QUEEN OF THE PRIDE LANDS & A GOOFBALL
SARABI | THE LION KING | NAOMIE HARRIS OR OPEN FACE | WANT AD
copy pasted from ad on site !!
Hello! This request is for Sarabi otherwise known as Simba's mother and Mufasa's mate. As Queen of the Pridelands she ruled at Mufasa's side so when I think of her in the real world she's in a position that is equal to or even above Samuel's. I can see her being a Senator or a Public Defender. Somewhere she has a lot of power which allows her to protect people and serve her community.
Now, for the angsty bit. Obviously, the elephant in the room is that Mufasa isn't dead. It's entirely by chance that he survived the stampede and the fall from the cliff side and Samuel is well aware of that. He knows that he was meant to die in the canyon and while his death put his family through a lot of pain and Scar caused a lot of hardships and turmoil, Samuel does 100% believe his decision and will stand by it. Even if it means that should he ever meet his family again they all hate him for it. While I would like for him to find Sarabi and for them to be together, I also understand that it's entirely likely she will never forgive him for essentially abandoning their family.
That being said, Sarabi was not shown in LK2 and the timeline of the cut-off is sometime during the events of that movie so it's likely that in canon Sarabi has passed herself or you could write that she was just in the background. Maybe she left the pride for one reason or another and crossed over and she's been in the RW for a few years. All of that is really up to you. Samuel has remained faithful to his Queen even after all these years and he's never been with anyone or shown any interest in being with someone else. He'd likely remain loyal even if Sarabi wanted nothing to do with him ever again.
Face-wise I'm going to leave it wide open. I do have some ideas for how they could meet again, and why Samuel might not have noticed her sooner ( he has somewhat of a sixth sense when it comes to AW citizens thanks to the spirits nudging him about it ) if she's been in Ontario for a while. JUST. GIVE MY MAN HIS WIFE BACK OKAY?
OPEN CANON | BILL HADER | FINAL FOR FEAR FROM INSIDE OUT | WANT AD
hello, I am back on my bullshit. to which you could possibly argue: but sam? haven't you always been on your bullshit? yes. ANYWAY. this is a request for a final for my lovely little ball of anxiety, Freud. Now, in my head, I've got only the vaguest idea of what I'm looking for. What I'm certain of is that this character must be male-identifying as Freud is very, very gay. What I'm less certain of is that this character must be a goofball. I want a silly man who snort-laughs at his own jokes. I want someone who doesn't seem to take absolutely anything seriously because it would drive Freud UP. A. WALL.
Now. I've suggested Bill Haderpartly because he and James happen to be the actors that play one of my biggest OTPs. And a lot of the dynamic between their characters in IT Chapter 2 is kind of what inspired me to make this want-ad. Howerver, I'm not looking for someone to play a knockoff of Richie Tozier. I'm actually leaning more toward Bill Hader's actual personality. He's goofy, he giggles, he likes telling funny stories and making people laugh.
Freud desperately needs a reason to laugh. He needs someone to teach him how to be less serious all the time and remind him that he's technically from the head of a 13-year-old girl and he's allowed to be silly and not serious every once in a while.
The forum is an animation panfandom personified set in modern day Ontario, Canada that recently opened. However the community itself has been around since roughly 2012 and we're all very excited to have this fresh start and welcome new members! Not just that but we've expanded our canon list beyond just movies to include television series and even video games! There's lots of opportunity for creativity especially with the animated oc process that has allowed our members to make entire worlds of their own to play with. My discord is drakarifire, feel free to add me if you have any questions!

This ask is sorta random, but its a thought I rly wanted to share since I think it’s kinda wholesome :)
If you think about it, Roger’s wife Kamillah is living every fan girl’s fanfic dream. From my understanding, she met him when she was working as his driver and he literally fell in love with her at first sight. Compared to his other wives and gfs (except Judy I guess, not sure about Carolyne) all of them were sorta prominent or worked in the entertainment industry like Priscilla and Laurie. The way he looks at her is unlike the way he’s ever looked at anyone in my observation. I think she really is the one. He always dedicates the last song for her at his recent concerts.
Good for her, I’m honestly so happy for them. Hope they stay together forever ❤️ (this is so random, apologies for the nonsensical ramble!)
