For mermay: how about merman! Joseph where Y/N finds him on the beach at low tide and when he sees them he freaks out and tries to go NIGERUNDAYOOOO but he's on land and he's just flopping around 😂
Absolutely! That's hilarious, you didn't specify whether you wanted yandere or non-yandere, so I made it ambiguous. Enjoy my beautiful mermay enjoyer (you also can be handsome if you want cutie!)❤️
Beached
Joseph was often told that his attention seeking behavior would cause him trouble one day. His elders often scolded him for causing currents in the city, startling fish, and wandering too close to the surface. He'd always laugh at them and quip back something clever that made them angrier. Now he realized they might have been right.
It was a simple bet really; Cesear and he were swimming around causing mischief when the topic of the surface came up. "I bet they've got some pretty hot babes on the surface. Ones with two tails instead of one." Joseph sighed dreamily, causing Cesear to scoff. "The women of the land can't compete with the women of the sea." Typical Cesear, so close minded. A smirk appeared on Joseph's face as a "brilliant" idea came to mind. "Oh Cesear, I think that I can find someone more beautiful than all the merfolk in the sea just by the beach." Cesear's kelp green eyes narrowed. "Your next words are 'You bastardo Joseph, you've got yourself a deal!'" Cesear fell for Joseph's ploy. "You bastardo Joseph, you've got yourself a deal!" Joseph shit eating grin was met with shock and anger from the other merman. "You smug sea devil, get back here!" Joseph giggled to himself as he swam from his friend.
Things were going good for Joseph no merfolk noticed Joseph and Cesear sneak towards the surface. Cesear still kept his underwater, like the bloody coward he is. No matter all Joseph has got to do is scope out the land for some hot babes! Swimming closer and ducking his head underwater when he thought someone might be coming, he eagerly spied on the beach to find... NO ONE?! What gives? It was a beautiful morning, sun rising steadily into the sky water at low tide. Low tide... "OH NO!"
You had just woken up and stretched a bit, this was a great place to vacation during the summer. Beautiful town, friendly people, and the sea. White sand for miles around and clear blue ocean water. You love the Mediterranean! Donning a swim shirt and swim trunks and covering that with a light beach cover up, you slipped on your sandals. You rode your bike through the small town that was peacefully asleep, it was pretty early in the morning. Perfect time to have the beach all to yourself. You were ready for another day of tanning, relaxing, and summer fun. You hop off your bike and walk over to the beach humming a tune that was stuck in your head. (Fav song) gets better each time you hear it. Your peace was ruined by someone screaming, oh my god is that person okay? Running to the source of the noise you found a handsome man. He had a mop of wild brown hair and eyes the color of sea glass. He was tall, tan, and muscular and had no legs. Instead, there was a beautiful green fish tail. The man Stopped his loud yelling and violently slapping his tail to look at you. The merman precedes to flop even harder.
Joseph was stuck and while he was an intelligent bastard he also was a cocky one. He wasn't paying attention to the tides and now was flopping around like a fish out of water. Well, he was one but that was beside the point. "Cesear, move your big tail and help me!" The man was met with bubbles. Oh, so that's how that is, Cesear was laughing at his misfortunes. Fake friend! Joseph was too busy cursing the blond traitor that he didn't notice a pair of footsteps quickly approaching him. A light gasp caused his head to snap over to the creator of the noise. A person who was (short/medium/tall) and had (h/l) (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes. They were wearing baggy cloth that hid their curves from his curious gaze. He found a two tail... a hot two tail! Crap a two tail! Joseph begins flopping harder than before he needed to get out of here. He heard the two tail speak in a language he could not understand as it franticly approached him. Hell no!
Wack! the powerful green tail smacked you straight in the gut, throwing you onto some sharp seashells thoroughly knocking the wind out of you. You were trying to help but this merman just gut punched you with his tail. He frantically made clicking and chattering noises to something in the water you could not see. Another merperson? That didn't matter right now, what did was getting the merman back into the ocean before other people came. The merman looked to be made of pure muscle so there was no picking him up and approaching him from behind would get you smacked again. Maybe you could get some water over to where you are. You crept around the merman and threw your hands up in a sign of nonaggression towards the frightened brunet. the ocean was further than you thought and you didn't have a bucket to pour water on him. Frustrated you sank your feet into the wet sand causing water to fill in the hole you made in the sand. Bingo!
Joseph was confused as to why the two tail was digging a hole at this time. Is that what two tails do when stressed? He'd have to ask Speedwagon but right now he continued to observe the two tail and keep them a tail length away. Continuing to watch he saw water slowly filling the hole they made as the dug up to where Joseph would be making some sloppy aqueduct. Who knew two tails could be smart? Joseph met the desperate (e/c) that held no malice towards him. He was good at reading people and knew the land dweller was no danger to him and was even trying to help. Joseph began slowly inching towards them and the small saltwater river they were making, their hands looked tired, but they didn't stop, even as sweat began to form on their brow. Joseph felt his heart began beating faster not out of fear but something else. They didn't have to help them and yet they were trying, more than some merfolk ever did for him.
You heard a squeak and a splash coming from behind you the merman enters the watery area you made for him and was pushing you with him towards the ocean. You both landed with a plop in the warm waters of the Mediterranean, salt stinging your eyes as you had not been prepared to go swimming right now. Surfacing you gasped for air as you searched for the merman, only to see the green merman circling you like a shark. Did you just put yourself in danger? Plop the merman's head surfaced from the water a cheeky grin on his face. Face only centimeters from your own, he looked like he was going to kiss you. You blushed as you found him handsome but wasn't expecting this, squeezing your eyes shut and turning you head away from him. Nothing. You opened your eyes to look at the merman who looked at you with lips puckered and squirted salt water into your face. Gross! The mermaid disappeared before you could even yell at him for not only scaring the crap out of you but getting salt water in your mouth. You couldn't help but laugh though as the merman was very playful and you didn't mind the water. That was until you saw your shoes floating away from you.
Joseph swam down to a smirking blond with a big goofy grin on his face. "Well Joseph, did you see a land babe?" Cesear mocked him but Joseph was in too good of a mood to pout. He was so close to you, he could have kissed you! However, kissing was sacred in mermaid culture only to be done with mates. He blushed at the thought of you being his mate. You could swim with him, he could introduce you to Cesear, and he could show you his home! His giddy thoughts were interrupted by the sour taste that came to his mouth when he thought of introducing you to Cesear or any other merfolk. He didn't want to do that, you were too precious for them. With that decided he planned hen he would meet his own little two leg again with Cesear chasing after him.
Sorry if it sucks, I kinda rushed towards the end because I didn't know if you wanted yandere or not, so this was more fluffy. Please feel free to request more this mermay.

JOHOES: Strap-ons. . .
Modern!AU. I aged-up some characters for obvious reasons. Minors DNI. Fem!Reader. English isn't my first language
Johoes x Fem!Reader
How these girls would fuck you with a strap-on
Suzie Q, Reimi, Trish: She and you have been secretly crushing on each other for months. One night, after a few drinks, you finally confess your feelings. At that moment, you suggest her to use your brand new strap-on on you, she seems a little hesitant but in the end she proceeds to do it, and god at that moment you wondered why you hadn't told her before to get laid with you because surprisingly she does know how to fuck you well with her girlcock more than any other man nsfw link
Lisa Lisa, Yukako: After an exhausting party, a party that left you quite tired, you arrived home only to find your wife, who at that moment was wearing a beautiful strap-on tied to her, you knew it, you knew that after seeing that there was no way for you to go straight to bed without first bouncing on her girlcock, while your ass was spanked mercilessly by her hands, with your wrists tied, and swearing that you would never arrive at this hour again, unless you spend another additional hour between her legs or sucking her strap nsfw link
Erina, Hot Pants: It was midnight, you and your newlywed wife were in bed, hugging each other. After having eaten her out, she said she wanted to return the favor, but not between your legs, no, she wanted to use a toy on you. So at that moment you were by her side, taking her girlcock deep in your pussy, while her hands went to your breasts. Her kisses filled your face, occasionally her mouth would go down to leave a lovebite on your neck. She was going to make sure you came more than once that night<3 nsfw link
Mariah, Jolyne, Hermes: All your bestie wanted was to bang you, so when she found out that the guy you liked so much rejected your feelings, she offered to have a girl's night together. After a lot of gossip and makeup, she told you that she was dying to see you naked, and that made you blush. After that, she smirked at you and asked "Do you want to try something new with me? You'll love it" And you accepted, now being ass up in the air, with your bestie behind you, pounding you as if the world was going to end. You didn't know whether to regret saying yes, because of how abrupt she was with you, or thank her, since her girlcock made you immediately forget about your pathetic ex-crush. Now you have your friend. What more could you ask for? Do not doubt at all that she is going to beat up that motherfucker! nsfw link

Hello! I hope you are doing well! If possible, may I please request some Jojo headcanons for Jonathan, Erina, and DIO with an S/O who has a stand that, much like [The World], has the ability to stop Time and they use it for the most mundane of purposes? Like, no evil plans or anything, they just use it to help them out perhaps? Like if their missing something, they suddenly have it in their hands, etc? Also, I love the idea of non-stand users just meeting a stand user, DIO is there because he’s… DIO lmao.
My first and last ever JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure request! So, let’s do it! Phantom Blood characters. Def favs were Phantom Blood and Battle Tenacity! Joseph is my hero! Thank you dearly
Joestar Jonathan
Jonathan is just shocked and so fascinated… Simple as that; nothing more, nothing less. Are you magic? No. He saw you just sitting there and now, there is a water bottle in your hands from literally nothing? How is that possible!
Jonathan is so intrigued by your ‘invisible hands’ that he asks questions. How does it work? Is it magic? Is it psychic? Can anybody get such abilities? Is it like vampirism? He becomes a curious, cute little child as his blue eyes sparkle with hope to learn
Jonathan won’t ever try make you do anything you don’t want but he would be interested to see your invisible hands fight and he even tries to touch your STAND. He simply encourages you and compliments you about your amazing ability in the STAND! You have additional greatness, alongside your amazing personality
Jonathan is mainly just so interested and curious to learn more about a STAND user, everything they haven to offer
Pendleton Erina
Erina is frightened by how you’ll be in one spot before she blinks but once she does, you’re somewhere else. She can’t be seeing things! That’s impossible… so what are you doing? She is kinda too shy to ask about it but the way she acts, it’s obvious she wants to
Erina wonders if this magical ability of yours is dangerous or not as you insist to her it’s harmless whilst making a object ‘float’ in midair. She can’t see it… so what are you referring to? She does believe you as you speak, but at the same time, she just wants to see this creature you have described to her herself
Erina is such a polite girl. So, she keeps most of her questions to herself and she tries to keep out of the way of your STAND but if you have it pick her up from falling over, she will be frightened by the invisible hands but thankful to your own kindness. If you let her, she’ll try touch your STAND
Erina may be a bit suspicious about such a existence, but she does believe you and would love to learn more about a STAND user
DIO
DIO cannot believe your STAND is so much like his The World that he is completely interested in you straight away. You can stop time as well? He must know exactly the limits and abilities of your time-stopping STAND to figure out how it ties to The World
DIO is annoyed by how you don’t use your STAND for the right reasons but for such nonsensical reasons. STANDS are built for battle and you’re using your extremely powerful one to do such mundane tasks since you proclaim; “it is more comfortable for you”. Don’t be such a moron!
DIO may have a matching ability to yours but not even he can predict nor notice you using the time stop. You’ll be somewhere as he turns away then you’ll be gone from the room when he turns back. DIO knows to always be ready as your STAND and The World can openly clash
DIO knows of STAND users but a STAND user with the same ability as his has his undivided attention and fascination

Little Sister Figure Headcanons: Platonic!Joseph Joestar x Reader
Fem!Reader with she/her pronouns. The Reader’s boss is written to be a jerk.
A/n: It feels great to be writing again! I took a massive break for the holidays, and in order to give myself time adjusting to a new job. Writing this was rather personal to me in a sense, as Joseph very much so reminds me of my own older brother. Hope y’all enjoy. <3
Warning(s): Joseph’s pathetic complicated relationship with women. Canon-typical swearing. Period-typical sexism.
