To have failed in killing Shinichi Kudo . . . he's made a huge oversight.
My video for SLICE (Short Little Iron Chef Edits), at BentoVid! The goal was to create at least a 90-second AMV within 100 hours, using a song from a list of songs only revealed at the start of the challenge. Given my slow editing, I can't believe I did it, but I did!
The song can be found here, and my video is also available on YouTube here, in full 1080p and with subtitles that can be toggled on and off.

Supernatural Netflix Viewing Numbers - Jan. 2023 - Jun. 2023
Thanks to anon on this ask, I was able to download Netflix' report with viewing hours from Jan. 2023 to June 2023. I thought I'd run some numbers for Supernatural.
Now, obviously, with these numbers, there are caveats in that we don't know if certain episodes are watched more than others, so the best I can do is an average of views per episode in a season. Some episodes in the same season may get fewer views while others get more (this is the only way it makes sense to me why Season 15 is watched more than Season 14, lol!)
Based on the math below the cut, here are the rankings of most-watched Supernatural seasons (# = average views per episode):
Season 3: 65,421
Season 1: 61,822
Season 2: 49,614
Season 4: 47,794
Season 5: 45,253
Season 6: 41,633
Season 7: 36,681
Season 8: 35,054
Season 9: 32,744
Season 10: 31,909
Season 11: 30,889
Season 15: 29,820
Season 14: 29,206
Season 12: 28,048
Season 13: 26,958
As you can see, Seasons 1-5 are expectedly at the top, with 1-3 taking the top three,
People can draw their own conclusions, but for me, it just proves that the general public watch Supernatural for Sam and Dean, and anyone planning a reboot, looking at these numbers, should know exactly what to put back on our screens.
Now, I'm no math major (I actually got a D- in math in 7th grade), so if I'm doing something wrong, someone please correct me! But, I believe by dividing the total number of minutes viewed by the total number of minutes in the season, we can calculate the number of separate views per season. Then, if you divide the views by episode count, you can get a decent average of how many people watched each episode in the first 6 months of this year.
Season 1; 22 episodes:
1.254 billion minutes/922 minutes = 1,360,087 views/22 = 61,822 avg. views per episode.
Season 2; 22 episodes:
978 million minutes/896 minutes = 1,091,518 views/22 = 49,614 avg. views per episode
Season 3; 16 episodes:
672 million minutes/642 minutes = 1,046,729 views/16 = 65,421 avg. views per episode
Season 4; 22 episodes:
960 million minutes/913 minutes = 1,051,479/22 = 47,794 avg. views per episode
Season 5; 22 episodes:
900 million minutes/904 minutes = 995,575/22 = 45,253 avg. views per episode
Season 6; 22 episodes:
828 million minutes/904 minutes = 915,929/22 = 41,633 avg. views per episode
Season 7; 23 episodes:
804 million minutes/953 minutes = 843,652/23 = 36,681 avg. views per episode
Season 8; 23 episodes:
774 million minutes/960 minutes = 806,250/23 = 35,054 avg. views per episode
Season 9; 23 episodes:
726 million minutes/964 minutes = 753,112/23 = 32,744 avg. views per episode
Season 10; 23 episodes:
684 million minutes/932 minutes = 733,906/23 = 31,909 avg. views per episode
Season 11; 23 episodes:
660 million minutes/929 minutes = 710,441/23 = 30,889 avg. views per episode
Season 12; 23 episodes:
618 million minutes/958 minutes = 645,094/23 = 28,048 avg. views per episode
Season 13; 23 episodes:
594 million minutes/958 minutes = 620,042/23 = 26,958 avg. views per episode
Season 14; 20 episodes:
486 million minutes/832 minutes = 584,135/20 = 29,206 avg. views per episode
Season 15; 20 episodes:
498 million minutes/835 minutes = 596,407/20 = 29,820 avg. views per episode

