hyunseung and vice versa, but if they can do it and stay professional, then you believe you can too. besides, dancing will always be just dancing. heeseung also assures you that if you want, the two of you can just have your hands hovering, which makes you feel relieved to have an understanding partner.
hours pass by, and you and heeseung decide to meet at your usual dance studio daily after all your classes, which wasn't hard because he also frequented the same one.
"i still can't believe we attend the same university," you say aloud as the both of you pack up your laptops and supplies.
"i know right, you would think one of us would recognize the dance studio we go to 24/7, right?" he laughs. "although, i've seen you use a different one sometimes."
"do you really watch my covers and streams often?" you ask baffled. he and you wave the workers goodbye and make your way to the brisk evening air waiting outside as the staff sends you off.
"i do, is that so hard to believe?"
"a little," you reply sheepishly.
"well, let me walk you to your dorm and prove to you how much of a choi y/n stan i am," he boasts, and you let yourself laugh freely as you walk beside him to your destination.
it's strange, knowing a famous youtuber you watched also knew and followed you, but then again, you're not exactly nobody either. when heeseung drops you off, he admits that he actually lives a few floors above you and that you two can walk home together after each rehearsal. it's even stranger, knowing a famous youtuber literally has been on your campus, in the same dorm building as you, and this whole time, the two of you have both been clueless as to the other's existence as an ordinary college student.
speaking of which, he can't be a dance major, right? otherwise, you would've already seen him! these thoughts keep you tossing and turning to the point you don't register when you fell asleep. when you wake up, you feel as if you didn't get any sleep at all, but get up and ready nevertheless, going through another regular day as a dance major.
by the time your classes are over, you walk out of the studio yawning about to stop by your dorm to freshen up and maybe fit in a nap. you're holding a hand over your mouth mid-yawn when a voice starts talking to you.
"good thing i stopped by to get coffee." you open your eyes and close your mouth to see lee heeseung holding two cups of coffee. he's dressed in an oversized white shirt and grey sweatpants, a common dance practice outfit, so why is your heart skipping so many beats. "yo, choi y/n."
"heeseung," you say, still shocked. he hands you the coffee, which is actually the same flavor you got yesterday. "thanks."
"no problem," he replies coolly. "maybe we should take a break before we get to it?"
"i'll be fine, how about we can start watching the choreo?"
"they're always ready to dance," he nods with an impressed smile. "as expected of a dance major."
the two of you walk inside and book a studio for a few hours as you raise an eyebrow at him. "wait, what major are you?"
"music production."
"that makes so much sense!" you say relieved, stepping into the studio room for the umpteenth time. "i was racking my brains wondering what major you were."
"so the famous choi y/n is curious about me?" he smirks. you groan and facepalm in response. "i'm kidding, i'm kidding. let's watch the video on my tablet?"
nodding, the two of you watch carefully, eyes glued to the screen at your respective roles. you hold your breath at some touchy parts but also notice that both idols were able to shine in their solos.
"a few tweaks here and there, and it'll be perfect," heeseung comments once the video is over. "but let's go over some boundaries, yeah? let me know what you're comfortable with and what you're not."
"right," you agree, once again relieved to have such a safe and understanding partner like him. "well, i think i'm okay with you touching my arms, shoulders, and hips like hyunseung did to hyuna. i just need some time to get used to it."
"alright, that sounds good," he says nodding with a hand under his chin. "then for today, i'll just hover my hands over the places they need to be."
"what a gentleman," you tease.
he rolls his eyes playfully at you. "let's start marking."
and so that's what the two of you start on. with the video on the tablet, you go through the motions with the speed lowered, eventually picking up more moves until you're able to follow at the normal speed. as expected of the top two dancers on youtube, the two of you are quick on observing and learning the dance and get done with basic marking within 20 minutes or so.
after marking, you take a quick water break to watch the video again in full detail, officially beginning your first real practice. as promised, throughout the entirety of marking, heeseung has kept his hands to himself, but you've become comfortable enough to have him do a little more.
before you start practicing for real, you decide to speak with him. "hee," you call him as he puts down his water bottle.