Joseph Joestar… historically does not have a positive reputation amongst women.
It’s well earned; coming off as rude at best and downright insensitive at worst. And this behavior doesn’t exclude women he hardly knows either. In fact, his brash attitude is arguably more on display around strangers.
A whistle to an attractive passerby leading to his foot being stomped on. Talking a little too loudly about how women “doing up their faces is a sort of trap” earning him harsh glances from pretty much every woman within earshot. An older woman smacking him across the face with an umbrella after a murmur about not being surprised at the lack of a ring on her left hand. Making an unfounded claim that women can’t drive well, only to have been questioned, walk back on his claim, and ultimately cultivating in a knee harshly connecting with his stomach. The list only goes on.
For every five women that brush off his comments, there’s always one who isn’t afraid to give him an immediate reality check.
You fell into the latter category upon your first meeting.
“Out of the kindness of his heart,” Joseph helped you out one day when you needed it most. New York City can be a real rough place to live, and on that day, the sins of the city turned their attention to you.
Cornered by some thugs, they demanded anything of value be handed over. It made blood drain from your face, twisting your expression into something that didn’t do much to conceal the fear you had felt.
Regardless of your explicit nervousness, you had attempted to stand your ground. Sticking to your guns, although you wouldn’t ever regret doing so, seemingly only made things worse. The thugs took no time at all roughing you up a bit, to the point where they knocked you down to the concrete ground below you.
Looking back, it seems like a stroke of fate, that Joseph Joestar happened to be walking past at that very moment.
Seemingly without much hesitancy, he jumped to your defense. It was quite the spectacle, if you’re being completely honest. His cocky attitude was only validated by his genuine intuition and strength in the fight that inevitably unfolded. Watching him in combat for the first time is something you doubt you’ll ever forget.
His actions right after the fact is also something you’re likely to never forget:
Sparks seemed to ripple off him; beginning at his fingertips only to move beyond in crackling waves. Watching this stranger move about, picking off the three men that approached you not even ten minutes ago, your quick to understand that the energy illuminating from him is more than just what you can see on the surface.
It’s unbelievable, but there’s little reason to doubt what you’re seeing with your own eyes.
All the while a grin never once disappears from his face. When he initially inserted himself into the conflict, your stomach sank. Sure, he’s quippy, but he gave the impression of a man who’s all bark and no bite.
But by now, you’ve stumbled to your feet. Standing off to the side, your body motionless, eyes widen in subtle recognition that you’d been wrong about him.
It isn’t long before the three thugs desperately scramble away from the scene, tripping over themselves trying to do so. Not wavering one bit, the brunette closely watches them run off. The intensity of his gaze was jarring compared to his goofy and outlandish behavior. And you only find yourself relaxing after he finally relaxed.
Taking a step closer to him, you lift a brow when he doesn’t at all turn to look at you. Pausing, you once again plant your feet in the position they’re in.
Despite his almost insultingly unserious demeanor during the fight, you can’t not say something to him. Even if all that leaves your mouth is a simple “thank you,” it’s not within your own morality to just ignore or disregard the actions of someone who just saved your skin.
“Uhm…” you clear your throat. The action finally prompts him to whirl around in your direction, his eyes blinking a couple times displaying dumb recognition. You continue on to tell him, “Thank you a lot. You didn’t have to do that, but you still chose to get involved anyway. I don’t know what I would’ve done if you hadn’t showed up.”
You felt internally glad that, albeit briefly, you were able to voice your appreciation for his help.
He blinks some more, before bringing up a hand to the side of his face. “Wow! You look terrible!” he blurts, saying it with his entire chest.
“What?” you respond, taken aback.
“Geez, lady, look you you!” he puts his hands on his hips, bending down at the waist. The action, whether he meant to or not, fully emphasizes the size difference between you. In the moment, you certainly felt more than a little patronized. “Did you even style your hair this morning? It looks awful!”
“Of… of course I did, you jerk!” you snap back, clenching your hands into fists and shaking them wildly at him. You were far too surprised to even think of explaining to him that getting hit and shoved doesn’t keep your appearance in pristine condition.
“Whoa, whoa…” he chuckles, taking a step backwards, “What happened to being all grateful?”
“Excuse me!?”
It was a rough first impression, to say the least.
You likely couldn’t stand Joseph Joestar after the initial meeting. Well, if anyone were to ask your opinion of him, that’s what would be your immediate response.
Despite that, his willingness to help a stranger out without even properly looking at them first intrigued you a bit.
Even more so, the fact that his little found family - a kind-hearted grandmother and his fun-loving friend, Smoky -immediately took a liking to you without much hesitation.
It’s those two who you’re likely to get along with first, not quite seeing eye-to-eye with Joseph for a good while.
So what is it exactly that leads to the two of you developing more of a genuine friendship? Fighting him.
No, seriously.
Not long after your brush up with the three thugs, you and Joseph engaged in a conversation about your own strength. He told you (rather bluntly) that “although your fiery, you can’t fight for shit.”
This eventually evolved into the two of you working out together. Then, that naturally progressed into him giving you pointers when in a fight. Then, that progressed into the two of you sparring one another from time to time.
Now, that power he displayed the first time you met (hamon, you remember him calling it), wasn’t something he was willing to teach you. But Joseph was more than happy to help teach you how to hold your own in a fight at the very least.
He went on to say how dangerous New York City can be for a young woman who doesn’t know how to protect herself, but you long learned to stop listening to him when he got in the mood to lecture. And though you certainly didn’t need him to tell you about the dangers of being a woman, you know there’s a certain degree of good will to his intent.
Despite his slightly condescending attitude at the start, this proved to do a lot for your relationship the more you spent time together. He was unafraid to speak his mind, and you were unafraid to call him out. With time, he started to genuinely appreciate that about you.
He went from purely pestering you, to doing so with a much friendlier edge that expressed a deeper understanding of your own sense of humor.
And at the end of the day, after each time he works out with you, he ruffles up the hair on the top of your head and tells you good job- from a surprisingly genuine place.
Considering how your friendship began, no one could really blame you from feeling surprised with its development. And there’s been several times now when Joseph’s truly had your back in a way that really makes you remember his care:
“This is a really stupid idea.”
“Shush! Besides, you think all my ideas are bad ideas.”
“And am I wrong...?”
“Oh- Jesus- would you just shush!?” Joseph hushes you once more, his head snaping over to your direction.
“JoJo,” you frown, eyes darting back and forth between him and the subject of your concern. The two of you are hunched over, peaking over a corner inside the building where you work. It’s early in the morning too. So early, in fact, your boss is the only person besides a janitor or two who’s bound to be in the building for at least another hour. “You know I could be fired for this if he finds out I’m the one behind it. He’s already itching to-“
“Quit your worrying, would you? I’ve got it all figured out! No one blaming you for jack shit- got it?” Joseph cuts you off, tone indicating that you really shouldn’t try pressing the matter further. Turning his attention back forwards, he adds, “Now, will you please zip it!?”
“But surely this is taking it a step too far,” you push it further, “When I told you about my boss-“
“A money-hungry and endlessly rude person,” he quotes your own words exactly.
“-I just needed to vent to someone about it. I wasn’t necessarily asking for petty revenge.”
“Don’t call my hamon traps petty!”
“You use it for petty reasons!”
“Oh? So now helping you is petty!?” Joseph raises his voice a little.
You’re quick to match the tone of his voice, “It’s fine that you want to help me, but I’m having a lot of seconds thoughts about this!”
“Well, that’s clearly obvious…”
“Please...” you groan, “Just... reconsider...”
“It’s too late to reconsider!”
“Well, you-“
A booming voice, coming from just a few feet away from the two of you, cuts off your words, “What the hell is going on over here!?”
Like two dear in headlights, you and Joseph slowly turn your heads over to the hall before you. There, your boss stands with an angry and slightly bewildered expression. Neither you nor Joseph heard his approaching footsteps over the sound of your bickering. And your boss is just moments away from looking close enough to recognize you- meaning your just seconds away from likely losing your job....
Luckily, a few seconds is all a person like Joseph needs to react.
Suddenly, he stands up straight and puts his hands triumphantly on his hips. “I-“ he announces, your boss looking up at him with wide eyes, “-harbor a grudge against this stupid establishment! Starting with-“ he dramatically turns to point at you, “-This young woman!”
Before your boss can react- hell, before you can react -Joseph grabs you by the waist and hoists you over his shoulder as if keeping you hostage. The sound you make when he does so certainly sells it.
This is his idea of having everything figured out!?
Laughing loudly, Joseph rushes past your boss cackling as if he’s trying out for a roll as a cartoonish burglar. As he moves away, he yells out, “Your next line will be, “What in the hell is this!?’”
And as you’ve come to expect, those same words almost immediately left your boss’s mouth.
The lecture that Granny Erina had in store for him after she finally found out about that stunt... oh, it was priceless.
He took the fall completely, even though you tried voicing your own involvement. Yes, you weren’t totally on board in at the end, but you still were a part of the ordeal.
Regardless, Joseph was having none of it.
And that’s exactly how he is with you. Cheekily looking after you in a profoundly brotherly way that after that specific incident, you began to refer to him as such. To your delight, he gladly returns the sentiment.
A part of you is hesitant to admit it, but you really look up to him. He’s taught you much, not just about being a fighter, but on anything that crossed his mind. Everything from his own thought process, to how to “properly” prepare an afternoon snack.
And in return, he’s always at your side and eager to listen to whatever thought crosses your mind.
Looking back, it seems like just as the two of you truly became so close, you were completely blindsided by an entire month of complete radio silence from him. It’s as if he’d just packed up and left... and it really broke your heart.
With more time passing, and one false death report later, Joseph was in for the lecture of a lifetime. He thought he’d gone through the ringer, from his grandmother alone, but nothing beats the frustrated ranting from a younger sister.
“Why didn’t you tell me!?”
“Do you have any idea how worried I was about you!?”
“Next time someone threatens your life send me a telegram! Write me a letter for crying out loud! I would’ve went to Italy straight away to kick their asses myself!”
“Don’t you dare ever leave me out of the loop again- you hear me, Joestar!?”
Joseph’s never going to forget a single word it.
And as frustrated you were, the look on your face when he also admitted to getting married without your knowledge on top of all that... he’s very lucky you love him like family.

Spill the Wine
Dio Brando x F!Reader
Yes, the title is a song reference, but the song has nothing to do with the plot LOL- Also not proofread because we die like real men here.
Warnings: Drunk sex, degradation, Dio being mean, semi public sex (you’re in the library and there are people over), face fucking, oral (m!receiving), slight fingering, Dio has a god complex (shocker), You actually get caught by Jonathan but not like caught caught. Mdni. I will block you.
Summary: You’re a good friend of Joseph and Erina, having known both of them since you were children. However, you’re adults now, and Joseph and his adopted brother just graduated college. Celebration is in order!
“Erina I’m serious!” You scoff and sit beside her on the picnic blanket, taking her hands into your own and looking her in the eyes seriously. “Joseph misses you very much! You can’t let that fool Dio stand in your way!”
“Well… I miss JoJo too… but I’m still afraid…” Erina trails off, frowning slightly. “What if Dio tries to do something again?”
“Oh please, he won’t do it again. It’s been years since then!” You roll your eyes and place a comforting hand on her cheek. “As a fellow woman, I won’t allow him to hurt you again. And as your friend, if he does such a thing he’ll be condemned to death by my shoes!” You laugh and lift up one of your legs, your dress riding up your calf as you wave your foot in the air.
“So.” You put your leg down and look her in the eyes. “Are you going to that party that JoJo is hosting at his estate, or are you not brave enough?”
Erina frowns and breaks eye contact with you.
“Y/n… you know I can’t…”
“But he still loves you, Erina! It’s been years and he still loves you!” You raise your voice slightly and pout. “Oh whatever, I’ll be going now, thank you for your time Erina.” You hop up off the ground and wave at her.
