I'm mental ill so here are a bunch of my Sweet cap'n cakes headcanon

I'm not really sure where I should put this Headcanon but I Headcanon them as brothers there also all 15 in my headcanon

[Cap'n]

-Cap'n is non-binary he uses He/They pronouns and he's bi (convinced that their straight is in full on dental)

-they have autism and anxiety

-Cap'n favourite type of music is basically Toby fox's kind of music he has a very video gamey style of music he likes

-Cap'n is terrified of bugs any bugs Sweet and K_K never thought it was a big deal till they found him sobing on the dinner table at 7am cos he saw a spider somewhere

-their dask is always a mess they can never find anything on it it drives them mad but they despise cleaning

-bottles up all their emotions to a very unhealthy degree

-when they get mad they tend to just storm out of the house and destroy things at the trash zone

-they only drink soda (and milk when they need to be healed)

-they love sweet foods the tried a Taki once and they felt like they were dieing from the spice (or as sweet calls it being dramatic)

-he thinks he's the leader of the band (he's not)

-flirts with everything that moves he's is also unintentionally creepy with the flirting alot of the time but he'll stop if you ask

-his flirting only worked on one girl and she didn't even show up for the date

-he almost cried fr didn't help that it was on valentines day

-he dance with Ralsei when they first had their fight... he felt things but he's not gay right (spoiler alert he's bi and in denial)

-speaking of his love life he may flirt alot but if someone dares flirt back with him he became a sweating nervous blushing pile of stuttering

-cannot handle flirting to save his life

-really likes video games has a shit sleep schedule cos of it

-cap'n swears a lot (I mean he calls the Berdly status shit in the Japanese version of the game)

-he also suffers from nightmares he tends to go out on a lot of midnight walks

-he also has shitty eyesight (yes those are prescription glasses)

-K_K kindly tells him to watch he's fucking language

-Sweet is non-binary and they use they/them pronouns their aroace and romance repulsed hate it

-they have autism

-sweets favourite music is musicals like Heathers, Beatle juice and ride the cyclone

-Speaking of they hateing romance they cannot sit though a romance film without nitpicking every little detail of the film

-they are a total perfectionist every need to be perfect on their desk cap'ns mess ass desks drives them insane

-Sweet is some kind of horror their mouth is also their eye retractable teeth they didn't really do it as a kid but they just did it one morning at breakfast and the only one they was freaked out was Cap'n

-sweet ironically love spicy foods like curry and Takis

-when they talk they pace up and down helps the train of thought

-sweet is the leader of band they are the full on brains of the operation

-The one that holds the braincell

-if sweet has too much sugar they go full hyper feral mode their too small can't handle too much suger

-they will bite, scream, kick, hiss do anything to get more sweet stuff K_K is the only one that can contain the feral beast

-they collect shiny rock and necklaces and shit

-basically a box of random crap they like

- Cakes desk is organised chaos to everyone else it look terrible but to K_K can just find whenever they need

-K_K is a chronic sleepwalker and talked Sweet and Cap'n lock the front door but K_K somehow always unlocks it

-Cakes isn't actually as dumb as she pretends he's actually really smart she just tends to zone out a lot

-very terrible sleep schedule wakes up at 5pm and falls asleep at 6am they try and fix it but their an insomniac so if they wake up during the night they're not going to fall back asleep

-K_K has a tendency to wonder off like their talking with Sweet and Cap'n one minute and their walking through a random alleyway the next

-they were the one that met spamton first tried to sell her car insurance she fucking ran for the hills

-spamton scares him... a lot

-K_K is the only reason that sweet hasn't choked out Cap'n

-cakes can be scary when she wants to be like when she's mad she'll just glare at you with a blank smile

-doesn't help they she tends to loom over people

-he's also really quite when they walk like they just appear behind people

-stay with me but I headcanon that Queen has always wanted kids

-so she just kinda kidnapped K_K made them sign adoption papers

-and now she's Cakes (cool adopted) mom

-sweet and Cap'n did not take this news well when they found out

people can Famously do whatever they want especially when it comes to enjoying media and generally i find this to be a good thing. but unfortunately i am a strange and unusual autistic that generally sticks very very close to canon. all this to say i don’t Get It when people headcanon k_k deltarune as using they/them Only or even she/her Only when he has literally been referred to with ‘he’ by one of the people presumably closest to him(brothers to me)

