I've made posts about Earthspark Rodimus and Megatron having a tense relationship and having to work through it.

Now I flip it over and suggest the COMPLETE opposite.

Where Hot Rod/Rodimus shows up and is, well, himself and he and Megatron absolutely argue every moment they're together on every conceivable subject. The terrans and maltos are convinced Rodimus HATES Megatron and that Megatron is working with him so much in order to change his mind. It's not til the end that it's shown that the two are, to borrow a tvtrope, Vitriolic Best Buds and Rodimus is actually one of the autobots Megatron gets on the best with.

Just watched Ep 1 of Earthspark S2. And I'm furious.

Don't read this if you don't want spoilers. Or if you think the showrunners can still do no wrong, and are unprepared for the level of Incandescent Fury of which I am capable. But if you DO have spoilers for the whole season and understand my particular vibe, PLEASE read this and reblog with answers (but use the cut for the sake of my followers)...

Reasons why I'm mad:

A year goes by in which all of the stuff I was actually interested in presumably happened: dealing with GHOST, the Decepticons and Autobots cooperating, and also, Mo and Robby getting cool mech suits.

Then for no reason other than "Decepticons huh" the Decepticons apparently forgot their alliance, turned on Our Designated Good Guys (tm) and just randomly started trying to conquer and/or kill everything again. Or were they screwed over, yet again? I really hope so, not because I want them to suffer but because there needs to be a freaking reason why they turn on other Cybertronians when they are stuck on Earth. But I don't have a good feeling about it given the contemptuous attitudes displayed by Bee (as usual, because ES Bee is a fucking asshole) and Robby (disappointing, he wasn't like that before).

And we never did get to find out what the fuck was up with GHOST or why the Decepticons were all in jail (and no, "Decepticons huh" is not an acceptable reason--they have every reason to hate us.)

Breakdown is a terrible parent for no reason? BREAKDOWN?

The Chaos Terrans thing gives me the same willies that the Orcs in Tolkien (I am not a Tolkien fan) used to do. I am not comfortable with the eugenicist/ableist notion that people can be born corrupt and innately evil, especially not if it has something to do with HOW they were born.

Soooo... if you've finished the season (I know you've been posting a bit about it) is there any reason for me to continue?

Reasons I would continue:

Ravage continues to be basically the same Ravage I write, only much smaller.

RavWave (as a ship, not just platonic interaction, mostly because I would watch anything for that no matter how messed up)

Explanation that there actually is a reason why the Cons turned on everyone, and what that reason is. Did they want to put them back in jail? Did they want them to do forced labour? Did Megatron start whaling on Starscream again? I note Tara isn't around Con HQ, what does Tara know?

Quints are interesting and not just scary (the Quints in Cyberverse scared me more than many adult horror movie villains did, BUT they are also just kinda evil and mean and we have no idea why, which would not have been particularly interesting at all except for the fun of watching Hot Rod and Soundwave become the faction leaders while OP and Megatron were unable to be)

Chaos Terrans are not innately bad or do not need some mystical power of nuclear heteronormative family to make them good

The Decepticons get something out of the ending other than screwed

We find out more about Dot and Megs

Some Cons are good parents

More Tarantulas and Nightshade content

Hashtag continues to have a relationship with Starscream that affects the plot as it develops

We are actually told what happened during the year they missed

Reasons I would not continue:

Cons are just bad because cons are bad.

Ravage is Soundwave's daughter or pet or in some other way not actually a grown-ass adult Decepticon officer, making Soundwave a father who raises child soldiers or a guy who runs dogfights, which is not cute even if he is snatched af

(they don't have to be lovers though my shipping heart was pleased when their PDA in the deleted scenes embarrassed Starscream, but she has to be a Real Independent Person who could be someone's partner if not his)

Chaos Terrans are innately bad until "saved" by the Power of Love And the Nuclear Family (or just innately bad)

Emberstone continues to be Allspark Mark II so why even change the name?

Bee's incredible assholery is never called out (it's not funny when a starving person accidentally kills their starving teammate due to a mistake they made because they were starving)

Only Autobots and people who form nuclear families can be good parents

Everyone being friends with the cows goes to the PETA place

So it’s increasingly clear Hasbro views EarthSpark as old news, as the roll out for the TFONE toys has commenced.