“Y/n please don’t-“
“It’s okay, I understand. But I’m going regardless. He is my friend and that stupid Dio is an acquaintance of mine, so I’m going. It’s a huge milestone in their lives and I’m going to celebrate with them.” You spun around and began to walk away, your dress swishing behind you. “Good day.”
“Y-Y/n!”
You sat on your bed, staring at the ceiling aimlessly as you waited for eight pm to roll around. You knew there were going to be a good number of people there, so you figured you’d socialize for a bit and then disappear to the library.
But that would be too easy, wouldn’t it?
Around seven, you began to get ready, putting on some decent earrings and bright red lipstick before hopping in the carriage your father had prepared for you.
Once you arrived, Jonathan greeted you with a smile, pulling you in for a warm hug. His father did the same, saying something along the lines of how you were like a daughter to him.
All things considered, the party was quite tame. There were people everywhere, surrounding Jonathan and Dio as they congratulated the boys on their successes. You couldn’t help but roll your eyes and head towards the library. If they wanted to talk to you, they would.
It was always like this.
Ever since you had known Jonathan, you had seemed to shy away from people. He attracted attention, and attention you avoided like the plague. He understood, however, and was willing to comfort you in your anxiety when necessary.
But he didn’t find you in your drunken and anxious state. He wasn’t the one that came into the library and talked you out of it, helping you sober up enough to face the crowd so you could go home. He wasn’t the one that walked through the doors of the library and called your name lazily, looking for you.
It was Dio that found you curled up in a ball towards the back of the library. And it was Dio who took care of you.
“My my, you look like a mess.” He walked over to you and sat down beside you, eyeing the bottle of wine that was resting at your side.
“Shut up…” You took a deep breath and held it. Not even the alcohol was able to calm you down. “The… people…”
“Ah yes, there are a lot of people here tonight, no?” Dio leaned over and grabbed the bottle of wine, hiding it from you with a chuckle.
You and Dio weren’t friends by any means, because you had heard about all of the terrible things he did to Jonathan. However, as time went on and as Jonathan forgave him, you did too. You grew to be acquainted with him, but you didn’t talk all that much unless he happened to catch you when you were alone.
Just like now.
“I hate people…” With a drunken sigh, you rested your head on his shoulder, your lips forming in a pout as you reached for the bottle of wine. Dio pulled it away and raised an eyebrow at you, a smirk forming on his lips.
“Me too.” He placed a gentle hand on your head and ran his fingers through your hair. You were drunk. And when you were drunk you were much more sensitive than usual. It was taking all he had to not tease you about your anxiety, and what little self control he had was being tested in this very moment.
“Why are you in here?” Your voice was soft, almost shy, which caught him off guard some. It was much different from the harsh, indifferent side of you he had grown to hate.
“Because I got bored.” He sighs and rests his head on the bookshelf behind him. “And JoJo told me to make sure you were still alive.” He looked down at your body, taking in the sight of you curled up next to him. “I guess I’ll just have to tell him that you died of alcohol poisoning in the library.”
“Please do.” You grumbled, letting out a long and over exaggerated sigh. “He’d be embarrassed to see me like this.” A soft hiccup escaped you as you frowned, pouting at the thought of Jonathan finding you in this state.
“He sees you like this all the time. What’s the harm now?” Dio scoffed and looked down at you, smirking ever so slightly.
“It’s his party… and I got drunk because I can’t handle people…” You sounded disappointed in yourself, as if you’re upset that you let it get this bad.
“Well… I have a way to sober you up, but I can’t guarantee it’s quickness.” Dio’s smirk grew and you can practically feel it as he stared down at you. He grabbed the bottle of wine and put it to his lips, chugging it like he needed it to survive. “But first…” he hiccuped. “I need to be drunker than you are.”
“H-Huh..?” You stared at him, eyes wide as he downed what was left of the wine. He popped his lips off of the bottle with an audible gasp, fighting for air as he turned to face you.
Without hesitation, he smashed his lips onto yours, forcing you to taste the wine he just downed. His tongue forced itself past your lips, pushing past your own and hungrily exploring every corner of your mouth.
It was almost like he had been waiting for this moment to come.
“My my y/n, you taste like a drunkard.” Dio chuckled as he pulled away from you, his left hand sliding underneath your dress while his right held you pressed against him. His hand was cold against your thighs, his fingers nearing your aching heat. However, he stopped moving and pushed you to the floor of the library, driving a knee between your legs and grinding it whilst you squirmed.
“D-Dio I-“ You but the inside of your cheek nervously, your legs shaking as you closed your eyes in anticipation.
Sure he wasn’t the first guy you’ve been intimate with, but he didn’t need to know that. No one needed to know it, actually. It was frowned upon to have sexual relations with someone you weren’t betrothed to. But you didn’t care.
You were young, so why not be reckless?
“No no no my dear.” He chided, and he leg stopped moving. You whined, longing for some form of friction, for some form of release. “You’re going to be nice and quiet for me.” He undid his belt and pulled down his pants, allowing his cock to spring free from its confines.
He grabbed your wrist and pulled you off of the floor, a grunt passing through his lips as he leaned back, giving you a nice view of his twitching cock. “D’ you like what you see, m’lady?” His words slurred together, but you didn’t care. He got his point through and that’s all that really mattered.
You crawled forward slowly, but too slowly according to Dio, seeing as he grabbed your arms and pulled you close, shoving your face down by his dick. He let out a pleased hum as he watched you lean forward and lick up his length, his eyes fluttering shut briefly before he pushed your head down onto his cock.
You gagged, tears pricking at the corners of your eyes as Dio helped you bob your head up and down. Sighs escaped him here and there, turning into whines as he thrust his hips against your face.
He sure was desperate for someone who seemingly didn’t like you.
Maybe it was just the wine.
“There you go, you filthy little wench.” He panted, his grip on your hair tighter as his thrusts became sloppier. Dio forced you off of his cock, chuckling softly at the audible ‘pop’ that echoed in the peaceful silence of the library. “Say ‘ah’.” He grinned as he stroked himself, his tip pointed at your tongue.
With a shameful groan, he came all over your face, treating you like a blank canvas that had yet to be painted.
He let out a breathy chuckle and pulled you into his lap, pushing up your dress and pushing aside your panties. Without warning, he inserted two fingers into your soaking cunt, thrusting at an insane pace.
“D-Dio-“
“Master Dio.” He corrected as you whined softly into his shoulder. “Lord Dio, even.” His fingers slowed inside you, and you shivered at the sudden lack of movement.
“L-Lord Dio…” You whispered, closing your eyes as you began to grind onto his fingers. His hand came up to your hip and held you in place harshly, his eyes seemingly glowing in the candle-lit room. He pulled his fingers out of your cunt slowly, hushing you when you whimpered drunkenly.
“Don’t be too loud now, or JoJo will hear us.” He leaned down to whisper into your ear, teasingly biting the shell of it as he pressed his tip against your lips. “I’m sure you wouldn’t want him to see you in such a…” He smirked and pushed himself in, cutting himself off with an unexpected moan. “O-Oh…” He trailed off and lost himself in you as he bottomed out.
He sat there for a couple of seconds, secretly relishing in the feeling of your tight pussy around him. It was wonderful, and it was everything he had hoped it would be.
You brought your hand to your face when he started thrusting, biting down harshly on it to prevent you from being too loud. However, Dio wasn’t making it easy in the slightest.
His pace was harsh, each thrust hitting deeper than the last and forcing you to see stars. Low grunts and whiny moans escaped him, and before you knew it, you were moving your hips in sync with him, both of you desperate for your release.
“Y/n? Are you in here?”
It was Jonathan.
Dio didn’t slow down and instead glared at you, silently threatening you into making the right decision. He waited for you to answer Jonathan, but you looked totally fucked out, unable to think of anything but the man who was rearranging your guts right now.
“Y-Yeah. I’ll be out in a few-!” You slurred slightly, slumping into Dio’s arms with a whiny sigh. The blonde chuckled and slowed his pace some, nearing his second release. His hand came down and found your clit, thumbing away at it until you felt your high getting nearer.
“In a few, you say?” He smirked. “You’re not going anywhere.”

Hello! Hope you are doing well! I would love to get a male romantic matchup from you.
So, about me. I am a very shy, introverted girl. I usually go out of my way to avoid social interactions and at times I freeze when I have to go up to talk to someone I don't know very well. But that dosent mean I hate socialising! I get chatty with the people I'm closest with but I still prefer alone time more than anything. I've been told I'm a very sweet but very sensitive person, i also cry very easily. My hobbies are crocheting, reading and listening to music. I have my headphones on so often that I definitely see hearing loss in my future. I'm daydreamer and I zone out a lot of the time, I'm also very introspective and self aware which is my own personal downfall.
My physical attributes:
Female
160cm
I have an hourglass figure
I have long dark brown hair
Hazel eyes
When looking for a partner, I guess I'm looking for someone who is confident and a people person, someone who will balance me out in that regard. Someone who I can read with and talk about anything. Someone who will take the time off day to really listen to me and share their inner most thought with me.
Thank you so much if you take up my request! I really appreciate it!
i match you with...♡
☆Jonathan Joestar☆
i felt deep in my soul that i needed to match you with jonathan
he thinks its so cute that you're shy
i think he's the perfect amount of people person to go with your shyness
when you guys are out in public together he will do all the talking for you
most definitely will order your food for you (and pay ofc)
he's a gentleman!
he loves that he can just wrap you up in his arms, the size difference makes his heart melt
loves loves loves to sit and read with you
even if he loses interest in his book and ends up just looking at you the whole time instead
he just thinks you're the most attractive person in the world
uses petnames like sweetheart, dear, and my beloved
will sit next to you and listen to you talk for hours while gazing at you with the most pure look of love in his eyes
everyone can tell how in love he is with you just from looking at how he looks at you
he'd totally be into slow dancing
wants you to teach him how to crochet (he'd be terrible at it)
would probably only be able to make chains lmao
but he loves to try just so he has an excuse to be with you
he wants you to crochet him a sweater but it takes you forever because he's literally huge
loves to ask what you're daydreaming about
he just wants to know what's on your mind!
when he notices you're sad, he'll come up to you and just hold you, he'll let you cry in his shoulder for as long as you need to, gently caressing your back and kissing the top of your head
SO LOYAL
wants to try to make you breakfast in bed
the toast might be a little bit burnt but you can tell he put effort into it
puts your life before his
you're his world
he is a VERY affectionate man and loves to cuddle
if you're okay with physical touch, he will probably hold you all night long
very much a big spoon, but also enjoys when you full on lay on top of him
will talk you to sleep
he is your biggest supporter and will support you in everything you do
would definitely propose to you like... pretty early on😭
he is SURE he is going to marry you
and honestly, he would be the most faithful, loyal, and loving husband you could have
like seriously you will always be taken care of
lowkey would spoil you so hard🤭
p.s. SORRY THIS WAS SO SAPPYYY😭❤️

Thoughts on Jonathan and George's relationship:
Honestly, George always meant the best for Jonathan. Even when he was harsh he was trying to push Jonathan to be better as best he could, and he took a knife for Jonathan in the end- but still, it wasn't great for Jonathan.
But on the other hand, the dude was not equipped to handle this alone I think. With Mary's sudden and unexpected death, especially with my headcannon that the Joestar Family Neurodivergence came from her side, with the total lack of knowledge on that kind of thing in that era, he would have been hard-pressed to do better.
Then add in Dio, and hoo boy. He's not equipped to handle being a good parent with regards to Dio's trauma either, especially when he doesn't even know it exists, but he can't not take in Dio either, given the alternatives are Not Great and his own kind heart.
And Jonathan's feelings are... complicated. There's frustration at never quite seeming good enough, at the favoritism towards Dio, but also, he still loves George, still misses him after he dies. And for a long time, he probably internalizes a lot of it, thinking it was somehow him and not George.
It takes a long time for him to come to terms with the fact that even if George couldn't really have done much better, that doesn't affect the fact that Jonathan still deserved better. And I don't think he really internalizes that until he's raising George II and thinks about what George did with him from that perspective. (Though at the same time, he can see how, if he didn't have the knowledge he does about how his brain works differently from lived experience... he can see why George did what he did, even if it was dead wrong.)