"hm?" he confirms that you have his attention, looking up with his large doe-like eyes while wiping his mouth off from some excess water.
"uhm.." you fidget with your top a little before mustering up some courage. "you can do light touches now for the choreo."
"really? are you sure?" you nod at his question, causing him to come up to you and ruffle your hair lightly. you bat his hands away with a pout, smoothing out the mess he made as he laughs at you. "that's great, y/n," he says with a bright smile, unknowingly making your heart beat a little faster as you nod again. in your head, you rush to cover up the physical reaction with an excuse that it's just from the amount of exercise you've done.
the two of you stand in front of the mirror, ready to go. before the music starts, heeseung turns to you and says, "just let me know if i make you uncomfortable at all."
"i'll be fine," you reassure him with a small smile. that's when the song begins, and the sparks start to fly. every move flowed like water, yet every touch between the two of you was like electricity as if the two elements were working together instead of fighting. even though the touches are light, they still put chills up your spine, in a way that you can only describe with the phrase "meant to happen."
was fate moving its course to put this match together, or were you imagining it? you're not sure, but you grin while catching your breath once the first practice is over. falling to the floor softly, you sit with your hands splayed behind you and let out a relieved sigh. "ahh... dancing is so... great!"
heeseung chuckles at your reaction and offers a hand to get you up. "i'm glad you think that because we got a lot more practice ahead of us, partner."
"yup!" you say with a widening smile. the moment you took his hand, you felt an electric jolt that almost made you let go. getting up, you shake it off and barely catch the expression on your dance partner's face. "is something the matter?"
he blinks a bit before he's shaking his head with that charming smirk of his. "nope! let's practice!"
practice, practice, practice. that's how the next few hours go. and just like the day before, heeseung walks you to your dorm building, this time the conversation about how excited the two of you are for the recording.
that's basically how the next four or so days go, now that heeseung came into your life. your daily routine of wake up, eat, class, dance, repeat was shaken by him, because now he was a part of it. it's an indescribable feeling, hanging out with him. the best word, or phrase actually, is the same one you used while dancing with him: meant to be.
so when you finally get to the day of recording, you almost don't want it to end. at least, that's what you're telling your best friend and makeup artist, kim sunoo.
"friend, you're telling me that you and this guy have been following along to..." he tells you to look up as he curls your eyelashes. "a dance like that for four days and you've been getting shocks this whole time?"
"i mean, yeah?"
"y/n, i love you, but you're missing a little something, aren't you?"
"wha-!?"
"pucker up, sweetie, we're making your lips look kissable," sunoo commands. you do an eye-roll but do as he says. "if you don't ask him out or do something by the end of this, you can at least kiss your best shot at a boyfriend goodbye with luscious lips."
he finishes applying the color and asks you to rub your lips together and make that pop sound. "perfect," your best friend compliments. "go out there and get your mans."
"thank you, sunoo!" you say, gazing at your reflection in the mirror and loving the way he accentuated your features. "by the way, you're all talk. you should ask your celebrity crush out when they appear on your channel."
"i'll get there when i get there!" he whines and starts pushing you out of his dorm room. "just go get 'em, tiger."
with that, you make your way to the dance studio where heeseung is waiting for you, dressed in hyunseung's iconic suit with the leopard-patterned blazer. your heart quickens, seeing how much more handsome he looks dressed up, hair slicked back and some makeup done. he looks up upon hearing the door open and his mouth slightly hangs open as well.
the both of you are silent as you approach him, in your equally bedazzling outfit, sheer to mimic hyuna's stage dress. "you look amazing," the two of you say at the same time. stunned at the simultaneous sentence, you two immediately start guffawing at how this was unlike your usual interactions.
"that was so awkward!" you blurt out, unable to contain your laughter.