And they look much better than most of the EarthSpark stuff, and look more fun.

The One Steps do use the same old seen over and over for Wheeljack, but the surprise is they went out of the way to retool it to give it a Cybertronian Vehicle Mode.

It’s a step up from ES Breakdown where they didn’t even try.

I like to think this is EarthSpark WildBreak anyway. Now we just need my boys Heatseeker and Slashmark recolored from Bumblebee & Swindle.

Anyhoo the big surprise is Airachnid, and I find it kinda hilarious this design looks like the daughter of Prime Arcee & the original Airachnid. It seems they can’t decide still if Airachnid has both a beast mode and a vehicle mode, as this toy has a spider mode (which I love) but not having a flying mode seems to betray the name AIRachnid. I’m not sure if she’s supposed to be an actual beast like Alpha Trion’s Lion mode or if she is some vaguely spider like camera drone like Shockwave’s more recent spider tank vehicle mode. Still if the next kids cartoon is based on One? Airachnid as one of the main Decepticons, please & thank you.

Another surprise is Sentinel Prime getting a toy, and that he’s a jet on top oh that.

Sentinel Primes tend to be ground based vehicles…

Especially if you include the Sentinel Zeta Primes…

Though the G1-IDW Sentinel has a spaceship mode so it’s not entirely unheard of.

The design for TFONE Sentinel reminds me more of IDW Nominus Prime though…

And Nominus was a snob interested more in doom posting and societal niceties, on top of flying Transformers in modern media being depicted as having superiority complexes over ground based Transformers, this may potentially suggest they basically wrote Nominus Prime but had to make him Sentinel to make Hasbro happy.

The next Sentinel I hope is TFA Sentinel as a triple changer like Octane: fighter jet and Optimus like truck, lol.

The same set of toys Sentinel belongs to includes future Optimus & Megatron.

It’s the battle scars that get me. They went the extra mile on certain details here, though the RiD15 fan in me thinks Steeljaw scratched him. Maybe Beast Mode Alpha Trion swiped him before dying.

The more unique toy is this Optimus one.

Sort of a spiritual successor to the earlier Evolution toys in WFC, where Orion and Hot Rod transform and combine with their trailers to become Optimus and Rodimus, this is a four changing toy. That’s pretty rare! And it’s kinda like Punch/Counterpunch too, which amuses me.

The main gimmick is Orion being flipped around to evolve into Optimus and evolve further into a sort of Super Mode. And it looks better than previous attempts like the Energon Bra Armor CV Optimus. Those Energon Bra toys clogged my local Ollie’s for awhile, ugh. Still this actually looks kinda cool and appealing to kids, which is more than can be said about the entirety of Cyberverse & EarthSpark. The prices remain the sticking point despite being far better toys however… So toy sales might not be that great because of prices… G3 Bakugan is tanking but kids are still getting the toys because they’re affordable compared to the mostly shelf warming EarthSpark and RotB toys. Hasbro comes off as having more confidence in One though, and it shows because these feel like the toys the Terrans should have, so we’ll see if that pays off.

Preceptor is Hot Rod's carrier but couldn't raise him since the government didn't let carrier and sire raise their youngs.

Baby Hot Rod was dropped of to Nyon, where he grew up. During the start of the war he joined the Autobots and Preceptor recognised him as his sparkling. Preceptor would spend time,take care,look after,feed and keep hod rod safe. Other Autobots thing that they are close friends. (Most likely chasing off potential bots that want to date Hot Rod) (Unknown to him his sparkling got close to a certain third in commend)

During the Quintessons attack Hot Rod and Soundwave got close, Preceptor finely realised it and still wanted to protect his child but decided to only observe from a far and be happy for his son. (But the moment something happens to his child and Soundwave is responsible he will take revenge)

(Also up to you if Preceptor tells Hit Rod that he is his carrier. I know the idea might be weird but I like the headcanon that Preceptor if Hot Rod's carrier.)

He held his happy little sparkling in his arms. Smiling down at him he never knew what love was, until he had his little one. He was so beautiful and the best thing in his life. He'd never loved anything more.