Weekends in Soho - Chapter One
Masterlist
Word Count: 726
Ineffable Husbands x GN!College!Reader
Warnings: season 2 spoilers (ish)
Final 15 never happened. They kissed and stayed together.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Two hours was a relatively short tube ride to you, coming from America and all, where going to the shops could take an hour even in the same city. So really, you couldn’t complain for a two hour ride to another city. You were certainly desperate now, class work was falling behind and you couldn’t afford that. Yet everywhere in Oxford seemed to be a distraction. The Starbucks turned into a flirting disaster between you and the barista who was five years older. The library was wrecked with familiar faces, classmates, friends, all people who were looking for their own excuse to not complete an assignment. Your home, even, was too distracting. The dishes needed doing, there was a new episode of your favorite show just aired, you always did say you’d dust later. Too many distractions. Too many things to do. So in a last minute effort to gain control, you bought a hotel and fares to Soho, London. Maybe a weekend away was what you needed.
You did your best to balance your laptop on your legs, keeping the volume of the device off, earbuds in as your phone played your favorite song on repeat, repetition meant you could tune it out, but the music kept the outside world out.
“Paddington Station.” The announcement blared, you had barely heard it, only looking up to the sign and seeing it. “Shit!” You murmured, gathering your things quickly and hectic like, jumping out onto the platform just in time, only realizing you had left your umbrella behind. “Oh, fuck me!” You huffed, noticing a man looking at you questioningly. “Not literally, twat.” You scoffed, carefully putting your things into your bag to protect them from the light drizzle, looking down at your phone and putting in the coordinates to your hotel, which luckily wasn’t too far, but without an umbrella, you really couldn’t walk around the neighborhood to look for dinner options or even a library.
“Oh, that smarts.” You had winced when you saw a couple get drenched by an awning suddenly tearing, out of the corner of your eye you could have sworn you saw someone in the bookshop across the street, watching the same scene with a similar pained expression. Wait. Bookshop! You scurried over quickly, doing your best to protect your belongings as you entered the door and nearly slammed it behind you.
“We’re closed, piss off.” The man from the window said, walking around carrying a pile of books. Another man, older, looking towards you sympathetically.
“It’s pouring like crazy out there, and I left my umbrella on the tube, can’t I just wait the rain out?” You had asked, shivering and drenched, but soon feeling a warm towel engulf you, looking behind you to see the older man putting it around your shoulder. “Thank you…”
“Jim.” The man answered with a grin, “would you like a hot chocolate?”
“I’d love that, if it’s no trouble.” You accepted, noticing the red haired man seemed to be scowling at Jim. You stuck close to Jim, he was much more friendly, making sure the hot chocolate was to your liking.
“Oh, fancy that, rain’s gone.” The red haired man, Crowley as Jim told you, said. “Bugger off.”
“I’ll visit another day,” you promised Jim, patting his hand kindly as you handed him back the now empty mug.
“I like them.” Jim announced when you had closed the door.
“You like everyone. I doubt your opinion here matters much.” Crowley rolled his eyes, looking down to see one of your bags remained, groaning as he picked it up. “Probably would lose their head if it weren’t attached.” He mumbled, looking at the travel tag and humming your name to himself, safely tucking the bag under Aziraphale’s desk.
“Please, tell me you didn’t sell any of my books?!” Aziraphale yelled out as he rushed in, eyes wide with worry. So the angel did see you leave his shop.
“And what if I did?” Crowley tried to tease, but immediately backtracking when his husband’s eyes threatened to fill with tears.
“No, no, no, I’m sorry.” Crowley rushed over to Aziraphale. “I didn’t sell any books, they just wanted to get out of the rain.”
“Trying to create another Maggie and Nina moment?” The angel jested.
“It would work if that bloody shop would buy a quality awning.”
“I’m sure it would, dear.”