for the record i think he is he/they. i think all three of them are he/they. maybe even canonically but people fight me on this one (really just capn and kk since sweet has only indirectly been referred to as they like in the following screenshot from the wiki (bc I didn’t want to watch a video of their fight to screenshot and crop flavor text) BUT they’re still called by generally masculine terms alongside the other two like ‘guys’ (ost “almost to the guys”) and ‘young men’ (by seam)) (and they use overly-masculine self-referential pronouns in japanese, along with capn)

like im Fairly Certain the individual of scc are still the only one being lost in the groove in dance x. the “they” in ‘they’re totally lost in the groove’ is still Just One of scc. I don’t believe the fun gang are lost in the groove bc honestly they don’t talk like any of this fight was fun for them HSHSHDNDHDJDJ

also incase it isn’t clear i think it’s chill to add on she/her to k_k’s pronouns. people can famously do whatever they want especially when it comes to enjoying media and generally I think this is good. but saying they use she/her (or they/them) ONLY and not In Conjunction With is where I go “well. no. the game called him he. so he/him has to be part of their pronouns?” and i recognize it’s probably petty and stupid to care about to like any degree but know I don’t say this with hate in my heart

and of course there’s nuance like maybe the idea is they Change their pronouns later on but idk no one ever says this

Undertale is actually the best game of all time. (Prepare yourself for some rambling lol)

Its characters are so unique and loveable, and the plot and the universe its in has so much depth, there's so many easter eggs throughout the game, all the different AUs are so creative, and the soundtrack is AMAZING-the songs are so incredibly intertwined with one another with all the motifs throughout the music, it is just an all-round immaculate franchise, and I adore it.

I can't quite remember how long my interest in it lasted, maybe 2 years? But I first discovered it in September 2019, by watching jacksepticye's playthrough he did in 2015, where I became completely hooked on it! I remember learning all the names of the songs in Undertale's soundtrack by heart in chronological order, and also drawing the characters for hours on end!! Genuinely one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life.

My favourite character is Papyrus (NYEH-HEH-HEH!!), with Mettaton coming in at a close 2nd place. But to be honest, every single one of the characters are brilliant!!

For about 4 years I've been trying to kill Sans (unsuccesfully), but I can almost get past the last stage by now, so thats progress at least..but tbh it was such a horrible feeling to murder everyone else, especially Papyrus, on the genocide route- but it had to be done I suppose.

Undertale means ALOT to me, especially since it helped me get through some super difficult times back when I was in school, due to really bad depression etc. It also helped me make an irl friend too (who is now one of my best friends)! So yeah, undertale truly means the world to me.

And deltarune is just the same, completely incredible!! The battle theme (Rude Buster) is one of the greatest game songs I've ever heard, and I often listen to it on repeat. I had a short second phase of undertale/deltarune a year after my first one, where I became obsessed with Sweet, Cap'n and K_K. They are such good characters aaaaa I love them!!! I can't wait for chapter 3 of deltarune to be released soon!!

But omg the undertale/deltarune soundtracks are so fun to play on instruments (especially piano for me), especially fallen down, home, your best friend, death by glamour...the list goes on lol.

Undertale also introduced me to my first ever gay people so I have Undyne, Alphys and Mettaton to thank for making me realise I was in the LGBT+ community!!

So in conclusion, Undertale is the best game. Yes.

i'm frustrated over this because it's been 2 years now . the wiki states clearly sweet capn and k_k's relationship is up for interpretation . they have no canon relationship outside of "they know and hang around each other" .

it's such a simple task . please . and PLEASE god note that a lot of polyscc fans are heavily uncomfortable with that interpretation, and the relationship drama as a whole . not all of them, but a good amount, me and my friends included .

all in all please . look at the wiki before you go into someone's ask box and assume things to them, especially if it's something as horrid saying the characters they ship are related .