His sparkling cooed and his spark melted. Hearing footsteps behind him he looked over to see a group of guards standing by the door. He gave them a confused look pulling his sparkling closer.

"What do you want?"

"We're here for the sparkling."

His optics widened in horror and he pulled Hot Rod closer hiding him from view.

"I'm not going to let you take him."

"You know the rules."

They surrounded him and he fought them off with everything he had. Ignoring his injures he kept fighting. Even when they pinned him to the ground. Ripping his crying sparkling out of his arms.

"No please! Don't you take him! He needs me! I'm his carrier, he needs me! Please don't take him! I'll do anything.

He screamed reaching for his sparkling begging them to return his little one.

"Hot Rod!"

He desperately reached for his sparkling who was being taken away from him never to be seen again.

"This one has forgotten his place send him to the facility as a reminder.

"No let me go! Hot Rod!"

He screamed as they knocked him unconscious and dragged away.

Years later and he was delivering important datapads that Optimus needed to sign. In order for the science department to keep working.

When he doesn't find him in his office he sighed knowing he had no choice but to find him.

He looks around the base and someone told him to look outside. He found Optimus standing with Jazz the two of them waiting for the new recruit's to arrive. He didn't care and walked up to Optimus wanting the datapads signed when they show up.

He stayed back not wanting to get involved. Worried Optimus will assign some of them to the science department. Which means more people in danger of Wheeljacks explosions.

Watching the recruit's get off the bus his spark froze as he stared at a bright red mech with yellow and orange flames on his chest and beautiful familiar blue optics.

He almost collapsed where he stood staring at the bot in shock because it was his little one. His sparkling was alive.

As much as he was excited. He was also terrified. He knew how dangerous this war was and he didn't want him getting involved.

Even though he wanted to run over scoop him up and hold him he knew it wasn't possible. Hot Rod wouldn't remember him and probably thought he abandoned him. He knew it was for the best that he didn't talk to his sparkling even if it physically hurt. Tears fell and he quickly left going back to his lab where he shut himself inside.

Even though he promised himself he wasn't going to talk with his sparkling he couldn't stop himself. His spark demanded that he see his little one and make sure he was okay. He decided to watch from a distance making sure he was safe.

He learned that Hot Rod grew up on the streets of Nyon always struggling to survive. He felt his spark break for his little one especially because his home was gone. Destroyed by that monster Zeta Prime.

His sparkling liked sweet treats and could be impulsive at times. He could also be kind and was a caring friend who liked to help others. His favorite thing to do was draw and race. He was one of the fastest Autobots on base.

His two friends were Springer and Arcee who seemed nice enough. His sparkling was safe here and seemed happy which was good.

He still kept his distance even if it physically hurt. He wanted to hug his sparkling so badly, but he didn't want to make him uncomfortable.

Then one day after a bad fight. He found him sitting in the medbay's waiting room, staring off into the distance. Becoming alarmed he sat down next to him and scanned him for injuries.

"Are you okay? Do I need to get Ratchet?"

His sparkling looked so broken and he found himself wrapping a comforting arm around him.

"What's wrong?"

"Springer's hurt."

"Oh... Do you want to talk about it?"

Hot Rod shook his head tears in his optics. Realizing his sparkling needed a shoulder to cry on. He pulled him closer and let his sparkling cry. He held his little one and knew he couldn't stay away anymore.

Hot Rod also found himself unable to stay away. Because he started visiting him in the science hall. He'd bring him energon and ask about his latest project.

He couldn't be his carrier but at least he could be his friend. He knew other people in the science department were curious. Since frontliners usually didn't hang out with them. However he ignored them.

Whenever Hot Rod had a bad day he was always there as a shoulder to cry on or an audial to listen to. Sometimes Hot Rod would get distracted helping others and forget to eat or would wake up late and rush to his shift.

He started getting in the habit of making sure he ate wanting to take care of his little one. He'd wake him up in the mornings. If he realized he was running late. During parties he'd watch over him making sure he didn't drink too much or that he wasn't drugged. He'd protect his sparkling from unwanted advances and always made sure he got home safe. Leaving behind medication and energon to help with his hangover.

He world work on projects that protected frontliners especially Hot Rod. He learned everything he could about his outlier and how to help with it. Wanting his little one to be as safe as possible.

