Nonny i am going to say this in the nicest way i can.

I hate the concept of eridavekat because i don't see eridan and dave getting along at ALL.

I hc eridan to be clingy (but not easily to be shown, he's only clingy in private, he doesn't like pda) and dave to be chill with whatever affection he gets and he likes pda. Also i hc the both of them get jealous REALLY easily so. Karkat would just be having a rough time

FAQ

Q: Who's running this? A: At time of conception, this is being run by Grayvys and Dragoneisha and Cade, mostly on a Discord server. 

Q: What ships are allowed here? A: All of them.

Q: Oh great I have lots of ships. Of course you're not going to include... those ships, right? A: We will include every ship submitted.

Q: What about Johnjade/Daverose/incest ships? A: The main alien race in Homestuck reproduce via incestuous slurry, and all main characters were created by the sci-fi version of a Play-Doh machine.

Q: What about this thing that Hussie himself confirmed was- A: Hussie has said a lot of things. We can't cherry pick what is and isn't valid. Take this as a statement from us (using Dirk as an example): In some universe, somewhere in Paradox Space, Dirk's probably gay. Somewhere in Paradox Space, Dirk's probably a red-head. Somewhere in Paradox Space, Dirk's probably transgender. In some, he isn't. Homestuck is a queer-heavy webcomic and this will be a queer-heavy zine. The only thing this zine will erase is the absence of ships.

Q: I don't like that. A: That is not our problem. 

Q: I'm going to send you hate. A: Every time we get hate (including mods and participants) I personally add another page to the zine. 

Q: What about platonic ships? A: This is completely allowed! Not all ships have to be romantic.

Q: What can be made for this zine? A: Anything! Recipes, knitting patterns, art, writing - anything creative that encapsulates a) a ship or b) the feeling of openness and acceptance that the ASAC zine is dedicated to. A sculpture, even, if you want to take perspective shots.

Q: What's the timetable? A: Here is the link to our calendar with a few more details.

Q: I want to make Davekat/Rosemary/other canon ship content. A: This is fine, if it's really what you want to do, but there are plenty of zines for that. We want everyone to expand their horizons! If you really want Davekat, do Davekat - but hey, maybe Davesolkat sounds like fun, or Eridavekat! Whatever really gets you excited is good enough for us, but this is about ALL ships - not just the canon ones. In the application we will ask for a joke, please answer with What’s brown and sticky? A Stick. This is to make sure you’ve read the faq.

Q: Speaking of Eridavekat, is polyamory allowed in this zine? A: Absolutely. If you wanted to make something that encapsulates a huge every-main-character polyamorous pile, we'd be behind you.

Q: I'm a minor, can I join? A: Sadly, we're not accepting minors at this time. Opening a zine to minors brings with it a lot of baggage, and while we would love to have you, there have been problems with this in the past.

Q: How is this zine made? A: This will be a digital zine and PWYW when it is released.

Q: PWYW? A: Pay what you want-- the zine will be completely free with the option of PWYW. All money will go to charity.

Q: Which charity? A: RAICES. RAICES is a nonprofit agency that promotes justice by providing free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees.

Q: Why is Dirk the profile picture? A: Dirk deserves love from everyone and I like him.

Not really a DaveKat fan in general, tbh, with the exception of the consideration of DaveKarEzi. So I’d honestly say I’m not too inclined to it. EriKar I’m with, but I dont think I’m for this particular ship trio.