[ A Demon who is a royal duke of hell, Mark. Caketon, An angel, But also used to be a famed broken fairy. Mark had recently met an unfamiliar person but in a similar form named Caketon since after k_k started going missing. A cd player. With multi colored wings and two different eye colors and red cheeks. Voice was a little off-key and broken. At first. Mark is getting so much suspicions on him. Caketon kept lying he was someone else. But Mark was never dumb enough to be fooled with. Mark threatened caketon to bring his real angel partner back or else ]

[ while in the forest. Mark tied the imposter on the ground until he got his answers ] “ tell me the truth…what do you want from Cakes..? I’m not falling into any more scams… ” [ he throws his dagger in the air and catches the handle back in his hands. The smaller angel scoffed and turned its head away ] " I Do Not Speak [[Terrible Customer Services!]] Especially from a [[Virus Detected]]!! [LUCIFER!!] like you!!! " [ Mark threw a dagger nearly hit them as a threat ] “ OKAY OKAY YOU [[Slime!!]] STOP WITH THE [[Throw for a prize!!]] ALREADY!! I…I just…needed an..[[Angel]] to go up in [[Heaven]] ” “ you need..an angel.? [ Mark stopped for a moment and looked at the smaller angel. He doesn’t know if he should feel pity and guilt or not. He sensed their aura was fear and misery.. Despair. Pleading.. his shoulders dropped as he groaned. He pinched the brim of his face with his finger ] “ okay fine fine! Let me ask you one more thing just to make sure… ”

leans in. so how do you think scc handle on-the-go repairs when they don't have access to some stuff? like if k_k busts their head on a doorframe or something and they can't head home to go fix it

in terms of who's most prone to getting random injuries ? all of them . but in different ways

sweet - has the least sturdy build of all of them . can definitely tank a few hits but after you start wearing it down it'll start to leave its scuff marks . plus their balancing issues that leave them prone to tripping/face planting (as seen in game)

capn - stubborn . purely stubborn . acts high and mighty like nothing can touch him only to have a werewire tear him to shreds . and will still act like everything's ok afterwards . he's a pain in the ass to truly convince he's not ok and needs repairs . despite how bad it really is

k_k - just tends to accidentally run into things . especially their head . too damn tall n hits signs, door frames, bridges etc . k_k is easily the sturdiest one of them all, but can still get broken fairly easily ESPECIALLY their limbs, since they're really just some wires (they all have the same limb type but k_ks r long you understand)

now how they handle immediate repairs ? first, almond milk . they make sure to carry it at all time at least to replenish some of their health . that doesn't fix the open wound though .

using for an example, lets say the trio fought a werewire out in the city . n it scuffed sweet/capn pretty badly . use anything as a makeshift bandage to hold what they can together . next, BOOK IT back to the shop or at least somewhere they can perform repairs . they're robots but they're also darkners, so they run on both machinery and dark magic .

now if it's k_k . that's a different story . k_k is much harder to carry back to the shop in a bind, so they'll usually go to the trash zone to find scrap to repair them with while the other retrieves tools from their shop, since the junk shop is almost right above the trash zone .

lastly, a lot of love . a lot of hugs and kisses happy that their partner is ok . while also being very gentle knowing they're still adjusting to repairs after being downed . a lot of love and support for their injured partner .

[ ❤️ || Sweet -> Revtrosity - you already knew how it sounded if you ever watched this video on youtube and heard his voice acting of sweet cap'n cakes. i tried to find any specific artists with song associations that fits their tone but so far i didn't got it right so i think from revtrosity seemed sm better and fitting bcuz he voice acted them really good imo. With Sweet sounding deep and their voice being raspy (and also quite robotic buzz sound with all the editing) was the perfect voice for them (he's the best ut/dr voice actor with hilarious humors screaming over his mic he was once my fav) ]

[ 💙 || Cap'n -> Lin-Manuel Miranda - oh boi let me tell you about this one..i LOVE associating Cap'n with lin-manuel ESPECIALLY from the netflix animated movie Vivo because those two characters reminded me alot of each other and because this talented kinkajou, Vivo was...a coward. but also passionate and funny (a bit more..exaggerated). Also did his very best to do the right thing for his friend because its the last thing he could do for him. really reminded me alot of cap'n with his bandmates so I BEG of you to try listening to some lin-Manuel songs especially the Hamilton. and imagine it'scap'en I luv it sm or else I'd drag your noodle legs into my hole-- /j/j]

[ 💚 || Cakes (k_k) -> Revtrosity- his voice acting of k_k did fit really well too so I'd choosed this one bcuz I dont know where to actually find the best voice tone for k_k (I also almost associated Cakes with Tanjiro Kamado for many reasons) also I do have an alternative voice hc from the song Role-playing Game by SoraMafuUraSaka with the member named MafuMafu almost sounded like k_k to me if you listen to their song parts. ]

SCC Halloween Week: Freeform

It was no secret that Cap'n had spent a LOT of time roaming the streets of Cyber City.  The boombox seemed to know every neighborhood like he'd lived there all his life, and especially like he'd spent every Halloween of his youth trick-or-treating there, with how he somehow seemed to know exactly where to go for the best candy.