Honestly I think the whole Jonaeriwagon trio might end up sort of reparenting themselves as they raise kids together- Jonathan realizing that he deserved better than what George did, even if George was doing as best he knew how, now Jonathan knows better, and can treat both his kid and his own inner child with that new knowledge and kindness. Speedwagon makes sure the kids have everything they want or need, spoiling them with gifts and love while also confronting how the scarcity he grew up under affected him, and starting to learn to treat himself now that he has the resources. And Erina, more headcannony, but empowering the kids to have more control and agency over their lives than she had, being dragged around continents with her dad, and that inner core of steel starting to become something she's more comfortable showing and working with as she teaches the kids to do the same.
I couldn't have worded it better myself and also I'm losing my mind (/pos) over these beautiful Jonaeriwagon headcanons because Y E S
the way I've always been thinking of George is sort of a "You Tried Your Best But It Was What You Thought Was Best." I don't doubt he loved Jonathan and Dio, but what he saw as helping them ultimately did cause a lot of harm
but also now I'm rotating so many soft things as they raise George II together-
Jonathan indulging George's interests, reading up on them so they have things to talk about, listening to him as much as he can to his son never feels unheard or shoved to the sidelines or like nobody believes him
Speedwagon always making sure George has what he needs but also teaching him how to value and safe guard what he has, giving him tips on the ins and outs of the seedier parts of the world in case he ever gets in a rough spot so he won't be caught off guard
Erina making sure it's absolutely clear that no matter what happens, no matter what embarassing or terrifying thing could be done to him, they will always love and respect him and that he could come to them for help, how he always can say no and fight back if he feels it's approprate
#they're in love your honor and we were absolutely ROBBED of Wholesome Jonaeriwagon Parents#(do I acknowledge jonathan's death was important to the narritive? yes. will that stop me from making aus? nope <3)#jjba#jojo’s bizarre adventure#phantom blood#jjba part 1#jjba george#george joestar#jjba jonathan#jonathan joestar#jjba dio#dio brando#jjba speedwagon#robert e.o. speedwagon#jjba erina#erina pendleton#jjba george ii#george joestar ii#jonaeriwagon#jonathan x erina x speedwagon#sb answers#dragoninthelabratory#canon filing

Dio's Doll II
Yandere DIO X Vampire Reader
Genre: Just a filler chapter covering JJBA Part 2, so no DIO yet.
Warning: Grieving, deaths, existential angst
Part I
A/N: The extent of Dio's damage not only to your life, but your loved ones as well.
- Devastated was an understatement upon the news following after Jonathan and Erina's departure. It took Straits and his apprentices to hold you back and Speedwagon to ease you from looking for Erina yourself, damning your own life in search for the woman even in sunlight.
If you'd have known there were ways in which that damned creature would have lived, you wouldn't have moped and mourn the loss of your mortal life and instead focused on hunting him down, Jonathan and Erina wouldn't have to face Dio again.
"Erina!"
You ran to hold her in your arms upon spotting her from a distance. For a moment she jumps, but soon found herself melting in your arms, letting herself to be held after a long, tumultuous moments of her life and she held on tight, Letting her face against your chest and letting out silent tears. Soon, she was freely sobbing on your chest, clutching the fabric of your shirt.
"It's okay... Let it all out." You run your hand against her back.
- Your vampiric abilities, you've never deliberately made use of them. Not the ice breath, nor the laser in your eyes. As for your speed and strength, it is something you unintentionally use every damn time, but over time, you made sure to always be careful around everything you interacted with. Because of this, the Tibetan monks who practiced Hamom never considered you a threat... But you senses a certain Straizo's gaze looming over you. Unsettling, but you simply brushed it aside.
- You stood as another parental figure when Erina and Jonathan's child was born, even occasionally visiting the child Erina had saved from the shipwreck. Even at a young age, Elizabeth found herself at awe with you. You took babysitting duties when Erina was busy throughout the day as a teacher, while you take in the children to your room that was draped with black curtains as to not let in a ray of sunlight.
Sometimes you find yourself in a daze whenever you lay eyes on George II, as you started to see more and more of Jonathan in his son's visage as he grew. Eventually you'd snap from your gaze before resuming to whatever task you were tending to.
"Y/N? Are you okay?" George places his small hands on either sides of your cheeks when you started to daze off while staring at him. It was a sweet little habit of his, as his mother would do the same to him as a sign of affection and/or concern.
"I'm fine, George. It's just..." A look into his eyes, the eyes like his father's, as they glimmer under the candlelight with an innocence so precious and familiar. "I'm sleepy." You lied, giving him a closed-eyed smile. It wasn't a complete fabrication, you haven't had the chance to sleep.
"You can sleep. It's all dark in your room anyways, it always feels like it's night."
Unlike other children, George has become accustomed to the dark. There are no monsters hiding in the corners of the room, there was only his lovely god parent, Y/N. And Y/N is sweet, kind and sneaks him candies when mother isn't looking.
- Maybe it was Jonathan's semblance you were seeing in George that made you close to him, but you were close to the young Joestar nonetheless. At some point in his life he realised how you look so... Unchanging beside his mother and uncle Speedwagon, looking as he remembers you in his childhood. That's when he had the talk about your being and everything started to make sense to him. How your room was draped with dark curtains, how you roam the night and sleep at day, your sharp teeth, your impressive strength and speed... And yet he never treated you any differently.
You knew, at some point this day was coming and you prepared yourself for it. You know how some people could not handle the thought of a night crawler, blood-sucking monster within his proximity. You were ready to leave him be if he sees it fit... But like his father, his views of you were unchanged.
"You don't... See me as anything else? You're not scared?"
"Why would I be scared of you? You're Y/N. Just sweet, kind Y/N watched over me at night."
- Your life has been catered to by Speedwagon and his newfound wealth, which he uses to help you. Supplying you your meals and such, and by the next few years, you need a new identity to take on. He has already crafted an identity for you as to not make a rise of suspicion among others. Not only that, he has been funding developers to invent certain devices for you to use and finally be kissed by the sun.
"Oh Robert you don't have to—"
"Nonsense, Doctor Y/N. I promised Jonathan to take care of you and Erina, hell, the rest of your bloodline. I owe that to him." His hands held yours within it, the warmth of his care seeping in your skin, which you couldn't help but to feel it heating your cold, dead hands.
"You're a good man, Robert. A friend like no other. Jonathan was very lucky to have found you."
- There wasn't a moment where Dio would not cross your mind. He'd be adrift in your thoughts, your dreams... How he would return and further torture you in your deathless life. Something Erina would make the conscious effort to quell you of these demons and hold you as long as you need to, talk idly about the years of what felt like fleeting moments to you. Talks of her day, reminiscing of the past, from your childhood with Jonathan, to Erina's relationship with him. Sharing the solidarity of cursing Dio's name for ruining your relationships with Jonathan.
"He's in hell. Sunken at the very bottom."
"With all he's done, I agree Erina."
- At the age of Enlightenment, the flourishing of humanity, you find yourself studying the new discoveries and let go of the updated practices you've learned back when you were a doctor. Though you were out of practice for a long time now, you always tried to update your studies in medicine. Though you were out of practice, you were always happy to help with whatever injuries anyone in your tight circle of friend have. George always anticipated to get hurt in one way of another, and so he was always on your table as you patch him up despite how minor those injuries were.
- Life is nice, years breezed by like mere seconds in your eyes and before you knew it, everyone around you were aging while you barely changed but they treat you all the same. At your worse days, your thoughts would drift at the inevitability of your loved ones end, seeing how they already age throughout the years, while it does not feel long in your perspective. It was a thought always at the back of your mind, rearing its ugly head occasionally to remind you everyone you will ever come to know and love will slip through your fingers and taken by time.
And at those days, Erina was always by your side, like she had always been.
"I cannot imagine how dreadful it must feel the way you do, I am so sorry... But know that no matter what, I will always be by your side for the rest of you days and know that I cherish every moment with you."
- George became a pilot during the war, married to Elizabeth. George was a thoughtful man Erina raised him to be and with his fondness of you, he organised his wedding to occur at night time just so you too can bear witness to Erina and Jonathan's boy marry the love of his life. He wanted you like you have always been, an important part of his life.
Shortly after that, or what seems like it in your perspective, George introduced you to his baby boy Joseph. You were immediately enchanted to Joseph just as you were to George, you swore the same oath to protect the baby boy from harm.
"He looks like George... And his father..." Erina gently coos, holding the baby against her chest with a soft smile. Her curled finger nudging the baby's chin, before moving the coot just slightly to reveal the entirety of his face and giggled when the bundle whimpers. "Don't you think so?" Erina glances at you through her glasses.
"He does..." You had a hearty smile whilst wrapping an arm around Erina before using a curled finger to trace Joseph's forehead. "Hello Joseph."
Elizabeth can only smile at the sight of her mother-in-law and you smile like this for once. All her life, she had always sensed a certain gloom within your spirits, weighing heavily on your body, burdening your minds. This might just be the first time she had seen you in light spirits and she hoped for it to last.
Unfortunately, it didn't.
- The way your whole world collapsed from the news of George's death, how it was caused by a monster of your own kind and Elizabeth's revenge resulting to an exile. Everything was going well, for the first time you felt as though your past will no longer catch up to you, you trusted George can handle himself but it was a creature whom you are associated with— you could have saved him. You could have saved him but you weren't there. Elizabeth had to finish the job resulting for her to flee the country, when you could have done that yourself. You should have done something but you didn't.
In the middle of the tumultuous moment, this time, your own thoughts did not strangle you. Your first priority was Erina.
"Erina... I am so sorry..."
She was no longer the young woman she had been when Jonathan died to protect her, but a woman damaged with grief but strengthened by the knowledge that Jonathan would have wanted her to live on, kindness still in her heart. She appreciate every single gesture you so willingly provide her, from your words to action, you always knew what to say to soothe her woes.
She held you close, tears staining your chest. You run your fingers through her hair, whilst the other stroked her back.
- And so you raised Joseph with Erina once again, with Robert occasionally dropping by to spoil the boy. Joseph had always been so fond of you, as you were less strict compared to Erina and because of that, the mischievous boy always hid behind you whenever he would get in trouble.
"Hi Y/N!" He greets as wraps his arms around your waist, tactically turning you to use your back as a shield.
"What is it now, JoJo?" You sighed. "What have you done?"
"Nothing, nothing is wrong."
You glared at the cheeky boy.
"I know what you're gonna say—"
"I swear if you're hiding from Erina again I am taking your comics away."
Glancing at him with wide eyes, you began to think how he did it, while he can only give you a gummy grin.
- Joseph is sweet and thoughtful in his own way, unaware of your being as supernatural yet, was confused of your living habits, questioned and judged you for it, but followed nonetheless. For example, when daylight would come, he would immediately close the curtains just so you can tread the house if you wanted to. He never thought you'd be a vampire, he just thought you were weird.
"How come you can't come into the light?" He asks, as he cautiously open the dark velvet curtains by a crack, to see whether the sun had completely set before fully pulling them back.
"I might burn." You flatly answer, as all day he has been tugging on you clothes while you do chores in the house with him tailing behind you with myriads of questions in his mind.
"So you're not allowed at all?"
"Correct, JoJo."
Joseph is a smart boy, cheeky little scamp with a tongue so slivery and silver knows just how he can escape any situation. All day, he had been questioning you and your entire being and you answered them as frank as you can. Perhaps now he has figured out--
"Aha! I've got it!" He shouts with convinction, before pointing at you. "You're allergic to sunlight! Hence why you look as though you've never aged a day, you remain unchanged due to the fact you never see the light of day and absorb rays!"
Your expression dropped.
"Actually--"
"Do no tell me, I know I'm right!"
... having been dealing with his shenanigans, you simply gave up with a sigh. It's been a long day.
- When Speedwagon summoned you, Erina and Joseph from England to New York, you wasted no time to go there, as it must have been urgent. Aside from that, you have also wanted to see your dear friend for a long time now and perhaps look around America for awhile.
