Honestly, for me, the one who would make the most sense as a "enemies to lovers/kissmissitude" ship with Eridan is Equius and not Sollux. Eridan is one of the highbloods that Equius does not respect (due to the land x sea trolls rivalry) and because they are both nobles (and racists) there would be more room to develop some rivalry between them. What do you think?

A kismesis between Equius and Eridan would work better than Sollux, yeah. Equius does hate Eridan a bit more. Despite that it would have been Gamzee and Eridan since they are the two closest ones on hemospectrum to have a more reasonable land vs sea troll fight, Gamzee is pretty chill with Eridan. Equius fits the bill better. The reason not many ship them together is because Equius mentions that Eridan's advances makes him uncomfortable. Both are mutants in the highblood. Equius for his Herculean strength and Eridan for the hair streak. Both have their own approaches when it comes to their views on lowbloods. Equius sees them as bad influencers that he must keep Nepeta away from. Eridan, though claims to hate land dwellers and wants to kill them all, is friends with some of them and wanted to spare Kanaya for his genocide, showing his hypocrisy. Though Eridan's flirts are creepy, Equius approach is not much better given how much he likes to be ordered around by lowerbloods. And then there's the shit with him and his fascination with Aradia that can be borderline creepy. Him, Eridan, and Gamzee be considered the grossest trolls since they are one that breach the topic of sex in some form whenever they interacted with someone. I also kind like the idea that Equius and Eridan would fight about land hoofbeasts and skyhorses. Eridan thinking skyhorse seahorses are much superior than the muscle hoofbeast that Equius admires. Strength and beauty of a a land creature can go so far if they can't fly. Flying is much cooler. Equius raises the question to Eridan about male sea horses giving birth and how that's much stranger. With endurance and tolerance to pain being high when you reach the highest on the hemospectrum, Gamzee, Feferi, and Eridan would be ones that can handle Equius' strength no problem. Equius would have no problems trying to beat the shit out of Eridan til he's black and....b100? Violet?

Racist, highblood, lonely boys living under the shadow of a higher color (Purple for Eq and Fuchsia for Eri) have so much potential

Equius x Eridan aka EquiEri aka Equidan aka Seahorse is better than Davekat. They both show racism in their own ways while making exceptions to their closest friend (Equius for Nepeta and Eridan for Karkat). Both are the true ideal trolls since Gamzee is at least a little nicer to the lowbloods (Tavros and Karkat) and Feferi wants to coddle the troll race.