What to do if Durarara over
I'm going to assume you've finished the anime and have not gone into anything else Naritaverse wise
So! You can read the novels. Since they're officially licensed by yen press, you can buy the soft cover books or get them as an ebook / kindle from barnes and noble or amazon. I don't really endorse this but I'm sure if you do enough digging around you can find old, still available, free translations like anni_fiesta who did a lot of translating back in the day. Here's the link to their Index of Translation. I still use it since it's the only place I know that has the white day story translated and it's one of my favorites (For Kadota Related reasons haha), plus a couple of other side stories.
(I think the internet archives have the novels if you do some poking around but for Narita Please Write SH 5 reasons, I'll ask you to dig those up lmao)
Speaking of Side stories, Kazinha-726 translated a bunch of drrr side stories But since they haven't updated in a while, you need to change the links from kaedesan721 to their new URL kazinha-726. I'll directly link what you need here
Izaya Spin Off Translations I don't think these are officially licensed for translation so it's fine for me to link. This is the story of Izaya now that he's been forced out of Ikebukuro, and there's two books as of writing this.
Durarara Gaidens It's some gaidens, but It's also a handful of translated convos from 3 way stand of alley relay, the links use that kaedesan721 link, so while I won't be fixing all those links for you, I can at least link the tag for all of them here. you can probably find audio for this game on youtube, though I'm not sure anyone's like.... fully translated? perhaps? Which ALSO reminds me of the relay manga
Durarara Epitome of Eighteen Histories Written along side the release of season 2, we've got some stories involving Kazane Kinomiya, who's the half sister of Shinra, and a reporter. They have all 18 listed there nicely EXCEPT the Erika and Walker Link is a little messed up, and if you search through the posts you can get to it but anyway here's the link to that story specifically
DRRR x Hakata Tonkatsu Ramens Actually I haven't seen HTR or read it so I can't really tell you about this one but if you're into that series--
There's ALSO MiniDura which are little gag comics of the durarara cast in chibis! there should be 4 books as of me writing this. Godspeed on finding translations they seem to be around.... but this post is long and I'm scared of losing it so I'll update later on how many chapters there are so you don't miss any, though I'm seeing up to 10 in my cursory search.
Shizuo, Izaya, and Celty are also in uh.... Dengeki Bunko's fighting Climax, which you might be able to find some stuff on on youtube. but since it's Dengeki Bunko you also have other series... I can only remember A Certain Magical Index / A Certain Scientific Railgun / the other titles in this series as being part of it whoops.
So you've done all that, what do you do next?
Well Narita has other series, like Baccano! which had an anime before DRRR did, which is 16 episodes. Since Funimation lost the license back in like... 2012 it's not officially uh licensed for viewing anywhere, so uh. wink wink. message me if you need more help here.
There's ALSO the novels which... there are so many more than there are for drrr, also available to purchase, though these are hardcovers! Last time I checked they had.... around 20 translated? Since I'm more drrr side I'd have to ask about fan translations and if I can still find them around. But again I don't really condone it since we want more written you know?
Narita also has a couple other series, but the one that's my favorite besides DRRR is Etsusa Bridge (It's pronounced Essa Bridge don't make the same mistake I did. )
And i NEED more people to read that one please please please please
Unfortunately, the person who did the fan translation closed their Blogspot to the public so uh. the first 4 books, and really what is the main story, is available on the internet archive here
Though I'm saying thank you to baka-tsuki for my life by having a page of links here, which includes the 5th book, 5656 part two (NARITA..... I NEED 5656 PART 2 PLEASE...... PLEASE)
and Vamp on the internet archive here and baka-tsuki here
I also know about Hariyama-san but i don't actually know... if anyone translated that one..... Narita has also written for Bleach and Fate Strange/ Fake if you're into those. Straight up just linking this wiki page in case you have any interest in other stuff he's written
And finally! Currently, Dead Mount Death Play (often shortened to DMDP) is a manga written (or co written?) by Narita! which is currently getting an anime and all of his attention.
All that being said I've been really into Trigun lately lmao
Anyone else feel free to add on or tell me what I may be missing

