ok but the rarepairs i like are more often than not ships from fics i read that made them work- eriquius probably won’t work in canon, but the seemann au on ao3 made me love this pair. same with eridave and another ao3 fic; it might just be that i like eridan a whole lot and want to see him receive love though orz

I don’t have a lot of thoughts on eridan ships but his loud ass really does well with lower energy characters, I think eriquius would really be interesting in that respect

Not a lot of thoughts on Dave/karkat/sollux either but poly ships r always sick, And Dave n sollux r a good dynamic

Hey got a question! What is your favorite homestuck ship? And who is your fave homestuck character? :D

Oh man, you know how hard it is to pick those? Can’t choose just ONE. I always have several. Especially with how the romance works and how many characters are there. So!

Red ships are simpler. It’s usually Davekat with a sprinkle of EriDave or Eriquius along the way. I do love the alien/human combos more!

Pale ships are a plenty since I have a massive weak spot for well-written pale ships. Most of the characters in the comic deserve a ton of goddamn hugs. So it’s Gamkat, Erikat, EriRoxy, SolDave, Hal and Davesprite, and overall, Dave(s) or Eridan being in WHOLESOME moiralleigance. Also meowrails forever!

My favorites in Homestuck would be, depending on how much I love the character for their character or how much I resonate with them, are: Karkat, Dave, Davesprite, Eridan, Equius, Roxy, and Hal. With honorable mentions of Dirk, all the Captors, and Gamzee.

Whew. Hope that... answers the question! It’s really hard to pick the favorites when on different days different stuff and plots tickle you fancy!