His services didn't come cheap, however, and he held out his hand to his companions as they returned from their latest doorstep.  "Come on, pay up."

"Cap'n," K_K started as they passed a chocolate bar to him, which he wasted no time gobbling down in seconds, "why don't you just trick-or-treat with us?  It's a lot of fun!"

"Yeah!  Way more fun than havin' to pay your 'candy tax,'" Sweet sighed, passing him another candy bar and looking down the rest of the street.  Their bag still wasn't quite full, and with their hastily-made agreement to give the proceeds from every third building to Cap'n in exchange for his vast knowledge of the city, it likely wouldn't be for some time.

"Me?  Dress up in a silly outfit," he said, pointing out the frayed wires poking out of Sweet's scuffed case as part of his zombie costume, and the bolts and cheap wig on K_K's head, "and ring doorbells to beg for candy?  Please, I'm a businessman."

"You just have us do all that instead," K_K giggled.  They didn't mind Cap'n's candy tax as much as Sweet did -- there would be plenty to go around by the end of the night! -- and besides, dressing up and trick-or-treating was fun on its own.  They'd do it every day if there weren't only one day of the year it didn't get them strange looks, or chased off of porches with a broom like that one summer.

"Just do one with us, Cap'n?  Please?  I want someone to see your costume!"

Cap'n snickered.  "Costume?!"  He'd accompanied his bandmates in his usual hoodie and skinny jeans, the only addition being one of those paper masks from the concert the night before.  He literally looked no different from how he normally did.

"Yeah, your Cap'n costume!  I wish I'd thought of being you for Halloween too!"  Tugging on Cap'n's arm, the boombox reluctantly followed him to the next door, where the trio rang the bell and waited.  Eventually, an old Plugwoman opened it, the bowl in her hands overflowing with tasty treats which they gleefully helped themselves to.

The Plugwoman squinted up at Cap'n through thick glasses.  "Oh, you're another one of those kids who got the masks from the Trash Pile!"

"The...huh?"

"There's been so many of them tonight already.  I wonder who made all those masks, and whether they know how many people love them!"

Cap'n paused.  Behind his own mask, he blinked a couple of times, before finally pulling it off his face, replacing the sunglasses he'd been wearing over it.  "Well look no further!  Great resemblance, huh?"

The Plugwoman stared up at his face, adjusting her glasses, then belted out a laugh.  "Oh, you wore another one underneath!  That's very clever!"  She gave Cap'n another chocolate bar for the joke, and sent the three on their way, wishing them a very happy Halloween.

Glancing down the street at the other trick-or-treaters, Cap'n smiled -- about half of them were indeed wearing his masks, even over more conventional costumes.  Once again, he was a hit!  

Barely supporting himself as he leaned onto his knees, he spoke through laughter, "This is the best god damn thing we've ever done."

"Better than when we found that McDarknald's manager's house and egged it?"

"WAY better, K_K."  As they headed to the next house on the block, Cap'n caught them, warning that all they'd have were circus peanuts and apples, and recommending they head on to the next block instead, where a few of the residents were sure to have full-sized candy bars.

"Jackpot!"  Sweet held out their bag to receive one of those full bars, only to meet Cap'n's knowing gaze back on the sidewalk.  "What?"

"Candy tax!"  

"Come on, that was the second house!"

"We skipped the circus peanut house, remember?  That counted!"

"Oh, go make some more masks of your own face," Sweet shouted, picking up one laying on the street to throw at him.  It seemed that, as the night wound down, so did their popularity among the Darkner youth as well.  "...Man, I don't wanna be the one who has to clean all these up a second time."

As if on cue, a Werewire roughly tapped Cap'n's shoulder, motioning for the trio to face him.  At his side was a Poppup, wearing the same badge that designated them as a part of Queen's troops, specifically the division that policed the city for her, but unlike their companion they'd thought to at least put in a little effort for the occasion, slapping a bunch of star-shaped stickers onto their dolphin head, in the shape of some constellation or other.