Joseph being Joseph, has already caused mayhem left and right once he arrived, but he has also managed to meet a new friend who joined you and Erina to dinner. His friend Smokey was a touch distant when it came to you, perhaps sensing the monster within you. Erina also senses this and comforted you, holding your hand under the table.
Of course, as much you don't like it when Joseph has the tendancy to cause chaos in public, but there are a few occurrences where you supported him. Back in your day, you weren't allowed to fight back against those who stomped on you. And hell, you were not about to make Joseph experience the same thing.
- When the news suddenly came to you of Robert's death, your initial response was to hold Erina and escort her home. It was good you did, Straizo had apparently succumb to the desire to have the same curse you bear and began to cause chaos in New York where Joseph was able to stop it. The youth, the power, Straizo claimed that you do not see the true beauty of Dio's gift. Then Straizo dropped the news that Speedwagon is alive and that there were other threats for Joseph to defeat before he allows himself to die by sunlight. It came to you that beings of divine-origin had been set free after centuries of slumber, these were beings that consume your kind Hamon is known to possibly eliminate these creatures.
All in all the events of part 2 constantly had you on the edge of your seat regarding Joseph's safety, you know how the boy tends to be. With Joseph rescuing Speedwagon from the Germans and being able to survive a pillar man, meeting with a Zeppelli, encountering more pillar men and promising them a battle, unknowingly reuniting with his mother, great stone of Aja, training Hamon, losing his Zepelli friend, the awaited duel with the pillar man, defeating the final pillar man after it had transformed to an ultimate being, presuming he is dead, holding a funeral for him, turns out he's alive and married... Tumultuous, to say the least.
It wasn't until it was over were you able to rest your weary heart. Through it all, you were beside Erina and Robert.
- With Joseph's marriage with Suzie, whom you have welcomed warmly into the family, had brought another member of the Joestars. A lovely little girl they named Holly, Erina and Jonathan's great granddaughter where you were always happy to greet upon her introduction.
"Oh Joseph she is beautiful, she looks like her mother," Erina holds the precious Holly in her arms. "Hello little Holly..."
- Having been inspired by Kars' ability to stand under the sun, he got to work with funding his company to scour sources in order to grant you the same ability. A stone mask with an artificial recreation of the Stone of Aja. It is not as powerful as the original, as its sole goal was to grant you immunity against the sunlight. Robert wanted nothing more for you to finally step out of the shadows and see the light once again.
At first you were nervous, waiting for the sun to rise where Erina was nothing but supportive as she held your hand in hers with Robert holding the other. You can only close your eyes once the clock strikes and dawn falls upon the residence. You can feel the warmth on your skin and you feared what once you open your eyes, you would see your skin catching on fire. A shuddering gasp from Erina and Robert had made you open your eyes to see them with tears brimming their eyes, her figure basked in daylight. Looking down, you see sun rays touching your skin again, a tear rolling from your eye. Erina and Robert embrace you out of joy, thanking.
Before you can wrap your arms around them you feel Joseph engulfing all three of you in his arms, even lifting you out of joy. As Elizabeth approached to see the scene up close, she was pulled in by Joseph.
- The day would come where you would lose the friends you love is inevitable and would sting the most.
Erina Joestar ate age 81 in 1950. You have only met him when you had to take care of your dear Jonathan after his first fight with Dio and you were fast friends through your mutual care of Jonathan. Since then you have been close, having been there for each other when one needs comfort and a shoulder to cry on, and to help each other in general. Always so kind and gentle, yet so fierce and strong that she is able to power through all the tragedies life has thrown at her direction.
Had given nothing but love to everyone around her; George, Elizabeth, Joseph, Robert, you. She stood as a mother figure to her students and had loved them like she would her own children. She died surrounded by loved ones and knowing that she had achieved all her goals in life without succumbing into the deep tragedy Dio had caused her. You were happy Jonathan had married her. You were glad to have met her.
Robert at age 89 in 1952. He was a dear friend, often offering the shirt off his back. There was no greater honour than being generous and kind that despite his rough upbringing, he manage to change for the better and help those who come from the rough parts he used to reside in, he never wanted the youths to grow up in such environments and fight to survive. He wanted to provide them education, opportunities for a bright future, a better upbringing. Heroic until the very end of time, as he will continue to help families even in his death.
He died surrounded by loved ones. His friends, family, and the families of those he had helped. You were glad Jonathan had a friend like him. You were glad to have met Robert.
- True to his word, the Speedwagon foundation have always been there for you. The one who had inherited the company was one of the scholars from the slum Robert had saved from the life of crime now runs the foundation and in his fierce loyalty to Speedwagon, in in turn, loyal to you. Fulfilling Robert's wish, you were provided the necessities from your blood bags, travel funds, but most importantly, a new identity.
You use your new identity to become a doctor once again, assisting the Speedwagon foundation in every medical endeavour, your very first work as a doctor under a new name providing help with the charity work to distribute needed vaccinations to in need, giving back to the Speedwagon foundation as much as you can buy helping them fulfill what Robert had intended to do even in death, to help others in need.

England 1881, age 12
Standing at the sink, you wash the plates that had been used for that morning’s breakfast.
Your father sat at the new table he had just bought. It was a lot nicer than your previous one, and big enough so you weren’t constantly hitting each other’s feet. He said he got it at a discount. He’s currently reading the latest paper, with a cup of coffee that sits on the table. You examine his face.
“You look tired.”
“Huh?”
He turns his attention away from the article to look at you. He grins reassuringly.
“I’m fine, just haven’t had my coffee yet.”
Picking up the cup, he brings it to his mouth before taking a big gulp. He has a sour expression when he lowers the mug.
“Bleh! What a rip-off. I shoulda know that guy was dodgy.”
Although he says he’s fine, you can see how exhausted he is. If working all night at the pub wasn’t enough, he had somehow managed to get his hands on blacksmithing equipment so he’s been taking commissions during the day as well. You finish rinsing off the dishes, drying your hands on a rag.
“Why don’t you quit your bartending job? The money you get from your orders would be enough to support us.”
“It’s not that simple kiddo.”
You sit at the opposite end of the table.
“Why not? You’ve been getting good with the anvil and your customers like you. I’m sure that they wouldn’t even mind if you raised your prices a bit.”
“It wouldn’t be enough to send you to school.”
You pause, a little surprised. Your father never had enough money to enrol you in an institution, so he made do with teaching you himself. Bringing home books left behind at the pub and reading them with you. Fortunately, you managed to pick up some stuff. But you never imagined going to an actual school would be possible for you.
Covering your shocked expression, you give him an offended look paired with an over-the-top snobby voice.
“Are you sir, implying that I am stupid? Why, I am simply appalled!”
He chuckles at your amazing display.
“No, that’s exactly why I want to send you to school. There’s nothing left for you to learn here. Besides, it’d be a good opportunity to make some new friends.”
Putting emphasis on ‘friends’ in hopes of enticing you. You pout at this.
“I have Erina…”
He smiles apologetically at you.
“I know you do kiddo. All I’m saying is I want you to have options.”
Staying silent for a moment, your eyes drift to the article that now lay on the table.
“I could always get a job selling newspapers…”
You suddenly feel a stinging sensation on your forehead.
“Ouch!”
Looking up and rubbing the now sore spot, you realise your father had just flicked you.
“Enough worrying about that, that’s my job. Your job is to be a kid.”
He looks out the window.
“Didn’t you say you were hanging out with Erina today?”
You’re immediately reminded and your face lights up.
“Oh yeah! She said she wanted to show me something, she was pretty excited.”
“Well then you should probably get to it.”
He gives you a lopsided grin.
“Ya know, that whole being a kid thing.”
Beaming at him, you get up from your seat and round the table to hug him.
“Thanks dad.”
He returns the hug.
“No problem kiddo.”
Departing from the house, you make your way to meet with Erina. The two of you had made the ruins near the Joestar manor your go-to hangout spot. So there was no doubt she would be there. And just as you thought, she was there. What surprised you were the two other people that were near her. Two boys, and they were dangling something over Erina’s head. You start to hear cackling when you get closer.
“Please just give her back!”
“Lemme guess Erina, your daddy bought you this doll didn’t he?”
He leaps out of the way when she tries to retrieve the doll.
“It’s fancy, Being a quack must pay him real nice. I know…”
He turns to his friend.
“What do you say we peel off this fancy-looking dress and see if they made her with all the real girl bits underneath?”
They laughed more as Erina began to cry.
Charging forward, you roughly shoved the boy holding the doll. You caught him off guard so he hit the ground pretty hard. Upon getting a good look at the two, you recognise them. They’ve been harassing you and Erina for the past couple of weeks and wouldn’t leave you alone. But they’d never been so bold before, and now you were pissed.
“How many times do we have to tell you to piss off?!”
Your collar is suddenly snatched up by the other boy, he scowls at you.
“You’ve got a lot of nerve.”
He balls up his fist and Erina starts rushing over to help you.
“[Name]!”
“Don’t think just cause you’re a girl I’m gonna go easy on ya!”
“That’s enough!”
Everyone freezes at the new voice. Turning your head towards the sound, there’s a blue-haired boy who looks about the same age as you. His expression is filled with rage and your eyes trail to his clothes. They’re high quality, you tense slightly when you realise he must be on the wealthier side. He starts sprinting towards you.
“Let that girl go now!”
At this point the boy you shoved is on his feet and running towards the newcomer.
“Who’s this guy?! Are you a friend of theirs?”
“I’ve never met them but I’ll fight for them all the same!”
The one holding you hostage had his focus on the other two, so you take the opportunity to land a swift kick right in between his legs. He immediately falls to his knees, clutching his crotch and letting out a pitiful whimper.
You look over when you hear a pained grunt, the boy with blue hair was kneeling on the ground pressing a napkin to his nose. Instinctively, you shift closer to Erina.
“Are you alright [Name]?”
You nod.
“You?”
“This little pantywaist is the Joestar kid!”
Your eyes widen, Joestar? As in the Joestar family? As in one of the richest families in the country? That Joestar?! Feeling your stomach sink, you imagine what kind of punishment would befall you for getting the son of such a family hurt.
The boy standing over the Joestar kid stares at his friend on the ground, still writhing in pain. He tuts and rolls his eyes as he walks over and yanks him to his feet. He glares at you before turning away.
“Come on, let's go.”
And with that, they finally leave. Erina slowly approaches the blue-haired boy, reaching a hand out to him.
“Are you ok?”
He slowly nods while stuffing his napkin haphazardly into his pocket.
“I’m alright… he did manage to get a decent punch in though.”
Taking her hand, he lets Erina help him up.
“I was trying to help, but it turns out the one who needed help was me.”
He sheepishly chuckles. A moment of silence.
“That was a pretty good kick. I think he’ll be crying for the next few days.”
Your ears perk up. Oh, he’s talking to you.
“Oh, um thank you.”
You bow slightly to the boy.
“Thank you for helping us.”
He quickly shakes his head.
“Please there’s no need. It was the right thing to do. And besides, I didn’t really do much…”
“Oh… ok.”
Straightening your posture, you look at his face. He seems a little sad.
“Well… thank you for trying. It was kind of you.”
There’s a slight glimmer in his eyes, he smiles at you.
“I should probably get going now. It was nice meeting you both.”
He turns and starts jogging towards the manor. He waves back at you.
“Be safe you two!”
You smile and return the gesture, watching his figure get smaller and smaller.
Out of the corner of your eye, you notice Erina crouched on the ground. You walk up to her.
“You ok Erina?”
She nods.
“Yeah, he dropped this.”
She held up a handkerchief, it must’ve fallen out of his pocket. Erina inspects it closer.
“Jonathan Joestar.”
You crouch down next to her to look at the item also.
“Hm, must be his name.”
Looking at Erina, she still has her eyes set on Jonathan. She has a strange expression on her face, like she’s daydreaming.
“Erina?”
No response. There’s a slight tint of pink on her cheeks. Is she not feeling well?
“Erinaaaaaaaaaaa?”
Wait a second… oh. Oh my god!
“You have a crush on him!”
That got her to snap out of her daze.
“I do not!”
“Yeah, because that’s totally why you’re looking at him like this.”
You clasp your hands together and make an exaggerated kissy face. Erina pushes your head down while you laugh.