When he was on the front lines using his sniper rifle. He would make sure he was protected. Shooting any Decepticon that dared get too close.

Whenever Hot Rod had a race he always managed to go wanting to support him.

Everyone else thought of them as friends. Only he knew the truth and as much as it pained him he continued hiding his secret from Hot Rod.

He remembered one time he'd gotten badly injured. The Decepticon who hurt him didn't walk off that battlefield having been shot dead.

They almost had to sedate him when he rushed to his side, wanting to make sure he was okay. Frantically trying to call out for his sparkling tears falling. As his whole body trembled with fear, scared he'd loose him.

He was there the entire time he recovered never leaving his side. He knew at times he could be overbearing but he was worried.

When people took interest in his son he always scared them away. He knew what they wanted from him and it wasn't to settle down and have a relationship. They saw his sparkling as a quick fuck and it filled him with rage. He always found a way to steer them away from his little one. Helping them realize why it was a bad idea to mess with his sparkling.

When the Autobots were fighting against the Decepticons, trying to put the Allspark back in it's rightful place. He'd gotten separated and it was during that time, the worst thing that had ever happened to him happened.

His sparkling had been fighting Drift now Deadlock and had sacrificed himself. He'd been devastated when he found out and had broken down blaming himself. He was a horrible carrier who couldn't protect his sparkling.

He'd gone to the place Hot Rod had died looking for his body except he never found it. Which crushed him even more because he couldn't even bring him home. The most he could do was set up a little memorial where he died. Visiting it every day as he felt grief was over him.

After that it was all a blurr until the Quentessons invasion. He'd managed to free himself from the loop. Feeling lost he'd found his way to Maccadams. Although he had no idea how he was going to free everyone else.

He felt like a mess. Every night he had nightmares about his sparklings death and every day was it's own nightmare.

He missed his sparkling every day and blamed himself for being a horrible creater who failed him. Sometimes when his thoughts became truly dark he'd think about joining him.

Then a miracle happened and he found out his sparkling was alive. He survived the toxic energon and the two of them were reunited.

He'd broken down crying. Cradling his sparkling in his arms and he almost spilled his secret right then and there.

He stayed close to his sparkling worried about him getting hurt again. He was so happy he was alive and his sparkling helped him find the strength to free everyone else.

He'd been so busy with everything going on. He didn't notice the blooming relationship between Hot Rod and Soundwave. The two of them hiding their growing feelings. By pretending they were still enemies forced to work together.

It wasn't until Cybertron was split up and Hot Rod was left alone that it all came out. He'd found his sparkling sobbing uncontrollably looking spark broken. He comforted his little one listening as he revealed his relationship with Soundwave. He felt angry that the Decepticon broke his spark and planned on getting revenge.

He was going to suffer for making his sparkling cry and using him. He should have realized what was happening and stopped him before he could break his little one's spark. Although he wanted to march over there and punch Soundwave in the face. He couldn't leave Hot Rod alone in this state.

"Why am I so ugly?"

"You are not ugly. You are anything but. Hot Rod you are perfect in every way and it's Soundwave's fault for being too dumb to realize that."

"He's not dumb. He just realized what everyone else already knew. That I'm unlovable and it would be better to just leave me to rot."

"That's not true."

"Yes it is. Everyone knows it, even my own carrier."

His sparkling sobbed and he felt his spark break.

"That's not true. Your carrier loves you very much."

"Then why was I abandoned? Why did they leave me alone in Nyon? I suffered for years struggling to survive all alone."

"I'm so sorry Hot Rod."

"It's not your fault. I don't know why you want to associate with someone as pathetic as me."

"Hot Rod."

He hesitated scared of how his little one would react. Worried he'd hate him for not fighting hard enough. For allowing them to take his sparkling away from him.

"You're not a failure... I am."

"What?"

Hot Rod looked up at him in shock.

"How can you say that?"

"Because I'm your carrier. I wanted you so badly Hot Rod. I don't want you to ever forget how much I loved you."

He felt tears fall as he talked.

