Have you ever seen such a disappointing still?

No okay that was a bit too salty, but considering this synopsis mentions Beast Boy’s Outsiders and not Miss Martian’s covert team, I’m a bit surprised that they weren’t in the picture.

Also who’s arm(?) is it in the bottom left? Who tf wears silver? Am I blind or just stupid? Who knows lolol.

@bookdragonlibrary remembers, unlike me, that Halo’s white aura is the one called on by anger (see ep 03x08) and produces a light strong enough to make shadows be gone (am I the only one getting FMA feels again? Last ep it was a homunculus, this ep is how you defeat Pride... foreshadowing?). Who will be causing this anger? Last time it was Brion getting hurt, so we could assume it’s something among those lines. If not, Halo is probably mad at whoever’s manipulating her, Dr Jace is an excellent guess, also very likely.

Onward! I’ve mentioned it before, but I do believe (and hope) that the Runaways and/or Arsenal will show up this episode, considering Lex Luthor is the villain of the week. Half of the former Runaways are now on the Team (Beast Boy’s Outsiders), and while Tye and Sam are retired, they could still make an apperance and/or help out. Lex Luthor caused all of them a lot of pain two years ago, and revenge they did not get.

Arsenal is also an interesting case. He was kicked off the Team last season by Nightwing (whom he does seem to be on better terms with as of now however, à la ep 03x04) but is still not back to official superhero buisness. His profile stated he works for Will somtimes to make money to be able to pay rent, suggesting he’s not living with Green Arrow either.

In the comics, Roy Harper is an inventor (all those cool arrows GA has? Roy made them!), a creator, and knows his tech. This is lampshaded in the only epsiode he shows up, as he knows how damn cool the Goode Goggles are. In YJ he manages, as a newly thawed 15 year old dominant arm amputee, nearly kill Lex Luthor. He doesn’t, because he gets a better offer, the satisfaction of a weapon. However, I don’t think Roy actually gets to utilise his abilities to the fullest, and I doubt he’s totally okay with Luthor, and wouldn’t hesitate to jump in the fuck him over, again. And yeah having RHatO done RIGHT would be totally awesome (YJ s4 Young Justice: Outlaws, anyone?!)!

Elder wisdom, the title, could be taken in a literal sense, i.e. someone old knowing more than someone young, “older and wiser!”, but that’s a little too easy IMO. Who do we know that’s actually super old... who’s spouts random facts for no reason... smart(er) than they act...