“Shut it you!”
Feeling the pressure leave your head, you look up to pout at Erina only to find her walking away. Confused, you get up and follow her gaze. On the ground lay the discarded doll, she picks it up and starts examining it.
“Father’s not going to be happy.”
You come closer to get a look, there’s a huge scuff on the doll’s face and the hair was tangled with leaves. You feel a pang of guilt.
“I’m sorry…”
Erina immediately turns in your direction.
“Please don’t apologise, you were trying to help! The ones who should apologise are those boys, not you.”
She gives you a comforting smile.
“Besides, it’s not even that bad.”
Using her sleeve to soften the appearance of the mark, she then smooths out the hair and plucks out the leaves.
“See? Good as new!”
She deadpans when she sees your unconvinced expression.
“Come on you.”
Her arm loops itself with yours.
“Ms Evelynn says we need a change of scenery. Isn’t that right?”
She puts on a shrill voice.
“Absolutely! That boy holding me smelt horrible.”
You giggle and Erina laughs with you.
As you leave the ruins, the two of you see a carriage making its way to the Joestar manor. Your eyes follow it curiously.
“Who do you think that is?”
You ponder for a bit before answering.
“I don’t know, maybe a relative?”
Jonathan arrives home, wiping his nose with the back of his hand. There’s the sound of a carriage and he stops in his tracks. Turning to the vehicle, he watches as the door swings open and a suitcase comes crashing out. Shortly followed by a boy with blonde hair. He goes over to greet the new face.
“You must be Dio Brando right?”
Dio smiles at him.
“And you’re Jonathan, heir to the Joestars.”
Jonathan smiles back at him.
“Yes, but please call me JoJo. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
Bark Bark!
A white German Mastiff with black spots comes rushing out, excitedly wagging its tail. Jonathan turns to the dog and crouches.
“Danny!”
He looks back at Dio.
“That’s Danny, he’s my dog as well as my most loyal friend. Don’t worry, he knows better than to nip at strangers.”
The big dog eagerly runs up to Dio.
He delivers a harsh kick to the dog’s snout. Danny thumps to the ground, wincing. Jonathan immediately gets into a defensive position.
“What was that for?!”
Dio readies his fists.
“Fighting already?”
Standing at the entrance of the manor stood Jonathan’s father, George Joestar.
“I would know about this.”
Dio instantly lowers his hands and bows to the man.
“Sorry, the dog jumped at me and in my haste, I struck it.”
George gives him a sympathetic smile.
“Please, come inside.”
He turns back and walks into the manor, followed by Jonathan and Dio.
“Welcome to the manor. Consider yourself a part of the family.”
He addresses the servants.
“I would’ve died in the crash that claimed my wife were it not for Dio’s father. You will treat him as you would my own son.”
They bow at his words.
“Very well your lordship.”
He turns his attention back to Dio.
“This is your home now Dio. Please avail yourself to all its comforts.”
He lowers his head once again before the man.
“Thank you sir, for taking in this poor unfortunate.”
George grins while placing his hands on Jonathan’s shoulders.
“JoJo has lost his mother as well, and you’re the same age. You’ll be thick as thieves soon.”
He looks at Jonathan.
“JoJo, Dio didn’t mean to hurt Danny.”
He hesitates before answering.
“Right… I suppose if a strange dog jumped at me, I’d be surprised too.”
Although Jonathan had hoped Dio’s apology would’ve been more sincere, he knows they’ll be living together. Better to make friends rather than enemies.
“This way Dio, I’ll show you your chamber.”
George says as he ascends the stairs to the second floor. Dio trails behind, making eye contact with a strange stone mask that hung on the wall.
“Yes sir.”
Jonathan kneels to pick up Dio’s suitcase.
“Ow!”
Dio held Jonathan’s wrist in an iron grip.
“You’re hurting me, please let go!”
“Watch your hands. No one’s allowed to touch my things without my permission.”
He lowers his voice in a snarl.
“Next time you reach for what’s mine with this paw, I’ll break it.”
“I was only trying to help!”
“Well don’t.”
Dio quickly pivots before elbowing Jonathan in the ribs. He falls to the ground, clutching his side.
“I will have a servant carry them.”
Dio crouches next to Jonathan.
“I may be a guest within your house, but I am not to be trifled with. In all things I do, I am number one. Look down on me and you will regret it.”
His face twists into a malicious smirk.
“And another thing. I hate all mongrels, they don’t scare me. I just despise how they fawn over the unworthy.”
His smirk disappears.
“So keep that mangy mutt of yours well away from me Joestar.”
Mr Joestar’s voice is suddenly heard from upstairs.
“Dio? What’s keeping you? Hurry along now.”
He stands.
“Yes sir!”
And as if nothing had happened, he climbs the stairs once more. Jonathan can’t help the sinking feeling in his stomach as he doubted that this would be the last time they would come head-to-head.
It’s been a couple of days since you encountered Jonathan Joestar. You’ve spent those days at home. There isn’t much to do, you’ve read all the books you have already and you can’t really help your father with his work. So now here you are, lying on your bed and staring at the ceiling like you’re waiting for it to come alive.
Your father thought there must’ve been something incredibly interesting for it to have kept your attention for so long. The blank expression on your face tells him otherwise.
“No plans with Erina today?”
You give him the side eye.
“You wanna get rid of me that badly?”
He shoots you a grin.
“Well obviously.”
He drops the smile.
“Nah I’m just messing with ya. I’m only asking cause you look bored.”
“I know dad… Erina’s grounded cause of the doll.”
Your father frowns.
“What? Why would she get in trouble? It was that boy’s fault.”
“That’s exactly what we said! But her father said it was her responsibility to look after it.”
He sighs.
“Sorry kiddo, looks like you’re stuck with me.”
You shake your head.
“Don’t be, you can be fun… sometimes.”
Your father rolls his eyes as you laugh at your own joke. An idea suddenly pops into his mind.
“I know, why don’t you get out of the house for a bit? Get some fresh air?”
You sit up in disbelief.
“You are trying to get rid of me!”
…
“But that sounds nice.”
Standing up from the bed, you walk over to him.
“I’ll be gracious and grant your wish.”
He dramatically bows.
“Oh thank you, your majesty.
Your father looks up at you.
“Just remember if you go near the river be careful ok?”
“Yeah I know dad.”
Hugging him before leaving the house, you call out behind you.
“I’ll see you later dad!”
You hear him yell back.
“See ya kiddo!”
You find yourself strolling alongside the river, finding the sound of the flowing water soothing. Taking a deep breath, you close your eyes and relish in the gentle breeze.
Bark Bark!
You stop in your tracks and your eyes fly open. A giant dog is barreling towards you at a frightening pace. Turning, you immediately brace yourself to start running.
“Danny!”
That voice, you’ve heard that voice before.
The dog is too close now and it’s too late to start running. Just as you prepare to defend yourself, it starts circling you. But not like a predator circles its prey, it’s more excited… maybe even playful?
A familiar-looking boy comes running up to you. Oh god it’s Jonathan Joestar.
“I’m so sorry, this is my dog Danny. I promise he doesn’t bite! He just forgets that he’s a big dog.”
His eyes widen slightly as they fall on your face.
“Oh, hello again! I didn’t think I’d run into you again so soon.”
You shuffle nervously as Danny begins to sniff you, giving a little wave to Jonathan.
“Heh… hi.”
He watches as you give a cautious wave to the German Mastiff.
“Is this your first time seeing a dog?”
You shake your head slightly.
“No, I’ve seen strays before, but they’re not the friendly type.”
“Ah, I see.”
Jonathan slowly holds a hand out to you.
“May I?”
You’re a little suspicious.
“What are you going to do?”
“I just want to show you something.”
There’s something in the way he looks at you that puts you at ease. Hesitating, you place your hand in his. He starts moving it towards the dog.
“It’s alright.”
Jonathan reassures you as he feels you tense. Danny starts sniffing your hand.
“He just wants to get to know you.”
He starts licking your hand and you giggle at the feeling. Jonathan lifts your hand to start petting Danny’s head. His tail starts wagging.
“See? He likes you.”
The corner of your lips upturn slightly as he nuzzles into your hand, but then suddenly he lets out a huge yawn. Jonathan looks down at him.
“Are you tired Danny?”
The big dog moves from underneath your hand to find a comfortable space on the grass to lie down. Realising he still had a hold on your hand, Jonathan timidly lets go before clearing his throat.
“We didn’t get the chance to properly introduce ourselves before.”
He extends his hand once again, as a form of greeting this time.
“My name is Jonathan Joestar, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”
Smiling warmly, he adds.
“But please, call me JoJo.”
You smile back, reaching to shake his hand.
“[Name] Clarke, it’s nice to meet you too JoJo.”
Once his hand leaves yours, he gestures towards the German Mastiff.
“Danny and I weren’t doing much before you arrived. If you’re not doing anything at the moment, would you like to join us?”
You go to refuse.
“I wouldn’t want to intrude.”
“Nonsense! You are more than welcome to stay.”
Pausing for a moment, you look into his eyes to see seemingly sincere hope.
“Ok sure… I would like that.”
Jonathan’s face lights up as he guides you over to where Danny is sleeping.
“I’m glad you said that, don’t get me wrong Danny is great but it’d be nice to have some human company.”
You nervously laugh as the two of you sit. I mean how could you not be anxious? The son of one of the wealthiest families wants to hang out with you. Observing the differences in your clothing for instance, you can’t help but feel a little self-conscious.
“Your friend’s not with you today?”
Looking back at him, you snap back to reality.
“No, she couldn’t come out today.”
“Oh, was she busy?”
“Heh… yeah something like that.”
“Ah ok, that’s understandable.”
He beams at you.
“So tell me about yourself [Name]. What do you like to do? I come here to play with Danny just about any chance I get.”
“Uh, I guess I like reading. My dad brings me books that are left behind at the pub.”
“Your father’s a bartender? That’s exciting! What does your mother do?”
You pause.
“I don’t know much about my mother. She uh, was sick when I was born and passed away not long after.”
The smile on Jonathan’s face drops. Oh no you’ve made it awkward.
“I’m sorry to hear that [Name]. If it’s any consolation, my mother passed when I was young as well.”
Your eyes widen slightly.
“You don’t know much about your mother either?”
Jonathan shakes his head.
“Just from what my father tells me. He said that she died protecting me.”
You think for a little before you respond.
“She sounds like she was a brave woman JoJo.”
He gives you a small smile.
“I’d like to think so. I’m sure your mother was a wonderful woman as well.”
Feeling a little more at ease, you return the smile and nod.
“Seems like we have a lot in common [Name]. Surely this means that our meeting was fate.”
“You believe in fate?”
Jonathan's smile turns cheeky.
“Would it be a bad thing if I did?”
You return with a teasing smirk.
“Nooooo. I just didn’t peg you as the type.”
“Oh? Then what kind of person exactly did I strike you as?”
“Ok, I’m choosing not to answer because that is most definitely a trap.”
Your conversation is interrupted by a loud huff from Danny. Seems like you and Jonathan had gotten a little too lively and woken up the poor dog. The both of you exchange a look before quietly giggling.
“Come to my boxing match tomorrow. It’s being held not too far from here.”
Jonathan whispers to you.
“If you want to, that is.”
You haven’t known Jonathan for long, but there’s a genuine kindness to him that makes you want to get to know him. Besides, your father did say he wanted you to make more friends.
“I don’t see why not.”
There’s a shuffle in the grass followed promptly by a weight on your legs. You’re spooked at first, but it’s immediately quelled once you see who had decided to use your lap as a pillow.
“Hey there.”
You say, patting Danny’s head softly. As he closes his eyes you turn to Jonathan.
“Be careful JoJo, looks like I might start being Danny’s favourite person.”
He gives you a look of disbelief.
“As if!”
He starts patting his legs to get Danny’s attention.
“Come on! Come here boy!”
No response. You stifle a snicker.
“Sorry JoJo, looks like the process has already begun.”
“Hmph! I’ll win him back.”
Despite the fact he’s pouting, you can see the tiny smile clinging to the corners of his mouth. He directs his head at Danny.