Does he really dedicate songs to her ? That's indeed really sweet. I'm not sure how you evaluate 'the way he looks at her' though, especially compared to other partners, given how few pictures we have of Roger + Kamilah together and even fewer of him + previous wives.
I do believe he's finally found true love with Kamilah, but I don't think her social/professional background has much to do with it. True love transcends class or income ; though I guess social expectations among certain social groups and tensions linked with money can jeopardize a marriage, and there might have been some of that in his relationship with Carolyne, Priscilla and Laurie. But tbh trying to resolve the mystery of Roger's many failed marriages is a bit of a useless quest until the day he clears it up himself. There just isn't enough info out there, it's all conjecture.
What makes me believe in the viability of his relationship with Kamilah is what he's said about his new vision of love in several interviews a few years ago. It's not that he had a massive breakthrough or that he realized he never actually loved his previous wives, more that his understanding of love & relationships has matured in the meantime. He's finally linked the part of his psyche that cares about the plight of human beings all over the world and the part that falls in love with women ; he's figured out that romantic love should stem from the basic, universal brotherly love that you might call charity or humanitarianism. I wanna say, 'duh !' But you know, better late than never.
Relevant interview excerpts (+ links to full interview) :
Are you married now ? RW : "No, I’m… not. I’m single. [...] I did fall deeply, deeply, deeply in love about a year ago and uh… I’m not going to talk about that except to say that that has opened up fresh horizons." Being in love is different than it was before, or…? "Yeah. With all due respect to my many ex-wives. [...] Oh god, my god yeah, open yourself up to love… It’s the hardest, most kind of dangerous thing that anybody can do. And that’s, you know, on a personal level with a woman… But it points the way maybe to the fact that there is only one path worth walking in life, and that is to attempt, insofar as you can, to open yourself up to everybody else as well. That is the mission, is to discover how much you can open yourself up to the rest of humanity." WTF Podcast, october 2016 (before he was with Kamilah)
Tell us about "Wait for Her." Why did you decide to interpret that poem into an English ballad, and what special meaning does it hold for you? "Well, that’s sort of private. You see it has something to do with love and it has something to do with how feeling the power of emotions that one can feel in a love affair, in a love for a woman or a man, I don’t care … Romantic love, and physical love and passionate love can bring out in one, maybe encourage the potential that we have for a broader expression of the love that we all have within us." Stepfeed.com, october 2017
What is good? "Love is good, obviously. It requires maturation. If you have real love, it will surely last a long time. Because love is about giving, not receiving." Do you have a 'real love' today? "Yes, I have Kamilah. We are not married, but we have been together for a couple of years. And I'm happy." Infobae.com, november 2018
I'm assuming that this last interview is the one you referenced when you talked about how he & Kamilah met, but if it was a different one, please share the link ! I'm always hungry for some fresh interviews ! Oh and btw, I'm remembering now that I was supposed to post a translated version of it some time last year. Is anyone still interested in this ? If so PLEASE tell me. (Otherwise I won't bother)

I’m a young man that have strayed from the teaching of Christ and as such confirmed to the world. My soul desire to fully recommit my life to him. It’s hard being in the world and around people that aren’t much of a believer, I get lonely sometimes without them and especially being single. I would LOVE to have a girlfriend in my life that’s a christian to help me and bring me closer, yes I know its walking with christ is move i have to undertake myself, but id like to have someone to help keep me balance. Are Christian women interested in guys that are not fully committed to christ?
Am i wrong for thinking this way?
Remember me in your prayers
R.W.
Hi, thanks so much. A true Christian woman would want to date a true Christian man, and vice versa. Biblically speaking men are to love their wives like Christ, which is a HUGE commandment for men and therefore a man needs to be grounded spiritually. "Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church" Ephesians 5:25-29.
For a man to lovingly live out Christ/the Word of God (Bible) to his wife, to pray for and with her, to lovingly speak Scriptural truths into her life, he needs to be grounded in his relationship with Christ - sanctified himself, in the Word himself. A true Christian woman will want this because she knows Scripturally the importance of this, and she will not want to be unequally yoked as that is disobeying Scripture (2 Corinthians 6:14). Therefore, I would wholeheartedly encourage you to respond to Christ's call on your life, seek him and find him, "You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13.
