i tried to play into tumblr's automatic video looping but you can also watch it on youtube with subtitles for the dialogue, it's not that important, it's more about the idea of the loop than the experience
#agatha all along#not perfect but im pretty pleased with this as a first impression#i mean it's literally only been 3 days it's gonna take simmering for a while before i come up with like#the really interesting ideas and visuals#but this already has some potential#i especially like the second verse#the 'please let him live' with the dandelion and rio blowing the protection sand circle away#giving response to the request but not in any way agatha can understand#and that sequence of dandelion-rio-baby is just so on point both idea-wise and rhythm-wise#and the covens/hands/binding ritual part#'you hold nothing' -> agathas empty (healed by rio) hand and her three of swords#i also like the second refrain/fighting sequence#especially the sequence of agatha killing her coven-dead witches become knife on the floor-she looks at it-death looks at her#anyway. nice to make a video again#already started a second one for them but i dont know when im finishing that one since my editing program situation is not ideal rn#and also i have homework to do

what's so interesting is that agatha and nicky clearly had their cons well-oiled, and at the end it seems they even started turning their song into a part of it as well, like i don't think that was the first time nicky sang that song for an audience and they used it to lure witches (i do think it's the first time that it /technically/ didn't work), and how after nicky died it continued to gain popularity and be so well-known it became a legend, and along with that agatha being known as the only survivor of the road and people (like billy) seeking her out to walk it or just for knowledge of it. and i think that had been the idea when they first started using it as a con. making it so they no longer had to travel and scavenge, using it as a lure to bring the witches to them in order to keep nicky alive, but only one small misstep and rio got him anyway
and then thinking about how lorna, who had a generational curse placed upon her family that is going to kill both her and her daughter and who desperately wants to see her daughter survive, heard this song and created her own version to use as a protection spell for her daughter and, like agatha did before her, she made her version so well-known and so popular that years and years after death it's still protecting her daughter, until ultimately her daughter was finally able to use it to break the curse and save herself
idk just.. they're like two sides of the same coin, or distorted mirrors of each other
agathas love was so powerful and so strong that death gave nicky time
lornas love was so powerful and so strong that the ballad gave alice time and even freed her
if nicky hadnt been taken that night, could it have eventually freed him as well? rio said agatha used the dark magic of the darkhold to hide herself from rio, so was that the end goal? they'd continue to lure witches to both keep nicky alive and to have agatha become powerful enough to forever keep them hidden?
#agatha all along#aaa spoilers#agatha harkness#nicholas scratch#alice wu gulliver#lorna wu#txt#me before the finale: and i'll save this song to use the lyrics to make gifsets of agatha x rio since i'll finally have more scenes to use#me after the finale: lorna/alice and agatha/nicholas parallels let's goooo#and there's something so poetic about how alice died too#like the song worked for her in ways it could never have worked for nicky#the song saved her like it never could nicky and like it was supposed to for nicky#and ultimately she dies the same as all the witches who had been drained to keep nicky living#do you think instead of just a loss of control agathas grief and bitterness chose to take from alice#because why should what was meant to save nicky save her instead?#i wonder if that moment when she watches it fizzle does she think of lorna?#does hearing nicky's voice allow her to see the similarities from a different perspective instead of through her grief#through her love of her son and connect it to lorna's love of her daughter? their struggle was the same for as much as it was different#idk it's just... agatha was planning to drain them from the start#why was /this/ one different. why did she have that look on her face after#especially after being confronted with her own mother who would have seen her die

OK so I don't know if anyone has pointed this out already but
This is how the screen looks like for the most part of the show:
It's not at the aspect ratio of 16:9 so there's this black bar on top and below throughout most of the show (when the coven is not stuck in a trial and on The Road)
BUT the show would shift into "fullscreen mode" closer to 16:9 (without the black bars) in these scenes:
ONLY when the coven is going through their trials in the houses
The weird thing about today's ep is that during the trial the aspect ratio did not change at all (you can still see the black bars!):
so my theory is that MAYBE today's ep was never a trial but could be a trap, an illusion set up by the Salem Seven? Especially since the witches have crashed into the creepy bug lady which could explain why they got captured into Salem Seven's trap
TLDR: the aspect ratio in today's ep could be hinting that our dysfunctional coven might still be on The Road, trapped by Salem Seven, but not inside a trial
AND most importantly if this is all Salem Seven's doing, then maybe Alice is indeed still alive!! I am not delulu I swear!!!
Edit: and yes this could also explain why everyone is acting so weird in this ep because it could be agatha's illusion and she's reenacting her trauma of being abandoned & betrayed by her original coven with these new people she met (except for Rio of course because they're wives)
Edit 2: fixed some wordings because apparently when I wrote this I wasn't in the right mind and forgot the phrase "aspect ratio" exist💀 thank you reblog tags

Two professors and a student (Part 3)
Word count: 2700
Warnings: phone sex (kinda?), smut, masturbation, sex
It’s the first Monday of your winter break, and you’re back on campus. Rio had sent out an email to everyone in the course saying that if anyone wanted, she would be in her office all day so you could look at your graded exams. She hadn’t put the grades into your student portal yet, so your heart is pounding as you climb up the stairs to the science building.
From nerves, yes, but also at the prospect of seeing Rio again.
You hadn’t heard from her since the text Saturday morning, and yet, you had been able to think of little else. Thoughts of her and Agatha had plagued your mind all weekend and now you weren’t sure how to interact with Rio in an educational setting.
Should you bring up the dinner tomorrow night? Or just pretend that you were her student and nothing more?
What if there were other students from your class in her office right now? You sort of hope that’s the case and then you won’t have to stress about it.
But of course, when you knock on her office door and then push it open, it’s only Rio.
She’s sitting at her desk, looking expectantly at you, like she knew you would be coming.
“Hey,” you say, voice sounding more shaky than you intended.
“Y/n, to what do I owe the pleasure?” She asks, tone silky and suggestive. You gulp and take a few more steps in the office, not missing the way the door clicks shut behind you.
“I wanted to see my exam?” It comes out as a question instead of a statement. God, it’s almost embarrassing how much this woman affects you, especially after the other night.
“Of course you did,” Rio says smugly and stands up. She moves some papers around on her desk. Once she finds it, she holds it out to you so you’re forced to close the distance and take it from her.
Inhaling deeply, you chance a peek at the top and are pleasantly surprised to find a 97% scribbled on the paper. You exhale slowly and you can almost feel the tension seeping out of your body. All the effort you had put in had paid off.
You flip through the pages of the exam to see where you messed up. You’re so focused on reading her feedback that you don’t notice Rio has moved right behind you until you feel her hot breath on your neck.
You stiffen and you can feel goosebumps creep up your body.
“You did so well,” she says, practically whispering it into your ear. “Your attention to detail, the amount of care you put into your work, it’s impressive.”
“Thank you,” you manage to squeak, hands wrinkling the paper from how tight you’re holding onto it. Her fingers come up to lightly play with your hair and you’re having trouble reading the words on the paper. All you can think about is Rio.
“What do you think about going to Herb’s tomorrow night?” She murmurs. Herb’s is probably the fanciest steakhouse in town. You whirl around, startling when you realize just how close she actually is to you. Her lips (not that you’re looking) are probably three inches from yours. You can see the little specks of gold in her dark eyes.
“I couldn’t, that’s too much,” you protest, but she puts a finger to your mouth. You freeze.
“Agatha and I want to reward you for being such a good girl for us,” she says and a thrill runs through you. “That’s who you are, right?”
You think you’ve forgotten how to breathe. You nod ever so slightly, afraid to move too much since her finger still hasn’t left your mouth.
And then she grabs your chin with her hand, causing you to gasp at the sudden roughness, her thumb coming to stroke lightly at your bottom lip. You part your lips reflexively and she smirks, delighting in the obvious effect she has on you.
“Say it,” she urges.
“I’m your good girl,” you rasp, heat now flaring in your stomach. Her eyes are locked on yours and you can see desire clouding in them. You’re positive yours look the exact same. Her thumb swipes against your lip again, and this time, you flick your tongue out to brush against it. Her eyes flash and she opens her mouth to say something but there’s a knock on the door and you jump back from her.
Rio chuckles sardonically, tongue pushing against her inner cheek, and calls out, “Come in!”
A kid you’ve only seen once or twice in the entire semester pushes open the door and walks in.
“Um, well, thanks for this,” you say, flustered more than you’ve ever been in your life, and hand the test back to Rio.
“Professor Harkness is in her office, if you want to stop by and say hi,” she says casually and you don’t know how she is so composed. Is she telling you to go see her? Did Agatha ask to see you?
You wouldn’t be surprised now if they were counting on you coming to see Rio to see your test. If this whole thing had been planned.
But if anything, you feel like this is confirmation that they want you too.
“Okay,” you say, still a little breathless.
You take a moment to collect yourself once in the hallway again and then in almost a daze, walk to Agatha’s office.
You had spent so much time there in the semester earlier that you could map it with your eyes closed. And even now, when you haven’t been there in months, it still looks the exact same when you finally arrive and go inside.
Sitting at her desk, Agatha looks positively ecstatic that you’re there.
“Rio said–” you begin, but trail off because you’re not sure how to explain what just happened. You’re not sure if Agatha will be jealous. You awkwardly walk over and sit on the couch where you spent so many afternoons.
“How’d you do on her exam?” She asks, but from her grin, she clearly already knows.
“Really good,” you say. “I think better than I did on your final.”
Agatha pouts mockingly. “Trying harder to impress her more than me?”
“No! I don’t – no – that’s not –”
She laughs. “Sweetheart, I’m teasing.” She stands up and comes around to sit next to you on the couch. Her body is tilted towards you and her legs come up so her thigh is against yours. You bite back a gasp at the contact. “Did Rio talk to you about dinner tomorrow?”
You nod and try to contain the blush that is surely spreading on your face, but the memory of Rio calling you a good girl and tasting her thumb on your tongue makes that impossible. “Herb’s?”
“Have you been?” She perches her elbow on the side of the couch and rests her head in her hand, leaning in closer.
“No. It’s too fancy for a broke college student like me,” you answer in a lame attempt at a joke. “You guys really don’t have to take me there.”
Agatha’s other hand comes up to cup your cheek and rub her thumb against it. “Hon, you are so much more than that. And yes, we do. We want to. It’s been awhile since someone has caught our attention like this.”
Your breath hitches. “Like what?” You dare to whisper. You find yourself also leaning in closer and can’t help from glancing down at her lips.
She smirks. “Like this.”
And then she closes the gap and your eyes close in anticipation. But her lips stop when they’re a breath away from yours, maybe just to make sure you want this too. You want this more than life at this point, so you’re the one who makes the first real move and you kiss her. It’s featherlight, just a ghost of a kiss lasting mere seconds, but when you pull back, her normally-blue eyes are dark and hooded.
Her hand on your cheek tangles itself in your hair and she pulls you in to crash your mouths together in a bruising kiss.
You moan into her open mouth when her tongue parts your lips and licks against yours. Her fingers move to scrapple at your hips and you figure out what she wants so you maneuver yourself into her lap without breaking the kiss. Her hands slide under your shirt and just rest against your skin, but you have to pull away to throw your head back and moan at the hot contact. Agatha doesn’t hesitate before kissing down the side of your face and then down your neck. She sucks a bite into the juncture of your neck and shoulder and your hips cant in her lap.
“Fuck,” you gasp and her nails dig into your back. You drag her mouth back to yours, panting into the kiss. You can feel her losing composure as well when her teeth nip aggressively at your lower lip. It turns you on beyond words that you’re having this kind of effect on her.
“Well, would you look at this?” A voice says from the doorway and you jerk back so hard that you topple off Agatha’s lap and onto the couch. Fear spikes through your body as you look and–
–it’s Rio.
Part of you is relieved that it wasn’t anyone else, but then again, you were just caught making out with her girlfriend. Agatha doesn’t look worried at all, though. If anything, she looks proud of herself.
“I didn’t realize when I told you to come here I was giving you permission to whore yourself out,” Rio says cooly as she walks over to the couch.
“I’m sorry,” you whisper and you scramble off the couch, smoothing your shirt down from where it had ridden up. Agatha rolls her eyes amusedly. “I’ll, um, see you guys tomorrow night?”
“Six pm, don’t be late,” Rio says, eyes burning into you as you scurry out of the office.
Your plan is to get to your dorm as fast as possible so you can touch yourself to the memory of the kiss, desperately needing to relieve the ache that has built up in you.
You haven’t even left the building though when your phone rings. You pull it out of your pocket and, much to your surprise, it’s Rio. Is she calling you to tell you to come back? To scold you?
You swipe to answer it and hesitantly lift your phone to your ear. “Hello?”
At first, you don’t hear anything specific, just some muffled sounds. You say something again, but you don’t hear either of them. Did Rio butt-dial you?
You’re about to hang up when you finally hear Rio. But she’s not talking to you.
“How was it?” She says. Her voice sounds far away. Is she asking about you?
“Fuck, Rio, it was so hot,” Agatha says. Your entire body tenses. They’re talking about you.
Your head starts to spin and you frantically look around for somewhere you can go.
“Yeah? It looked hot. She looked so good with her tongue in your mouth, Aggie.”
There’s a bathroom a few yards away. You duck into it and lock yourself in a stall. You’re not sure you could hold the phone any closer to your ear.
“I thought you were going to kiss her, too,” Agatha admits. “I wanted to watch.” Someone scoffs and you think it might be Rio.
“I would’ve earlier if one of my idiot students hadn’t interrupted. You should’ve seen her, so desperate for it.”
“Oh, I think I know what desperation looks like on her.” You can practically hear the smirk in Agatha’s voice and you blush. “And I know what it looks like on you, too.”
Another huff. There’s silence for a moment and you strain your ears so you don’t miss anything. And then there’s the faintest of sounds, almost like a smacking noise. Your eyes widen. Are they kissing?
“Can you taste her on me?” You hear Agatha mutter between breaths and you think you’re about to combust on the spot. You can’t resist from sliding a hand down your shorts and you gasp at how wet you are.
The sounds continue and you hear soft moaning, but you’re unable to distinguish who they’re coming from.
And then: “Get on the desk,” Agatha orders roughly. “I never thanked you properly for Saturday morning.” Rio chuckles breathlessly and you can hear things being cleared off the space.
You are completely overwhelmed now, by the knowledge that Rio had fucked her the morning after you had seen them (was the dinner invitation before or after?) and now Agatha’s about to return the favor.
And you are listening.
“Are you going to tell her about your dream?” Rio asks. You hear the sound of a belt buckle and a zipper.
“Should I?” Agatha retorts. “Do you think she could handle knowing I had such a good dream about the three of us that you had to take care of me in my sleep?”
You moan involuntarily and clamp a hand over your mouth. If they catch you listening there’s a chance they’ll hang up and you cannot take that risk.
“I think she could,” Rio says, words turning into a groan at the end of the sentence. You wonder if Agatha is touching her now. “I saw how much she needed you just now. I think she’d be a good girl and let us do whatever we wanted to her.”
You nod enthusiastically like they can see you.
“Fuck, Agatha,” Rio gasps and you think if you listen closely enough, you can hear her wetness. You slide a finger into yourself and mirror what you’re imagining Agatha doing.
“She is our good girl, isn’t she,” Agatha muses conversationally. You have to bite down your lip so you don’t make any other noises. “Can you picture her doing this to you? Making you feel good with her fingers?”
Your ring finger joins your middle finger to thrust into you and your thumb rubs at your clit. You are embarrassingly close after making out with Agatha and now this.
It seems like Rio is, too. “Yes, fuck, I want you both.” You can hear her breaths coming out short and fast and Agatha laughs.
“You both are so desperate. What am I going to do with you? I have some ideas.”
You almost beg to hear them. But Rio has that covered for you.
“Oh yeah?” She whimpers.
“I’m going to teach her how you like to be eaten out. How you like to be fucked. And then we’ll see if she’s as good of a learner in bed as she is in the classroom.” Rio’s moan is so loud it cuts out the next thing Agatha says. You can’t be mad though because her sounds are just as hot as Agatha’s words. “And then we’ll fuck her. She’ll look so pretty stretched around your fingers. With my tongue in her pussy.”
You taste blood from how hard you bite your lip after she says that. Your hips stutter and you are so close.
“Fuck, Agatha,” Rio swears. “I’m going to cum.”
“Yeah? Cum for me, Rio. And you too, sweetheart.” You can’t stop the gasp that falls from your lips when you register that Agatha is talking to you and hearing her say that sends you over the edge. Rio as well, from the sounds of it. Your orgasm is explosive, even though you’re fucking yourself in a college bathroom stall. You pant and rest your head against the wall, thoroughly ruined.
Your cheeks are flushed at being played like a fool. Of course they didn’t accidentally call you right before they just happened to have sex.
There’s movement from Rio and Agatha’s side and then Agatha’s voice close to the speaker. “You okay, honey?”
You cough to clear your throat. “Yeah,” you say weakly and they both chuckle.
“We’ll see you tomorrow night,” Rio says. “Wear something pretty for us.” And the call disconnects.
You laugh in disbelief. Fuck.

