he would laugh at you saying, “i told you so didnt i?”. he would tease you to no end. saying how cute you look wrapped up in the blankets, how he’s your personal doctor for getting medicine for you, and even laughing at your embarrassed face when he feeds you. he does enjoy taking care of you though, it’s one of the rare times he can tease you all day with an excuse. if you happen to need something he’s already on the way to grab it . “it’s a prince’s job to get whatever his dear princess desires” he’d say. even though you’re in a miserable state he always finds a way to brighten up the mood.

“hmm….” he acts like he doesn’t care even though he does. he buys anything you need and just hands it to you, saying “you can do it by yourself.” once he realizes you are too sick to do it he quickly takes things in his own hands. while taking care of you he keeps a straight face but is screaming on the inside. it was a perfect chance to enjoy being near you without making it obvious. he doesn’t mind taking care of you though. wait. he…is…taking care of you? and the way he is so close to his love makes him melt. his cheeks flush a crimson red, when you notice this and mention it he’ll just brush it off. “i must be getting sick because of you.” at the end of the day he’ll give you a kiss on the forehead, “you should listen to me next time” he hopes you don’t so this can happen again.

he’s very sweet, always making sure if you’re okay. he will use words of encouragement, “i’m sorry you’re sick dear, but i promise it will be over soon!” he says as he smiles at you. he’s such a sweetheart, bringing everything you need in an instant. his bright personality makes you forget that you’re even sick sometimes. he kisses you and hugs you as usual even though you warned him you don’t want the sickness to get to him. “i don’t mind if i get sick as long as i get to kiss you!” he also insists he does everything for you. it’s like you don’t move an inch, not even if you need to eat something, he prefers if you let him feed it to you. he wants you to rest the best you can and get better as quick as possible! he loves you a lot and will always find a way to put a smile on your face.

Speedwagon:

In the midst of winter it was unusual to see others wander around the frost land, however it seems a trend had appeared within the town. With the frozen lake creating the perfect ice rink, trying to keep everything perfect Speedwagon suggested it as the glimmer in your eyes glistened.

As the two of you stepped onto the ice, Speedwagon looked a bit hesitant but his eyes sparkled with excitement. You glide effortlessly past him, a playful grin on your lips. “Come on, it’s not that hard!” you called out, and he chuckled, trying to mimic your moves. 

As he wobbled and nearly fell, you reached out to steady him, your hands brushing against his. “A little more confidence!” you encouraged, and after a few tries, he began to find his balance. 

With each lap, he became bolder, eventually managing to spin around and pull you into an impromptu twirl. “I may not be the best skater, but I’m glad to be here with you.” he was met with a soft laugh from you and a small kiss on his cheek “I’m glad you’re here too!”

Caesar:

The ice rink was empty as You and Caesar neared it, nothing but the chilled wind. Placing on your skates you held out your hand, inviting Caesar onto the ice. With a confident smirk, he took your hand and stepped onto the surface, but he quickly lost his balance and fell. You giggled, leaning down to help him up. 

“Okay, maybe I should do a demo first!” After a few graceful laps, you turned to see him watching intently, a hint of determination in his eyes. With newfound focus, he got back up and tried again, this time skating right beside you. 

The two of you shared laughs, and during a break, he playfully suggested a race. As you skated neck and neck, he leaned in closer and whispered, “Looks like I’m not the only one with style.” your face flushed with color as you gave a small laugh.

Despite his attempt to catch you off guard, he was met with a swift kiss on his cheek as you maneuvered like a figure skater. Spinning in the air before landing on one foot, facing him as you smiled mischievously “Nice try Caesar, but you can’t outdo the doer!” finishing in first as he demanded another match.

Kakyoin:

After seeing an advertisement in the paper, you both had decided to go to the new ice rink. Especially since it was the middle of winter with nothing to do, Kakyoin watched you expertly glide across the ice, his heart racing with admiration. 

He smiled to himself, feeling both proud and a bit intimidated. When you skated over to him, you grabbed his hand, leading him to the center of the rink. “Just follow my lead,” you reassured him. With patience, you taught him how to stride smoothly. 

At first, he clung tightly to the railing, but with your gentle encouragement and soft laughter, he gradually stepped away from it. When he finally skated a few laps without help, he spun around, beaming. “Thanks for believing in me,” he said, brushing a strand of hair from his face.

“I had no idea ice skating could be so fun… especially with you.” the smile that bloomed onto your face, radiant as ever, captured him so. Though it did shock him as you spun around him as if you were walking on land before laughing lightly “You’re too sweet Kakyoin…”

Okuyasu:

Everyone seemed to be busy, leaving you and Okuyasu to your own devices. Though with not much reluctance you both agreed to go to the ice rink. However he was not expecting you to be like an angel on ice.

You were practically dancing on the ice, and each of Okuyasu’s wide-eyed expressions made your heart flutter. He was clumsy on skates, but with each tumble, he laughed louder, making you giggle right along with him. 

“This is harder than it looks!” he exclaimed as he crashed into the rink wall, but you only found it adorable. You skated over, helping him up and encouraging him to try again. Even going as far as holding his hands for a few rounds before he gained the courage to do so himself.

