HIII hope you're doing well<3 Idk if you're active in here or not or you'll even check this or not, but I just wanted to drop by and say that your writings are such masterpieces!! I hope you never stop writing and lose motivation over it. Your fic "Twisted Fate" was one of the very first Rivamika fic I've ever read and thanx to that I fell in love with the ship so fucking harddd. I wanted to read your other story "Saved by Deception", but I was delaying it caz by reading the summery I got the vibe that it's going to be really angsty, underground, gang kinda fic BUT BOY WAS I WRONG AND CORRECT at the same time!! So, after a whole ass year I finally gave that fic a go and GIRLLLLLLL LIKE HELLO??????? are you sure you're from planet earth and not from some "writing masterpiece fics" planet or some shit?? I LOVED EVERY BIT OF IT SMM. Theres this perfect amount of every element in it that's just chefs kiss fr. The comedy?? The drama?? The suspense?? The angst?? THE SMUT????????? You are such an icon for this. I HOPE you someday get to finish the "Saved by Deception sequel" caz when you do, I'LL BE EATING THAT SHIT UP INSTANTLY AND IK ones again you're going to do a GREAT job with the writing so I'm looking forward to that. Omg lol, I've been kind of inactive in the fandom for a while. I've been... lost? **Depression**

Twisted Fate was my first 'whatever-english-write' thing. I got so frustrated with the way girls looked at the 'relationship' between Eren and Mika as something normal, 'ideal', when in reality, it is not healthy. So I wrote it to contrast Eren's treatment of Mikasa vs Levi's and explain how unhealthy this type of co-dependence can be.

'Saved by Deception' started as a concept when my husband told me to use my real-life technical knowledge as a base for my next story, and from there, I built the idea, thinking about what real-life issues I would like to talk about: fight/flight/freeze response, how victims of r@pe are attacked instead of protected, the science behind disassociation mixed with the biology of what can happen to your body during that moment, lgbt (more like how society sexualize lesbians), and H!tler re-incarnated as a cat bc why the fck not. It didn't end on a cliffhanger, but many things were left without closure that I plan (whenever-the-fck-I-get-my-mojo-back) for the sequel. The court case was lost, so the perpetrators are free (leaders of nations, billionaires, a bunch of people with a lot of power that where in the microship Mikasa's mom left); that will be addressed. Not only Levi's Backstory will be addressed but that entire generation and how everything connects to Mikasa, Levi, and the war of the clans.

Anyway, the other book if you haven't read yet is 'The power of Death' from all of my works; this was the one that has been more personal to me. The main topic is depression (suicidal ideations), but also addresses racism, and other topics like trauma, etc. Comedy has always been my coping mechanism, so it will always be present even when addressing very dark topics. **I'm fun at funerals, or so I've heard, meh.**

Anyway, whenever I find myself again and get my head out of the shadows, I'll start working on the sequel of SBD.

Hi! I've read all of your works, and I absolutely love them, especially the parts about feminism and depression. Will you continue writing fanfiction about rivamika?

I still have to finish part 2 of "Saved by Deception" so I guess, yes. Now, when? It's a tricky question, I have more or less what would be the base of the story but I've been lacking motivation to actually sit and write. But reading comments and questions like this help me to get the motivation needed for this. I'm also a perfectionist, and like to stick as close to reality as possible (hence all the sources of my info at the end of the chapters) and that requires a lot of time of reading books, and research papers... But it'll always be at the back of my mind until I get it over with, so I know I will.

Was reading some old post from Rivamika fellows, when I came across with the panel of old Mikasa visiting Treeren with her family, and a heartbroken thought crossed my mind: What if Mikasa's wheelchair is actually Levi's who gave it to her before he dies because he didn't want to be forgotten by her??? Every time she'd sit in that wheelchair she'd read his name engraved on it and would smile remembering the times when she didn't like him... and if he were there too, he'd be smiling too...

(And he also wrote a letter for her too, confessing his love and how he'd like to be by her side...)

People out here unable to accept the idea of the Ackerman clan being far removed from long ago — that although there IS blood relation technically, it is very small and far spread — but these same people watch the whole scene today of ALLLL THE PEOPLE IN THE WALLS WITH YMIR’S BLOOD IN THEIR VEINS and no one bats an EYE at Eremika, Erehisu, whatever other ship exists.

The Ackerman bloodline was created long ago — SO LONG AGO that Zeke says this:

They also possess a bloodline once thought to exist only in legends told by the royal family. The Ackerman clan, byproducts of Titan science. To be frank, I never want to meet them again.

It implies that the Ackermans began likely a little after Ymir and the Titans arose in power, confirmed to be years and years ago. If the minuscule amount of blood of Ymir connects all people in the Walls, so much that when Eren accesses paths to call to all Ymir-blooded humans, then it should be the freakin same for Ackerman-blood humans.

I don’t give a rat’s ass if they have the same last name because it is canon that their ancestry extends from tales old as legends. Again, it has been clarified SO many times that the Ackerman clan is out spread for years. If it’s okay to ship Ymir’s descendents, it’s also okay to ship Ackerman descendants. People truly get over dramatic about it.

It makes me mad that we have to deal with so much crap just because 90% of the fandom won’t stop to think about it.

Like?? Why the HELL else did neither Levi or Mikasa have any sort of huge reaction to finding out about their connected lineage? If they were truly closely related Isayama would have ABSOLUTELY written them a more familial dynamic, but they reacted like how Eldians found out they were Subjects of Ymir. Like people who found out they came from the same city.

Idk. Just in my feels today lol. It was an intense episode and that hit me hard. They’re all freakin’ related!!!! Technically!!!