You’ve had a casual fling with Agatha and Rio for as long as you can recall. There’s a stereotype about witches coming and going as they please, and you find it to be frustratingly true.
It's easier to get ahold of Rio than Agatha, which is ironic considering that Rio is literally Death. With the title comes the job, so all you truly needed to get a glimpse of her was a body. Perhaps you could arrange the carcasses in a way that said ‘stay with me forever’.
As a vampire, you had time to wait. There was no rush, which is how you believe things got so casual. You could never forget how you met the pair.
At the time angry mobs were running rampant, looking for anyone to persecute. You were a known vampire living not to far from a village. They hunted you for sport. There were many of them that you killed, but eventually they were able to ambush you. When they did, they used wooden spikes to pin you to a large ‘X’ that they built. The scars from were they impaled your flesh still present today.
They tortured you; punching, spitting, stabbing, you had eventually lost track of time after a few hours. The need for blood weakening you enough to where breaking free was nearly impossible.
They’d come in shifts for the torture and leave only one person to watch you in the night. That was their only flaw. You didn’t expect anyone outside of the village to come across you, but someone did.
Your head was hung low, when you heard the unmistakable sound of a body hitting the ground. You raised it slightly, to see the guard that was supposed to be watching you, dead on the floor.
“You don’t look too well.”
It had been days since you had tried to speak, so your voice was hoarse, “I wouldn’t think so.”
“What are you? Only someone different, is worth all of this trouble,” a different voice spoke.
Your eyes look to where the voices are coming from, but you only see shadows. Your tongue is dry as it passes over your bloody chapped lips.
“Vampire,” you mumbled.
“Help me get her down.”
When they approached, you finally got a good look at them. You couldn’t help but stare at their features. Both youthful with rosy cheeks. Rio’s large brown eyes caught your attention immediately, warm yet hiding something. Agatha’s features were sharper, her cheekbones, her jawline, even her eyes.
“This will hurt,” Rio examined the wood embedded into your skin.
“I know,” you spoke weakly.
You expected them to pull the spikes out with their hands. Instead your eyebrows furrowed when purple and green tendrils of magic worked around the spikes. Instead of 4, painfully slow, agonizing moments, there was only one rough pull, before your body fell off of the ‘X’. Only your knees hit ground as Agatha and Rio held up the rest of your body.
Your full weight pushed against them as your head rested in between their shoulders, “Thank you.”
“Hungry?”
Your eyes glowed a dim red, “I could drain a village.”
“Bloodthirsty, even in this state?” Agatha teased.
“Especially in this state,” you corrected.
You could hardly move, but you attempted to stand on your unstable legs. You grunted in pain as you put one foot in front of the other. Your focus was on the dead guard. His heart was no longer beating, but blood still filled his veins. It was calling to you, it had been too long since you had fed.
Your fangs snack into the man’s neck viciously. You had no remorse for the corpse as his body began to lose color as you drank. He wasn’t a large man, which was unfortunate, but he sufficed for the moment.
Harsh breaths and clearing of your throat, were indicators of how much you needed that. You wiped the blood off of your mouth with the back of your hand.
Your wounds were slowly closing, but it was taking all of the energy you had just gained.
“I can heal you faster,” Rio said tentatively grabbing your forearm.
She extended it so that it’s flat, before quickly running her tongue over the spot. You looked at her as if she was crazy, but then back at your wrist. The hole from the stake was gone, in its place was only a scar.
If you had a pulse, you were sure that it would be beating wildly.
You glanced at Agatha, who watched on, “Do you do that too?”
She shook her head, “Earth witch specialty.”
“How long did they have you like that?” Rio’s eyes have examined your body, noticing the extensive damage. Her finger trailed one of the nastier slashes across your stomach.
“I don't recall,” you spoke honestly.
Rio was careful as she healed the larger wounds on your body, you told her not to worry about the less significant ones. Even when she was done you were still caked in dirt and mostly your own blood.
“Let me help you out doll,” Agatha waved her fingers swiftly, and soon you were clean as a whistle.
Your tattered clothes replaced as if they were new, dirt and blood alike removed from your body. Ugly scars, now covered except for the few that littered your face.
“Why help me? We are only strangers, I don’t even know your names.”
“Abominations to humanity must stick together lest we want them to wipe every one of us out . You can call me Rio.”
“Agatha Harkness, pleasure to save you beautiful.”
One of your eyebrows raised, “Witch killer, Agatha Harkness?”
The woman chuckled, “I see my reputation supersedes my community. Does my aura scare you…”
“Y/n, and it does not. There are no rules when it comes to preservation of self. I’ve killed my own kind for good reasons and some not so good reasons. Bodies just seem to pile up when I’m around.”
“That why they nail you up like that?” Rio questioned.
You shrugged, “I suppose, a mixture of that and fear.”
“People fear death,” she spoke.
You shook your head as you corrected her, “Mortals fear death. I know people who are thousands of years old, who run from ailments of morality. They are foolish, death cannot be outran. Though it may take longer for her to come, she will eventually get all of us.”
“You aren’t afraid to die?” Agatha questioned you.
“No, there’s no point. She’ll come for me when it’s my time, but until then what is there to fear besides a wasted life.”
Rio had a small smile on her face, “Quite the philosophy you’ve fostered. Just one question, if you feel that way, then why kill anyone in the first place?”
It was your turn to chuckle, “If someone was meant to live, they simply would. I’m not stealing life, simply gifting death to those who have decided that it is their time.”
“How do you know that they’ve decided?” Agatha counters.
“Well you see, many people are weary of vampires and they should be. They let their guard down, they get comfortable, they play with their food instead of finishing the job. Those actions have consequences and I like to deal with those consequences personally. So I suppose when they choose to wrong me, they’ve chosen to die.”
“And the villagers who did this to you?” Rio pondered aloud.
You eyed her cautiously, “Do you stand to stop me?”
Rio shook her head, “I keep a witch killer in my company, you think I’m above a rightfully earned massacre?”
“Well you spoke of solidarity amongst-”
“Think of it this way, we can do what we want amongst each other, as it is our business. The humans have no right, to do what we do.”
You nod, “I agree.”
“So, you’re going to destroy the village?” Agatha questioned.
“My goal is to drain every last one.”
After that first encounter you were drunk on the thought alone of Agatha and Rio. Finding out Rio's true identity only made you lust for her even more. You knew that both had bonded with each other in ways you hadn’t understood, but that didn't stop your feelings from developing.
It didn't take long for them to fold you into their relationship, at least partially. They weren’t always around, but when they were everything seemed to fall back into place.
However, you’d be lying if you said you hadn't been getting restless these last few years. It was feeling like you saw less of them, especially Agatha. It felt like a game of cat and mouse. Somehow you had ended up chasing after them.
Tonight you walk the streets bored, part of you looking for trouble. Rumblings of new age vampire hunters in the area had piqued your interest. So you’d have a chance to have some fun or at minimum find your next meal.
Your fingers play with the rings they had gifted you, centuries ago. In the past you could feel both of them signaling you through the jewelry. It was a faint buzz, something like a hum, through the ring. A feeling that you hadn’t felt in ages. You longed to feel it again, to feel them.
Alleyways didn’t scare you, hardly anything scared you these days. Yet as you take a step into this alley, you sense something immediately. You feel eyes on you, as you walk.
“Has anyone ever told you to be mindful of where you settle demon?”
You continue walking, the empty threat meant nothing to you.
“I know what you are, I can smell it on you,” the voice echoes against the walls.
Your ears twitch, and soon you’re holding a frail man against one of the concrete walls in the alley.
“If you know what I am, you should be more mindful of how you approach me,” your strength speaks for itself.
You don’t give him the pleasure of seeing your fangs or glowing red eyes.
“Ah, you’re one of the older ones. This will be quite fun,” he says gleefully.
“What are you-" the question dies on your lips as you feel a needle being jabbed into your neck.
Your hand instinctively shoots over the spot, and your growl in frustration. You drop the man against the wall, turning your attention to the person who stuck you from behind with the needle.
This man was much bigger than the other. He was about twice your size, but it did not matter. You bare your fangs, hissing at the muscular man.
“Why isn’t she dropping?” He yells, fear laced through his voice.
You take the moment to pounce on him. Your teeth wasting no time, sinking into his neck. The man convulses under you, but you’re stronger than him. Even when he grabs your neck you don’t relent.
“Impossible,” the frail man, whispers from his spot against the wall.
“Nice try, but-”
The sensation hits you like a truck. You feel your vision get blurry and your muscles weaken. You blink a few times trying to will yourself against the late acting sedative.
The frail man nods excessively as you begin to lose consciousness, “Slower than usual, but captured nonetheless.”
You’re jolted back into consciousness when you feel the stake being driven into your skin. You attempt to shoot out of whatever position you are in, but it only causes you a familiar pain. Unlike the first time you were nailed to something, this time it was straight up rather than ‘X’ formation. Your arms hung up straight above your head and your feet were slightly spread underneath.
One spike was used to pierce both of your hands in place while you had one for each foot. Your breathing only quickens even more upon noticing you are in a forest. This couldn’t be happening.
“Glad you could finally join us,” the frail man from earlier want alone this time. He had a group of people with him.
“Let me go, and I’ll consider sparing you one I'm free,” you say, yet no one moves.
“You hold no power here, demon,” the man walks around you. “I am doctor Helsing, you may be familiar with my ancestors.”
Your jaw twitches, “ Van Helsing.”
He chuckles, “What a smart creature you are?”
“What do you want from me?”
His chuckle turns into a boisterous laughter, “ You can't offer me anything that I don't have the ability to take.”
You glare at the people in front of you, eyes turning a vicious shade of red, “The last group of people that tried something like this, paid for their sins with their lives. I hope you’re prepared to do the same.”
“They did quite a number on you, I can tell by your markings. Their only mistake was letting such a beautiful thing like you go,” Helsing says, his hand sliding across the scar on your abdomen.
“They didn’t let me go. I got out.”
His eyes had a glint as he leaned in, “And then you killed them all, how sad.”
He stabs you in the scar. Carving harder and deeper than the previous person. You grunt, but try to steel yourself under the knife. Yet you squirm finding the sensation to be more unpleasant than you had recalled.
“Silver cuts a little different doesn’t it?” He says watching the cut pour blood.
“You’re going to regret this.”
He turns his attention to the people, “Empty threats mean nothing when a beast is tied up. Would anyone else like a turn?”
People in his crowd begin to circle around you. Some with weapons, others cracking their knuckles. You're being attacked from all sides. The pain makes you tear up, but you avoid crying.
Instead you left out a bitter laugh, “That’s all you’ve got. Come on if you're gong to torture me at least put some passion behind it.”
“Oh, we’re just getting started. I want to hear you beg for your life, I want to see you broken, beaten, defeated. I want you to ask for death and then I'll award it to you.”
You spit at Helsing, “I’m not scared of death.”
He wipes your spit off of his face, a scowl now present, “For centuries my family has been driving your species to extinction. The failures may eclipse the successes, but don't think that we were never successful. You will fall at the hands of Van Helsing, creature.”
He has a device in his hand, he shoves it into your mouth. It forces your mouth open and your fangs out. He stares at them in awe. You try to clamp your mouth shut or retract your fangs, but you are unable to. You start to panic.
“Just like a snake, de-fang the vampire and a lot of that fear is gone,” his smile is sadistic.
You feel your adrenaline sky rocket as you shake violently. Your eyes wide in terror. The wood stake ripping your skin, but the pain was nothing akin to the fright.
You don’t remember the last time you were truly this scared.
He laughs and some of the crowd laugh along with him, “Are you afraid now, demon?”
Tears fall from your eyes and he coos. You flinch at his hand touching your face. His fingers were rough and callused against the swollen skin. You move your head as if to attack him and he stumbles back.
He grabs your jaw roughly, “This is the power of man.”
“Looks like someone is having a party and forgot to invite us.”
You know that voice. It makes you close your eyes in relief. The panic you felt in the moment begins to dissipate.
Everyone looks to the sky following the sound of the voice. It’s there that they see Agatha and Rio floating in the sky. Most of the crowd has their mouths agape, not believing what they are seeing.
“Should we offer them mercy, Agatha? Maybe our invites got lost in the mail?”
“This matter does not concern you foul wenches, be gone,” Helsing says, his voice trembles a bit at the end.
It’s Agatha that cackles looking down at the man, “See that’s where your wrong because…”
Rio appears behind the man, her skeletal form on her face, “If it concerns her, then it concerns us.”
Her dagger lays on his neck and he looses his composure.
“Anyone want to be brave?” Agatha questions the crowd, who screams when she shoots her magic at a nearby tree exploding it.
“What happened? A second ago you were lining up to torture her, but now you’re scared,” Rio adds pressure to her dagger.
“Don’t get shy now, doctor. Nothing to say?” Agatha gets closer to him.
The group tries to scatter but she traps them in a circle full of fire. They’re forced to gather close to each other. Their screams make you smile.
Agatha pulls the device out of your mouth carefully. Her hand caresses your face gently. You lean into her touch.
“We have to stop meeting like this doll,” Agatha mumbles only for you to hear.
“We wouldn’t have to meet again if you stopped leaving,” you shoot back.
Agatha casts her gaze away from you and over to Helsing. She and Rio switch places. The Green Witch, uses her vines to pull the spikes out of your body. It’s a feeling that never gets easier to experience.
You land on your feet ignoring the burning sensation. With your back tall you walk over to Helsing. You crouch in front of him, despite your own agony.
You hold his eyes, “Funny, I recall you telling me I’d beg for death. Well now she’s here for me, just not in the way you expected is it?”
Rio wiggles her fingers at the doctor, “I loved dragging the souls of your family to eternal damnation, can’t wait to reunite you with them.”
“Humans are all the same, always playing with food that’s not yours,” you stand towering over the man.
“Hey I like to play with my food,” Agatha pouts.
You smile, “When you have power you can do what you want.”
You open your hand and Rio drops her dagger into your grasp. The crowd watches in panic behind the flames as you approach the man.
“However, I’ve never been one to play with my food,” in a swift motion you slit his throat.
The gasps and screams of his followers sounds like music to your ears. He gargles his own blood reaching for his neck.
“Your blood isn’t worth drinking,” you watch as he collapses. You turn to address the crowd, “None of you have worthy blood. Cowards, followers, miscreants, I hope it was worth it. The price is your life, now burn.”
Agatha waves her hand dismissively and the crowd of people are quickly evaporated. Ash and burnt grass the only remnants of the aggressors.
Upon their destruction you crumble to the floor. Your body screaming at you for the abuse you endured.
Rio starts with the wound on your stomach before healing the spiked points. Your body still aches when she’s finished, but it’s substantially less than before.
“Déjà vu isn’t it bunny?” Agatha opens the floor for conversation.
“Now isn’t the time Agatha,” Rio scolds the woman, who raises her hands in defense.
“I was just reminiscing, is that a crime?”
You stand, “Well, good seeing you. Same time… in the next few centuries or…”
You’re hurt,” Rio argues.
“You healed me enough,” you shrug.
Agatha rolls her eyes, “What’s with the attitude princess?”
You place a hand on your hip, “When was the last time we saw each other, Agatha? Rio, you only come when I leave bodies in my wake. So sorry if I’m not thrilled it takes me being captured and tortured to get some time together.”
“It’s always been this way,” Agatha argues back.
Your voice takes on an uncharacteristically soft tone, “I know and I’m tired. I don’t want whatever this is. I need something more, something tangible. It’s fine if you don't want to give that to me, but I can't keep waiting.”
You try to keep calm as you pull the rings off of your fingers, hand out stretched to give them back to their original owners.
“Y/n…”
“Take them… please. Free me, from whatever this is. I’m grateful that you saved me on our first day and maybe the same thing happening again is fate telling me that this is our last day,” you get the courage to look at them with teary eyes.
“You don't even believe in fate,” Agatha tries to reason with you.
“How would you know, you haven't been around. Things change, people change,” you tell her.
Agatha looks to Rio for help, but The Green Witch, just keeps her eyes on you.
“That’s bullshit! If change is so real, how’d we end up right back where we started hmm? Poor little hung up bat, in need of saving and here we are like always,” Agatha’s theatrics peak through her words.
“Like always?” You repeat, in disbelief.
“Look sweetheart, I know that-"
You ball your fists at your side, “What could you possibly know Agatha? Tell me, I’m interested in hearing. Did you know I spend all my time waiting for either of you to tell me if you want me or not? I don’t sleep, I just think and think and think about finding a way to end it all without having to see either of you. Hard to kill yourself with Death keeping tabs on you, even without a heartbeat. I knew this guy was tracking me, I knew what he wanted to do, and I said fuck it. I don’t care, what’s there to live for anyway?”
“You can't be serious?” Rio doesn’t want to believe what you’re saying.
“Of course I’m serious, part of me thought that after all these years humans would be over torture, but that was foolish of me. Why would I think that you'd come to save me? I still don’t understand why you did.”
“Because we love you, you fucking idiot!” Agatha shouts at you.
You scoff, “Do you really? I couldn’t tell by the hundreds of years apart.”
“We were protecting you,” Agatha gets in your space.
“What could have possibly been protecting me? Oh no, a loving and caring environment? How ever could I have managed such domestic delights and pleasures,” your voice drips sarcasm.
“You do realize that Rio is Death, right? Her job is literally to reap souls, you aren’t the only one that doesn’t get to see her often. And me… I’m all trouble, doll. There’s not a pleasant bone in my body.”
You roll your eyes and cross your arms over your chest, “Did you forget who I am? Have you had a head trauma recently, or maybe you need a refresher? I’m not the greatest either, cupcake. I just slit a man’s throat and had his followers executed.”
“By me,” Agatha points out.
“Ok and you want credit for the villages I killed too? The vampires I murdered? The people I lied to? The whores I fucked? I’m not some sweet innocent thing you picked up off of the side of the road. My ledger has had blood on it since before you killed your original coven.”
Your eyes are red as they stare into her blue ones.
“We were scared,” Rio interrupts the rising tensions between you and Agatha.
“Scared of what?” You glance at her.
“Of committing to you. Hell, Agatha and I can’t even fully commit to each other. This game of cat and mouse, it’s all we know. You’re right, you deserve more, so much more, but we don’t know how to give it. We don’t know what a domestic life looks like, we aren’t domestic people. I didn't think there would be any doubt in your head that we loved you, and maybe that just shows how fucked up we really are,” Rio monologues.
Her words hit you harshly. They make you want to start crying all over again. You cast your gaze to the floor.
“I guess that brings us back to the original point then, doesn’t it? Maybe it’s better if we just, end it here,” you can’t look at them.
“If that’s what you want?” Rio nods solemnly.
Agatha looks between the two of you, “Are you two stupid or something? You have to be if you think I’m just going to agree to this.”
“Agatha-”
“Don’t. I love you, both of you. I don’t want this to end and if that means changing the way things operate, then I guess things just have to change,” Agatha speaks seriously.
“What are yo-”
You startle when Agatha grabs your hands in both of hers. Her eyes locking fiercely onto yours. She doesn’t blink as she speaks, “Move in with me.”
“What?”
“You want time together, we can have time together. We’ve basically been together for centuries, come live with me.”
“Agatha, I think you've lost the plot,” Rio says, cautiously.
“You too Dr. Green Thumb. Let’s all move in together,” Agatha nods her head.
“That doesn’t fix everything,” you focus on her hands over yours.
She doesn’t hesitate to raise her hands to cup your face, “There’s obviously a lot to fix, but you can’t tell me this isn’t a step in the right direction. Y/n, I don’t want to- I can’t lose you. I’m not willing to let you go without a fight.”
Your face heats in her hands. Her eyes are ablaze with passion as they keep contact with yours.
You sigh and rest your forehead against hers, “I don’t know Agatha.”
Rio joins the moment, carefully wrapping her arms around your torso, “I don’t think any of us really know, but I think we’re supposed to find out together.”
“Please,” Agatha’s breath hits your lips. “Just a chance to make up for lost time. If it doesn’t work, then it doesn’t, but please don’t give up on us yet.”
Hearing Agatha beg like this tugs at your heart. You don’t want to give in this easily, but you’ve already wasted so much time.
“Ok.”
As the word falls from your lips, Agatha surges forward. You can recall the last time her lips were on yours. The warmth that they were able to send through your body. How firm she was in her kiss, not scared or uncertain as your lips moved together. She knew what she wanted and it was hard to picture a world in which she’d kiss someone she wasn’t interested in the way she was kissing you. You were the one she wanted.
Your legs grow weak, but Rio holds you steady. Her shifting grip, makes you turn to face her. Unlike Agatha she hesitates. She takes a moment to admire your features, she wasn’t in a rush. Neither were you. Rio’s kiss is softer than Agatha’s, her plush lips, move experimentally against yours. It’s not like she’s forgotten, more like she’s re-exploring. She's playful, as her teeth nibble on your bottom lip. You laugh at the sensation.
Rio rests her head on your shoulder. She extends her hands, motioning for the other witch to get closer. Agatha wraps her arms around the both of you. Her front to your back while her hands rest on Rio’s back. You’re encased by them, a feeling that is welcomed yet foreign to you.
“Promise that you'll keep me close” you say to both of them.
“Until the road ends, my love,” Agatha kisses the top of your head.
“I’ll hold you even after the road ends,” Rio kisses the base of your neck.
“Do you always have to one up me?” Agatha says to Rio.
Rio chuckles, “Sounds like a skill issue sweetheart.”
“Oh, we’ll see who has a skill issue later, when you’re begging me for help because my fingers are longer than yours,” Agatha says smugly.
Rio pulls back from you to glare at Agatha, “If you don’t want to ‘help’ me, I’ll just ask Y/n. Isn’t that right sweetheart?”
You blush at the innuendo.
“Nuh uh, bunny. I think I recall you liking my treats better, because someone has a skill issue,” Agatha sticks her tongue at Rio.
You turn an even deeper shade of red.
“You can never let an emotional moment be,” Rio says.
“Well you’re always trying to out ‘emotional’ me,” Agatha replies.
“It’s not my fault you’re not as smooth as me, mi vida,” Rio counters again.
Agatha throws her hands up, “I know Spanish and Latin too, you’re not special Vidal.”
Rio raises an eyebrow, “And who taught you?”
The back and forth makes you laugh, “Are you sure you don’t do domestic, because you bicker like an old married couple?”
They both huff at your statement.
“We’ll continue this at home,” Agatha points at Rio.
The brown eyed woman puts her hand over her heart in faux-fear, “Oooo, I’m terrified.”
Agatha opens a portal to her house and both women step through. Not stopping their bickering for a second. You smile as you watch them, feeling hopeful for the first time in a long time.
“The portal isn’t going to stay open forever, bunny, come on,” Agatha reaches her hand to pull you through.
You take it, stepping into your new beginning.

