The water is blissfully warm, just a little too hot, meaning as they soak, it'll cool down. A foolproof method, Eren thinks, finally submerging her body up to her shoulders.

Hanji sits at the opposite end of the tub, their legs tangling with Eren's. Together, Eren and Hanji fit a little more snug than Eren and Levi, taking into account Hanji's tall stature. But it's cosy, submerged in the lavender scented water with their bodies intertwined.

A deep sigh escapes Eren's lungs and she sinks even further into the water, her toes wiggling to tickle Hanji's skin where they touch. Her muscles relax with the hot water, a long day's work melting away.

"You okay?" Eren checks in with Hanji, fingers reaching through the water to find Hanji's. Hands meet and the digits merge together, adding another body part into the touching, it's always touching with Hanji.

Instead of giving a direct answer to the question, Hanji smiles with all the warmth in the world, their brown eyes softening with the expression, "Love you…"

Eren struggles with who he is; his gender identity and embracing who he truly is when his fate is limited and set in stone. But when Hange goes looking for him he is reminded of their bravery and pride in being who they are, and that helps ease the young boy into accepting who he is, alongside with Hange’s undying and enthusiastic sweet support it becomes a little too easy to be happy for the first time in who they were.

Hello 🤗, just had a fight with a PH shipper. Is PH really semi-canon? Is it really romantic? What's the deal with the "I'll charm her yet" and "I want to feel the heat radiating off it's body" cause PH uses it as an evidence for the ship? Also, do you think PH has potential as a romantic pairing? Cause I don't know, I really don't see it as romantic 😅. It looks more like another version of MH to justify EL. And I'm starting to hate the PH shippers too.

Hello, from my perspective that was just Hange being creepy over titans, just like they blushed and salivated about touching Eren's titan arm. Hange showed no interest in Pieck as a person. Levi even teased them with words "your love for a titan goes unrequitted i see".

As for "i'll charm her yet" that was a gross mistranslation. In actuality Hange said "We'll get along (be friends) soon". There was no "charming" involved there.

So in conclusion no, i don't think it's semi canon unless you consider Erehan semi canon too because Hange was definitely being creepy about his titan on few occasions.

the thing about haircuts

The thing about haircuts, is that they are never easy. Not with Hanji, at least.

They can't stand it, the feeling of a stranger touching them. The sensation of the comb upon their scalp; The pulling and itchiness all make the experience one that Hanji rarely can endure without severe upset.

They hate it and it had always hurt Levi to have them feel that way, so he had taken it upon himself to become their hairdresser. He was versed in keeping his own hair tidy, had been since the first time he chopped it all off in front of the bathroom mirror, heart euphoric and kitchen scissors in hand. How hard could it be to cut someone else's hair, really?

He'd learned, for Hanji. After a few YouTube videos, he was certain of the theory - He only ever needed trim the ends and as long as it wasn't horrendously wonky, it would do. Hanji didn't care at all for perfection.

Hanji didn't care much for hair as a whole really, they would leave it to grow and grow if they had the chance. But their habits only lead to uncomfortable situations like untangling bird nest type knots and hard to wash tresses.

Levi's home salon quickly became routine and he has been cutting Hanji's hair for years. It's still a struggle for Hanji, even if it's Levi with scissors in hand, but it's better. And then when they met Eren, she stepped in to help too, her presence one so calming to Hanji. Levi has always been left wondering how she tames Hanji at all.

So there the three of them are, in the garden path on an early Summer afternoon, Hanji in a chair dragged outside from the dining table and Eren lounging between their legs on the floor.