That being said, a godly wife is an amazing encourager, helpmeet, and prayer ally for her husband. Wives have an honorable calling on their lives to be so (Ephesians 5:33, Genesis 2:18). Women get to respect their husbands. Men are to love their wives, wives are to respect their husbands. When a woman is loved well she will respect her husband. When a man is respected well he will love his wife. This is possible through Christ as our example and the Holy Spirit gives us the ability to. This is such a huge commandment and undertaking, husbands and wives need Christ to love/respect each other. We need him so much. In the Bible it never says a wife has found a good thing by finding a husband, rather, it does say a husband is blessed to have a virtuous wife and God has shown him favor (Proverbs 18:22, Proverbs 31:10, Proverbs 12:4, Proverbs 19:14) - it says a wife is a good thing. Therefore men who desire to marry should be men of God desiring for the Lord to provide a godly wife and he should understand he has found a good thing and God has shown him favor. That's why if men speak down of marriage or having a wife their heart is not aligned biblically with God's desire for husbands and wives, it's a blessing and something to be cared for, a wife is to be protected by and provided for by her husband. Men have quite a calling and they need the Lord to fulfill that calling.

I will pray for you now, RW.

whats wrong with aisha??
Could you clarify what you meant? There's nothing wrong with them inherently, or any species really 🥲
The lovely @zicko clarified this was most likely about my tags on the recently posted Aisha named Firebend, in a Zuko cosplay. Thank you 🥰
Anyways, there's nothing wrong with them at all, and they're popular for a reason. However, as my wife, best friend, and other friends say, I'm a hipster and don't like what's actually popular 😅 and, it's true - sort of. I just don't like the mob mentality of people latching on to the newest trend, just because it's the newest trend.
I remember in Ye Olden Days when to show off, you had 5 accounts filled with Draiks/Krawks. Then when they were nerfed, it was UCs. Then suddenly if you didn't have a white kacheek (or multiples), you weren't shit, and now it's Blums/Aishas, especially transparent, and ESPECIALLY if they're a RN/RW or 3/4L. On and on.
So like... I don't BLAME anyone, again, these things are trends and popular for a reason! I just get tired of seeing whatever the newest PC/NC Thing is because it becomes more of a popularity/show-off contest rather than someone genuinely liking The Thing. I've seen people jump ship and trade/paint pets at the drop of a hat because it's no longer cool to have 20 Draiks, or they have to trade their UCs in immediately for the RW UFT. Etc etc.
Anyways, this all leads up to my tags on Firebend. I was just annoyed it wasn't a more human like pet, to match the fact that it's a cosplay, and was instead a popular "in trend" quad, because I can bet you dollars to doughnuts if Aishas weren't popular right now, he would definitely not be one.
(And btw, this has nothing to do with people who just genuinely liked the newest popular thing. Everyone has their own niche, and I know my bestie was so excited when Draiks were nerfed because she could finally have as many as she wanted. This isn't about that, but the overall trend of it.)
Hopefully this makes sense! If not, feel free to message me and I'll clarify anything 🥰 at the end of the day, it's all my opinion and should be taken with heaps of salt lol
(Normally I try not to answer asks if I can help it so I don't ruin the flow of customs, but I really gotta publish this one for clarity, sorry 😅)

So when I watch shows like Law and Order SVU it pains me to see teenagers with rich parents get away with just about anything because I know it happens in real life too like but then I stop and wonder about what would I do in a situation like that if it was my kid and they did something bad or made a huge mistake that resulted in someone else paying the price and then I feel like the decision isn't that easy it either throw your kid to the wolves with a public defender or get them the lightest punishment as possible with the best defense that money could buy especially if you have it I mean you could do the moral thing and try to convince your kid to tell the truth and take a plea but then it would kind of contradict having a expensive lawyer because they're going to argue against your kid doing that if they can get them off
It’s definitely a tough situation!! It’s similar to the one’s where someone’s husband/boyfriend is accused of something, and the wife/gf is appalled and is all “he would never do that” because they only know the one side of their partner. Part of me thinks that I would believe the victim no matter what, being all “welp, people keep secrets” but then things happen where they’re being set up/falsely accused, and like, how do you come back from that if you didn’t believe your partner? Like, it’s fucked.