Four months. That’s how long it’s been since you stepped into the quiet, modern house nestled at the end of a well-kept street. Four months since you met Nicholas, bright-eyed and full of questions, the kind of kid who could win over even the most reluctant babysitter. And four months since you met his mother, Agatha Harkness.
Agatha had been polite, professional, and just distant enough to make her presence intoxicating. At first, you told yourself it was nothing, just admiration for someone so self-assured, so obviously in control of her world. But as the weeks passed, admiration turned into fascination, and fascination into a quiet, gnawing ache you couldn’t shake.
It wasn’t as if the two of you shared many conversations. Agatha kept things brief—efficient, almost clinical. A quick rundown of Nicholas’ dinner preferences and bedtime routine, a reminder to call if anything urgent came up. She never offered more than the bare minimum needed to keep things running smoothly, yet her presence made every exchange feel heavier than it should.
You tried not to think about her too much. Tried to focus on Nicholas, the job, anything else. But ignoring Agatha Harkness was like trying to ignore gravity - inescapable, pulling you in whether you wanted it or not.
It wasn’t just her appearance - though that certainly didn’t help - it was the way she occupied space, commanding attention without effort. The way her gaze would flick to you, sharp and assessing, like she was filing away every detail for later consideration.
And when she left… she didn’t just leave. She left behind. The faint scent of her perfume, rich and warm, clinging to the air long after the door had closed behind her. The lingering echo of her voice, low and smooth, a melody that at times could feel almost too calculated to be accidental.
You told yourself it was nothing. Just a natural reaction to being around someone like her: refined, confident, and utterly out of reach. But the longer you spent in her home, the harder it became to convince yourself of that, especially when so much about her remained shrouded in mystery.
You had no idea what she did for a living, only that it involved late-night calls, countless virtual meetings, a constant stream of emails at all hours, and events that demanded an air of authority as much as they did elegance.
She was always impeccably dressed, whether she was working from home or heading out for an event: power suits tailored to perfection, silk shirts and blouses that radiated precision as sharp as the cut of her blazers, and fitted dresses that looked like they belonged on the cover of a magazine.
She exuded the kind of confidence that made you certain she held a position of influence, something important, something that carried weight. CEO, maybe? Or some high-ranking executive? It would explain the polished demeanor, the frustration that would sometimes edge into her voice during a call you definitely weren’t meant to overhear, and the meticulous organization of her home office.
Then again, she had an air of mystery that didn’t quite fit neatly into the corporate box. She was decisive, yes, but there was something else beneath it, something restrained, like she was only showing a fraction of what she was truly capable of.
You didn’t even know Agatha’s exact age. There were old photos scattered around the house, most of them of Nicholas as a baby, a few of her alongside Rio, her ex-wife. You’d caught glimpses of them during one of Nicholas’ enthusiastic storytelling tangents, the kind of childlike recounting that brought those still frames to life. Rio looked noticeably younger in the pictures, which only deepened the intrigue surrounding Agatha. How old was she? Late forties? Early fifties?
Not that it mattered, or at least… it shouldn’t have. But the more time you spent in her orbit, the harder it became to ignore just how much space she occupied in your thoughts. It was unprofessional, irrational, and entirely out of your control, as if every little detail about her demanded a corner of your attention whether you wanted it to or not.
The first time you met, you’d thought she was intimidating. There was something about the sharpness in her gaze, the way she seemed to size you up as if you were being evaluated for a job far more critical than babysitting.
You’d left the interview certain she didn’t think much of you. But then she’d hired you.
To be fair, you hadn’t exactly taken the job because of your love for children. Babysitting seemed like an easy way to make some extra cash while juggling your morning part-time job. You hadn’t expected to enjoy it, much less grow attached to Nicholas.
But Nicholas wasn’t like other kids. He was curious, creative, and so full of energy that you couldn’t help but be drawn in. He’d ask you about your favorite books, try to teach you the names of constellations from his room, and once insisted on making you a friendship bracelet out of beads and string.
And then there were the quieter moments. Like the time he’d curled up beside you on the couch after a rough day at school, falling asleep mid-sentence while you read his favorite book. Or the time he’d asked, out of the blue, “Do you think my mom gets lonely when I’m at school?”.
You hadn’t known how to answer that one.
Nicholas made the job feel… easy. Comforting, even. But his mother? She made it kind of impossible.
Every time you walked into her home, you’d feel her presence. Not physically, she was rarely around long enough for that, but in the little things she left behind, subtle markers of her existence woven into the very own fabric of the house.
The low hum of her voice drifting from the upstairs study during late-night calls, words too muffled to make out but carrying a cadence of control that made you pause, just to listen. The faint impression of her meticulousness in the perfectly aligned cushions on the couch, the neatly stacked mail on the counter, the absence of even a stray sock or misplaced book.
Then there was the way her heels clicked against the floor when she came downstairs, the sound crisp yet unhurried. She didn’t rush, Agatha Harkness was not the kind of person who rushed. Her movements seemed to shape the rhythm of the house itself, setting a quiet standard for everything and everyone in her space.
Soon, you began picking up on details you had no business noticing. Small, fleeting moments that clung to the edges of your thoughts like whispers you couldn’t quite ignore. Like, the slight smirk she gave when Nicholas said something clever, a mixture of pride and amusement softening her features. Or the way she adjusted her hair when she was stressed, tucking loose strands behind her ear with a practiced motion, revealing the elegant curve of her neck.
And then there were the more unconscious gestures, each one driving you wild in its own very excruciating way. The quiet rhythm of her foot tapping against the kitchen floor when she sipped her coffee between meetings. The faint click of her tongue against her lips when Nicholas tested her patience, a subtle attempt to hold back words she clearly wanted to let loose. The way she stood when she was lost in thought, her arms loosely crossed as one finger absently brushed against her lips, almost as if she was tasting the edge of an unspoken idea.
And her laugh. God, her laugh. It wasn’t often that Nicholas managed to coax it out of her, but when he did, it was warm and rich, a sound that lingered long after she left the room.
Everything about her seemed carefully curated, controlled at all times. And yet, in those instants, you saw something else. A woman who, despite all her poise and precision, carried the weight of something she never let anyone else see.
You weren’t supposed to think about her like this. Not when she was the mother of the child you babysat. Not when every interaction with her reminded you of just how far apart your worlds were. Not when she was so far out of your league, it was laughable.
She is older, accomplished, and entirely unattainable. The kind of woman who probably spends her evenings at upscale dinners or in rooms filled with people who match her level of sophistication. Women who are successful, and as captivating as she is, people she could meet as equals.
And who are you? Someone who stumbles over your words if she so much as glances your way for too long. Someone whose idea of ambition is stringing together part-time jobs to pay the bills.
It isn’t just that she is out of your league, it’s like she is playing a completely different game.
But that didn’t stop your mind from wandering.
You knew it was ridiculous to even entertain the idea of her seeing you as anything more than a babysitter. And yet, in the quiet moments, when her voice lingered in your head or her laugh replayed itself unbidden, the thought of her crept in, no matter how hard you tried to push it away.
It didn’t help that most of the nights you were working at her house were predictable, almost comforting in their routine: dinner, homework, reading or watching a movie with Nicholas. A lovely rhythm, easy and unassuming.
Except for Fridays.
Fridays were different. Fridays were harder. Fridays were the nights when Agatha didn’t stay holed up in her study, immersed in work or late-night calls. No, she would step out in one of her perfectly tailored outfits, leaving behind a quiet hum in the air, like the house itself was holding its breath in her absence.
And like clockwork, every Friday night, when she walked out the door, you’d find yourself wondering. Where was she going? Who was she meeting? What would it be like to occupy even a fraction of her time? Did she let others see pieces of herself you’d only glimpsed in passing? Did she laugh with them the way she sometimes laughed with Nicholas?
The questions gnawed at you in ways you hated to admit, piling up in your mind uninvited and unrelenting, until all you could do was let them sit there, unanswered and far beyond your reach.
“Get a grip.” you mutter to yourself as you approach the house, tugging your hoodie tighter against the evening chill. But you can’t shake the feeling that this Friday, like all the others, will leave you tangled in questions you have no right to ask, about a life that’s so close yet impossibly far away.
When you reach the door, you pause, taking a breath to steady yourself. You knock and when Agatha opens the door, you momentarily forget how to breathe.
She stands before you in a deep navy suit, the tailored jacket hugging her form perfectly, the sharp lines of her trousers elongating her already commanding presence. A delicate gold chain rests against her collarbone, catching the light every time she moves, and her fingers gleam with matching gold rings. Her hair is swept back, leaving a few strands to frame her face, and her pointy black heels click faintly as she steps aside to let you in.
“Evening, hon.” she greets, her voice a smooth hum that settles in the space between you like a low melody. Her gaze sweeps over you, unreadable as always, but you catch it - a flicker of something in the corner of her mouth, an almost-smile that makes your breath catch in your throat.
“Hi.” The word slips out, and you pray she doesn’t notice the slight quiver in your voice. You grip the strap of your backpack a little tighter, as if that will steady you.
Stepping inside and closing the door, you let the familiar warmth of the house wash over you, the faint sound of Nicholas’ laughter from the living room grounding you just enough. You focus on it, using the noise as a lifeline to ignore the way your pulse quickens in her presence.
Agatha moves toward the hall mirror, tilting her head as she checks her lipstick. The movement is casual, something you’ve seen her do countless times in the past months, and yet your eyes are drawn to her like a magnet.
“You know the drill.” she says suddenly, her voice breaking the silence and startling you just enough to snap your attention away. She doesn’t turn, her focus still on her reflection, but her tone commands yours. “Dinner’s already set out for Nicky, and he’s got homework to finish before he’s allowed any TV. I should be back around midnight, but call if you need anything.”
“Got it.” you nod quickly, keeping your response as short as possibile, not fully trusting your voice.
As she turns to reach for her bag, your ‘Friday thoughts’ spill out right on time, tumbling over themselves in a chaotic rush you can’t seem to contain. Your weekly ritual of overthinking, courtesy of one Agatha Harkness.
Where is she going tonight? Another date? She has to be dating. It would explain the Friday nights routine, the flawless outfits, the faint whiff of perfume that lingers long after she leaves. Nobody has ever come home with her or even close to the house in the past months. Does that mean the dates go poorly? Does she cut them short, brushing the other person off with the same composed finality she seems to apply to everything else? Would she even bring someone back here?
Probably not. No, if anything, she’d go to their place. Some immaculate apartment, probably, with clean lines and expensive furniture. Somewhere she could walk in, take control, and leave just as effortlessly when she wanted to.
You shake your head, trying to banish the images from your mind. They always feel so intrusive, like you’re stepping into corners of her life you have no right to imagine.
Agatha’s voice breaks the silence once again, pulling you out of your spiraling thoughts.
“Don’t let him con you into staying up late.” she says, a playful lilt in her tone as she heads toward the door.
Your lips curve in a faint smile as you manage a reply, your voice steadier than you expect. “I’m not so easily corrupted, you know.”
She pauses in the doorway and turns back slightly, her gaze fixated on yours not long enough to offer answers, but just enough to stir more questions.
And then, she’s gone. The front door clicking shut and the soft echo of her heels fading into the night feeling so anticlimactic compared to the storm she leaves behind in your head. You stand there for a moment, staring at the door.
What is it about her that makes you care so much? Why does she take up so much space in your mind when you know, deep down, that you’re nothing more than the babysitter?
But even that thought doesn’t hold. If you’re just the babysitter, then why does her gaze linger more now than it did in the beginning, like a challenge, like she’s daring you to figure her out? Why does it feel like the tension between you has been building over the weeks, simmering beneath the surface, a game you don’t fully understand but can’t help wanting to play?
And why, in those moments, does it feel like she’s not just looking at you, but through you, as if she’s started seeing pieces of you that even you aren’t ready to admit?
It wasn’t always like this. At first, her attention felt brief, almost incidental - a fleeting glance here, a curt smile there. But now, there’s something deliberate about it, something that leaves you questioning everything every time you’re near her.
But that’s all it is: questions. Never answers. And it’s maddening.
The hours pass quietly after Agatha leaves. Nicholas breezes through his homework with minimal resistance, though not without a few dramatic groans and exaggerated complaints. Dinner is uneventful, save for a minor debate over whether carrots are better raw or roasted.
By the time the clock strikes nine, Nicholas is sprawled on the couch beside you, his favorite blanket draped haphazardly across both of you. He’s already halfway to sleep, eyelids fluttering as he fights the inevitable.
“One more movie.” he murmurs, his voice soft and drowsy. “I promise I’ll go to bed right after.”
You tilt your head, arching an eyebrow as you shoot him a skeptical look, the kind of look you’ve perfected over the months, the one that makes him squirm just enough to admit he’s pushing his luck.
He flashes a sheepish grin, clutching the blanket tighter.
You shake your head but don’t press the matter, reaching for the remote to start the movie. He inches closer as it plays on, the way he always does when he’s tired but too stubborn to admit it. You feel the weight of his trust in the quiet way he settles, his breathing growing slower, his eyes fluttering closed more often than they stay open.
As minutes pass, Nicholas’ resolve doesn’t hold. Not even halfway through, his head tips against your arm, his breathing evening out into the quiet rhythm of sleep.
You glance down at him, his small frame curled against your side, and a wave of warmth washes over you at the sight. With a quiet sigh, you adjust slightly, sliding an arm around him. He leans into you instinctively, his trust so natural it tugs at something deep within you. A faint smile touches your lips as you shift your gaze back to the screen.
But your attention falters. The soft hum of the house, the rhythmic flicker of light from the TV, and the quiet cadence of Nicholas’ steady breathing create a cocoon of calm. The atmosphere wraps around you, soothing and lulling, until your eyelids grow heavier with each passing moment.
You try to resist, telling yourself you’ll move in just a minute, maybe two. But before you know it, sleep creeps in.
The soft click of the front door opening stirs you awake a couple of hours later.
For a moment, you lie frozen, still caught between sleep and wakefulness. Then, the faint sound of heels clicking on the floor reaches your ears, steady and unhurried, until Agatha steps into view.
Her suit only slightly rumpled and her hair just a little out of place, as the tired look in her eyes shifts to something softer when she takes in the scene before her.
“You’ve got to be kidding me.” she mutters, though her voice carries more amusement than irritation.
You blink, sitting up carefully to avoid jostling Nicholas. “I, uh… he insisted on watching the movie, and I guess…” You trail off, gesturing vaguely at the blanket.
Her lips twitch, hovering on the edge of a smile. “So much for not being so easily corrupted.”
You let out a soft laugh, brushing a hand over the blanket. “I’d say I wasn’t corrupted, I was just… strategically outplayed.”
Agatha lets out a playful scoff before her gaze flicks back to Nicholas, and for a moment, something in her demeanor shifts. The dim light of the living room catches her profile, tracing the delicate lines of her features, fleeting but unmistakably tender.
She crosses the room and kneels beside the couch. With a soft touch, she brushes a hand over Nicholas’ shoulder, murmuring his name in a low, soothing tone until his eyes flutter open. Groggy but obedient, he reaches for her hand, and she helps him to his feet.
You hover awkwardly by the couch, unsure whether to follow or retreat. But when Agatha rises and leads Nicholas toward the stairs, you find yourself trailing behind them instinctively. Agatha walks beside her son, her hand lightly resting on his back, steadying him as he shuffles up the steps rubbing his sleepy eyes.
At the top of the stairs, she pauses in front of his bedroom, guiding him inside. You standing awkwardly by the doorway, caught between the pull of the moment and the nagging sense that you’re intruding on something sacred, watching as she tucks him in.
When Agatha finally steps back, she lets out a quiet sigh, brushing her hand across her son’s hair one last time. She moves toward you without looking, gently nudging the door closed behind her with the faintest click.
For a moment, the two of you remain in the hallway, the silence between you heavy but not uncomfortable. It gives you just enough time to glance down at yourself.
Comfy sweatpants, an oversized hoodie, and the faintest smudge of Nicholas’ dinner on your sleeve - a smudge you hadn’t noticed until now. It’s not awful, not disheveled, but standing next to her, you feel like a rough pencil sketch beside a masterpiece.
There’s no denying it, the gap between you. She’s poised in a way that seems effortless, innate. There’s this weight to her sophistication, not showy but intrinsic, as if it’s simply woven into the fabric of who she is.
It makes you feel impossibly small. A painful reminder that she’s untouchable, a fantasy so far out of reach it feels foolish to even consider.
Agatha leans lightly against the wall, her arms crossing in a way that feels unhurried, almost lazy, a stark contrast to the usual precision she carries herself with. Yet even in this quiet repose, she doesn’t lose an ounce of her commanding presence.
She exhales softly, a subtle sound that fully draws your attention. It’s like she’s letting go of the weight of the night piece by piece, and it feels oddly grounding, a rare glimpse into something unspoken.
“Long day?” you ask breaking the silence, your voice quieter than you intend, almost hesitant.
At the sound, her eyes snap up to meet yours, a flicker of surprise crossing her face as if she’d forgotten you were there. It’s fleeting, quickly masked by a practiced neutrality, but for that brief moment, she looks almost caught off guard, as though your presence is something she hadn’t actually accounted for.
“Longer than it was worth.” she replies, her tone low and even.
You hesitate as the air between you grows thick, pressing down on your chest until, before you can stop yourself, the words slip out.
“Bad date?” they tumble from your lips unbidden, and the moment they’re out, your heart lodges itself firmly in your throat.
For a moment, the hallway feels suspended in time, her gaze locking onto yours with an intensity that has your pulse pounding in your ears. Agatha tilts her head slightly, her eyebrow arching as she studies you, the corner of her lips curving upward - not quite a smile, more a deliberate flicker of amusement.
“Bold of you to assume it was a date.” she says, her voice low and tinged with intrigue, as if daring you to explain yourself.
Your cheeks burn, but you can’t backpedal now. “I mean—it’s Friday, and you looked so—uh, dressed up…”
“Careful, hon.” she interrupts smoothly, her tone laced with teasing. “Flattery will only get you so far.”
You swallow hard, suddenly hyperaware of how her perfume lingers faintly in the air between you. “I wasn’t—I mean, I didn’t mean to—”
Agatha cuts you off with a low, rich laugh, the sound curling around you like smoke, warm and unshakable. It’s the kind of laugh that feels like a statement, as though she knows exactly how flustered she’s made you and isn’t above enjoying it.
She doesn’t say a word, but her gaze stays on you for just a beat longer than necessary, her eyes catching yours in a way that feels way too deliberate. Then, with a grace so effortless it almost feels unfair, she pushes off the wall, brushing past you as she moves downstairs.
You linger for a moment in the hallway, trying to steady your breath after the quiet intensity of the exchange. But when you finally descend the stairs, the soft clink of glass pulls your attention to the kitchen.
That’s exactly where you find Agatha, illuminated by the soft glow of the light above the sink. She’s holding a glass of red wine in one hand, her other arm braced casually on the countertop.
Once again, you find yourself hesitatingly watching her from the doorway. Your gaze settles on her hand, on the way the graceful tilt of her wrist makes the wine swirl in the glass.
“Done sneaking around?” she teases without turning to look at you, her tone low and laced with amusement.
Your cheeks flush, and you step into the kitchen, fumbling for an excuse. “I wasn’t sneaking. I just- wanted to say goodnight before I left.”
She finally turns upon hearing your voice, her eyes catching yours with unsettling ease as she leans lazily against the counter, the glass cradled in her hand. “Isn’t that sweet.” she murmurs, her tone softer, thoughtful. “Almost as sweet as falling asleep on the couch with Nicky.”
Your heart skips a beat.
“It—it wasn’t—” you stammer, trying desperately to find your footing. “He was tired, and I guess I was too. It just… happened.”
Her lips curl into the faintest smile, and she takes a slow sip of her wine, her eyes never leaving yours. “No need to be so defensive.” she says, her voice dipping into something almost indulgent. “It’s a good thing. You’re great with him. Not everyone would be.”
The compliment strikes you square in the chest, and for a second, your brain struggles to process it. Your heart pounds so loudly you’re certain she must hear it. You open your mouth to say something, anything, but your words dissolve under the weight of her gaze. It’s calm and far too knowing for your liking, like she’s pulling apart every layer of you with ease.
And then, just as you think the moment can’t possibly get any more overwhelming, she does something that makes your thoughts screech to a halt.
Her tongue flicks over her bottom lip, unhurried and purposeful, as if savoring the last lingering taste of the wine. It’s a fleeting gesture, but one that feels maddeningly intentional, and the way her eyes darken as they hold yours sends a jolt of electricity straight through you.
As if perfectly aware of the effect she’s having on you, her expression shifts. Mischief crosses her features, the corner of her mouth tilting upward in a way that feels more dangerous than playful.
“Maybe” she says, her tone low, teasing, and just a touch too intimate “I should ask you out next Friday.”
The words land like a thunderclap. Your jaw slackens, your brain completely short-circuits, and you’re sure you’ve just imagined it. There’s no way she just said that.
“I—what?” you manage to stammer, your voice barely a whisper, your pulse now hammering in your ears to the point you fear you’ll grow deaf because of it.
Agatha tilts her head, her expression the picture of innocence, though the gleam in her eyes betrays her. “What?” she echoes, as though she has no idea why you’re reacting this way, casually swirling the wine in her glass like she hasn’t just flipped your entire world upside down.
You blink at her, your thoughts spiraling in every possible direction. There’s no way she means it. It’s a joke. It has to be a joke. But the way her eyes hold yours, the subtle curve of her lips, the raw energy she’s exuding - it all feels so charged, that you can’t help but question everything.
Your breath catches again as her smile deepens, and for a moment, you think she might actually say something else, something that’ll either clarify or completely unravel you.
But instead, she leans back against the counter, watching you with an expression that’s equal parts amusement and intrigue, like she’s waiting to see what you’ll do next.
You can’t move. You can’t think. All you can do is stand there, your thoughts looping in an endless cycle of ‘What just happened? Did I imagine that? What does she mean?’.
“I should, uh… go.” you finally mumble, retreating toward the door as your brain struggles to keep up with your body.
“Of course.” she says smoothly, her tone as composed as ever. And then, as you reach the door, she adds, “Early shift tomorrow, right? Seven, if I’m not mistaken.”
You freeze, your hand on the doorknob, and glance back at her. “How did you—?”
“You mentioned it once, a couple of months ago.” she replies casually, as if it’s the most natural thing in the world. “I tend to remember things like that.”
Her gaze lingers just long enough to make your pulse spike up once again before she finally looks away, taking another sip of her wine. “Goodnight, hon.”
You barely even register the door clicking shut behind you. The night air greets you like a slap, cool against your flushed cheeks, but it does absolutely nothing to steady the whirlwind of emotions spiraling inside you. Your feet carry you forward on instinct, each step heavier than the last as her words loop endlessly in your head.
Maybe I should ask you out next Friday.
The sentence hits like a gong, reverberating through your entire body. She remembered your schedule. Not just vaguely, she knew the exact time your shift starts. And then she said… that.
Was it a joke? A casual tease? A test? A mistake? Was she - no, she didn’t seem drunk.
Your steps quicken, as if you can somehow outrun the storm in your mind, but it’s a losing battle. The echoes of her voice, the deliberate flicker in her gaze, the way she’d licked her lip like she knew exactly what it would do to you. It’s all still there, clinging to you like a second skin.
You stop dead in the middle of the sidewalk, pressing both hands to your head like you can physically stop the spiral. “Nope. Nope. Nope. That did not just happen.” you mutter, your voice growing louder with every word as if volume alone will make it less real. “She’s messing with me. She has to be messing with me.”
But even as you say it, doubt creeps in. You’d thought that before, but it couldn’t all be in your head, could it?
Your hands drop, and you stare blankly at the street ahead, your mind flitting through every possible explanation like a detective unraveling a conspiracy.
‘Ok, so she’s teasing me. No, she’s testing me. No—oh God, what if she’s just bored? What if I’m like, some kind of entertainment for her?’
And then, the most dangerous thought of all slinks into view, unbidden and relentless.
‘What if she wasn’t joking?’
Your knees nearly buckle at the thought, and you force yourself to keep walking, shaking your head like you can physically dislodge the idea.
By the time you reach your door, your heart is still pounding, your face still burning, and your thoughts are definitely still stuck in an endless loop of ‘what the actual fuck just happened?’.
You step inside, kicking the door shut behind you with a quiet thud. The thought of changing or even turning on the lights feels like too much effort, so you head straight to your room. Dropping your bag by the door, you collapse onto the bed face-first, muffling a groan into your pillow.
You let out a long sigh, turning your head just enough to breathe as the pillow muffles the rest of your thoughts. Your body sinks into the mattress, heavy with exhaustion, but your mind refuses to quiet down.
You close your eyes, willing the tension to drain from your shoulders. The weight of her words, of her gaze, of all of the questions. You just want sleep to come quickly and take it all away.
And somehow, after a few restless minutes, it does.

summary; you meet your love again after one hundred years
warnings; agatha all along ep 7 spoilers, canon character death, reader has a small injury, kissing, pining, reader and rio are both kinda idiots, rio and reader are both touchy w each other, main story set after first witches road trial, rio and agatha are not romantically involved
rio vidal had been the only constant friend you’d had in your whole life, but your situation was quite complicated. you were a centuries old witch and, whist technically she was too, she was also death personified, meaning she had a lot of work to do. your friend wasn’t around much, leaving you alone a lot. sometimes you wouldn’t see her for sixty or seventy years at a time. this time, it had been a lot longer than that. that fact tended to leave a pit in your stomach, especially considering your last interaction.
1924
you were sitting in your cabin, your best friend lying next to you, the pair of you giggling into the night, until you were both facing each other. it was very clear that the energy had shifted from lighthearted fun, to something else entirely. in all honesty, it sort of made you feel uneasy, but then again everything rio ever did brought up that feeling. it made most people withdraw from her company, but it only intrigued you more.
currently, her eyes were fixed on yours. you held her gaze. it was clear she was fighting with herself internally to keep her eyes off of your lips, but after a few moments of tension-filled silence, she gave in, her eyes darting to your cherry red lips for only a split second, before you licked them and her eyes darted back up to meet yours once again. it was now that you had realised the position that you had been laying in, your hand lazily on her waist whilst hers rested on top wearily. you moved your hand up, with an uncertain energy, as if one wrong move would ruin what was happening. you moved your hand up to her neck, rubbing it gently, and then up to her face as you caressed it gently. her hand has moved more confidently on to your waist, as she squeezed it lightly. you had hoped she hadn’t caught your breath hitch, but the ghost of a smirk on her face told you that she absolutely had. you could feel her breath, hot and shaky on your face. your hand moved to play with her hair, and with a final burst of confidence, you leaned in to kiss her. just as your lips met hers, you were apart again. she moved her hands from you quickly and jolted to sit up in bed. you looked at her again, but the expression on her face was not one you were familiar with.
“rio, i’m sorry-“ you began. what had you just done?
“i have to go.” she whispered, and just like that it was almost as if she were never there.
2026
it was today that your lovely acquaintance, agatha harkness, had decided to make herself your problem as she practically forced you down the witches road. you didn’t really know why you’d shown up, considering the last time you walked the road together she almost you you slashed into a million pieces, but you went along anyway. when you arrived at her extremely un-agatha like house, you were met with a ragtag group of witches and one random lady that you were sure that the rest of the coven had also noticed. unfortunately the woman had passed away during your first trial, and you were left angrier at agatha than you were before, because she could’ve got you all killed by not drinking that wine. you were ready to force it down her throat at one point.
one of the witches, a tall woman dressed head to toe in pink, had suggested summoning a green witch to the road, since they didn’t actually have one. none of you seemed against the idea, and so that’s exactly what you did. had you known what was going to happen mere moments later, you’d have an entirely different opinion.
agatha’s coven all stood still anticipating the arrival of the new green witch, you were a bit less interested, just wanting to leave, and so were not fully paying attention until a single hand shot up from under the ground. a hand that, embarrassingly, you still recognised. the pit that formed in your stomach was one you’d never felt, and it got so much worse when her full figure came into view. she hadn’t aged a day, well she had, she’s aged over a hundred years, but she still looked exactly the same as she did that night in the cabin. as she introduced herself, you hid yourself from view behind the lady dressed in pink, jen, who you’d decided was the only tolerable one here, but it was no use. she had seen you.
“y/n…” she smirked. this earned looks from the whole coven, considering her dramatic entrance.
“i have to go.”
you felt ill as you turned your heel and walked swiftly in the other direction. “maybe this is my trial?” you thought hopefully, praying that you’d turn around and the coven would all be dressed in hideous outfits that the road had picked out for them, but no, when you turned around, you were met by the hypnotic gaze of rio.
“y/n…” she began, “been a while.”
“don’t.” you snapped, “don’t even try.”
“what’s the problem?” she asked, feigning innocence.
“what’s the problem? rio its been over a hundred years.” you spat, malice dripping from your tone. she seemed to enjoy it.
“i’ve been… busy.” she replied playfully.
you didn’t respond.
carefully, she waded over to you, placing a hand on your lower back and using the other to grab your face to look at her.
not breaking eye contact, she brought her hand down to your collarbone, dragging her fingertips along a gash that you’d received from broken glass in the trial. you shuddered at the coldness of her touch. it brought you back to that night, because the only time you’d ever felt her heat up, was when your hand was on her face in the cabin.
her eyes met yours once again and she smiled gently, the same smile she’d smiled all those years ago, before leaning into you.
“rio.” you mumbled, stopping her. you looked up at her with conflicted eyes.
“come on,” she whispered, “look me in the eyes and tell me you feel nothing for me.”
“well clearly that’s not the case, rio, is it?” you spat, fighting the tears that were threatening to spill.
“so what’s the problem?” she asked, both hands now on your face.
“you shut me down the last time, remember?” you spoke, trying your best to drill into her head what she had done to you. “and then you think if you show up here a hundred years later and give me a kiss it’s all gonna be okay?”
“do you know why i left that night?” she whispered, dragging a cold hand into your hair, your eyes threatening to close at her action.
“oh, please, lady death, enlighten me! why did you leave me for a hundred years?” you asked, sarcasm lacing your tone. you caught her slight demeanor change at the use of her title, but it faded quickly.
“i was scared.”
and you couldn’t help but let yourself laugh humourlessly in her face.
“of what, rio, tell me what you were so scared of.”
“that i was’t good enough for you.” she replied, talking to the floor.
“don’t, you’ll set me off again.” wiping tears of laughter from your flushed cheeks.
she didn’t say anything.
“oh.” was all you could muster, “you’re serious?”
she could only nod.
subconsciously your hands wrapped around her waist, before they traveled up to her face.
“well you’re wrong.” you whispered, as she leaned into your touch.
“am i?” she asked, being more serious than you’d ever saw her.
“please, trust me, you’re the only one good enough for me, rio.” you replied, eyes never leaving hers.
“is that right?” she smirked, her confident demeanour reappearing.
“would i have said it if it wasn’t?” you smiled.
“so are you gonna let me kiss you now, or…” rio smirked, one hand grabbing at your waist, the other fidgeting with a strand of your hair.
“come here, you idiot.” you giggled, as you pulled her closer to you, and she grabbed your face to close the gap between you. kissing rio was a difficult feeling to describe, the best way you could would be to say that it’d be the same feeling you’d experience if you set foot in antarctica with no jacket, but it didn’t bother you, as long as you could do this again.