After a few falls, he finally managed to skate toward you, arms outstretched for a hug “I did it, (Y/n)! I actually did it!” he declared triumphantly, and as you hugged him back, you couldn’t help but feel that he’d won at this date in a whole new way.

Bruno:

Bruno looked a little out of his element on the ice, but you knew he’d try his best. He concentrated on each move, his brow furrowed in determination. As you demonstrated a few tricks, he watched closely, trying to replicate them. 

With one knee bent as the other was lifted straight, You laughed when he stumbled slightly but quickly caught his balance. “This isn’t as easy as it looks, huh?” he said with a small smile. You skated alongside him, encouraging him with gentle pats on the back. 

“Hey, don’t worry. You’ll be able to do it!” you cheered him on as he gave a soft chuckle before allowing you to hold his hands as he began to mimic your position. Nearly taking you down with him a few times, though you both laughs as he ‘wasn’t as flexible as you’

After a while, he began to get the hang of it, and you both shared a small victory lap together. “See? You’re a natural!” you cheered, and he flashed you a grateful look, heartwarming beneath the stadium lights “Who knows, maybe I will be better than you soon?”

Hermes:

“Hurry up! We’ve got ice to conquer!” Hermes teased, her playful grin making you smile as you stepped onto the rink. Despite her excitement being radiant, you could see her nervousness as she placed a foot down on the ice.

“Here, let me help”, taking her hand before carefully leading her around, but she would use the opportunity to spin you around, sending you into delightful laughter. She struggled a bit at first, but as she watched you glide smoothly, she couldn’t resist showing off. 

“Look at this!” she said as she used her momentum to spin you around once again, her hands grasping your waist as you gave her a curious look. Though allowing her to lift you up from the ice, like the olympic figure skaters you both laughed as you lifted your arms up. 

You two took turns trying to replicate the Olympians, but the competition quickly turned into a laughter contest when both of you slipped and fell into a pile on the snow. Panting from laughter, Hermes looked at you and said, “I may not have won this round, but I definitely feel like I struck gold on this date.”

Gyro:

Gyro was all about showmanship, and he brought his flair even to the ice rink. “I hope you’re ready for some magic!” he exclaimed, then promptly showed off some sleek moves. While you skated gracefully, as he attempted to impress you with his tricks. 

At first, he stumbled a bit, causing you to chuckle, but once he found his rhythm, he couldn’t help but pull you along for a spin. “Let’s make this a duo performance!” he said excitedly. You skated together, working in synchrony while creating your own little routine. 

At the end of your performance, he looked at you with sparkling eyes, “Now that was fun! We should do this again… preferably with less falling!” you nodded as he attempted to do a spin, though he nearly took you down as you attempted to balance him.

“Here let me lift you up!” He said excitedly, motioning you to near as you shook your head and laughed “I think you should master the element of balance before lifting me” you teased as he flashed his golden grills “Nyho~”

Yasuho:

Yasuho was a bit nervous before stepping onto the ice, saying, “I can’t promise I won’t fall!” But with your reassuring smile, she took a deep breath and agreed to try. You skated hand in hand, and she found herself laughing as she slowly got the hang of it with your guidance. 

She admired how effortlessly you moved, her blush deepening each time you encouraged her. At one point, she let go of your hand cautiously, trying a few steps alone before wobbling and falling onto the ice. With a laugh, you skated to her side, your eyes sparkling in delight. 

“Okay, that was a dramatic entrance!” you joked, helping her up. “But you’re doing great!” she laughed alongside you as you helped her adjust her posture, carefully moving her hair from her face with a smile.

“Okay now just keep your feet straight and don’t look down, it’ll only encourage you to lean forward and you’ll fall..” with your guiding words she nodded before doing as she was told. After a few more laps, she turned to you, beaming as she successfully glided towards you, “Thanks for being my coach. This is the best date ever!”

Beached

Joseph was often told that his attention seeking behavior would cause him trouble one day. His elders often scolded him for causing currents in the city, startling fish, and wandering too close to the surface. He'd always laugh at them and quip back something clever that made them angrier. Now he realized they might have been right.

It was a simple bet really; Cesear and he were swimming around causing mischief when the topic of the surface came up. "I bet they've got some pretty hot babes on the surface. Ones with two tails instead of one." Joseph sighed dreamily, causing Cesear to scoff. "The women of the land can't compete with the women of the sea." Typical Cesear, so close minded. A smirk appeared on Joseph's face as a "brilliant" idea came to mind. "Oh Cesear, I think that I can find someone more beautiful than all the merfolk in the sea just by the beach." Cesear's kelp green eyes narrowed. "Your next words are 'You bastardo Joseph, you've got yourself a deal!'" Cesear fell for Joseph's ploy. "You bastardo Joseph, you've got yourself a deal!" Joseph shit eating grin was met with shock and anger from the other merman. "You smug sea devil, get back here!" Joseph giggled to himself as he swam from his friend.