With kids, it’s tricky too, like, how do they behave around you, how blinded are you. The ep with Rita Wilson’s kid being a fucking psycho, who accuses Stabler of molesting him while in arraignment and RW defends him until the very end when the kid is CLEARLY not right in the head, like, yeah, I’d be all “you can have him..” but there’s other times where things aren’t quite black and white, and you’d have to do what you thought was right for your family/child. There’s also the whole stereotype/truth about those super rich/influential families that the family name means something, so if their kid goes down for a crime, the entire family’s reputation is destroyed, not just the kid, so they’re just trying to save face, which also sucks/is stupid.
TL;DR, if my kid was ever accused of something I’d want to sit down, hear their side of what happened, look at the hard facts/evidence and hear what the Vic/witness had to say for myself (like, through the glass, i don’t need to talk to them) and then make my own judgement, it would also definitely depend on the severity.

Yes, I mean at the RW. She takes the life of a completely innocent and helpless person, out of no necessity and for no possible gain. Again, I don't think Cat is devil incarnate or a monster or anything like that. But ordinary people are sometimes capable of monstrous acts, and what Cat did at the RW is definitely one. And I don't understand the comment calling it a reach. Was the person not innocent? Did Cat not murder them? Was it not her most morally indefensible act? Which part is a reach?
pt 2 (I’m assuming the second one is also from you anon! Correct me if I’m wrong):
In response to the commenter encouraging healthy discussion by saying anyone who might judge Cat's act of murdering the innocent Frey must not be able to read and has no brain... Yes, there are certainly extenuating circumstances, in that she is understandably in a state of extreme distress. But she is nevertheless aware of what she is doing committing the murder. She calls the victim by his name while matter-of-factly and in detail describing killing him.
Ok so of course killing innocent people is a horrible thing, but I find it difficult to judge her on that because it’s not something she decided to do with a clear mind (I haven’t read that chapter yet, but I’m gonna assume the general idea is the same as the show since I’ve been told the dynamic is pretty much the same even though it’s not Walder’s wife).
This is not something she does out of personal gain, or even at that point because she is trying to save herself - the way I perceived it in the show was that after seeing her own son killed in front of her eyes and knowing she is going to be next (and this is only the culmination of a mental breakdown that has been going on since book 1 - she clearly becomes more and more depressed and hopeless, honestly reading her chapters is scary), her mind literally breaks down, to the point that she is no longer able to act on her own will, she is completely driven by the animal instinct of “kicking back”, no matter that the person she is killing really had no part in the slaughtering (I mean I think of Walder’s wife, who was actually a double victim because she was first abused by her husband and then killed because he refused to make the exchange... But I’m gonna assume the person she kills in the book is also innocent cause you said so). This is not her making the tough choice of sacrificing an innocent for the good of her house anymore, I feel like at that point she is literally out of her own control, because that’s what extreme shock and trauma can do, especially coming as the climax of a much longer and deeper emotional and psychological destress..
This doesn’t mean her actions aren’t tragic or that we shouldn’t care about the life she is taking, but I cannot bring myself to consider this as a “flaw of her character” (which.. she has! And I’ve said before, it’s fine to discuss her flaws, I’m not saying she is perfect), because this is not a standard way of acting for her, this is one action I feel she really has little or no agency on, so I don’t think it defines her personality. I don’t know if I’m explaining myself, my point is that I can see other characters having the same reaction in the same situation; which means it’s hardly something that has to do with the character, but more with the way your brain and body reacts to this amount of trauma. I get what you were saying about ordinary people being capable of monstrous acts, but I don’t think this is the case, because it’s not really Cat deciding at that point - her mind has completely collapsed. To me it’s like she is not even there anymore.
#catelyn stark#red wedding#i hate to discuss things i haven't read yet so please consider this more as a show opinion than anything else#anon asks#asks

http://dudeblade.tumblr.com/post/160270497031/dudeblade-team-crtq-dudeblade-team-crtq
So, you couldn’t beat me directly so you’re trying to alienate me huh? Some fucking friend you were.
Seeing as we are doing a reblog again, I will just be tackling the reblogs made by Dudeblade.
Congradu-fuckong-lations.
You just blacklisted this ENTIRE BLOG to EVERYBODY.
Blacklist definition: a list of people or products viewed with suspicion or disapproval.