Pairing: Dom!Older!Cop!Agatha x Younger!Sub!Reader x Younger!Brat!Rio
NSFW below MDNI 🔥🔥🔥
This had been the plan for weeks now, ever since you and Rio received a text invite from your mutual college friend inviting you to a small reunion “get-together”.
The description of the event was misleading, as the two of you knew from your college friendship with the girl named Alice, and it took quite a bit of persuasion from the two of you to convince your girlfriend, Agatha, to let you go to what was sure to be a rager.
Since you and Rio had met in high school and were in a sort of FWB relationship for a year in college before meeting Agatha (who turned out to be the missing piece you needed to form a real relationship) she had a tendency to get jealous- Especially when the two of you hung out with your other friends from the years before you knew the older woman.
What she didn’t know was that you two were obsessed with her from the moment you all met at your forensics mixer where she was giving a presentation on her work with the police force in the town you and Rio grew up in, and that you still worshipped her after all this time.
She eventually caved, giving you and Rio the go ahead to attend the party when she realized she would be stuck with patrol duty on that night anyway. So now, you and the younger of your girlfriends stood back-to-front in front of the full length mirror in your bedroom, admiring one another.
Rio’s arms snake around your waist, her lips ghosting the shell of your ear as she whispers, “You look so.. so good, Y/N. I’m not sure Agatha will let us out the door with you looking like this.” She smirks as she slips that last part in and ducks down to kiss down the side of your neck to your shoulder, where she eventually rests her chin. A faint red paints your face as you meet her eyes in the mirror and admire her own outfit.
She wears your favorite black jeans that were perfectly tight around her hips and ass, but flowed out to a baggy straight cut towards the bottom and a loose, barely-buttoned, sheer black button-up shirt. It was a simple look, but one that drove you crazy when she wore it, especially now with her hair down, air-dried and wavy.
In front of her, you wore and equally simple and captivating tight black dress with Agatha’s black leather jacket and matching high-heeled boots. You look back to meet Rio in a short but passionate kiss, pulling away only when you felt your older girlfriend’s presence, watching from the door frame where she leant with her chin tilted and arms crossed across her chest.
“So I can’t leave the two of you alone for three minutes before you forget your rules with each other… How am I supposed to trust you two sluts without me at this party for hours?” Agatha speaks through her teeth before taking quick strides towards you two. She sits on the edge of the bed just a foot away from where you stand now, jaw dropped and still pressed against Rio.
“Go ahead, keep going. Let me know what kind of show you plan to put on for those classmates of yours.” It has to be a trap. If you don’t press yourself back against your girlfriend, you’d be disobeying her, but if you do, you’d be confirming her accusations in some sick way.
Instead, Rio speaks up. “We don’t want to put on a show for anyone but you, Agatha, swear. You’re the only one who can see us like this.”
You can see the wheels turning in Agatha’s mind as she stares at Rio for a second longer before standing back up. She grabs the back of your neck and pulls you into a bruising kiss while her free hand finds Rio’s ass. The latter whines at the combination of the sight of her girlfriends kissing so close to her and the possessive grip Agatha assumes on her curves.
Agatha pulls away from you while dragging your bottom lip away with her teeth, just enough to draw the smallest drops of blood to taste through the night and remember her by. “You wanna speak up, doll?”
Rio’s eyes are clouded with lust as her pointer and middle fingers fiddle with her bottom lip as she shakes her head. A firm grip wraps around her wrist and pulls the fingers away, only to be quickly replaced with those of your older girlfriend. “Open.” The single-worded command barely gets a second to hang in the air before Rio invites the pair of digits into her mouth, yearning for the way Agatha always slightly tipped her head back and tightened her jaw as she took in the overwhelming act of submission from the (eight months) older of her two young girlfriends.
Once she’s decided it’s enough, she slides her fingers out and walks away from the two of you. Once she reaches the door frame, she speaks. “Alright. You two can still go. But if I find out that just one of those whores looks at you guys with any kind of intentions or ideas… You’ll wish you never asked to leave this room. Especially dressed like that.” Both you and Rio know better than to question how she would find out about something like that.
“Have a good shift, hon, text us if you need us to bring anything home.” Is all you manage to squeak out before she slips out of the doorway with a horrifying silence.
You and Rio finish getting ready in a shared silence, only speaking again when you get in the car and play your car-eoke playlist, and even then you’re just screaming to what’s essentially a Soulja Boy highlight reel.
Your previous confrontation with Agatha had been long forgotten once you and Rio grabbed a beer each and joined Alice in the family room, littered with an equal mix of creepy has-been men who peaked when you knew them in highschool and the girls whose company you’d actually enjoyed between the long nights you spent with Rio, both slumped over your textbooks since Rio always seemed to “displace” hers.
You were so caught up in a conversation about the shoddy collection of local bookshops with Alice that you hadn’t noticed Rio signaling you to look towards the pair of boys stumbling towards you two. You were deep in such a tipsy passionate rant about the only quality vintage bookstore in Westview that you didn’t even notice the boys until one of them grabbed your shoulder, the other mirroring his brother’s actions on your girlfriend, spinning you and Rio so that you were facing them.
Overcome with disgust, you brush the slightly taller of the two’s hand off of your shoulder, then shoving the other’s off of Rio’s and grabbing her wrist.
“Woah, calm down! You ladies are even feistier than I remember from senior year.” Now you remembered their names. Vision and a boy you only knew by his lame ass basketball nickname, Wonderman. The pair’s cockiness had always made you despise them, though it was clear they didn’t catch that vibe from the way they insisted on teasing and talking to you every science class that you had together. Obviously they hadn’t learned that, even now.
“Did your mom raise you with like, any manners at all? Don’t fucking touch her. Don’t touch ME.” Rio spat, turning to lead you away and into the kitchen by your grip on her wrist when Vision caught your other wrist.
“Yo, I think we got off on the wrong foot. I’m Vision, and you can call my brother here W,” the one gripping your wrist says, followed by the other saying, “We couldn’t help but notice you ladies from across the room… And judging by your fits, you two were seeking some attention from some guys like us.” You seriously couldn’t believe anything they were saying was real, it seemed to be straight out of a Chat-GPT generated high school movie script.
Neither you nor Rio had a chance to respond before the room was flooded with red and blue lights from through the windows, disrupting the energy and silencing everyone- that was until Alice scrambled on top of her coffee table and yelled, “Noise complaint! Cops! Get the fuck out!”
You and Rio, along with everyone else, were quick to file out. Unfortunately for the two of you, the entire men’s basketball team seemed to be in attendance and pushed you further into the house during your attempted escape, meaning you were the last two out.
However, you seemed to finally be in the clear as you found footing on the beer-soiled grass… and so did the sweaty boys from before. They grasped your shoulders once more, saying they were “So glad we could find you ladies and make sure you’re safe” since you “Need a few strong men to help you out of such a scary situation.” Just then, a booming, staticky voice is emitted and echos all around the four of you.
“Boys, take your hands off of those ladies or so help me God, I will throw you in the back of this car and you won’t see anything but the brick walls of a county cell for weeks.” The voice called out, sending chills through all four of your spines. The boys because they weren’t nearly as brave as they liked to present themselves as, and you and Rio because you knew who was behind the speaker system. Agatha.
The boys split, and you and Rio are frozen as Agatha slowly approaches, hands in her pockets, her uniform clinging to her deliciously.
Once she’s close enough to feel the fear radiating off of her girlfriends, she speaks so lowly you can hear the rasp in her throat.
“So let me get this right, girls. I, against my better judgement, let you whores go to this party because you begged me so, so prettily for weeks, even after that little stunt I walked in on a few hours ago. I’m out patrolling for all of an hour when I go to investigate a noise complaint and see you allowing two sleezebags to touch what’s mine? Are you out of your fucking minds?”
You’re now trembling with fear at the intensity of her voice, horrified of what’s coming for you. Rio is buzzing with excitement at the vast amount of possibilities for the night ahead of you all. Agatha, well-tuned to each of your tells, reads this perfectly.
Should I do a part two or am I the only person that wants any of this LMK lol bye

- Devil Woman
Relationships: Agatha Harkeness x Rio Vidal x Reader
Summary: Based on a request. You had the ability to shapeshift, but as a result you take the life force of the creature you shifted into. Rio Vidal is curious when she can't collect your soul and you somehow cheat death.
Warnings: Nothing really?
A/N: This took forever and I am so sorry. I am currently working through all the lingering requests and I apologise for it taking so long. That said, this was pretty fun to write but also sorry if it's shit.
Your powers came at a price, you've known that since you were little. Life in exchange for death. Power in exchange for weakness. At this point you considered it more of a curse than a power, but it came in handy at certain situations. In an attempt to blend in with society, hide from curious witches and relentless questions, you worked at a diner in the middle of nowhere. Well, not the middle of nowhere, it was still quite populated, especially now as customers flowed in with the sun high in the sky.
You bustled about, a tray balanced on your hand as you passed drinks and food out to your tables. Approaching a new pair of customers, you froze and your eyes narrowed. A woman who wore white clothes sat there. Next to her was a teenager, his clothes a complete opposite to hers, dark and moody. It wasn't their stark contrast that threw you off. Rather it was the subtle pull of magic that you felt. Not only that but her eyes were trained on you, and as you looked closer you knew who it was. Everyone knew those icy blue eyes and confident smirk.
Agatha Harkness.
Inhaling sharply, you neared them, plastering a fake smile on your face, "What can I get you guys today?"
The teenager glanced at Agatha, unsure. The older witch leaned forward. Her hands crossed under her chin as she smirked and caught your gaze.
"Come with us," she whispered, her voice taunting and alluring, "We're venturing the road and we need a full coven."
You scoffed at her words, lowering your pen and paper into your pocket once it was clear she wasn't actually ordering anything. There was an infuriating smirk plastered across her pink lips. You rolled your eyes, you had never believed in The Road, convinced it was something fake. No one came back from it alive. It stood to reason that it may not even exist.
"I'll pass." You settled your hands on your hips, "Now did you want to order something?"
Agatha huffed, leaning back in her seat and waving a dismissive hand. You nodded in satisfaction, about to turn away, when you felt a piece of paper slip into your pocket. Just barely you caught Agatha's hand slipping away. She made eye contact with you, an infuriating sense of confidence radiating off her.
You stomped off the back, yanking whatever she shoved in your pocket out. It was an address, scribbled out in messy, small, handwriting. Despite yourself, you couldn't help contemplate heading there that night.
^_____________^
You ran your fingers along the intricate door, tracing the familiar carvings carefully. The coven, plus Rio, stood behind you, their eyes boring into your back.
"This yours?" Rio asked, her breath warm against the back of your neck. She stood directly behind you, pressing up against you and ignoring your sidestep to get away.
Faintly, you nodded, grabbing the handle and pushing it in. Your heart pitter-pattered at the familiar interior, black and white pictures lining the walls and furniture that others nearly bumped into. It was a cluttered mess, just like when you had first moved in. Despite your inner turmoil, you reached down and picked up a picture, gripping the wooden frame tightly. Your parents stood side by side, proud smiles on their faces as they held baby you - chubby cheeks and just a spot of hair. Your lips were pulled wide into a gummy smile in the photo and your tiny hand was gripping your mother's shirt.
A bittersweet smile danced across your face at the picture.
"Are these your parents?" Alice stood off to your right, her own hands tracing pictures on the wall. The coven was enraptured by the serene house, the only personalized one so far. All the other's had been purely random, but yours was a house you had lived in.
You nodded, your voice soft, "Yeah."
Jen scoffed, her nose upturned as she studied the photos, and you resisted the urge to lunge at her. She had no right to be judging your family. Teen bounced on his toes excitedly and warmth spread through you as he ran a finger over an animal in the photos.
"You guys had a cat?"
You looked at the photo. It had your mother standing next to your father, his arm wrapped around her waist as he held her close, his face leaning down and noses brushing together. It captured their love perfectly. But perched on your mother's shoulder was a cat, one white as snow, that seemed to be chirping indignantly. You remembered that day clear as day, your parents wanting to take family photos, but you had refused to change form.
Shapeshifting was something you had been cursed with since you were born. The ability to change from your human form into that of an animal, any animal you wished. Some people would call this a gift. You didn't see it as such. Every time you shapeshifted, the creature died, it's life force being added to yours. It granted you some form of immortality that you didn't want. You wanted to join your parents in the afterlife, but when your body forced you to turn it kept you alive.
You could feel Agatha's eyes boring into you as you answered Teen, "No, that's me."
"A shapeshifter?" Agatha licked her lips, taking a step closer, "Those are quite rare."
Rio eyed you from behind Agatha, her dagger curling in her hand as she poked her tongue against her cheek. Her brown eyes seemed as if they were trying to find out everything about you in a single look, trying to pry open your soul.
"It's not like I asked for it," you scoffed, feeling awkward with all the eyes on you, "Come on, let's figure out what this trial is about." You could tell that everyone else wanted to ask questions, to implore about your curse, but you didn't let them.
Meandering further into the house, you froze at the sight of a drink on the table. It was a faint pink, the liquid completely still inside the cup as a note sat perched next to it. Agatha picked it up delicately, her fingers curling around the paper and eyes scanning over it. She glanced up with a smirk and the cup in her hand.
"Looks like this is for you," she swished it around, handing it to you. You wrinkled your nose as a potent smell hit you. The rest of the coven was staring at it suspiciously and Lillia was oddly quiet as she stared off into space, Rio too. The woman stood at the back of the group, knife twirling between her fingers as she eyed you up and down. Reluctantly, you plugged your nose and downed the drink, jugging it all down.
Alice crinkled her nose, "If you get poisoned..."
"I am not making another antidote," Jen scoffed.
She rolled her eyes, and Teen hid a small smile behind his hand. Agatha's eyes remained trained on you as you gulped the entire thing down, gagging once you finished. For a moment nothing happened, just a strange tingling sensation that slowly spread through your body.
You knew it was happening the moment your heart stopped beating.
The bones in your body cracked, the sound popping through the room and you could hear Lillia let out a disgusted sound. Your limbs twisted and intertwined as you started shifting against your will. Over time, the process had gotten easier, but this time it was just as painful as the first. Biting down on your lip hard enough to draw blood, you squeezed your eyes shut and forced a scream down. It felt like everything in you was on fire.
Your body was shrinking. That was why it was a sharp pain, your bones breaking and reforming as smaller ones, your organs constricting until they were the right size. Once more, you exhaled before the pain stopped and you could feel the rapid beat of your heart again.
Everyone else was so much bigger as they stared down at you, awe and confusion written across their faces. You lifted what would be your hand into your view, only for it to be a paw. A black, fluffy paw. You were a cat. Great.
You tried to force yourself to turn back, but it wouldn't work. Even as you pawed at yourself and shut your eyes, you stayed as a stupid cat. A stupidly small one too.
Letting out a frustrated sound, which was really just a meow, a smirk crossed Agatha's face. She crouched down, her hand reaching out with a taunting coo. You were prepared for her to pick you up, but then your heart stopped again. The animal body you were in died.
Painfully, your human form came back, your body aching and sore. The witches were eyeing you oddly.
"That's weird," you muttered, and the back door opened on queue. It was confusing. Was that the trial? That couldn't be it. But there was a lingering voice in your head telling you secrets weren't meant to be kept. You weren't allowed to have secrets and the road forced yours out.
The coven exited and it wasn't long before a fire was set up, all of you huddling around it, most of them asleep. Rio was the only one awake, her brown eyes piercing from across the fire. You met her gaze, tilting your head. Memories of your parents replayed in your head every time you closed your eyes. Your mom's soft smile and dad's tender words. It made sleeping difficult.
"You died." She stated bluntly.
You blinked at her owlishly for a moment, "How do you know that?"
"Your heart stopped, you stopped breathing, you died," She squinted her eyes, a knife twirling in her hand, "You're not supposed to be here."
You had heard myths that Death took on a human form. You never believed them, but now you were starting to think they were true. There was no other way that Rio could have known that and there was always something odd about her. A certain air that drifted around that just reeked of death.
"You're death, aren't you?" You tilted your head in a dog-like gesture.
Rio shrugged, a smirk playing on her lips. She stood from her spot on the other side of the fire, rounding around to you. Crouching in front of you, Rio tilted your chin up with her knife, leaning close.
"Smart," she whispered, her breath right up in your face, "I should be able to collect you, yet I can't." Her fingers trailed up your legs, nearing your thighs before slowly tracing their way all the way up to your neck. "Why's that?"
Your breath caught in your throat, and you just barely managed to choke out, "I don't know."
Her knife was cold against the underside of your chin, and you flinched when she pushed the tip closer, a sharp, small, pain pricking there. You felt a droplet of blood form. Rio smiled at you, her lips curling upwards tauntingly.
"If I killed you now, would you come back to life?" She mused, pursuing her lips. You tried to flinch away, but Rio just chased you with the knife.
There was an annoyed throat cleared, "Leave her be Rio."
You didn't dare move, but you knew it was Agatha and you saw her move out of the corner of your eye, but you stayed focused on Rio. Death rolled her eyes, pushing the knife in just a bit deeper, before pulling back. She sat back on her shins with a pout. The younger witch studied you, her blue eyes icy and piercing. You blinked right back at her.
"You are certainly interesting," she mumbled, her eyes never leaving yours.
A sudden movement from Rio brought your eyes back to hers. She grasped your chin, tilting your head towards her, "When this is all over, would you let me study you?" Although it was phrased as a question, and the suddenness of it caught you off guard, you nodded hesitantly.
^_______________^
Your entire body ached as you sat in Agatha's backyard. You were splayed out, hands at your sides, as Agatha and Rio were somewhere. You honestly weren't sure. Their fight was intense, one that was brutal and you regretted being in the middle of it, and it ended with Billy being taken.
As much as you were sad about, you knew it was the natural cycle of life, but that didn't stop the guilt. According to Rio, you disobeyed the laws, but she couldn't collect your soul since you were still alive. You only died when shifting, and even then, it wasn't long enough for her to gather your soul. Squinting, you stared up at the figure obscuring the sun - Rio smirked down at you, her brown eyes twinkling with mischief.
"I've dealt with the child," she said flippantly, her hand extended down to you, "Now time to deal with you."
You had agreed to let her study you, although you weren't quite sure what that entailed, and she was holding you to that promise. Reaching up, you grasped her hand and the moment you did, the world swirled around you. Green mist was dispersed as you gathered your bearings, suddenly standing, and not in Agatha's backyard.
Large dark walls loomed over you, going well above your head, and Rio's hand was cold in yours. The air was musty and chilly as you shivered, drawing your arms close and studying the area. Rio leaned in close, her breath hot in contrast to the cool area, "Let's get started, shall we?"
^____________^
Turns out being Rio's "study" was an excuse for her to mess with you. She had been "studying" you for several years, and in all that time, not once had the two of you made an interesting discovery. Agatha liked to help out, often visiting Rio's abode with some sort of trinket for you and assisting in the "studies."
The three of you studied more than just your abilities.
You were sitting at a desk, scribbling on a piece of paper as you concentrated. None of it made sense. While you hadn't thought about it much before, and offhand comment from Rio the other day got you thinking. She said that she didn't collect animal souls. For a moment you thought that was why she couldn't collect yours, but Rio waved that away, claiming that she felt your soul die. The human one.
Was it something you should have thought of earlier? Yes. Did you? No.
There was a pair of hands placed over your eyes, "Guess who?" A voice chirped.
"Hi Rio," you greeted, gently prying her cold hands from your face, placing a tender kiss on each of them. Your girlfriend smiled as she dropped herself into your lap, arms wrapping around your neck and grinning up at you happily.
"What are you working on?" Her voice was low as she leaned close, pressing a kiss to your lips before you could respond. She tasted of fresh flowers and smelled of the earth. You wanted to melt into her touch, absorb the warmth she was giving you, but your mind was still spinning. Returning her kiss for only a moment, you pulled away gently and ignored her pout.
"Is it possible for a human soul to fuse with an animal soul?"
Your question caught her off guard, you could tell by the slight widening of her eyes, and she pursed her lips. Rio tilted her head, squinting her eyes, before shrugging.
"Never thought about that," she said flippantly, trailing her fingers up your chest. You sighed in exasperation, leaning forward and pressing a chaste kiss to her lips.
"Is Agatha going to be home soon?" Rio hummed against your lips, a very faint answer to your question, and this time you let her kiss you until you had to pull apart for air. Still, you were trying not to get distracted.
"Is it possible," you began, trailing off as you bit your lips, "That my soul fuses with the animal's? And that's why you feel me die, but can't collect it?"
When Rio realized, you weren't going to drop it, she took on a thoughtful expression. It took a moment before she slowly responded, "I believe so."
"You believe what?" Agatha's sudden voice startled you, and you wiped your head around. She stood in the doorway to your office with a small smile. Striding over to you, Agatha bent down and placed a kiss on your forehead before doing the same with Rio.
"Our darling girl has a new theory," Rio informed her. Your face flushed a delicate pink at the term of endearment.
"Not really," you shrugged awkwardly, still not used to their attention after all these years, but after Agatha's prompting look, you continued, "I think that my soul may be fusing with the animal's when I shift, and then like de-fusing when I return."
Agatha smiled pleased, "You're so smart," she praised, pressing another kiss, but this time to your lips, "We can explore that some more, alright?"
You nodded, happy with her response. Both of them looked at you with so much love, so much praise, so much care. You adored it. They didn't care that you had a weird ability. They were only curious and only loved you.
"I love you," you whispered, "Both of you."