༉‧₊˚ ✩ ۫    CICADA's Apocalyptic Journey: From Netflix Stardom to a Sudden Disbandment
WRITTEN BY ... SEVENJEANS || POSTED ON ... 9/23/2023
Tumblr media
In the ever-evolving landscape of K-pop, few stories have captivated audiences quite like that of CICADA. Debuting in 2020, this eight-member boy group shot to fame through their unique Netflix series, simply titled "CICADA." Blending elements of horror and apocalypse, the show unfolded a gripping narrative set in a world plagued by mutated cicadas. With twenty episodes spanning two thrilling seasons, the series left viewers on the edge of their seats.
CICADA's rise to prominence was marked by their debut mini-album, which may not have clinched any music show awards, but it flew off the shelves with an impressive 75,000 units sold. Their journey took an exciting turn in July of the same year when they returned with their second mini-album, "Chapter Two." The group's sales surged to 90,000 units, a testament to their growing fan base and musical prowess.
However, recent events shook the foundations of both CICADA and Angelico Entertainment. Son Jinhwa, the CEO of Angelico for two decades, resigned amidst a highly publicized and contentious lawsuit that exposed disturbing allegations. The abrupt departure of Son Jinhwa marked a turning point as Son Roan stepped into the CEO role, initiating a reconfiguration of the entertainment company.
As the winds of change swept through Angelico, CICADA's future hung in the balance. The group's composition underwent a significant alteration, with four members—Ash, Issei, Sol, and Sammy—deciding to continue their journey under Angelico. Ash and Issei assumed new roles as producers, while Sol and Sammy began preparations for an intriguing future project.
However, not all members remained in the fold. Daeul and Hyojin found their contracts unceremoniously terminated. When questioned about these terminations, CEO Son Roan was unambiguous in his response, stating, "Good riddance. No further questions about them, please."
With this sudden twist in their journey, CICADA's legacy is a complex tapestry of success, controversy, and change. As they embark on new chapters in their careers, the world of K-pop watches with bated breath, wondering what the future holds for these talented artists who once captured our hearts amidst the chilling chorus of cicadas.

I’m at ch.726 now, out of 1096, I think?? In the manga?
In the live action I haven’t reached the Arlong arc yet (I watch the show alongside a friend) and we’re also on the anime too lmao, episode 45!
okay, i haven't tried the manga yet but maybe i will eventually. it's really cool that you're so far into it though!
i hope you're enjoying the LA though because it's just as fun as the anime! and while i'm not so far into the anime, i'm already loving the goofiness XD but it is soooo long

One Piece — "Fourth Gear"
From Volume 78 - Chapter 784/ Season 11 Episode 726. Now that Trafalgar Law is out of comission, it's up to Luffy to fight Doflamingo on his own. To make matters worse, Doflamingo's birdcage is less than 30 minutes away from collapsing, slicing everyone in the town to bits! This means that Luffy can't play around and toy with Doffy, he has to overwhelm him with intense power to defeat him quickly. Luckily he has a technique he learned when training with Rayleigh that he hasn't needed to employ until now. With a mastery of Haki and rubber-like abilities, Luffy can take on a Buddha-like form he calls "Fourth Gear"!!!

Hey, been reading your reviews for months now! Found you randomly one day and it's been a nice little addition to my life. Finally caught up to your most recent post. Any timeline on the next one? :)
Thank you very much for the kind words. I'm glad to hear that people enjoy my ramblings.
I'm going to take the opportunity to make this a status post, since I never got around to making one at the start of the year.
I've had a draft for episode 33 saved for..... over a month.
Tumblr media
and most days over the last month, I've said to myself "I need to get back to that." Instead I played video games or watched TV or worked on personal projects, whatever was holding my attention.
I absolutely insist on finishing Go Go before my fifth anniversary next month. It's probably going to require another format change to do so. Back to basics, a real quick recitation of my likes and dislikes about an episode, kind of like how it started in the beginning, but I'm going to do it, and episode 33 will be out very soon.
On that note..... the future of this project is up in the air. There was a point late last year where I said that I was going to drop it after December 31 regardless of where I was at progress-wise. I did not follow through on that because I keep wanting to see this series through to the end. But the fact remains that it's been 5 years now, and 3 of those years have been stuck on this same show. If I stuck to a daily schedule (which I think I've shown I can't anymore), it would take me exactly the same amount of time to catch up now as it hypthetically did when I started, about 2 and a half years. Less frequent posts means more time. There are, by my count, as of this date, 726 Precure episodes and movies that I haven't covered, and with about 50 new pieces of media a year.... yeah.
I haven't yet made a decision. I do love Precure and there's some seasons I really want to revisit and write about (Fresh, or at least the Eas-Passion arc, Heartcatch, Dokidoki, and Go Princess in particular) while there's some others that I would not mind revisiting but I hold them less fondly in my memory. I don't want to be writing this post again on the 25th anniversary, wringing my hands about how I can't get through Suite Precure.
Anyway. We'll see what happens. For now, look forward to a hopeful uptick in posts as I try to crank out 16 episodes and a movie over the next month.
By the way, Hirogaru Sky! Precure has started, and I love it. It's so refreshing. So that's lifted my spirits some.
