Problem solving and decision making is the mental process that an individual goes through to discover, analyze and solve the problem. It includes all the stages right from discovering the problem, understanding it, organizing information, forming a strategy and allocating resources to solve the problem and finally evaluate the solution to identify whether it is the best possible solution for the given scenario.
In order to completely utilize the problem-solving skill, an individual requires a few fundamental attributes and competencies such as initiative, creativity, resourcefulness, analytical thinking, results-orientation and determination.
There are three types of problem-solving questions
1) Analytical problem solving
Analytical problem-solving questions require the individual to be objective during the process of finding the solution. It starts from formulating a hypothesis and reasoning out the hypotheses to find the solution. It does require one to separate emotions from the problem since objectivity and the use of logic is of prime importance.
2) Technical problem solving
Technical problem solving involves understanding every facet of the problem in order to follow a series of established steps or a process in order to arrive at the solution. Technical problem-solving questions will be specific to the area of expertise of the individual or the ore area that the role requires knowledge about.
3) Situational/Behavioral problem solving
Situational problem-solving involves assessing all the factors in a scenario that contribute to the problem and finding a solution that handles all the factors.
Situational problem-solving questions are usually like tell me a situation where you used your problem-solving skills to find an appropriate solution, tell me about a problem that you solved with a unique approach, tell me a time when you found a need and went out of your way to find a solution, tell me about a time when you anticipated an issue and devised preventative methods to avoid it.
Importance of Problem-Solving in the Workplace
The way in which the question to the problem is phrased highly influences the way it is received, perceived and solved. Organizations need to keep this mind when they use problem solving questions to assess the problem-solving ability of an individual. There have been instances when there is low clarity in the problem statement, due to which interviewers assume that the candidate does not have good enough comprehension, which is one of the foundational requirements for problem-solving. It is a missed opportunity to hold onto talent if that occurred during the make-or-break question.
Problem solving and decision making questions asses an individual’s ability to contribute to problem-solving processes that occur at the workplace. This can be applied at the technical level or even at a behavioral level. Even members of the HR team must be efficient problem solvers if they are to accurately identify the issues that the employees face at the workplace and devise solutions that address them within the organizational context.
If an individual shows an inclination towards problem-solving, it indicates that they could be developed into leaders within the organization since problem solving is the essence of what leaders or managers do in the business. My critique of cultural anthropology and academic transmisogyny, "The Third Sex", will be published in a few days. Here's the introduction.
This Machine Builds Fascists
Consider a mechanism whose sole function is to classify all inputs it receives as one of two categories: One and Zero. The inputs, it must be said, vary greatly in temperament, expression, embodiment, internality, and so on, but that isn’t as much of a hurdle for the machine as it seems. It has been programmed with a few simple lines of code that enable it to differentiate between Ones and Zeroes within acceptable margins of tolerance. Ones tend to look and behave like this, Zeroes tend to be like that. These truisms are crude, simplistic, and even reductive, true, but they work. As such, the machine chugs on, happily reducing complex inputs to a blunt binary classification, its delivery-day code having been deemed “good enough”.
Of course, there is still the matter of how the machine should behave when its schema fails, when it is presented with inputs that do indeed prove to be too ambiguous to easily classify. For however high the correlation between traits, sometimes a specimen that simply defies easy categorization will confound its decision-making, often enough to pose a problem. Does the code need to be updated? Almost certainly, but legacy code is a stubborn thing, mired in dependencies and versioning faff, deeply resistant to the most perfunctory of edits. Too many now rely on this iteration of the machine, on this particular instantiation of its logic, and it is almost universally agreed that any changes are best handled downstream—at least, among those with the power to change it.
The machine and its users are thus forced to consider: In the case of an “error”, a “mistake”, so to speak, is it better to classify something as a One or a Zero?
Well, that’s an easy enough decision. The Ones, you see, are quite important, are believed to play a rather critical role in the affairs the machine oversees. The Zeroes … sure, they’re certainly important too, in their own way, in the way everything worth categorizing is—but the Ones! It’s really all about the Ones. You can’t quite go around just calling anything a One, you have to be certain.
So the module is attached and business proceeds without interruption. The machine spits out Ones and Zeroes like it’s supposed to, like it always has and supposedly always will, a binary system choosing between two options. Yet, anyone who knows a little too much about its inner workings is perfectly aware that the machine’s neat bifurcation isn’t all that neat. Truthfully, the machine has three outputs: One, Zero (with a degree of confidence), and “NULL”. It’s just that the exceptions are caught and sorted into the Zero-category, because that method of handling the machine’s limitations still keeps things running smoothly. It’s not much of an issue at all, and there’s no real need to examine the machine any further.
No need to pay attention to the way its NULL exceptions keep rising in volume.
No need to examine it for any shortcomings, oversights … or any weaknesses.

I've been waiting to respond since you made that post mocking us for wanting problematic characters banned from your polls because apparently you are not taking legitimate criticism of anime seriously. Because it is full of poor representation of minorities and lgbtq+ and you and all of your followers are laughing about it like it's nothing.
I will start with Yamato because everyone acts like one piece even though it's so full of misogyny. Having a trans character is amazing when I don't even think Yamato is actually trans. I'm pretty sure it's a translation error and everyone has latched on to it. So again that is not good representation if it's not confirmed representation and even if it was confirmed, it's not good representation. Yamato because of the one piece art style by default Yamato is full-blown a fetishization of trans people because all one piece characters if they are drawn, female presenting are drawn like sex dolls. So unless they go through an actual gender transition and not just a pronoun change. There cannot be good representation with Yamato because Yamato is a fetish, not a fully fleshed out character. I mean to boil it all down. I don't think the author is capable of having any good lgbtq+ representation one piece is just not a sophisticated enough story and the characters are just too shallow for that to be possible
Bleach did a similar thing with Yoruichi acting like it was so amazing to have a character of color and she is supposedly bisexual but she's just waifu bait and it reeks of misogyny and fetishization of BIPOC. She's a furry to top it all off. It doesn't help that the bunny chick from my hero is basically the new gen version of the same character, but at least she is disabled too. So at least they tried to do something with her character other than waifu bait
So I would like to know why every character I've seen promoted as great representation in anime for either the BIPOC or LGBTQ+ communities seem to only be horribly fetishized, useless, waifu bait. Not actually a good character.
And even when Japan is dealing with its own ethnic minorities and indigenous populations it still does a horrible job by playing into the Noble Savage stereotype Hollywood likes to play into. Have you not seen the anime Golden Kamuy? It's about Japan's own first Nations tribe and it's So disrespectful to that. I swear they could not have had a single person from Hokkaido, much less a member of the actual Ainu people involved in the creation of that anime or manga. And yet I've seen so many people brag about that anime and manga and how it's so good for diversity. When again, every single Ainu character acts like a bad native American stereotype from like a 1950s American Hollywood western. It's that bad and don't get me started on the fan service in that show. It's at a level that could be considered exploitative but it's okay. Some of the characters might be gay so it's representation. To top it all off it reinforces white colonial beauty standards because the main Ainu character is specially because she's half white and has blue eyes like her white dad and she talks about how she's going to be a new kind of better Ainu for the future because she's white passing. That show is a reductive racist dumpster fire and I can't believe anyone says otherwise.
But you said you won't ban characters unless the fandom becomes too toxic. But you really should consider looking out for the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities by not promoting toxic problematic characters and actually banning these toxic problematic characters and shows