Clipping your bag safely back onto your belt, you bid the kind dressmaker farewell and motion to leave her Madison Avenue boutique.
Several days ago and after a rather lengthy trip aboard a steamship across the Atlantic, you finally arrived in the hustling and bustling New York City, the city of dreams in the land of opportunity.
Over the years, you have developed quite a respectable reputation as a commissioned portrait artist for the wealthy with an admired talent that both boosts their egos as well as your own wealth. After a lifetime of travelling across the European continent, you decided to migrate to the Americas in search of a new opportunity, or rather a muse to reignite your inspiration and maybe for a little fun on the side too.
The dressmaker quickly assures you that she’ll have your clothes ready by the end of the week, a welcome relief since you’re still waiting for your remaining belongings to arrive by sea.
On your way out of the boutique, you thank her one last time, not paying attention to your surroundings and distractedly bumping into another woman with a fright.
“Oh, I’m terribly sorry! Are you quite alright?” the esteemed lady apologises profusely.
You swiftly regain your bearings and brush her off. “It is no problem at all. I apologise as well for not watching where I was going,” you say guiltily.
The instant you both glance up though, she seemingly forgets about the entire ordeal. You recognise immediately the starstruck look on her face that can only mean that she somehow knows who you are, that word of your talents has already travelled across the seas through migrated aristocrats and the like.
“My word! You’re Y/N Y/L/N, aren’t you?” she asks breathlessly.
With a smirk that you try your best to mask as humble, you can’t deny the pride of being so quickly recognised in this new city.
“Indeed I am, a pleasure to make your acquaintance Ms…?”
“Agatha Harkness, dear, but my friends call me Agnes. It’s lovely to meet you,” she introduces with a shake of your extended hand. “Say, I don’t believe I heard word that you were in our fine city. And I assure you, I would have if it were known. No news gets past me. If anything, I’m always the first to know.”
You bet she is, you nod overwhelmed, quietly taking in the words of someone who is clearly a gossip.
There’s an odd and rather manic intensity about her, you notice. You brush it off as the typical artificial friendliness of the elite and especially of the nouveau riche, which you suspect Agnes is.
And yet, it still feels like something is off about her, like she’s not quite herself, a peculiar strain in her smile and an emptiness behind her eyes. How odd.
“I only arrived a few days ago, is why. All my luggage hasn’t even arrived yet.”
“I see… if that’s the case, why I don’t suppose I could commission you then? Be the first American to have their very own Y/L/N painting?” she requests giddily.
Her excitement rubs off on you, no matter how eerie, and you can’t deny her. “Well, I don’t see why not. I’ll have my people be in contact with you to sort out the details soon.”
“My, I can’t believe my luck!” she celebrates. “Oh! You must attend my gala tonight. Please, be my guest of the evening. Let me have the honour of being the one to introduce you to our society here.”
Once again, you’re charmed by her fierce enthusiasm. “Of course, the honour shall be mine.”
Frankly, you don’t really think it’ll be any different from the circles you traversed in Europe, but who knows, maybe you’ll meet someone intriguing.
—
Later that evening, long after the sun has already set, you step out of your personal carriage at Harkness Hall, located in the newer district of the Upper East Side.
Politely being escorted through the manor, you finally arrive at the ballroom and when the grand doors open, all eyes instantly land on you as you are faced with similar expressions of recognition as Agnes’. Said woman speedily and yet somehow elegantly races up the steps, rushing to your side.
Delicately tapping a fork against the side of her champagne glass, she easily silences the commotion in the crowd below. “Might I have your attention, my friends, to introduce you to my esteemed guest of the evening, the wonderfully talented Miss Y/N Y/L/N.”
As soon as she finishes, a rush of wealthy men and women alike gasp and rush to the foot of the stairs. Agnes proudly links her arm around yours, as if you were childhood friends instead of mere acquaintances, and leads you down the stairs into the pit that awaits you. For a second, and only a second, a rush of anxiety ambushes you but you mask it with some well-practiced charm.
For the next while, Agnes personally introduces you to all the socialites interested in portraits of their own, showing off the fact that she is your first client.
You quickly tire of their suffocating attention and it’s only when you peer past the crowd that you notice that one lone woman hasn’t so much as flinched at your presence, instead remaining in the shadows along the walls and gracing you with only a mere glance.
As the night rages on, you curiously observe the intriguing woman from across the ballroom. With a keen eye, you take note of her every detail. Of her deep burgundy gown so dark it almost resembles blood when illuminated in the light, of her thin black birdcage veil that covers her eyes behind the intricate lace, and committing it all to memory.
She moves with a certain refined grace you’ve only seen few nobles possess and despite primarily keeping to herself, exudes an intimidating and rather domineering aura felt throughout the hall. Only a few dare to approach her, some men who don’t know any better and a few attendants who don’t have any other choice. Every so often, she catches your gaze and you almost feel the air leave your lungs.
When the crowd eventually disperses, you pull at the link between your and Agnes’ arms and inquire about your newest interest. “Agnes, might I ask, that woman over there standing alone by the fireplace, who is she?”
“Ahh, why that would be the elusive Countess Maximoff. Our Lady Wanda hails from a distant European kingdom, or so she says. Frankly, she could be anyone from anywhere in the world considering how little we all know about her,” she briefly explains.
Countess Wanda Maximoff, you recite in your mind. A fascinating yet beautiful name for an equally as alluring woman.
“She’s a well-known and respected socialite in this city. In fact, she might even be the richest of all of us, but no one knows for sure, just as no one knows exactly what she is a Countess of,” Agnes continues, unprompted. Internally, you thank her for being so nosy.
“I must apologise, unfortunately that is really all I know about her. She was already residing in New York when I arrived from Salem many months ago,” she admits. “I do know, however, that she has no husband or family of her own. The rumours are that she had a husband once and that he either died or simply disappeared. Either way, she isn’t a typical woman of our society.”
Lost in thought, you take in her words, all serving to only interest you more and more in the stunning yet seemingly solitary woman.
“Miss Y/N,” Agnes calls, breaking you out of your intense trance as you stare at the mysterious woman. “I must tell you, Lady Maximoff is actually currently staying as a guest at Harkness Hall. For a few days now actually, and for the next while when you complete my portrait.”
Oh?
Why doesn’t that make things all the more interesting…
“Y/N, it’s best that you stay away from her. Trust me, there’s something unusual about her that one must not associate themselves with,” Agnes warns you seriously, a stark contrast from the enthusiastic and bubbly person you’ve become familiar with today.
You turn to her and look in her eyes again. For the first time today, you detect a clarity in them, a genuineness that only confuses you more.
“Agnes, may I ask, why did you accept her as a guest if you dislike her so?” you question.
“No one says no to Wanda Maximoff,” Agnes replies ominously. “Every so often, she requests to stay with one of her ‘friends’ for a short while. It turns out that this time I drew the short straw. She always has some sort of excuse, she told me that her estate is undergoing works, but I’m certain she has other properties. All I know is you don’t disobey a woman like her.”
You give some thought to Agnes’ words, to her warnings and the seeping fear that comes through. And yet, the idea of such a strange woman, defiant to the strict norms of high society, who you don’t disobey, only intrigues you more and more.
You regard the woman in red and decide in the moment that no matter what, you’re going to solve the mystery of the elusive Wanda Maximoff, even if it kills you.
Dismissing Agnes’ warnings and brushing off her arm that attempts to pull you back, you waltz across the room and beeline toward Wanda. In the corner of your eye, you spot horrified looks from the other socialites around the room, but ignore them all the same and focus only on the woman in front of you watching you approach her with an amused yet impressed eye.
And you’re glad you do because up close, the Lady Maximoff is absolutely and entirely striking, breathtaking and enchanting and every other word you would use if you were a poet instead of an artist staring at her new muse.
Her milky skin is notably pale and perfectly contrasts against her chocolate brown hair, so soft you almost want to run your hands through the layered strands. Studying her bone structure, you note that it’s incredibly sharp and accentuated by the shadows, making her resemble a sculpture carved from marble come to life. Even under the lace veil, her eyes are enchanting, a clear sage green that complements her dark maroon dress.
For the first second or two, you find yourself rather speechless, the entire English language suddenly disappearing from your vocabulary as you take in her beauty.
In the same second, you notice offhandedly that she too rakes her eyes up and down your form. Feeling a shiver run down your spine under the weight of her gaze, you hope she appreciates the sight as much as you appreciate yours.
“Hello, Y/N Y/L/N, my lady,” you manage to say and extend your hand towards her.
“I know,” she replies with a smirk, seemingly entertained by your courage (or stupidity). “You’ve been quite popular tonight, among the ladies especially. The woman of the evening I hear.”
A part of you is secretly delighted. That means she’s noticed you just as much as you’ve noticed her. The other part is dazedly captivated by the deep lilt in her accent, hinting at whichever secretive European land she originates from, a part of the mystery you seek to soon unravel.
“And whose company do I have the pleasure of being graced with, might I ask?” you tease.
In response, she simply smirks at your charming attempts and finally accepts your hand. “Countess Wanda Maximoff,” she formally introduces, “but I’m sure you already knew that too.”
Delicately, you clasp her gloved hand in yours and place an innocent kiss below the back of her silk-covered knuckles. Proudly, you earn another smile from her at the endearing impropriety of a young girl pressing a gentlemanly kiss on the back of her hand.
“You’re awfully bold, aren’t you?” she remarks with a cock of her head.
“Artists love beautiful things,” you smirk. “It just so happens I’ve found the most beautiful of all.”
She scrunches her nose as she cringes at your flirtatious attempt. You don’t regret your words though when you mean it so sincerely.
“To what do I owe the pleasure of your company, Miss Y/L/N?” she asks, skipping the pretenses. “I’m sure you’ve already heard all the things they say about me.”
“I don’t care about them and what they have to say. I’d rather hear it all from you instead,” you profess.
Peering down at her wine glass, she smiles again at your attempts to charm her. This one seems a little more genuine though, a sign that your persistence (and perhaps, foolishness) is slowly piercing through her walls.
She looks back up at you and seemingly ponders your unsaid request as she pensively sips her wine. At last, she says, “Alright then, what would you like to know?”
You grin cheekily at having so easily won her favour. “Well for starters, pray tell me, which land do you come from?”
“Europe,” she answers simply.
You both know that you already knew that, both because Agnes already told you as well as the evident hints of Slavic you identify in her accent.
“Where might one find your county of ownership though, my Countess?” you attempt to press.
“I’m sure you’d like to know,” she teases with another smirk, just as mysterious and secretive as Agnes described.
You’ve spent your entire life travelling through Europe’s High Societies, from the Parisian aristocracy to Florence’s art scene, and yet you’ve never heard of or seen her before this night. And you’d certainly remember if you did, she’s not a face one forgets.
“So, we’re playing this game, are we?”
“You started it, Miss Y/L/N,” she matches your teasing tone.
You’ve noticed that she only calls you by your name formally, keeping a distance between the two of you despite having let you in more than anyone else tonight.
You’re even more aware of all the eyes on you, watching like hawks as your interaction plays out. How odd of a pair you must be, a sight to behold you’re sure. You’re keenly aware of how you’re likely equally as intriguing and alien as she is. How your existence defies the rigid social norms; a girl of your standing able to dance through high society while working to accumulate your own wealth and remaining single at a less than conventional age. You wonder if perchance, in this way, you interest her as much as she interests you.
Clearing your throat, you decide to accept that this is as much as you’ll learn about her tonight. “Agnes tells me you’re staying as a guest at Harkness Hall,” you segue instead.
Tilting her head once again, she lifts an eyebrow in curiosity. “That would be correct.”
“As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, I have been commissioned to paint a portrait for Ms Harkness.” Gently, you once again place a kiss on the back of her resting hand. “I suppose we’ll be seeing more of each other then,” you quietly bid farewell before walking away, not turning back although you know she’s following you with a curious eye.
Later throughout the night, the other cautious elites approach you one by one, all warning you to stay away from Wanda. There’s a certain look in their eyes that you can’t quite decipher yet, resembling that of Agnes’ expression if you really think about it. Something akin to fear or intimidation or something in between and like they’re trying to tell you something they can’t say with words. Their warnings only serve to further interest you in the Countess and the mystery that surrounds her though.
Returning your gaze to the woman before you depart for the evening, you find her already staring fervently at you with a smile you can only describe as devilish. Her pearly white teeth seem to sparkle under the chandelier’s light and you swear that from this side of the ballroom, you spot a glimmer of red in her eyes under the veil.
But, when you remember her beautiful green eyes, you suppose it’s simply a trick of the light.
—
The day after the next, you return to Harkness Hall for your first session with Agnes.
The moment you step foot through the doors, you instantly search for Wanda but are dismayed to fail in your pursuit, not even hearing word of her throughout the entire day. From morning to night, while you’re painting in Agnes’ drawing room or enjoying lunch with her in the garden, you never see Wanda even once.
You suppose it’s a large estate so it’s not hard to believe that your paths wouldn’t cross, but the thought does nothing to dispel the persistent pout on your face.
You honestly try your very hardest to focus on the woman posing in front of you, but the task is near impossible. You almost want to ask Agnes about Wanda, where she is and what she’s doing, but you suppose that would be highly improper. Not that you would typically care, you’d just rather not let it be known how taken you’ve become with her.
It’s only later that evening when you walk through the estate to take your leave, around the eleventh hour after the sun has already set and the hustle and bustle of Harkness Hall has come to a standstill, that your eyes once again find the Countess’ solitary form.
Bathed in the moonlight, the Lady sits by herself in the courtyard facing away from you. You’re once again struck by her beauty. In this pure light and under the night sky, her ivory skin almost glows. You briefly ponder the idea that she could be an angel descended from the heavens above.
Seemingly sensing your presence, despite how stealthily you’d hidden yourself behind the doorway, she spins around faster than you can blink and catches you.
“Miss Y/L/N,” she remarks with a drawl and that sinisterness that makes you think that more accurately, she must be a fallen angel sent to this world by the devil himself.
Matching your intense gaze, she simply says, “Come,” beckoning you to her side.
And you obey without a single objection, padding across the courtyard and placing yourself in the seat beside her obediently.
“I heard you were here painting Agnes today,” she brings up cordially.
Your eyes drop down and you notice her drinking something in her glass that oddly looks a little too dark and thick to be wine, that leaves a deep cherry stain on her lips that would otherwise be an unusual lipstick shade. You equally notice that despite her attempts at pleasant small talk, she doesn’t make any attempts to offer you a glass of whatever it is she’s drinking.
“I was,” you affirm. “I was….” hoping to see you, you trail off and keep to yourself, not wanting to seem desperate in her eyes despite how desperate for her attention you truly are.
She smiles to herself, seemingly hearing your confession all the same. She has a way of reading you without you saying a word.
“And how are you finding it so far?”
“It’s going as well as it can. Agnes is a wonderful subject,” you share, hiding the fact that the only woman you wanted to paint today was her.
A beat of silence passes, only the soft breeze of winter heard in the space you share.
“Have you ever sat for a portrait before?” you ask.
Shaking her head thoughtfully, she answers “No, never.”
“Why, might I ask? Your beauty is one I’m sure hundreds would flock to capture on canvas and stone.”
Inwardly, she smirks at your unrelenting boldness. “Yes… be that as it may, it’s not one I’m happy to share with the world for all to see,” she answers just as cryptically as everything else she’s told you thus far.
You suspect there’s a deeper and very real reason to it, but don’t question further. You’re happy to take as much as she gives you, as little as it is.
“Would you let me paint you one day?” you ask honestly.
Wistfully, she turns to glance up at the scattered stars in the clear sky, musing on your offer. “Perhaps,” she finally turns to look at you again, “if you’re a good girl.”
A fierce blush rushes to your cheeks as she gets up and caresses your chin with her gloved hand before leaning down and placing a fleeting kiss on the very cheek reddened by her teasing. As she saunters away from you, you watch her go and dazedly wonder if whatever she was drinking left its own stain on your skin.
Only when she walks past a statement mirror in the hallway are you pulled out of your trance. You can’t see her reflection, you remark.
Confused, you give it little thought before reasoning that it must be your tired eyes playing a trick on you.
—
Over the coming days, you return to Harkness Hall for your work with Agnes and continue seeking Wanda’s company.
Every time though, you only ever locate her after the sun’s gone down or alone in some secluded space like the library or tea room with the windows shut.
This time, you lose the fight and ask Agnes about her peculiar behaviour. She tells you that the Countess typically goes out at night and only returns in the early hours of the morning. Otherwise, during the day she either slumbers until the early afternoon or rests indoors.
Agnes doesn’t quite understand it either, but she’s neither questioning it nor complaining when it makes it a little easier for her to avoid the Lady. You thank her for her explanation (gossip), but it only piques your curiosity more and more, as does everything else you learn about Wanda.
Every time you do cross her path though, she always invites you to sit with her. Most of the time, she nurses a glass of the too-dark-and-too-thick wine. You never ask for a glass of your own or a taste and she never offers.
And every time, you find yourself entranced by her beauty for at least a minute or two or typically, much more. At times, you think she must be from another world, one so delicate and divine that man cannot and must not touch it lest it be corrupted. Other times you think her beauty is simply not human and must be a form of corruption of its own. But maybe that’s just the dramatic artist in you.
You’re saddened to say that after all this time though, you still don’t know much more about her, the mystery still largely unsolved. You know that she’s rich, she’s alone, and she’s the most beautiful woman you’ve ever laid your eyes on, which is essentially everything you already knew from the first night you met her.
She does occasionally share some stories with you though, of her life when she was younger in the foreign Slavic land you still haven’t identified. She tells you of growing up in a castle at the top of a mountain, of being bathed in the riches of love. “I’ve lost all the family I’ve ever known,” she confesses the next evening after you share stories of your own rough upbringing.
As always, she remains cryptically vague with every word she offers you, never giving you details and always leaving you wanting more.
Sometimes, she even reveals glimpses of her other facets like her interests and apparent appreciation for the theatre. “There’s a new musical on Broadway that I believe you’d enjoy,” she remarks offhandedly. Despite your attempts to suppress it, you feel a fluttering sensation within you at the prospect of seeing the Countess outside the walls of Harkness Hall, of even courting her if she allowed.
You’d like to think that you’re the only one honoured to hear these words from her, that you’re someone special to her as she is to you.
Other times when you come upon wherever she’s hiding and she doesn’t instantly detect you, you watch her quietly from the shadows, hiding away and observing her peaceful form. You fetch your pocket pad from the bag on your waist and roughly sketch her reading, birdwatching, embroidering or simply gazing at the night sky.
Then, you return home and paint her as accurately from memory as you can, attempting to capture her beauty with oil paints and canvas.
One day, you hope you’ll have a chance to show her how she’s become your muse and how you see her unlike anyone else.
—
Almost a week has passed since you started painting Agnes and you only know because you’ve been committing every encounter with the Lady Maximoff to memory.
Over the days, you’ve become comfortable and developed a routine of sorts for yourself. Around mid-morning, you arrive at Agnes’ manor and recommence work right away. Once noon comes, you have lunch with her in her expansive garden and enjoy tea with Wanda in the mid-afternoon if you can locate her, otherwise you greet her on your departure in the evening.
For the short while, you develop a new normal, which makes it all the weirder when a sense of unease overcomes the city and its inhabitants. From your own maids and coachmen to Agnes and the other elites you come across, everyone all of a sudden seems on edge. Almost like a blanket of doom and gloom has been laid over the city.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, it’s only Wanda who seems normal and unperturbed when you find her in her usual lounge chair in the courtyard under the moonlit sky. Once again, you obediently take the seat beside her.
Tonight, you can’t help but notice that she’s not nursing her favoured drink and if it were possible, she appears more pale than ever. You want to ask if she is well, but instead of overstepping, you decide to ask why everyone seems so off.
Pensively, she oddly smiles at your question and peer up at the sky. You follow her line of sight and see that the moon tonight is full and bright.
“Be careful, Miss Y/L/N,” is all she says as you turn to her again. There’s an unsettling look in her eye, like she knows something you don’t.
“You never know what’s hiding in the shadows, what creatures of the night lurk in the dark,” she warns ominously before turning to you and flashing a blinding smile. “One wouldn’t want something to happen to a pretty young thing like you.”
You gulp at her forbidding words and sudden predatory appearance, left only more confused and unnerved than ever. Flustered, you avert your gaze and miss the flash of crimson in her eyes.
—
The following evening, you’re half asleep in your carriage home when you abruptly realise you forgot a broken easel that you wanted to have fixed at Harkness Hall. Having requested your coachman retrieve it for you, you now patiently wait in your carriage in front of the estate.
Leaning your cheek on the window with a pout, you’re a little saddened since you didn’t see Wanda at all today, the first time it’s happened all week.
When you asked one of Agnes’ maids where the Lady was, she said she hadn’t seen Wanda all day either which meant she must’ve still been asleep since she didn’t hear her return until just before dawn. But then even on your way out a few moments ago, you still couldn’t find her in any of her usual hiding spots to your dismay.
Staring out solemnly at the Upper East Side streets, you notice that it’s a lot quieter than usual. This district is typically much busier, even at this late hour with the wealthy enjoying their night on the town.
However, it seems everyone is as on edge as they were the previous day. Most people have opted to stay inside with the windows shut, leaving the streets mostly empty barring a few passersby and dimly lit lamp posts. Even your coachman seemed a little less willing than usual to fulfil your request, as if he just wanted to rush the both of you home to safety. From what, you’re not too sure.
Sleepily, you lift your gaze and stare at the moon, slightly fuller and even brighter than it was the night before, having just reached the peak of its cycle.
You admire its alluring beauty for a brief second until something in the alley across the road from your carriage catches your eye; a lone man and woman hidden in the shadows. You think they must be one of the only people who don’t fear what everyone else does to be lingering in the darkness like this.
Intrigued, you study the pair when something strikes you. The woman throws her head back laughing and you catch a glimpse of her canines, so pearly and sharp you’re almost sure they look like fangs.
It’s only when you narrow your eyes and the woman leans forward out of the shadows into the light that you realise with a start, it’s Wanda.
—
When the sun rises and morning comes, you wake up safe in your bed but just as shaken.
With the calming of your heart, you reason that the events of the night before must have been a dream or even a hallucination of your tired mind. But you’ve been making the same excuse a lot lately and the image is etched so realistically in your memory it must be real.
In a daze, you ready yourself for the day and go to the dining room for the breakfast awaiting you. Perhaps some food in your stomach will wake you up from whatever this is, you think.
You’re distractedly munching on some berries when your handmaiden enters the room with a boiled kettle for your morning tea. It seems that the water isn’t the only thing bubbling this morning though.
“Miss! Have you heard the news?” she asks worriedly.
“I can’t say I have,” you answer, shaking your head. “What appears to have happened?”
“My, there’s been a murder! In an alley near Harkness Hall!”
Your blood instantly runs cold and you freeze like a bucket of cold water has been thrown on you.
“W-what?”
“A young man in his early 20s, foolish enough to stay out late on a full moon. They say his body was otherwise unmarked except for two puncture wounds in his neck. The sheriffs think it’s the Moonlit Killer again!” she frantically explains, every word striking your shaky bones.
“The Moonlit Killer?” you whisper to yourself in thought. “Who is that?”
“The city, no the state’s, very own serial killer, miss! No one knows who it is and they haven’t been caught yet, but for over a year now there have been murders across New York every full moon,” she tells you, the kettle completely forgotten as well as your breakfast which you know for certain you can no longer stomach with the tightening of your throat.
“The victims always match each other too, always young men taken in dark alleys and left with only two punctures in their necks.”
Like fangs…, you piece together.
It all makes sense now, why everyone was so on edge with the arrival of the full moon.
Quietly, you think back to what you witnessed last night. You’re sure it was Wanda. You would recognise her anywhere, in a crowded ballroom or even a… dark alleyway.
An image forms in your mind and you quickly race to your studio, ignoring the concerned calls of your handmaiden. You pull out a fresh canvas and your brushes and you paint and paint and paint.
You paint Wanda’s unusually pale ivory skin. You paint her red irises that you’ve seen on occasion. And lastly, you paint the sharp fangs you saw last night that lie where any other person’s canines would.
Once you’ve finished, you step back to take in your rough portrait and drop your brush in shock.
It can’t be…
You’ve only heard tales of them during your travels when instances similar to last night’s rocked the cities you visited. You’ve only seen frightening drawings of them in books that told farfetched legends of the undead.
Creatures of the night, skin as pale as the moon, pearly white fangs as sharp as blades, and most of all, eyes the colour of scarlet.
Everything suddenly makes sense now, pieces fall into place as the mystery is finally solved.
The glasses she’s always drinking of some liquid that looks too dark and thick to be wine must have been blood all this time and her main source of sustenance since you’ve never seen her eat a single crumb.
The way she oddly sleeps during the day and always shies away from sunlight, because if she didn’t she would quite literally be burned.
How you’re sure you’ve never seen her reflection in mirrors or water or windows because she doesn’t in fact have a soul to reflect.
Why no matter how much you asked around or researched about the elusive Countess, you could never obtain any information dating back earlier than over a year ago, precisely when the Moonlit Killer started taking their victims.
And how you’re certain that if you matched the homes of the other aristocrats she stayed with to the locations of the killings, it would all line up perfectly.
Countess Maximoff is… a vampire.
With the realisation, you’re filled with frightening clarity, both proudly smug at having unearthed her secret and slightly fearful at the true nature of the woman you’ve become enamoured of. Foolishly, you thought it was your eyes playing tricks or simple coincidences, but it’s too much to be.
For a second, you even think you must be going crazy to be entertaining this thought. Wanda… the beautiful, alluring, and bewitching woman… is a vampire. A monster? How could someone so enchanting be so horrific, though? So cruel…
But then you remember the old wives’ tales about sirens and succubi and creatures of sin that seduce and corrupt with their otherworldly beauty and frankly, now you’re only more sure of your discovery.
And that’s when it hits you… there’s only one way to test your theory.
—
That evening, you put your plan into motion. You haven’t much time. You figure in a few days she’ll announce her departure from Harkness Hall and return to her estate until she has to hunt for the next full moon, so why wait to confirm something you’re already so sure of.
In the dead of night, you pad through her designated wing and sneak into her bedchambers, awaiting her eventual return in the early morning. Earlier, you sent your carriage home with a feigned excuse and listened carefully to confirm that Agnes had retired for the evening.
Making yourself comfortable on Wanda’s loveseat, you patiently survey the door and await her arrival, alone in the dark room lit only by a few ruby candles and the bright moonlight.
In the Winter night, you feel the cool breeze on your exposed skin and shiver, pulling your coat tighter around you. Beneath it, you wear nothing but a lace blood red nightgown that leaves your neck bare in hopes of enticing her.
As expected, she’s absent for most of the evening, you assume too preoccupied with hunting her prey. Tonight, the moon is at the absolute peak of its cycle. Her lust for blood must be uncontrollable, but the thought only excites you more.
You almost fall asleep against your hand propped up on the armrest when finally, sometime between the second and third hour, you hear a shuffle outside the door that instantly wakes you.
Creaking, the door opens to reveal the Countess you’ve been waiting for, clad in a black hooded cloak and dark burgundy dress. Dark enough to conceal any bloodstains, you realise.
You suspect the city will awake to news of another victim at the hand of the Moonlit Killer, but that’s for whatever awaits you after the sun rises. Right now, you have your mystery standing in front of you, surprised to say the least to see you in her bedchambers and especially at this hour.
In the dimly lit room, you can barely see her if it weren’t for her skin that seemingly glows under the moonlight and the fleeting glint of red in her eyes that show themselves when she lifts off her hood and removes her cloak.
She’s as beautiful to you now as she was before you knew what kind of creature she really is. The thought leaves you as breathless as the sight of her. You think you would have fallen for her no matter who, or rather what, she is.
Fully facing your standing figure now, she smirks, knowing that there is something different about you tonight and this encounter. A sense of pride fills you at her sinister expression.
“Miss Y/L/N, what a surprise to find you here. Have you gotten lost in the middle of the night, sweet thing? Sleepwalked from the other side of the city, perchance?” she asks playfully. There’s a hint of something new in her tone, something a little demeaning. You can’t say you hate it. No… not at all.
“No, my lady. There is something I wish to discuss with you.”
She simply lifts an eyebrow in response, signalling you to continue while she hangs up her cloak and only offers you part of her attention. You almost want to beg to have all of it.
“I’ve been watching you,” you admit.
“I know you have. And what have you so skillfully unearthed, Miss Y/L/N?”
With a nervous gulp, you confess, “I know your secret, what you hide from the others.” Her ears seem to perk up with interest at your admission, but she’s still unsettlingly calm about the revelation.
“I know why you sleep during the day and what you do during the night. I know why you avoid sunlight at all costs and why no one seems to know anything about you. I know what you are.”
At last, she turns to you and gives you her full and complete attention. As much as you previously desired it, you quickly find yourself wilting under the weight of her stare.
Crossing the room in three strides, she stands face-to-face before you. “Oh? And pray tell, what exactly am I?” she teases and finally unveils the true scarlet hue of her eyes with a tilt of her head, equally as stunning as the green if not more bewitching.
It leaves you in a state of vulnerable immobility like prey trapped in the clutch of its predator and you pull at the sleeves of your coat in an attempt to regain your courage. Distantly, you wonder if perhaps there’s more to her species that the myths don’t yet know about, that perhaps she wields sinister abilities to influence the mind which would explain the eerie nature of Agnes’ facade.
“You’re… you’re a…”
Intimidatingly, she stalks to you in a few weightless steps almost like a bat. Delicately pulling her satin gloves off and haphazardly tossing them to the wooden floor, she reveals her long sharp nails, claws really.
Getting closer in your space now, she takes your chin between her thumb and index finger and tilts your head up to face her, the chilled skin of a soulless body sends shivers through your bones.
Menacingly, she grins, no leers, at you and detracts her fangs, glistening in the moonlight and bared for you to see. Up close, it strikes you with an immediate fear, but also something equally as exciting that leaves a tightening sensation deep in your belly.
“Say it,” she whispers, her cool breath against your lips and sending a chill down your spine.
With a gulp, you finally bring yourself to say out loud, “You’re a vampire.”
If it were somehow possible, her grin grows even wider and more sinister and you briefly think that she might just eat you alive.
“Good girl, I knew you were a smart one the second I laid my eyes on you.” The term of praise, as proud as you are to have received it, only intensifies that feeling in your belly and for the first time this evening, you question if you’re actually capable of surviving a night with the vampire Countess.
Patting your cheek with her other hand and cocking her head amusedly, Wanda continues. “Although, you were foolish enough to have come here alone and approached me like this.”
Maybe she’s right…
“No one would know if I killed you right here and now. No one would even hear you scream before I sank my teeth in your neck.”
Or maybe, that’s exactly what you want from her.
In a heartbeat, you instantly regain all your confidence. You know her secret and you came here for a reason. It’s time to claim what you’re owed, what you came to this city searching for.
Hastily, you untie your coat and drop it to the floor, revealing your barely clothed body to her stunned eyes. A rush of excitement goes through your veins at the sight of her dilated pupils, a telling sign that she just might desire you as much as you desire her.
Placing your own hands atop the ones she still rests on your face, you confess, “I want to be yours.” She lifts her eyebrow in curiosity at your proposition. “You don’t need to feed on other people, or hunt when you’re desperate anymore… You can just feed on me.”
For the first time ever, you hear her laugh, throwing her head back with her imposing fangs on full display. A deep and maniacal sound that’s degrading and humiliating as you stand there before her exposed and yet, you decide you’d do anything to hear it again.
It takes a second or two for her to regain her composure and you think you spot tears in her eyes, only further reddening your blushing cheeks.
“You know,” she says in between huffed laughter. “I typically only drink animal blood, as I’m sure you’ve seen on occasion. It’s a lot more… convenient and certainly a lot less messy. But the real reason,” she confesses, whispering almost secretively as her ruby coloured irises stare into your blown out pupils, “is that blood from a human source is dangerously addictive. That’s why I only feed on humans on days like this when the moon’s pull is too strong. Because everyone I drink from ends up dead and somehow, I just know that if I drank yours… well I’d be addicted for eternity.”
But what if that’s exactly what you want?
Blindly reaching towards a nearby table, you grab what feels like a glass and smash it against the surface, successfully slicing your left palm and sending drops of blood rolling down your skin.
In the same heartbeat, Wanda instantly freezes, her enhanced sense of smell immediately picking up the intoxicating scent of your blood. Tightly closing her eyes and letting go of her hold on you, she takes two steps back from you, seemingly struggling to restrain herself.
Fearlessly, you take two steps towards her, crowding her space just as she crowded yours.
“Let go,” you tempt, lifting your bleeding hand in an attempt to flood her senses and lure her further into your trap. “Let me be yours,” you whisper teasingly into her ear.
In a second, her eyes burst open, now blazing scarlet and burning into you. Roughly, she wraps her hand around your throat and pushes you against the nearest wall, uncaring of how you wince at the strength with which she slams you.
Just as harshly, she finally kisses you, her icy lips meeting yours and moving against each other as one as she almost devours you in her eagerness. And just as eagerly, you let her, drowning in the rush of losing yourself in something so wrong that feels so right.
The cautiousness with which she treated you before has completely disappeared as she dangerously tightens her grip around your throat, claiming your lips over and over again.
In her lust-clouded haste, her sharp fangs faintly slice your bottom lip and you quickly start bleeding with a wince that’s promptly muffled by her soft lips. Her greedy tongue licks it all up and you’re blessed with her deep moans at the rich and teasing taste.
To your dismay, she pulls away and releases her grip on your throat. But when you look in her bloodshot eyes, pupils blown and glittering in the moonlight, you’re thrilled to see a complete lack of resistance, a surrender to the offer you’ve presented.
And yet, there’s a hidden question in them, if you’re really willing to cross this line with her. In the back of your mind, you wonder that perhaps you're the first person who’s ever shared this secret of hers, who's ever willingly given themselves to her.
You hope to be the only.
Without saying a word, you simply crane your awaiting neck towards her, offering the expanse of it to her on a golden platter.
“I’m yours,” you whisper into the night for only her to hear.
In the blink of an eye, she becomes a predator before you. Still trapped between her body and the wall, you watch in equal amounts of fear and lust as she bares her fangs and sinks them into your naked neck.
You scream in pain and tightly scrunch a hand in her hair until, almost like you're hearing yourself outside of your body, you realise that your screams have become moans, the pain in your neck abruptly replaced by pleasure racing through your bloodstream.
“Mine,” you hear her snarl in between your moans and you only barely manage to yell, “Yours”, back.
Wanda is equally disarmed as she buries her face in your neck. She drinks and drinks and drinks, and as predicted, loses herself in you. It’s a criminal understatement to say that your blood is the best she’s ever tasted in her centuries-long life and endless list of victims. It’s rich and thick and if you hadn’t already offered to become her pet for eternity, she would have stolen you away anyway.
She revels even more in the sounds of your very evident pleasure, which when mixed with her instant addiction to your taste leaves a tight sensation in her core.
As she continues feasting on you, she slots a knee between your open legs and tightly grips your waist in her hands, harshly thrusting you down on her leg and surely leaving bruises in her wake. Eagerly, you grind against her firm thigh, head lolling back and hitting the wall with a resounding thud.
Somehow, your unabashed moans get even louder as you feel your blood starting to drip across your chest. Distantly, you consider that maybe you should quieten yourself lest someone hear of your tryst, but that thought swiftly disappears when Wanda presses her knee against your core while pushing you down to grind against it and deepening her fangs in your neck.
She’s everywhere. Pressed against you, piercing you with her teeth, becoming one with you. Suddenly, the overwhelming sensations become too much and you come undone in her arms, climaxing unexpectedly from the equally consuming mix of pleasure and pain.
In a lust- and blood-drunk daze, Wanda takes little notice of your state and attempts to keep drinking every ounce of the red liquid left in your body. She feels you start to loosen your hold on her hair and slacken against her thigh though, so she reluctantly stops lest she loses her pet as quickly as she got her.
Regrettably, she pulls away from you but you’re glad she keeps her knee between your legs because you immediately slump against her from an exhaustive combination of the severe blood loss and intense climax.
Surprisingly tenderly, she captures you in her arms and holds you up against her and the wall. You take a second to regain your breath as your heart races to pump more blood through your veins.
“That was…” you trail off, dazed and half struggling to hold on to consciousness.
“Delicious,” she finishes for you.
You eventually manage to open your eyes and watch her sadly remove a hand from your waist to wipe your blood from her mouth with the pad of her thumb, serving to only spread it across her face even more.
The sight is more arousing than it should be and as you stare at her, you discover that with her porcelain moonlit skin, scarlet coloured eyes, snow white fangs, and mouth covered in your dark blood, she’s the most beautiful creature you’ve ever seen.
In the haze of the afterglow, your gaze lowers to her bloody lips and you briefly wonder how you taste. Somehow reading your thoughts as she always does, she places a surprisingly soft kiss on your lips and you’re equally surprised by the taste of your blood on her lips. It’s different from what you expected, not as jarringly metallic as when you bite the inside of your cheek but rather smooth and rich like a well-aged wine.
As you deepen the kiss searching for more, she returns the eagerness by tracing the surface of your lips with her tongue, easily parting them and entering your mouth. Distracting you with the feel of your tongues swirling against each other, she sneakily reaches behind your back and unties the fragile bow tying your nightgown together.
Pulling away, she lets the sheer fabric fall in a heap to the floor and leaves you chasing her lips like a lovesick fool. You feel even more foolish when you look up and find her staring intensely at your entirely exposed body while she remains fully clothed, almost moving to wrap your arms around your bare chest in an attempt to hide yourself from her scrutiny.
Just as quickly though, she captures your wrists and traps them beside you against the wall. “Don’t hide from me. You’re mine now, pet,” she whispers in her criminally deep voice.
Not to mention her apparent assignment of a new title for you, a stark contrast from the formal way with which she has been regarding you until now. A fierce blush rises to your cheeks at her choice and when combined with the sound of her voice, you think you could come from the short sentence alone.
Softly and slowly with all the time in the world, or at least the few hours left before the sun awakes, she places delicate kisses across your shaking body. Her icy cold touch cools every inch of your burning skin that it contacts, along the curve of your jawline up to the space below your ear, down your neck and especially taking care to lick your puncture wounds clean before travelling across your chest and licking up any blood that previously escaped her.
Taking your left nipple in her awaiting mouth, she latches on and sucks greedily before switching to the right. You squirm and try to free your hands wanting to touch her, but her bruising grip around your wrists unrelenting keeps you trapped. If she notices you continue to painfully twist yourself in her grasp anyway in an attempt to amass more marks as proof of her ownership of you, she doesn’t utter a single word.
A second later, she withdraws from your body and sighs against your wet skin, which when coupled with her chilled touch and the cool winter night leaves you shuddering with goosebumps.
Stepping back from you entirely now, she reaches behind herself and undoes her own dress. When it falls to the floor, so does your jaw as you shamelessly stare at the pale expanse of her skin, almost completely unblemished and illuminated by the moonlight.
You carefully place your hands on the curves of her waist, hidden beneath her burgundy corset. For a brief moment, she lets you admire her body like an artist admires their muse before she gets impatient and turns around in your arms.
Pulling her hair to her front, she demands, “Won’t you lend me a hand, pet?”
Wordlessly and obediently, you unlace her corset while leaving delicate kisses behind her ear and along her neck. She buries her hand in your hair and you almost let out a moan from the way she tugs at it. Under your breath, you curse the corset for being so intricate as your shaking hands struggle against the detailed binds.
Luckily for you though, it finally becomes undone and drops to the floor with the rest of your clothes. With your hands returning to her waist again, now soft and bare, you turn her around to face you and almost collapse.
You’re not sure how it’s possible, but she continues to take your breath away. She’s more beautiful than anything you’ve ever seen in your lifelong travels. More than any of the marble Grecian sculptures or oil paintings of Aphrodite.
Just as she did, you take your time peppering kisses over her ivory and cool skin. You gently kiss every inch from right under her jawline to the dips of her collarbones and down along her chest to the mole of her left breast, from the curve of her shoulder down to the edge of her fingers and even lightly sucking your blood off her thumb.
Delicately, you devote yourself to kissing her perfect skin marked only by a few moles littered across her body, mapping them like constellations, and licking away any of your blood that stains the porcelain surface of her chin and neck.
Here and there, when you get to a particularly sensitive spot like the space under her jawline, she writhes in your arms and lets out a breathless gasp. You continue sucking on the same spot lightly, proudly drawing pleasure out of her as she did with you, but only lightly and not harsh enough to mark her flawless skin.
Internally, you think you could spend an eternity worshipping her body if she let you. You wouldn’t mind all the pain if you had the pleasure of being hers.
As you take your time exploring her body, her thin patience finally runs out and she roughly wraps your hair around her hand, pushing you down to exactly where she needs you.
“On your knees, pet,” she demands breathlessly and you instantly obey, falling to your knees with a thud and ignoring the bruising pain, proudly collecting more evidence of your tryst.
Diligently, you continue trailing your kisses down between the centre of her chest and her taut stomach until you reach her core, which you brazenly pass in favour of nibbling her inner thigh.
Roughly yanking your hair though, Wanda makes her annoyance known. “Oh, don’t be like that now, sweetheart. I thought it was clear who’s in charge here,” she bends down and sneers in your face.
“‘Mm sorry…” you frantically nod and apologise while keeping the enticing idea of disobeying and testing her patience in the back of your mind for another time. Right now, though, you desperately want to taste her.
Lifting her leg over your shoulder, she increases your accessibility or rather traps you and pushes your head back towards her centre.
“Be a good pet now won’t you, darling?”
You don’t need to be told twice, swiftly diving in between her thighs. You’re pleasantly delighted to feel how wet for you she already is, probably since the moment she sank her teeth in your neck.
Burying yourself against her core, you greedily part her folds with your tongue and lap up all her juices. Immediately drunk on her taste, you moan against her and the resounding vibrations apparently stimulate her even more as she whimpers above you and tightens her grip on your hair.
As you eagerly stroke your tongue against her pussy and brush your nose against her clit, you decide that between her legs must be the best place on Earth. And if anything, you so quickly become addicted to her sweet essence just as she was with your rich blood.
Almost crazed, you both want her everywhere and to be all over her, meticulously switching between placing kitty licks between her folds and latching onto her bulb.
Losing herself in you, Wanda somehow pushes the back of your head even deeper against her and bucks against your face. “Good girl… just like that,” she murmurs.
If your mouth wasn’t so preoccupied, you would’ve begged her to pull your hair harder.
Glancing up as you devour her, you realise that she truly is a fallen angel sent from the depths of hell to corrupt you. As you stare at her lust hazed eyes and domineering form stalked over you, you find yourself getting pleasure just from her pleasure alone.
You think that whether she suffocated you between her thighs or sucked out all your blood with her fangs in your neck, you’d be honoured to die by her hand.
With her moans getting louder and her body writhing above you, you catch on to her rapidly increasing need for more and raise your right hand to rub her clit with the pads of two fingers.
Catching her off guard, you swiftly thrust the same two fingers between her folds and earn a blissed out scream. You fit perfectly inside her as she clenches around you, sending a tightening sensation to your own core.
Latching onto her clit with your mouth again while your fingers slide in and out of her, you proudly smile against her at the tightening grip on your hair.
“Faster,” she manages to demand and you once again obey, pistoning your fingers in and out of her even faster and setting a ruthless rhythm. Soon after, your fingertips locate her g-spot so you curl the ends of your two fingers, hitting the spot with every thrust.
As you watch her, you notice that her hands are preoccupied with gripping the back of your head in pleasure and her bedpost in an attempt to stay standing.
With so much of her immaculate body shamefully left unattended, you reach your sliced hand back up her still cool body and cup her breast. As you massage the supple mound, the pain of the fresh cut stings your skin but you hear yourself whimper in time with her own moans.
You’re everywhere and the stimulation of your touch starts to make Wanda go crazy. Releasing her hold on your hair, she glides it down your back and scratches the skin below your shoulders with her claws in an attempt to pull you even closer.
Shuddering against her, you wince at the pain but proudly add the scratches to your long list of scars from tonight.
With her hand on your back, she feels you pathetically grind down against nothing and decides to take pity on you, placing her foot below your core. Finally getting some much needed friction, you rub yourself against her in a frenzy and practically ride her foot.
In a daze, she peers down at you and is entranced by the sight of you on your knees for her, looking up obediently at her with doe-like eyes, your face covered in her juices and skin covered in bite marks and hickeys she placed haphazardly, all while servicing her every demand and devoting yourself to her every need.
Unable to hold herself back anymore, she climaxes. Feeling her clench around your fingers and hearing her scream, you quickly follow and come against her foot. Bewitched, you see her arch her back in satisfaction and let her ride out her high against your face.
Once she calms down, you greedily lick up all her cum and clean up her centre just as you did with your blood on her skin. When your mission is complete and she pushes you away, overstimulated by your persistent touch, you stare into her eyes as you slide the same two fingers that were just inside her mere second ago into your own mouth, sucking them clean and taking care to not leave even a single drop.
If it were possible, her already blown out pupils dilate even more as she watches the show you put on for her. Pulling you up with a strength that’s probably owed to her inhumane cells, she tugs you into a kiss once again, tasting her essence on your tongue just as you did with your blood on hers.
Fitting your waist in her hands again, she hastily throws you on her bed before straddling your hips and pressing you against the mattress. She wastes no time and leans down to reclaim your lips, carelessly letting her fangs nick your lips again.
In the corner of your sleepy eyes, you see the glowing moonlight illuminate the stars in the night sky outside, the sun still a lifetime away. For this next little while, all that matters is the cool feel of her touch against your scorched skin and the pleasure of the pain she brings.
For under the full moon, you are completely and irrevocably hers; a vampire’s pet for better or worse.