"HOW ARE YOU GENTLEMEN?" they chirped, holding up one of Cap'n's masks, another one that'd been discarded by a trick-or-treater and left to float along the streets.

"Did you three make and distribute these around the city?" the Werewire signed with his long fingers, causing Cap'n to shudder, wishing he hadn't taken his off to lay claim to them.  "Do you know what the fine is for littering, especially all over the entire city?"

Raising his hands up to defend himself, Cap'n sputtered, "Yo, we didn't do any littering!  That was all those kids who wore 'em for their costumes!"

"We would rather track down three people than three thousand."  

Sighing, Cap'n shrugged, glancing to his bandmates for support, though they were just as taken aback by the entire situation as he was.  "Alright, ya got us.  What do we owe ya?"

"Normally the fine for littering is three thousand Dark Dollars.  However," he motioned to the stars on the Poppup's head, "given the holiday, Queen has decreed that fines may also be paid in candy.  Three large bags should do it."

Looking sadly down at their bags, the trio handed them over.  "We good now?"

"Yes.  You are free to go.  Be sure not to litter again."

"DONMAI, DONMAI," the Poppup giggled, turning to resume their rounds as they chowed down on a pouch of fruit snacks, and the instant the cops' backs were turned Sweet, Cap'n, and K_K all relished the chance to silently jeer and make faces after them.

Sweet couldn't do much aside from tugging at one side of their speaker, and instead turned to Cap'n.  "So, you...know any more good neighborhoods for candy?" Unfortunately, however, they'd pretty much canvassed the entire city, and one by one the streetlights dimmed.  "Or...maybe we could do something else tonight?  We could do a haunted house!"

"All we gotta do is go back to the shop," K_K replied, smiling, and the other two shivered.  "I heard the ghost again while you guys were sleeping.  I think they slimed our sound studio too."

"...We really gotta call somebody about that."

"Who we gonna call, Sweet?"

"I dunno.  Somebody.  Cap, you got any ideas?"

"Nah.  Let's just sleep on it.  If we can.  Those chains are loud."

I love SCC the second I saw them i knew they'd be my favorite characters, at least of chapter 2, and they are to this day. I always like characters that are always together, two characters or three character or whatever number. They are a team, a band, a family! Their individual personalities are really fun and I especially love K_K, he is very close to being my favorite character of the game. I think the way Sweet and Cap'n interact with K_K is really sweet and I love that they both admire him, and that K_K themself looks up to Sweet and Cap'n 🥺 They are found family to me that's how I see them

Also I love that the three of them use he/they pronouns I think they are the first utdr characters to do so and they are so cool hahah i do that (she/they in my case lol)

I really hope they have some fun scenes in the future, they are very very secondary characters, technically shopkeepers but they are outside the shop a lot so that's good (in the chapter 4 sneak peek they are outside as well so that's another good sign!). I know they aren't main characters but I'll be satisfied with a couple of fun scenes

In any case I just wanna address 2 things (but that Nochocolate post was super cool and a neat piece that I think does support this theory overall, thanks for that, for my followers I'll provide a summary at the end and how it helps)

First thing to address, the LV (Dark World LV to be specific) increase for Noelle upon changing titles, speaking honestly I think it's an oversight on the Devs' part as Kris, Susie, and Ralsei can all change titles in chapter 1 while their LV remains constant, so I will keep this in mind as it's an interesting point, I don't believe it's intentional, especially since Noelle doesn't gain any stats or the like with the title change (outside of the Snowgrave exclusive titles of course)

The second bit is over the theory I discussed on how I think it may be possible to LV up early if one's violent enough and I think that's an interesting conundrum of thresholds in Deltarune, basically how much of what does it take to do certain things, and I fully believe that ch 2 just doesn't have enough stuff in it for a feature like that to even be implemented, just not enough Darkners to make *Lost* before the chapter is over.

A good example for this would be the Music Shop, as Sweet, Cap'n, and K_K point out on any run that isn't All Recruits there just simply isn't enough people for them to justify opening up a shop while implying that if you recruit more Darkners later, you can unlock the Music shop separately from ch 2, Ralsei also talking about Castle Town getting bigger as we recruit more Darkners, which I'd imagine will also have separate thresholds that we can reach separately from the end of certain chapters.

