WELL... mostly :P He would try to break into the bags of cat food if I left them out, they all looked like someone had given them a good turn with a machine gun. But now that it’s in a tin he doesn’t seem to care as much (I suspect he enjoyed chewing on the plastic as much as anything else tbh).

For the OC game! My Helga Cadash (formerly tabletop OC) is a Reaver and older inquisitor. They fuss over people around them & try to make people feel comfortable & safe, but sometimes get overwhelming w/ it. Feels Too Old For This Shit™. Would actually be nice to Sera & very supportive. Yeets themself directly at dragons, makes dad jokes & has more romance novels than Cassandra. Easily manipulated by small children & cute animals. Got nicknamed Red Mist while w/ the Carta; they hate that title.

I’ll do this for Luwalhati!

Lu would be very respectful towards them because was taught to always respect people older than her. They’d have to put her in her place sometimes probably because Lu tends to have a stick up her ass and is a bit cruel. She’s also pretty hot-headed. Lu hardly ever meets dwarves and also she’s a nerd and likes to learn new things. She’d probably ask Helga about the Carta and being a dwarf (in a respectful way ofc) so she could learn about the culture. If they were in combat, Lu would probably get a little worried about them yeeting themself at dragons.

7: Do they believe the Chantry functions as it is? What would they change?

Rasha thinks the Chantry is wildly outdated and needs to either be removed or radically changed. Their pro-human stance and hypocritical view of other beliefs (assuming they choose to acknowledge them) irks her to no end, and she has no love for the organization. 

16: Did your Inquisitor let the Inquisition remain or did they disband it?

Rasha allowed the Inquisition remain, if only because they need a wider net with which to search for Solas. She also didn’t feel that disbanding the Inquisition was the right choice, given how much good it had done, though leaving it in the hands of the Chantry (even if they were Leliana’s hands) left a bad taste in her mouth.

21: Which person did they flirt with for the first time? How did their relationship with that person evolve?

Initially, she flirted with Solas and the Iron Bull. Solas became more of a friend and advisor as time passed, Bull a good friend and sparring partner. Had she not ultimately been so enamored with a certain Commander, she and Bull probably would’ve enjoyed the more physical nature of their relationship as well, but her heart had other plans.

36: Which part of Thedas does your Inquisitor enjoy the most venturing to? Which area would they rather avoid?

The Emerald Graves both fascinate and break Rasha’s heart, as there’s so much history there, along with a reminder of everything her people have lost. She appreciates the quiet, the greenery, and the reminder that the elves didn’t always live as second class citizens. Her least favorite area is the Hissing Wastes. Too much sand. She feels like she winds up chafing in her armor for weeks after they visit.

All of our characters are a little bit us, right? But definitely Adan.

The DM of the game for Table Top was the creator of the game, not a writer of the franchise. He….does not know a lot of the nuance of lore so if you like the ins and outs of DA and it’s complexity the tabletop game is sadly one/two dimensional imo.

Okay, but why the hell would you make a tabletop game based on a game/franchise that you don’t even know that well??? Next up: I’m gonna make a tabletop game based on Star Trek bc I saw that one movie once and can totally do it justice now

Let’s see what the companions and advisers (I couldn’t resist once I got started) have to say about Ayelet!

Blackwall- The Inquisitor seems to fumble through most of her goals, but at least she’s got conviction. She tries to fix the world, and we can ask for no less, especially from someone that didn’t ask for a magic hand and a political organization. She’s been there for me, forgiven when others wouldn’t even speak to me. I respect the girl.

Cassandra- The Herald is feisty, unexpected for a Dalish. She seems to hold little regard for decorum. There have been… instances of discomfort for our guests at Skyhold. Ayelet is not a fan of their badgering and she makes that known to them. But it’s that spirit that makes her strong and the leader we need. She cares deeply about helping others, even if not in the name of the Maker.

Cole- Sore and sensitive, not hard and harsh. Healing, but slow, like tides over sand. She helps, like me, grace and wood and steel. This family, the hope of the People, pull her out of the muddled stupor. No longer lush like wine, but like mother’s curls, a crown she wears with pride.

Cullen- The Inquisitor is reckless in some of her choices, too trusting of magic considering her past. I have urged more caution, but she seems firm in her stance. She’s an excellent chess competitor, though I usually outmatch her. It’s nice to see her yield responsibilities and relax. We could all use a bit more of that.

Dorian- My friend Yel has been the best part of my time in this backwater. I’ve sharpened her reading skills in the common tongue, and taught her some Tevine. She’s taught me a good bit of elvhen, and opened my eyes to injustices my society had normalized. Sometimes she even cares about my ramblings on magical theory - but only sometimes. What more can you expect from an archer?

The Iron Bull- Yel is fun, and she can hold her drink. But she can be soft with some of these assholes. I see the point sometimes; others, I’m not so sure. She’s a good friend though, helped keep me sane after the Storm Coast incident. And her hips don’t look elven. Baldy knows what I’m talking about, I see him staring.

Josephine- Inquisitor Lavellan has been a passion project for me. Nobles that visit the fortress soon find that I’ve embellished the softer parts of her personality. She’s not unkind, but rather annoyed at the public’s perception of her. I hate that this life isn’t what she wanted, but would it kill her to behave in front of the guests?!

Leliana- I’m pleased to have another around so gifted in the arts of stealth and shadow. Ayelet loves the sunlight, but she comes alive at night, when she can truly put her talents to use. Though inexperienced with running an organization of this size - or any organization for that matter - she has strong opinions. She’s made me see that vengeance isn’t the only recompense, and that I can strive to be better.

Sera- Can’t decide if that one’s got her head up her own arse or not. Sometimes she’s fun, and rude *giggles*. But she’s elfy, right. Still, she looks out for me and mine. Put an arrow through a baddie or three to save my arse. It’s alright, at least she’s not magic.

Solas- Ayelet is… infuriating, at times. She challenges my advice at almost every turn, but at least she thinks to ask it. Ma vhe- I mean, the Inquisitor could be more careful during battle. For a ranged fighter, she often rushes into the thick of things, causing me to expend an excess of mana on barriers to keep her safe. She would be an unfathomable loss. And her hair smells like honeysuckle - when she walks through the rotunda, of course.

Varric- I’ve started calling that one Ivy - she grows on you. She’s a sweet, well meaning kid… just don’t call her ‘kid.’ Yel’s got spunk, and deadly aim. We, uh, have a game going. Who can take the most Red Templars down each time we go out. I’m ashamed to say Bianca and I are losing.

Vivienne- For a Dalish elf, Ayelet is positively edgy. You should have seen what the girl wore to Halamshiral. I’ve never seen so many clutched pearls at court! It was entertaining, to say the least. I do wish the dear was more sensible on the subject of the Circles. Thedas isn’t ready for that level of change, but Ayelet seems intent on pushing forward with this agenda.