Summary: Jennifer warning little!reader about Agatha, but Agatha rushing to console her baby.
Warnings: Age regression, angst, fluffy ending.
You were sitting on the couch while all the other witches were trying to figure out how to deal with the first trial. Agatha didn’t allow you to drink the wine because it was way too dangerous, and she knew that she couldn’t take seeing you poisoned or dead. She always wanted you safe, especially when you were regressed.
Since you entered the Witches Road, you were regressing almost nonstop from all the stress and fear of the unknown. Agatha tried to take care of you as much as she could and not let you out of her sight, but sometimes you were left on your own while she was trying to figure out things.
Right now you were way too busy playing with some plushies that you had found in that strange house to hear Jennifer approaching you. You only paid attention to her when she touched your shoulder gently, making you look up at her.
„That’s a nice teddy bear, darling.”
Jen said softly, and you smiled at her, not sensing anything weird in the conversation that she started. She was just being nice to you, right?
„Mhm.”
You nodded, fixing the ribbon on the bear's neck. You lost your toys while entering the road, so finding something that reminded you of your safe space was pretty comforting.
Jennifer sat down on the couch near you, and you could’ve bet that her facial expression turned more serious.
„I just wanted to warn you, little one. Be careful with Agatha, all right?”
You tilted your head to the side and looked at her confused. What would she have said that about someone who was so nice to you? Though her words sounded serious, you felt a little bit anxious.
„Wha’ would I be careful wit’, Mama?”
Jennifer smiled at your statement, trying to find the right words to say so she won’t scare you too much. She just wanted to warn you, that’s all.
Jen didn’t know how to be gentle with her words, though.
„Agatha made a couple of terrible things back then. And I just want you to be prepared for when she would decide to sacrifice you for her own advantage.”
Your eyes immediately teared up, but you tilted your head down, hiding your face from Jennifer, so she couldn’t see it. The woman got up from the couch and left you alone, getting back to dealing with the riddle while you were too busy thinking about what she had said. You held the teddy bear tighter, trying to calm yourself down.
Was it true?
Would your mommy sacrifice you if that would mean that she would get her powers back?
You didn’t know, but you felt guilty even thinking about it.
The thoughts haven’t disappeared from your head, though. In case to escape from them, you found an empty room and hide there. You were sitting there all alone, trying to figure out why Jennifer said that and was it actually true.
While you were lost in your thoughts, you hadn’t heard Agatha entering the room and sighing with relief when she saw you sitting in the corner.
„Darling, why would you scare me like that?"
You flinched when you heard the familiar voice. The urge to jump in her arms immediately was big, but you didn’t know if you could trust her right now. You pressed your knees into your chest, remaining silent.
Agatha rolled her eyes, taking your behavior for some game or just usual stubbornness. She approached you, crossing her arms on her chest.
“Okay, you got me, alright? Now c’mon, we have to get out of this place."
When there was no response from you once again, Agatha got suspicious. She frowned and crouched down in front of you, trying to figure out what the hell happened. Her eyes widened when she saw your puffy face and strings from tears on your cheeks.
„Bunny, did someone hurt you? Because if they did, I’ll…”
You didn’t let her finish, interrupting her with the shake of your head. Nobody had hurt you, but what if she was the one who might hurt you in the future?
„Jen said that you are bad, mommy.”
Agatha had to close her eyes for a second to regulate her emotions. She knew that Jennifer was practically right, but the woman was willing to change for you, no matter how many mistakes she had made in the past.
Who hasn’t made any mistakes through their whole life, especially when that life is 350 years long?
The witch reached her hand to you and carefully put it on your knee, caressing it lightly, waiting for you to say something else. But instead she heard your sniffles, and it was even worse than hearing you call her „bad”.
„She’s right, bunny. I made some mistakes, and I lost someone who meant a world to me, but I promise you that I won’t lose you too, okay?”
Agatha's words somehow calmed you down, and you leaned closer just to feel her hands wrapping around your body. After all, you believed your mommy, and you loved her even if she was a little dangerous sometimes.
You stopped crying a couple of minutes later, letting Agatha pick you up from the ground and hold you tight in her embrace.
„Would you like to go ahead and remind Jennifer that her cosmetic products are just as awful as mommy’s behavior sometimes?”
You giggled at her words and nodded, happily jumping off of her arms and rushing to help Agatha with her little revenge mission.