"yea, not like us at all," he admits while he wipes a stray tear from laughing too hard away. smiling at each other, you admire the way his eyes reflect your image and sparkle. "you ready to get this show on the road."
"ready as i'll ever be." the two of you get into your positions on the opposite ends of the room, and heeseung starts the camera and the music soon after. you take each step slowly to meet him in the middle as he takes your hand and brings it up to his lips to give it a kiss while smirking. you keep your face professional as the two of you take a few steps forward, the back of his fingers curled over the front of yours.
starting back-to-back, you walk forward a bit before the beat drops and heeseung's part begins. you're on autopilot as you dance your fingers from his chest to his shoulders, and then the chorus comes. hips swaying, you're able to feel his hands' light taps on your body as the two of you lose yourself to the music you've danced to hundreds of times this week.
then, it's your killing part as you lipsync hyuna's rap and take bold steps around heeseung's body, ending up behind him to bring your hands over his shoulders and make a scratching movement across his chest. you step towards his side, do your thing, and walk away as if playing hard to get.
you wait for his part during the bridge and make a side glance towards him before moving towards him and performing the hip-heavy part of the chorus together. your partner moves his face up along your arm, taking it in like you're a statue. you then act like you brush him away when heeseung gets close enough. after this second chorus, you're leaving him to do his big solo, watching carefully as he makes his every move precise and crisp yet flow well.
it's the last chorus now, and this time, you can't take your eyes off each other as you finally face one another. you stay drowning in his shades of brown without a single misstep until you have to walk away from him. you wait for him to come towards you, back slightly turned away as he jaunts forward, making his way to be captured by your hand behind his neck.
the last breath of the song is the one where you're supposed to turn your head away as his own chases yours, but this time, you brave forward and lean in close. the music fades away, but all you hear is his breathing, feeling it against your own.
you stay like this, ensnared in each other's arms, forgetting about everything except the person wrapped close to you as you feel his every breath against your lips and every inhale and exhale under your hand. he searches your eyes, looking for some kind of sign. "do you mind if i—"
that was all you needed before you're pressing your lips against his. it only takes seconds for him to kiss you back, moving his hands from their previous position on your hips to hold your face. becoming breathless from dancing was one thing, becoming breathless from kissing heeseung was another thing entirely, it was in a league of its own you note as you pull away and rest your forehead on his.
"we'll have to edit that out," you say after what seemed like ages of taking each other in while chuckling.
"i have a better idea than editing."
"oh, and what's that, handsome?"
"look at you getting all bold, troublemaker," heeseung replies with that smile of his. he shakes his head, moving away from you and taking your hand in his. "how about we go on our first official date as youtube's top dancer couple?"
"that does sound like a better idea," you agree, your own smile widening.
"then let's make it happen, sweetheart."

Hey Rosie, this is an ask about you and not related to bangtan/Jikook, I hope that’s ok! I’m curious on your process of teaching yourself English. Did you consciously make the decision to learn English or did you find yourself naturally picking it up quickly? I think you’ve mentioned before that you learned from reading books? How was that process like? If you had to learn English from the beginning again, what would you do differently? You consider yourself bilingual right? Do you consider yourself fluent in both the oral and written language (you definitely seem fluent in your writing to me)? I only ask because I know some people who are significantly more fluent in written vs oral and vice versa. Is Spanish and English sentence structures similar? I know the sentence structures for Korean/Japanese is a bit different and native English speakers tend to struggle with that especially when translating back to English. I’m curious but can you distinguish between different dialects/accents in English? Like could you tell a ‘New Yorker’ accent from a ‘Valley’ accent? Or like even Australian accent vs British accents? I hope these questions don’t offend you in any way as I am just curious with my lame monolingual ass lol.
Ahh hello anon! Wow that's a lot of questions. I'll try to answer them as best I can so this answer will be long.
Did you consciously make the decision to learn English or did you find yourself naturally picking it up quickly?
