The void moves and silhouette of a man starting to form as he steps out of the shadows in and into the light. White lenses narrow and softly whir as he literally scans him, searching for information in his database about his armor and weapons. Much to his frustration, there is little information to go on. There's an audible pause as he replies, "You first. Your name and why you're here."

there's multiple slow, confused blinks from the girl as she looks at him, meeting his gaze in slight shock. what happens when two people who were presumed dead cross paths again? well, not sure yet. give her a couple minutes to figure it out. "uh-- yeah, hey, john." she clears her throat. she'd immediately start moving towards him if she was more in tune with her emotions. still working on that. "you doin' okay?"

what kind of person would she be if remained unscathed? the evidence of her struggles remain clear; abrasions to her skin, blood that seeps from wounds, dirt that clings to her clothes. yet she pushes herself to keep going. that will always be her downfall — to push herself further than she needs to.

though when he speaks, her head snaps in his direction with a glare. " i don't need to sit. i need to keep going, " she counters, a hint of annoyance evident in her tone of voice. but it's fairly obvious that she's exhausted.

Such beautiful vibrance in every drop, iridescence like she had only ever seen in the blood spilled of supposed gods. The blood witch is quite enamored in her work, draining the bodies dry of every drop they had to offer, leaving them nothing more than wrinkled shriveled vessels. Each one filling their own bottles at her command, each one filled to almost pop the lead free from its threading. They glistened, glowed, shined with every manner of color.

She takes note of him, and is very much far from intrigued, at his core still nothing but a man. What prickled and bled from him was nothing more than a commoners ichor, far from the resplendent shine of which she so carried now.

Blood red beautiful lips furl rather impatiently into a distasteful grimace. Teeth wound tight, eyes narrowed hatefully.