The adrenaline coursing through your body finally overrides your brain and forces you to move. You look down and watch one of your feet shift in front of the other, not behind. Your perspective expands as if you’re floating above your own body, a kite on a line watching yourself move ever closer to the woman who just killed your entire coven. You’re a woman possessed.
She watches you approach, you can barely make out the amused expression she wears at the desperation in your gait and the ragged breathing that you’re now able to observe objectively from this odd other state of consciousness. You would be embarrassed at the display if you weren’t so high on whatever it was you had just witnessed. On the look of desire in her eyes after it was done.
You distantly know better, know that you should be afraid of this woman. That you should be horrified at having just watched the only family you’ve ever known, no matter how cruel they may have been, expire before you.
But you’re not. Not even a little. Not even at all.
It’s not until you reach the other woman that your consciousness returns to its proper place behind your eyes rather than somewhere looming above both of your heads.
She continues to wear the same amused expression, but you’re able to see it more clearly now. Her arms are outstretched in a questioning gesture, asking “what now?”.
You could still run, or at least try. It’s unlikely that you would get far based on just how much raw vitality you know the witch now possesses.
Why does that almost excite you more? A thrill runs through you at the thought of making a break for the treeline just to see how long it is before you’re back in her arms. But you decide it’s best not to bank on that fantasy just yet.
Not when the thing you want most is a hair's breadth away.
Even she seems surprised as you launch yourself into her arms. You force her to support your weight as she had when you first encountered one another, which now feels like days ago though it has realistically been less than an hour. You didn’t know the extent of your need to feel her holding you again until now, as you land back into her waiting embrace.
As her arms encircle your waist she releases a satisfied sigh. You’re unsure what diverging choices she saw vying for dominance in your eyes, but you know in that moment that you made the right choice.
“You saved my life.” You stammer out, trying for the most synthesized explanation of what has just occurred. If it also acts as a justification in your mind for your longing for this deadly woman, that’s an added bonus.
Another sardonic chuckle escapes from her throat at that.
“Can’t say I hear that one often.” She admits, softening slightly at the terribly earnest look in your eyes.
“What’s your name?” You ask dumbly, partially interrupting the moment, but you need to know. Especially for what you want to do next.
She looks incredulous, mouth opening in faux offense at your lack of knowledge concerning the obviously famed witch before you.
“My name…” She begins, hands you briefly forgot held you now flexing around your waist and digging intently into your sides again, just as you’ve so badly wanted since they released you previously.
“is Agatha, dear.” She punctuates the name with two thumb nails that seek to brand either hip with half-moon indentations, even through your clothing.
Electing to ignore the increasing pressure, you flash your eyes up at her again. You know you’re putting on a bit of a show now but you get the sense this woman, Agatha, might appreciate that sort of thing.
“Well, Agatha.” You say, savoring every syllable to show her exactly how delicious the word tastes in your mouth.
“Thank you.” You continue, mustering as much sweetness into the phrase as you can, your lips practically dripping with honey.
Her head tilts slightly to one side, obviously trying to suss out whatever it is you’re driving at.
Whether it’s your own impatience or the desire to throw this woman off guard you’re not sure, but the next thing you know your own hand is snaking out from its space under Agatha’s steadfast grip to brush over her cheek.
You reach gently at first, relocating a stray strand of her brunette hair that had fallen into her line of vision at your enthusiastic arrival. Her blue eyes bore into you, but she appears curious, not stopping you. A good sign, you think.
You’re suddenly reminded of the image of the wolf that flashed through your mind moments ago upon seeing her from across the clearing. The way she looked standing triumphantly surrounded by her fallen marks.
Your pulse quickens incrementally at the reminder. The reminder of what you are in this equation. If she’s the wolf, that makes you…
The train of thought speeds from you as you continue to fall into pools of cerulean being quickly overtaken by expanding sinkholes. The dilation of her pupils seem to correspond with the closing window in which you’ll have any time to make a move of your own. Inky sand runs through the hourglass counting down the moments until you’re completely at the mercy of Agatha Harkness.
The small noise Agatha makes as your touch turns from a delicate brush to a heat seeking missile is victory enough.
Your hands card quickly through dark tendrils before you close the gap between the two of you, mouth crashing into hers in a rush.
You pull yourself further into her rather than pulling her to you. She is a distant planet swirling in purple storm and you, a meteor, finally surrendering to her gravity.
The sweltering heat of her mouth on yours puts the fervor of her gaze to shame. What remained of your mind melts in seconds, consumed entirely instead by Agatha, Agatha, Agatha. If she is all that exists in this moment, as you suspect she is, then the world is briefly a perfect place.
It’s no time at all before she takes complete control. You half-heartedly wave your momentary “upper hand’ goodbye that you readily acknowledge you will never have again when it comes to Agatha Harkness. If you ever truly had it at all.
Her hands squeeze your hips once only to climb your back with precision. Fingers tangle into your hair roughly, positioning your mouth just as she wants it to further her access to you. Your head lolls back easily at her prompting, jaw dropping to accept her tongue as it probes into your mouth covetously.
Her groan at your immediate acquiescence only spurs you on further, opening impossibly more to allow her to taste you as thoroughly as she can reach. She drinks deeply of your offering, retracting eventually only in favor of much required breath.
You instantly hollow your cheeks, sucking at her tongue greedily, letting out a weak whimper at the loss. One would think her saliva the nectar of the gods based on your craving reaction to it. You wouldn’t be surprised if it truly did grant you some life extending boon for all the newfound magic that you know is surging through the woman whose clutch you’re encased in.
Despite your disappointment at the kiss diminishing, you’re rewarded by the visage before you in the pale moonlight as your eyes flutter open once again. Eyes once clear as crystal are now endless voids of obsidian with how blown her pupils have become. You imagine yours look much the same, but to see evidence of the utter affect you’ve had on the incredibly powerful woman before you has you preening.
She looks impressed at you, still calculating as if she can’t quite decide where to categorize you in her brain, and something tells you she doesn’t feel that way often.
“You are clever, aren’t you?” She exhales finally. You can’t help but smile slightly at the fact that she probably didn’t mean to sound that breathless. You have no room to talk, however, as your mind is empty of all possible ways to reply as soon as you open your mouth to speak. You just grip tighter to her, inclining your head slightly in a silent request for more.
“What?” Agatha asks rhetorically, voice clearer now as she tightens her grip in your hair to keep you from reconnecting your mouths.
“Cat got your tongue?” She grins, flashing her own teeth.
It’s all you can do not to erupt with emotion, searching desperately for words that refuse to come.
You tilt your head forward instead, submitting to Agatha’s grip and resting your forehead to hers. The lusty sound of your breath roars into your own ears as you puff out the only word your mouth can find the shape of.
“Please.”
And it’s like you’ve found the perfect key for a stubborn lock. The secret code. Just what she wanted to hear.
A dam breaks as Agatha turns you in her arms, dragging you the short distance to the nearest tree large enough to support you. Your skull and spine impact against the bark in a less than elegant fashion but you barely take notice, too focused on the intent of the woman now pressing you to it.
She looks divine, you can almost see the power coursing through her veins. Feel the magic she’s just consumed thrumming beneath her skin and running to the tips of her fingers. You clench involuntarily at the idea of where those fingers may end up soon enough. Where you desperately want them to end up.
Her arms bracket your body and she lifts one of her knees, pressing it between your thighs which are still blanketed in cotton skirts. It does little yet to relieve the mounting need growing in your core, serving mostly to restrict any possibility of you moving out of her grasp. Your knees bend slightly at the position, which both forces you to lean to rely more fully on the sturdy oak trunk behind you and allows Agatha to crowd you completely. Her face now hovers at least six inches above your own with the incline.
All you see is her, blocking the view to the carnage you’ve already long stopped caring about. The torches still standing in the distance paired with the energy rolling off of her in waves forms a saintly image before you. You’re lowered to an altar, ready to receive whatever blessing the woman you’re in the presence of deems you worthy for, clad in her lavender-hued halo formed of the surrounding light.
Once you're pinned, Agatha adjusts slightly, running her left hand through the long, tangled darkness on her head, removing any obstructions between the two of you. You follow the action with your eyes, still unable to think about much other than those fingers buried in your wet heat. Purple threads dance between them almost imperceptibly and force your teeth to clench to stifle a groan at the prospect of what they must feel like.
Agatha must notice your fixation because her gaze follows yours before meeting your eyes with a slightly raised brow.
“You want to feel it, don’t you?” She asks conspiratorially, voicing the secret you’ve tried, albeit poorly, to keep. As she speaks, her fingers wiggle out at you playfully, more sparks bursting forward harmlessly but you feel them reflected low in your belly nonetheless.
You nod bashfully, screwing your eyes shut against the admission, knowing you have nowhere to hide in your compromised position.
“Unh-unh-uh.” Agatha admonishes, cheekily shaking her head.
“You’re going to look at me and you’re going to use your words.” She demands, mimicking her movement from earlier by stabbing beneath your chin with the points of her nails, forcing your face to level with hers. At the contact you can feel a slight vibration almost bordering on pain, like many tiny lightning strikes, the sparks arcing out to connect with your skin.
Your eyes burst open, both due to the new physical intensity as well as not wanting to find out what happens should you not follow Agatha’s instructions.
“Yes.” You breath laborly, using every ounce of willpower at your disposal to hold her blistering eye contact.
“Yes, what, pet?” She urges, not allowing you an inch.
“Yes. I want to feel your magic… inside me.” You whimper out, realizing you aren’t exactly sure how to even voice what it is you’re asking for.
“Where? Here?” She questions playfully, fingers maneuvering from beneath your chin to climb up your face. The mouthwatering buzzing of her fingers leaves a potent trail of tingles in their wake.
Though it’s not exactly what you want, and her eyes tell you she knows that, you can’t help but reflexively let your mouth open gently as her fingers dance at your lips.
In one swift motion, two long digits slide along your tongue until they reach your throat. If this and her previous kiss are any metric to go by, you’re learning Agatha Harkness does not deal in half measures.
In the moisture of your mouth the thrumming is amplified. Your senses are overtaken by the electric current forcing its way further and further into you and you can’t help but close your eyes against the never-before-felt rapture. You feel it move down your throat and branch into your every cell, nerves alighting as you can’t tell if your lightheadedness is from the sudden blocking of your airway or this miniscule but steady stream of magic being pumped into you.
You garble sounds of pleasure around her fingers, bobbing your head to try to get them even further down your throat despite the fact that you’re already unable to get a full breath.
She marvels at you and you peak your eyes open to see the twitch of her eyebrow as she is clearly in deep concentration to maintain the perfect level of harshness for your exquisite torture.
With one more measured burst of force you think you might unravel right there, untouched where you need to be most, but the seeking fingers instead regrettably withdraw. The only saving grace being the ragged breath you’re able to siphon into your lunges once they’re gone.
“I want-” You erupt, voice breaking hoarsely around the words as you try to get them out as quickly as possible.
Your head tilts back up to meet Agatha’s eyes challengingly and with undeniable licentious need. Heat rises to your face at the anticipation of your own next words, the blaze pricks moisture at your eyes but you compel yourself to maintain steadfast.
“I want to feel your magic inside my cunt.” Biting out the last word does little to stop a desperate cry from following it.
When Agatha doesn’t immediately move, you curse yourself, racking your brain for how to amend your mistake. You’ve asked for too much, been too forward, not given her what she wants.
She leans impossibly closer into your space and you realize she’s looking expectantly to you. Smiling in a knowing sort of way, like a teacher urging on a student who’s on the brink of breakthrough.
You look at her pleadingly, you start drowning at the prospect of saying the wrong thing and ruining whatever it is that’s happening now. It’s a sick combination of all the times various witches have tried to teach you to harness your powers. You brace for the familiar disappointed sigh at your inability to understand.
But then you remember the key. The way you’d found yourself here to begin with. She is waiting for it again.
“Please!” You almost scream and her smile breaks to a dirty laugh that tetters on the edge of a moan at the painful urgency in your voice.
“You could’ve just said so.” She quips unhelpfully as she jumps back into action, clearly pleased at how quick of a study you’re proving to be.
Another gasp quickly follows, this one prompted by the cold air that breaks against your bare legs as she hoists the end of your skirt and petticoat to bunch up beneath your bodice in a fluid movement. A seemingly practiced one, you notice, which burns a small seed of both jealousy and admiration through you in equal measure.
The chill causes you to curl even further into Agatha in a way you think she probably intended. Your right leg, no longer restrained by fabric, wraps around her hip to pull her closer to you, both in desire and a seeking of warmth. Agatha’s left hand comes down from where it’s hovered around your mouth to support your leg that now draws her in. Your own saliva smearing along the flesh of your thigh coupled with nails that graze slowly up and down cause even more goosebumps to raise across the skin there.
You let out a shaky breath at the movements as her head drops to your neck. You can feel her smiling against you at your thinly veiled need before smoldering open mouth kisses imbue you with renewed hotness.
You allow yourself to breathe even heavier with her ear practically against your mouth, making sure she hears just how affected you are. If it wasn’t already obvious.
She leans her torso back slightly, supporting you more with her hip now as her right hand, which was previously holding her weight against the tree above your head, moves down to hold the back of your neck possessively. Her mouth trails down to your collarbone then licks a blazing line over the curve of one breast before giving equal attention to the other.
You lose track of which way is up as the dizzying sensations wash over you. It’s not until you feel long searching fingers slide against the wetness at your inner thigh that you are able to zero in on her precise ministrations.
“Even more eager than I expected.” Agatha admires, pulling her hand away from your heat to get a better view on the new slickness that now coats the index and middle finger of her left hand. The hand on the back of your neck moves encouragingly for you to look down at the evidence she displays and you moan knowing you’re the reason for the shine that now coats the long, power-filled fingers in front of you.
You are dripping for the woman so much that she was able to collect your arousal several inches away from where you need her most.
“You’re so ready for me.” She says quickly with a husking delighted tone as her hand moves back down in a flash, her other working in tandem to yank your eyes up to meet hers.
You’re unable to get another word in edgewise before the same two perfect fingers that were just in your mouth are sheathed within you to the last knuckle.
The moan that rips from you at the shock takes both of you by surprise and that flush that still hasn’t left your face spreads down and across your entire chest in an instant. Your toes curl involuntarily and you feel so full, part of you thinks it may be only these two fingers that now hold you upright. Without them, you might as well be a boneless pile on the forest floor.
Agatha almost mirrors your face, eyebrows knitting together in a sort of sympathetic mock surprise. Her eyes go wide as yours do, intent on soaking in every microexpression as you adjust to the feeling of her inside of you.
You watch as her bottom lip catches between her teeth, a look of mischief and anticipation before she starts to move against you. Another broken moan, though more controlled this time, escapes your lips as her fingers pull out almost to the tips before driving back in again. You try to drop your head to her shoulder, already ragged from the first thrust, but her other hand tightens further into the hairs at the nape of your neck, keeping you looking at her.
“I want to see you when you come undone for me.” She breathes, nodding encouragingly.
You nod back, only feeling able to parrot her sentiment, no coherent thoughts of your own forming. That is until she gets that unyielding look in her eyes that you’ve grown to now recognize in your short time together.
“Yes, please.” You squeeze out, clenching around her fingers at your own words coupled by her thrilled reaction to them.
With your eyes now fully locked on hers, she starts fucking you in earnest. She’s rocking into you in powerful but measured thrusts. All the while, blue eyes search yours hungrily.
The image of Agatha absorbing the magic of the others flashes back through your mind again. The thought of her still wanting more drives a spike of hunger through your own stomach. Whatever it is she wants, you want to give it to her.
You want to sate her.
Your breath comes in huffs. Hands that rested against her waist to steady yourself now hold on for dear life, your fingers clambering perilously into the fabric of her dress.
It isn’t until you’ve adjusted to the rhythm that she’s set, moans falling from your mouth incrementally, that you see that focused look flash across her eyes again. The one you saw as she poured voltaic rhapsodies down your throat.
Rather than bracing for whatever it is to come next, you relax into her touch as you feel her start to pull out of you before curling her fingers hard into your walls.
Her hand shifts below you to allow her thumb to rest against your aching clit, which has gone neglected until now. The steadily climbing pleasure starts to coil within you more fully now and you think it can’t get better than this.
And then, the shocks return.
The outpouring of sweet, stinging purple surges into you even more intensely than before. If you were able to move from the vice grip of Agatha’s other hand keeping you fiercely focused on her, you wager you would be able to see the purple glow of power shining from beneath the bunched bundle of your skirts as the potency of what she’s streaming into you reaches a fever pitch.
Your moans swiftly turn to mewling as she hits that spot inside you over and over again in quick succession, the lances of her magic climbing further and further up your body with each one. You pull and scratch agonizingly at her back and waist and shoulders and anywhere you can reach.
Her pace is unrelenting, curling harder and harder with every thrust to match the power of the mounting raw energy. Her face breaks into further delight the more yours contorts with ecstasy. She even releases a low chuckle at one point, followed by a groan that she punctuated with a few quickened pumps into you for good measure.
You know you can’t hold out much longer, the pleasure is racing forward like a tidal wave and it’s threatening to break over you at any second. One part of you believes that the spellcraft she is pushing into you is making you stronger with each burst behind your eyes and the other anticipated its apex may atomize you on the spot. At this point either option feels worth the pure bliss you’re experiencing.
“I- I’m gonna-” You force out, brokenly. But you know what it is you have to say.
Agatha nods at your admission, egging you on, pure elation on her face. She knows that you know what she wants and it excites her all the more.
A torrent of begging tears from your throat in an instant, an endless string of “please” that you can’t stop even if you try.
“Please, please, please Agatha, please!” You chant even as she quickens her pace, satisfied by your invocations. You think you hear a crackling of electricity within and around you at Agatha’s final push of magic through your system and it breaks you.
Your orgasm crashes into and out of you in equal measure, the ambient purple light flares in your eyes and consumes the world around you in an amethyst fog. You’re unsure if it truly is the world around you exploding with color or if you yourself are glowing brightly from within, the purplish tone of Agatha’s magic that still courses through your veins looking for somewhere to ground itself.
The bliss that envelopes you is unlike anything you’ve ever felt, the euphoric sparks arc over your scalp, flaring where Agatha still holds you at your neck and it continues all the way down to the tips of your toes. You distantly hear yourself exhale, feeling contentedly very far away from your own body for a moment.
Eventually, the blanket of purple starts to diminish and as you regain your senses you start to hear someone faintly whimpering. What might be mumbled words that you can’t quite make out mix with the whining sounds as you try to dial into what it is. You blink a few times, eyes focusing once again on the woman in front of you.
You realize then that it’s you still repeating the mantra of pleas. The fingers that were curled against the skin of your neck now comfortingly stroke through your hair, tucking strands that have been shaken loose behind one ear.
Agatha cooes softly, eyes once that of a starved animal now search your face with some small amount of concern and tenderness. Your voice dies out slowly as you return to your body and gain more control over your faculties, wondering humorously if you actually just briefly lost consciousness due to the amount of pleasure you experienced.
The woman that’s holding you sighs quietly in relief as you finally meet her eyes lucidly. A soft wince leaves your throat as she gently lowers your leg, that has made a vice around her hip, to the ground. Even in your semi aware state you still catch the way her grip tightens and slows your limbs descent to ensure it causes you the least amount of pain possible. At Agatha’s prompting with her own fingers, you flex your fingers and toes, attempting to regain full sensation in your extremities.
You’re unsure when she removed herself from you but you do note the emptiness you now feel without her, even in your blissful state.
Agatha then helps you find your footing, mumbling gently about making sure you’re able to balance, but still giving you a silent moment to process. It’s so unexpectedly sweet, you think, the way she’s doting over you given the preceding events of this night.
Once you’re standing on your own two feet again, you slide one hand from her back to rest against her chest, just above her heart. You realize you’ve yet to meet her eyes with more than a glance since your brief ascension from this mortal plane, partially self conscious about what you might find in them, no matter how silly that sounds on the heels of her taking you apart the way she just did.
As you steady your breathing and finally raise your eyes to meet hers you see her already staring. In a word, she looks fascinated. That curl of her lip is back that tells you whatever categorization she was working on earlier has still come up uncertain, even having just seen you in what is probably the most vulnerable state anyone ever has.
It’s almost funny, everything that has happened in the last hour combining in your mind, and in this pleasure-drunk condition you’ve found yourself in, “almost funny” means you can’t help but let loose the laugh that begins bubbling out of you.
You throw your head back in a fit of giggles that only proves to further confuse the witch before you.
“What is it?” She inquires, her voice husking in a way you haven’t heard before as both eyebrows raise in a further confused expression that only makes you laugh harder… and also makes you want to kiss her.
So, you do.
Because you want to, and your brain is probably slightly oxygen deprived, and you can’t find a good reason not to. Not that you spend much time looking for one.
You lean forward, cutting off your own laugh by capturing her lips between yours. Your teeth bite playfully into her bottom lip in a somewhat sloppy, but undeniably joyful way, and elation washes over you at the return of the messy brushing of lips.
The two of you stay that way for a while, kiss deepening languidly between soft laughter that Agatha now joins you in, though slight puzzlement is still evident in her tone. Eventually, you part, your hands having found a home on either side of the witch’s face.
As you pull away, you’re unsure what you’re expecting, but what looks back at you is a more simmering version of that darkness that had briefly cleared from her eyes. That ravenous manner flickers back into view, not threatening but undeniably there. The coallike dilation portends to snuff out any remnants of crystalline irises as she takes a labored breath, glancing down to your lips once more before meeting your anticipating stare.
You were wrong before, you think, when you thought you wanted to sate this hunger. You know in this moment that all you want to do is feed it, slowly.
Ensuring it will keep on chasing you forever.

Can I request jealous Agatha x fem reader? Reader and reader’s friend aren’t doing nothing even remotely romantic, Agatha is just over analyzing everything they do together and driving themselves crazy over it
Thank you so much for this request!!! I really hope you enjoy the way I wrote it <3
Staying In
Agatha Harkness x Reader
summary: when you insist on going out with a friend who is clearly into you, Agatha takes matters into her own hands
tags: red flags with hints of mutual obsession, Mistress Agatha, sub Reader, jealous Agatha, magic bondage, light impact play, overstimulation, fingering
authors note: suspend your disbelief for not having a crush on Darcy. I’ve had to as well 😔

You’ve decided that Agatha is being silly. Mainly because her being insecure feels impossible. You aren’t into Darcy. You have never been into Darcy. It’s never even crossed your mind. Something Agatha is well aware of and yet she insists that something is there. At least on Darcy’s end. Which you highly doubt since she would have said something during the decade you’ve known her.
“It doesn’t matter,” you finally snap at her. “Despite what you may believe Agatha, I am my own person. I’m going to go to a nice restaurant with my nice friend and have a nice, platonic night with her.”
Agatha’s face goes blank in a way that makes you nervous. It turning into a slow smirk has you shifting on your feet. Agatha is rarely wrong. It’s a fact that you usually enjoy. Right now it’s too hard to think of your best friend seeing things differently to accept it. Plus, the fact that you have zero interest in Darcy and Agatha has made her claim very clear should defuse things. And yet.
“It’s not what you think, Agatha,” you insist.
“Of course, dear,” she says with that same deadly look and you swallow harshly.
You have to look away otherwise that traitorous warmth inside you is going to take over your rational brain. It’s not fair that she still has such a strong effect on you when you’re frustrated with her.
“I think I’ll retire to my lab for the night,” she says, already turning. You enjoy your nice night.”
You fight the urge to follow her and instead watch her go quietly. That had been a little too easy, especially with your earlier claim. You’re both well aware of how deeply Agatha owns you.
You only debate with yourself for a moment before moving to get ready. Your and Darcy’s schedules haven’t lined up enough for a proper meal for weeks. You’re both busy enough it’s likely to take even longer for them to line up again. You can survive one night of Agatha’s wrath.
—————-
Every other item you try to use disappears. It starts out subtle. Some things not being where you thought you left them, others being in odd but not impossible spots. It escalates until your perfume disappears right out of your hand.
“Agatha!” you finally shout in frustration.
Of course, you don’t get an answer. She’s three floors away. Not that it stops her from watching you but she so does love plausible deniability.
You’re about to rummage through her own drawers (more to make a mess than anything) when her personal perfume bottle appears in a little puff of purple smoke right in front of you. You huff a laugh. Of course.
You don’t try and refuse it. Or deny how much you want it. Every bit of Agatha entices you. Her scent is no different. Even if the perfume doesn’t quite contain every hint of her, it’s enough of a reward for her to use it against you often.
It’s hard to concentrate with her scent surrounding you but it’s something you have to contend with every time you’re around her. You have enough practice to still complete your goal, just not without thinking about her every time you take a breath.
Since Agatha has yet to bind you to the bed, you believe you’re consequence free, at least until you return home. Then you reach the door. The handle turns but the door doesn’t open. You try to flick the lock but it doesn’t move. Frowning, you try to tug it free but it’s too small to get a good grip. It jiggles a little but remains stuck. It’s weird and annoying but nothing Agatha can’t fix. Later. It’s not the best idea to go down to her lair while you still want to leave.
A thought crosses your mind but you don’t genuinely believe it until the back door does the same thing. She really has locked you in. You prefer it when she throws you into bed and traps you there. Huffing, you wonder if it would be too crazy to go out the window. It feels too crazy, and a bit silly. You aren’t a teenager anymore and this is technically also your house.
Instead of creeping out of a window, you creep down the stairs to her basement. While the house may equally be yours, Agatha’s lair is entirely her own. It’s a dangerous place for anyone that isn’t Agatha.
She’s standing at one of her benches, going between a book and some vaguely-witchy item in her hand. You risk a few steps inside.
“You locked the door.”
“Did I?” Agatha asks neutrally, not bothering to look up from what she is working on.
“I could be wrong,” you shrug casually. “If I am then you’ll have no problem forcing it open.”
“I’m very busy, dear.”
“It’s very convenient for both doors to be stuck on the night you don’t want me to go out.”
Agatha finally turns around. “Careful,” she says in a low voice.
You swallow hard. It’s not a smart idea to push her but you’re annoyed enough to do it anyway.
“I guess I’ll just go out the window,” you jut your chin out.
Her eyes darken but she doesn’t move. You know she’s waiting to see if you actually try or if you’re bluffing. It pisses you off enough to turn around. You get two steps before your arms are jerked behind your back and purple lifts you off the ground.
“Agatha!” you yell more in surprise than anything else.
“I did say to be careful.” She tilts her wrist and you fly towards her. “Look at you, all dressed up for her.”
“I’m not,” you snap.
What you’re wearing is nicer than usual but it’s hardly your dressiest outfit. You’re going to a higher end restaurant than the usual casual lunches you do with Darcy.
Agatha flicks her wrist and you whimper at the pain that lashes across your thigh. Sharp enough it’s like you aren’t wearing clothes at all.
“Agatha,” you half-whine, not wanting to admit just how turned on you are.
She flicks her wrist again and you squirm in the air.
“Tell me to stop,” she says as she slowly circles you. “Tell me to stop, and mean it, and I’ll send you on your pretty little way.”
You hate when she does this. You can never refuse her attention. It’s all you think about.
Pain lances again when you don’t answer quickly enough. You debate purposely staying quiet longer to feel it again but you doubt this will be the last of your punishment for tonight.
“Stop,” your voice wavers.
Agatha strikes you again and you can feel yourself begin to drip down your thigh.
“Try again.”
“I want you to stop,” your voice comes out a little firmer this time and Agatha raises an eyebrow.
“I almost believe you,” she says, which you highly doubt. “Unfortunately, you’ve always been a terrible liar.”
“I- I want to go to dinner,” you try instead because you both know you don’t truly want Agatha to stop.
“Maybe. But you want me to fuck you more.”
You swallow harshly. There’s no denying that. “You won’t though,” you say quietly.
“Aw, is that what has my pet all upset? She thinks I won’t fuck her silly since she’s been so naughty?”
“Think?” you ask hopefully and Agatha smirks.
“Why, of course. I want my girl to stay, don’t I? Denying her isn’t going to that.”
It sounds like a trap. It feels like a trap. Agatha’s face is telling you that it is a trap and yet, that heat within you rises. With the way your games usually go, she’s probably going to fuck you. There’ll be some sort of catch, especially after you’ve denied her so much. But just the idea of her touching you when you were so certain she wouldn’t has you giving in.
“I -” you lick your dry lips. “I do want you to fuck me more.”
“Well, now you’re just stating facts,” Agatha flicks her wrist and your clothes disappear. “I suppose it’s better than lying.”
Anticipation surges through you as her eyes run over you. They snag on the red welts caused by her earlier lashes before they stray to the wetness soaking your thighs.
“Oh, you poor thing,” she coos and steps closer. “No wonder you’ve been acting out You’re too desperate to think properly.”
You don’t even contemplate protesting with her hands on you. When she looks up at you for a response you nod eagerly. Her amusement doesn’t settle the voice saying there’s a catch somewhere but her touch soothes any growing anxieties.
“I can certainly help with that,” she says and trails her fingers over the red marks as she makes her way towards your soaked core.
Her fingers lightly run through your soaked lips and you shiver. Agatha has been so annoyed about Darcy that she hasn’t touched you like this in days. You hadn’t realised how much the lack was affecting you.
“There we go,” she murmurs as she runs her fingers over your clit, making you gasp. She circles there for a moment before moving down and smoothly entering you with two fingers. “Empty that pretty little head of yours.”
Nodding, you try to spread your legs further apart but Agatha’s magic keeps you still. You wish she would let you down. Let you touch her. But it’s a miracle she’s touching you at all so you don’t risk asking.
Agatha’s pace remains slow until you’re whining with need. She’s so mean, only giving your clit a quick swipe every now and then until you’re begging incoherently.
“Are you going to behave for me now?” she finally asks with a raised eyebrow. Long past words, you nod desperately. Anything, you’d do anything for her. “Good girl,” she says gutturally and you fly over the edge.
She speeds up for the first time and you writhe in pleasure as the orgasm flows over you, the slow build to it having heightened the intensity. She doesn’t slow, even as you come back down.
“Mistress?” you gasp in confusion when she doesn’t stop.
“Don’t worry. I’m just making sure no silly thoughts linger in my pet’s head.”
You don’t protest or plead. You don’t want her hands to leave yet. It’s been too long without them. A second orgasm won’t hurt. Especially when she pays so much more attention to your clit.
As she makes firm circles around your clit, you wish once again that you could touch her. You want to feel her warmth against you and use your teeth to encourage her to fuck you faster and pull her hair when she doesn’t. Instead, you’re stuck whining in the air as she has her way with you.
Her fingers curl and hit that special spot inside of you. Your head drops forward as you moan. She does it again as she makes firmer circles around your clit and you’re coming before you even realise how close you are.
Finally, finally she lets you touch her. Her magic lowers you down and wraps your arms around her. You cling tight and whimper when her fingers curl again.
“One more,” she murmurs soothingly.
You meant to speak but what comes out is a low whine that’s quickly taken over by a moan.
This one is slow and soft. You’re sensitive enough that Agatha’s slow pace builds you up easily. You whine into her shoulder as the overwhelming feeling of coming a third time floods you.
You tend and shudder in her grasp before going entirely limp.
“There we go. You know where you belong, don’t you?” she asks.
She cradles you like you’re something precious. You nod weakly, holding onto her. There was never a question of who you belong to but you don’t mind reminding Agatha. Or, well, Agatha reminding herself.
“You mistress,” you manage to say.
“Good girl,” she says and kisses the side of your head.
You shiver again.
“So mean,” you mutter light heartedly.
Agatha gives you an amused look.
“Three was getting off lightly and you know it.”
You snort at the pun.
“Can we go lay down?” you ask after a moment. “I’ve missed you.”
The dizzying sensation of teleporting envelopes you a second later.