I honestly don't remember. I've always liked music in English so when I was little I always used to download the lyrics of a song and the Spanish translated version, that way I would learn the song and what it meant at the same time and with that I learned to relate English words with their Spanish translation so if I saw the word again somewhere else I knew what it meant. I also used to watch a lot of series and films in English, with subtitles of course and I think that also helped me to recognise words, phrases etc., to the point that it became natural for me. A lot of YouTubers I followed when I was younger helped too. I don't know if that can be interpreted as me picking it up quickly, but I feel like it was natural for me, even though up until that point my English was average.
I remember that in the state tests in my country? I don't know how to call them in English, the ones you do when you are about to finish high school, I came out with a B1, but I don't know if that was correct at the time aajajaaj.
I think you’ve mentioned before that you learned from reading books? How was that process like?
This is funny. It all started because one day I was flipping through channels on my TV and I came across the movie Twilight aajajaaj. I liked the movie and decided to look up more about it. You see, I am an extremely curious person and must know everything when something interests me. So I had to know more about the movie ahahha I found out that it was based on some books, so obviously I had to download them aajajaaj. I remember finding the first two books translated into Spanish so I had no problem with them, the problem was when I wanted to read the third book.
You see, the book hadn't been out for long so I couldn't find a Spanish-translated version for free ajajaja, I could only find the book in English and well, I wanted to read the book! So I said, it can't be that bad. I downloaded the book and started reading it. Many of the words I read I didn't know what they meant so I had to look up the Spanish translation to better understand what the book was saying. That was TORTUOUS because that book was BIG, with many pages, so it took me some time to read it aajajaaj. After that, I remember I read the Fifty Shades series. Luckily, I found the 3 books translated into Spanish so I had no problems, but after reading them I decided to download the books in English and read the series again, that helped me a lot because I used to put the two books side by side to understand much better what I was reading in English, the translation was there. From then on I did the same with many books, after a while I didn't need a dictionary or use a translator, it just became normal I guess, for me to read in English.
Although sometimes I still need a translator, either to translate a word or a short sentence.
If you had to learn English from the beginning again, what would you do differently
I would definitely go to an academy or school I don't know, to learn in a more formal way hahahahahahahahahah.
For me it's a bit difficult because I know how to say something, but I couldn't explain why it is like that. I couldn't explain why the sentence structure is X way and not Y way. My brother always asks me to teach him to speak English and to understand the language better and we never make progress because I don't know how to explain it to him. He usually asks me why something it is said this way and not that way or why it is Have and not Has for example, and I don't know how to answer him or explain, I just know that it is like this and not another way ahaahha
You consider yourself bilingual right?
Honestly, no.
Do you consider yourself fluent in both the oral and written language (you definitely seem fluent in your writing to me)?
Ahhh thanks, anon. I'm definitely more fluent in written language. What I know, I learned from reading mostly so my pronunciation sucks. I know what to say, how to say it, but when I open my mouth it doesn't sound as nice ahahaah I can definitely carry on a conversation in English, but I know my pronunciation won't be the best. And I'm not talking about having an accent, I'm talking about the pronunciation of the words. In hindsight, I should have listened to more audiobooks in English ahahaah.
Is Spanish and English sentence structures similar?
Ohh not at all. The structure is different; the conjugation of verbs is different. Sometimes the order of words in a sentence is different.
can you distinguish between different dialects/accents in English?
Not always. Obviously, I can distinguish between an American accent and a British accent because it is obvious, but I can't do the same with the different accents in the USA. Differentiating between a UK accent and an Australian or New Zealand accent, for example, is a bit easier but I think that's because I consume more content from those countries, mainly from the UK.

02 liner aussie girl joining the group
Masterlist
...
Bang Chan
° Sees you as a little sister, and will baby you nonstop for that reason alone. Expect very long hugs and him trying to beg you for some affection.
° Let Felix take charge in helping you around JYP, watching from afar like a proud father. Even if you aren't much younger than the members, he can't help but become a giddy mess when you literally do anything.