Things were going good for Joseph no merfolk noticed Joseph and Cesear sneak towards the surface. Cesear still kept his underwater, like the bloody coward he is. No matter all Joseph has got to do is scope out the land for some hot babes! Swimming closer and ducking his head underwater when he thought someone might be coming, he eagerly spied on the beach to find... NO ONE?! What gives? It was a beautiful morning, sun rising steadily into the sky water at low tide. Low tide... "OH NO!"

You had just woken up and stretched a bit, this was a great place to vacation during the summer. Beautiful town, friendly people, and the sea. White sand for miles around and clear blue ocean water. You love the Mediterranean! Donning a swim shirt and swim trunks and covering that with a light beach cover up, you slipped on your sandals. You rode your bike through the small town that was peacefully asleep, it was pretty early in the morning. Perfect time to have the beach all to yourself. You were ready for another day of tanning, relaxing, and summer fun. You hop off your bike and walk over to the beach humming a tune that was stuck in your head. (Fav song) gets better each time you hear it. Your peace was ruined by someone screaming, oh my god is that person okay? Running to the source of the noise you found a handsome man. He had a mop of wild brown hair and eyes the color of sea glass. He was tall, tan, and muscular and had no legs. Instead, there was a beautiful green fish tail. The man Stopped his loud yelling and violently slapping his tail to look at you. The merman precedes to flop even harder.

Joseph was stuck and while he was an intelligent bastard he also was a cocky one. He wasn't paying attention to the tides and now was flopping around like a fish out of water. Well, he was one but that was beside the point. "Cesear, move your big tail and help me!" The man was met with bubbles. Oh, so that's how that is, Cesear was laughing at his misfortunes. Fake friend! Joseph was too busy cursing the blond traitor that he didn't notice a pair of footsteps quickly approaching him. A light gasp caused his head to snap over to the creator of the noise. A person who was (short/medium/tall) and had (h/l) (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes. They were wearing baggy cloth that hid their curves from his curious gaze. He found a two tail... a hot two tail! Crap a two tail! Joseph begins flopping harder than before he needed to get out of here. He heard the two tail speak in a language he could not understand as it franticly approached him. Hell no!

Wack! the powerful green tail smacked you straight in the gut, throwing you onto some sharp seashells thoroughly knocking the wind out of you. You were trying to help but this merman just gut punched you with his tail. He frantically made clicking and chattering noises to something in the water you could not see. Another merperson? That didn't matter right now, what did was getting the merman back into the ocean before other people came. The merman looked to be made of pure muscle so there was no picking him up and approaching him from behind would get you smacked again. Maybe you could get some water over to where you are. You crept around the merman and threw your hands up in a sign of nonaggression towards the frightened brunet. the ocean was further than you thought and you didn't have a bucket to pour water on him. Frustrated you sank your feet into the wet sand causing water to fill in the hole you made in the sand. Bingo!

Joseph was confused as to why the two tail was digging a hole at this time. Is that what two tails do when stressed? He'd have to ask Speedwagon but right now he continued to observe the two tail and keep them a tail length away. Continuing to watch he saw water slowly filling the hole they made as the dug up to where Joseph would be making some sloppy aqueduct. Who knew two tails could be smart? Joseph met the desperate (e/c) that held no malice towards him. He was good at reading people and knew the land dweller was no danger to him and was even trying to help. Joseph began slowly inching towards them and the small saltwater river they were making, their hands looked tired, but they didn't stop, even as sweat began to form on their brow. Joseph felt his heart began beating faster not out of fear but something else. They didn't have to help them and yet they were trying, more than some merfolk ever did for him.

You heard a squeak and a splash coming from behind you the merman enters the watery area you made for him and was pushing you with him towards the ocean. You both landed with a plop in the warm waters of the Mediterranean, salt stinging your eyes as you had not been prepared to go swimming right now. Surfacing you gasped for air as you searched for the merman, only to see the green merman circling you like a shark. Did you just put yourself in danger? Plop the merman's head surfaced from the water a cheeky grin on his face. Face only centimeters from your own, he looked like he was going to kiss you. You blushed as you found him handsome but wasn't expecting this, squeezing your eyes shut and turning you head away from him. Nothing. You opened your eyes to look at the merman who looked at you with lips puckered and squirted salt water into your face. Gross! The mermaid disappeared before you could even yell at him for not only scaring the crap out of you but getting salt water in your mouth. You couldn't help but laugh though as the merman was very playful and you didn't mind the water. That was until you saw your shoes floating away from you.

Joseph swam down to a smirking blond with a big goofy grin on his face. "Well Joseph, did you see a land babe?" Cesear mocked him but Joseph was in too good of a mood to pout. He was so close to you, he could have kissed you! However, kissing was sacred in mermaid culture only to be done with mates. He blushed at the thought of you being his mate. You could swim with him, he could introduce you to Cesear, and he could show you his home! His giddy thoughts were interrupted by the sour taste that came to his mouth when he thought of introducing you to Cesear or any other merfolk. He didn't want to do that, you were too precious for them. With that decided he planned hen he would meet his own little two leg again with Cesear chasing after him.