So I personally believe that my idea, if it's the intention, has yet to be implemented especially because exploits are exploits and shouldn't be considered for what Toby and the gang has intended so I still see my take as an option, feel free to disagree

Now as for the Nochocolate post, it goes over the Dog Food in Alphys's lab which has 3 states

- *The bag is half-full. (no kills)

- *The bag is half-empty. (A kill or more)

- *The bag is half-empty. You remembered something funny. (All the Dogs in Snowdin killed + 21 kills total)

So I'm not gonna go over all of Nochocolate's insights, but what's important here is that (in terms of my theory) Frisk has to be close to the Middle LV's and killed all the dogs in order to remember something funny, presumably a morbid joke relating to the deaths of either one, or all, of the Canine Unit

I think this further supports the idea that around LV 7 remorse for killing is effectively nonexistent leading to LV 9's ever-iconic smile before fights as Frisk no longer feels bad for killing (on geno).

Okay so I originally wrote this on Discord so apologies for any jank

But I need to get out my mega LOVE theory for Deltarune somehow, and Discord is the only place I've wrote it down lol

Anyways what got me going was this here difference in stats

Both being a post-Snowgrave Kris, just one from the Light World and the other from the Dark World

And this discrepancy would be strange right? If both LV's stood for the same thing

Which I'd why I claim that they do not

Rather that the LV in the Light World still refers to the LOVE of UT

While the LV in the Dark Worlds stands more properly for a "Level" a way of gauging the amount of Experience the Fun Gang have

Doubly true as the Dark World stats measure nowhere "EXP" aka "Execution Points"

From what I can tell Level only goes up upon reaching certain HP values, as Noelle goes from Level 1 to Level 2 in the Dark World

Since Noelle "Levels up" upon finishing just one act of violence in the Dark World

So I think it'll be possible later on to Level up early if you're violent enough

Sorta opposite of how it worked in UT, where you needed to LOVE up to get HP

In Dark Worlds you need to get your HP up to Level up

But that’s a bit of a tangent; continuing on

With the ground rules laid out that LV and LV can exist synchronously the next thought in my ramblings was that I need some proof that Noelle will continue to be our main Puppet, to explain why this LV theory should be relevant

And on that front, I got several bits

Easiest for me to lay out here is that the Survey taker at the beginning of ch 1 has special dialogue if you name yourself after a majority of the party members

This includes: Kris, Susie, and Noelle

All 4 share the same reaction

Secondarily Noelle lays out herself in the hospital that she's gonna figure out what's going on with Kris, which means to me that she'll keep coming around Kris, even despite the coercion into murder

And lastly, Noelle’s crush on Susie has so much unmissable screentime that Chekov would shit his grave if there were no resolution to it

This established leaves the first 2 core tenents of my theory

1. LOVE exists

2. Noelle will be the sole Snowgraver as the game progresses

For the sake of it, let's tackle the ramifications of both of these in order, as 1 heavily leans into 2

1. LOVE as we know it in Undertale exists in some way form or fashion in Deltarune

Natural questions that raises

- Do Darkners count for EXP? Yes, I'd say so, given the inverse effect on how Levels contribute to HP compared to how Undertale's LOVE and HP work, and the fact Noelle gains HP faster than the rest of the Party when they commit violence I'd argue there's a secondary element increasing her vitality, that being her LOVE increasing

- If LOVE exists why isn't Noelle a complete psycho killer in the Light World? Because that's not how LOVE works, by sans's admission LV contributes to making it easier to hurt others, and easier to distance yourself, but never expresses that it creates a want to kill, although that does seem to be a side effect which I'll get into next section

Mechanics of LOVE across Undertale and Deltarune:

For most people who've played a neutral run of Undertale, you'll be remiss to note anything going on as you gain LV. As much as I love Frisk as the blank slate of a protagonist that they are, their lack of emotions makes it hard to tell what exact the differences are between an LV 3 individual and an LV 7 one, differences sans can tell, but we can't really

So then we have to look elsewhere, mainly the Genocide run and comparing characters who may have killed in UT to their murderless counterparts in Deltarune

- Early LV's 1-6

At this point a person has killed a bit, but is also where the effects of each individual LV is the most noticeable, as sans has unique dialog for every LV here

What this tells me is that your first kills change you the most compared to later kills

Also during this LV range we see Frisk start their way through Snowdin in a Geno run, where they skip puzzles without our input, and are generally quieter than even before