"They stole you from me. Ripped you out of my arms and took you away from me. I never saw you again and for a long time I thought you were dead. Then you joined the Autobots and I just knew..."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I was scared. I didn't think you'd want anything to do with me and I was weak. I didn't want to loose you again so I became your friend. That way I could stay in your life."

He was shocked when Hot Rod hugged him.

"I love you."

He cried.

"I don't deserve it."

"You did everything you could. You've always been by my side since I joined the Autobots. Looking out for me just like a carrier."

He pulled his sparkling close and the two of them hugged and cried. Eventually Hot Rod yawned looking exhausted. He picked him up and carried him to bed.

"I love you."

He kissed his forehead as he tucked him in.

"I love you too."

Hot Rod yawned curling up in his bed and falling asleep. Once he was sure his sparkling wouldn't wake. He planned his revenge. Soundwave was going to suffer for hurting his sparkling he'd make sure of it.

Starscream wasn't always a character I liked, but as I got back into Transformers and watched more series, I found myself liking his lil shit energy quite a lot. ES Starscream does deserve a proper redemption and some lovin <3

I'd love to answer! I am a simple guy, and across all continuities my favorite tends to be Bumblebee! The live actions and ES Bee are my favorite iterations! I'd love to see more Hot Rod/Rodimus! He was technically my first favorite Transformer and has a special place in my heart.

I also always love to see Soundwave in different continuties! Favorite decepticon and just has one of the coolest concepts ever imo.

Oh right that post!

Idk i thought two arcees that are slightly different but ultimately also the same character would be interesting because like. That's an alternate/future version of base Earthspark Arcee. It's also because Arcee was part of Rodimus's little squad in g1, but also she's already part of the earthspark autobots on earth. Though I wasn't sure so that's why I said the two arcees thing was optional

Now Rodimus that's more concrete, when he's interacting with the autobots plus Megatron he's more like g1 Rodimus in that "well he's definitely a leader but he's a bit young for it and new at it" vibe, and I think Megatron and Prowl are definitely suspicious of him and this entire situation (goddamn! A situation where they agree on something! How rare!) because there's definitely things this Rodimus isn't telling them (who makes the first connection between this Rodimus and the autobot Hot Rod?) (Or is that immediate?)

Now, I'm thinking he's got a more sort of older adult brother type dynamic with the kids, maybe?? Or at least eventually. At first he's pretty much a stranger, an ally sure but someone they don't know.

There are multiple ways this version of Rodimus can interact with decepticons (including Megatron...), and some of them depend on what makes his timeline different than the main earthspark timeline. I'm thinking though in general the interactions between the mecha from Rodimus's timeline and the main earthspark timeline decepticons are rough. (especially with the whole Galvatron thing...)

What little I know about G1 Rodimus is a big reference here, but so are elements from characters like tfa Optimus, rid15 Bumblebee, and Cyberverse Hot Rod. I need to watch g1 s3 still so there is improvement I can make on this idea.

The corner of his tongue sticks out of his mouth as he focuses on making a rose out of icing. The icing is beige; it looks like a smushed sandcastle. "Video kept saying I needed dowel rods but didn't say what for. First two collapsed; third one burned 'cause the oven got too hot. Now I've got what's supposed to be a super quick buttercream frosting recipe made out of ice cream, but it keeps going to mush whenever I try to pipe it on. Don't even got the camera rolling anymore, the whole thing is shit. Don't touch the strawberry roses." Roy knows there are metal tips that go on the end of the icing bags to make it look nice, but the state of his kitchen says they're way passed that exit and it's best to let this course veer over the cliff.

Universo Alterno de Transformers Earthspark: Warlord Twitch y Thrash Prime.

Los Quintessons invaden la tierra, prácticamente comienza una guerra, empezando a devastar todo dando paso al fin del mundo que se llevaría a los humanos y varios soldados y compañeros cybertronianos, la familia Malto muere al sufrir las consecuencias del paso del tiempo pero los Malto bots hicieron todo por ellos para cuidarlos, Twitch siempre los atendería hasta el final, Nightshade se lo tomaría de manera madura aunque pueda afectarle profundamente más adelante, Hashtag al principio no quiso tomarlo en serio y lo ignoro pero realmente estuvo ahí para ellos aunque se alejaría después, Thrash pasaría por las 5 etapas, negación, ira, negociación, tristeza y aceptación por último Jawbreaker se lo tomaría peor pero tendría que recuperarse con el consuelo de los demás.

