I'm a bit too tired to explain everything, but I believe I have found the edge graph for the boundary of the 4-dimensional solid defined by the intersection of the following four implicit innequalities:

x^2+y^2+z^2≤1, y^2+z^2+w^2≤1,

z^2+w^2+x^2≤1, w^2+x^2+y^2≤1.

This is the four-dimensional analogue of the tricylinder, the 3-dimensional solid defined to be the intersection of three cylinders of equal radius, one passing through each axis, that is, the intersection of four "hypercylinders" of equal radius, where a 4-dimensional hypercylinder is a Cartesian product of a 2-sphere 3-ball* with an axis. I got a rough idea of what the boundary graph must look like by taking 3-dimensional slices, i.e., plotting the intersection of the implicits in 3-d for w=1, w=0.9, ..., w=-1. (actually plotted max(eq1,eq2,eq3,eq4)≤1 which is equivalent, kekekek)

Here's a plot of it in 3d achieved through rough stereographic projection, where the infinitely-extending edges are connected to a single point at infinity (four of the six said lines lie in z=0 and thus appear as one big line through the middle, here's the graph so you can rotate them out of z=0, it's kinda laggy so be careful if you're on a phone):

My Destruction Only Account - 4.5

Before 1.3 comes out, I'll give you a quick update on the state of the account, yeah? Yeah.

Destruction Only is up to date on all current Trailblaze quests. The Account has ascended to EQ3, meaning we now have access to Gold relics, but at kinda shitty drop rates. I don't know how long the account will loiter around here.

The only major update to the account is that, thanks to the MVP of the account, Hook, we've cleared SU6-1!

As for the upcoming Destruction character, Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae, we have 85 tickets saved up for him. However, we still have to win the 50/50, so I'm keeping my fingers super duper crossed.

Now, let's talk about Builds, shall we?

First up, since she's been performing better than I thought she would, let's start with Hook.

Hook is sporting a 36/76 Crit ratio with 2100 ATK

Arlan has 21/118 Crit ratio with 2100 ATK

Blade is rocking 45/102 with 5000 HP (and he still has that 3* Crit chest piece....)

And the big man himself, Nanook, has 48/89 with 1700 ATK. His ATK is much lower because unlike Arlan and Hook, he has SPD boots because he ends up acting as the SP Generator sometimes.

In about a day the servers will go down, and after that this account will try to bring home Cold Dragon Young.

Guitar and Bass DI Shootout notes!

I aimed to make a simple verse at 150 tempo in D minor with a low down bass pattern, mute-canceling strumming rhythm guitar part, and bouncing lead guitar melody in my arrangement at the end which these sections and parts cumulate to at the end of this demonstration. I imagine it as a lead into a driving chorus where a future vocal line can begin to wail out after a chilled-out verse- as my inspirations in songwriting originate from Nirvana and independent bands of the modern day. Using the STL Tones Howard Benson Plugin, I sought out a lightly driven Ampeg style amp for the bass tone, a Tubescreamer-fronted Vox AC30 style amp for rhythm guitars, and a pushed Fender Tweed style amp for the lead guitars. Only modifications were using the plugins’ internal reverb and delay sparingly, and added the aforementioned Single-Band EQ plugin for a subtle high shelf on the Lead Guitar.That’s it- no parallel processing, aux sends, or anything funny with the mixing. Nothing too fun until I can determine which method to record my Direct Input Guitars.

Now, time for my favorite. I’d like you to guess which one my favorite is of the three routing methods with a 35ish second arrangement I made for this test. I used the same DI method for Bass, Rhythm Guitars, and Lead Guitars in this final example. I thought it sounded nice for what it was while not going deep into processing to keep the integrity of direct signals and keeping this test close to its roots, how a DIY musician approaches songwriting at the first step- plugging in and playing your instrument with minimal nor no outboard processing, other than maybe your favorite preamp pedal.

wild question to randomly submit but what kind of couch do you have and would you recommend it? From the one pic of your cat with it in the background the couch is the kinda squared, modern sits on the floor style I’m looking for in my apartment.

I chose that sofa because I wanted something that sat in the floor (don’t have to vacuum underneath) and was long enough for me to stretch out on and still have room for Dudley, and wide flat arms because I knew dud likes napping like this:

I also wanted a completely flat surface because my old sofa had tufted surface which Dudley managed to track cat litter in and was such a pain to keep clean with all the nooks and crevices.

So many places don’t have proper showrooms anymore and expect you to just order without sitting which I think is crazy because sofa can be a pretty big purchase.

I don’t actually love this sofa and regret choosing it tbh. The problem with these modern style sofas is that they have really low backs. That’s fine for a hotel lobby or a short sit, but pretty uncomfortable for watching a movie :(

I also needed a sectional because a full length sofa wouldn’t be able to get into my apartment.

I actually think that IKEA KIVAK has a lot of these good qualities, and as a bonus the covers can be removed and washed (or changed if you want a new color). I actually think IKEA makes some great solid furniture, and KIVAK is all solid construction and I think it looks good although I had one and it lasted maybe 6 years before the foam collapsed and became pretty uncomfortable.

It will cost about 3 times more, but in my shortlist was the Morton by EQ3, I tried it in a showroom and I LOVED it, but I read so many bad review online about the quality and delays (they are all made to order) but in retrospect I think I probably should have done with the Morton instead (I would have ordered as a 3 seater but I can only find photos with the chase). I really regret not taking the chance on this because it was really so comfortable and style wise had everything I was looking for. If I could go back in time this is the one I would order.

If you get any of the more expensive options I found that most companies have pretty significant sales where you can get 20% or more and free shipping etc.

Good luck! It’s so stressful choosing, but I would emphasize going for comfort over aesthetics!