Agatha All Along deep dive: episode 9 part 1
(Wandavision entries: [1][2][3])
(AAA entries: ep1 [1][2][3][4] ep2 [1][2][3][4] ep3 [1][2][3] ep4 [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][+1] ep5 [1][2][3][4][5] ep6 [1][2][3] ep7 [1][2][3][4][5][6] ep8 [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9] ep9 [1][2][3][4][5][6])
wow this is another difficult one to go through. okay. okay.
it's been 57 years since we saw agatha kill her mother and the salemites - agatha should now be around 74, 75. how many of those years has she spent with rio? even if they met right away, that is a comparatively short time considering their long lives (rio's especially) and the almost 300 years they stayed separated afterwards.
the first thing we notice about the scene: just how damn green it is.
the forest and the river - rio, nature, is everywhere.
we're not told why agatha is running, but the obvious answer is that she is running from rio. she's in her shift, she was probably in their bed in the little cabin in the woods going through labor. and then rio told her that nicky was going to be stillborn and, in typical agatha fashion, she bolted, she tried to buy time, to bargain, to outrun the inevitable. but nature is all around, engulfing her. trying to escape is futile.
I so appreciate how bloody this scene is but I can't watch it, it's too much. she's run as far as she could, but the baby is coming now. she bites on a lemon and pushes. no family, no coven, no midwife. the one person in her corner, rio, has betrayed her.
that shot of rio so small between the trees, and yet the same exact color as the leaves? both one tiny person and the very essence of nature everywhere? I've got chills.
rio has brought her orchid so you know how serious the situation is. and I believe the costume department called this a shepherdess outfit? she chose this gentle look to guide nicky's little innocent soul to the other side.
you need to look at plaza's acting closely in this scene because while agatha's pain is on full display, raw and open, rio is keeping her pain close to her chest, she has no other choice. she swallows, she shakes her head ever so slightly. agatha is shaking her head too, completely and utterly devastated.
Rio walks closer, strong determined steps that don't match how difficult she's finding it to speak. her face contracts with pain before she smooths it back in a neutral expression. she shrugs a little, so small and apologetic. remember how formidable she was with alice, how clear she made it look that there was no escape? she can't quite bring herself to do that here.
you know by now what it means when agatha clutches her chest like that. you've seen her poor heart.
she licks her lips, she straighten up, vicious, ready to go into battle, ready to bite and hurt and beg and do everything, everything in her power to save nicky. we get this scene at the very end, when we know agatha and rio and their dynamic so intimately, and it's so easy to read what's happening. agatha will never go down with dignity, she'll fight till her last breath.
rio gives the tiniest of nods, she takes a deep breath. she knows agatha so well, she didn't expect anything less. while agatha is all over the place, rio is so still. her eyes are huge, and there's one stubborn tear that she's not allowing to fall. this has always been their dynamic - agatha's pain is too overwhelming, it engulfs all, there's no containing it. rio has to be strong and wise for the two of them.
this is rio losing her wife and child in one tragic swoop. this is rio being cast as the villain that took nicky's life.
this is futile. we can't fight Death.
oh, but she will try. she's been trying since we've known her. since she killed that poor dog to see if wanda could do something about it.
Death makes her decision.
not only does the grim reaper refuses to reap a soul. for the first time in all of history, she actively uses her magic to stop someone from dying. it goes against everything she stands for, and it's ultimately useless, because not even the power of the greatest Green Witch can heal nicky, she can only delay the inevitable. but she does it anyway, because she loves agatha too much. even if she knows perfectly well that she's just lost her forever.
rio is apparently impassible, but look closer: her nostrils are flaring, her jaw is trembling. if rio can't kill, by logic she can't generate life either. not that she's not able to - she's not allowed to, because she needs to be impartial. because if she lets herself fall in love with someone, it might just happen that their child will be stillborn in 18th century nowhere, massachusetts and Death might not be able to be selfless and impartial about it.
and then bye bye, sacred balance.
who the fuck came up with this story? and made it about lesbians, too? was it you, jac? I don't know if I want to kiss you or scream at you.
agatha doesn't recognize the world-shattering decision, the unprecedented sacrifice rio has just made for her. she can only think about nicky. how much time has she won? a day? a month? ten years? not knowing is torture.
and look, this is agatha, selfish to her very core. but can you blame her? can you feel anything but infinite pity and understanding for her at this moment? who is even to blame here? agatha, a mother begging for her child's life? rio going against every law and everything she believes in to give her beloveds one fleeting moment of reprieve?
there is no one to blame, not even nature - it has no concept of tragedy. (now that I think about it, agatha is the only person in history who could ever made nature feel.)
you did it, agatha, you made Death go away. you made your choice. it's you and nicky now.
oh god, kathryn, don't make that face. it's too much.
I spoke no spell, I said no incantation, you were made from scratch. the utter beauty that is agatha, the witch killer, the master of spells and craft, creating a baby (almost) the old fashioned way - the magic of life that no spell could ever improve.
this is agatha claiming nicky as hers. not rio's, only hers. she sought to have him for arguably selfish but deeply human reasons: because she needed to prove her mother wrong. because she wanted someone who would love her unquestioningly, unconditionally. because she was so, so lonely, and rio alone couldn't fill the chasm in her heart. she wanted her coven to grow from two to three, but looks like it's coven two again: her whole happiness is once again tied to only one person.
the little feetsies!
this shot, dear lord. green leaves and water taking over.
this entry was a lot. I need a hug.

Four times Agatha fails at cockwarming (and one time she doesn't)
The first attempt
Based on this ask that has made me completely feral and taken over my brain in the best way
Word count: 4.1k
Warnings: premature ejaculation, teasing, g!p Agatha, mommy kink, bratty reader, desperate!agatha, super slight temperature play
When you wake up on Saturday morning a bit later than you usually do, you roll over and reach out your fingers, seeking the warmth of your wife’s body. All you find is an empty half of the bed, the sheets already cool.
You frown. How long has she been awake for? You were really hoping that the two of you could spend some quality time together.
Agatha’s been stuck grading papers in the evenings lately; it’s almost the end of the semester and all of her students have been rushing to turn in missing assignments before they took the final exam yesterday.
Meanwhile, you’ve also had to work long hours lately, so you’ve been absolutely exhausted by the time you get home.
And as a result of this, it’s been almost a week since the two of you have had sex, and you are dying. Almost every night you’ve woken up, a molten heat between your legs and a burning in your stomach, and you’ve been so tempted to roll over and wake your wife up to satiate the hunger, but each time, you see how stress free she looks, the usual lines of worry across her forehead gone, and you decide to go back to sleep. You’d touch yourself if you could, but that’s against your rules and you just know she would wake up at the right moment and catch you.
But you are determined to get her cock inside you today. You’re going to find her, fuck her wherever in the house she is, and then drag her back to the bedroom for the rest of the day.
So you get out of bed, brush your teeth, and walk downstairs in nothing but Agatha’s purple flannel, the comfy one that she loves that always seems to end up on your body, especially when sleeping. You expect to find her in the kitchen, maybe making breakfast like she usually does for you on the weekends, but she’s not there.
You make your way through the living room and imagine sinking down to your knees the second you see her, crawling to her across the floor to unbutton her pants and take her cock in your mouth. Your cunt throbs.
The door to her study is left ajar and you can hear the soft sound of pen on paper, so you peek your head in to find Agatha sitting at her desk, dressed in a tight, white T-shirt and nicely-fitted black pants, her hair curly and loose and falling over her face, and she has her favorite pair of tortoise-shell reading glasses on.
Fuck. Your mouth goes dry at the sight.
She is so focused, scribbling something with her left hand — why is that so hot? — and her brows are slightly furrowed. It’s a stern look of sorts and it goes straight to your pussy. If you were wearing underwear, it would be soaked right now, and instead you can feel your slick on your inner thigh.
“If you were my teacher,” you say, and she startles before smiling when she sees that it’s just you. “I would be so fucking distracted all the time. I think I’d fail everything on purpose just so I’d need some tutoring. Think I could get some extra credit, Professor Harkness?” Your voice drops to a seductive octave and you see her lips slightly part and her gaze darken.
“Good morning, baby,” Agatha says and appreciatively checks you out as you slowly walk over to her, swaying your hips to tease her. You walk behind her chair and wrap your arms around her, breathing in the perfume that has become your favorite scent.
You hum and look over her shoulder at what she’s working on. She’s grading an exam and the student did not do well. “How long have you been up? Want to take a break?” you ask, nuzzling your nose against her hair and licking up her earlobe.
Your wife stiffens beneath you. If it’s been torture for you this week, you can’t even imagine how she’s feeling. You nibble and then kiss down the side of her face before dragging your tongue up her neck.
Agatha’s hand clenches the pen so hard you think it might snap in half and you smirk to yourself. You’re going to have what you want in no time. There’s another gush of wetness from your pussy and you feel so fucking empty and you’re about to pull her chair back and straddle her—
“Honey,” she says levelly. “I really need to get this work done today. Maybe later?”
You pull back, absolutely stunned. You can see her erection starting to grow through her pants and you know that she’s affected. “But mommy,” you whine and she tilts her head to look up at you, eyebrow raised. “Please? I need you so bad.”
For a second, it looks like she might break. You wait with bated breath, arousal skirting through your veins, but she shakes her head. “Sorry, baby. Be a good girl for mommy and wait.”
“Fine,” you huff and nip at the juncture of her shoulder and neck before walking to the door to the study. “Maybe I’ll just go take care of it myself.”
“Don’t be a brat,” she calls after you, before lowering her voice threateningly. “And don’t even think about touching yourself.”
You turn at the door to toss a wink at her before going into the kitchen. You won’t break her rule, but you are going to break her. You’re going to get her so wound up that she has no choice but to fuck you.
You scroll on your phone for about fifteen minutes, which is more than enough time to get Agatha’s suspicions up, and you open a container of vanilla yogurt and spoon it into a bowl before walking back to the office. She looks up when you enter, tension etched on her face, and you know she’s wondering what you’ve been up to.
But then she takes you in, realizes that you unbuttoned her flannel so now she can see most of your boobs — nipples hidden just barely — and your stomach and your cunt, and her jaw drops.
“Hey,” you say, not giving anything away, and you make your way back over to her side of the desk to perch on the edge. Her eyes dart all over the place wildly, like she’s trying not to look at your bare chest on display but failing miserably.
You’re absolutely delighted to see the outline of her cock through the fabric of her pants — either she is still affected by your teasing earlier, which was practically nothing, or she got half-hard just looking at you now.
Agatha sees you looking and shifts uncomfortably, crossing one leg over the other. “What are you doing?” she asks thickly.
Getting a glob of yogurt on your spoon, you shrug and raise it to your mouth before lasciviously licking it off, never breaking eye contact. “Eating breakfast.”
Her eyes narrow through her glasses and your heart starts to pound harder. How is it possible for someone to look this sexy?
She raises her pen to her mouth and takes the tip between her teeth, just watching you. You do the same thing a few more times, slowly running your tongue up the surface of the spoon, and her right hand grips onto the armrest. The air is charged between you, electricity cackling, and you feel like you are so close to getting what you want.
You just have to bring it home.
When you go to take your next spoonful, the silverware catches on the edge of the bowl and knocks it out of your grasp, splattering yogurt all over your bare cleavage.
Agatha actually gasps and you are so fucking happy that it actually worked.
“Oops,” you say innocently and swipe through the mess on your skin, collecting some of the yogurt with two fingers before enveloping them into your mouth and sucking. You even let out a moan for dramatic effect.
It’s obvious that Agatha realizes it was a stunt based on the lethal look in her eyes but that doesn’t make it have any less impact on her. She swallows hard, her cheeks pinking slightly, and she can’t stop looking at your tits.
You push your fingers a little deeper down into your mouth the next time and you gag slightly and Agatha lets out a whimper. When you glance down at her lap, she has a full erection now and her breathing starts to deepen. She leans back in her chair and her hips rise almost indiscernibly to try and get some friction.
“Want some help with that, mommy?” you ask and shift back on her desk so you’re able to widen your own legs more and show her the glistening wetness between them.
Her fingers on the armrest flex and then relax and she bites her lip. It would be so easy to hop down and take out her cock for her — you don’t even think she’d object.
But you want to make her so desperate that she breaks.
Agatha’s eyes are dark through her glasses and you can tell that she’s absolutely aching too. You know she’s thinking about all the times she’s cum on your tits with a grunt and made you clean it off, just like that. The only difference between the picture you’re painting now and that one is you’re not on your knees in front of her.
Although, you’d change that in a heartbeat if she asked.
There’s a heated moment in which neither of you says anything, before she chews on the inside of her cheek and opens her mouth. “Later, honey,” she rasps, but instead of feeling rejected and frustrated, you feel even more challenged.
With one last drag of your fingers across your chest to get the rest of the yogurt before cleaning them off in your mouth with a wet pop, you tap your sticky fingers under her chin and get off the desk. “I like the taste of you better,” you decide and laugh as her jaw clenches.
And then, just because you’re you and you love to tease, you bend down, putting a hand atop hers on the armrest, and press a quick kiss to her cock through her pants and you feel it jump against your lips. Agatha lets out a strangled gasp, sounding like a wounded animal, but you don’t do anything more.
You can feel her stare burning into you as you leave the study again, mind already spinning with more ways to tease her.
The next idea comes to you shortly and you quickly run upstairs to shrug off Agatha’s flannel and put on a purple, skimpy, two-piece bathing suit — her favorite one. You stand in front of the floor-length mirror and snap a picture, pushing your arms together slightly so your boobs perk up, and then text it to your wife.
Think I’ll go for a swim. Care to join me?
You watch attentively as bubbles pop up on the screen and then go away. She starts typing again, and then stops as well, and it feels like you’re watching her brain short-circuit in real life. She can’t keep her hands off you when you wear this suit and you imagine her palming her dick in her office right now and trying to get any sense of relief that she can.
Finally, she sends a response. Fuck.
Short and to the point. You catch a glimpse of your wide grin in the mirror before typing back, That’s the point, mommy.
You don’t get an answer — you didn’t think you would, but you know that she must be going crazy right now, and you walk downstairs and hope that she calls you into her study. The ache inside you is growing and you’re not sure how much longer you can take. But it’s like you’ve started a battle of the wills between the two of you, and you refuse to give in.
The sun feels great on your skin as you lay on the lounge chairs in your backyard. You toy with the idea of getting in the pool and then parading around Agatha’s office all wet like that, but decide to do something a little more daring.
Grabbing your phone, you open the camera and flip it away from you and slide just your fingertips under the elastic waistband and snap a picture.
This time, you get a text back immediately. Come here right now.
A thrill runs through you and you quickly run inside and grab something from the freezer, tearing off the wrapper, and going to nonchalantly lean against the doorway of the study, where Agatha is already staring at you, the vein in her head throbbing.
And she only gets more flustered when you run your tongue up the side of the popsicle you’re now holding.
“What the fuck are you doing?” she snarls and you smirk before sauntering over to the couch and plopping down on it, putting a leg up over the side so she can see how dark the crotch of your suit bottoms have become. Agatha looks like she might pass out.
It’s dizzying, to have this much power over her. To be able to reduce her to a feral woman, one whose eyes are completely swallowed up with desire and whose cheeks are flushed. You haven’t even been in the room in about twenty minutes, and you bet she’s still hard, if not harder.
“Eating a popsicle. Do you want one?” you ask, pure and generous, like it’s common sense that you’re just being her thoughtful, good girl.
But there’s nothing pure about the way you open your mouth and take the entire popsicle down your throat, bobbing your head up and down for good measure while you give her your best blow-job eyes. You know how absolutely crazy she gets when you look at her like that and right now is no exception — her cheek twitches and she gulps, a slight sheen of sweat breaking out on her face.
“You need to stop,” she says dangerously. “Mommy needs to get her work done and can’t fucking concentrate because of you.”
You hollow out your cheeks and suck on the popsicle hard.
And then it’s your turn to whimper because she pushes out of her chair and stands up and as she’s walking over to you, you can see her cock straining against her pants and you wonder if she’s about to fuck you on the couch.
Wouldn’t be the first time.
But she yanks the popsicle out of your mouth by the stick and drags it across your chest, making you hiss at the cold, before she leans down and sucks up the flavoring and ice.
“You are driving me fucking crazy,” she groans before pulling you off the couch and reaching behind you and untying your top. She tears it off over your head before trailing the popsicle, melting now from your body heat, down to circle your nipple. It hardens and goosebumps erupt all over your chest and it tears a short moan from your mouth.
And then just like before, her mouth follows, licking the same path around your nipple before sucking it into her mouth and making you keen. Your entire body is engulfed in heat and you press a thigh against her cock, making her shudder. She’s hard, so fucking hard, and you need to feel her inside you.
“Agatha — mommy, fuck, I need you,” you whine and grab onto her hair but she yanks herself back, her chest rising and falling fast before grabbing your throat.
Your body stiffens and your brain goes foggy. “Listen to me very closely, babygirl,” she whispers and it just goes to your head and your cunt even more. “You are going to go back upstairs and put on some decent clothes. And then you’re going to come down here and sit your ass on the couch so I can watch you and make sure you’re not getting into any more trouble. And if you can behave—” her eyebrows raise like she doesn’t think you can, “—then maybe, you’ll get a reward.”
You are fucking soaked and all you can go is nod, but just to get the last word in somehow, you angle your leg just a little more, rubbing against her cock, and she almost buckles, a low groan coming from her mouth. She pulses in her pants and she grunts and her hips jerk forward.
“Mommy, please,” you beg in desperation, seeing the look on her face. You think she might be even more turned on than you.
But your wife is resisting for the principle now, and she steps back from you and points to the hallway. You roll your eyes and huff before stomping up and finding the shortest skirt and the smallest white crop-top you own, forgoing a bra entirely and putting on your skimpiest pair of underwear that barely covers anything. If you’re lucky, she’ll get so mad at you for being a brat that she’ll bend you over her leg and spank you.
You strut back into the study and up to her desk, and the pen in Agatha’s fingers falls onto the table. “Do you call those decent clothes?” she rasps and you shrug teasingly before picking up a pencil and spinning it around your fingers, sending it flying to the middle of the room.
“Whoops,” you say, and when you turn around to bend down and pick it up, showing Agatha your soaked panties and your pussy lips peeking out around the edges, she takes too sharp of a breath and it sends her into a coughing fit.
It’s hard not to laugh and you put the pencil down before telling her you’ll be right back and quickly walking to the kitchen to get her a glass of water. You get a second one just for yourself, determined that you’re closer than ever to making her break.
She’s still coughing a little when you get back to the room and she gratefully accepts the cup you offer to her before gulping down half of the water. Now that you’re standing on her side of the desk, you can still see the prominent bulge in her pants and it makes arousal rush through you. Agatha must have been turned on all fucking day, you’re not sure how she hasn’t given in yet.
As much as you need your release, you want her to get some even more, so you raise your glass to your lips and tip it too much, sending the entire, overflowed cup of water pouring down your front and onto the floor.
Agatha swears and jumps back in her chair to avoid getting wet and you immediately drop to your knees, your shirt now clinging to your body and showing your pebbled nipples, almost as hard as your wife’s cock. She makes a muffled noise and when you look up, you realize that she has a perfect vantage point right down your shirt.
At this point, her hands are claws digging into her thighs and her hips buck involuntarily, and you have a brilliant idea for how to clean up the spilled water.
You take off your wet shirt, your chest glistening, and Agatha lurches forward uncontrollably, letting out a gasp. You smirk sweetly before mopping up the puddle, looking up at her through your lashes with your bottom lip between your teeth and her jaw clenches.
Heat is practically radiating off her.
The floor is now for the most part dry, and you crawl closer on your knees to put your hands on her thighs to push yourself up, “accidentally” brushing the tip of her cock, and her arm shoots out to grab your wrist.
She looks livid.
Agatha stands up, yanking you with her, and turns you over to bend you over her desk and she spanks you hard.
You moan and push back against her cock and she whimpers before leaning over you. “You want to act like a fucking slut? Then you’re going to sit on my cock until I’m done working and if you move an inch, I won’t touch you for a week, got it?” she hisses in your ear, tugging on your hair, and it’s all you can do to nod your head.
She spins you around, unzips her pants, and reaches inside to pull out her cock and fuck — she’s so stiff that she’s standing up completely straight, her tip twitching and oozing precum, and the veins along her length are prominent and almost purple.
You want to taste her so fucking bad, but you also just need her inside you. You can feel how wet you are, how wet you’ve been this entire day, and you know it’s going to be absolute torture to cockwarm her.
Agatha hikes up your skirt and groans when she slides a hand between your legs to feel your underwear and you lick a hot stripe up your palm and fingers with your tongue before reaching down and giving her cock a quick stroke while she starts peel your panties off and —
“Oh, fuck fuck fuck — no, fuck,” she chants and then lets out a guttural cry as her hips jolt and her cock pulses in your hand and then throbs, and she slumps forward onto you as she cums.
Her seed spurts out while her body jerks against yours pathetically while she grunts in frustration and rides it out. You are in complete shock that all it took was one touch from you to have her absolutely fall apart like this; maybe your teasing worked a little too well. Her cum is hot as it drips down your hand and down to the base of her cock and the sounds coming from her mouth are downright pornographic.
You can feel yourself getting even wetter though, the power you have over her coursing through your body and settling right in your cunt, making your head spin with how it feels. She’s never had this happen before, and you’re not sure if it's because of the dry spell or your teasing or both.
When her cock finally starts to soften in your hand, she steps back and her face is bright red and she’s looking anywhere but your eyes.
“Mommy, you just—” you start to say in awe, but she drops her head into her hands, her glasses being pushed up on her forehead.
“Don’t,” she says, but it comes out muffled and she drops down into her chair, still refusing to look at you.
It’s taking all your ability to not laugh because you know she’s already humiliated enough. Instead, you slowly get to your knees in front of her and, even though she’s not watching, you lick all of her cum off your hand, moaning at the salty taste, and then pushing her legs open so you can get between them.
She jumps when your tongue darts out to clean the cooling cum off the base of her cock and with one hand still covering her face, the other comes down to rest on your head while you continue gently lapping at her. Her cock twitches every now and then with your mouth on it, and you know she’ll be hard again in no time.
When you’re done and sit back on your heels, she finally looks at you, her face no longer scarlett.
“You’re a fucking tease, you know that?” she asks, her voice still a little shaky.
You smirk. “Do you know how fucking hot that was, mommy? But maybe you should’ve just fucked me the first time I asked, though.”
Agatha rolls her eyes and stands up, motioning for you to get off the ground. “We’re going to go up to our room and I’m going to make you pay for that.”
“Pay for what, mommy?” you simper, and you know you’re on thin ice, you know you should stop and pretend like it didn’t happen, but you’re a brat at heart. “You’re the one who used cockwarming as a punishment but couldn’t even get said cock inside me.”
Your wife fucking growls and grabs you by the arm to pull you out of the study and up the stairs, your giggles following the sounds of her angry footsteps.
“Maybe next time,” you add wistfully and if looks could kill, you’d be dead with the glare she shoots you over her shoulder.
You cannot wait to make her do that again.