“You do know you’re supposed to be my dog right?”
A huff is the only answer he gets and you can’t help but laugh.
“Woah slow down there kiddo.”
You look up from your plate to see your father’s slightly amused face.
“The food isn’t running away.”
Smiling sheepishly, you swallow the breakfast in your mouth with a comically loud gulp.
“Heh, sorry.”
“Need to be somewhere today?”
You smile brightly at him.
“Mhm! I made a new friend yesterday.”
“That’s great [Name]! So you’ve got plans with this kid?”
“Yep!”
“What do you guys have planned for the day?”
You stop mid-bite. Would he let you go if you tell him it’s a boxing match?… probably not.
“We’re just going to play near the river.”
He grins and you resume eating.
“Well, it’s good that you’re making new friends. I’m glad.”
You give him a quick smile as he goes back to the newspaper in his hands. That smile fades slightly as you think about your conversation with Jonathan.
“Hey dad?”
He looks back up from his paper.
“Yeah kiddo?”
“…Can you tell me about mum?”
Your father is a little taken aback. You never really asked about your mother since your dad was always good at looking after you, and you didn’t feel like anything was missing in that retrospect. So it must’ve shocked him a bit. Nevertheless, he puts down the article and pushes it to the side.
“What do you want to know?”
You shrug.
“Anything.”
He leans on the table while looking out the window, trying to find where to begin.
“Well, the first time I saw your mother I thought she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. I found out we went to the same school but I was too shy to say anything to her.”
A look of fondness makes its way onto his face.
“It’s a little funny how we met. Growing up I was always on the scrawnier side, so I got picked on a lot by the other kids. I remember it so clearly… they were about to force my face into some cow shit.”
Your face scrunches up in disgust and your father laughs.
“Gross right? I was this close to touching it but then… she’s there, ready to save my ass. She started swinging around this big stick and screaming at them to get off me. They were so scared that they took off straight away. Hell, she even scared me a little bit… she saved my ass a lot of times actually.”
His eyes fall on the jewellery hanging on your neck.
“She loved that necklace… and she loved you. I see her in you every day.”
He clears his throat as his eyes begin to water.
“But it’s painfully clear you got your devilish good looks from me.”
Laughing, you lightly roll your eyes. Silence falls over you two for a moment.
“I’m sorry if I made you sad.”
Your father shakes his head.
“No, it’s good that you want to know about your mum. I should’ve told you more about her a long time ago.”
You offer him a sympathetic smile.
“You’re telling me now, that’s all that matters.”
He returns with a bittersweet one of his own.
“You should probably get going now, wouldn’t want to keep your friend waiting.”
Oh god you had almost forgotten!
“Right!”
Quickly standing from your seat you give your father a quick side hug before dashing out the door.
“Bye dad!”
You miss the warm smile on his face as you disappear out the door.
“Later kiddo.”
Nearing the spot Jonathan had mentioned, you see a crowd surrounding fences that make up a ring. You hope you’re not late! Finding a small opening amongst the people, you situate yourself and fortunately you have a decent view. Jonathan’s standing in the centre with another boy in a suit. You presume that he’s the referee.
“Our first pugilist up is Jonathan Joestar!”
Jonathan holds a gloved fist in the air as the crowd starts to cheer. When sees you in the sea of people his face brightens. He sends you a subtle wave that you return.
“He’s been looking stronger lately I’d say. As his opponent for today, it’s a boxer we haven’t seen before.”
Everyone goes silent as he turns his focus to the side.
“He’s a newcomer to our fair city. All we know is his name.”
People around you begin to whisper as they follow where the referee is looking. You do the same, trying to catch a glimpse. There’s a boy with blonde hair on the ground tying his gloves, when he looks up your eyes widen. You get a nagging sense of familiarity when you examine his face, but you can’t put your finger on it. It’s only when you hear the referee announce his name that you remember.
“Introducing our surprise opponent, Dio Brando!”
He stands and makes his way to the ring. His eyes never leave Jonathan as he enters. Ok, thank goodness he didn’t see you. Well, it’s a little presumptuous to think he would recognise you from your one little interaction… right?
“Same as ever. Land a hit to the other guy’s face and the match is over. Now, fight!”
A bell signalling the start of the match rings through the air and the crowd cheers for Jonathan.
“Get him JoJo!”
“Take him down!”
Jonathan charges at Dio and throws a hefty punch only for him to swiftly dodge out of its path. Slightly caught off guard Jonathan tries again but Dio avoids that one as well. This cycle continues as people watch on in astonishment.
“Look at him dodge those hits!”
“I’ve never seen the like!”
Jonathan starts getting desperate and you get worried when you see Dio change his stance. Just as Jonathan throws another punch Dio goes on the offensive and lands a brutal uppercut to his stomach. Jonathan struggles to recover from the blow, but Dio doesn’t allow him that reprieve and sends a harsh fist into his face. The hit sends him flying into the ground with a heavy thud.
“There it is! JoJo loses the fight!”
Roars of applause surround you as the crowd leaps the fence to congratulate Dio. You waste no time climbing the fence as well and rush to Jonathan.
Crouching down, you see there’s a streak of blood running down from his left eye. He winces as you gently tilt his head to get a better look at it.
“JoJo, are you ok?”
“Do take care that nobody shows it to JoJo, He can’t keep a secret to save his life.”
Your ears perk up as you hear them talk about Jonathan. The fact they had just been cheering for him mere minutes ago and were now sneering at him made you angry.
“You shouldn’t dirty your clothes, kneeling on the ground like that. There’s no need to concern yourself with someone like him.”
Turning around, you meet Dio’s gaze. There's a faint change in his expression when his eyes fall on your face. He doesn’t seem all that different from when you last saw him, besides the fact he was taller now. But the look in his eyes, there’s something different about them. His stare was still very much intimidating but it felt… colder. You can’t help the startled feeling you get the longer you look at him.
“Leave her alone.”
Your attention is snapped back to Jonathan when you feel a strong arm wrap around your shoulders. He pulls you closer to him, in an almost protective hold.
“Not everyone has to listen to what you say, Dio.”
Dio doesn’t react at first, but then he chuckles.
“It was merely a suggestion JoJo. But if I did somehow over-step, I sincerely apologise.”
One of the boys in the crowd has an aghast look on his face as he butts into the conversation.
“You don’t gotta say sorry to him Dio!”
You’re about to say something when you notice that Jonathan is trembling. Although he’s putting on a brave face, he was without a doubt still in a lot of pain.
You say his name to get his attention, looking at him pleadingly when his head turns to you.
“Let’s just go.”
He hesitates for a moment before softly nodding. Struggling a bit, you help Jonathan to his feet and let him lean on you for support. Everyone had turned their attention back to Dio so nothing eventful happened as you left the ring. But there was one pair of eyes that followed you as you walked along the river.
Jonathan hisses as you clean up his face as gently as you can. Neither of you had a rag on hand so you managed with your hands and some water.
“Sorry.”
“Don’t be, [Name]. It’s not your fault.”
His expression is filled with guilt.
“I’m sorry if Dio frightened you. I didn’t know that he would be my opponent.”
You’re a little confused.
“Do you know him JoJo?”
There’s a slight pause as Jonathan looks at you with worry, like he’s afraid to tell you. Eventually, he just sighs.
“He’s my brother.”
You do a terrible job of hiding your surprise.
“I think I should clarify, his father just passed and my father decided to take him in. So technically speaking, he’s my adopted brother.”
The initial shock wears off and you continue to tend to Jonathan’s face.
“Are you two not on good terms?”
He shakes his head slightly.
“We haven’t gotten along since the moment he arrived. I feel as though he hates me, but I don’t know what I could have possibly done to warrant his wrath. And no one believes me when I share these thoughts, even my father seems to favour him over me.”
You stop your work, looking at Jonathan in earnest.
“I’m sure that’s not true JoJo.”
“You don’t see the disappointment in his eyes when I do something wrong. He constantly points out the differences between me to Dio because he’s more graceful and is better than me at everything… it makes me think he wishes Dio was his son instead of me.”
Failing to find what words to say, you slowly start washing his cheek again. You’re an only child, so you don’t know what it’s like to have your father compare you to someone else. And he never placed such expectations on you so you find it difficult to relate. So for now, all you can do is try to cheer him up.
“Ya know, there’s one thing that you’ve got Dio beat in.”
Jonathan gives you a doubtful look.
“And what would that be?”
“You’re much more handsome than he is.”
His eyes widen in shock.
“P-pardon?!”
“Mhm it’s true, after getting a good look at his face there’s no way he can even compare.”
A blush makes its way onto Jonathan’s face when you suddenly bring him closer. With furrowed brows, you begin to ‘inspect’ Jonathan’s features.
“Nice eyes… your nose has a good shape to it… and my what lovely cheekbones you have!”
You give him a lopsided grin.
“I would know, I’m a professional.”
It’s then that Jonathan realises what you were trying to do and he smiles.
“Thank you.”
Smiling back, you release him from your grasp.
“No problem.”
His mood seems to have lightened up, but you feel the need to add on one more thing.
“But on a serious note, even if your dad says stuff about you, don't feel like you need to change or anything. Right now your only job is to be a kid. Hehe, or at least that’s what my dad tells me.”
He doesn’t say anything for a moment and suddenly you feel a little embarrassed.
“Sorry if that sounds immature! All I’m saying is don’t stress too much about things out of your control!”
Jonathan starts laughing and you bury your flustered face in your hands.
“No, what you said actually made me feel a lot better.”
Feeling a tap on your head, you look up.
“I’m glad I met you [Name].”
As you felt your heart melt a little, you smile at him.
“Me too JoJo.”
You tilt your head in thought.
“So does this make us friends?”
Jonathan beams at you.
“I believe that it does.”
“Cool! Cool… oh! There’s someone I want you to meet. Do you remember my friend? The blonde girl?”
Jonathan gives you a curious look on his face.
“I think so.”
“Her name’s Erina, the two of you would get along. She really likes you.”
You realise you messed up when you see his confused expression.
“I-I mean I think she’ll really like you! And you’ll really like her ‘cause she’s super nice… heh.”
He fortunately buys your bluff.
“That sounds great! When can I meet her?”
“I’ll check if she’s free tomorrow, is that fine with you?”
Jonathan nods.
“It’s settled then!”
The sun glares in your eyes as it starts to set.
“Oh, it’s later than I expected.”
You started to get up but there’s still something that worries you. You bring a hand to Jonathan’s face, turning it to look at his eye.
“You should probably get this looked at, since it was bleeding quite a lot.”
There’s a pause before he answers.
“R-right…”
Standing up, you dust off your clothes before walking away and bidding Jonathan farewell.
“Tell Danny that his favourite person said hi!”
He shakes his head while softly laughing as he waves goodbye to you.
Night came much sooner than you had anticipated. You walk under a sky full of stars, still a little ways away from home. It’s not like you were scared necessarily, but you couldn’t shake the feeling you were being watched.
As you’re walking, something catches your eye. There’s a figure leaning on a tree not too far off the path. It’s too dark to see who it is. The figure pushes themselves off the tree once you start getting closer. You stop, waiting to see what they do.
The person starts moving towards you, you take a couple of steps back and that’s when they finally speak.
“There’s no need to be scared, I’m not going to hurt you.”
Your heart stops when you recognise the voice. Once he gets close enough you see that it’s Dio that stands in front of you.
“Do you remember me?”
Does he remember you? Not wanting to risk it, you decide to play it safe.
“You’re Dio, right? You were Jonathan’s opponent in today’s match.”
A smirk tugs at the corner of his lips.
“That’s correct, and you’re [Name] Clarke.”
“Uh yes, that’s me… how exactly do you know my name?”
“I have my ways.”
His evasiveness unnerves you a little.
“Well I should get going now, nice meeting you Dio.”
Shooting him a quick smile, you quickly step around him and start walking again.
“Allow me to walk you home.”
Before you can react he’s already beside you.
“It’s dangerous, walking home alone at night.”
You don’t want him knowing where you live.
“That’s nice of you but you really don’t have to-”
“Please [Name], I insist. It won’t take long.”
What does he mean by that?