How has anything I’ve said would make the Team CRTQ blog blacklisted? Oh that’s right, in your eyes, I’m some blind RWBY fanboy who can’t criticize anything about RWBY and hate everything about RWDE. While you are right about the second part but for all the wrong reasons, the very first post on the CRTQ blog was a RWBY criticism post made by Mod Quartz AKA ME. Those are all the faults I found professional in RWBY so your talk about me being a fanboy is false and shows you only said it as an Ad Homien attack to stick the title to me as a way of harming me personally.
Also, would you rather NOT know who I am on the blog so you can ignore it directly? Would you rather I talk anonymously as you accuse me of doing?.
Hey, Cobalt, Regalia, and Tangerine! You ARE aware that your buddy, ‘quartz’ is the one who said THIS:
Note that these screencaps don’t let you see what is above the post so it doesn’t show that was after a several post long debate where I tried arguing facts but my opponent kept ignoring me and it was pissing me off so i decided I would descend to their level for a little while and show them how little I respect them that I would consider their posts the equivalent of a child’s insult. I would link to it myself but the blog no longer exists and my archive is almost 1000 posts long.
Right?
Are you okay with that?
Are you okay with having an asshole who would use such immature analogies like smearing a piece of glass on someone’s face?
Are you?
ARE YOU?
Dunno Dudeblade, are you okay with people who argue the result of The Meta Vs. Carolina? Yeah, because your friend @kalediscope has said that. What about people who have done the exact same insults that YangHatersHaven has said? Because Sokuontaka and RWBYCriticism and Internetcoward have all done the same exact shit as a group you actively despise? Are you okay with all that? Apparently and unlike you, I don’t need to take stuff out of context: YangHaterHaven has told people to kill themselves, So has Sokumontaka. YHH has called RWBY a rip off, so has RWBYCriticism. YHH has blocked people and talked about them behind their backs: So hqas literally all three of those.
But I guess it’s fine if you say so right?
Because apparently, you’re alright with guys like Megashadowdragon using you guys as your personal army, but if I do it, then by all means, I’m the bad guy.
Proof? No? Then shut up. He is his own person and @megashadowdragon is responsible for his actions alone, no one else.
Apparently, you only look out for your own, because if you’ve seen half of the things I’ve seen kob do, you probably wouldn’t have welcomed him with open arms.
Hey Dudeblade, guess what? they have seen all the stuff I have done and they still welcomed me in because they’re my friends, friends you tried to drive away from me personally. Guess we can add that to the list of things you’re not allowed to talk about
After all, he DID say this about Yang:
And you said you wanted Jaune to die painfully and be forgotten forever. And unlike you, you have shown before that you do believe that whereas I have said repeatedly that WAS sarcasm as well as the fact that I love Yang.
So tell me why exactly I should trust your opinion on anythin RW/BY when you have a guy who basically all but said, “Losing your arm in a terrorist attack is less traumatizing than having your first wife leave you, and having your second wife die.”
Tell me.
You have 24 hours to respond to this with a good answer, or you are officially blacklisted.
And almost lost his kids TWICE, the second time with Ruby being unconscious and Yang missing an arm, then Ruby leaves with just a note, then Qrow leaves without a word, then he spends six months worrying about Ruby then Yang leaves, adding that to the worrying pile.
Also, does this all sound familiar? The “DO as I say or else” mentality? Yeah, this is terrorism. As in, South Park Textbook definition (AKA I have seen Cartman do this exact same in “Cartoon Wars Part 2″ where he is trying to use Terrorism against the Fox Executives to scare them into canceling Family Guy. And Cartman outright admits it’s terrorism)
Wow. Congratulations Dudeblade, you are official a South Park Punchline. That is not something you see everyday,
Fair enough. But don’t expect me or anyone else to completely agree with you. Kob never gave any indication that he was being sarcastic in his posts, so he deserves nothing. I will keep an open mind when it comes to anyone else’s posts, but kob ruined his own credibility with his “sarcasm.”
Implying I wasn’t being sarcastic.
And also: You are not one to talk Mr. bias against male characters and Taiyang especially.
Oh, and are you aware that kob committed block evasion? Are you going to condone or condemn that?
With the implication that if they don’t, they’ll be blacklisted AKA DO as I say or else. (*https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ErVLTHULVA*)
And unlike you, I actually TRY to be objective on the CRTQ blog whereas you outright admit you’re bias but act like you’re being objective as well. Yeah, pretty standard Dudeblade stuff this time around, except now I can make South Park Jokes with him as the punchline.