En algún momento los humanos intentaron hacer "cosas" en la guerra y bueno, se descontrolaron lo suficiente como para que eligieran huir en lugar de luchar. Entonces, los humanos (o criaturas similares a los humanos) que quedan están en su mayoría escondidos de la guerra, así que los jóvenes terrícolas no saben mucho, si es que saben algo, sobre los humanos.

Twitch tras esto encontraría la lógica de que si lo controla todo, podrá protegerte todo incluyendo a todos, llegando a deslizarse lentamente hasta encontrarse y encerrarse en un espiral de locura lleno de mentiras autocomplacientes mientras alimenta su propia ilusión de que esta situación está bien, ella está bien, esto está bien, ella tiene toda la razón en su proceso de pensamiento, nada de esta situación es preocupante, volviéndose insensible pero en el fondo le afecta bastante fuerte pero lo oculta e ignora. Tomando el camino de Megatron reinicia la guerra formando líder de los Decepticons con Skywarp, Nova storm, Frenzy y demás, Hashtag está encerrada por Twitch para que se le una, mientras Starscream intenta liberarla aunque quede encerrado sintiéndose traicionado por Novastorm y Skywarp, no está contento y siente que lo han reemplazado por Arcee, Skywarp ha debatido hablar sobre el tema con Starscream, pero ella no lo hará porque sabe que él no la escuchará.

Optimus moribundo se sacrificaría para poner a Megatron, Elita y Bumblebee en éxtasis y protegerlos. Y en sus últimos momentos le entrego la matriz a Thrash convirtiendose en Terus Prime, aunque es solo un niño con una enorme responsabilidad y carga, Drift y Ratchet llegan uniéndose y este último hará que Jawbreaker lo ayude en la enfermería para ayudarlo a concentrar su energía ansiosa pero se uniría a Terus y apoyaría con los demás Autobots.

Nightshade está desaparecido para los demás, pero realmente no quiere formar parte del conflicto y trata de proteger a los demás y neutrales, quiere intentar inventar en paz pero no parece que los demás colaboren como Twitch que desea capturarlo y dándose cuenta más temprano que tarde que no se puede inventar la paz, se convierte en el guardian de la Emberstone y con las camaras de éxtasis del trío. Hay noches en las que se sienta frente a los tres robots en éxtasis y les cuenta lo que está sucediendo y, a veces, simplemente miran a Megatron y se preguntan qué pensaría sobre esta situación.

Tarántulas y Prowl se unen por un tiempo pero Tarántulas oculta que realmente es un decepticon y no un neutral, al descubrirlo Prowl se aleja y se mantienen separados un tiempo hasta que tengan que resolver las cosas, Arcee simpatiza y ve que es mejor seguir el camino de Twitch uniéndose a ella, mientras Swindle se va con los bots, Wheeljack está tan angustiado que se unió a Twitch para intentar ayudarla, pero está con Shockwave y no hay mucho que pueda hacer excepto sentirse culpable y verla por ello todo el tiempo. Se pone peor cuando aparece Bulkhead, mientras Shockwave intenta manipular los eventos a su favor pero todo esta completamente desorganizado intentando decidirse en donde seria beneficiadonado, Breakdown no está bien, Bumblebee se ha ido, lo está guiando un niño y no le gusta Bulkhead aunque Jawbreaker es muy dulce. Tiene mucha tensión con los autobots pero lucha por lo que sabe que Bumblebee habría creído.

Cuando Prowl encuentra a Nightshade, pueden tener una conversación y mientras Prowl busca a Tarántulas, está dispuesto a hablar con Nightshade quien recibe actualizaciones de la guerra y Prowl respeta que estén ayudando y protegiendo a los neutrales, esta guerra no es para todos. Finalmente, Prowl se va con un acertijo que se supone que lo ayudará a encontrar a Tarántulas. Cuando se va, Nightshade le envía un mensaje a Tarántulas para decirle que Prowl está llegando.