° Since he sees you as a little sister, that also means he is very protective over you. Not even Minho can tease you for too long without Chan becoming a bit tense. He just doesn't want you to ever feel uncomfortable.
° Does many vlives with you, chatting about your life and what parts of Australia you grew up in. Whenever he is introducing you or if you call him during a vlive, he'll call you little sissy.
° Many stays have made edits of Chan babying you or treating you like a literal angel, you both have watched edits like these and neither of you can deny that he doesn't do either of those things.
"My little sissy y/n did great today in our dance practice, isn't that right sissy?" he asked, sitting you on his lap.
"Yeah, Minho Oppa helped me learn quite a bit. But I couldn't have succeeded it without my personal cheerleader Chris." You replied.
Lee Know
° Doesn't make a huge deal out of it, is honestly just really happy to have a new member. He doesn't care that your a girl or a fellow aussie, just sees you as a member.
° If you are ever struggling with Korean he'll do his best to try and help you, even if it is only on small thing such as the way you pronounce words. He admits to finding your struggles pretty adorable.
° Even though he is a huge tease, he'll go easy on you for the first two months. Letting you get settled in and get use to the chaotic behavior of all of them. But after those months pass, he'll start to tease.
° Minho likes to challenge you to dance battles during practice, seeing if you will ever beat him on one. But luckily whenever Snsd comes on you are in your element, showing him the true Gee master.
° Minho has a soft spot fro you due toy your age, he won't tease you too harshly and won't get mad if you don't remember one of his cat's names. All of the members notice his new soft spot for you.
"So I know Soonie, Doongie... And?" you sighed, trying to remember the third cat of Minho's.
"Dori, it's okay. At least you remembered two of them." He reassured, Felix looking at him with shock from across the room.
Changbin
°When he heard that you would be joining the group, he hoped that you wouldn't make fun of him as much as the other members. And if you did, it wouldn't be too harsh.
° Appreciated that you weren't teasing him 24/7, and if you are shorter than him then he would be very smiley and giddy for days. Changbin likes your company and would often want to hang around you.
° Buys you coffee/tea every morning, and only you (occasionally Felix). And when the members ask, he explains that you earned your coffee/tea by not teasing him. Even if they haven't teased him for days.
° You are his favorite member, even if he won't admit it... Everyone knows it. You are his best friend and he doesn't want that relationship to change. Unlike the fan's pov, he sees you only as a best friend.
° Whenever he does a vlive with you, your ship name is all over the chat. Neither of you speak out about it, but both of you don't like each other in that way. And it makes situations awkward when they ship you two.
"I can't believe we're a ship, that is so weird to me." You chuckled, scrolling through Instagram on your phone.
"I know right! I don't get why a girl and a guy can't be friends without people shipping them." He sighed, clearly frustrated.
Hyunjin
° Becomes putty in your hands, he just finds everything about you adorable. It also doesn't help that you are Australian, which he happens to have an interest in.
° He wouldn't describe his feelings towards you as a crush, more as a little sister and der brother relationship. He would feel weird if you ever developed something for him, since he is too close to you to be a couple.
° Very clingy towards you, constantly draping himself across you. Or sitting you on his lap when you are worn out from practice, he often let's you take naps on him. He also treats you to sweets, even when on diets.
° Hyunjin once got frustrated over how JYP was treating you, giving you an extreme diet even though you were already working hard enough. So he'd reassure you that him and Chan would talk with JYP about it.
° Hyunjin can be seen copying your accent, whether it be for fun or just to tease you. He'll copy or pick up on your accent, many fan's hearts melting at his determination to be part of the aussie line.
"I shouldn't be having this cupcake." You sighed, placing the cupcake you've been eyeing for the past few minutes.
"Screw JYP, eat what you want. You are your own person and shouldn't listen to some old man." He defended, passing the cupcake.