“You seem close with JoJo. Say, how long have you known each other?”
He looks at you, waiting for your answer.
“We met yesterday.”
“Is that right? So you don’t know…”
You give him a questioning look.
“Don’t know what?”
Dio wavers for a moment, looking at you with worry.
“It may not be my place to say this, but JoJo isn’t the most reliable of people. It might be within your best interests to avoid him.”
First, he talks bad about him to those people and now you? What is his goal?
“Is it alright if I ask you something Dio?”
He smiles and speaks to you in an inviting tone.
“Of course [Name].”
“Do you hate Jonathan?”
He’s taken aback, before quickly covering it up with an aloof expression.
“Why do you say that?”
“I haven’t spent a lot of time with him, but he doesn’t seem nearly as bad as you make him out to be. And he’s under the impression that you don’t like him.”
His detached facade starts to drop as you look into his eyes.
“Has he done something wrong?”
The air starts to grow tense as you wait for a response. When he doesn’t say anything you think you might’ve made a mistake asking him something so abrasive. Then, he laughs.
“I don’t hate JoJo. It would just be a shame to see you get hurt.”
You feel iffy about his answer. But you decide to let it go, turning your head back to the road.
“I don’t need your protection, whether Jonathan is a good person or not is for me to decide.”
There’s a pause before you hear a soft chuckle.
“I suppose it’s fair that you don’t trust me just yet.”
The pair of you near town and approach the outskirts. Finally. You stop at one of the buildings and in the distance, you can see your house.
“Ok this is it, you don’t have to walk with me any further. I can make it home from here.”
Dio doesn’t say anything in response. Feeling a little awkward, you speak again and go to leave.
“Thank you for walking me home. Uh… bye.”
“It’s funny.”
His voice causes you to stop in your tracks.
“This is the town I lived in when I was growing up. To think, we’ve never once met each other until now.”
Nervously, you turn your head back to Dio.
“Heh, yeah. That is weird...”
He starts advancing closer. You subconsciously step back to keep the distance between you two. But then your back hits the wall, and he’s right in front of you.
“I’m curious [Name].”
Dio looms over you as he leans down to stare into your eyes.
“Since you fancy yourself a judge of character, what do you think of me? Would you say that I’m a good person?”
Dio doesn’t leave any room for you to hide from his piercing gaze. It’s then that you’re acutely aware of the situation you’re in. At this point, you just want out.
“I-I don’t know.”
A moment passes by, and he smiles.
“Goodnight [Name].”
He straightens his posture, turns and leaves. Once he’s left your sight, you let out a breath you didn’t realise you had been holding. Not wasting a moment longer you make your way home, longing for a good night’s rest.
You try not to think about the events of last night as you make your way to Erina’s estate. Since you made plans for Jonathan and Erina to meet today, you hoped that she would be allowed to go outside today. And fortunately there she stood on her porch with a basket, looking like she was just about to head off somewhere.
She spots you and eagerly waves to you. You wave back as she makes her way to you.
“Hey [Name]! I’m surprised to see you here, did you miss me that much?”
You wordlessly bring her into a hug, she is slightly confused when you let out a heavy sigh.
“Heyyyy…”
She looks down at you.
“Are you ok [Name]?”
You pull back from her and nod.
“Yeah I’m ok.”
You gesture to the basket in her hand.
“What’s that?”
She perks up at the mention of the item. She holds it up so you can see the contents.
“Do you remember the boy from the other day, Jonathan Joestar? He dropped his handkerchief so I thought I’d return it to him.”
She points to the fruit underneath the napkin.
“And some grapes as a thank you.”
“Oh wow. That’s great Erina! I’m sure he’ll love it.”
Her cheeks turn a light pink.
“I hope so.”
You smile knowingly.
“In fact-”
You loop your arm with her free one.
“Let’s go meet him right now.”
“W-what?!”
She shouts as you drag her in the direction of the river.
“He said that he spends a lot of time at the river, he’s probably there right now.”
The blush on Erina’s face had worsened tenfold.
“I-I was just gonna drop this off to him! And how do you know he’ll be there?!”
You shush her with an unfazed expression.
“I’ll explain on the way.”
Sending Erina off with a thumbs up, she gives you the death glare. She’s outraged that you decided to throw her in the deep end. You hold back a snort when Jonathan spots her and she instantly becomes a blushing mess. Knowing that they’d be fine on their own, you sneak away to avoid being spotted.
Now, well… now you don’t know what to do. It’s still pretty early in the day so you don’t want to go home just yet. And plus it's lovely outside, why not enjoy it for a bit?
Finding a nice spot next to the river, you sit and let the grass travel through the gaps in your fingers. Although it was still a little hot, the tree you’re sitting under provides some nice shade. You lay down, enjoying the calm atmosphere. Closing your eyes, you listen to the rhythmic rushing of the water. You’re so relaxed that you almost fall asleep, but then you feel something lick your face. Your eyes shoot open and you’re perplexed by who you see.
“Danny?!”
Ruff!
He continues to coat your face in dog slobber. You sit up trying to usher him off you.
“Bleh! Get off Danny, that's gross!”
You put a hand on his hand and he instantly settles. It surprises you how quickly he calmed down, but you still scold him.
“What are you doing here? JoJo’s probably worried about you.”
You’re not mad for long though and despite your best efforts, you smile a little.
“You’re lucky you’re cute.”
“Is this mutt bothering you?”
Danny’s demeanour changes upon the new arrival. He growls at the person behind you before taking off.
“Danny!”
You call after him but it’s no use. Turning around, you see none other than Dio standing there, you give him a look of disapproval.
“No, he was fine.”
Dio’s expression morphs into one of remorse, but for some reason you think it’s of the false kind.
“My apologies, would you mind if I accompanied you in his stead?”
Just as you’re about to respond Dio takes the liberty of taking a seat right next to you.
“Why yes Dio, of course you can sit with me.”
You say in a sarcastic tone. He smiles at you, either ignoring the way you answered or just completely oblivious to it.
“It would be my pleasure.”
The two of you sit there for a while, only the sound of the river and various insects filling the silence. It’s a little awkward since you don’t know what to say, so you opt to let the quiet be. But Dio’s the one who breaks that silence.
“I know that you remember me.”
You raise an eyebrow at him.
“Well, I just saw you yesterday. I don’t have the memory of a goldfish.”
He laughs at that statement.
“I’m not talking about yesterday.”
Your eyes widen as he continues.
“That night we bumped into each other, I remember hating you in all honesty. I loathed the way you looked at me like I was a child in need of saving, but meeting you again I feel you saw something that I didn’t.”
Does he somehow know about the dream?
“It was destiny that brought us together again.”
You don’t know what to do besides awkwardly laugh.
“Haha… you sound a little like JoJo.”
Dio’s expression suddenly turns cold.
“Why do you think it is you are so hellbent on befriending our beloved JoJo?”
You’re taken aback by the sudden hostility.
“I’ll tell you why.”
You’re surprised when Dio pulls you by your collar, bringing you closer. He brings the other hand to your chin, holding it between his index finger and thumb as he bores into your eyes.
“It’s because in reality, we are the same. There’s an inferno inside of you that I also see in myself. The will to change the fate that’s been dealt to us.”
What?
“The Joestars are known for the glorious riches they possess. When you found out that Jonathan was a Joestar you decided you would get him to like you. Maybe even marry you. It’d take some time but in your eyes the reward would be well worth it.”
He moves the hand on your chin, running it along your cheek before tucking a stray hair behind your ear.
“Since we’re so alike I’ll make you an offer, abandon this fruitless endeavour. In terms of economical status you’re pretty much worthless so I wouldn’t gain anything if we were to marry, but I’m sure we can figure someth-”
Smack.
Dio’s grasp on you instantly releases and he staggers back whilst palming his cheek. His eyes fall on the hand you had just used to slap him, then your face. And you’re absolutely furious.
“How dare you insinuate I would do something so shallow. Even though we’ve met before, don't forget that you’ve only known me for a day at most. You don’t know me, so stop acting like you do.”
You snarl at Dio as you get up from the grass. You glare down at him.
“Do me a favour and stay away from me Dio. I don’t know why you’re such an unbearable asshole, but I’d prefer to never have to deal with you again.”
Storming off you don’t give Dio the chance to respond, leaving him at the river.
It’s been a couple of weeks since you told Dio you didn’t want to see him again, and fortunately for you he’s been keeping his distance.
You’ve been spending time with Erina and Jonathan, it hasn’t been very often since you wanna give them their space. It got a little lonely, you can’t help but think that the two of them are adorable together, so you try not to mind as much. Although it wasn’t always lonely, Danny would always pop up at the most unexpected times. You honestly don’t know how he manages to find you but you don’t dislike the company.
Today was one of those days, you and Danny had been playing at the river. Jonathan had shown you how to play fetch with him. But the day was coming to an end as the sun was setting.
“Ok, it’s time to go.”
You give Danny a final pat on the head.
“You be safe getting home ok?”
He just stares as you retract your hand. You turn to leave then you suddenly feel a tug on your sleeve. Looking down you see Danny holding onto it.
“No Danny, I have to go now.”
You try to pull your arm free but he’s not budging. You repeat yourself in a firmer tone.
“Danny, let go.”
He starts running down the path, dragging you with him.
“Danny stop!”
You dig your heels into the ground to try and stop but it’s no use and you almost fall on your face. He’s not giving you any chance to stop and keeps running at a rapid pace.
“Dammit Danny I mean it!”
The dog comes to a stop and finally frees you. You grimace at the drool coating your sleeve and scold him.
“What is up with you today?”
It’s then that you hear some sort of commotion further down the path, there’s shouting. You slowly creep towards the sound and you see people there. 3 are standing and 1 is on the ground. You look closer and realise to your surprise it’s Erina that’s on the ground. She’s washing her mouth out with a puddle, what the hell is going on? You rush to help your friend.
“Hey! Get the hell away from her!”
The 3 people turn their heads in your direction and your stomach drops when you see Dio’s face among them. Avoiding eye contact with him, you try to push past them.
“Move, you’re in my way.”
You yelp when one of the boys grabs you by your shoulders, making you face him. You come to the realisation that he’s the one who snatched Erina’s doll.
“Hey…”
He rotates you around as he harshly grips your jaw with his other hand.
“Isn’t this the little bitch that kicked you in the balls?”
His friend’s mouth morphs into a malicious grin as he responds in a taunting tone.
“I think it is.”
You start struggling to get out of his hold.
“Oh no you don’t.”
You’re jerked back around as he grips your neck, forcing you to look up at him.
“We ain’t havin’ a repeat of last time.”
He tilts your head side to side, you don’t like the look in his eyes as he examines your face. You growl and use your arms to try and push him away when he brings you closer.
“You know, you’re not half bad lookin’, maybe even a little cute. You really hurt my friend the other day. But you’re lucky I’m the forgiving type, maybe if you show us just how sorry you are we’ll let you off the hook.”
Their snickering is cut short as a fist comes smashing into the side of his face. He recoils from the impact and his hand drops from your throat. You cough upon the release and bring a hand to rub your neck, thankful that you can breathe properly again.
You look to where the punch came from and see Dio, his hand is clenched so hard that his knuckles are turning white. He’s seething as he walks past you and yanks the boy by his collar.
“You are not to lay your filthy hands on her again, do you hear me?”
He’s gripping the boy’s collar so tight that he’s starting to choke, he brings his hands up to try and pry away Dio’s hands.
“D-Dio-”
“Never again, do you hear me? Do not make me repeat myself.”
They’re alerted to the sound of footsteps running away, they turn their heads towards it but it’s too late, you and Erina have already started running down the path. The boy not in Dio’s hold starts to run after you but the look he gets from the blonde is enough to stop him in his tracks.
Panting heavily as you run, you turn to Erina and see she’s been crying.
“What did they… do to you? Are you ok?”
She shakes her head as more tears fall from her eyes. What she says next is barely above a whisper.
“Dio kissed me.”
Your heart drops as you look at her with widened eyes.
“He what?”
I’m sorry this chapter took a while to come out! I had to keep rewriting Dio’s parts cause I kept making him too nice T_T
