One of the rules of vampires is to not transform people who are too young and we're seeing with Claudia why it is a very bad idea.

But is there a rule for not transforming people who are too old? I don't want to sound ageist but imagine being stuck for eternity in your older body? knowing that these vampires seem quite vain.

I was thinking about a possible Daniel transformation in the future.I do want to see that though,but because the Daniel Molloy in Dubai seems completely disillusioned and I can't see him accepting the dark gift and this kind of life.

I would even say it looks like he despise the vampires,not Louis and Armand directly but the vampire way of life.

Yeah, but... that's not all there is to him and Armand and their history - yet^^

Canonically the books offer clones and body switches for... well. Body adaption. (Vampires can also replace body parts, even permanently later with Fareed, but that's obviously not applicable here).

I personally would love old vampire Daniel(!), however... given that they already opened up "The tale of the Body Thief" with Raglan James... and given the pic Eric Bogosian posted a while ago on his IG of a wooden coffin... I think that at some point Daniel will be too sick, and then will "transform"/"switch" (whatever way) into a younger body. @cbrownjc has talked about this, too.

I think after s2 Daniel will have remembered quite a lot... and we'll see how his stance on it all is then.

In fact, I could see them a mirror story with Lestat and him and the body thief - Lestat wanting to be mortal, Daniel wanting to be a vampire... Lestat changing his mind and wanting to be a vampire again, Daniel getting the new body and changing his mind and wanting to stay mortal... or a direct parallel for both. IDK, we'll see.

But it surely is no coincidence that Raglan fucking James has been introduced :) (If he actually is who he says he is or not is not really important here^^- I still find the way he introduces himself there weird AF^^)

i had a dream where eric bogosian was an authoritative figure to me (i can't remember if he was like my boss or professor but one of the two) and i was trying WITH ALL MY MIGHT, and i mean DOING EVERYTHING IN MY POWER to get him to fuck me. i mean i cleaned his office up and bought him gifts and he just WOULD NOT get the hint. i woke up before he could actually bend me over and that is my biggest regret.
