I’ve always liked to think that the reason Carlisle bought Isle Esme in Brazil is not because he thought it would be ‘exotic’ and warm or whatever. But rather because Esme was part Latina and it was always a priority for her to be close to her culture. Also, if she understood Bella breaking her house’s window by throwing a box filled with cash in New Moon because she was furious that Edward was sending her money while he was gone, then we know Esme is totally behind throwing a chancla or two at the holy trinity that are Edward, Emmett, and Jasper when they are just too much.