I call this part of the LV grind "Getting Colder" for many reasons, partially for the pun, but also how we see Frisk act much more distant, aka cold, towards their surroundings and walk through situations, giving of an energy of "I don't care, let me through"

Considering this is also the LV's you'd end the game at for killing just Toriel or Undyne (two impassable bosses without killing or their special sparing method) that general sentiment persists

For the sake of it, I also reference Gerson and Asgore, Gerson was in the War of Humans and Monsters and has intimate knowledge about human combat and abilities, and while it's canon that no human casualties were suffered through the whole War, I would not be surprised if Gerson had to put down a fellow monster or two during the chaos after the Barrier was first erected. Yet despite that idea, Gerson is still just a bubbly, slightly traumatized, old man in Waterfall telling me that you can work past Early LVs. Yet there's also Asgore, as of the time of me writing this the only character who has canonically (and confirmed to) taken the life of anything, and as of our time encountering him, he's distantly removed from the act he's doing, which is another murder. However I must mention that there's a lot of shit there for Asgore compared to Deltarune's Asgore that could lead to the state he's in beyond LOVE so take that with a grain of salt

- Middle LV's 7-14

This is where an interesting switch occurs, specifically at LV 9 but the larger grouping together sorta encompasses it all. This is where Frisk (yes Frisk I'll elaborate if I have to) begins to enjoy the act of killing, smiling before every encounter, and even reveling in the fear of others, such as when Frisk intimidates Monster Kid just before the Undying fight

Now above I talk about how wanting to kill isn't a symptom of LV, and I still believe that

While this seems to be contradicting evidence to that claim I don't think so, as I think it's around this point that one becomes so distant that the act of killing someone else doesn't invoke any feeling of remorse anymore

Where Frisk's enjoyment is derived from is their "Determination" as at the point they're smiling they've killed every monster they could find up to this point, so they're happy to "finish what they started" and also why the Smile goes away if you abort Geno at this point forward as that goal of eradication is gone

- High LV's 15-19

This is the grouping we know the least about, as the majority of these are Geno exclusive, CORE/Hotland exclusives no less which at this point the whole Underground is on lockdown so any unique traits from here are lost in translation, from best we can tell, anything shy of all kills isn't labeled as "True Evil" by MTT and LV 17 is labeled as "Bad at being evil" by sans

So perhaps there's some room for redemption at this point? Idk, sans doesn't think so at LV 19, but it's an interesting thought

- LV 20

This one gets a special mention just because of how everything goes down

The Mercy Button is gone

Frisk is able to make inputs without Player input

And at this LV it's possible to summon the Demon, a manifestation of the evils you caused and power you gained by pushing this world to its limits that quite literally has the power to attack the game box Undertale is played in

This demon is the single most powerful being we've encountered inside of UT/DR outside of maybe Asriel

Now, with everything LOVE-related established we can also use it as a symptom list to diagnose Noelle at where she's at and take a rough estimate as to how much LOVE a single Snowgrave run would allow for

And well, I won't run yall through the numbers so to speak but she's solidly in the Early LV's

She still has remorse for the deaths she did cause

But she's also able to distance herself from her actions there, could be grief but her interactions with her father on Snowgrave compared to a Main Route shows to me that she's a little more reserved, which also falls in line with Early LV symptoms

So what does that leave?

Well, as someone pointed out to me before, Noelle has some violent tendencies

They're reserved, but come out when say, Berdly also has a crush on Susie, or if it's encouraged (see what this whole post is about lol)

See also the theory that the damage at the beginning of the Cyber World was caused by Noelle, not Queen, and there's reason to see where things may go as Noelle breaches into the Middle LV's

I see her, like Frisk, enjoying the slaughter as things continue on

So to conclude my little LOVE Theory I see the rest of Deltarune going as such

1 more route of us manipulating Noelle into killing, she'll be far more resistive, but I know we'll break through, with the boss of that area that she kills (secret boss or another Lightner) the last we'll see of Noelle she'll have cracked a smile

Then from there on she'll easy, fights will break out just from her instigation, or from others more heroic trying to get in her way

By the end I think we'll have to fight her, and she'll kick our asses

Or we'll have to fight Kris

It's hard to know that far ahead

But using LOVE alone, that's how I see things going

I've never had pulp before so I'll take your word for it! I totally agree w/ Cakes liking artificial flavors. Their whole world is artificial when you think about it. (If we're taking this literally). But regardless! Artificial flavors are usually sweeter because of sweeteners! (Which are often different types that go by brand names). Anyway, I think it really fits Cakes' character! Especially because lemon drops and lemon candy are typically made with artificial flavors.