Han
° Was the first member you met, even though it was by total accident. You both ran into each other when he was leaving the building and you were entering.
° You dropped the coffee all onto yourself in shock, making him chuckle as he tried to help you clean yourself up. He helped you into JYP, having no clue that you are going to be the new member joining.
° When Chan introduced you to the members the next day, Han was shocked. He was surprised to see a familiar face, but was also pleased knowing you seemed to be quite a sweet and charming person.
° You both are the stars whenever on reality shows together, many seeing you both as a chaotic duo. Doni and Coni once tried to correct you, telling you that women shouldn't be so hyper. Han got pissed.
° Not only did Han correct them on their manners, but also told them that a man shouldn't tell a woman what to do. Many fans and netizens applauded him for protecting his new and sweet Maknae.
"I swear those guys get on my nerves sometimes, don't listen to them." He sighed, patting your head softly.
"It's okay Hannie, I'm glad that I have some older brothers to stand up for me." You reassured, melting his heart.
Felix
° You are nervous to be around Felix, not because he's intimidating or harsh. But because he is so nice and angelic, and you don't want to develop a crush on a member.
° Even if you don't see him in that light at first, it will happen eventually because he has such an addicting energy that surround him. Felix is a sunshine, and it isn't hard to see why everyone loves him.
° Felix wants to make you feel as comfortable as possible, usually being the member picking up pads/tampons for you. He secretly develops a small crush on you, but he knows it would end up bad.
° You both would be worried about it ending bad due to the popularity of the band, Felix's popularity, your new career, and JYP's strict rules. So both of you don't truly progress that side of your relationship.
° It could blossom into something more serious in the future, but for right now it is just a mutual crush that both of you must hide. Your friendship is still very strong nonetheless, and you appreciate that.
"Okay here's a hard question, Back Door or All In?" you asked, as the managers watched you both from behind the camera.
"Neither because you aren't in them." He answered, trying to play it off as playful more so than flirtatious.
Seungmin
° Seungmin is your dorm mate, who always manages to make your nights more calm. He reassures you every night that you are doing great, even if you don't believe him.
° You both wrote down a schedule for dishes, laundry, cooking ect. The only exceptions to it is having a terrible day, birthday, or being sick. Either than that then you must follow the schedule stuck into the fridge.
° You both have derpy photos of each other as your wallpapers, both being taken when both of you just woke up. Seungmin can't help but giggle silently whenever he opens up his phone, looking at your bed head.
° Seungmin helps you out with waking up, letting you get use to the schedule of being an idol. Taking as many pillows to the face as he needs to for you to finally wake up, Once getting feathers in his hair due to it.
° Many think you both knew each other before you became a member, but you both explained that you just understand each other well and clicked when you met. Neither of you grew up together.
"Is today you dish day or mine?" he asked, bottle of soap already in his hand ready to begin cleaning.
"Mine, but I had a terrible day today. JYP critiqued everything about me." You huffed, getting a soft hug from Seungmin.
Jeongin
° Is glad he won't be babied as much since he isn't the maknae anymore, but will miss the benefits of being able to aegyo your way out of responsibilities.
° All of the members call you the babies or the baby line, even if either of you ar taller than some of them. Jeongin is also appreciative that he now has someone to relate to with being a babied quite often.
° He'll still call you noona just to get under your skin, but you honestly don't mind being called noona or unnie. Especially since some stays are younger than you, but you can become playfully annoyed at times.
° Jeongin will warm up to you very fast and treat you like a sister, he'll spoil you with stuffies and share his food with you every meal. Even though mama gets scold him for it, he doesn't care and continues to do it.
° Chan will cover both of your eyes when the members do something sexy, even if you kind of want to see it (mostly to tease them). But you understand why, since both fo you will get flustered by it easily.
"Y/n noona likes to steal my food sometimes." Jeongin admitted to fans, smiling at your playful glare.
"You share your food and insist I eat it Jeongin Oppa." You defend, watching the fans respond to the situation.