La primera oleada de nuevos Terranos fue causada por un grupo de adolescentes que exploraban el bosque y se toparon con ella. Sin embargo, nadie está muy seguro de la segunda oleada. Nightshade tiene teorías, pero no se puede probar nada. Siendo Hot Rod con Terus, Smokescreen teniendo como mentores a Cliffjumper y Drift, pero principalmente a Cliffjumper. y First Aid como enfermero del lado de los autobots, con Slipstream y Cyclonus Terranos del lado de los decepticons, Slipstream compartiría una curiosidad con Starscream pero al intentar hablar solo la ignora o responde con tres palabras haciéndola enojar hasta gritar para luego irse siendo como un ciclo, Brainstorm es un Terran pero solo es un agente doble para que Shockwave y Wheeljack puedan guiarlo. Le gusta más el apoyo emocional de los Autobots, pero le encanta la guía que recibe de Shockwave y Wheeljack con los Decepticons, una vez que se descubre que Brainstorm es un espía de ambos bandos, se escapa y logra encontrar a Tarántulas y, finalmente, cuando Prowl también lo encuentra, surge una situación muy incómoda: "¿Cómo terminaste con un niño?" y Tarántulas dice: "Él no es mi hijo", diría que Brainstorm ha adoptado por sorpresa a Tarántulas, el niño no se va a ir.

Twitch tomaría a los Terran Mirage como el hermano mayor y Blades el menor como sus hijos siendo su mentora, Mirage pregunta sobre los humanos y Twitch le contará sobre sus dos hermanos y padres humanos. Ella es muy gentil al respecto, pero le recuerda a Mirage que parte de la guerra es vengarse de sus hermanos que fallecieron, a los dos no se les permitió acercarse a las celdas, a Slipstream y Cyclonus se les dio rienda suelta aunque Cyclonus y Slipstream tienen reglas diferentes a las de Mirage y Blades y eso se debe a que Twitch no quería que Hashtag o Starscream los convencieran de traicionarla.

Megatron se despierta primero, fue un accidente, los decepticons se estaban acercando y Nightshade es un científico; su trabajo es pensar en las variables y preguntarse qué sucedería, excepto que no pueden probarlo y tienen miedo de lo que podría suceder. Lo que sucederá. Lo que está sucediendo. Terus está angustiado cuando después de tanto tiempo recibe un mensaje para él y los otros Autobots de Nightshade de que Megatron está de regreso. Está tan preocupado de que Megatron se alíe con Twitch o que Megatron muera con él y envíe a Twitch más abajo en su espiral porque le guste o no, esa es su hermana.

Cuando Terus finalmente ve a Nightshade nuevamente, se entusiasma, pero Nightshade no lo reconoce al principio y se alejan cuando él va a abrazarlos. Una vez que Terus explica que él es Thrash, Nightshade se siente un poco más cómodo, pero no mucho, y Megatron se enoja porque sabe que Optimus no habría elegido a Thrash a una edad tan joven a menos que no tuviera otra opción, fue bueno en mantener todas sus emociones bajo control durante la explicación de Nightshade. Es cuando realmente ve el efecto de la guerra y mira a Twitch que todo se vuelve real y finalmente se derrumba mientras Terus va a buscar a Optimus sin que Megatron y Elita lo sepan, da suficiente información pero sigue siendo vaga. Cuando Optimus regresa se ve mal, está todo raspado, aunque no sangra, muchas de esas abolladuras se ven bastante desagradables y definitivamente hay algunas cicatrices nuevas. Megatron está igualmente enojado y feliz de verlo y cuando aparece por primera vez, Elita estaba más enojada que feliz, pero lo perdonó (eventualmente).

Una vez que terminan las guerras, Wheeljack ni siquiera puede mirar a algunos de los autobots y se siente muy mal. Twitch sigue siendo el mentor de Mirage y Blades. Blades se ha encariñado con ella y le teme a la mayoría de los otros robots. Para Mirage, ella es solo su hermana mayor/mentora, siempre ha estado ahí y le gustaría que siguiera siendo así. La primera víctima real fue Swindle, había estado luchando contra los nuevos Bots cuando se dio cuenta de que Tero era Thrash y cuando fue a los lados de Arcee y Novastorm le dispararon y matándolo casi instantáneamente, la muerte de Swindles arruinó a Tero, nunca volvió a ser el mismo después de eso, se volvió más ansioso y deprimido después de eso. Hashtag nunca perdonará a Twitch por lo que pasó mientras estuvo presa. Bumblebee y Breakdown se reencuentran después de la guerra.