rushing to the door, a swatchling attempted to stop him . "excuse me, you need a -" before the swatchling could even finish their sentence, capn flashed his lanyard and card stating "EVENT STAFF" with his photo on it, smirking . the swatchling went silent, then nodded and went back to stage management .

as he ventured to his destination, he took in the sights of a show in preparation . tasque manager doing vocal warmups, swatchlings rushing around panicking and flocking around faulty equipment, and a guest from the newly rescued tv world testing out his sax . he almost thought about how that could've been him, but was quickly humbled by the mental reminder of his ever present stage fright .

finally, he made his way to those he was looking for . sweet stood by the stage entrance, hands and legs shaking as they gripped their sheet music, eye focused and taking in every small ink mark on the paper . k_k on the other hand fiddled with their drumsticks and "hi-hat" worriedly, the smile they kept permanently on shaking and breaking the more they fidgeted .

this would be their first performance since the music ban had been placed . worries were bound to rise, especially after not performing live for so long , opting to go underground instead .

"so how's the last minute performance prep ?" he asked as he leaned in between the two, making sweet yelp as they broke out of their perfection fueled study session, taking a relieved breath after realizing it was just capn . "great ! great ..... ! yeah, going .... going great ." k_k stuttered out, very obviously showing that, at least for them, it wasn't going great . k_k's smile began faltering .

capn's smile fell, now leaving a concerned expression . he contemplated for a second, before coming up with the perfect plan .

"hey," he started, "you both have been practicing vigorously since you got the letter from swatch that you'd be performing. sweet, i heard you practice so much i could say that i know the background vocals about as good as you do . and k_k, you had to learn an entirely new way to drum considering your choice of headwear . that's extremely impressive ."

he saw sweets shoulders fall slowly, their nerves loosening, and k_ks nervous fidgeting slowly cease. good, this is what he'd hope he'd accomplish . "you both know this performance like the back of your hands . you are so ready for this . those darkners are going to hear how good you both are and they're going to ROAR with applause and cheers . for you two ." he flicked sweet's top hat and k_ks hi-hat, rattling it . "you're not gonna do good . you're gonna do great . no, you're gonna do phenomenal ."

sweet's shaking had significantly gone down, now looking hopeful and confident, and k_k's genuine smile had returned, which always brought cap'n's back as well .

"5 minute warning you all ! 5 minutes until showtime !"

before sweet and k_k could process what the swatchling had just announced, capn held sweet's face and pulled them in for a kiss . after releasing sweet, he pulled k_k in by the shoulders and pulled it in for a kiss as well . both were left flustered, but excited and confident . "i gotta go back and close up the ticket booth . but i'll be in the second the show starts . good luck, both of you, i love you both so so much ." he waved, pulling his bandana over his face to hide his own blush . his plan was a success .

sweet attempted to recompose themselves, reorganizing their sheet music, straightening out their tux, while k_k stared at the door with a big lovestruck grin .

"he's so romantic ...."

sweet rolled their eye, "he's corny, that's what he is ."

still, sweet couldn't erase the bright blush nor their eye's smile from their face .

I've decided to break down some finer details for funsies and in case people missed 'em.

I was gonna say Tasque Manager got sick but then had the thought of it being an Ambyu-Lance employee instead, since that'd be really funny.

When Swatch is listing off three "NOs" he's referring to what happened in Color Café.

Rouxls is quivering like a leaf.

Now, for the "People Banned" list, oh boy.

First up, and the only one NOT in cursive... Jevil. Of course he was literally in prison, but Tasque Manager wrote the list and she has been shown numerous times to dislike clowns; especially Jevil.

Sweet, Cap'n and K_K were previously banned since they rebelled against Queen, but they're cool now.

Spamton copied Swatch's style and tried taking over the mansion. No he will not be unbanned.

The Hacker... should be obvious.

Trashy was previously banned because nobody liked them, but something seems to have changed.

Top Chef has been stated to have attempted to turn the Café into a second bakery. He was promptly kicked out.

"Weird-looking Ralsei(??)" is B.L. They think he's an impersonator and are very suspicious of him.

Castle Town Café