Hot Rod está feliz de volver a ver a Twitch una vez que termina la guerra y está encantado de conocer a Blades y Mirage. Terminan llevándose muy bien, Mirage y Hot Rod ayudan a sacar a Blades de su caparazón. Brainstorm ama a sus tres padres científicos y a su nuevo padre adoptivo, Prowl, quien no estuvo de acuerdo con esto, solo quería volver con Tarántulas mientras Breakdown se lleva bien con Mirage, Smokescreen y Hot Rod y está orgulloso de tomarlos bajo su protección y demostrarle a Bumblebee que él también puede ser bueno con los niños y un buen mentor.

Algo curioso que me invente yo es que Twitch debería llevar el titulo de Warbird tal como Megatron lleva el título de Warlord pero sin copiarle.

So the biggest complaint about the EarthSpark toy line hands down has been most of the toys being crude repaints of Cyberverse toys, and Cyberverse’s toys didn’t sell well to begin with, so I’m not sure why they’re trying to sneak them into EarthSpark…. Still the current hullabaloo is the recently revealed ES Prowl…

But bizarrely, Prowl is a repaint of CV Hot Rod, rather than just being a transplant of CV Prowl like ES Shockwave was. I can appreciate Hasbro attempting a different approach, but this really would’ve been better being an ES version of TFP Smokescreen

Thinking about the lack of proper toy villains, I’m actually floored they didn’t repaint/retool the CV Scraplets into Arachnamechs.

It would be perfect army building fodder to compliment the BAF Mandroid after all.

For that matter, I’m also sorta shocked they didn’t play up the idea of Mandroid being his own faction, by controlling other Transformers. You could easily have stamped his Arachnimech faction logo on repainted CV Skullcruncher, (preferably new toys of) the Insecticons, (new toys of) the Constructicons, CV Gnaw and CV Sky-Byte (to represent his later Sharkitcon minions) among others to have a proper villain faction for kids to Roleplay with with their Autobot and Terran toys.

Go the extra mile and have special Arachnimech accessories that become weapons like Battle Masters/Armorizers to clip on to Mandroid aligned Transformers.

No I’m not letting this go. Why Mandroid didn’t have scorpion robots for better battle efficiency I’ll never know.

You could even have a cassette scorpion type Arachnimech, which a scorpion cassette was being considered back in MicroChange and G1.

I suppose in this instance you could have Blaster (or Twincast or Soundblaster) be “Robo-Smashed” to explain a cassette in the ranks toy wise.

Anyway the grand jewel of the toyline would be a Scorponok retool designed to be a giant scorpion Arachnimech that Transforms, with Mandroid forming the head. (or if not that, having a compartment the BAF Mandroid can fit in so he’s piloting it).

Basically being somewhere between Zazorigun from Goldran and Double Punch, as well as making a more fitting final boss than a Howl’s Moving Castle reference.

Hi roddy, hi Illy! (thats illusion right?) how's life on the ark as the 2 youngest autobots?

Hot Rod- Illy is in phy-si-cal the-ra-py most days, and i keep them com-pa-ny! Andy and Chippy sometimes join us! Ratchet as to help us get on to a berth. Im still little and Andy and Chip use wheelchairs! Andy only uses them sometimes. Sometimes she uses a cane, like Illy!

Illusion- Ratchet says i need to do physcal the-ra-py or i might lose funtion in my joints. It was scary at first, because I didn't know anyone here, my creators would keep me com-pa-ny, but since they are busy with other things now, and Roddy and Andy and Chip are my friends, now, they keep me com-pa-ny.

Bumblebee- I'm glad you guys are sounding things out. I know the long words can be a bit difficult, but you'll get them!

Illusion- Thank you Bububee.

Bumblebee- So close.

Hot Rod- Oh!! the best part, we get to play all day!

Bumblebee- No you don't. You still have classes, you just choose not to pay attention.

Hot Rod- It's so boring though! and I hate having to sit still for so long! Illy agrees with me!
